Dont go here unless you want nothing but problems.. Dropped off prescription for a child wheel chair a week & half before it was needed to give them time for the Authorization. They didnt start working on it until 2 days before it was needed. I asked to speak to a manager he didnt care that someone didnt start working on this in a timely matter.
I find this business is not interested in helping me as a disabled woman. Need repairs on my power wheel chair. PLEASE dont bother with this company if you call your insurance company there are many others around in Houston and will come to your home. They go strictly by there own personal policy. Not Insurance policy. They also wanted me to pay complete bill up front rather waiting for my insurance, then they would reimburse me. Handed me the wrong paper work, made a dr appointment who is 30 miles away, he spend a while filling out the wrong paper work, returned paper work back to Baytown Medical, they then said wrong paper work and needed more. I spoke with many times on the phone and really not much help. Save your self a headache and needless running around. Dolores Thought i would drop a name Great American Scooters store there great .Good service and friendly
Not happy went and purchased a wheel chair was trying to speak with the representative about a scooter and apparently they are not trained to sell the scooters as every question I ask was answered with I dont know or I am unsure. So I will take my $3000 else where. I even researched my answers in front of her to show her i was serious about buying one. Apparently that told her nothing. I wont be back.
Been shopping here for years but it’s recently under new ownership, I believe. It’s heading down hill fast. First, I go in the other day and there are all these tacky printed out signs taped to everything saying “ALL SALES ARE FINAL”. How little faith in your products quality and clientele do you have to have to have this Pawn Shop mentality? Then, and this is biggest reason for the poor review, I pick up some cpap head gear I ordered.First, the woman assisting me can’t find it and tells me they probably put it out on the floor since I didn’t pick it up 2 days before when I said I would. I advised her that no one had called me to tell me they might do that. She was completely dismissive of the possibility. Then she says she’ll go look one more time. Comes back empty handed ,but another girl follows her out with my order. She then tells me it’ll be almost $50 for this head strap. I advised that when I ordered it, the lady told me it was $26. She repeated again that it was $50 and added it didn’t really matter since I had insurance. I clarified that I, in fact, do not have insurance, and would be paying out of pocket. She then said “yeah she probably gave you the insurance price”. I asked why would the previous woman have done that since I don’t have insurance and have been buying cpap masks from them all year out of pocket. She looks up my account and reads off some insurance information from 2 years ago. I quickly asked why hadn’t my account been updated since I hadn’t had insurance in so long and had made repeated out of pocket purchases with them since. She ignored the question.I reiterated that when I called to find out about the headgear I was told it would be $26 prior to deciding to order it. She said flippantly “she was probably telling you the price of a different brand”. “But she was looking it up and ordering it, how could she have done that, is this even the correct one I need?” She pushes the bag towards me and asks if this is the right brand. I said “y’all don’t have the brand of the mask I wear on my file?” She says yeah but she’ll have to look it up. I wait. She looks it up and confirms it’s the correct one. I’m still confused about the price mix up and another woman comes over, looks up something and agrees that the higher price is correct. I ask “then why did I call and ask the price and order it if the price was just pulled out of thin air?” She goes to the back, returns and repeats the price.Upset I say this is the second time y’all have pulled this. Previously I paid x amount for a mask, I call back a few days later with a question, and they inform me that the clerk estimated too low and I owe more money. Why was she estimating, they are a store. I paid the difference. The woman assisting me gives no acknowledgement that I’ve spoken.I ask for a manager, she’s gone for the day. I verbalized my unhappiness with the situation and again she was dismissive and gave no condolences, explanations, or solutions.I paid the nearly doubled price, left, and do not plan to return.
Made a long drive through traffic and construction to shop for a therapeutic item and upon arrival, found out that they are closed to walk in shopping eventhough online it states walk ins welcome. And when calling for assistance with getting what we needed curbside, we got a brisk brush off. Steer clear of here!
I have been communicating with this company since July to get my CPAP equipment from them and it is now September and they have not reached out to me to get me in there. Yes they have called me to let me know they were waiting for “paperwork “ BUT DUKES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT called in 1 DAY to give me the info I needed to get me situated with the equipment I need!!!! I guess Baytown Medical didn’t need my business! Very disappointed since I had done business with them in the past!
Scam artist!!!!! They mark up their product 10 fold and charge your insurance astronomical prices. They dont care about your personal struggles only about their money. Beware do not give them authorization to charge your bank or credit card. example: for a $40 tens unit they charged me $26/ mo rent and for the insurance to purchase it I was told by their employee it would be $480. I paid over $150 on rent for a $40 tens unit.
I been shopping there for years. Now its under new management the employees treat you as pests .The ostomys supplies are bare when you inquire about it you will get the runaround. After a month I decided to get a different supplier your customer service is going to hurt you badly.
I have been dealing with these people they say the insurance won’t pay so they don’t bill the insurance. This is not right. The reason they don’t bill insurance is that they get a higher price for things not going through insurance. Insurance has a contracted rate and it would make your price go down. So they won’t go through insurance.
My wife Tonya Sutton went in for a simple pick up for her mother and waited over 30min while lady sat on her high horse and answered calls and bullcrapped and kept telling her Ill be with you shortly... whoever is over this place needs to check into the staff they hire! 2022-03-07Went into buy something and they need your complete name mailing address almost insurance info just to buy something. When I said I’ll give my name because it’s on my card was told that’s OK they need to open an account for me. I said I don’t want an account cashier still opened an account for me even though I said I don’t want one. Then the cashier keyed my card information in for my purchase and told me I couldn’t make a purchase unless I give them an address. They got something else going on over here.

