I was told not to attend this specific Jiffy Lube. I tried it out anyway. The employee with big earrings was rude and always rushing the other employees. While we waited on our truck he was rude to other customers too. This Jiffy Lube looks more like a high school mechanic work shop.

Fast service, open Sundays, and 15% military discount offered as well as online coupons.Theres a massage chair inside that is free, and excellent waiting area with comfortable chairs, WiFi, phone charging station, complimentary coffee, and snack machines.Full synthetic blend cost $80. This is about average pricing for a couple of places around this area. $28 tire rotation. Coupons online saved me $18 on oil change, 15% off tire rotation, and 15% military discount making my total ~$75 with tax. Awesome!I will be back overall very satisfied.
Went here for a State Inspection, got the added bonus of 2 nails in my tires from their location. They didnt offer to repair my tires or even give me a discount for them damaging my tires. If you like being taken advantage of, or dealing with dishonest businesses, this is the place for you.
Came here for an inspection, since my windshield was a little dirty, they insisted I need my wipers changed in order to pass. When I asked how much, they wanted to charge over $40 to change the wipers. I said i could just change them myself for $20 and Ill come back. They said ok and passed my car after that, just be aware that theyre gonna try to play you if youre a woman🤷♀️
Shayne offered exceptional service! I’ve been going to Jiffy Lube for years, but I normally visit the Grissom location. They had an hour wait and advised me to call the Culebra location! I called to see if there was a wait and they told me to head on over because they had two available mechanics. I was in and out within an hour for an oil change, tire rotation and rear brake replacement! Everybody was very professional and I would highly recommend this location!
You drive in to the back and they got 4 lines for different services. Someone comes out and you give them your info and then you wait inside, which is nice because they got a coffee corner, as well as nice seating with a TV and a massage chair. Their restroom is really clean, and they even got a charging station if you habe your usb cable. Prices are comparable to other places, I did fully synthetic for about $90.
Amazing Experience. Shayne and Luis were kind and courteous. Service was fast and professional. They made a special point to reference my Veteran Tag and offer appreciation and a discount without being asked. True professionals that will have my business in the future.
I went here to get a headlamp. And wipers. Never before in my life have I ever had such quick efficient service. Not exaggerating. First I called to verify if they replaced headlamps. Drove over pulled up, I was asked what I needed. I exited my vehicle. Sat in the lobby for maybe 10 minutes, went to the bathroom washed my hands, then sat outside, pulled my book from my bag, then they called me to tell me my vehicle was ready. Wow! No up selling, no pressure. Very happy with that visit.

I brought my vehicle here for a state inspection. It passed, but the service advisor tried to tell me my brake pads were worn down to 2 mm and I should look into replacing them. This was with only 9k miles on the vehicle. I confirmed with a different shop that the pads have 8 mm remaining. Either this shop doesn’t know how to measure brakes or they were trying to take my money and hoped I wouldn’t know any better.
My wife and I have visited this Jiffy Lube location multiple times for state vehicle inspections and each time has been a pleasant experience with great customer service. They are very consciousness of giving you an accurate estimate of your wait, erring on exceeding expectations. Yesterday, in particular, Dominic was especially respectful of my time. Props to the managers and staff at this location for establishing a standard of excellence when it comes to customer service!
Exceptional service received. Always go to this location but yesterday their customer service made my day when I came for a vehicle inspection ..a prompt service you hardly cannot find any where else . Mr. Bobby greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome assuring me I was going to be taken care of. I believe Mr. Dominick was the service technician who expedited the inspection in less than ten minutes I was impressed and very happy for such fast and prompt service. This place is great. Shawn took great care of me and most importantly my wifes car. Very attention to detail, customer service oriented, and very informative. Ive been to a lot of oil change places this one by far is the best...not only the location but the staff as well. Shawn makes you feel like family. Keep up the great work guys. I ended up taking a chance on this Jiffy Lube because another place that I usually go to didn’t have my oil filter and they asked me to go buy it and come back which I thought was really weird. But ok. Decided to take a chance and turned into the Jiffy Lube and I was glad I did this is going to be a really easy and accessible spot to get my car service. Great customer service they know what they’re talking about and I appreciate that they don’t try to push anything on you. The lounge is pretty cute and small, has everything that you could possibly need while you’re waiting - massage chair coffee drinks phone charging station...
Great customer service from my initial point of contact (phone call) to the moment I was told my car was ready to go. Shayne was super helpful and my car was finished way quicker than expected -- go team! I will for sure be a repeat customer and cant recommend this place enough based on my experience thus far :)
Had an amazing experience with Shayne. I called and explained that my alternator was out while standing at autozone. He told me to come on down. He was waiting for me outside when I pulled up.Shayne was honest and kept me informed the whole time (this was in the middle of my workday and I had an import appointment to try and get to).While expensive, it was worth it to be back on the road quickly and safely. Seldom, I leave reviews to warn other consumers about my experience with any particular business as I have been a business owner myself and understand the impact these may have on the business itself. Let me start by stating the positives. I was taken care of right away and had to wait a fraction of the time as opposed to taking my vehicle to a local dealership. That said, their prices are outrageous. Not only do they not have competitive pricing, they use bullying tactics to up your service costs. I brought a 2 year old vehicle for its first inspection and was failed due to streaky wipers! I was asked if I wanted to replace them. I said that I did not felt the need to at the time and, as a result, my vehicle did not pass. My military discount was not honored either when I was in the process of paying for my service. I was told that they would not be able to combine it with any other offers. First, let me say that I do not feel entitled to receive any types of discounts for serving my country. The only reason I brought it up was because the gentleman that walked out of there before I did was honored both and I did not. I know it was more than likely because I did not feel the need to purchase wipers or the air filterthat I was asked to purchase right then and there. Overall, ended up paying over $100.00 for a synthetic 5 1/2 quart oil change and a state inspection. By the way, that was my final price after an $18.00 coupon. Never again.
