I was very excited to go to this museum because the balance of science and Christianity is enthralling to me. The museum is beautiful and mostly very well done, but there are some very specific claims that are not supported by any other dichotomy of science - like suggesting there were dinosaurs on Noahs arc. Even if this was meant for shock or to be cute, a child will take this as fact since this place is presented as a science museum. There are also some interesting claims about dragons that I had never heard before that might be true but there isnt a lot if any scientific evidence presented to validate their claims. We purchased some books for our children and wish we hadnt. The Guide to Animals book does a great job by pointing to God has the Creator but then will try to refute evolution and Darwin by saying animals cant turn into other animals - which is true but not what Darwinism or evolution suggests. Also, the museums general disregard for climate change and global warming denial is ridiculous. Our kids are too young to know how to recognize half-truths, and the science is not solid enough to teach them as truth. We will be throwing the animal book away, and if asked, give our honest opinion about the museum. That is just what this is - my opinion. Im a Christian theologist and mom trying to raise my kids to love Jesus and have a solid biblical understanding of the world but also not being laughed at if they say dinosaurs were on the arc (because it is laughable). Visit the museum, but be smart, think about these claims that are not supported by any other scientist besides the ones working at ICR, and dont just believe everything you see.
Top tier quality information and presentation! We went to the 4 oclock show and only had 35 mins to finish the exhibit. We were refunded in full for not having the time to experience everything. Great and friendly staff with the heart to serve. Will definitely be back to get the full experience!
ICR Institute for CREATIONISM research, this is a RELIGIOUS place. If you are into Noah carrying dinosaurs in the arc and the Earth being six thousand years old, and if you would like to be presented with arguments and biblical verses supporting these believes and arguing that mainstream scientists are wrong, then this is a great place. The exhibits are beautiful and very well put together, they are Perot Museum level of quality. The place actually looks like the Perot Museum except this place is smaller and the subject matter is diametrically different. The people that work (or volunteer?) in this place are extremely pleasant, smiling, and helpful. I believe that the fact that this is a religious place should be made more conspicuous as I figured it out when I was already inside the exhibits with my kids and tickets for the planetarium and everything. We found it in Google Maps labeled as a museum with dinosaur pictures and I wrongly assumed this was just a regular childrens museum.
This is a Truly exciting scientific experience. This organization is 50 years old and recently built a multimillion$ multi-fascited display of the Earths formation, Biblical flood, and recovery - in Dallas,Cant see it all in one visit.People should take the time to consider real science.
Top marks for science-fiction or science-satire; you’ll laugh until you cry. Unfortunately, I have to remove points for denying accurate evolution and climate change, as well as the scientifically proven age of the earth (4.54 billion years) because misinformation is harmful to society. How anyone keeps a straight face working here I’ll never know. Cool mammoth, though!
We were very excited to visit the ICR. Being a Christian family it was awesome to visit a place with no evolution. They are very open-minded sharing science and the principals from the Bible. We loved the surprise element we encountered walking into each room! The dinasours were just awesome and we all were creeped out by the snake in the garden of Eden. we went with three small children so we were not able to read all of the information from each of the exhibits. I have a feeling as they get older that would be something we will really enjoy doing. The prices in the gift shop are very reasonable and the restroom were exceptionally clean. This is an expensive venture if you have a large family, but now days every thing you do is expensive. I did feel it was worth the cost. We all wish it had been longer just because it was so awesome.
I was definitely skeptical. Im also fairly cheap so spending $18 am adult was something I wondered about. We went for the 1 year celebration. It was so cool! The animatronic dinosaurs are amazing! My 3 year old was scared though. We didnt stay for the planetarium because it was sold out. Walking through, there are talking paintings, beautiful movie clips and large screens. Definitely worth a visit!
Such an interesting spot. If you are on the fence about going I would recommend spending some time on this groups website to get a feel for what they believe. They are kind, devout people who are very committed to creationism. I really did enjoy my visit here and learned a lot about various developments in the world of creationist thought. I agree with the ICR that science and faith in God are not at all opposites. In the words of Paul Tillich one seeks to explain how of life while the other seeks to understand why.
