I do not recommend this company unless you have a completely open schedule for last minute rescheduling, like unresponsiveness, and do not mind being over charged! Oh, an lets not forget, not getting what you signed up and paid for.My experience with this company has not been good. With the exception of my Initial service, 4 of the 5 services were incomplete and rescheduled by this company by email on the day THEY set to come out. No phone call. When someone finally does come, half completed work, issues with equipment, or trainee forgot. If not for the cameras that record all around home, I would not have known.To make matters worst, I discovered I have been over charged every month. A warranty for a service I never received was added to my invoices and have been withdrawn through auto pay. When I contacted the company ( two emails and a phone call) to inquire about the charge, I was told I would have to pay an additional $199 for the service although I had already been charged and paid for a warranty without my consent or knowledge.When I asked for a refund, I was told it would be issued within 3 to 5 business day. A week later, no refund received, yet, ANOTHER CHARGE for the same warranty was taken. I called back. Not only did the Customer Service Rep lie about how many months I had been over charged, she went on to say I could not receive a refund, but instead, get a credit because the company has no way of returning the money to my bank account; THE SAME ACCOUNT ON FILE THAT WAS BEING CHARGED!I advised her I didnt want a credit because my contract was up and to cancel immediately. I was then told I would have to email the owner and speak to someone else to cancel. When I asked to speak to the two people she mentioned, conveniently, no one was in the office. She said someone would call me back. That was Thursday, June 23, 2022. Its now Sunday. No call. No email. No refund.I have deleted the auto pay, will be filing a dispute with my bank, and contact the Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney General.
Marco and his assistant did an amazing job! They were on time, professional, helped me move things out of the way to reach places that were otherwise compromised and blocked with stuff. Thank you as well, Kelvin, for getting me signed up with yalls company. Not only was he a friendly young man, he is also a good salesman. I look forward to seeing them to take care of my insect issues.
I really enjoy the customer service provided by this company! From the initial sale, which was awesome, to today’s initial service completed today. In 30 days they come back out as part of their routine service. Ivan did a great job explaining the details of my service and providing solutions as well as answering my questions. I’m very pleased with Kindred!
Justin was on time and very professional. He showed ownership of his work and respected our private space. Justin ended the service with the appropriate reminders for my pets, what to expect after the service, and noted that I can call if we have any issues. Highly recommended!
The gentlemen that arrived worked efficiently and ahead of schedule. Their follow up was incredible and when I realized they missed spraying my garage because I was multi-tasking with work, they promptly returned to address the issue. Brandon and Jordan were great and I look forward to seeing them next month when they return to initiate the quarterly service after their initial start up service.
Exceptional service by three individuals, to start off with Landen who gave me peace in mind with what I was signing up with. I’ve had previous experience with another pest control company and was skeptical on trusting another. The two technicians Brandon Q and Jordan came today and we’re swift and polite. Overall I am surprisingly pleased with the whole experience, thanks guys.
I signed up for extermination services after the owner came knocking on my door, however, the services that I paid for was not what I got. When Mr. King came, I was informed they would sweep (eves), spray for bugs, and even treat the yard (I even paid extra to insure all my property was covered). Well after several treatments and still having a problem with ants and bugs, I called and spoke with the receptionist. She was clueless when I asked her about my services, she couldn’t even tell me what they services they offer, I scheduled another treatment. Kindred came back out again and I’m still having problems. I called Mr. King and left him several messages and never I heard back. I finally canceled my services, but when I called back the same girl answered the phone really didn’t seem to care when I explained why I was canceling. The most shocking part is they back charged me.
Charles was punctual and polite. At first he didn’t spray the exterior walls “3 feet up and 3 feet out” like the salesperson said was included in the quarterly service. I asked him about that and he said, “the salespeople say a lot of things.” But, he did spray the walls without complaint. Our first treatment was more thorough. Some rooms were missed in this treatment. The laundry room, second bathroom, and small living room were not treated. Our previous service person also sprayed the garage and left sticky traps, but that was not done this time.