Great place to go. Always in and out when it comes to oil changes, car inspection, and tires. The manager(i believe his name is Shane) is always there to help you out and goes that extra mile. I had oil changes and inspections done this weekend. Needed tired and he helped me out to get those done as well. Cant say enough about him.
I took both of my vehicles here for their inspection to renew my plates. Each time I was Mertes at the door with kindness and had no wait, they took my keys and got started right away. I only waiting for about 15 min in the waiting room which was very comfortable and clean. I appreciated the great service and fairness of things I needed to have completed in order to pass inspection. I will be returning again for service and next years inspection.
I brought my car in for an inspection, didnt have to pay any ridiculous add on fees like other shops suggest. Shayne was exceptional and his team were very courteous. I brought my car back the next day for some service, and the guys went above and beyond with the service. Very rare to find a oil, lube service shop that you can trust with not paying for things not needed. This shop is clean, they have nice amenities while you wait, and you dont have to worry about eye gouging. Ill definitely use them with my other vehicles for small service, and feel at ease! Shyne, is amazing. I never have any issues when I come to this location. He has been able to assist and explain each issue that I have and what is needed to be done or what can wait for when I can get it fixed. From a quick fuse check, battery replacement and check engine light. They can work on everything I need. I have found my shop!!Thank you all for your help and great customer service!!
Bobby gave me great advice on what time to bring my car in and pricing beforehand over the phone. Shebly was polite and courteous, explained to me what I needed perfectly and got me in and out. The other customers I talked to in the waiting area have been going there for years and have never been disappointed. I think this will be my new go to for everything they offer as well. They even vacuumed my floors and checked my tire pressure for me!
OMG I am impressed. I waited too long. Er. . I didnt know you got new coolant every couple years. Thank goodness on Mothers Day Weekend Jiffy was there. I dropped off my car at 4:15 and had it back by 5:30 pm. $130.00 delivered me from oppressive heat. Thank you Jiffy for rescuing me. My son called around. Dont pay more than $130.00. I forgot what cool air was. Dont suffer. Go to Jiffy.
I really like this location. The workers are always so helpful, professional, and honest. They are not pushy at all when suggesting services my car needs and are okay when I tell them that I’ll talk to my husband about the services they suggested. They are quick and always have me out within 20 minutes. Definitely recommend Jiffy Lube on Culebra.
Fabulous experience here when I got my oil changed! Quick and efficient. Staff is friendly and doesn’t try to rip you off by saying “you should/need to replace this or that”. There was also a bolt missing on something in my car and the manager said he if they had the bolt he would just take care of it an no cost. Awesome customer service. Will certainly be coming back for service!
The mechanics are amazing! I just went there to get the latch for my trunk put back on and we’re so courteous during my visit there. The manager Shayne was so nice to talk to while I waited. They didn’t even charge me for putting it back on!! Will be my regular Jiffy Lube from now on
Shayne was very nice at 7:30am , ensured that my car was in good hands and my brakes were done in 2 1/2 hours AND half the price of getting them done at the dealership! Visit Occurred 07/05/2019I have been here before and the service I have received thus far is adequate. Usually there is an annoyed sounding oil jockey doubling as a cashier inside the lobby, and today was no exception. When I first pulled up, I was quoted $100 bucks for a full synthetic oil change on my F150, and I would get a 15% military discount. My actual out of the door price was $111. This is par for the course when dealing with these quick lube places. They provide you a quote up front without handing you anything in writing, and then some how up charge you when the maintenance is done.The waiting area is clean, and well kept. There is a television their to help pass the time, and a coffee machine with cream and sugar packets on standby. Ive never used the restroom here, as Im usually never present for long.Overall, they do what they are supposed to; provide minor maintenance on your vehicle. I would rate them higher, but that weird thing that they do with pricing is annoying. 6.25% sales tax on a $100 quote would have been $106.25 out of the door, BEFORE you consider the military discount that they supposedly applied.If you are uncomfortable with (or too lazy) to do your own oil change, these guys are... okay. I recommend them in a pinch, but if you have other options and arent pressed for time, look elsewhere.
Took my daughter to get her first oil change today. Patrick was awesome. He checked everything we asked and made recommendations to have our mechanic check out. He did not try to sell anything we didn’t need, and treated my daughter like a valued customer. Thanks Patrick for the outstanding service to a new driver.
