James Avery Artisan Jewelry in other cities:
I love the jewelry but was not impressed with the original store. There were so many people crowded in with no boundaries wandering aimlessly. Numerous times I was looking at a display and other people would stand so close they were brushing against me so they could look too. Back off and look elsewhere until the case is available. Store clerks asked no less than 5 times if they could help. It felt like a high pressure car or furniture store.
So helpful!!!! My daughter, is interested in becoming a jeweler and Willa was able to set up an appointment for us to meet with Frank and Marti who work in the human resource department. The meeting with them was SO informative and really helped my daughter understand all the amazing opportunities James Avery has to offer! What a great company to work for! After the meeting we went over to the store and were met by Denise and Anna who were so friendly. Denise took us on the tour of the museum they have connected to the retail store and it was really exciting to see how James Avery started it all. We feel so blessed to have had this opportunity and to cross paths with these amazing staff members! We will definitely visit again!
It was really wonderful for me to be able to introduce my new 95 years young husband to James Avery jewelry! He bought my beautiful wedding band today, and he received the inspirational story of a WW II veteran who like himself, realized creation of a beautiful legacy that countless generations can be proud of, and grateful for.
James Avery designs and craftmanship have declined over the recent years and dont resemble the art, beauty, class and quality of what they use to be. They now look like guady Brighton jewlrey and have a cheap Hobby Lobby look to them. Im dissappointed and just buy used James Avery now from individuals on Poshmark or Ebay. Eventually, Ill have to find another Jewlrey maker. But I do wish James Avery would go back to their old design standards and model. Their old designs were beautiful, classy, artistic and worth every penny.
This place is more than what I expected. It has its own section of how Mr. Avery came about his success and very wonderful imagination. The staff are very delightful and pleasant to be around. They even have your order ready whenever you are. The property is beautiful and even has a spot where you can take a photo.
Very friendly staff and fast service. A sweet young lady, Kaitlyn, greeted me at the door and asked if she could help me find something and if I knew what I was looking for. I told her I was looking for a charm for my granddaughters bracelet. She asked how old she was, what foods she liked, does she play sports, etc....I told her 9. She was very knowledgeable about the charms and immediately showed me multiple charms that were perfect for her. I think I was only in there a total of 20 minutes and thats pretty much because I couldnt make up my mind. I finally made the decision to get the granddaughter charm. She was the most polite young lady I have come across in retail in a very long time. Thank you so much and God bless you sweetie.
An outstanding and informative place. You can view and purchase items of James Avery, of course, but the location is located in a beautiful area and has several buildings accompanying the store and exhibits. As part of the retail store, there is an exhibit of how James Avery started and outstanding information on the creation of how jewelry is done, from start to finish. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable of James Avery and his starting.
So disappointed with my recent experience ordering online. I purchased two charms and only received one charm and an empty box. I called customer service, and after waiting on hold for over half an hour, managed to get someone to agree to refund me for the item I did not receive. Three days later and I still have not been credited or received any acknowledgment of the mistake! Don’t bother ordering online from this company—you will probably regret it!!!
I may be a little biased as I work for the company - though not in sales. Ive always been very impressed by the level of service when I go in to buy jewelry. Always very helpful and attentive. Its a beautiful store with very well thought out displays. The museum is really interesting too, especially if one is interested in the companys history or jewelry manufacturing in general.
My hubby took me on a surprise day trip here to pick a new gorgeous piece to add to my James avery collection! this location seemed to have a larger selection and you can learn how they make the jewelry, see the tools used, drawings that were made into stunning pieces and a ton of pieces from over the decades that have been discontinued. hubby got major points today!! and I picked out a gorgeous ring!
Beautiful store. The atmosphere of the surrounding area is calming and relaxing for visiting James Avery. This store is not in town, but where the original campus is located. Just an FYI- I really do not like the Artisan added to name. My opinion, it takes away from the beauty of the jewelry handcrafted by the employees.
I visited the store this week and Linda helped me with charms for my daughter, jewelry cleaning, and 2 bracelets that I needed repaired. Linda was so patient and kind . Bettina has helped me before and she is super patient and kind as well. Both ladies are super knowledgeable about JAC pieces. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!
It is the best place in the world to go buy all kinds of jewellery for any thing! People there are very friendly help you as soon as you step foot in the store! I have bought jewelry there for many many years! I give it 10 stars. Thank you Mr James Avery for starting this business years ago! May God rest his soul!
I love that I can send my items in through usps with no hesitation, about lost items. They are good people and I love doing business with the store in kerrville. I have not personally gone in there, but sending my items back and forth for repair and/or exchanges is a breeze. 🤗♥️ keep up the great work!