Matt, thank you. You accommodated me by spraying my garage first. You also changed the 2sticky traps and put them in your truck which spared me from seeing all the bugs etc on them. I am sorry for the delay in writing this review, but I really don’t like putting reviews out to the public as it requires too much info. Kudos to Matt for his work and kindness.
We have had a number of experiences with Kindred. Today, we really enjoyed our service with Trey. He was polite, easy to talk to and very friendly.We have been with Kindred for a few years now. Although it sometimes is difficult to get the best window for service, Trey was flexible. He not only waited until the time was convenient for us but was very clear about his flexibility to serve his customers.It’s not always easy to arrange pest control visits, but we will stay with Kindred because of employees like Trey.
Brian came out and explained the process very well. He did a great job, and even though it rained, he was able to get all the necessary items checked off while being very knowledgeable on all things. This was our first experience/visit from a Kindred representative and we look forward to many more. Great work!
Lorenzo was awesome! We had great communication and today that was important. Had a long night so once he texted me I told him I was gonna nap and gave him instructions. He gave me his ETA and I set my alarm. He was quick but very thorough. I really love this company. They have great technicians. Thank you Lorenzo!
Joshua W. did a thorough job during is visit today. He called 15 minutes before he arrived. He wore shoe covers in my house. He treated the inside and outside, swept cobwebs, and covered the entire yard. I have been using Kindred for several years and Joshua W. was the best and most professional technician yet.
I would highly recommend Kindred pest control to any new or existing Homeowner. We had Adrian, Kindred technician, come out and re-service the exterior due to a large ant pile we had in our backyard. Not only did he take care of that pile but he inspected entire yard thoroughly and found another ant pile that we had not noticed but he pointed out and immediately took care of for us. Great job Adrian!
Justin and Royce came out promptly to service my home for pest control. They were friendly and courteous. Very professional, neatly groomed, and provided excellent explanations of the procedures and chemicals that will be used in the treatment. I highly recommend Kindred Pest Control for your pest control services.
I have been using Kindred for over 2 years now and I have never been disappointed. Today, our technician Damien noticed a wasp was about to get inside while we were talking. He immediately started looking around for the nest. I mentioned we have had a few wasps inside the house over the last month. He went around by both our exterior doors and knocked down all the nests. Thank you Damien for your professionalism and all that you did today! Thank you Kindred for always providing quality technicians and service!
Mr. Michael VeAn was beyond VERY PROFESSIONAL and on time. He was able to explain and be very detailed on the service he was providing to me an my family. I definitely recommend this company to everyone else who needs this type of service. This young man was phenomenal.
Ivan did an excellent job explaining the services to us. Very professional and detail oriented. Cant wait to see Kindred back here for the follow on. This was our first session from any pest provider since we left Orkin (post Sure Pest acquisition). Its real good to see pest companies that use the organic chemicals to reduce some of those carcinogens around us.
I do not know how this company gets all the good reviews. After my initial treatment they have never showed back up. To date, they have scheduled to provide treatment 3 times and the day before each time they claimed they have had an emergency and will get back with me when they can reschedule. They claimed during their sales pitch that for their service to be the most effective, that they needed to retreat within 30 days of the initial treatment. Well Im past that 30 day window. So now does that make their treatment process less effective if and when they ever do show up. I would give them a 0 star rating but the system does not allow for that. Based on their performance or lack there of, I would not recommend this company to anybody.
Tevin was very informative and efficient. On time and was very professional. He was helpful in answering all my questions. I was impressed with Kindred in all the pest that they covered especially that flea and ticks were included in price. They also provided a mosquito treatment.
