Joes Pasta & Pizza in other cities:
I had the Super Combo Plate. My son had the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. By far the best noodles I have ever eaten. Joe knows how to make his noodles and cook them perfectly al dente. Superb meal. They are located in an old Dairy Queen or something like that. Never mind all that. The food is worth going for.
The place stunk the pizza were old and dry the people were rude and hateful I felt unwelcomeed I asked for a cup of ranch and the lady acted liked I was not there then the man asked me what I need and I said a cup or ranch IT WAS A 1.50 for a cup of RANCH WOWAnd 4 dollars EACH for pizza that was old and dry THAT DID NOT HAVE NO Flavor if I could give this a zero star I would
Great stuffed pizza! I called in an order for takeout. I ordered a stuffed pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I arrived a little before the estimated ready time and was greeted as soon as I stepped inside. I paid and while waiting for my order to finish up I looked at their menu. So many choices for future visits. The place was clean and those working seemed very nice. When I arrived home and looked at the stuffed pizza it was just what I was hoping it would be. The crust was perfect, the sauce was a light sauce but also full of flavor, the cheese was the perfect amount, and the meats were also satisfactory. I am very happy with the quality of our meal. I look forward to going again to try more from their menu.
I never write reviews but this experience was so bizarre I feel compelled to warn people. We decided to try Joes based on reviews but I have to assume they are paying for 5 star reviews. This was possibly the worst pizza dinner I’ve ever had. We ordered (delivery) a cheese pizza, focaccia, and a Greek Salad. I’m not sure if the cook knows what focaccia is, but what we got was a sub roll cut up with slices of tomato and cheese on top. The Greek salad was literally just iceberg lettuce with a couple of pepperocini, canned olives, and feta. They didn’t have a Greek or Italian dressing option so we ordered “house” dressing assuming it’d be some sort of oil and vinegar. It was watered down pizza sauce as far as I can tell, truly disgusting. The cheese pizza was edible but flavorless with hockey puck crust that could break a tooth. They also included a frozen croissant for some reason. This was a huge waste of time and money and so, so disappointing.
Used to be a favorite of mine... Not so much anymore. Neither the quality nor the quality is on par with other locations that offer similar items for a lower price and larger portions. The only main item thats just the same as everyone else is the pizza by the slice. Its good... But average. Ill still come by here on occasion when my main place isnt open, so theres that.
This place is fantastic! The service is genuine and friendly. The food is always fresh and tasty. Im from Upstate New York originally, so a local business serving delicious Italian food beings nostalgia. If youre looking for anchovies on your pizza slice, this place has it.
Facility was clean. Customer service/support was exceptionally friendly & informative. Order was completely within a timely manner consistent or better than the average establishment that serves this type food commodity. Would recommend this establishment to family, friends & general public.
We were visiting from out of town and decided to give this place a try based on reviews. It did not disappoint! The garlic bread was the best weve ever had and the pizza was delicious. Prices are reasonable and we got our food quickly. It also looked like you could order ahead and pick- up at the drive up window. Highly recommend!
Its ok. Seriously ok. I had such high hopes, i have lived in Brooklyn, NY. Boston and Miami where the best Italian food is, so i am spoiled. They serve an italian sausage hoagie with little bits of ground up sausage!! Who does that?!? Not a lot of sauce but ample cheese, the bread was good and they heat it in a pizza oven all right on the mark, but you do not use ground up no flavor sausage god! So i wanted to like this place I really did, so i go buy two slices of pie, simple pepperoni. It was ok, a little dry, sauce wasnt great and the crust was a little too hard, and the worst....no cheese to speak of. I know its TX I shouldnt expect much but these guys looked the part, i may give it another try or not, so disappointing 😕😔
Although Im not a regular customer; from past occasion visits to this fast-food business establishment, Ive had employees recognize me...not necessary, but definitely a plus in knowing before-hand a particular customers likes/dislikes in food preference(s) dishes. The employees/staff go beyond helping their customers in the knowledge (freshness, how prepared, prices, etc...) of said dishes offered. The times I did frequent this establishment there was always a eroua of excitement for pre-teens, teens, as well as young/adults. The wait from entering, sitting down, ordering, being served was definitely short at best...a good quality for a fast-food business. Im certainly not in any form/fashion/way a health inspector but, from the smells (kinda blended in w/various types foods being prepared), sights, & touches of area to actually consume the finished product... appeared to be clean/sanitized & in compliance w/health care protocols/procedures/COVID-19 policies. Ive checked around a little, since I conduct/partake in surveys/reviews/comments on similar fast-food type business establishment...this business rates/billing for same type foods are consistent and/or equal in dollar(s) value with other businesses offering similar service(s) within a certain area catered to a certain type (i.e: ppl who love pizza & pasta/etc). My apologies for such a LONG review...hey, my two daughters & I happen to LOVE (in reference to all the above positive qualities) this particular place thatd truly give a similar place (ex: Ch_cky Ch_ _se>>> [Oops!]) a run for its quality service(s) in ALL areas. Id most definitely recommend this business establishment to extended/immediate family, friends, & the general public. If your owners/manager(s), and/or franchise doesnt mind, I do promote businesses to the various social media websites platform(s) that Im assigned/affiliated with on a persistent/consistent daily basis.
Great New York style pizza and pasta! People make me feel like I am at my grandmothers house having a great Italian lunch. Reasonable prices so it wont hurt your wallet. Plenty of choices or make your own. Drive thru, sit in, dine out! Great quality, that is fast warm and delicious!
Not nearly as good as the Joe’s on Buffalo Gap. The pizza tastes average & I’m so disappointed that I spent over $30 dollars to receive basic mozzarella sticks, freezer pizza, & no calzone that I ordered (could have been Door Dash’s fault which is why I’m not giving them less than two stars). 10/10 do not recommend.
Consistently excellent quality and taste. A wide variety on the menu, and all at reasonable prices. A fresh salad bar (red tomatoes and green lettuce!!!), always. You cant ever go wrong by choosing Joes. These guys care about their customers. If I could give this place six stars, I would!
Joes on Treadaway is the kind of place locals always enjoy. The people are always friendly, food is very good and service is prompt and courteous. I tried the chicken fettuccini and it was delicious. I love their salad bar because you can get all the green olives you want- yum! I also love it because it is a nice quiet place to eat and have a conversation. So many restaurants are just too loud to enjoy with your friends or family.
To me its the best in the country. With little Italy on Ambler coming a very close second. Being from Buffalo NY I know wings, pizza and subs. There pizza is perfect. Stromboli, calzones and pasta dishes are out of this world also Small salad bar thats all you need. Prices are fair in a very courteous And the restaurant is very simple and clean. Well worth the stop you will not regret it. Enjoy!!
I love Joes Pizza and Subs. They have the best Chicken Fettuccine in town. They even beat out OG (Olive Garden) to me. The only thing is I cant eat there anymore because they too do not offer a gluten-free menu. Which is sad because I am a loyal customer. All they would need to do is buy or make gluten-free pasta and sauces and BAM!!! Theyd have me back for sure 😜❤
Rude I ordered 1 slice of pizza. Joe the owner put it in a white bag and when I got to my car it wasnt a piece of pizza anymore. Ill never go back again. Almost$5.00 for a slice. I think it was a racial environment. You just get that feeling when all the employees are white and nobody speaks to you but theyre speaking to every other patron that comes through it.
Pizza was great real ny style and Im a nyer, but the strimboli was the worst ive ever had it was like eating dog food wrapped in pizza dough, people running the place were very polite so i didnt want to complain. So bottom line great pizza im afraid to try anything else.
My mother and i recently ate there and honestly it was terrible. First my mom asked for extra Riccada cheese in her calzone and they didntThen after getting my alfrado there was a hair on the plate But i assumed it was mine (my hair is mint green almost blonde and about 6 inches brown roots ) after pretty much finishing my pasta i found anothet hair and decided to look at it closer since my hair is up and it was grey maybe blonde and too short to be mine. I put it to the side and was about to eat some bread and there was a small black hair on it. My mom then told the front who sent who i think was the owner (he has short black hair keep in mind) which when he got there made the biggest scene, he yelled and pointed out that my food was almost gone and wouldnt even listen to us. He literally yelled that he was trying to embarrass us in front of everyone there. The place is very un professional. The food wasnt worth the price and ill never go there again. I hope this will help someone
I have been frequenting Joes for the last two years. The food is always amazing and the prices are always low. I must say that my most recent visit I saw that they raised their prices some and the wait for my pizza was longer than it ever has been. Really my only two complaints about this place because the pizza is delicious!
Waited 30mins for chicken Alfredo and a side a marinara. I didnt mind because at least I knew it was be fresh, but when I got back to my hotel I found out they hadnt sealed my container right and it spilled through the bag and went all over my seats. The chicken was chewy and the sauce was very bland and they forgot my marinara sauce and to top it all off the bread was burned. The staff was not helpful or friendly, you could hear the cooks in the back yelling to the front guys and it all seemed a mess. Will not return.