This location is great! Im from out of town, on a road trip and walked in with no appointment. Talked to Anthony who was upfront about the services, price and wait time—which ended up being quicker than expected. The tech Joseph who worked on my car talked to me in detail about my car maintenance and never pushed anything I didnt need on me. Super helpful and knowledgeable guys. I was very impressed because the Jiffy lube back in my city are something else. Great location here in San Antonio. Thank you guys so much! I got back to my city with no problems 👌
Visited this Jiffy Lube location on 7/19/19. I am very pleased with the services I received. They are friendly and prompt they do not make you feel uncomfortable and they explain everything they are doing to your vehicle. In particular Shayne was amazing!!! He made my experience that much better! Thank you so much Shayne! The service was amazing will definitely be coming back and will be referring all my family and friends to this location! Where does one start,We moved to San Antonio a year ago and was told to use this place. They said the guy was a good guy that managed it.We used it for oil changes and other services. We needed tires both our vehicles. My husbands stopped by, they said they would need to be ordered. That was not a problem. He took off work to get them. After sitting there for 4 hours. He was told sorry we ordered the wrong set. I went the next day and waited for a couple hours and was told they had not come in. Why let us wait. They told me to come back after 4 pm And they should be there. Not a problem, so I ordered my tires. Got my with an issues. I go back at 4 pm and still no tires. So a call was made. 2 hours later we had tires. I was only given a discount of the express delivery of the tires(not my fault ya’ll could not order it right). Had a conversation with the Manager. Explain them a loyal customer and really have been put out by this. He said to give us another chance.Fast forward to today. I go in for a oil change and I have my tires rotated and balanced since I had will be traveling. I’ve driven my car very much as usual due to Covid and being at home for several months, but the road out here are pretty bad due to construction. I was told by the same manager that my brakes were really bad and I needed rotors due to letting them go to long and should have had them replaced a long time ago. I asked him why did no one tell me when I got new tires a couple of months that needed brakes then? Now all the sudden my brakes are completely in need new and need rotors? I was really upset, not mention the $900.00 price tag for my total service....and 2000 ish bucks for née tires a few months ago. Apparently if you’re really pretty,female they’ll give you a good discount. But if you like you little bit of money, they make sure you pay. Run away from here! Today they lost a family of vehicles. I will never return here!
The workers greeted me with such prompt and candour, I might as well have been at a 5 star resteraunt. After about a few minutes, they had me seeted in some of the most comfortable chairs for in and out customers, that money could buy, while they took absolute perfect control of my jeep. The work was done in great time, while I was there, my mask broke, but noone even questioned me a out it, which was nice and tells you about the area. Overall, great area, great place, but on top, the best work done!
This place was great. The waiting area is nice and clean . They have coffee and vending machines if you want a snack. Shayne was very knowledgeable and very professional. He also came out to my car right away to ask what I needed . My husband brought his Jeep here also and was very satisfied with how fast the service was and Shayne knew a great deal about Jeeps since he has had one for a long time . My husband loves to take his Jeep to people who know Jeeps.We will definitely come here for our next oil change.
I have done business several times with Jiffy Lube on Culebra Rd. Everyone I have interacted with there has exceeded expectations every time. I always leave feeling like I have friends in the business. They are friendly, honest, and willing to help you out. This kind of service and common decency is unique in todays business landscape. Called on a Wednesday: Do you have the oil filter for my VW? Yes, we have plenty, pretty popular car.Thursday: Pull up, just making sure you have the oil filter for my car. We Do.After waiting almost 2 hours.. sorry we had to order your filter, sorry we didnt tell you. We will give you a discount to make up for it..Checkout: So i gave you 15% off Really?????? like the same 15% percent coupon i just pulled up on your website.... way to make it up to me! 90 dollars with discount for 21 dollars worth of oil, and a 5 dollar filter. Even had to reset my own change oil light.UNfreaking Professional, Poor Value, and a waste of my time. If i wanted to wait 2 hours for an oil change, i would go to the dealer.
Marcus and Jacob were very knowledgeable and professional. They performed a thorough inspection to ensure my safety on the road. I know everybody feels like mechanics say that they should get extra services and that they are being gouged, but that is not the reality. A lot of times your car really will benefit from the services they suggest. The mechanics here suggested a service that I accepted because it was only about 60 to $70 but when I was waiting for my car to be finished I looked it up and on the Honda website its specifically suggest not to get this service. So, either the mechanics were incompetent or they were telling me something just because they wanted to make more money. Then on the drive home I realized that they havent screw back in the plate on the bottom of my car and so I have to call back up to the store which no one answers and then I have to call in to the Jiffy Lube wooden hundred number, and they call the store and no one answers. Eventually some district manager calls me and is very nice and takes care of it and they send mechanics out to fix it but it never should have happened in the first place especially after I was told that I needed a service that the car company specifically says not to get.
Shayne really saved my behind today. My car was making a rattling noise and stalled on 151. Luckily, it started up again immediately and I took it straight here. He already had an idea of what was wrong and the team quickly assessed the issue. My car had been leaking oil for a couple and he topped it off at no charge. He told us how to prevent it, too. I have been here a couple times before, so I think the service is trustworthy, consistent, and polite. I was on my home within 10 minutes. Thanks!
As a woman I always dread going to have any maintenance done on my car because I almost expect to be ripped off and a bunch of unnecessary services pushed on me. That was not the case today. Rudy and his team were honest, quick, and efficient. I got my car serviced and Rudy and his team fixed it and didn’t try to sell me anything extra. I really appreciate their honesty with everything. I will not go anywhere else for my car service needs from now on. I definitely recommend this location!
