Unfortunately this time around wasn’t as great as others. The Hotel manager (Cristi) I believe that’s her name or short of her name since I was told by a staff member because she never mentioned her name to me; she wasn’t in the best interests of help me in solving my situation. She took the word of one of her employees over mine and she was never apologetic about it even though I know that I was correct. I asked for a extension on my stay the night before checking out, I called the front desk and a gentleman named Jack help me and he said that there was no problem with me staying an extra night, he never mentioned that my family and I had to change rooms at all. The next morning I left the hotel for a doctors appointment and left my belongings in the room; later that afternoon I was called by the manager asking me to remove my items from the room because it was already booked by someone else, I said to her that I was away from the hotel and that no one had mentioned anything about changing rooms, she insisted that I was told so and that I need it to get my things and move to a different room or check out, I asked if she could just call the other guests and change the room for them just like they have done to me many times because of “leaks” . She said she couldn’t do that and that I was the one who need it to go back to the hotel and get my things or they could move it for me because they need it my room. This situation made me feel unappreciated and missed treated not just because I am a Dimond member but also a guests especially since she has seen me at that hotel many times for many days since that was my go to hotel every time I traveled to Dallas, she know I travel with kids also so I thought that she would try her very best to help us in this situation, but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. If I ever book that hotel again it won’t be thanks to the manager but thanks to the staff whom had always made us feel welcomed and they even know us by name and they know my kids. But I am very disappointed this time.
Never have I had a hotel change the room reservation to a completely different room type. Not only was it changed from a king 1 bedroom suite to a queen studio but there was no mention of this by phone, email, or by the checking in desk agent. Checked in an found the room to be swapped once we arrived at the room, ok must have been a mix up or something was the first thought nope the desk agent literally said I needed a handicap accessible room. No not any where in my profile does it mention this being the case triple checked. So the desk agents then explained that they didnt have the king available anymore since they rebooked it. Ok any other one bedroom suites avaliable nope none of them either. Not one to settle I look up room availability on my phone and show them that they show to have queen one bedroom suites available so whats the issue. Then they went on to tell me that they couldnt do anything about it. At this point Im ready to go to another hotel but they stated that I would be charged either way. Alright so well tough it out then as we were only in Dallas for some family attractions for a couple days.Heading back to the room I pulled up the email confirmation of what I book and well yup was a 1 bedroom king suite just liked i remembered booking. Not one to settle again I head back to the front desk and show them the confirmation email. Then they start scrambling to correct the issue which magically included them finding an open queen 1 bedroom suite they had just told me they didnt have. During all this the manager on duty shows up doesnt talk to me but the desk staff only who males it seem like all is well. Not to mention the checking in desk agaent saying well your only here for a couple nights. Length of my stay is irrelevant service should be the same for one night as it is for someone staying a week. Quite displeased with the whole ordeal. Now I will mention my family and I were traveling with a service animal which is the excuse I got for the room swap without any acknowledgement. Not the first time we have traveled with a service animal and not everyone who has a service animal needs a handicap accessible room but I leave that to poor judgment and lack of training of hotel staff. Never have we had this type of issue. Im not going to book the most expensive room in the hotel and expect to be put in the cheapest upon arrival (they even had the audacity to try to charge the room the same for the queen studio suite as the 1 bedroom king). Surely not the level of service I expect from a Hilton branded hotel nor the treatment of a diamond member knowing we stay at Hilton hotel quite a bit.Only reason this isnt a 1 star review is the hotel is quite nice, clean, and packed with all the amenities you could ask for in a hotel. The room we ended up in was comparable which not what was booked was nice as well.Edit: Guess I shouldve read the reviews on Google a little better before picking this property looks like the ol room switch might be a common thing here.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I have been burned by hotels recently being told they have amenities that dont exist, horrible staff, unavailable shuttle all kinds of issues but this hotel was EXCELLENT! I was told I would have a cooktop and I never received it because they were fully booked. I didnt like that but there was a microwave in each room so I was still able to cook. The pool was great, the breakfast was really good especially the waffles and these little sausages baked into bread yum!! The staff was very friendly, even the cleaning staff was very nice and hospitable. I will look for these hotels every time I travel!!!
This is a great place to stay. The room was very clean and the staff is friendly. Had no problems checking in at all, even booking through a third party. The staff was especially helpful and attentive. This hotel is located in a great area. You can walk to several nice restaurants TGIF, Outback and across the street is a comedy club. You can walk everywhere. We went in September and walked over for the Oktoberfest and had an amazing night. Highly recommended!
I stayed at this hotel the first week of December for over a week. I initially booked this room using the hotels.com but youll find a better deal booking in advance using Hilton Honors website, if you are looking to book a room last minutes, hotels.com will be your best bet.My girlfriend and I travel often, staying at various hotels. When we pick a hotel we look at various websites to determine where we will stay based on four main factors: cleanliness, safety, value and proximity to restaurants and shops. This hotel aces all of the above checkboxes. It also, has a gym with working equipment and none of the weights missing (those of you who travel often, know what Im talking about!). The hotel also offers free breakfast and its not your typical generic breakfast with fake scrambled eggs and sausage links. Each morning they usually had about 4 different breakfast sandwiches to pick from as well as the usual fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and waffles. The breakfast alone is probably a $10 value per guest. The staff was great as well, they were attentive, professional and always available.
