We bought the house Dec 2019 and chose Home team to be our pest control company. To be honest, the service is okay since we only had one time ants problem when we moved in, but I still decided to keep the routine service and make sure everything is good. I tried to cancel my service beginning 2021 since we didn t find any problem for almost a year, but for some reason they didnt cancel my service properly so I went for another year. Today, April called me for my routine service and I asked her if I can cancel the service since we dont have pest problem for one year and a half. She said it is okay since we dont have contract, she tried to explain to me if I want to cancel, next time if I want to get the service I need to pay all over again, I said I understand, then she said okay and hung up on me! So rude! I will never use this company again!
Carl was very willing to answer my questions and assist with all I needed. I hope to continue having this service from Home Team every time. It was great!!
My technician did a very good job. I am satisfied with the service that he completed at my home.

Travis and Rudy were great and they were both very personable. I randomly got a hold of them while they were out servicing other homes in my neighborhood and they added me to their list with no problem. I started seeing results immediately the next day. I highly recommend Travis and this company.
This is a great service. The salesperson was an excellent communicator and was not a pushy salesperson. Also the service was excellent when they came to my home. Quick and painless but very thorough. Also a fair price in comparison to similar services.

This is the only company that can use the in wall system so it seems like they feel they can treat you with disrespect. I was treated very poorly by both the sales representative and the person who came to my house. My husband wanted to utilize the in wall system is the only reason we still used them. At this time I cant say if the services are working as they did the first treatment yesterday.
Mike and his team are awesome! Moved into a new home and they were quick to get me on the schedule for pest control services. Technician Carlos was prompt and dod a great job explaining what he would be doing. Highly recommend.
Very nice and professional company and employees! We started pest control at our new house and they came by and sprayed around the perimeter of our house. They used a system to get between our walls. So far so good.
Exceeded all expectations by far. I did not expect him to actually clean the outside of my house. I didnt even recognize my back porch is was so clean. For years Ive fought the mess bugs make. Especially all the webbing. Hoses and brooms could never get the job done. Now, it looks like we just moved in. Absolutely amazing. And the pricing is more than fair. You can tell they take pride in their work. Cant recommend them enough!!!

My service was just yesterday, so I cant comment on the effectiveness at this point, but I can comment on the service. I believe my technician was named William and he was awesome. He called me 30 minutes before like I asked and let me know that he would be arriving close to 4PM which was the front of my time window. When I got home, he was ready and waiting. Ill say immediately that his customer service skills are excellent and might be one of the best service experiences Ive had, which is saying a lot since Im 46 years old.He explained in detail everything he was going to do and why and in what order. He talked about the types of pests he was noticing outside and told me about each type of product he was using and what steps I needed to take after application. He was very polite and courteous the entire time and even told me about his time with the company and how much he enjoyed his job. On his way out, he even asked me if customer service had mentioned a can drive that would lower the cost of his visit. They hadnt, so he explained it and I was able to get a discount. Great first experience.

Already so impressed by HomeTeam Pest Control! We stupidly used a different business for our combined pest control and lawn care needs and we’re hugely disappointed by them. HomeTeam has tackled all our pest control concerns without any problems! They sorted out our issues coming out of the poor service from the previous company and went above and beyond to make us feel confident that we won’t see those issues with them. And for the first time ever I actually saw a pest control tech do what they say they’re going to do (dust and sweep the eaves/windows!) and he spent so much time putting in detailed and focused effort to our property’s needs. And following their treatment we actually saw pests dying and not just more activity in the treated areas.We still have a ways to go for peat management as we are in a new build with construction still around us but again we are already so much more impressed with HomeTeam Pest Control that we are happy we made the switch to them!
We have been in our home for four years and this year we started having issues with spiders and ants. They scheduled me quickly, and the guy who came out was very professional and respectful. He answered all of our questions and did a great job. He was also great with our dog, and walked us through everything he was doing. They used plant based spray inside so we didn’t have to worry about any smells or our dog. Would highly recommend.
Their inwall injection system is a joke. They have no idea if it is even working.We had bugs and cobwebs everywhere.3 different technicians in a year and all were equally underwhelming.
Started quarterly pest control service today. Showed up right on time with the 30 minute notice they promised me. They were very professional and went over the contract and exactly what they would be doing today. After service they updated me in their findings and let me know when the next service would be. Very polite young men.
I called and was made aware of the services offered in a cheerful, clear concise fashion by Savannah. After agreeing to the terms an appointment was set promptly and Preston showed up for our initial decide early, was polite and informative and very efficient. I am glad to know that my new home will be better protected with this service in place.
They were the people partnered with our home builder which is how I heard of them. Its easy enough to knock down the wasp nest typically, so was on the edge about using them. Thought Id giveem a try since Ive had bug issues at previous apartments. The guy doing the service was really nice and professional. When he did his first time walkthrough not only did he take care of the issue I had told him about, but he found some other wasp nests that I had no idea were behind my fence posts. It was pretty fun watching him smack it off the fence with his wasp wacker and then joust the wasps away. Anyway they demonstrated expertise, so as much as I like DIY, I feel comfortable trusting my home with them and think their service is worth it for my home.

