Ordered a Nooner burger with onion rings. The bacon on the burger was old. Maybe it was leftover from the morning. At $10 a burger the food was not good. Maybe JC needs to come back and cook. The burger meat had no flavor. Burger had mustard and mayo and the Anatolia? Sauce on it. Still dry . I had to add ketchup to the burger to get it down. Onion rings- nothing special. I want my money back. I was too hungry and tired to complain. I originally started at 3 star moved my rating to 2 star. Not very special hamburger joint.
Burgers are awesome!!!! Staff are friendly.. but omg!! They need AC!! Every time we go inside there its so hot almost unbearable!! An we feel sorry for the workers being so hot..
Great burgers and fresh fries. Dine-in is available during COVID-19 currently. Milk shakes are made with fresh ice cream. The open kitchen is clean and kids like watching from the tall tables.Luzianne tea, which is a great choice. Restaurant is clean and decorated with local town flair.
First time here and in my opinion ...the BEST burger around! Everything was hot, fresh and delicious- from the fried jalapenos to the burger and fries! The employees were super nice and even came over to check how everything was. I will be back for sure!

The burger patties are small and thin, too small for the bread they serve it on. I got avocado and they just piled it up in the middle. Lettuce wasnt very fresh.Id recommend you get a jr burger to get meat and bread with every bite.Full order of cheese fries is small as well.Its literally okay, not bad and not good.
Great expierence here. My Nooner burger was big and cooked to perfection. Had the cheese fries with bacon and jalapenos. So much cheese you couldnt see the fries! I also went for a chocolate shake. They didnt pour it into a little plastic cup. They just serve it up in the stainless steel mixing cup its made in with a spoon. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back.
One of our French fries order looked nearlly like shredded potatoes. I ask to see if fries suppose to look like this.? Manager did not attempt to change them so, i took another order of fries that we had to compare then he offered to change. I was really upset after spending over $80 in food.ther and he argued about about an order of fries.

Burger was hot and fresh. The patty was cooked very well, seasoned right, and was very juicy! The fries were hot and tender crisp. Staff is wiping down the tables between customers. Excellent burger experience!
Have eaten here many times and this place does not disappoint. Fresh ground beef, salt, pepper and I think a couple additional spices make this on tasty burger. If you are a cheese lover, they offer a good variety of cheese options. Prices seem reasonable to me making these burgers a great value.
Cordial staff, good food. Warm, local atmosphere. Decent prices for the amount of food you get (the burgers are quite large). Nice selection of classics, like nooner and barbeque bacon. Always clean and quick when I go, but never rushed
Folks! If youre looking for a great burger this is the place to have one. Theyre fries are hand cut with the skin on and they are absolutely wonderful. Perfectly seasoned burgers and fries and oh the onion rings wow! Its a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for... absolutely not disappointed whatsoever.
Took my girlfriend here after I had been to other locations and she is really skeptical about trying new places.First bite and she turns to me to tell me I did a good job and she loved it!

I stopped by yesterday for a burger to go. Staff friendly and efficient. Burger was cooked to perfection. I ordered the Black and Blue burger. It comes with blue cheese and crispy bacon. This place knows how to cook their bacon for a burger. I will go back soon and dine in so I can have a shake. The place is clean and staff is very clean with the food preparation. five stars for wearing gloves while handling food..

This place was great! Awesome burgers! Sweet potato fries were very good, crispy, just perfect! They accommodated our group of 25. I called ahead and reserved it and everyone I spoke with was super friendly and gracious! And they have hand dipped ice cream! I have always loved JCs Burger House but after this trip I need to come back more often!

Do not waste your money in this place it was my first time that I order here I think is going to be the last time, they made my order wrong did not put the ingredients they said in the menu. I ordered the chicken club and they gave me the classic I never going to order here again.

This for plano location only...Burger was so burnt it was like a leather wallet.. tomatoes were soggy. Like mush. I usually love JC burgers. This time they didnt do it for me.
I have eaten at several different JC Burger Houses and normally got my hot and juicy patty burger since they were cooked only after I placed my order. I visited here on a weekday around 6pm. My burger patty was dried like it had been precooked and left on grill to keep it warm. Same as my onion rings and fries, they were not hot as I used to have at other JC Burger. Onion rings and fries even looked dark like cooking oil should have been recycled.
Not the best burger Ive ever had but the strawberry milkshake and onion rings were delicious. The staff is super friendly. And the burger wasnt terrible, dont get me wrong, just doesnt compare to Haystacks. I will definitely go there again. I like the fact that its byob too.
Their food is always fresh and delicious. Cooked well and they have TATER TOTS...JOY! onion rings are sweet and fab. Call ahead 10 mins and just go pick up your order or eat in. They survived during covid bc they are friendly and care about their customers, great food!