It has a fitness center and pool and spacious rooms its my last day here but when ever I come back to dallas Im picking this hotel and I almost forgot there are atleast 20 to 30 restaurants by 5 minutes radius and 1 fancy restaurant just a block away a very located place if your traveling by car and downtown dallas in just 15 - 20 minutes in car and if your going for Christmas visit grapevine too and pick this hotel too as it is a 15 minute car drive to grapevine. This hotel is a good hotel. Hope you guys enjoy.
This hotel is top rated with fantastic staff. They are friendly and feels like a second home! From the continental breakfast to the huge salt water pool and all the in between was worth choosing this hotel for business travel. I must mention the clientele matched the staff personality. Quiet, clean, and southern friendliness! I will continue to choose this particular home2 suites by Hilton in this location for my traveling needs. Thank you Liz you are an awesome person!
White I was parked in the hotel parking lot my car was vandalized. The right front tire/wheel was stolen over night. When I reported this to the Hotel management, they immediately called the police and the police responded rapidly. I filed the police report. Cost to replace the tires was $430, since I had to replace one wheel and 2 tires (a pair must be matching). Due to my loss, the hotel re-imbursed me for 2 nights stay, a total value of $300. So the cost to me was about $130. But, I now had 2 new tires on my car (the old ones had 2/3 of mileage available), and this value was about $100, so I did not really have a net loss. Insurance did not pay, since I have a $500 deductable. The hotel is not located in a high crime area, but I think they could improve the security, by adding some fences around the parking area. I think the hotel handled this vandalism issue very well, especially since it did not appear that this had been a problem in the past. So I have given them a 5 star rating.
It was terrible. On December 26, 2021 after an eight hour drive, Dulce was completely awful. I booked a King Suite but she refused to accommodate me. She made me feel less than human and totally not welcomed. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me to call back tomorrow to speak to her supervisor. She did nothing to acknowledge their mistake or to correct the issue. Customer service is key and Dulce doesn’t have it!!!!!!
This hotel has the potential to be really good. However, the paper thin walls and mediocre breakfast will keep it from being one. We didnt get a good nights rest because we could hear everything going on in the rooms next to us and in the hallway. It was loud! The breakfast offered a lot of artificial items, but not many healthy options. However, on the plus side, the staff were very nice and courteous.
My stay was very pleasant. The hotel host made my check in process very easy and quick and made sure i was recognized as an honors member. When I entered the room, it was at a comfortable temperature and clean. i would recommend this Home2 Suites for your next trip to the Dallas area
We made reservations for this place months in advance, the day of, they cancelled our reservation. They said with no charge to us!! We came off of the highway to no room!; Had to go to another one that was a nightmare! I will be telling everyone about my time in Dallas
Very nice!! Room was clean and spacious. We had a party of five. The room included two queen beds, sofa bed, and a furnished kitchenette. The price also include free breakfast with an array of foods. Food is served to you....no making your own waffles, eggs, etc. Staff was very nice. Will visit again.
We had a great time here. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The location is also excellent, it is in close proximity to a lot of things! The restaurants nearby were FANTASTIC. They also had a good breakfast selection. I would definitely stay here again.
We decided to stay in Home2Suites for the comfortable apartment like living. It is very spacious and it has a kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a tv in the living room and also tv in the room. Great for a family stay. Breakfast is provided and lots of good options to pick. It has a nice outdoor pool and also a mini gym. Definitely recommend if you have kids.
I used to stay at all Holiday Inns including the express and suites but since I started staying at Home2 Suites by Hilton, I have fallen in love with it. These are newer hotels with all amenities clean for customers comfort. Their complimentary breakfast is muaah... nice pools and lovely lounge.
I usually don’t write reviews but I have to commend this specific hotel. From the moment we walked until we left our experience was more than 5 stars. The property is very very clean. The staff is very courteous and professional. Another big pro, location location location. Hotel is literally in a prime location next to restaurants, highways, stores. There’s everything walking and driving distance. I’ll be staying here whenever i’m in Dallas.
Disappointed in the cleanliness of our room considering were in the middle of a pandemic. Found stray hairs on the floor in the bathroom and within the sheets. Fingerprints were on the microwave and fridge handles. There was no dish soap available to wash dishes like other Home2 Suites provide throughout Texas. Our room seemed outdated. Rust spots on lighting in bathroom and carpet looked stained in many places. I had to Lysel Spray the whole room before I felt comfortable touching anything. The noise level on my floor (2nd) was above normal after 10pm. Mainly children running wild through the hallway. The breakfast bar in the morning was always packed and served the typical bagels, cereal, watery eggs and dried up biscuits. Not impressed at all. Limited TV channels with HBO being the Premier station. The only thing good about my stay was that the bed and pillows. They were very comfortable. I initially chose this hotel because it had a 4.6 star rating on Google which I find hard to believe now that Ive stayed there. I was willing to pay the higher nightly rate based on the review but I could have stayed somewhere else for cheaper to get the same results. Lesson learned....dont go by reviews on Google cause they are not accurate. Try Airbnb instead!