This Jiffy Lube is blessed to have Shane! He is trustworthy and takes pride in what he does. He personally communicates with the techs to make sure that jobs are done right and as quickly as possible. It is so easy to lose trust and so hard to gain it. This location of Jiffy Lube gained my trust. The prices for tires and breaks were highly competitive and I am happy with all of the work that has been done.
Always a great experience at this location (Culebra and Lone Star). The folks there have always completed all requested work to standard and done so in a timely manner. The only place I go to for my oil change requirements. I know they do various other work, but I have not had anything outside of oil changes, tires rotated, wiper blade replacement and state inspections perforned.
Great guys here with very quick service! I also like that Jiffy Lube keeps records of your car maintenance and provides a maintenance schedule for your vehicle over time that you can keep up with.I just got my state inspection here today for only $7. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Thank you for the speedy service!
I have been a Jiffy Lube customer for as long as I can remember. Today proved why I will stay a jiffy lube customer. I previously went into this location and a former employee told me they do not do oil changes for my vehicle because they didnt carry the oil. Today I went and purchased my own oil and took it back to this location. Upon arriving there I was told they DO have the oil and they do the oil changes. They rectified the situation that a previous employee caused and took care of me. Shayne and his staff were very professional and willing to help. They care about the customers more than money. They will continue to get my service. Thank you guys so much.
Had my oil changed and air filter replaced. Soon after my service my a/c went starting blowing hot air. My wife took it back and was told it would cost $140 to recharge her a/c. No thanks. If it truly is a issue that wasn’t caused by jiffy lube, I will gladly pay to have it fixed. But not by jiffy lube. I don’t trust their work anymore.
The staff was nice however the wait time was long for an oil change because they were under staffed. The worst part was that the mechanic got oil on my driver seat so I had to go next door to The Wash Tub to see if they could get the stain out which cost 169.99 and had to wait almost 2 hours
Came in yesterday to get an oil change and tire rotation , Shane was the one to help me! He was very honest , upfront and looking out for my best interest when dealing with what I needed for my car. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be going back.
Shayne runs an A+ place and treats every customer like a friend. It’s impressive to see how naturally he interacts with every customer; it’s something I rarely encounter in today’s times, honestly. I went to this location because of the reviews and I’m glad I did. I would recommend anyone who is unsure about to trust with your vehicle to give this location a chance; you will not be disappointed.
My husband got his oil changed this past Thursday and on Friday evening he noticed his Honda emblem in his front bumper was missing. Normally it would be hard to place when it would have gone missing but he had recently washed his car and it was still there, he also smokes in the garage when it is cold and sits staring at his cars grill, which he had on Wednesday night and did not see it missing. The only places he had gone on Thursday and Friday before he noticed it missing was to get his oil changed and Walmart. So we cannot say where it was taken from. I suggested we call the oil place so that the manager would know, in the case of some other customer complaining about the same thing. I called Jiffy Lube at Alamo Ranch and asked to speak the the manager. I explained to Joseph and to my surprise he, immediately started scanning his video surveillance, he asked for make and model of my husband’s car and when he could not see my husband’s Honda he asked for his name to look at his records. He stated how they take theses types of complaint seriously. He could not find any cars on the Thursday that matched my husbands vehicle. I told him I would get the time he went because I was positive my husband would have his receipt. Joseph, asked me to call him back, he showed genuine concern about even the possibility that something like this could happen at his shop. Well, when my husband showed me the receipt, it was not Jiffy Lube but Express Oil Change. I called Jiffy Lube back but Joseph was out to lunch and spoke with Shane, who had been filled in on the situation. I must say I was very impressed with the proactive and positive attitude of both Joseph and Shane they gave great customer service because they went beyond what I was expecting. I cannot say the same for Express Oil Change, which when I explained the reason for my called I was told that they would look to see if there was any Honda emblems laying around. I had to bring up video surveillance and they finally said they would review it, I felt like I was left hanging. I had to ask if I should call them back to find out if they discovered anything. At the end I suggested they could learn from Jiffy Lube’s customer service. I had to tell them that they should have asked for my name and phone number so they could contact me, instead of me call them. Needless to say, we didn’t hear back from them. We will now be going to Jiffy Lube for our oil changes.
Came in to get my car inspected. Had to wait a little but no big deal. Shayne was more worried about it and went out of his way to get me out as quickly as possible. They care about your time and want you to be pleased with your service no matter how small it is. Good job guys. I’ll be back.
I’ve lived here two years now and this location is the only place I bring my vehicles, and it’s gonna stay that way until I leave. Shayne, Marcus, and their team of professionals always keep you up to date and do great work. Never had an issue with any work done, probably never will. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I’ve had amazing service here in the past. Unfortunately this last time it’s been far from the case. I got my last oil change done from this location and recently I’ve started to hear something scraping against the road when I drive. I checked underneath my car just to see that my undercarriage has been ZIP TIED. It’s missing 3 screws and is only being held in place by one zip tie. Who does that????
Jiffy lube has exceeded my customer service and car services expectations. My car had been smoking and leaking after my oil change from jiffy lube, I previously thought it was happening from the oil change itself and was not pleased when they told me it was just old oil. After speaking with the manager Joseph, he reassured me and told me to bring my car back in. Joseph and his team found the problem that was not from the oil change they did but the oil sensor. Easy fix and very happy with the service that has been provided today!