When I was last in the area I went to the museum to ask questions. They did not appreciate their agenda being challenged. THIS IS NOT A SCIENCE MUSEUM. Do not take your children here; they twist knowledge to fit their pre-conceived ideas of biblical inerrancy. How they are allowed to operate under the word museum and be tax exempt shows major flaws in our systems of government. Sick.
I wasnt sure what to expect when I visited the ICR museum in October. I found it to be an incredible experience that strengthened my faith and helped me understand the Bible better. Two of the things I really appreciated was the Planetarium shows and the Ice Age show. I appreciated seeing how they proposed that the Ice Age may have happened and how the Bible Mary support this idea with various verses in Job.I can tell you that I left a chunk of my wallet in the bookstore and I havent been disappointed with the resources that I received.
Not based on actual science, the museum teaches Creationism juxtaposed over the entirety of mankind. Like a choose your own adventure based on what an old white man would pick for fun and adventure.Edit: Science already says plenty about the history of the earth. Shoehorning the Bible into science has never really worked out well for most people.
Such a neat place. For a Christian thats always struggled with creationist point of view since taking evolution courses in college, this place is fantastic!! A wealth of information for both adults and youth! And not just information overload, plenty of interactive exhibits and fun things to do for groups of all ages!! Highly recommend!!!
Fantastic museum. This is a Christian organization so expect great information on creation theology and scientific research to back it up. Exhibits are text heavy with awesome visuals to improve the experience. We spent 2 1/2 hours here and had to rush the second half. We will return soon to see everything available.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G . Be open-minded is what we are always told in society, right? What about in science and actual published research? This museum is science based with a creation basis. They are not exclusive!Very well done, has lots of deep level information for adults and fun interactive exhibits for the kids.
The ICR Discovery Center for Science & Earth History is a marvelous testament to the glory of our Creator. It shows how the founders of many of the modern disciplines of science were great scientists because (not in spite) of their Christian worldview. What follows is a trip through earth history from a biblical point of view. All along the way, attendees will be shown scientific evidence that supports the Bibles accuracy and authority.Did you know that one finds the same pattern of deposition of sedimentary (water-deposited) rocks on every continent? This can only be explained by a global flood. Did you know that soft tissues such as collagen and red blood cells have been found in fossils that are supposedly millions of years old? According to laboratory experiments, these tissues cannot last even 1 million years ideal conditions. In the interest of full disclosure, I am an ICR employee. I do not claim to be unbiased, but I can speak as an insider. I am one of few who have seen the Discovery Center, which opens to the public on September 2. I know the ICR scientists personally and can tell you that their credentials are sound and they are men of integrity.Come to see the exhibit hall and the 3D planetarium, but stick around to hear a presentation from an ICR scientist. You will be glad you did. 5 stars out of 5!
Incredibly well done! I especially enjoyed the section on the ice age that gathers relevant geological principles to explain how the consummation of the global flood could reliably result in such a massive displacement of evaporated moisture, which led to an abundance of snow and ice. Modern science will typically extrapolate time over many millions of years to explain events like these, so I appreciated ICRs willingness to let the evidence speak for itself. Will need to come back and give other exhibits equal time. The 3D planetarium was worthwhile! We saw the 40min version on deep ocean life and were pleased with the detail given to how these creatures collaborate to survive. Makes you realize how communal every living organism is, not just humanity.7 day creation and ark section were interesting for kids! There are enough dinos to captivate youngsters, although at this point I think it leans a little more towards kids 8+ who can read the frequent iPad exhibits than small kids. Lots to read and investigate if youre an adult wondering if the creation narrative is bogus, or if God really sent his Son to inhabit the Earth. Come open minded and examine the geological, archeological, and historical evidence for yourself. This museum is just the tip of the iceberg for many of us on the search for truth!
Full of great information, variety in presention. My teenage kids got lots out of it despite trying not to. Planetarium was sold out all day. Very first room with animated portraits of famous scientists speaking their own words of praise to our creator in science was ingenious. We all liked ice age theater and live talk in auditorium.