2021-07-29Gotta say I was a little hesitant about getting my CPAP equipment from this place after reading all of the negative reviews. It turns out that I am glad I did. I was totally impressed by how quick they had my equipment ready, how easy it was to get an appointment that fit my schedule, and most of all the knowledge, professionalism and kindness of Miss Carla. Miss Carla did a great job teaching me how to use the machine, she explained the pros and cons of the different types of face mask which helped me decide which to choose. Oh yea, the young lady at the front desk was also very polite and helpful. I was totally satisfied with my experience at InHealth and look forward to getting my supplies from them in the future.

2021-05-22I have been an unhappy customer for over 3 years. I am finally going to make the change to a new company because you will literally die if you wait for them to deliver recurring medical supplies. My prescription for DME changed in January 2021 and the prescription was sent to this business. Its now May 2021 and Im STILL waiting to get the supplies in the prescription. The billing is sketchy because they charged our insurance and then over charged me on my part. When they were finally confronted and forced to credit my account for the over charge, they stopped supplying DME. There is no visibility on account balance because this business doesnt let you see your account status until they feel like randomly generating a statement. Now, when I run out of supplies, it requires a slew of phone calls to several different offices to find someone willing to help. I dont understand why this business isnt using these marvelous devices called Computers to help them keep track of customer orders and recurring requirements. There is more technology at play in a cave painting than this business uses to take care of their customers. I genuinely dont understand why a company would act in a fashion that actively discourages customers from using their services. I am sure that there are some good and caring people working in this company, unfortunately they dont seem to be in positions to influence or correct the absolutely terrible service. Good luck!

2021-07-01Hospital bed repair. scheduler was courteous and explained what day they would be in my area. Gary, who fixed the bed, called with an estimated arrival time that turned out to be accurate. He was also courteous and efficient. Therepair turned out to be a bit of a challenge but he did not give up on it. The price was reasonable. Im very satisfied with this transaction.

2021-05-13WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. YOU WILL BE CONSTANTLY HARASSED FOR MONEY BEFORE YOUR INSURANCE HAS PAID!!! Believe me 1star rating is being extremely generous! Not one person working in the Baytown location is friendly or helpful. After two visits for fitting a mask for a BiPap machine, I gave up. They would not listen to me as to the size I needed. They knew better than I did as to what fit my face. This is the WORST place to work with Medicare on getting simple CPAP supplies... they are so disorganized they couldnt fight their way out of a paper bag. This is the WORST medical supply store I have ever been to. This is a terrible establishment. I’m constantly being billed as being my responsibility, that all insurance money has been collected and remaining due is my responsibility.! However Medicare hasn’t even been billed. I can’t wait for my BiPap machine to be paid in full. I will immediately change to a new company for supplies.

2020-01-03I tried to get cpap supplies beginning in Oct. 2019. First it was incorrect paperwork from the physicians office. Finally got that. Went to pick it up 12/10 and it wasnt in stock. Paid my deductible and was told it would arrive by mail the next week. Never received it. Called them today and they want $200 for the 2020 deductible! Nope not my error. Cancelled my order, refund my money and you lost my business. Never again.

2021-03-30Ann is rude, disrespectful, incompetent, and uncivilized. It takes no talent to smile, it takes no genius to have good customer service. Ann is vile disgusting and lost her composure due to her ignorant upbringing and low wage earning miserable self. I can only imagine how she speaks to other customers. I am always going to respect myself and will continue about my happy day and take my business elsewhere. Despicable grouchy old women like that hag will never excel.

2021-12-10I havent even gotten my equipment yet and already this company is a mess. Ms Ann called me at 5:45 pm, I called back at 5:46 pm to only get the answering service. I called back twice today and was placed on hold over 5 minutes, so I hung up. The second time I called I was told Ms Ann is out until next week and no one else can assist me. Then why leave a message asking me to call back? You should have called next week instead of making me think Im close to getting equipment I desperately need. Playing with peoples health and emotions, after Ive waited for almost 5 weeks to even hear from someone. Ridiculous. They called me after I complained to my ordering provider, only to get told theyre out of the equipment until end of December or early January. I finally spoke to Ms Ann, who said they are out of the equipment until January and they ran out while she was on vacation. They ran out the day after she called me to schedule an appointment?! She argued with me that she doesnt show I called the next day. I am posting a screenshot of the call log. What a joke.

2019-08-27Do not do business with them unless you want to pay cash and pay double the price. If you try to use your insurance they claim it will take days before you get the equipment because they have to work it. I had a order from my Dr, listing on it there problem with me, why I needed it, and the specific equipment I needed, but they still needed to call the Dr to get that information. They are a business that does not want to use your insurance, they only want you to pay cash. I even called a day before and explained everything over the phone, not one time did the lady tell me about them only wanting to accept cash. The lady acted like she didnt even care, had the thats the way it is, like it or leave attitude.I rated them a one star only because it will not let you rate any lower.

2019-04-03This company is the worst when it comes to providing patients with prescribed medical equipment. They seem to make-up policies as they go along (i.e. they tell you they dont do same day deliveries, they only deliver equipment in certain zip codes on certain days). Was offered little to no assistance in the repair / replacement of their products, especially if its been paid for by insurance/patient.Spouse requires air mattress & pump after previous mattress & pump broke down been calling for over a week both company and prescribing doctor, finally after a week and a half receive news that all documentation received however equipment cant be delivered until following week. Spouse must remain on deflated mattress an added (6) days before delivery can be made (or I can pick up equipment at a different location and assemble it myself). No compassion or consideration for patients they are suppose to be serving.