2022-07-04Good pizza, salad bowl for 3.95 rather small, garlic bread came with no marinara sauce, usually does everywhere else. Saw everyone busing tables the are at,dont know if tradition or being nice. Just thought that was strange. Other than that, staff friendly and courteous. Stromboli delicious. Will probably come back.

2022-05-20Ordered a ham and cheese sub, there was VERY LITTLE ham, pretty sure no cheese, no pickles, no mayo, not much but a lot of lettuce. The bread was good, but not worth 10 dollars. I love subs, eat a lot of subway, but figured Id give them a try, not sure Ill go back.

2022-05-15Been here twice.I love NY style pizza and they come as close as you could hope for considering you are in Texas. On a good day they are about 70-80% on nailing NY style.BUT they were having a bad day on my second trip.I picked up a pie on the way home from work and it was awful. It looked and felt like they reheated another pie.It was dry, and the crust was like jerky. You are in Texas. Go get brisket at the shed or cook yourself a steak.

2022-06-23Reasonably priced food. Pizza was very greasy but it’s pizza so ok. My issue was simply getting a to-go cup. I saw the lady cashier hand one to a customer who had a regular cup but asked for a to-go cup as she was leaving and the gentleman behind me had one. However, when I asked if they had any, the guy (owner?) told me they they didn’t have them, when obviously they do. I would have paid for it, but wasn’t given that option, just flat out told no they didn’t have them. I had planned to bring my family back but likely won’t due to this. I know it may be be an insignificant issue to some, but to me it’s basic customer service, Why lie to me about having to-go cups and dismissing me?