Overall, the experience I had with the transaction with HomeTeam Pest Control was effortless. From the beginning, working with Mike on the service agreement, there was no sense of “pressure” and it was a very positive experience. Once we ironed out the treatment plan for my situation, a technician (Eric) was at my property within days and politely walked me through the applications and the intent of them. Within minutes of the application, you could see the results and it was amazing to see how effective their treatment was. I was a little hesitant before going with HomeTeam Pest control, as I’ve always treated my property as a DIY’er, however I’m glad I made the decision and I look forward to working with this company for years to come.
Mr. Morrison was very responsive to my emails and many questions. He helped me get my account all set up and was never pushy about using the service. The tech, Preston, who performed my first service was thorough, on time and very professional. He also serviced the taexx bug system in my home.
I really like this company. I quoted two others. This company was by far the best when it came to service and professionalism. The pricing was good. They came out and the next day I started seeing a decrease in live bugs crawling in or around the house. I wish the mosquito treatment was a little more competitive but I can’t complain much. It’s, so far, a good company.
The initial service went smoothly. The tech was on time as well as gave a pre-visit call. He was courteous and explained what he was doing and was able to answer all of my questions as well as give me the schedule of follow on visits and charging.
I am very happy with the thorough service provided by HomeTeam. I actually signed a 12 month contract with another company for a cheaper price and very quickly regretted the decision. I signed back up with HomeTeam the moment my contract with the other provider was up. Although the price is a little higher, it’s well worth it for the great service provided and no more bugs!!

Highly recommend - wonderful service! Everytime I call they go out of their way to get me an appointment that works for my schedule. They are so friendly and professional. I had my initial pest control service done with Home Team Defense this week. William did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and professional. A great job!
They did the general pest preventative control, as far as I know. They use the TAEXX system, and its my first time using this system, so Im excited. So far, Ive noticed several dead spiders around the base of the home, including one black widow. I left it there as a test case to see if the treatment was effective (I discovered it the day before and left it to see what happened after the treatment), and it was dead the next day. Paying for peace of mind is nice, but its nicer when you see the product work, which it did!

We opted for the quarterly service plus the additional 30 day follow up based on Larrys recommendation and his assessment of our pre-existing pest problemwith ants and other bugs. I asked the technician about mosquito services and told me that they were not available. Ive been bitten over 15 on my hands, legs, and face. Im spraying off on the walls trying to get rid of the mosquitoes inside my newly built home. I have asthma and I have had to use my inhaler more because of inhaling the fumes.