Not sure about Kindred itself, but Lorenzo was amazing. Totally flexible and willing to go above and beyond while also upholding company policy. He came out twice as we kept having an ant problem. The second time he came out he gutted the place as far as company policy would allow and then kept at it with the help of my husband. Before he was done he located a nest of brown recluse spiders we were totally unaware of and found one black widow. I can’t believe my dogs and kids were hanging there all this time with danger lurking just beneath them. Thank you, Lorenzo. Be blessed
Trey came out this morning to do a redo spray with a wasp problem weve been having. He was quick, efficient and personable. Im on their quarterly service and when I needed them to come back to take care of it in the Houston heat, they were back the following morning, no questions asked and no charge.
I had the pleasure of working with Geronimo LeBaron and Adrian Escobar about the services. Geronimo was well versed in Kindred Services. I really enjoyed his presentation . Adrian was my technician. He was on time, very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and paid attention to detail. Told me about a couple of things to keep an eye out for. Very happy with my choice
Josh W. was on time, friendly, and professional. I opened the door to greet him, and he was already working on getting rid of 2 wasps nests above our entry way. He doubled back to make sure they were gone before he left. Josh also took into consideration the areas of our yard that may need some extra treatment and made sure they were taken care of.
Just had our second service with Kindred; so far, they have been awesome. Chancy, our sales rep, was extremely approachable and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable and confident about choosing Kindred. The service techs who have come out have been so professional and friendly. Jeremy, who did our 2nd treatment, let me know what time he’d arrive, came on time, was very friendly, professional and non-intrusive. He did is job quickly and thoroughly. Only good experiences with this company’s people.So far we have seen a dramatic drop in insect activity, notwithstanding the 2nd lifecycle they just treated for, just as they said.
So far, they have been professional and on time. They were here when they said the would be here. Initially, the gentleman removed a wasp nest near the front door and about a million spiders from the roof of our front porch. Lots of roaches dead initially. Today, they came back for the one-month follow up. The young man was so polite and professional. They were unable to treat the yard due to the feral cats, but thats ok. I didnt want to harm the feral fur babies.
Kindred continues to keep pests out of my home! We previously had severe on-going issues with ants. I switched to Kindred from another provider a few years and we havent seen any ants in our house since then. Brandon G. performed my quarterly service today. He was thorough in his explanation of the service and he worked dilligently and efficiently to get the job done.
These people do not respect the no solicitation signs. we also have a huge tape on the doorbell that says do not ring. they still knocked very loudly and rang the bell. i just had major surgery and have a newborn amd could barely get up to get the door. it sounded urgent. the rep showed no remorse or respect whatsoever. he was rude and sarcastic when i asked him to please respect the no solicitation sign. they could have left a card or flier. it’s too bad because we were actually looking for that kind of service, but will not be dealing with this rude company.
Kindred has been very responsive and quick to respond. The plan and follow through is quick and efficient. Jeremy in particular listened well to my concerns to try and root out and lingering bug problems. I like that if there is any outstanding bug issues beyong what they plan for there to be you can call to have them take care of it at no extra charge.
My contract ended a few days ago decided not to renew a year contract, well today they come to my door asking why I wasn’t keeping my contract after he wouldn’t take no for an answer I said look I have a sick kid we just got back into town NO! And shut the door! Plz do not keep coming to my door asking me why I didn’t want to renew my contract. None of your GD business why. And now they def lost a customer. I don’t like that.UPDATE CALLED THEM AND WAS ON HOLD FOR 15 minutes oh so they can’t answer the phone but have no problem sending guys to your door. How ironic huh 🤔
Lorenzo arrived on time and explained in detail everything that he was going to check for. After inspecting he informed me that my garden was playing host to a lot of the ants that were taking over. He explained how the treatment worked and was just an overall friendly individual.
NOT CUSTOMER CENTRIC - I am very disappointed with my recent interaction and will never refer anyone to this company. I contacted customer service to discontinue my quarterly service and was informed I had not completed the 1 year agreement and would owe $160 to discontinue the service even though they do not service the area in which I am moving to. This just seems to be a very poor customer centric business model. Lesson learned I will never refer them to anyone.