This hotel is definitely worth the extra bucks! The room itself is very nice and super clean. The AC works a little too well, you wont get hot! The bathroom is very clean and shower gets nice and hot with great water pressure. I love that it is a glass shower, more roomy and they give you a wall mounted shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower. Definitely better than those tiny bottles other places give you. They give you lots of towels for longer stays and lots of trash bags to put outside your room to be picked up. Due to Covid, housekeeping only comes in at your request after at least 7 nights, if you need towels/toilet paper you can just go to the front desk. They serve you breakfast which is nice and you can even pick what room/floor you want as well as use your phone to unlock the room! Love the mini kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. The dishwasher has dishes in it for you to use like plates and utensils. You can even get a little stove burner from the front desk! Very home like feels at this place very quiet other than in the hallways sometimes. You can sometimes hear the people walking above you but if you turn your AC on its not noticeable. You faintly can hear kids at the pool so if you want to avoid that go to the other side not facing the pool and a few floors up (I was on the 2nd floor). The only other thing you hear are the planes but they are not super disturbing so I had no complaints. The wifi is decent and sometimes will disconnect you and you have to sign back on but was never a huge issue. Overall great hotel, nice staff that are quick and very welcoming. Love that you can walk to the 3 nearby restaurants and there are tons more around the area. Would definitely stay here or another Hilton hotel again!
I was visiting the area for the Christmas holiday, this place was perfect location. They were pet friendly, with me bringing my small dog. There were doggie stations on property. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, which are sealed with the Hilton Clean Stay sticker. I could tell when I walked in the room they went well above cleaning standards. I reserved a 2 queen beds studio room. It was large area room, had a sofa sleeper. There was a dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator, small coffee maker. Dishes and silverware were a nice touch. The beds were so SOFT that I fell asleep almost instantly. They do offer a nice variety breakfast- omelets, oatmeal, waffles, yogurts, cereals, juices. No buffet style, the nice ladies will prepare it and serve it to you.The whole staff was nice, from the front desk to Janet the director of sales. I would definitely stay here again.
This was, by far, the best hotel experience I have had in years. John at the front desk was nothing short of the picture you see when you look up epic hotel staff. The quality, design and comfort of the room was just...cool. They have the nicest pool area I think Ive seen...even with some premium brands. Oh, and an actual dog park...not just a square of grass on the side of the building...awesome! Up to this point, I have always done my business and vacation traveling with my kids (and dog) at IHG hotels. After a negative experience with one of their properties in Austin prior to our arrival in Addison (Dallas), Home2 Suites was like an oasis. Thanks to John and the quality of the hotel and experience, I am shifting all of my travel to Home2 Suites. If you want to stay at a hotel that is a proper mix of the comfort of an extended stay property without the meh feeling you get, stay at Home2 Suites (ESPECIALLY in Addison), as they have managed to class up the experience without breaking the bank. Oh, BTW...best breakfast in any hotel Ive stayed in. Thanks John...it was the family getaway we needed. :-)
We booked a room with 2 beds and pull out couch got there and the computer cancelled our room and gave us a room with 1 bed and the couch. That was all they had left. One of my kids had to sleep on The floor and the other one had to sleep with me and my hubby 🤦♀️ The only reason that I did not throw a fit was the front desk clerk John he was absolutely wonderful he definitely knew how to defuse a situation he has a wonderful attitude and needs to be acknowledged with a pay raise 😁 NOW on to the room I was very please with how clean it was and even after all that mess upI will definitely be booking with Home 2 suites again. THANK YOU JOHN FOR YOUR KIND FRIENDLY SERVICE!
This place is perfect! Front desk friendly and helpful. Location near every kind of restaurant you like plus a Target, Walmart and mall. Easy access to Dallas North tollway. Rooms large, clean and comfortable! Pool and gym amazing and OMG the best complimentary breakfast I have every had. Well be here 7 nights, so im very happy I chose this hotel. ☺
This was a first staying at this property for my family and I. We stayed for two days and had no regrets. The two queen with sleeper sofa suite was very spacious. It had a dishwasher/ full size refrigerator/ microwave/ cups and mugs and eating utensils. Sink as well. The room was very clean, the lobby smelled fresh every day throughout the day. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty decent compared to other hotels. I see a few complaints for other prior guest about the water pressure from the shower but its not that bad. A little less pressure than normal but still gets the job done. This hotel is minutes away from the Galleria by vehicle and within walking distance to places to eat. Texas De Brazil is across the street ( a bit pricey but well worth it if you enjoy this type of food or never been)
His property is very well run, clean and well staffed. I worked in Hotels for many years. I used to alternate between HWS and H2S in Addison. My last few stays at HWS Addison were disappointing. Their property is growing tired and the guest agents are not the same caliber as H2S Addison. I love the new Dog Park area you added, as I travel with a service animal. Stayed with you many times before and for the extra money you are worth it over HWS or other properties in your segment. Associates at H2S have always gone out of their way to accommodate my special request I will be back over Christmas! keep up the good work! A Happy Diamond Member.
