I ordered food to be delivered. I ordered kids chicken lo mein, general tsos chicken, and a Thai iced tea. The service was incredibly fast, but the food wasnt as good as Id hoped. I felt like there was too much sauce, and the chicken was too chewy. The Thai tea was a bit too sweet. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons, and while Im not sure Id order again, I think it is a place you should check out.EDIT: I decided to try again, and there was no rice included even though on their website it says that it is included. Maybe its because I ordered on Uber, but its still a bad different than other Chinese restaurants.
Service is super fast and food quality is great. They have an option of ordering food online via their website which is cheaper than using the food delivery app. Delivery is free if your order is above 10$ BUT they charge an extra 5$ if your location is beyond 5 miles which isnt mentioned anywhere on their website.Location is wheelchair accessible. Staff are friendly but it was difficult to get recommendations from them on whats good or based on taste.
The best thing about this restaurant is the Specials menu. Anything from either the Thai or Chinese specials menu is gold, and well worth the extra couple of bucks. I eat off it for four meals. Compliments to the chef as everything tastes fresh to order. My husband and I agree the chef has a magic touch with fish and other meats, but ESPECIALLY the buttery, flaky fish that melts in your mouth. Even the delivery driver loves to deliver our food because he states we know what to order and it smells great in his car each ride over.
We came here for buffet but there was no buffet so the chicken teriyaki was burnt and dry the ginger fried fish with veggies came to me in a soup the fish was soggy and slimy and very spicy 🌶 and I like spicy but could not eat it 😞and my husbands beef with veggies was also to spicy 🌶 for him would not be going back here.
I order from here regularly for delivery and it is extremely good everytime. However, tonight, the food was so hot and fresh it literally burnt my tastebuds. On a DELIVERY!! And we live all the way in South College Station, so it’s not a short drive.Extremely impressed and satisfied with the food.
This was my first time and I wasnt expecting a lot at this price range but it turned out to be really good. We got a take out of mongolian chicken, singapore noodles, mapo tofu and chicken dumplings. Every one of those dishes was great and very reasonable price. The service was great too.
Meat was dry, possibly reheated. I didnt see a single scallop in my rice and only 2 shrimp. The rice was too soft and soggy and the chicken in it tasted old and had a rubbery texture. The crab puffs were gross, the filling was hard and dry. I cannot believe I spent 40 dollars on dinner here and didnt like anything. Never again. Dont waste your money here.
First of all the hot & sour soup was good but wasnt at proper temperature. Then I ordered Mongolian beef & asked for extra sauce & they brought about 1/4 cup sauce so I had to ask for more. The meat was overcooked & dry & very salty on a bed of white crispy noodles. My husband asked for extra sauce for his general tso chicken & didnt get it until he asked again for it. He also asked for extra jalapenos & the waitress claimed there were extra jalapenos in there which there wasnt!!! I told them about the Mongolian beef being overcooked but I still had to pay for it so I took it with me. So since I couldnt eat the Mongolian beef I ordered Happy Family. That too was to salty. Other than that it was otherwise good. I will not be returning to this place again. I swelled up so bad from the little bit of food I did eat because it was way to salty. I hope others have a better experience than my husband & I did.
Very good! We came in late, about 20 minutes before closing they were just as friendly and willing to prepare our to go order as if it were dinner time. The food was fresh, hot and delicious! Very reasonable priced especially for the size of the orders! We will most definitely be going back! Finally found a good Chinese Restaurant!
If you haven’t tried this place, you really should. As I sit eating leftovers from last night, I’m reminded of how great this place is. Some friends of ours took us there last night and we were not disappointed. All of the “American“ Chinese food is better than several other options in town. However, the real stars of the show were things I never would’ve ordered. We had the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken as things we already knew, but I was absolutely blown away by the pig tripe with chili sauce, spicy salt shrimp, and the tofu with streaky pork. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for more authentic Chinese food. We will definitely be going back.
We ordered the happy family dinner plate the meat was bland and fried rice left a lot to be desired. We also ordered the sweet and sour shrimp the shrimp was hard and chewy the breading was hard I had to break pieces off in fear I would cut my mouth. The egg rolls were dark brown and over fried in my opinion. The crab puff was actually a crab ragoon but again was over fried and hard with no where near enough crab stuffing. Horrible meal! We will not return.
We order from here a lot. Its really good. The only issue I have is that my order was wrong tonight. Im vegetarian so I dont eat meat or eggs. Im also deathly allergic to shellfish so I asked it not be prepared around any. I was told by the girl on the phone they dont have shellfish. I ordered vegetable fried rice with no egg. Well, I was delivered chicken fried rice...with eggs in it. When I called back, the girl said, oh I thought you said chicken. Never offered to make it right. I had to throw it out.
Someone on NextDoor recommended this place for how yummy and inexpensive it is.Ive not been disappointed ever and have had 11 deliveries and 2 dine-ins since February 2020.Ive ordered nearly everything and not 1 item would I not order again. My only ugh is how salty it can be. Anything I dont prepare myself is gonna be salty, but still, a few of my peeps state they LOVE the yumminess of everything I order and share but say they can only have something once every few months with me due to the salt. Ive hypernatremia, thus I need the salt, but could definitely be happier without it