Good burger,Not Fuddruckers or In/OutBut a good burger. Bun was a little doughy, and wouldve preferred it be better toasted. Fries were really good. I also thought it was a little bit pricey, 1/3 lb w fries and a tip was $15.Not a bad place, pretty clean and friendly staffIf your in the neighborhood try them out.The doughy bun was a turnoff, not sure if Id go back, but the fries were really good.
We just had our first JC’s burger and I have to say YUM-MY!!! Loved the burgers, cheese fries with jalapeños, of course, and onion rings. ALL hit the spot!! Will be our new “go to” for a good burger!! Oh, and the service was outstanding! 🤗
Hand cut fries are great. Burgers are average. They are seasoned, which is something special it seems compared to most places around here. However, ours (mushroom n swiss and the works) was very dry.
The cashier was great today. The guy at the front was accommodating and represented the company well when a customer had a little trouble. Props to him. Great food to boot. One of the best burgers around.

JCs is a great place for burgers. They have big ones and little ones. The bigger you go, the greasier they get (still reasonable even with the 1-pound burger). They do have a 1.5 pound cheeseburger (with a challenge) on the regular menu. Fries are hand cut and great. Lunch specials are exceptional deals (11-2). Hot sauce for your burger and fry needs is also available gratis.

We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious! Their fries are some of the best. One of our regular spots for dinner.
On the afternoon of March 21, 2020, we placed a phone order for pickup with JC’s Burger, Allen location. We have never purchased food there before. For the past 11 years, we have always eaten at the Plano locations but they were closed because of sanitizing their facilities. The next morning, I happen to take a look at my receipt and noticed a “seat total charge” (including tax) for each item ordered. Also, I noticed, the ordered items turkey burgers, onion rings and sweet potato fries were each an additional 20 cents higher than posted on the website menu. Out of curiosity I called the restaurant and spoke with “Billy” the same person who took my phone order the previous day and asked him whether the website menu prices were up-to-date and he said it was. I asked him what was a “seat total charge”. He said he didn’t know. There is nothing on JC’s Allen website stating any upcharge/fees on food for pickup or otherwise.
Great burger. Dont go if youre in a hurry, it takes a while. But thats because they grill to order. Avoid the fried pickles unless you like a lot of breading. Too much IMO.Great tasting fresh fries, and the cheese & jalapeno fries are downright evil. (Well, evil for diet, but worth the calories, and, hey, youre at a burger joint, so are you really worried about calories?
I placed an order with Edaurdo on 10-06-2020 for a hamburger with no onions, French fries, and Bemmy Burger. I paid with a credit card. I ordered onion rings and paid cash.When I got home there was no hamburger with the order so my wife had to eat leftover chicken.With the COVID-D pandemic and sales being scarce you would think the staff would be more conscious of providing good service, and ensuring what was ordered was fulfilled.Very disappointing.
This is our go to burger joint when were out for burgers. I have nothing bad to say about this place. They have a variety of burger styles to pick and choose from. The meat is fresh everyday. You want a nice small town feel, mom n pop kinda place, this is it.
They have the most amazing turkey burgers and sweet potato fries!!! If you love spicy food try the jalapeño bites. You wont be disappointed!!! Friendly staff!
Ive been eating JCs burgers for 11 years now. This one is by my apartment and I go when i get the chance, each and every time i go it is a delight! The staff needs to me more intentive to their customers and what they order. Other then that, the food is amazing!
Great beef/burgers. So-so fries, excellent onion rings. Limited ambience, but clean and they stay on top of things. Only a short wait for food.Be prepared for some shock when you pay though. Two 1/4 lb bacon cheese burgers, side of fries, side of onion rings, small soft drink and a water cup was $25.50.
JCs loaded cheese fries are absolutely delicious and the burgers we received were definitely some of the best weve encountered in the area. If you have kids, even if theyre big eaters, go for the kids meal as it really is an awesome deal, especially considering that (if theyre legitimately still starving) a malt or scoop of Blue Bell could easily fill their massive voids. 😜 In gist, for the price, the food and atmosphere undoubtedly make this establishment worth at least an occasional visit.
The burgers I ordered were delicious. I bought them for my husbands dinner and he didnt come home for 2 hours... The burgers really held up well and my hubby was pleased. Definitely will return.
My family and I visited JCs for dinner today. Nice friendly staff and great burgers. I really enjoyed the patty melt and my wife said the sweet potato fries were good. Plan to come back again sometime.
Cheese fries were the star of the meal, tons of cheese and pork belly. Split an order and we finished the whole portion and there werent any fries without goodies even at the end. Burger was okay, not bad in any way, just not great either. I think they may have forgotten to season the burger when grilling. Will do another visit some day to see if it was something like that.