ONE WORD: AMAZING!!! So nice to go to a place with REAL science.COME CHALLENGE YOURSELFThey give both what the evolutionists believe and what real science shows.I was once an evoltionist. I believed in an Old Earth, millions and billions of years. Once I was given a chance to see that none of the evolutionary science is visual and repeated, in any way, I left the belief system. Once I saw that the scientific method could be used for the Creation Science System to support a young earth my beliefs followed that view.
This place was so cool (Especially the exhibit on the ice age)! This was done so well and thoughtfully. I enjoyed the animatronics throughout the different exhibits and the flow from each area went smoothly. I really liked the exhibit on Noah’s Ark.This is a museum focused on telling the history of the world/ universe through a Biblical viewpoint. There is an intentional emphasis on the narrative of creation from Genesis to Revelation. I appreciated the unapologetic presentation of Biblical truth without being condescending to opposing views. I felt like this would give someone who was unfamiliar with the Bible a great deal to think about and not feel stupid for never hearing a Biblical presentation of creation.I took my young kids (2yr-8yrs) and they enjoyed it as well, but there were two things that I think would have helped them enjoy it more. First, there were a couple times where a video/presentation went a bit long for their age group and they lost interest. It would be nice to have a modified version available that was a bit shorter while still communicating the main points. Secondly, they longed to touch/ interact with the exhibits. I wish there was an area or a couple areas they could manipulate or interact with something more than a video screen. All in all, I loved this place. I’d love to go back.
We were hooked before even getting in the door!My first impression of ICR was wow this place is going to be impressive when I saw the giant strand of DNA rising from a reflection pool near the front entrance. My homeschooled grandsons got excited because we had just finished a biology class and they recognized the DNA, too!It was dinosaur week when we were at ICR, so they had a nice interactive area where kids could dig for a bit of an actual fossil that they could take home. Bonus points for the digging medium (sand) being very calming for my spectrum kiddo! There were more fossils in the main hall with people who explained them and let the kids actually touch them - fun!I thoroughly enjoyed a lecture which tied biblical creation and scientific discovery together in a way that left me astounded. 60+ years of living and Id come to believe that they were mutually exclusive... Not anymore! The rest of the displays were just icing on the cake - well thought out, artfully executed, and plausibly accurate. The walk through takes one on a journey down the years of the biblical timeline from the Creation in Genesis right up to the culmination of Calvary in the Gospels - all beautifully done.We will be making return field trips to ICR as there were displays we would have liked to spend more time enjoying. You dont have to be of a scientific mindset to enjoy this great facility - take a day, take your family, or just take yourself and enjoy!
My wife and I were able to attend a pre grand opening event and were taken back by this world class facility and the research that has been and continues at the Institute of Creation Research. To God be the glory for this incredible story of Gods creation shown throughout the museum. We loved it so much we became Premium Members and took two of our grandchildren and two of our daughters for the real grand opening! We all had a spectacular time. One of my favorite parts is the Founders of Science exhibit, which really sets the tone for the entire museum! . All the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the exhibit. Well be back many times!!
This place is under the impression there was dinosaurs on Noahs ark and that they ate pears and apples while on their journey. I find that a bit beyond unrealistic so thats why Im giving them 3 stars. My better judgement tells to me give them 1 star but my manners is what gave them 3 stars.
I used to think 6 day creation was crazy, but upon studying the science behind it, I was shocked at what it revealed. Things in biology, geology, and physics that didnt used to make sense started to come together in such a way that it was undeniably true. The ICR Museum does a really good job of presenting this truth to the visitors in a clear and concise manner. Ive studied this subject a bit, but still learned some new things from our visit. The scientists and staff at ICR are doing quality work. I highly recommend it.
It is difficult to put into words how refreshing it is to have a museum in your own city that is based on creation history/science to take your kids to. Loved the planetarium show and everything about it that affirms Gods truth through science. Its a smaller version of the Ark and creation museum in KY, but just as awesome.
