KEDPLASMA in other cities:
Great staff; the woman who was doing the screening at the booths on Thursday January 6, 2022, at 3pm. Is the best out of them all who has been patient enough with me and my pulse problems. Also very good at what she does and deserves a raise or promotion. Especially for working on her off days and working as many hours as she does.
Just finished their new donor schedule and I got to say they did a great job! Eveyone there is very kind and the atmosphere is very friendly! Easy to talk to and joke with. Dont get me wrong either it is a very professional setting as well. I had questions just because I am curious in nature and everyone knew what they were talking about and never made me feel stupid for asking. I really hate needles!!! Yet every phlebotomist did such an amazing job. Only time I was left with a bruise was the time the machine had an error and wouldnt draw my blood. Would highly recommend this place if you are planning on donating plasma!
I used to go here, was going to start back again but apparently you literally have to put the needle in your arm, & they hit start,THEN they can tell you the amount of plasma you will be donating...That is completely unacceptable. Losing excess plasma can be *very* dangerous & can cause you to have life threatening problems. No thank you
Kevin is so friendly and such an asset to your company! I always see him going out of his way to engage and welcome every person in the room. It is refreshing to see people who still take pride in their work and who go above and beyond to make a difference in the world today! Kevin absolutely embodies this idea and sets an example for others through his friendly and welcoming attitude. Great job!
The money is great compared to other plasma places. However the staff can tend to be a little aggressive a few hours before closing. Look working anywhere from 7am-7pm is stressful but when the staff is seemingly rushing everything in order to finish, it makes for an unpleasant experience. Some of the staff still hold a level of professionalism with the donor.I feel like with the amount of donors that come in, their should at least be an increase in phlebotomist on the floor. I feel like this location specifically is overwhelmed and understaffed.
Showed up to donate. They had two new donors so I figured I had some time. I guess I dosed off and when they woke me up 45min later the same 2 people were still waiting for a vein check. Apparently a 50> woman named Sparkle(what her visor says)runs this show. Seemingly care-free as she laughs with a handful of donors pay slips she forgot all about as she casually has a 10min conversation with a deferred donor. All while these guys wait for a 30 SECOND VEIN CHECK. Maybe put someone with time management skills and professionalism. I shouldnt had been here for 3 hours in a nearly empty lobby. Everyone on this shift needs to tighten up.
Blood pressure/pulse reading machines are not calibrated correctly. How can a doner have a good blood pressure reading but high pulse rate, then be asked to sit for 5-10 mins and come back for a 2nd reading then the machine is giving a C error-3 times??? Yall need to replace or correctly fix the blood pressure/pulse machines, Ked is losing lots of money having to turn folks away from donating for either having too high/low readings!!! I see this often at the Forest Lane Dallas, Tx location... I would give this location a 5 star because I enjoy coming to this location to donate and the employees are awesome, except a few, but I have been turned away 3 times now due to this situation SMH
This location has a terrible management staff. Tony and Sparkle In particular who spoke to me with no respect and with an attitude. They refused to give me the manager over them as well as the corporate contact information, I had to call some other locations and do some digging to get it. Staff made mistakes causing me to be there over 2 hrs and 30min. This is not a location that I would recommend going to.
The place is awful... they are super slow when its not even busy. Bad attitudes, even when you call them. Their rates arent as competitive as other donation centers. I will definitely NOT be going back. I dont understand how the owners do not realize their business is in shambles because of a poor choice in employees
2nd time return new donor, I tried to come in to do my questions twice, I did them get to kiosk only to be told I didn’t do my questions and had to do them again. I was pressed for time the first time so I said I’ll try again another day. I go in today 12-19-21 and same thing happens. I explained it to who ever is on duty only to be told there’s nothing they can do except make me redo the questions again… Seriously?
There slower than slow. Seem like common sense is something they all have never had. group of women on a power trip is a dangerous situation. There is no sense of urgency here at all. Employees act like they are first class doctors and nurses... Please place need to be shut down. Starting in HR, Hiring manager, ECT...
I have donated at another center before and by far kedplasma is awesome I love the rewards they give out doing rewiews for prizes takes all of a min the staff has a reasonable attitude Everytime I come, and facility is always clean, Jeremiah is the best he always makes me laugh and sticks me perfectly he always has a smile on his face and great conversation always around to give a helping hand ....
Im giving this center 4 stars since ranked amongst a few unnamed centers, theyre pretty good. Also that Rick and Jesse are awesome. Rick was extremely accommodating for me as Ive had issues the past few times Ive tried to donate here. Jesse is always so nice and just makes the whole being stuck with a needle a little less unbearable. Also a few more unnamed (I dont know their names) are really cool.My issue though (which had now been resolved) is how unorganized they can be. I have been a donor since this location was immunotek, since they slowly started becoming ked plasma I had to be turned away twice. First time was because i donated at a ked plasma 3 years prior and so my profiles had to be merged which required management and their IT guy, so I was called back the next day to be told everything is merged and I can come back. Well 3 weeks later (yesterday) i go to donate and am once again turned around as Im now considered a new donor. (In the long run thats cool because ya know more pay) but I was extremely frustrated, not at the staff themselves but the whole situation, because I wasnt told this and now here I am needing my ID, social and proof of address. I wasnt informed I was a new donor, I found out by having to ask if I was being worked up as a new donor. My frustration was with the whole situation because there was no communication (either time) BUT having an employee, a manager I believe, acting like she could care less made it worse. Im really nonchalant about a lot of things because things arent always in the employees hands but showing some empathy and kindness can go a long way.Other than that. Yeah come donate here.
KEDPLASMA of Dallas is nestled in the Forestview Plaza shopping center on Forest Lane @ Shepherd. The staff are often friendly and professional. The facility is very clean.*NOTE: Due to COVID, the center have been challenged with staffing issues. So prepare to be patient. This location allow you to help others, by donating plasma twice a week. The bonuses are great! This allows you to put more money in your pocket.Make sure you take advantage of the KEDPLASMA Rewards program. You are eligible for gas cards, restaurant gift cards, Amazon, and Walmart gift cards.KEDPLASMA also have an awesome referral program. Bring a buddy with you and you may receive additional compensation. If you tell them donor: 168028 referred you, I will personally see to it you received an additional $20.00 on your third donation. So what are you waiting for? Come in and donate today! Be sure to bring two forms of ID with you and a proof of residence.*Note: First donations always take longe due to processing of new clients. You will review educational materials, watch a video, complete medical questionnaire, and physical screening prior to donating on the floor.
They offer extra money for donating plasma if you had tested positive for covid 19 and subsequently tested negative, but refuse to honor that offer unless your test uses the term positive only. The CDC says that their are two terms acceptable to be used for a positive test, positive-abnormal and detected-abnormal, but they, smarter than the CDC, refuse to accept detected-abnormal as a true positive. The lab that did my covid19 test even sent me an email stating that positive and detected are one in the same, but the staff refused to accept that. I personally think that the offer is a scam to get people to reveal their positive tests without paying extra, to be able to sell the covid plasma for a higher price.

