The restaurant is authentic Mexican food and delicious, their hand made tortillas are so fresh and hot...the price is really good for what you get! I love their customer service. Its our go to restaurant when were headed back to Dallas!
A Friend recommended the place. We met there.Good eats....I ordered a dish 🍽 called Divorced 🍳 Eggs for Breakfast. Great imagination!
The food was okay not impressed. Didn’t like the fact that I saw a special on kids meal for breakfast and since they didn’t had the juice that came with it, I couldn’t ordered that or substitute the juice for something else. We ordered some tortillas, didn’t get there after the fact that we were done eating. Later on we stated that we did not want the tortillas on our tab for we never received them. We find out the tortillas were on another table, the waitress gets them from that table and ask if we want them still. The kitchen lady gets upset at the waitress for messing up the order, and tells her to offer it again, we decline again. The waitress was very polite and I felt bad for her being in a situation where the kitchen lady or owner, whoever that was constantly telling her to offer us something that we didn’t want, for who knows if other people touched that food or anything else. The price for what we paid was a little pricey compared to other places. Overall, would I go again, probably not.

Very disappointed on the way we were treated by the waitress , very expensive and the portion they give is poor, my pancakes were cold and my taco had a hair on it , since we got in there there was a bad vibe from the waitresses, all I have to say is that dont take your problems you have at home to work because things like this happen. It was my first time going and will be my last hopefully they can learn a little customer service because they will bring this business down with them.
Excellent food, great service — what more do you need?The mole sauce (on chicken) was hot and tasty. The Mexican guacamole (with onions etc) was slightly underflavored — needed more garlic — but with the plentiful limes provided it came right up to taste.
The food was very good but the service was bad. We ordered bistek ranchero with beans and rice plate. The waitress got our order wrong, she brought us bistek ranchero tacos. When we told her she had gotten our order wrong, she mentioned that this mistake would look bad and come out on her. She corrected our order. But when we asked her for some other kind of tacos to go, she gave us the same darn tacos we had corrected her on earlier to our surprise after we had gotten home.
Their food and service are not worth the price. The tortillas were tiny. Not even chips and salsa were served. The food is very greasy. We received the tortillas after we got the other food and started eating. And there was a chicken bone in one of my kids tacos.
The food is made fresh and tastes great! Its authentic Mexican food, we always go for breakfast and its our favorite place. The coffee is also always fresh, I swear I drink 2+ cups.
The Food was Good, the Service was Good, but whatever you do dont ask for an Iced Tea to go...Sometimes a Restaurant might ask for .25 cents for a cup. Big Daddys, Texas Country Dinner, El Delrio Cocina...Free...Juanitas Charged me $4.32...Have you every felt ripped off? If you want to be then go to Juanitas...Never Again...
First time being at this restaurant and it was such a disappointment. I ordered enchiladas suizas, and it came with a free consome (soup). The consome had a good flavor but found a hair on my enchiladas and told the waitress. The waitress insisted to choose another plate but I refused 3 times and said I wasnt going to pay for the enchiladas plate. At the end, they charged me $3 for the consome that was such a small portion for $3. They charged me the $3 because I had finished it all. But they clearly stated at the beginning that it was for free! It made me very upset because they shouldnt have charged NOTHING AT ALL due to the fact that I found a hair on my plate. And $3 for that small portion of consome was just too expensive either way. Would I go back? Would I recommend it to people? OF COURSE NOT.
Food is pricey for what you get. Flavor is quite bland if it has any flavor at all. Meat is always leather tough and dry and if you send anything back, the owner charges the waitress your plate out of her pocket. Only one or 2 napkins are given to you and everything is upcharged
First time going there....I was very impressed. Great milanese and homemade corn tortillas.
We drove from South Padre to Brownsville to find some good mexica food/ breakfast and we did!Great food taste like our grandma was in the kitchen brought back lots of Sunday morning memories tortillas were the best and worth every penny, service was good and on point we revieved a smile as we walk in and full stomachs as we walked out, definitely a place to eat at!! Love the refried beans and the cake thought I think everyone should get a piece of cake not just the ones that order full plates, my sister and Mom got a tortilla taco and I divided my 2x1 inch piece of cake with them.
Being from out of town and not kowing where there would be a great place to eat, luckily found this place.Everything was wonderful.Food serve in a timely manner, plus its nice and hot, very polite staff.I recommend

Juanitas food was great, we got there at about 3:30 I asked for chip/salsa and the waitress told me I need to sell them to you, cuz its after lunch time, I told her Im asking for chips so yeah Ill pay for them, can you plz refried my beans she answered that is 1.50 extra ala okay...
Overall a very good place to eat real good food but you always have to ask for chips & salsa or ur missing something on your order.
Besides area of parking lot not being too nice, attendant, food & service was great.

It lacks flavor and they charge you the flour tortillas that accompany the dish. I ordered egg with crushed me and my companion the same with coffees and it was 20dlls. A bit expensive for the place. I would not go back

2021-01-03Food is good, nice home made flavor, small portions.Very traditional, old school, mexican cafeteria imagine.The reason Im giving 4 stars is because the food portions tend to be small, which I believe is because a lot of their customers are older age.The house specials come in bigger, which I prefer because of that same reason.I love their hand made tortillas.

2022-01-31Food is good but I paid cash and still got the 4% charge like I paid with a credit card. And on top of that the lady said she no longer had change and short changed me too. Check your receipts if you pay cash!!

2021-08-2615 dollars for breakfast. Little hole in the wall place and i paid that much (one taco not big at all, two small pancakes and tea THATS IT) The lady charged me 1.50 just for lettuce and tomato!!!! Food was decent but anyone who charges for lettuce and tomato which should come in a carne guisada taco.... NO im not going back!!!