I cant recommend this museum more highly! It is educational, interactive and fun, and provides learning you simply wont find in a public school or even college setting, because it shows ancient history and science from a Christian/Biblical perspective! Ive been once but will return again and again! Staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful...Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy this fantastic museum!
Scientific-based evidence of the creation of the universe. Staff is super friendly and models and presentations are highly vivid and realistic. Theaters, movies, sound, and planetarium are of high quality. There are plenty of learning opportunities as well as moments where you can question science and form your own opinion with the scientific evidence here presented. You wont be disappointed!
I’ve been to the creation museums in Kentucky, this one is right up there with them. It is very well organized and clean. We watched the Deep Space film and it was very impacting. I felt God in several of the things that I heard and read. I would definitely recommend it and come back again myself.
We went on a Saturday morning and spent the whole day slowly going through each area. We left for lunch and came back to walk through it again and watched the Ice Age presentation. The volunteer staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and allow us to go on our own pace.We enjoyed the visit and will come back because there’s still more that we want to stop and take a closer look at.
Love this museum! I love that there is so much interactive. The history and science wrapped up into everything is awesome. My kids thoroughly enjoy their time here. The planetarium experience is wonderful as well. There are so many places offering so much false info it is so refreshing to come somewhere that we can learn and truly read everything!!!The animatronics are fun and the Life of Jesus minis are a must see. I love the short video it ends.Truly worth the $$ spent to come here.
This place is amazing! I had no idea it was here until I just happened to drive by recently. I just took my whole family today and we had a blast! The discovery center is absolutely top notch and as good or better than any other museum Ive ever been too. Theres all kinds of multimedia exhibits which really helps capture the kids attention. The robotic dinos are really impressive as well. My favorite exhibit was the talking paintings of the fathers of science! Its so great to see a biblically based science center that shows solid evidence for the truth of creation and gives glory to God! We loved it and I recommend everyone take their family here for a wonderful day out. Extremely clean and nice facilities. The kids will love it and so will the adults!
Great museum. A bit on the small side in comparison to other Dallas museums but very well laid out. There were several beautiful videos and the nieces 9, 7, 5, and 3 loved it.Lots of scripture and the science that backs up the scriptural account.Very family oriented too, we brought a lunch and enjoyed it outside at the picnic tables on site. The kiddos kept asking if we could go back in and when were we coming again. Which will be soon because their Mama bought a membership!
Do yourself a favor and go to this Museum! Super friendly staff, super clean, knowledgeable people working to answer questions, very interactive and awesome shirts to sell at the gift shop. Planetarium was awesome as well! I went with just my wife but am returning in a few weeks with my entire youth group from my church!! Wish that I could rate this place 10 stars!
Great experience based on Christian values that anyone who enjoys Museums should check out. Friendly staff and great exhibit. I would say expect an hour to 2 hours on entire place depending on if you want to stay for the free movies, paid movie, and parts of the exhibit that is open with no time limit within.
A misleading parody of a real museum — and a glorified advertisement for the narrow, sectarian and unscientific reading of the BibleLots of money was spent trying to explain why the Bible doesnt match reality. Inconvenient facts such as logic, geology, astrophysics, genetics, geology, radiometric dating, and the discovery of a fossil record seems to bother those who believe in a literal reading of the Bible, so an elaborate, expensive alternative reality had to be created to keep the faithful believing.Basically this museum starts with a story and then twists itself into a pretzel trying to make that story believable even though every year more and more scientific discoveries prove it to be nothing more than a fairy tale told by unknowing early humans.Skip this pull the wool over your eyes fantasy land and visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science instead.
Such a blessing to have recently attended a conferance here at the ICR that expanded the eyes of my heart for Jesus. The museum & planetarium was full of Biblical education & presented in a manor that all ages can enjoy.Worthy resources abounded on its shelves & the staff was gracious.Looking forward to the day when my grandbabies can join me for another visit.Thank you ICR for a wonderful Christ filled experiance. To God be the glory.