I am from Brownsville Texas and while visiting in San Antonio I needed work on my car. I didn’t know where to go so I went Jiffy lube on Culebra. The mangers there were clear of the reasons and cost of the work needed. I was also surprised of the quality of the job. I highly recommend this Jiffy Lube
Bad place dont trust this location came over for inspection and they want to replace wiper blades to pass inspection , last inspection they did same thing to my wife 35.00 dls to replace them to pass inspection I ask them to check record cause they replace them last inspection guy argued that I have to replace them every year and I have to do it or dont pass inspection I check them are ok blades last more than one yr. They just want to charge for thing do need I get my car and go somewhere alse do not trust those places.

Went in for oil change and state inspection. was upsold a cabin filter, I asked the price and was told $30, they would take 10 off. I agreed. after paying and reviewing receipt I was charged 39.99. they also forgot to do my state inspection, but offered it for free. I watched and no inspection was performed, but i was given the paperwork I needed to renew my registration. So that was fine.
Our check engine light came on and it ended up being the Mass air flow sensor. Shayne and his team took amazing care of our vehicle and replaced the sensor. Shayne is an excellent communicator and has impeccable customer service skills. We would highly recommend this Jiffy Lube to anyone who needs service and will surely be back.
I had my car to Jiffy Lube to fix the oil leakage. They diagnosed that it is from valve cover gasket and got it replaced. A few hours after the fix, I noticed oil leakage, AGAIN! I had it to another mechanic and they said that it was the oil filter.Jiffy Lube charged me $276 for wrong diagnosis.
I spend most of my morning looking for a place so I could get my Lexus a transmission flush. Most places want over $200 and would not take my car until Monday morning. Not to mention that I would have to wait 3-4 hours until completion. Jacob and his team only took less than an hour to get it done with a lower price. These are some good guys. They changed our brake pads and rotors on the front and rear axles. Now the brakes make a high pitch squeaking sound that it never did before.We called it in and they said it was a simple fix. Drove in and the mechanic was out on lunch. Came back after lunch and the mechanic was out buying tires. They said they’d call when he was back. When they finally called to tell us the mechanic was back it was with the wrong customer information. We took our truck back in for the third time just for them to say the mechanic had a 2 hour job and wouldn’t be able to help us.Unorganized, sloppy service, lies, and bad maintenance. Never ever going to Jiffy Lube. Terrible experience.——————June 2019 UPDATEWe decided to take our truck into Midas instead and they insisted we take it back to Jiffy Lube because there was much that needed repair under our recent brake warranty. We didn’t want to, but we decided to give this location a second chance.At Jiffy Lube no one gave us the warranty information that we asked about. No one answered our questions so we left and waited for the call. The mechanic test drove it, said the Midas concerns were irrelevant and they bent something to stop the squeaking sound.Our truck now squeaks going forward and backwards. I value our time and money too much to give this place another chance. If I were you, I’d look into your store and their services.
I will never come to this location anymore! If I could give 0 stars I would. Our first incident was about a year ago, I got an oil change and the next day the engine died. Thank God my car is still under warranty. After the car was fixed I started going to the Grissom location and no issues. My husband must have forgot not to go to this location, but he went to get an oil change. The next day we noticed when we would accelerate white smoke would come out the exhaust and the car felt like it was struggling to move faster. Took the car to a different place to get it looked at and no oil. Got another oil change and car is running fine. There’s no leaks or anything. Won’t recommend this place and won’t be coming back.
Came because one of my tires had a slow leak. Initially, the tech was unable to find where it was leaking so the filled it and Shayne said if it goes down again bring it back and Id have priority. Next day it was going low again and they were able to find a very small leak in sidewall. Ordered new tire and was given a nice discount... Thanks for handling this for me!
My car was apparently done and moved outside the bay. A little over 30 minutes later I was still waiting to check out. I had to go to the bay and request someone to come check me out. Check out took another 10 minutes due to a coupon two guys couldn’t figure out. Since the bay was open when I arrived and they went to work on my oil change almost immediately, there was no reason for me to be there over an hour. Nothing “jiffy” about it. Also, paying $110 after a $25 off coupon for an oil change is gouging.