This place is absolutely incredible. We have stayed here a few times now, and the quality has remained consistent. The various staff members all handle customers professionally, no matter what time of day. This facility has super clean rooms, and the common areas are kept up as well. Including the free breakfast in the morning and the saline pool, the amenities are outstanding. Looking forward to the next visit!
We loved it here! Right when we walked into the lobby, you could smell the cleanliness! The front desk agents were polite, and got us checked in quickly! When we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean, and new looking everything was! We loved the refrigerator, sink, and microwave in the room. The pool was great too! It had a shallow end for the younger kids, and the towels provided were large and fluffy! The breakfast was pretty good, and the kids loved making their own Texas sized/shaped waffle! The housekeeping and breakfast bar staff were amazing! The location is very convenient, close to many restaurants. They even had a crib for the baby. If we visit the area again, we will definitely be staying here again!
I had a wonderful staycation here made all the better by the wonderful manager Adrian. I had booked through hotels.com and though I had paid for a suite and had the photos on my hotels.com they had only booked me a standard room. Adrian kindly fixed the problem and apologized for Their mistake. Gym and laundry room were great, they even have spin bikes! I found the hotel to be quiet and well situated with five major restaurants in the parking lot, outback, BJs, On the border, chilis and the Hudson House (which was recommend by Adrian and was outstanding). Thank you!
This hotel was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. During these Covid times, it appears that they are taking as many precautions as possible to keep things safe. They even created grab and go bagged breakfasts since they could not serve the usual buffet. Overall the stay was pleasant, the room and beds were comfortable, and I have zero complaints, which is unusual for me when I stay at a hotel. I highly recommend them & will be back should the need ever arise again.
Very nice staff! The hotel is nice & modern. The rooms have a big fridge, dishwasher, garbage disposal and sink & also a microwave. The free breakfast in the lobby is very good as well. Lots of hot & cold choices & plenty of places to sit and eat! Great place for extended trips or for traveling with kids!
I’m impressed with this hotel. It’s an affordable price and located in a safe neighborhood, and they are taking extra measures to keep things sanitary during the COVID pandemic. The rooms are clean, quiet, and have a nice comfortable bed. That’s all I ever ask for in a hotel. An added bonus: these rooms include a FULL size fridge, microwave, and a dishwasher. But wait, that’s not all folks; they also include a full kitchen of dishes, utensils (even a colander and a cutting board). If you need a cooktop (and skillets), you can request one from the front desk for no charge. I almost felt like I was renting a condo at the coast with all of the accoutrements.During COVID times, they are taking extra measures to sanitize things. They won’t even rent out a room until 48 hours after the last guest has checked out. They also keep the exterior doors locked all day to limit the amount of people in the lobby. You have to hit the buzzer to request entrance, or if you have already checked in, you can swipe your room key to get in.In summary: nice clean rooms, and I feel they are taking extra measures to keep the guests safe. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby for delivery, or dining in if that is your preference. ZERO complaints!
Loved everything about this place. Great staff working here, rooms are great for a family of 5. The minute you walk in the air smells clean and NOT in a fragrance way but in a good quality of air to breath in way. Their amenities were great! Many great restaurants near by including The Magic Time Machine, if you have kids is a must go.
My husband and I both really enjoyed this place. /All/ the staff were really nice. The housekeeping staff, in particular, cleaned our room despite my late-rising ways--which wasnt easy to arrange at other hotels in the area in the past. On that topic, I really appreciated how clean everything looked. The lobby has some really fun decor. Our room was a pleasure to come back to each day. Good AC, great layout on the one-bedroom suite (the bathroom connects to both the bedroom and the entry!), comfortable bed, full-sized fridge. The WiFi was hit-or-miss (it would disassociate very quickly), but thats really the only issue we had. Well be back.
I think someone in my party had a little difficulty at check in, but this was a mostly lovely stay. The room we stayed in was huge and very nice. I really liked that they had soap and shampoo dispensers mounted in the shower. The location is close to a lot of restaurants and was pretty nice. Its a little outside of downtown Dallas, but a nice easy trip to get there. We were there for a big college football game and a big, noisy, karaoke party broke out in the middle of the night, but I think it was handled wont m quickly enough.
This place would have a high rating and better review, but the fact that the two weeks I stayed there none of their security cameras were working. This place advertises that its a place with great security yet when the police department calls you on your case you filed, you find out that none of the exterior cameras work and your case is closed due to there lack of surveillance. I could have saved hundreds of dollars staying somewhere else, but with my job i pick security over everything. As a Hilton Honors member, I am very disappointed in the way the management has handled this incident so far. Unacceptable by Hilton standards
Great hotel, rooms are spacious, clean and its great to have a full fridge in the room for doing a bit of self catering. Also very handy to have crockery and cutlery in the room. Overall the Home2 brand has a relaxed modern vibe about it and Id happily recommend the hotels to anyone considering them. Theres plenty of options for restaurants within walking distance of the hotel or you can order in if you dont want to go out - great if youre a line female traveller who doesnt want to wander far in the evening.