Had been happy with them, didnt have many issues with bugs. When we did wed call and theyd come out and treat. I canceled the service because we were moving, and they started calling to ask us to restart services. Weekly, and a couple times daily. When I finally got irritated and said to stop harassing me, I got an excuse about the system not updating to show calls had already been made, then they stopped calling. Then a month or so ago, they called saying they were coming out to treat. I figured it was a mistake. Came home one day to find an invoice on the door. THEN they charged the card Id had on file with them when we were using them! I called to get it refunded and had to argue with the lady that Id canceled months ago. Finally she agreed but this is why I only gave them 2 stars.
Very disappointed. I was looking forward to using this company as I recently purchased a new construction home equipped with their Taexx tubes, and had read positive reviews. I will say that the initial contact/phone consult with the sales rep was positive and helpful, but that has been my only positive experience. The actual service technician assigned to us has been arrogant and abrasive from the beginning. But my personal biases aside, every time he’s come out, he’s shown up unannounced with no prior text or call as promised with no acknowledgment or apology. He’s missed major issues in plain sight and then promptly leaves without making contact at the end (even when we’re home). I’ve called and left multiple voicemails at the local office now and no one returns calls. I’ll be switching to another pest control company.
Love HomeTeam business. Travis called and explained what HomeTeams business does for homes. Eric came to my home and explained about the areas that would be treated and how long the treatment last. Once Eric finished he told me about a wasp nest that he sprayed on my fence and that the treatment would keep pest out of my yard for months. HomeTeam is a very professional business and I look forward to doing more business in the near future.
Every step of the process from inquiring about the service to the tech coming out and working on our house was very pleasant. The sales person wasnt pushy and answered all my questions. I love our techs we have had for the past 4 years, however when you actually need someone to come out it takes an average of 4-5 days to get someone to come out to treat. I have kids and it’s not acceptable when you pay the amounts they charge quarterly. And the representatives aren’t the best as well.
Have had a great experience with Home Team and especially Larry. Weve used them since we moved into our new house a year and a half ago. We appreciate that he texts us the day before he comes to let us know hes coming and asks if we have any concerns. Anytime weve had new bugs appear, we call and let them know and they schedule is in promptly. Larry is very attentive and friendly even when the kids get in the way. Mr Carl is the most professional and polite person I have ever come to meet and deal with when it comes to protecting my house from pests. He will take the time to explain what he is doing and why and what he is putting down in the yard/around the house so I know that my dogs will be safe. Had my first visit and went as they stated. The gentleman arrived 20 minutes after his call and was very professional and went over the entire process. When he was finished he let me know he was leaving and would be back in 30 days for follow up. I could not ask for more.
I just built a brand new house in the basswood crossing subdivision. Hometeam had a pest control system installed during the build process. So I was excited to try their service. I was quoted 99$ on the phone and they also gave me my first fire ant prevention service for free as part of a promotion for signing up. The giys shows up and wants to charge me 200$ for both services i explained thenpromotion and said i fi take the free service off i could get the price down to99. THEN ITS NOT FREE IS IT? talked with the sales lady on the phone spoke to a manager manager didnt do anything. Poor way of doing business. Unprofessional on the phone. She even hung up on me when i explained to them they would be loosing a customer for life for not honoring their own special. This company tells you something they are lieing through their teeth.

Very reliable service, consistently good notifications before the technician comes out. We dont even have to think about pest control. We (somehow) got ants in our car during a trip to south Texas in mid-2018, so HomeTeam came to our house and treated it with a self-contained liquid bait module (no fumigation or sprays) that we easily removed a day or two later. No more ants!, and they didnt even charge anything because were already on the routine treatment plan. Theyve come out a couple times to get rid of wasp nests, and again no extra charge. Not only is worrying about bugs a thing of the past, but also they dont nickel and dime us. Nice!

The home Team Pest Defense team were all very professional and handled my issues in a timely manner, I had Ants in my house and after talking with the technician Preston he suggested what would work best and went above and beyond helping with our issue and now we have no ants thanks to everything he did.

All the guys were very professional, polite, on time, and accommodating. Also the guy that came to spray the house wore shoe covers so that he didn’t bring in dirt or chemicals into the house. I love when companies go that little extra step to show they care and think about there customers.
William G. Did a great job in servicing our new home. He found fire ant mounds and destroyed them. Took the time to clean spider webs around the house and used our TAEXX system to spray within the walls.
Everything went well...fast and efficient. Its only been a few days so Im not sure if all the bugs are completely gone. I would have given 5 stars, but it had been raining and the gentleman did not wear shoe coverings when he entered my home.

I love the price, customer service, appointment availability and tech interactions.UPDATE: 6/23/2021 (from 5 stars to 1 star)- Im wondering why I pay for a termite contract, yet I have to pay a different company to provide me a WDIR (Wood Destroying Insect Report) when selling my home? Is Home Team Pest Defense not licensed to fill out this form? If not, how are they licensed to write these contracts? This is basically (but on a government form) saying my home was inspected for termites and theres no past or present signs of damage. Ill be making a call to Rollins, Inc. corporate office in the morning about this. Im sure they can explain why a company they purchased years ago is licensed for one part but not the other.

