2022-04-25This is Texas history gem. You can sit and see Sam Houstons and his wifes initials that he carved into the back of a pew. The Texas Baptist museum also has a painting of Sam Houstons baptism.

2019-02-14We found this place on Google when searching historical churches to get married in. Independence is rich in Texas history and the preacher who runs the museum was amazing. We have decided to use this venue for our wedding later this year. The preacher was very accommodating to us and answered all questions we had.