Great for a night. soft buttery sheets (already placed an order for sheets!)We stayed in a king suite with a pull out. The pull out is slightly larger than a twin but not quite a full.Kitchen has a full sized fridge, dishwasher, and cookwear!. Second floor room overlooking the pool. Swimming pool looked fun, slightly loud until 10pm.Standard breakfast bar, coffee was a little weak for my taste. Excellent staff!!!! Very friendly helpful faces! 9/10 will stay again!
Went for a interview, although I didnt get the job it is a beautiful upscale hotel thats unfortunately kind of ducked off with lots of hotels surrounding it. However, it is nice on the eyes i really like this place. The staff is so sweet and any concerns you may have they address it right away! I love meeting new people, here, everyone you come in contact with has a nice vibe.
My stay here was amazing! I traveled her for business and stayed over one night. The stay was great! My room was clean and spacious. The sheets were sooooo soft. After a very long and busy day I really got a good nights rest. I was only there one night so I really didn’t get to use all the amenities but I enjoyed my stay! I definitely recommend!
On May 30, 2020, i was a quest at the location in Addison, Texas. I was attacked by a dog that belonged to a quest. The hotel staff did very little to help, even though i requested that 911 be contacted. The young lady that was attending the front desk took it upon herself to check if the dog was alright. In speaking with the desk clerk the following day, I requested a copy of the incident report. The young lady stated that no incidents had been reported for the day before. I explained that a dog belonging to a quest had attacked me on 5/30/20..the young lady contacted the employee working on the day of the attack. The employee admitted to not filing an incident report due to the guest in question having been a guest for the previous 30 days and was slated to stay an additional 30 days. I was contacted by Ms. Megan Moore with the Hartford Insurance company and informed that even though there was record and video of the attack, Homes2Suites was not responsible for any damages. I informed Ms. Moore that the hotel allows pets to stay but has no safety precautions in place, the staff is not properly trained and refused to call for help when asked. Ms. Moore asked what safety precautions might have avoided this incident. I informed her, maybe having pets on a short leach or may be having large dog breeds, such as the one that attacked me, wear a muzzle while in common areas. Ms. Moore informed me that the Hartford and Homes2suites didnt feel that those precautions would have prevented the attack and Homes2suites is not responsible for the incident. I feel that if the hotel allows pets to stay without any safety measures in place, it allows its employees to ignore a request for help due to the amount of time a guest has stayed or will be staying is not acceptable. I hate to think of what it may take for Homes2suite to actually take a dog attack serious enough to implement some safety measures.
The accommodations were absolutely fantastic. The facility is beautifully renovated like a welcoming home, the staff was top notch, from housekeeping to landscaping it all was well maintained and accessibility dining, shopping and entertainment was exceptional. The continental breakfast was a pleasant day starter.Eventhough we did not take full advantage of the rooms kitchen, it was a pleasant surprise to see a full fridge, dishwasher and all basic dishes. This is for sure the best place to stay for long weekends or even business trips, the options to prepare your own meals keeps you on budget and on your meal planning.A studio condo without the price tag!Guaranteed my next family home away from home.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Home2 Addison. The room was perfect for a 6 night stay with my family and the kitchenette/living area was extremely convenient. It definitely makes it more homely when your away for more than a couple of nights. There were a couple of cons however, the bathroom layout isn’t ideal with the large door taking up much of the bathroom space in front of the shower and our fridge seemed to make so much noise especially during the night! Those negatives aside everything else was great, the decor is modern, the bed is so comfortable and the furnishings are like new. The staff at reception are also friendly and helpful.
We stayed for over a week and had the absolute best hotel experience here! The staff is amazing from Vanessa, Ciara, Josh, Barbara, all the way to the sweet ladies from housekeeping. The breakfast was so delicious and always well stocked. The rooms were very affordable and beautiful. We were so thankful for their local shuttle service that allowed us to explore the area and shopping centers. I am a raving fan!
Spent one night here and found the hotel staff were courteous and efficient. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. This hotel is very conveniently located close to Dallas North tollway and off Beltline road behind a lot of restaurants so dining options abound! They provide basic complimentary breakfast with cereals, pastries, omelettes, teas and coffee. They have a gym with complimentary towels, 2 treadmills and free weights, the gym is also attached to the laundry area and has a view of the pool. one downside was I noticed was for my particular room, the door needed to be forcibly pulled shut all the way in order to lock otherwise it isn’t completely closed and can be opened easily. All things considered the hotel did meet my basic needs and I got value for my money.
From the moment we walked in it was a great experience! Ciara is wonderful and made us feel so comfortable! Rooms are immaculate and bed is extra comfy. The breakfast in the morning is great with many options to choose from. The location of the hotel is great! I will definitely stay here again! My new go to hotel! Oh and I cant forget the housekeeping staff they were all GREAT with beautiful attitudes!
Very nice establishment, love the decor.....very clean. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Love the location and the suite. I was bummed when I learned that they did not have a stove top in the suite but was happy to know you can get a portable one upon request. I will be back!
I stay here about once a month for anywhere from 4 to 10 nights. I like this hotel the best of all in the area. Just what I need, walking distance to my work and more restaurants than I could ever sample. Staff is great, the rooms are super clean and the bed is comfortable.