A personal favorite. I like the bun-less burger! Newly revamped interior for more seating. Food is not the fastest but everything is made fresh to order so just slow down, take your time and enjoy the folks you came there with and you are in for a treat.
They have the best cheese fries in Texas and there hamburgers are big and delicious. There staff is very friendly. There food is a bit expensive, but well worth it. Definitely give it a shot. You wont regret it.

I had the nooner burger and it was pretty good. Its an egg and bacon burger with lettuce and tomato. The bacon was a little overcooked and the fries were seasoned a little unevenly but those were very minor things. It was a little pricey at $13 for one meal but overall a good experience.
Grilled burgers made fresh. In fact, they grind their own meat, which is a bit unusual and very tasty. Definitely a good burger 🍔!

The food is decent but the restaurant was sub par. There were numerous dirty tables and no toilet paper or paper towels in the women’s bathroom. The employees never came to ask how the food was after dropping it off at the table, they were too busy chit chatting amounts themselves and with a friend or off duty employee.

Was told at 3:15 on a Sunday at an empty restaurant that because they had a large order for pickup that we would have to wait 30 minutes before we could even order food. Love JC’s overall but management at this location is a joke and we will never be back here. It shouldn’t be hard to cook 2 more burgers around the however many others they had to make for paying customers that drove just for their food.
Ordered a Juarez burger (half pound), fries, and strawberry milkshake. Ended up paying like ~$18. Thought it was a bit pricey, atleast it was enough to leave two people feeling little less hungry. The food had our taste buds beyond satisfied. Definately would come back!
Save your money and go to In and Out.EDIT: Gave this place a second chance today. They failed again. We brought 2 families in to eat. 10 people. One of us ordered bacon on a burger and it came with no bacon. The attendant said I didnt hear you order that. No biggie. The best thing to do is say no problem, let me get some bacon for you. Instead he wants us to pay $1 for bacon that he failed to add on. Classless. Remember JC, you are surrounded by several burger joints and now you have lost my business for good.
Great first visit! The owner told us about the menu and that all sandwich ingredients were fresh and made to order. I had a medium rare mushroom swiss burger with cilantro aioli, and a side salad. The food came out pretty quickly. Burger was hot and fresh, cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his turkey burger, our daughters enjoyed tye bacon bbq and nooner burgers. Clean and bright environment, staff were friendly. Will return!
You’re doing a disservice to yourself by eating any other local burger 👌🏼 The Juarez with green chiles and extra jalapeños is my favorite go-to. If you don’t like spicy and prefer savory, the mushroom-Swiss is the one to beat. And they serve Blue Bell sooooooo 💅🏼 Their staff is always incredibly friendly, even if I order near closing time and get my food to go.

This time they sent two of same drink insteas of different two that i ordered and the hotdog was gross and really salty tasting and they just threw it on bread and sent it to me. Not a hotdog bun a piece of bread. Really? Horrible!!!

Everything tastes fresh. Both the burgers and chicken sandwiches are cooked perfectly and never been dried out or overcooked. Get the hand cut fries. Good prices. Free WiFi.

I had the 1/4lb with cheese and green chili . YUM! Just like home made. In fact it reminded me of the Lottaburger hamburger stands in Arizona long ago. Excellent Burger! The grill crew work their tails off keeping up with all the orders.
Working in the area and decided to visit JCs Burger House. I asked for a chili cheese burger (which wasnt a standard menu item). They were able to accommodate my request for a little extra money (chili, cheese and jalapenos were extra). Although I bumped up the price of my meal, the food and service was good.

UberEats just delivered my meal piping hot and it was the first time I have eaten here. The triple burger with avocado bacon fried egg was sooooo BIG omg it was delicious. The fried pickles were sliced thick and the ranch was just right. Definitely going to eat there in person and probably wont be brave enough for the triple next time but it sure was good!

Never tried this before last Sunday and we are glad we stopped here. Great burgers and fries. The signs they give you while you wait are miniature Texas highway numbers which is a neat touch.
After waiting an hour, I called the restaurant to see what the hold up was with our delivery. I was told that while my food was indeed ready, their Uber machine/server had crashed and he had to restart it due to the amount of Uber orders that came through. He told me he was about to begin calling to get things delivered. The food came an hour after that call (I live about a mile from the place). Everything was cold. Not even warm. Cheese on the fries was a brick. Not to mention NOTHING was made how we ordered. Jalapeños were requested to be left off, they were on everything. We asked for cheddar, got American. Crispy bacon? Not a chance. I paid for a full order of cheese fries, they literally gave me enough to barely cover half the takeout container. I understand the Uber server crashing but shouldnt we have gotten fresh food? Isnt an hour or even 30 minute a bit long for food to set waiting?! ON TOP OF ALL THIS?! We were charged TWICE!!! Im thoroughly disappointed. The first time we ordered from here we were pleased. Not so much this time.
Above average burger, good fries, and the service was relatively quick. Not much to complain about here, its a solid option for lunch or dinner. Would definitely return.