Came across this by chance after being in the area for a wedding. I had forgot they were based in Kerrville. Luckily they were still open, the last 30 minutes. Anna who helped us was just amazing. Offered to take our picture and gave us some history of the area. Thank you so much ❣
While my guy and I were in Kerrville for the day he took by here to see the James Avery location. The store was really nice, half is which was dedicated to more of a museum of their history. They jewelry is really nice and high quality. I just, personally, think that they are a bit overpriced. I would think that, for the price, they would replace when something breaks or wears out...like Brighton and London Fog do. Then, I would consider them a 5 star like those.
Even though James Avery is not able to accommodate my custom jewelry modifications on a family heirloom piece, a wonderful sales associate, Anna, is going above and beyond to assist me in finding a local, reputable jeweler who can. I have always been pleased with James Averys products, but even more grateful for their wonderful customer service. Looking forward to my next jewelry purchase with them!
You cant live in the Hill Country and not have at least one piece of James Avery jewelry..The retail store is nicely laid out, and the staff is attentive and helpful..If the wife is on Santas list, she will be getting her next piece...Only down side, prices seem a little high, (but Im a guy, what do i know).
Fun place for adults. Very busy. I was a little confused at first. Because no one greets you at the door. And really no one bothers you.Which is pretty nice. But once they saw what I was buying I had like 5 employees asking me what else I needed.Anyway we really enjoyed our visit to this location
After dissenting opinions from the GPS on my phone and the one in the car, we found the sprawling James Avery ranch on its own road (Avery Rd.). The main store and parking lot is very well marked so you will have no problem finding it. The limestone building looks immaculate from the outside with the James Avery name in prominence at the entryway. The store is brilliant inside not only from the lighting, but the sparkling jewelry displays and the crisp interior ambiance. A wing of the store is a craftsman museum of sorts with displays of the tools and machinery used to make jewelry. We were there to have a piece of old JA jewelry updated with new clasp and the chain lengthened. The manager was able to come up with a solution that saved us money yet still maintained the goods looks of the piece. Nicely done. Thank you!
Every single time I go there, the employees are SO rude. I have stopped buying things here only for that reason. If I go to any of their stores in any of the malls, the employees are very friendly. But, not here. Ive lived here my whole life, and theyve always been this way. Their selection that they display isnt really much of a selection either.
I have been ordering James Avery for many years now and was always pleased with the craftsman ship and customer service and the fact that they like to claim that if its in stock it usually ships within 24 hours, that is until my last couple of orders. I order the tiny turquoise ring wore it maybe 5 times and the stone has fallen out, I contacted James Avery and was told they will send out a mailer so I can send the ring back so they can decide IF they will take care of it....ok as I have no choice we will try it this way well its been 13 days and FiNALLY the mailer is on its way. 13 days to mail an envelope??? Did you have to print it?? I also placed an order on 10/10 after not ordering for awhile because I was disappointed with shipping time on my last order and when I had a question about my order customer service was not helpful and I ended up with a ring no one really likes, the ring I ordered is in stock so I figured sweet it will be in the mail by Wednesday 10/12 ya know with their promise to ship it out within 24 hours... Haha nope finally on 10/14 I get the awaited email its been shipped and will be here on Tuesday 10/16.....nope wrong again when I check this morning to see where it is nope sorry no explanation but its not going to be delivered until 10/21. So, after 11 days my in stock, should be shipped in 24 hours ring will finally arrive, about a week to late for tHe occasion it was bought for. Thanks for helping me make my nieces day a special one James Avery......NOT because the gift is too late and was replaced with a absolutely beautiful ring. Needless to say I dont think Ill be shopping on line anymore at James Avery, maybe if their online customers were as important and got the same top notch customer service Ive heard you receive in the stores and when you say it ships in 24 hours SHIP IT 24 hours.

2021-05-19As a native Texan, I never miss a trip to James Avery when I am home. Ingram has been the most constant for 60 years (oops, aging) and mom jokes about us ,her also, spending our childrens inheritance at James Avery. The grounds and buildings are gorgeous, along with the art they create. Theres a rich history, and seeing it grow has been a gift. The employees are lovely, always helpful and never pushy. This trip I got a special thrill from purchasing a retiring piece, when she had to take the last one out of the case. I had looked at it since it came out. Whew, just under the wire❣This necklace is versatile and of course shows better in the case or when being worn, just couldnt help showing it🙃

2019-10-13We had a wonderful visit here! The history of the founder and company was fascinating. The staff are incredibly friendly, thank you Anna! And the jewelry is just amazing. We purchased a tree of life pendant and chain, and a stethoscope charm. Love them both! Beautiful displays and jewelry, including gorgeous bags!