Overall the staff and environment was friendly. I had minor issues here and there. My biggest upset was there was a waiting list for cooktops. One of the main reasons I chose this location was to not spend as much money eating out. Also the internet that I paid for wouldnt connect to my iPad.
Honestly awesome. I would stay again. Only issue whatsoever was the shower was oddly complicated. May have been because we ended up in a handicapped accessible room. Breakfast was great with fruit and actual protein choices. Very clean, very stylish, very friendly customer service.
The reason for me selecting 5 for overall experience, at the time of check in my room was not ready, 30 minutes is what I was told by the front desk, after waiting 17 minutes, I was than told there was a room ready on the fourth floor, but the room on the 5th floor which is what I selected was not ready, which is understandable, I know situations may happen but after a long drive from Oklahoma city, I was ready to check in at 3:00pm not 3:30pm... breakfast was a very minimum selection, an rolled up egg, waffle or breakfast burrito, no bacon, scramble eggs, muffins, gravy & biscuit, of course I can go on and on.... the front desk agents had great customer service and welcomed everyone with a smile so that is a plus.
This is a good option for a spacious room, better than average free breakfast, free parking, plenty of nearby restaurants and close proximity to the toll road. They offered a coffee bar management reception one night, which was unique and cool. I think the overall management could be better. I was called by the office on the day of my arrival and after checking in online that they were overbooked and were shipping me to another hotel, but later told me that they were “pushing my reservation through”. This basically meant that I had to use the ADA room that had a wheelchair seat bolted to the tub and a ridiculously low bathroom mirror. The clerks at the front desk were also gone for ten plus minutes at a time and, when they were at the desk, frequently on their mobile devices. It was a good value considering what was being charged nearby, but you could save quite a bit driving further north to places like Frisco. I’d consider staying here again, particularly if I wanted to be within ten minutes of downtown Dallas and DFW and walking distance to local and chain restaurants.
After a vehicle break-down, tow into Abilene, car-rental to complete the trip for medical reasons, I arrived late in the evening. The nicest night manager in DFW was the bright spot of the entire day and went the extra mile to welcome me to the facility and area. Clean, accessible room with great amenities. LOTS of dining, etc. available nearby.
My husband and I, plus our two young children are currently staying here while our home is being renovated. Weve been pleased with the accommodations and service so far. Our room is spacious, modern, clean and the decor is up lifting. Were thankful to have found this hotel, renovations are stressful and this has place has made it a little easier!Katie Fleischer
This is an absolutely great hotel. It is brave New, it at least new feeling, the beds are great, it had a great kitchen and a ton of TV channels. The staff is extremely friendly, the are good places within walking distance. The only downside is that the breakfast is mediocre. If there was an embassy suites or this home 2 side by side, Id pick the embassy, but otherwise I would absolutely stay here again.
Stayed here for two weeks while on a work trip and I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and all of the staff who work here! The rooms are very homey, comfortable and clean. They have a small kitchenette which was very convenient for a long stay. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, and toiletries. The room also had lots of outlets and USB ports to charge your devices. Very convenient!Every morning the hotel provided breakfast which was very decent which had a variety of selections from waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, and more. Coffee in the lobby was available 24/7 which was actually surprisingly good in my opinion! They also had a small fridge shelf area where you could purchase snacks and alcohol, and a few travel sized toiletries. The hotel also provides laundry & dry cleaning services for an extra fee. But they do also have a laundry room if you wish to do laundry yourself. Its $.75 cents for the washer and dryer. You can purchase laundry soap and quarters at the front desk. The hotel also has a gym and an outdoor pool. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant but that is fine because the hotel itself is surrounded by a large variety of restaurants so you definitely will not go hungry! And last but certainly not least the entire staff at this hotel was AMAZING! Everyone here was an absolute delight to interact with. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The hotel has a shuttle where they will drive you anywhere for free within a 5 mile radius. A special shout out has to go out to Justin at the front desk and Ciara the general manager. Both of them are amazing at what they do and always so nice!I would highly reccomend anyone to stay here as this hotel was a great experience!
My family and I had two rooms and we stayed two nights. Very clean and you can tell that it’s a brand new hotel. Front desk staff were very nice and professional. The only problem I have is that on Saturday of my stay, I requested that both of my rooms be cleaned & for the sheets to be changed. For one of my rooms, the cleaning staff didn’t even change the sheets and neither bed was made up. I told the manager lady at the front desk and all she said was she will tell the housekeeping supervisor. Smh
Dallas Addison home 2 was awesome. Very well kept rooms with a small kitchenette. My issue with hotel/motels is cleanliness, and home 2 passes the test. The front desk staff were friendly, and very well trained. Polite would be an understatement. Loved the professionalism. The breakfast was very adequate. Three different juices, skim milk, several different yogerts, premade omelets, of course a variety of coffee and much more, but you get the drift. The location is awesome, directly in the center of just about any dining restaurant you might want within walking distance. With the time, worth the money. I truly dont think you will be disappointed.
Guest / Front desk service sets the example of customer SERVICE. JAY, Noticed I had a project with a sensitive timeline and facilitated details for my project off the cuff. This is exceptional client treatment. He didnt have to but did, which made a huge impact and got me ahead on my deadline. Any client projects in the DFW area will definitely have me and my colleagues consider this Hotel first. The suites are phenomenal too!!