Les convinced me to switch from Aptive lowering my annual bills and Justin followed through the same day with the initial service. Both were exceptionally professional, received text notification before service, and Kindred delivered on a more comprehensive service than my previous contract.
They are charging me for service not rendered… they send out techs when they want! first I told them I was not available that day and the tech claimed he completed the service. No one was home so he did not service the inside of my house nor the back yard. They will not make it right and now sending me bills with late fees… they are the worst! Do not use them, they are after your money and don’t care about customer service or customer satisfaction!
I had to update my review since I was not the one who actually entered it. After the techinician got finished with the first service, they asked for my phone and entered their own review. Oddest business practice Ive ever experienced. Also mildly overpriced compared to all the other competition, I am paying $114 a quarter. Other than that, everything has been ok thus far.
Do not believe the 4.5+ star ratings on google. I am not sure if they use some program to keep it over 4.5+. These guys are the worst pest control i ever had. The sales person - Mason - says all kinds of lies about their service inorder to get your business. But what they perform is not even 10% of what they say they perform. This is a total ripoff company. So cleverly they didnt have a trial option. So once you signup based on their lies, you are done and stuck with their one year contract. If you decide to cancel, they will add a hefty fine (close to $300).The service guys do not perform all the services per the agreement but just say that they have instructions to perform very basic pest spray treatment (interior & exterior) in their memo. Same thing continued even i after i called the customer service and instructed them specifically to add everything on my service memo. Their service guys are rude and intimidating.To be honest, this $100+ each time for basic interior & exterior spray treatment doesnt really worth it. you can DYI with better product for just 1/4 of what you pay them.BEWARE!!! Try to stay away from these people. Your current provider could never be worse than these people in any sense.
They will come into my neighborhood at late hours and knock until you open the door...no matter if you are sick in bed and recovering. Other times Ive said Im not interested politely or eating dinner and wont leave until I close the door on them. A company this inconsiderate is not one I would trust is really looking out for their customers. Im not one to usually leave reviews but this experience deserves one.
Jada told me to give her my phone to add a review. I was confuse bcs I’m suppose to write a review. She came in at 7:30 my appointment was btw 5-7 pm she showed at 7:30. She sprayed for the ants, and gave me something for the ants on the windows. Everything was fine until she write her own review???? Never happened before!!
This place is the worst place ever. The guy that came out and sold me there lame service said they clean all the debris they kill even kill mosquitoes. That shouldve been my sign there but no I didnt see it till later. The 1st visit they were there less 5 minutes knocked on door I came out said they were done. Look above my head on porch big wasp nest. Really. I tell them I am not liking the service I want to cancel they tell me they are going to charge ridiculous amount did Still dealing with them. Yard full of ants so is house even got frogs. They tell me the just came out. Whatever they forgot their ants. And frogs this place by far the worst I have ever seen. They should be paying me for the money and time and frustrations that I am out. This place sucks.
My service technician Adrian went above and beyond today. I have a 24 ft plus patio ceiling in my backyard and it had a ton of moth nest and spider webs which were too high for me to reach. I asked Adrian if he could sweep them down and less than 10 mins later he had completed the entire 700 sqft patio roof and the 500 sqft pergula roof next to it. He did all of this in 107 degree temp. Talk about professional and dedication to his job. This young man is a hard worker and you would be lucky if he serviced your home.