2022-04-20The facility is usually clean, most of the staff are efficient, but not all of them. The pay scale is comparable to other centers. Some associates tell me promotions only apply to certain groups, while others say theyre open to more. Today I rushed back from my trip (spent extra gas going a little over the speed limit) to make sure I arrived by 6:58... but, the doors were already locked. An associate walked out at 6:59, & even though Im a baby donor, so I probably would have been done before whomever showed up before me, they didnt care I spent my time, energy & money to get there. So, their hours of operation that they have listed are apparently flexible to whomever happens to have the keys that day... Maybe you have to show up at 6:55, who knows, but 7pm is not when they lock the door. Just thought Id let you know so nobody else ends up frustrated like me.

2022-04-13Charmel is by far the best I’ve encountered. I remember coming in at the being of the year she was always at work even on her off days helping staffing, working longer hours, sacrificing her time to make sure staff was not behind on attendance. She always have a warm spirit, very welcoming, has great leadership skills, and very great at her job I must say! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK CHARMEL!

2022-04-28Location here is terrible staff is rude and the manager Boni is even worse. Plan I being at this location for a while as they have no sense of urgency and refuse to respect your time. They believe that every person coming to donate I desperate for money. This allows them to feel like they can treat anyone how they want. Also other places are way better to donate if you need the money. The only pay you 25$ after your first 8 sessions in your first month.

2022-07-21This place use to run like a well oiled machine. It appears that all the people that were fast and competent at their jobs have moved on. It is now incredibly slow and disorganized. If you value your time then find a different location.

2022-03-14Waited an hour after watching the video just sitting there! I started reading a book, just for some white lady with ginger hair “Sarah” to come over and tell new donors to put there phones away. Stating, “They’re not supposed to be out anyways!” Well if you all were properly doing your jobs, when Niesha was calling for help for an hour someone would have responded promptly! There was another black lady who was super professional and doing her best to check everyone in. Ate breakfast now I’m starving and still no donor # yet.

2022-08-01Be prepared to wait for two-three hours plus the one hour to get blood drawn. Depending on how much your getting paid… it may not be worth the wait. Update, I have made 4 visits here. Although the phlebotomists in the back are nice… there is one person upfront that seems to enjoy belittling people. I should probably mentioned that when I did my intake I got there at 7 am but was not done till almost 12. I seen others get attended even when they arrived an hour after me. I shrugged it off as it seemed the one with the bad attitude was training. A red flag should have been how she kept over dramatically shaming the trainee on her mistakes. I just had enough of bad mood, eyes rolling, and making it seem like im bothering. I will not be coming back after my 8 are done. Not that they care. I suggest going to CSL plasma on Abrams rd. They pay more, have online check in, and staff is professional. They also do not have set days for you to go in. Kedplasma dose have set days. They will not allow you to come in earlier, even if you hadn’t donated in two days. Hope this review helps.

2022-07-24I am filing a lawsuit,I ask to be taken down from the procedure&my requests was denied. I spoke to center manager he said I should have been taken down but there was no compensation given for my time or violated rights. Also the unprofessional staff they have is unbelievable&i cant believe their still employed. Very rude, Dishonest, Angry,Obnoxious, Disrespectful, Arrogant, Childish, and much more. I will never donate again in my life&I pray they all get fired and close the center Amen

2021-12-13I love coming here. Kat is extremely professional and helpful. I also am really grateful for the pregnant woman up front for always being so friendly to me. This place had one of the quickest new donor procedures Ive encountered! Never a lot of waiting, like at other facilities.