ICR scientists came to my church a few months ago and gave a series of lectures on various topics and it was very educational and faith-strengthening. At that time they shared that the ICR Discovery Center would be opening soon and I made a note to go over the Christmas break. My family went today and we really enjoyed the high quality exhibits and all the thought that went into them and the museum overall. We paid for the planetarium show about the solar system and while I thought it was well done and informative I would have liked it to be a bit longer. We really liked the Noah exhibit and the robotic T-Rex was cool! All my kids from teenage years to seven years old enjoyed our time there and we each learned something new to reinforce that the Bible is accurate and is confirmed by good quality scientific work. I have a genetics degree and didn’t find any problems with the way scientific information was presented. I’d highly recommend you go!
ICRs displays are excellent and engaging, high quality, and using the latest technology. It is refreshing to walk through this museum knowing they are stating truth about Gods creation and giving glory to God. The staff is most welcoming and eager to help visitors have the best experience.
Went for the grand opening with my family and had a wonderful time! We were all so impressed by the modern design of the building and technology. Everything is beautiful to look at, and the information you learn is so practical, compelling, and awe-inspiring. We loved the planetarium and presentations as well. Then you have the gift shop, where you can find even more resources to back up what you learned in the rest of the discovery center! Its so well put together and great for all ages.
This place is awesome. Wonderful set up and displays. Just wish I had more time. Everything I saw seemed to be very accurate and informative. One thing though I feel needs to be corrected is better signage to show where the ice age show is at. I went with a large group and most of them didnt even know it was there. Also several of us didnt find the other auditorium until right before we left. Definitely a place with a lot of information that needs to be viewed on several trips. Want to go back soon.
What a beautiful place! A lot of hard work and ingenuity went in to duplicate as best people can just some (including the best) of the marvelous works of our Creator and Savior, and of what we have done, and I was thrilled, sobered, and dazzled in seeing what I saw today. The staff are very kind and friendly. The displays are educational and delightful. This is a trip back through time people who take it wont soon forget. My sister and I had a great time.
Loved this place! So happy to see people way smarter than me proving Gods existence through science and providing resources to those of us who dont study science in engaging and creative ways. For anyone who is questioning if God is real because of science, go here! They have endless resources to read and also provide a great magazine. Such a cool place, hope they are blessed through their work.
Beautiful presentation with facts that both children and adults need to hear. The presentation is very professional. It is great for picture taking, but probably best of all is the daily talks giving by Creationists that allow for audience interaction with the speakers. Your family library would benefit to buy several books or videos from their bookstore.
Wonderful Creation Science Museum. Plan to spend at least 3 hours, more if you take in a planetarium show or two. This is a brand new (2020) museum with state of the art interactive media and animatronic T-Rex and other animals. All the exhibits are top-notch, and suitable for all ages. Highly recommend for homeschoolers, groups, and individuals. Glad we went. And the staff was super friendly.
Weve been wanting to go since it opened. Its much bigger than expected, awesome interactive exhibits. Cool tidbits hidden in them, too. The staff was very friendly and this is during covid stuff. The place was very clean and staff very present helping with keeping everything clean. Highly recommend.
Amazing! We totally LOVED this place! It is beautifully presented, very informative, interactive and fun! You will learn a lot about science, dinosaurs, the DNA, the Ice Age, the creation of the Earth, the animals, and the entire universe. This is definitely, one of the best museums in the Metroplex. I really recommend this museum for all kinds of people, kids, teens, adults, elders, men, women, believers or non believers. You will definitely ENJOY while you learn amazing stuff that you wont find in any other museum. They have discounts for seniors and students, and they have guided tours for big groups. You have to go! You will LOVE IT!!!