I honestly wish I could give this place ZERO stars.I usually go to the location on Potranco & Hunt Lane, they are superb.The location at Alamo Ranch West though? They need to work on communication and what it means to be a team.Went in on 08/20 at approximately 5PM asked for an oil change and some new tires for a second car, we had worked out a deal and bam! We were in business.They had to order my tires, which was fine considering that my dimensions were fairly uncommon.I had strictly told the person that I was making a deal with that the front two tires were the ones that needed dire replacements.The rear left was fairly new.Some guy charges me for the service and was glad to pay, since we stayed under budget and got what I could afford.On 8/21 I come in to get my tires installed.Before I enter my car I notice that the two front ones were still the old ones.I go back inside to tell the person working the counter that they had changed out the incorrect tires.One of the technicians comes up front and just starts spitting word vomit throwing the person that had discussed the service with under the bus.Like bad! Throwing all the blame on him.He then kept telling me that they were gonna change out the correct tires right then and there.I was not mad at all! Mistakes happen. I get it.At that point I looked at my watch told him “No, I used to work long hours in retail, it’s past closing time and I’m sure you and your crew would like to get home. We can work on this tomorrow.” Since I had already been there for almost 3 hours as well...The following day (8/22) the guys worked on the car in a timely manner and I was on my way.By 8/24 I kept hearing a thumping sound from one of the tires.8/27 the hood was smoking. I pull over on 410 to find out the they had not closed my oil reservoir and oil was sputtering over and burning on the engine surface.By that point I go to AutoZone and get an oil change kit to change the oil myself.8/29 I go to the mechanics at my job to help me figure out what the thumping sound on the tire was.They already knew it was a broken sensor and enlightened me on how it was more than likely damaged during the tire transfer on the rim.They stripped the tire from the rim and retrieved the broken sensor.By that point I am irked at all the problems that I have encountered since day one.I was going to leave it alone and just not go back anymore, but this is not acceptable.I called the store on 8/31 and asked for their regional manager’s phone number to discuss my experience.Left him a voice mail to give me a call back.I understand it was the holiday weekend so I gave it time for him (or her) to get back to me.It’s currently 9/4 and still no one has reached out to me.I am disappointed on unprofessional how this is being handled.I feel like this store/region has a “we got your money” type of business practices.I have been taking my cars to Jiffy Lube all over Texas for the past 10 years. These guys will never get my business! I was looking forward to $5 off an oil change with their grand opening. I was met by a guy who took my keys and walked me to the lounge door. Didnt even walk me inside to the desk. The only time I saw employees inside were when I watched two associates try to not sell, but convince ladies that they needed things for their car( like saying the conventional motor oil they asked for wouldnt lubricate their engine nearly as well as synthetic, even though they repeatedly said conventional). They also charged a lady an extortionate amount for a cabin and air filter which she could have easily gotten cheaper and werent that dirty, but they convinced her she needed it. Other than that, there were no employees inside at all. I waited for almost thirty minutes and left. Im sorry, but I dont think this is any way to run a store. You dont take advantage of people and you dont make them wait without customer service. Ill go to the Jiffy Lube in Helotes before this store again.
Months and milage later after I had just purchased my vehicle I eventually needed an oil change and Jiffy Lube happened to be the closest place to me. One morning I took my vehicle in to get an oil change with a top brand full synthetic oil for my vehicle. The customer service was great as I was welcomed as soon as I pulled up into the Jiffy Lube bay with just about every Jiffy Lube employee amazed by my vehicle. Some time later my vehicle was done, I paid my bill and I was on my way. As I made my way home I noticed some bubbling sound coming from underneath my hood in the engine area which I found odd as I had never heard that sound before. I arrived home and was suspicious of this sound and so I looked under the hood in the engine bay area and underneath my vehicle. What I found was oil everywhere from my engine, to underneath my hood and a puddle of oil underneath my vehicle. I was a bit upset and more concerned as to what was the issue as my car had minimal milage and the warranty had just started up from the dealer. I immediately called Jiffy Lube and explained to them what I had experienced and found. A manager asked me to come back in and the Jiffy Lube technicians would check my vehicle for any errors on their part. I made my way back to Jiffy Lube, sound still bubbling from underneath my hood not knowing what was happening as I am not an automative expert. When I arrived my vehicle was put into the Jiffy Lube bay and the technicians began to try and fix what they had apparently did wrong. The manager approached me a few times stating that they did not know what was causing the bubbling or oil to leak. Eventually the manager approached me and the truth was exposed as the technicians of Jiffy Lube had overfilled my oil. I immediately realized that old oil and new oil were now within my engine, covering my engine bay, underneath the hood, underneath my vehicle, on both my driveway and garage floor. The technicians had not drained my drain plugs correctly and overfilled my oil with what was now commingled oil. I was annoyed to say the least and a bit concerned, however as not being an automotive expert I was unsure as to what kind of issues or damage this would essential cause to my expensive vehicle. The manager assured me that everything would be corrected and that there was no need to worry as I would receive yet another oil change to fix the problem. Again some time later my vehicle was done and I was refunded for Jiffy Lubes error. Lately I have been doing my research as my check engine light has remained on since I left Jiffy Lube during this experience. The engine codes that have been discovered, due to my check engine light being illuminated on my dashboard, by both a local Autozone, O’Reilly and dealer closely resemble those that are found when engine oil is overfilled. I am currently taking my vehicle back to the dealership to have them look into the matter more closely and provide me with a more technical professional verdict as to what has been done to my engine/vehicle due to the error of Jiffy Lube. I will be in contact with Jiffy Lube soon. My advice for now is not to journey into a Jiffy Lube near you, instead simply go to your dealer. It will save you the hassle of a dreadful experience.Update: I received a response from the owner to contact them in order to “allow their team the chance to resolve the matter...”. I provided my information but have yet to hear back from them. This was 4 months ago.
Today I took two of my vehicles to the Culebra store for inspections. Even though there was a line, Dominic and his crew worked through the vehicles and the whole process only took about 10 mins (with about 4 cars in front of mine). Dominic was very professional when conducting my inspection, and I will be a repeat customer of his.
On Feb.4th I went here for vehicle inspection.....Tech told me I failed because of brakes, needed to have front brakes replaced...etc. I had not experienced any braking problems...I was very skeptical, felt I was being scammed. Told him NO, he told me I would have to have brakes replaced before I would pass inspection. I paid $7 and left. I went to an independent garage...owner did inspection, I showed him receipt from JL showing I failed.....Owner said my brakes were fine and I passed inspection. He said this is typical Jiffy Lube business practice....they work on commission and always try to SELL you some service, when you dont need it.....BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!
