Cat is an excellent teacher and we have had a great learning experience so far. Me and my wife joined Cat’s virtual Karate classes through zoom during the beginning of the pandemic. We have successfully accomplished Blue belt. All thanks to Cat’s creative teaching techniques, her patience and commitment which keeps us motivated .

My husband looked for a dojo for us to train in for 2 years but all we’re either too expensive or did not have good value until Cat wandered into my husband’s paint job. Ever since then we’ve been going to Immortal Tiger and have a plan to make it to the end! And Cat is behind us 100%. Cat is an amazing instructor and is as dedicated to you as you are!

Seriously one of the best Karate experiences Ive ever had! Kenpo is focused on self-defense, making it very useful for anybody to learn. Every class is informative, fun, and a great workout. Instructor Cat is such a kind, understanding, and experienced teacher. She replies extremely quickly to any questions in and out of class, is very empathetic for everyones story, and has an incredibly easy to lear style that really works. You will be hard pressed to find someone as passionate and skilled as Cat in Austin, and youd be depriving yourself of a great experience if you dont at least try out Immortal Tiger. Plus, their new dojo just opened up on McNeil and 183, a beautiful space with plenty of room to practice and spar in, along with huge mirrors to make sure your form is correct. Theres never been a better time than now to join, so stop thinking about it and just do it! I promise you wont regret it, not now, not ever.

Ive been training under Cat for almost 4 years now and shes always been incredibly focused on the practicality and utility of kenpo as well as how well it integrated into overall fitness. Its a great way to get & stay healthy and practice discipline.

I absolutely love it here! I have been here for a couple of months and I really enjoy the connection with my teacher, Kat. She is very skilled and acknowledgable of what she is teaching. The best part is how friendly the environment it. I love how I can work on my own pace without feeling judgment. Totally recommend.

I am a VERY shy person who has a hard time being out in public settings. A friend had signed us up to take this class so we could protect ourselves from anything. Cat (The instructor) was very welcoming and made me feel as if we were lifelong pals. I quickly felt comfortable and all my anxiety seemed to be non-existent. I learned a great deal of discipline all while having fun doing it! There was a few times I struggled to remember things (my fault) and she continuously worked with me till I got it down. If I had not moved across country I would still be in her class! She has extensive training from one of the top dojos in the US. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone curious or advanced!