The exhibit hall is filled with very interesting things to read and see. Animatronics and interactive kiosks.. State of the art. They also have a Planetarium, separate charge. The facility is just beautiful. Extremely clean and well maintained. The grounds include a nice little picnic area.. There is no restaurant on site. The Discovery store is filled with fun science kits, videos, etc. My teen daughter and I enjoyed our visit very much. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
Very nice place! Love the visuals and the exhibit hall. I would love to have seen more interactive things for the littles, but the animatronics kept their attention. There were 0 accommodations for individuals with sensory processing deficits or others who have specia needs that will require them to move through Museum at a faster pace. We were stopped several times going through the exhibits and reminded frequently that there was things they were going to miss, but I felt I had to repeat myself a lot when I mentioned that I was walking with an individual special needs and we would need to move at a different pace in the flow of other guests that were inside. They were all very well-meaning, and while I realize that many of them are volunteers I do wish that they would add this to their list of information to share with them when they are training them. How to make those guests who have special needs feel just as welcome as those who do not. I was gifted a membership so we plan to attend again, but I probably will not bring those with special needs unless there is a special time where there are less people.
A must see museum! There is no other place like it, from the beginning to the end detail and presentation was amazing! I enjoyed the realism of the displays and sounds. They play short films for you to enjoy(they all are worth watching!!)All the staff were welcoming and made sure I was attended to. Great place to visit I won’t spoil all of it! (Ages 10+ my recommendation)
There is tons of great information. The kiosk style stations are where you get the most information. They have about 10 minutes of reading each and there are 6+ in each room with 13 rooms, which makes it almost impossible to do everything in one day. My wife and I plan on going back a few times to see and read everything. We highly recommend it and it is worth the cost to get in.
This place is a great place to learn about the science that affirms the truth of the Bible. It explains things evolutionists just gloss over or dismiss in a way that makes sense. The talking portraits are absolutely amazing - the technology in this Discovery Center is astounding and should keep any person interested
This is a wonderful place...for adult and older children. I do not recommend it to anyone with young children. The displays are enchanting, interesting and some amazing. However if you plan to spend time reading and learning then leave the little ones at home because they will be bored.
Very well done museum and exhibits. Honestly, I worry sometimes about the cheesiness of some Christian-themed music, movies, or in this case a museum. Rest assured this museum is top notch. I would be proud to invite any of my non-Christian friends here. It is state of the art and very educational. Great job to all involved.
My husband and I attended a preview event last week. We were BOTH blown away by how amazing everything was. No detail was missed...even down to the womens restroom sinks. The scientist lectures were so informative! There was simply so much to see and learn that I cant wait to go back again with the entire family.
There so much information on the creation of the universe and all of it is scientific. Of course, the entire thing is creation and Christian centered, and there are strictly Christian exhibits, but none of the science is influenced by creation. Everything presented in the science aspect is fact. It’s really a great place to go to learn more about the origins of our amazing universe.
My wife and I spent a full evening at the Discovery Center and found it to check all of the boxes of a high-quality science museum. Interactive displays, relevancy to our modern, complex world, and most importantly, answers to lifes deepest questions--which is something that most other science museums cannot and do not offer.
The Institute for Creation Research has done an excellent job of presenting, in a variety of very interesting ways, the creation worldview and the evidence for it in science. For any Christian, or anyone else open minded who wants to know more about the scientific evidence for this view of our origins, the Discovery Center is a great place to start.
We got to go on an advanced tour of the Discovery Center and we completely blown away by the facility! The hall starts with something special for Harry Potter fans 😉, and then you go straight into an amazing room that presents the creation of our universe! Keep on the path and you’ll see Eden, a build out of the inside of Noah’s Ark (check out the books in his “office”), and finally — the pièce de résistance (and my daughters favorite)— the giant TRex! Make sure you check out the Dragon wall to the left, it was my favorite. Then you get to learn about the science behind the dinosaurs, the ice age, and our DNA. Lastly, you get to see a model and video regarding the life of Jesus. There are screens and kiosks throughout the entire walk going over and explaining various scientific views (I spent a long time at one going over Darwin, it had been a while since I had reread his theories). My 3 year old loved all the dinosaurs and being able to see them “in real life”! Oddly enough, the lions scared her more than the TRex!It was such a treat to get to see it with my little family and we cannot wait to go back!!
Incredible place full of research & evidence of Young Earth Creation. You could spend as little as one hour breezing through with little kids or an entire day as an adult clicking through and reading each touchscreen computer and taking in every display. I dont want to share too much because you just need to go and take it all in!