I really wanted to like Kindred. It is all false promises. Landen came door to door and we spoke for probably 30 minutes about their services and he promised me they would take care of me and do everything including: spray everywhere for mosquitos, refill the bait stations from my previous pest control company, put traps in my attic, and dust the eves of my home, all while being just slightly more expensive then my current company.They failed miserably. They were using the sales technique of that they are going to be in the area and offering a discount. Which I understand the tactic good for them. However, their technician didnt show during the appointment time. I was told if hes running late then I would get a call text or email. I got none. I texted Landen and he immediately got the technician to come over and started performing the service. However, the technician knew nothing of the promises that Landen had made. He did not ask about the bait boxes, he did not ask about the glue traps in the attic. And when I brought it up, he asked me for bait to use.I then went to check and the traps were untouched, the eves had tons of cobwebs, and the traps in my attic were doing absolutely nothing. I called them to have them come redo what they said they were going to do. I also alerted Landen to these issues which he apologized profusely and said they would make it right.Come Saturday, they once again did not show, no notification whatsoever. Of course the office is closed when I called so I left a voicemail. Come the next business day, no answer to my voicemail, they just picked a new time for them to come to my house.I called and got my contract cancelled. Absolute waste of $50 and two Saturdays. Avoid at all cost. I will be going back to Bugco.The only saving grace is Landen and the ladies on the phone in the office were very nice and pleasant to deal with.
This is a shame company. Sales person promises for excellent and multiple services but in reality they dont provide half of them. I recently switch this company from Home team pest defense, and this guy starts amazing, i have many spiders issue plus other creatures on my patio for a while and home team did not find solutions even they did not know small black things over my patio after switch this company with their initial service , Dominick came honestly did not have high expectations but once i addresses the problem without seeing even he said those are spiders nests then treat all patio, and able to get rid of all spiders so thumbs up for me 5 starts job, seems i found my pest control here - so far so good thanks for Dominic and Kindred Pest control..
Mr Trey has the best professional attitude and hes also he has so much accuracy when it comes to the eliminating my pest he has made my life much more better without pest around my house he is the future of pest control thank you to the corporation Kendred for an employee that provides that much professionality at all times.... thank you
I had an appointment this past Saturday and waited for additional 2 hours for someone to show up and they never did, so I called on Tuesday to see why and they said that the guy was behind so they rescheduled me and gave me an extra $30 for the inconvenience and tevin came out today and did a very nice job. I am well please With this company.
Your salesman has been actively soliciting in a no soliciting allowed subdivision and HOA for at least 2 weeks. He has been told to leave. He does not. He has been confronted by at least 2 visits from the local sheriff as he is trespassing on our property to solicit his services. This is disrespectful of communities and their standards. Will never do business with this service.
I feel as if Sabria with kindred pest control did a thorough job at exterminating my home and my yard. She did not rush she talked with me and explained what she was doing and what each product was used for today I am pleased I can only hope and pray that I will be pleased a month from today. Thanks so much Kindred pest control and a shout out to Sabria.
One of their door-to-door sales people menaced my wife when he attempted to get her to buy kindred services. I am filing a police report and will seek to legally bar this company from going door-to-door in my neighborhood. If you see their sales people in your neighborhood be prepared to defend yourself
Antonio R. did our initial pest control session at the house. He was extremely thorough with spraying, was very knowledgeable, and was so nice! He did such a great job and helped me understand what all he did to the house, front yard, and back yard. My family loves Kindred! I highly recommend!
Brandon G - great service! Had them at my old house and never had an issue. Moved into a new house and noticed bug issues on move in. Called Kindred to get service transferred and after the first treatment and a repeat treatment or two we are back to having no issues for 6 months. Staff is always friendly and if you see anything between quarterly treatments they come back out at no charge.
Always prompt and professional with great communication. Walter came by today after reaching and letting me know he could come early. That worked out great because we had another commitment move up on our schedule. Walter was courteous and asked great questions about our pest control needs. Again, great communication and service!
Both Michael VeAn and Jamal came out and took care of us today. They were very professional and thorough. When we asked for special care with certain areas, they were very accommodating! Weve used Kindred for over a year now and have been very pleased with the results.