Nice clean, spacious rooms. Ideally located lots of food joints, restaurants in the vicinity. Walmart is around a 10 minute walk. Convenience store just across the street. Rooms with microwave, dishwasher, large fridge. Laundry facilities at the ground floor. Clean cutlery in the rooms. Rooms cleaned very well every day.
I was a member of a bachelorette party and we all stayed in a single room. The sheets were soft, the tub was clean, when we asked for more towels they were delivered, and there was a sample room to spread out. The staff was friendly and we were in walking distance of several restaurants. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
Very nice hotel. Clean and modern. Nice size rooms (King and double queen). The curtain room divider serves its purpose for the price. Stayed for 4th of July 2019. As of this posting the hotel is only 2 years old. Its close to the freeway (1 block) near restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Great for familys and business. They are full set of dishes and cookware for the microwave. This hotel was designed for short term stays. If you want to cook on a stovetop checkout the Homewood Suites Extended Stay.
The staff was amazing here. I was here for a training and they all treated us like we were family. Your front desk agent, Alberto is top notch! He greeted us every time we walked past the desk and made it a point to have a conversation with us every day. Its front desk agents like him, that make it easy to travel. I am a manager at a hotel and would love to have a friend desk agent like Alberto! The hotel is new and the rooms are beautiful, but having staff that are as welcoming as Alberto really makes the difference.
Clean, comfortable, lots of parking, huge gym, newer hotel facility. Check out time is 11:00 am. I Wound up staying here due to some events I was attending nearby. Never tried home2suites. I was surprised how much attention to color design and layout this place has.. this place is similar to a studio apartmentThis place also has a good size laundry facility in the hotel to.Room...good size Id say about 300 SQ feet ...bed was nice and comfortable...WiFi - complimentary one.. pretty slow..I barely managed to get websites to load..wound up having to use my phone hotspot as a better alternative.Check out time is 11:00 am. This is the 1st time Ive ever come across this ever, so must only be a Hilton policy.Overall was ok stay but Ill be checking out other options in the future
Very clean and neat hotel. Spacious rooms & bathrooms. Has a kitchenette in the room so you can cook or keep food cold in the full size refrigerator. Employees were really nice. Great place to stay. Right in the heart of Addison on Beltline Road. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. I recommend this hotel for a great stay in Addison or North Dallas.
This hotel was fantastic from the time of my initial Facebook contact to reluctantly returning the room key.We stayed at this fantastic hotel from 17 July to 23 July in Room 411. When I was researching my booking I contacted the hotel via Facebook to make an enquiry about a late check out and received an immediate reply and the contact details of the GM to arrange the details. When I contacted Adrian again I received a fast response confirming the late check out could be arranged for a fee.The RoomOur room had two large beds, quality linen, a fully functioning kitchen with a full sized fridge (with freezer). The design is well done, as the whole wall is designed for benches and drawer and hanging spaces, and suitcase storage. Lots of USB charging ports in lamps and lots of power points. The hotel is very new, so the rooms are in perfect condition. The bathroom was spotless and my score for a good, hot shower is 10/10.The FoyerAgain, functional design with lots of lounges and desks and a small business centre with TVs mounted on the walls. Complimentary coffee, and a small market where you can purchase drinks and snacks and microwave heatable meals. The Pool & LaundryBeautiful outdoor pool which we used most days at is was 100F every day we were there. The Pool is located next to the laundry facilities, so is was very convenient to do some laundry while relaxing by the pool. The cost for the washers and dryers is 75 cents (I really think this service should be free- people arent going to abuse a free laundry service!)The BreakfastA complementary breakfast is served every morning in the lounge area. Lots of options, and kept stocked during the service period. Choices included cereal, waffles, toast, bagels and pastries, microwavable cheese and bacon rolls, hard boiled eggs, juice etc.The InternetThe complimentary internet did not work well for us, so when I needed to get some work done, I paid for the premium access ($4.95 per day) for a day. At night the complimentary access was poor, but during the daytime, it functioned better as there was obviously less demand on the limited service. My view is that a good, reliable internet connection is a basic requirement when staying in a hotel and should be complimentary. The StaffFrom my initial contact with Adrian, to each and every encounter I had with staff members, I always received friendly greetings, assistance when needed and a smile and a hi each time we returned to the hotel. This is a brand new, fantastically managed hotel, and I would highly recommend the Home 2 Suites Addison, The hotel and its surroundings are spotless, the rooms and well designed, functional and spotless, the elevators work well and the pool is beautiful. There is a local area shuttle bus, and the hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and places to eat. Thanks for having us Adrian - we had a ball!Show less
I have stayed at a lot of hotels, from $25.00 a night hole in the walls to $1800 a night palaces. Home2 caught me off guard. The place is immaculate, the staff top notch, and the room on par with places labeled as 4 star hotels. Before my stay I would have said that I prefer Embassy Suites when I travel, now I will say that I will start my search with Home2 Suites.