While I’ve ordered from here before multiple times and had sub par food, tonight when I ordered I got food poisoning. I ordered egg rolls, low mein, and sweet and sour chicken. About 20 minutes into my meal, I got violently sick. I called the restaurant and told them what I had ordered and what had happened, and they said that no one else had complained, so they don’t know which item it was that made me sick, so they couldn’t help me. I wasn’t looking for my meal to be comped, but it would of been nice to not pay for food that made me sick. The reason I am giving one star is because they didn’t apologize and acted completely clueless as to why I got sick. I hadn’t eaten anything in hours, hadn’t had any alcohol drinks, and felt completely fine before eating so I know that it was their food.
Pleasantly surprised! This place is easy to overlook, but definitely worth a try. Its probably our favorite take-out Chinese place now. All the food we tried was more authentic than what you usually get at Chinese places in the US. We had the Kung Pao chicken, spicy deep fried chicken, and Pla-Sam-Rod, along with Tom Kha soup, pork dumplings, and lo mein noodles. The kung pao was great - it wasnt sweet like the Americanized kung pao I usually get. The texture would probably be better getting it fresh in the restaurant since the moisture in the to-go container container makes it a little soggy. The Pla-Sam-Rod and spicy deep fried chicken were both really good too. Watch out for the bones in this chicken dish - thats the traditional way to make it!The soup was a bit of a downer and the dumplings were dense, but mild on flavor.Good quantity for the price, pretty good quality, great taste - 4 or 4.5 out of 5
First time there and I will NEVER go back!! Order Cream Puffs, Steamed Rice, supposedly Beef & Broccoli but I never got the Beef. Called them to let them know, they hung up on me. I drove ovee there to confront them and he said I didnt say I wanted beef, in which I did. He blamed it on him being Chinese that he couldnt understand me. I told him money is green and our blood runs red, I didnt care what ethnicity he was, I wanted my money back. Since I ate one and half of a cream puff(comes with 4), he charged me 1 for that! Unbelievable!! I was very angry at the fact that he hung up on me and never bothered to apologize for the misunderstanding. He told me to get out of the store due to my persistence of my money. I hadnt even planned on going there but the place I usually go to was closed. I will Never go back.
Do not pay your delivery driver until you check your food. I ordered from them and got the food delivered. I didnt check the food until after the driver was already long gone. When I checked I discovered that I was missing 1 order of fried rice and the pancakes to go with the moo shu chicken. Called them up to get the items and the delivery driver said he doesnt want to drive back out, that its to far. I live about 7 minutes from the Chef Caos 2. Then he also tries to claim that he was pretty sure that everything was in the bag pretty much calling me a liar. I will never recommend this place to anyone again and will never purchase from here if this is what their customer service is like.
I ordered the mongolian beef, sweet n sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and crab puffs. Their prices are very cheap and I was hoping the food was decent enough to warrant the prices. Sadly they are not the mythical cheap and good food establishment we all look for. I would happily pay more and get something eatable.
The food was bland and greasy, which is not totally unexpected, but my boyfriends chicken was clearly not fully cooked, and when we explained this we got blank stares. They did take his dish off the check, but still, not worth returning. Entering the restaurant just gives you a slimey feel.
I went to meet my mother for lunch. I had already taken my granddaughter to whataburger for her passing to 9th grade meal and I had a drink in hand. I walked to this restaurant with drink in hand not thinking about not taking in. We had been sat down waiter said nothing to me about the cup I set on the table but waited for my 77 yr old mother to begin serving herself to scold her for my thoughtlessness. She was so embarrassed at being told this at the buffet line with others listening. I did not see this or he the waiter would have gotten more than this review. Dont abuse the person not at fault but tell the person you have a problem with. Mom loves this place but is now looking for a friendlier place to go for Asian food.
Got there @ 1:30 for lunch and only half the buffet had food. Got about 1/2 a plate and waited for more food to be brought out. 15 minutes later I asked if fresh food was being prepared. I was told that they close @ 2:00. There were still 17 customers in the resturant. At 2:01 the staff finished off the buffet. Even with the complaint I was still charged full price! I wont be back!!!
Ordered online and an hour later called to check on our order they then say they just got it and it will be 30 mins. So we finally get our food and it wasnt worth the wait. It was edible but has to be the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. First time and last time eating here, huge waste of money.
Ordered the pad Tai Togo. And oh my gosh. The absolutely worst thing I have ever had in my life. I understand that take out Chinese isnt the best, but this pad tai is horrific. The noodles and chicken are covered in a mysterious Orange paste and has no smell or taste that even resembles pad tai. Please avoid. For your stomach sakes. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
5 stars because they know how to make it legitimately spicy, nowhere else is town goes as hot as they do Ive tried. If youre looking for traditional, this one is only American Chinese food but they are fast, well priced, friendly and have multiple TVs and a projector for game days.
The food was ok the spring rolls had a funny taste and the Shanghai rolls were mush inside with the same flavor as the spring rolls like the inside of a fridge was in your mouth not a good taste but the bubble tea was good they were out of boba and the place was empty at dinner time I was the only customer not a good sign
Got a to go buffet today and it was okay until i started feeling sick when i went in to get the food no one was in front to greet me it seems as if they were short staffed not much to choose from on the buffet and the little bit of food i did get was way over priced egg rolls are disgusting !! For me this place is a no go 👎👎👎👎