Won’t be going back to this place for an oiled change. Their service was quick but I paid $70 for an oil change, which I wasn’t told till after the work was done. If I would have known I just would have gone down the street and paid $39 at the Honda dealership. Such a rip off.
Oil change was great but now Im afraid of contracting Covid 19. None of the workers had masks or gloves, social distancing wasnt attempted at all. The lobby was fully open but no signs or anything reminding customers to be safe. No way I was going to sit in any of those chairs!The employees were in and out of my vehicle and others throughout my service. They didnt wipe anything down. They had a single small bottle of hand sanitizer behind their desk and a spray bottle of alcohol on top which I ended up using to wipe down my car myself. There were no changes to their business because of the pandemic, they did not care one bit about Covid 19 or preventing customers or employees from contracting it even with the increased risk given that they interact with customers cars so frequently.
Went to Jiffy Lube this morning concerned about my brakes squeaking. Spoke with Shayne who told me that I didnt need brakes just a cleaning. I could have easily been taken advantage of by someone else because of my lack of experience with cars. Thank you Shayne. I will definitely be back!!
Shayne is awesome! In addition to needing an oil change, I needed a headlight replaced. Headlamp replacement is pretty complicated on my vehicle, which can also mean costly. Shayne was able to figure out an easier way to get to the headlight saving me both time and money. Thank you Shayne D!
Fast oil change with a nice sitting area they also vacuum and clean your outside windows but for $80 (F150 blended oil) definitely not worth it. I usually pay around $50 at Christian Bros but needed it done today. Will not be back you can get a $13 off coupon offline make sure to do so.
I went here to get my oil changed, they changed it & checked my tire pressure, said everything was OK.On the way home, the part of my car they unhooked to change my oil partially fell off. I had to drive back with a chunk if metal scraping the pavement. That was so incredibly dangerous and negligent on their part.They fixed it, and on the way home I decided to take a drive to make sure everything was ok. My tire light came on. They overfilled them & now I have to go fix them.Seriously dont bother going here. Im so angry. I will NEVER go to a Jiffy Lube again.
Its unfortunate I wanted to rate this place higher but due to me working midnites My days are full with me sleeping. I saw on the website as well as the door, this place was establish to open at 7:30. This is my second time arriving here and it was not open nor no sign of anyone in the parking lot besides the wash tub next door. This review is solely due to its hours not their work. I wish i can state more on their work but I cant at this time. I waited a while and left again with no service.
3 week ago I went to do a inspection to my BMW everything went find. 2 days later my son takes my Audi to do a Inspection and Fail.They lied to him saying that the car need it 4 new tire. And they fail the inspection. But the tire are good they could last 2 more years because the do have alot of tread. If you do the penny test on all 4 tires the tread cover the forehead of lincoln in the penny test. That means that the tire are good. So I took the car the next day to Casia automitive on Grissom road and there they did a 5 start inspection on my vehicule with no issues.
Today I went to get an inspection but was told that my tail light had water in it and it needed to be drained before it could pass for inspection. So, the man told me to drill a hole on the bottom of it so that it could leak out. I go home, drilled the hole, changed the wipers, and I finally go back. Then, I’m told that the hole I drilled will fail my inspection after they told me to do so in the beginning. Much respect And love for the people, but frustrating advice
I was driving down the road wondering why my car wasnt driving as well as it used to, and realized I wasnt sure the last time I had an oil change! I pulled into the lot, was greeted right away, and was out of there in under 20 minutes! I had brought my laptop in to do some work while I waited, and barely got it up and running before being told my car was ready. And, my windows were clean when I pulled out!
Came here for state inspection. The golden haired guy that received me was pretty cool, told me there was one car in front of me and later after I voiced my concern with the order the cars were being worked on, was still pretty cool to explain the mixup. After this the other two guys went ahead and reshuffled cars and put mine in the order I arrived. Decent dudes but just bad timing/circumstance. I’d like to say you’ll have better luck.
All I wanted was a simple oil change and an inspection done on my car, I pulled up to this location around 9am with absolutely no other vehicles being worked on and asked if I could get my oil changed and inspection taken care of, the person tending to me said the inspector wouldn’t be in until 10:30 or 11 so if I’d like to come back to get both services done I could do so at that time... I already felt like he didn’t want to help me but fine I left and came back at 11. When I came back at 11 I got out of my vehicle and asked for an oil change and my inspection to be done, the same guy tended to me, he said he was doing a high mileage oil change because my vehicle has high miles I said that’s ok I’d prefer the conventional oil change, he rolled his eyes at me and said ok, I asked if I could use a groupon that I had he said yes. For whatever reason, when it was time to cash out my groupon wasn’t honored and he said it was because it was invalid or expired which it wasn’t and he couldn’t give me any further explanations nor did he want to.. He said good luck getting your money back from groupon because he himself has had issues with them in the past, I personally have never had any issues with groupon in the past but did have a sense that this individual could care less about the service he provided to me as a customer but went on my way and left... I just got home and looked at my receipt (which is a careless move on my part) only to discover THEY NEVER DID MY INSPECTION!!! All of this back and forth only to come home and realize I’m going to have to go somewhere else AGAIN to get my inspection done. Wow, what exceptional service that I got! After going there at a time when they could have taken their time to service me only to get turned away, then to come back, pay $25 to groupon for an oil change that didn’t even work plus an additional $50 to Jiffy Lube for what I thought was the actual services I requested only to discover that what I requested was only partially done is unacceptable! Although I understand this is not a business that prides itself on the service you provide to your customers a little common courtesy really could go a long way... There’s a reason this place never has any business and it shows to the few people that try and give you all a chance, lesson learned, my business, my vehicles, my times, and my money will no longer be wasted on such a place!