Just based on this experience I ended up booking a Home2 in Chicago and I plan to stay there for my birthday weekend in a few months. My family was celebrating for a belated Mothers Day and everything went off without a hitch from the great breakfast to the clean facilities to the polite service.Ill definitely stay again and were all looking for rooms for Kaboom town this July 4th.
Personally, Im a Hilton brand fan but I do have to say this hasnt lived up to my expectations. The rooms are clean, cleaner than most Ive seen. No bed bugs however I did see a few ants. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. You can literally feel the grooves in the mattress. I was informed that the home2 brand doesnt have complimentary items such as toothbrush or toothpaste. Staff seemed to be courtesy. The biggest disappoint though was the fact that these were some of the thinest walls Ive ever seen. I dont feel people were being obnoxiously loud ... I could hear full conversations, high heels walking back and forth, drawers being closed etc. As I said, Ive stayed at a variety of Hilton hotels throughout North America and this was by far the worst experience Ive had. I have previously stayed at home2 in other regions but feel completely let down after this experience. It does appear to be a new property I just hope this isnt the way of the future for Hilton. Are you staying a night or two? Itll work. Longer? You may want to evaluate the beds first.
Delise and Justin checked my husband and I in for our stay. They were extremely friendly and wished us a Happy Anniversary upon checkin! When arriving to our room, it beyond exceeded any expectations we had. So clean, modern design, has anything and everything we could need. The afternoon light cleaning was a happy surprise when we returned from lunch. I am very pleased with this hotel, and would recommend to any and all who come to Addison. I dont think its possible to get a better value priced stay for the quality provided. 5 stars for sure!
Myself and a group of other women stayed her for a bachelorette party and I must say our stay was amazing!!!! Phil at the front desk was very kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us. His customer service is by far the best Ive encountered in a long time. Thank you Phil for everything!!!

2022-01-19Such a fabulous hotel! It has a gorgeous lobby, clean, spacious rooms with kitchenettes. I loved the outside lounge area with a pool. Complementary breakfast with fresh coffee was delicious. A lot of free parking and millions of food options in the area made it a very convenient stay. The front desk was very responsive to all my needs. I will definitely book again.

2022-04-14Love this place! They make me feel right at home, especially the young lady on the morning staff. They are within walking distance of so many great restaurants and theres a comedy club across the street. They have a laundry room, a pool, a gym, outdoor tables as well as indoor tables, 2 computers for guest use, a daily morning breakfast bar & 24hr coffee bar. The room is very nice and cleaning staff is very respectful.Ignore the light problem in my pics, I realize I shouldve turned off my flash. Lol

2022-05-06Really nice and convenient place to stay. Rooms are huge and give you plenty of space to stretch out and unpack. Centrally located to tremendous shopping, dining, business areas. Clean environment, courteous staff, very affordable - everything you want for lodging. Will stay again my next business trip to Dallas.

2022-06-15The staff, room, and location were great. Breakfast was good- small omelettes, waffles, cold cereal, fresh oatmeal, muffins/toast/granola bars. It was walking distance to several restaurants. The gentleman that checked us in was very helpful. We enjoyed it!

2022-05-20I was overcharged on my stay. I clearly stated that I needed one room one night with pets and was quoted $176.27 then noticed my card charged $276.27. I called and was told if it’s noticed I have pets they will add $100.00. Well I told them upfront I had pets. I walked up to the counter with pets and nothing was said about an additional $100.00 pet fee. The bill was slid over to to sign with out the pet fee. I only discovered it after viewing my card statement days later. If you add on additional fees, just be upfront with it. The deception is unacceptable

2022-06-12Nice, newer, clean rooms. Really friendly staff and quiet at night. A bit difficult to find as its tucked away off main road but lends to a quiet stay. I would stay again!

2022-01-30The two stars is because the room is clean and neat .The lack of other three is for not having late check out at 9 am and the only attempt the customer service front desk lady offered to satisfy the customer needs was to offer me to pay for another night after stay for to nights already with Hilton properties.01/30/22Room317Thanks but no thanksPeople have zero customer service

2022-06-17Worst hotel service I’ve ever had. Stayed here for 2 weeks and they came to clean the room ONCE. I asked for the room to be cleaned another time and they ignored my request. Always have to go downstairs to front desk for EVERYTHING. Room is not properly stocked. I asked to get supplies to clean broken glass and they said they would send someone and never did. Had to clean the glass myself with a broom on CARPET. Worst staff ever.

2021-12-28After driving for over 6 hour, my family was told that the room we already paid for 2 day before was not available. The receptionist Dulce was not helpful at all and was very unapologetic for the mistake that was made, mind you this was the day after Christmas and no help from her at all, no smile no nothing…. This is actually my second bad experience with this hotel with the same problem our room was no longer available when we showed up, but we wanted to give them a second chance..and I regret that I did…Addison is a awesome place and I lived in the areas for over seven years..so anytime I’m in town I alway make sure I stay in the Addison area.. but as far as this hotel I will never ever come back to stay here and I will be telling other family and friends as well, I work very hard for my money and I don’t mind paying for anything but I will never stay anywhere that will just turn me away like Dulce did the day after Christmas…maybe management should reward her for being the rudest receptionist award because she was classic