Everything was fine until the tech servicing my neighbor house decided he would steal one of the covers to one of my termite stations, and put it on my neighbors. This happened on the 7/25 at 4:32pm a Monday per camera.I called in the next day to report the incident and see if I could get the cap replaced. At which time I was told that someone would talk to the thief and that they could not get anyone to come replace it until two weeks later (8/12). If this is there only availability I have to except right, so I did. Then I made one request, I asked if they could make sure the tech they sent out wasnt the same guy that stole the cover. She then informed me that thats exactly who it would be. Frustrated with the entire situation I accepted the appointment and got off the phone.Two weeks past and the day finally comes, but no one shows neither calls.
I just purchased a home with the built in home team defense so I decided to try them out and I couldnt be happier. Had some ants coming into the house and Jeff came out and treated the home, explained what he was doing and was very professional and courteous. When he got to the back yard he noticed our kids toys so instead of trying to spray Poisen all over or just not treating the back at all, he went back to his truck and got a different product thats activated when it hits water so when my sprinklers came on at night the yard would get the treatment.Couple weeks later the ants were back (not inside the home this time) they were under the down spouts from the gutters. Called Jeff and let him know and within a couple days he was out and taking care of the issue and was still just as respectful and courteous. I would recommend them for sure to anyone.

The technician that came out each time(Larry) was friendly and very helpful - I had a few questions and he answered and took care of all of them. I have attempted to get a quote from this company 4 or 5 times in the past 3 days, and have yet to hear back from them. Ive even tried the text feature on their site, as well as calling their company. At around 10am 10/03/19 I was told that I was going to receive a call from one of their reps and I never received the call. The only reason I keep trying with them is that they are the only ones who can connect to the apparatus on the outside of my home. I am very disappointed in their lack of professionalism. Unfortunately you cant put zero stars.
Paid almost $250 for service was supposed to come out twice only came once and still having pest issues… do not recommend using this company at all
Larry has treated our house for quite some time and has done a great job. Hes very good about letting us know hes coming and is always more than willing to address any issues were having.
Hometeam is the BEST in DFW hands down! This is my 4th pest control servicer this year in Ft Worth due to lack of service and unkept promises. Hometeam is my final stop because they keep their word and dont try to get over you. They fix the problematic pests and dont charge you extra for repeat service if the bugs are eradicated. They are professional through and through from the salesman to the follow-up coordinator.
Very reliable have a little rodent issue after first treatment but the came right back out and took care of it. Also i stopped using them for a while and went right but to them because i had the best experience with them.
HomeTeam Pest Defense is reliable, on time, always contacts us a day before treatment, and provides great performing products. They are willing to work their client and are friendly.
I wish all service techs were half as courteous, personable and professional as Larry. Please recognize this employees exceptional skills. In my opinion, this man should be in a supervisory position training others to conduct business as well as he does.

I did not receive a report like I normally do. I do not know what was done to my home or the status of services performed. My pest control rep did not stay longer than 10 mins (typically much longer). For the amount I pay, I have doubts this service is worth it.

Love that this vendor wears cloth booties over their boots! Would highly recommend this service provider.Salesman Zach was equally amazing. 2022-02-10Jamie was my technician. He took plenty of time to answer my questions and explain what his plan of action was and how the products work. He walked around the house and showed me different things to be mindful of and pointed out simple tips I could do on my own. I had a few specific concerns, so Jamie came inside and addressed them, taking his time and being very thorough. He kept me updated throughout the visit of what he was doing and why. When I first called HomeTeam to inquire about services, the receptionist was very nice answering my questions. She answered what she could, then when I was satisfied, transferred me over to a sales rep. The sales rep’s name was Zack. He, too, was very professional and was patient with me answering all my questions about pricing, services, etc. and working with my schedule. He answered questions about products used as well. So far, I’m pleased with the quality of customer service all the way around. I hope to be able to update my review to reflect how well the products work in the future and hope the next tech that comes out next time is just as attentive to details as Jamie was.

2022-05-12I have to share the INCREDIBLE experience I just had with HomeTeam, specifically their sales manager Chris.I called with a concern about termites in my pier and beam home - Chris called me back within the hour, listened to my story and spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone with me actually EDUCATING me on termites, what to look for, how they act and the different processes for treatment. Even more impressive was the fact that he did all of this after he knew I needed a service that he could not provide!!Chris professionalism was refreshing and I cannot express my gratitude enough.

2022-02-09This was an amazing company. They had the TAEXX system, seems like a good thing. Time will tell, but their prices are good and the tech was nice and professional. I plan on using them for the foreseeable future. They do have a feature, that you can do free re sprays if you see bugs in between the quarter spray.

2021-10-28We recently moved to Texas and bought our home. We wanted to make sure that we could find a pest control company who would be thorough and reasonably priced. We were referred to this company and we are very happy. Carlos was super thorough inside and outside and very knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions and he had answers he also gave us tips to ensure no pests get into our home. Super pleased the job!