2022-07-23This company is very unprofessional from the beginning we’ve had problems. They come to your house to sell their services and they didn’t do anything they said they would. They came out to reservice and still didn’t do what they said they would. Owner said to give them another chance after we found a company that would do what we asked. They set up an appointment for July 2 I got a text they would be out between 8:15 and 10:15 and no one ever showed. I called office said they were closed. I texted owner no answer. I texted and called owners sister she responded but after I told her no one was at my house yet as of noon no response! I’ll attach the photos of what my house looked like after they came out and serviced and it’s worse than what the pictures show!Update:As of 07/23 I have made several calls and messages to cancel my service and no one has reached out as of today. The owners sister has called to apologize but no one from the office has answered the phone or reached out. I was told they have new people working that don’t know what they are doing then she told me they all got Covid so I don’t know. They don’t know how to run a business.

He asked the right questions to determine our needs coupled with the expected service. I was quite surprised that this was his first week as his overall temperament led me to believe that he was working for the company for a while. Ultra respectful as he called me sir during the entire visit.... Charles ended the service with the appropriate reminders for my pets, what to expect after the service, and noted that I can call if we have any issues. 2022-08-03Damage was done to my home the 2nd treatment. Since a week ago I’ve been calling , sent email with pics , text, and submitted to their website. Management still hasn’t contacted me. Tech very thorough, but damage was done to my home while removing a wasp nest. Even if the company won’t reimburse me , at least acknowledge my complaint, and try to accommodate me in some way. Very disappointed.

2022-07-31Kindred came out earlier in the week to tell us of their services and we decided to give them a try. Trey Hicks was our service provider and was as knowledgeable as he was on time. He thoroughly went throughout the entire house and made sure to see if there was anything specific we’d seen and wanted to treat. He then went outside covering the entire perimeter as well as the garage informing us of what to expect next.He was very professional and careful to ensure he protected our privacy by asking if any rooms were off limits.We are excited to see how well the service will be in the coming months. We do not have any major bug concerns but enjoy the comfort in knowing we have a great company providing great service

2022-07-07My home was treated by technicians Conan and Jada and I was beyond pleased with their work. They were very kind, punctual, organized, respectful, and they got the job done very quickly. The process was painless and I loved that I was still able to get things done in my home while they worked. Overall, I had a great experience working with them and their professionalism was top tier! Highly recommended with phenomenal technicians and service!

2022-05-26Cool sign up rep, cant remember her name. Spanish Chica with a lovely demeanor, explained the process well. Brian showed up on time the next morning, gave us recommendations and completed service with a smile. Very thorough, felt very comfortable with the process even though a stranger showed up at my door, she made us feel comfortable and not sold to. Brian wrapped it up with excellent customer service, in these times as hard as it is to let randoms in your home he showed respect, explained the process and tip toed room to room with no issues. Outside work was done well before I could mention the issues. From what I witnessed, the staff is a professional, knowledgeable team to get the job done. We appreciate professional service as a business owners. Check pest control off the list when you hire Kindred, best of luck!

2022-08-10Jeremy came to our house this evening to spray our yard for ants, and I am very pleased! This courteous young man actually read the sign on the doorbell that says “babies napping please don’t ring bell.” Most people just ignore the sign, but he read it and was respectful and understanding. I truly appreciate that. In addition, he was very nice and responsive through text leading up to the appointment, and then was very polite when he arrived, even though it was late in the evening and I’m sure he was ready to end the day. All in all, my wife and I are both very pleased and will recommend him to anyone.

2022-07-12Tony was an amazing help. He came in, was very quick yet thorough. He made sure to ask of any trouble spots and wanted to ensure we had the best care. We have had issues with consistency with pest control companies, however, Kindred is the best. We will continue to use them and are so happy they stopped by.

2022-06-13I completed my last service and cancelled my contract for future services after completing the contractual agreement. However my last service done was not up to the mark and upon requesting a reservice to ensure no bugs and ants , i was told since I cancelled my account so they cannot help me. So the service I paid for has no warranty just coz I am no longer under contract.