I drove in from Houston. My car started to overheat on the way in. I usually go to the Jiffy Lube in Houston so I found one nearby in San Antonio. Patrick and Marcus away this location were so helpful and really saved the day so that I could drive back! I will come see then again if Im in San Antonio! Grateful for their expertise and help!
I had forgotten which of my vehicles I had serviced, but of course it was saved on file. What I most appropriated today, was that I had dropped my wallet some where which was in my car. The tech Bobby didnt scoff or pressure me, gave me time to find it and was super patient with me today. Thank you.
I was told by the manager the mechanic was not there to tighten my ebrake cable for inspection and was told to leave, I called to what I thought was another location but accidentally called the location I had just left. I spoke to milo and was told the mechanic had other jobs for the next 2 hours and was leaving early today. I waited there for close to an hour before they told me this. I can not go anywhere but jiffy lube since they placed me in the system for 2 weeks. One can infur the manager is a liar and then when I asked to speak with milo again he changed his story. What a nightmare stay away from jiffy lube they are ran by a bunch of goons with no sense of accountability or integrity.
Went in for an oil change, when I drove off started to hear a rattle coming from the engine, went back to get it fixed and they blamed me saying I’m the one who drove it in the shop and that they have nothing to do with it, I explained that the sound started after they did the oil change and I got the same answer. At the end I just decided to leave. That’s the kind of people who give mechanics a bad reputation.
Went here last time because I wasnt allowed to change my oil at the apartments i was at, but now i have a house and was gonna change my own oil, but it appears they used an air hammer to put on my oil res plug which is a torque value bolt. My ratchtets are only pulling the metal of the head not the entire bolt. Use of improper tools to put my oil system back together is why im giving a low star rating.
I have made 5 calls and visit to the store. One email and voice mail to (district mgr. A Garza) without any resolution. At this point the service received has turned sour, due to the disregard of my concern. They failed to replace the windshield washer tank cap, thus lost in transit or was forgotten at shop. A promise was made to replace it, but it has been a nightmare in retrieving it. Point of contact at store was Jacob. Post service has been the pits.

2022-04-07A++++ Service!!! Left Midas because they were lazy down the street, and thank God I did! I would have gotten ripped off, they wanted $170 to just look at my car that was . Three young mechanics were all over my car giving it super close attention to detail fixed my number three piston that wasn’t working for $67. Did my safety check, oil change, and even changed my wife’s wipers. Great service! Dang my wife was sitting in a massage chair she wouldn’t give up. The place was amazing and I’m so happy for the job they did! Great job guys! Bobby was super professional and making this place above the rest! Found my new go to mechanics!

2022-03-30This is the first time I used this Jiffy Lube and Ill not make that mistake again. Let me give yall the run down. I got an oil change, air filters were changed, I asked for new wiper blades and tires to be rotated. I was charged $230.00 and for what?? They didnt inflate my tires like I asked, didnt top off fluids, didnt reset the oil change meter, didnt get new wipers blades installed. Most of these services are supposed to be included. They did however wash my windows and left the dirty water that dripped and ran down on my car. they scratched my rim and will do nothing about it. The entire experience was horrible and the workers ARE LAZY. Ill NEVER go back.

2022-06-20Needed vehicle inspection - after going to two other places either the line was very long or the wait was three hours which I did not have. I finally went to Jiffy Lube not knowing they offer this service and as I pulled up to the parking lot, a young lady greeted me and asked what I needed. Within 15 minutes I was in and out and only paid $7.00. The service was excellent and they even have a massage chair in their waiting area 😊

2022-03-07Very bad experience at this location. I will not use Jiffy Lube anymore because of it. I took my wifes Toyota Sienna for an oil change. After the service was completed, they told me the threads were stripped on the oil pan by whomever did the oil change last (which was another oil change company). I thought it was odd that I never had an oil leak or anything since then and that maybe they were trying to pass the buck. I parked the vehicle in my garage, and two mornings later, I noticed fresh, clean oil had dripped onto my garage floor, something I never had an issue with prior. I addressed this with Jiffy Lube, and they told me that I now need a new oil pan, a $332 repair! They never admitted that it was their mistake and that they stripped out the threads in the drainage pan, which clearly they did. While I was there, I overheard another customer telling them that they did not put the correct oil into his vehicle that he requested. Unbelievable. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with an oil change place. They need to pay attention to what theyre doing, take responsibility for their mistakes, and not pass the problems caused by these mistakes on to their customers.

2022-06-21This jiffy Lube WILL and DOES charge you for things they don’t add to your vehicle. I saw firsthand they didn’t have a part for someone’s vehicle and still charged the person for it as if they put it on. They are very unprofessional. The lack of people in the workforce keeps a few of these employees employed. Employees make HIGHLY racist comments and don’t seem to care that people may hear them. Do better some of the shady things being done are illegal. No one should have to pay for something they didn’t receive that is extremely unfair.