Beautifully done, high resolution life like motion portaits of great men of science, Creation days accurately depicted from scripture, dinosaurs with impressive attention to details, historical evidences of man and dinos just a few hundred years ago, planetarium sings the glory of God, and the Gospel is presented. Wait no more, plan a visit and take friends.
Wasnt advertised as one of those the earth is only 6000 years old places. So glad I stumbled upon this alone and could turn away. If I happened to bring my child with me Im not sure how Id pull an excited kid away and try to explain to her yeah its a science museum, but for some reason it just happens to be incorrect scientifc information so were not gonna stay...We ended up leaving and driving to the real science musuem in dallas, which was awesome. At least spell the whole name out so people can have a clue about what this really is.
Excellent facility for getting a Biblical view of how God likely created our world and universe about 6,000 years ago, as well as for His purpose for doing it. One of the founders of ICR, Dr. Henry M. Morris, opened my eyes to the truth of Biblical creation, and the fallacies of Darwinian evolution, almost 45 years ago, and I will always be grateful to ICR for their excellent scientific creation research which verifies the Biblical creation account.

2022-06-10I was really impressed with the quality of the exhibits, animatronics, and films. Lots of interactive displays for adults and kids using some modern technology. Lots of information regarding history, science, and the foundations of creation science. The Bible is the main emphasis on just about everything you find in the discovery center. There are some surprises along the way that are pretty impressive. Kids will enjoy their visit.I didnt have time to watch a planetarium show.

2022-07-05Its absolutely gorgeous! Theres so many cool exhibits and a lot of interactive technology. The animatronics is exciting and the videos are breathtaking! The planetarium is also very enticing. Ive learned so much about space, the ocean, and the interaction between science and religion.Even the bathroom sinks are extremely interesting as they mimic rocky depths!

2022-06-08My party of three, were disappointed to not find a Christian worldview in the Secret Ocean planetarium event. They didn’t talk about evolution but there was not any discussion about the majesty of God’s handiwork, or how evolutionists try to explain away God’s design as random mystical exploding chance.I could’ve gone to an aquarium and watched this video but no we watched it at a Creation museum and didn’t learn anything besides some cool fish. Also, after sitting through a short enjoyable seminar about dinosaurs, which in it mentioned that only young creatures entered the ark it was rather a surprise, walking through the exhibit hall to find the room, representing a room in the ark containing fake animals representing full or almost full grown animals. Why the contradiction?Besides that, the visit was rather enjoyable. There was plenty to look at in the store, the animatronics were awesome, and the info cards were informative.Oh, and their bathroom sinks are pretty cool 😎

2022-03-11We took our 3rd graders on a field trip….IT WAS A FUN, EDUCATIONAL, & INSPIRATIONAL day. Parents & students alike loved it. “Best trip ever” was the comment I heard from many kids.To SEE creation happen, gave me goosebumps. To learn about the Ice Age was ‘cool’, just like the room! To see our planets up close in the planetarium, AMAZING. And such unique books, pictures, postcards, puzzles, & gifts from the gift shop. The gals that welcomed us as we came in, to the volunteers in each section made it a MEMORABLE DAY!!! All agreed, we’ll come back. Thank you!!

2022-04-23This place was great. Highly recommended for believers. Great for kids and adults! The exhibits are some of the best , well put together, and modern. This place is a must see even if you are coming to visit dallas. The planetarium shows are great too. We watched the solar system show. The evidence for a young solar system is compelling. The presentation of the grand canyons creation is new and the evidence is pretty good. We will be back for sure. I hope this place becomes bigger n better over the years.Update:Read some of the negative reviews. Seems like they have a predetermined belief. Which in itself is not scientific. Science is meant to challenge your beliefs on your current science. I believe ICR does just that. There are arguments that need to be taken seriously as they do challenge todays science. So dont bash on it until you take it all in with an open mind. Even read a book or watch a video of theirs. It might open your mind to possibility. Evidence is there. Its how you interpret it. It helps if you dont come in with a predetermined conclusion. (From a civil engineer. Which is as much as a science guy as Bill Nye.)
