Did not have a good experience! Table rocked, did not have stuffed shrimp even though it has it on their website and on their menu, charged us for tater tots and onion rings even though it said it comes with the meal. Food was ok but the waitresses seemed overwhelmed. They also charge more if you pay with credit card. Not impressed at all.
A very nice and clean restaurant. Received a warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details in to please you. Not only was the food delicious it was very fair on pricing. The service given was always with a smile and everyone was very patient with us. The atmosphere was very family oriented as well which I loved. In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to go eat there, do not hesitate! We can’t wait to go back!
This is the worst service Ive had at any restaurant. The servers were all teenage girls that had no clue about how the food was prepared. All they did was stand around and giggle and ignore you the whole time. You literally had to get up and ask for help when you needed it. They couldnt comprehend nor answer some basic questions about the food. I dont know what happened to this place. It has gone terribly downhill with the new management. Also know manager was on site. It will be a very long time before I venture here again.
What a sad day. I dont know what has changed, I suspect a change in ownership. This used to be one of the best kept secrets. We were looking forward to a great motorcycle ride and dinner, and we received mediocre food and absolutely horrible service. We werent the only ones, the table next to us was complaining as well. This really is sad... The wonderful lady who was there before took such pride in their home made sauces and took pleasure in serving you. I could go on, but wont and will not be back.
This was the first time my husband and I have eaten here and trust me they didnt dissappoint. We ordered the Tropical Storm Burger and it was the single best burger we have ever eaten. Thank you ladies for your hospitality and we will definitely be back. Give them a try you wont regret it.
This is an absolute hidden gem. We discovered this restaurant after spending an afternoon photographing birds at the (relatively) nearby and lovely Anahuac Wildlife Refuge and were just amazed. Located along Double Bayou and adjacent to Beason Park in tiny Oak Island its a lovely setting that I can imagine folks must flock to during the summer season. The restaurant itself boasts wonderfully friendly and efficient staff and the food was just simply amazing. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and was stunned when the dish arrived as the chicken was absolutely massive. Hand-battered and perfectly crispy, it was juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection. I eat chicken as my protein probably more than 80% of the time and Ive eaten it all over the US and in various other countries in a variety of ways. This was easily one of the top five best pieces of chicken Ive ever had. Served with a generous dinner salad, green beans, delicious black pepper cream gravy, buttery mashed potatoes (that were bomb as well,) and thick Texas toast for just $12.99, it was also a truely great value. My fiance had the fried shrimp platter and was equally surprised and pleased. And everything else on the menu looked amazing at a fantastic value. This is definitely a restaurant we are already recommending that friends and family make the drive to visit. Its well off the beaten path but if you enjoy amazing hand-made food at good value and in a relaxing setting, load up the car and go seek out Hurricane Titas.
Nice place! Very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful, reasonably priced and exceptionally high quality meat in the burgers. Its a little off the beaten path along the coast of the bay in Anahauac but if youre in the area well worth a visit.
Called in and Ordered two Pizza and one Hamburger keep in mind I live 20 minutes away. The lady on the phone took order and said it would be 45 minutes. Went to pick order on time order never turned In lady at counter no mask cook no mask. They told me my order would be another 25 minutes after 5 minutes went buy they came out to tell me the had only on one pizza.I asked for a manager, no manager on duty asked about owner a Mexican lady came from back where the food was being prepared no mask couldn’t speak English had a younger girl translating for her said they could not do any thing and would not give the managers name. Terrible service the owner needs to clean house worst experience ever.Keep in mind this is in a Pandemic and the cooks and waitress not wearing mask. Health department were are you?
We liked this place regardless of some of the reviews on other sites. Yes the service is slow but youre not in downtown Houston or at a nameless chain restaurant. The fried green bean apt was wonderful and we all.enjoyed our fried shrimp and.oysters. the beers were cold and the Texans preseason game was on. Clean bathrooms and a courteous staff.
We went down there was told the food was really good..That was the worse seafood we have ever had!! Some of the food was over cooked an some was under cooked! Our dinners got to the table cold. The best part of my meal was the glass of tea an going outside an watching the fish jumping the water. Will never go back!

2022-03-27Food was delicious and my wife and I dined on the patio overlooking the port which was nice watching boats going and coming through while cracking jokes about the No wake sign, taking pictures, and enjoying sharing a large plate of food and a glass of sweet tea.

2022-04-26The food overall was pretty good. I had some shell still on my shrimp for my shrimp taco and the crayfish was a little overpriced, but it was still decent.

2019-10-27Came in with a large group and everyone agreed on not liking it. Some parts of the food was really good but most of the food didnt get ate. That combined with bad service just made it not a good visit. The best part was it did have nice seats on the water.

2019-05-20Nice enough people and good location with alligator swimming around for good entertainment. Food was mostly good except we called the day before to make sure there was crawfish and drove 40 miles to find out the crawfish cook was sick. So we opted for the seafood combo and all was good except the stuffed crab was clearly burnt. Any restaurant knows, dont send out bad food when you Know its not right. May go back sometime. Maybe...

2019-05-07Joni Mae was our fantastic server! She answered all of our questions and took very good care of us! The food was outstanding, we pigged out on spicy crawfish, humongous peel and eat shrimp, deliciously fried shrimp dinner and their fried jalapenos, onions and mushrooms! Next time, I want to try their fried pickles! Will definitely be back! If you havent tried this restaurant, go check it out!

2021-08-18My review is solely based on my first time visiting: We walk in and see all the tables were at up for an aparent large party ready to celebrate their special event. We walk in and the waitress Raquel tells us that they are currently booked and the wait will be past 45 minutes. Disappointed we decide to look around. While outside Raquel mentions to us that she is going to serve us since the party is waiting for all their family and friends to arrive. We order our food and Raquel servers it a few minutes later. The burger was delicious with the in house meat patty, my Philly cheese steak sandwich was perfectly cooked with the veggies not over cooked. The fries and onion rings also were cooked to perfection. I and my wife will definitely continue to come so long as our new found customer/restaurant relationship continues to flourish🙂. Cant wait to come back!