Like to come here when we get the chance. Service is fast and the food is very good. Couple of TVs to catch up on the days events with a good amount of seating. The guys and gals working here really do a nice job of checking in and asking if you need anything. Good all around operation.

Ordered lunch special burger drink and fries...$11.36. Free refills on a large drink. Fries tasted good and plenty on plate. Diappointed in the burger. Meat patty tasty but the tomato slices as thin as potato chips! Not detectable in taste, lettace was shredded and thin. Like eating a meat patty and whie bread buns.....kinda gummy. Yuck. All that good spiced burger meat but hardly any vegetables which could have been the ultimate burger for all that money...darn. Bring your own vegtables or take it home to make a great burger. Friendly people.

Been coming to JC burger for a long time. Today there card machine went down and instead of turning people with card away. They told me and all the other customers they can pay for todays meal next time. No other business would do that! Highly recommend.

Compared to other locations Ive been to this meets some good expectations. Food was delivered quickly though we were the first ones there. Adding extras can get pricey so Id stick to their set menus.
The food is always good, but bring a lot money. Its ridiculously expensive. I went their yesterday with one of my boys. Two 1/3 pound burgers, two fries and two ice teas. Just under $25.

Great burgers, poor service on November 14th at noon. Cashier tried to upsell me after I told him twice that I just wanted the quarter pound lunch deal, no soda, just water, regular fries. He kept asking me other questions about cheese and sodas. Just let me have what i asked for. He was relentless. I told him I just want the quarter pound lunch deal and water plus the lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, no onions on the burger. Its been my routine once a week for five years. He kept asking questions, trying to upsell me, disgusted I walked out with no food and went to Wendys that did not try to upsell me. My name is Crash.

What a rip off! The burgers were almost $7, and the hamburger only came to 1 on each side of the bun! They claim it is 1/2 pound, but no way. I get more full and better flavor at In and Out with their double burger at 1/2 the price! You have to pay extra for cheese at JCs!Go to Burger Break in Plano, for $2 less you can get a burger twice the size. And Burger Break has real ketchup and mustard, JCs only has these phony little things of ketchup you have to open. And at JCs the onion rings were $2.89 and not good.I will NEVER to to JCs Burger place again, IN and Out, Braums, or especially Burger Break in Plano is FAR SUPERIOR to the rip off JCs! Do not get cheated at JCs!

2022-01-18On a hunt to discover a burger spot around Allen and maybe Plano. JC burger was so so, I had the Nooner minus the bacon, I dont think the sauce was right for this burger. We also bought the Patty Melt which my companion said could do with more cheese. I gave 4 stars for customer service instead of 3.

2022-07-05JC’s is one of my all-time favorite burger places ever, Been a fan for years. I recently started going to this location after the one that I used to go to closed and wasn’t disappointed. The food is amazing as always, staff is friendly and awesome as always as well. Love this franchise, I’ll keep showing my support. 5/5 ⭐️

2021-09-11Order at the counter burger joint in a strip mall. The parking can get a little tight since it is at the end of the side of the strip mall. There is plenty of parking, you just might have to walk a ways. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and in good repair. The burgers and fries are good. There are several specialty burgers and plenty of extras to add to the generic burger so you can build yours exactly as you like it. We asked for grilled fresh jalapenos on our burgers and got grilled pickled jalapenos. Not good... But everything else was great. Recommend.

2022-05-02BUSINESS HOURS MEAN NOTHING ?I stopped by there on my way from work in Plano to McKinney. We skipped several other places to eat because my wife wanted a burger from here. We got there between 8:45 and 8:50 PM and the doors were already locked. The guy in the kitchen looked up and turned around, the girl by the register just waved me off, I asked thru the locked door if they were closed and she nodded and looked the other way. Online and your sign at the door says you close at 9:00 PM, I was already prepared to order to-go, but I guess they wont be getting my business in the future. I got just a good a burger at Wendys. Wish I could give zero stars.

2019-01-13Great food excellent service. Always a friendly staff that is very attentive. My wife and I eat JCs regularly both dive in and take out. Their burger of the month is always a great way to change up the ordinary and try something new. Fresh cut fries are always a must. They even offer the Todzilla, a 1.5 lb triple meat triple cheese burger if you are hungry enough.