2022-07-27These are suppose to be crab puffs…where’s the filling, what is this?! I am so upset that this isn’t the first time this has happened and that it’s happened so much so that I’ve gone out of my way to leave a review. Don’t waste your money here. I hate to say it. Last time it was an issue with the rice, before that it was the chicken. Inconsistent.

2022-08-16Great staff. Fresh food. The place could use a little makeover but I’d definitely come here again if given the opportunity. Ps the lunch special until 3pm is only 799

2021-12-04We were super excited about trying a new Asian cuisine place in town. We put in a online order which was simple and easy. Got to the restaurant and wait for 3 minutes and our food we brought to us promptly. The lady at the door was so kind and eager to let me know it was going to take just a moment to complete our food. I ordered the pud Kee mow, and it was incredibly delicious. My wife oredered the general tao chicken which was also really good. My son orders the honey glazed walnut shrimp which he really enjoyed. If you go make sure you get the chicken dumplings, some of the best I have had in a long time. Will definitely be returning.

2022-08-14I got pad thai w/ chicken and spicy deep-fried chicken. They are amazing!! In my opinion, this is the best chicken dish I got in chinese restaurant. What I imagine when I look at the dish name. It looks intimidating with all the peppers but not that spicy. Just enough to make every bites enjoyable. Pad thai is good too with right amount of acidity and generous amount of chicken. Portion, price, taste, everything good. 🤗

2022-04-18Their system had an error and they had to call and make sure my delivery was okay to charge their $4 delivery. That’s fine…but what’s not fine is the serving size and how I got DRY chicken vs the honey walnut that I ordered. There was a slight watered down glaze but had no flavor at all. Just fried dry chicken chunks. Pretty disappointed for a $17 meal for one person

2020-12-19Food is better than most of the other Chinese takeout options. Prices are great too! Lunch specials range from $6-8. They also have more traditional dishes, such as the Singapore style rice noodles, that other restaurants in this area do not offer.
