Always a great experience.. The security guard always friendly, the girls at register quick and the hispanic guy Omg he us brilliant. U ask him about a product is n he will take u directly to the isle..great place for ANY hair products and they have cute sunglasses and accessories.
Good barber products. They even had limited edition clippers I couldnt find anywhere else.
Worst customer service experience ever.if you don’t understand english, hire someone that does. this sign was everywhere and when i inquired about the deal, i got so much pushback and the store owner (hopefully she isn’t) who mainly spoke spanish, was telling me and other people the wrong information. i was going to buy a human hair blend (which is BOTH human and synthetic) but she said it’s not included in the sale cause it’s only for human hair. the sign also includes synthetic. i guess they thought i was lying 😂
As a local, I love the supplies here and the inventory but the girls in the back handling the wig section will watch you walk up to the counter and won’t say anything til you ask them a question. Customer service needs professional work.
I used to enjoy coming here but I guess they have new management. The employees are not helpful and they never acknowledge anyone.

Huge selections hair, nail, makeup, jewelry, clothing, styling tools, and other accessories. My first choice in stores.

I visited this store and purchased 23 pin on flowers for a funeral. Prior to purchasing the flowers I spoke with two store workers and asked could I return any of the pin on flowers if I didnt need them all for the funeral. I was told yes by both workers. When I returned a few days later I was told I could not return the flowers by a manager who was rather rude. And then the security guard asked me to come back in the morning to speak with the head manager, which I did. I returned the next day and the lead manager told me to send an email to the owners of the store. I did as well and asked for an exchange, not a refund and I was told no.I will never shop at this store again. The workers, the managers and the store owners are not all on the same page and should not tell their customers one thing and apply another approach.No consideration was given on my behalf.Buyers Beware...Make Sure You Are 100% Sure Before Purchasing Anything From This Store!!!
They always have a great variety of wigs as well as products to choose from whether it be hair products or fashion accessories. Their prices are affordable as well. I don’t care for the new pin system they have in regards to their reward program. It just seems like another (useless) pin to remember, but other than this it’s a great place to shop for your hair needs.
The only reliable supply store that I can count on to have the brand of hair or products that I need. (Especially products mentioned from YouTube )Ive been coming to this Beauty Supply since college and they have never let me down. I also live an hr away and when I cant find a specific thing at my local supply store I know that I can always count on Kiwi! They offer discounts for barbers, military, and veterans. Large selection and great prices. The clippers were high priced compared to other supply store nearby but everything else decent pricing and really nice selection for beard care and shaving needs. Cant say much about hair extensions as I never used them

I always come here to get one specific perfume oil I will wear until I am a dead old woman.There is a joke behind why I will wear this oil for the rest of my life...I come to KIWI in Arlington from Joshua for all my beauty needs and will continue to do so until I can no longer.
Has all the product a person can want and clothes, make-up, jewelry and wigs. Me and my sister love coming here. The more you buy the more you get back if you sign up for there store with them at the register for free too.
Yea they Had a good selection of hair and accessories hair products however was a bit over priced crowded and they had a security gaurd there in the store
This store always sucks when I come … I just left and I thought I bought a pair of matching sweats and jacket but somebody put two xl sweatpants on one hanger and when I went to go ask to exchange it a man at the door just shut the door on me even though they had three minutes left…. Really unprofessional and rude. The way they treat customers is absolute trash
They are really helpful and the store is organized and clean. They have newer demo wigs versus old dried out wigs on display like this other large beauty supply store I use to frequent. Keep it up!

This store has grown so much its astonishing. You can tell by how crowded it is. Almost anything you need for your hair will be there. They are still trying to expand the place and the products keep increasing. The best part is that I actually found that products were slightly cheaper compared to another store Ive been going to. Check out is fast too despite the crowd. I love the way it feels like a mall for naturals.

The girl at the counter was very rude and the staff acted as if I was trying to steal something. When asked for help with finding a wig for a Halloween costume the lady got bothered that I had no knowledge in the purchase of wigs n continued to act as if I was stealing even more. I ended up at shes happy hair n ot was a completely different experience
I will keep coming to this place as long as their customer service stays great. Its huge place, and feels congested, but the people who work there have left a good impression on me, the two times that I have visited.
Love the new look. Love the place but HATE opening my purchases and its like breaking into a vault. I understand its retail and it has its pros and cons, but all of your customers DO NOT STEAL. I cant afford to break another nail or cut myself using a sharp object to open my purchases. This may all be a huge conglomerate but back to Jenny I go.
Great selection of products but bad customer service!! Employees have no respect for customers and it shows. Store was almost closed when I was checking out. One of the employees shut the door and locked the door on me, I brushed it off. I then realized I left my card in the store. I went back to the door and to ask for my card. First off, the employee who shut the door was standing there completely disregarded me. I started knocking the door and another guy came, he listened and asked for my name went back in the store. I saw someone hand him my card and he read it and stuck it in his pocket. I then told him I saw him look at the card and he wouldn’t give it back. After a few words, he gave it back. Moral of this long story, they have NO RESPECT especially for African american (ones that really shop here)

I used to enjoy visiting kiwi because they have so many things to choose from. Recently though, their customer service has been terrible. They run after you like you are stealing something from them. I don’t know when this behavior all started but they really need to take training classes on how to treat customers so they don’t continue to lose their customers.
I’ve been going here consistently for years to get extensions and misc beauty supplies. The customer service to find the extensions that I need has always been top quality and the girls are super patient. I also always find all the misc beauty supplies that I need. This store has it all.

I generally have no problem shopping at this place and was referred to by an employee at Sallys when they do not carry the items I was looking for. This store is huge, like. a Walmart with half of the store selling wigs, and the other for varieties of hair products, including mens hair care products. I will say that this place carries more of African American hair products, but some of it works for me as well. They even have perms if you need one.
First time visiting. Different. Staff friendly. Good selection.

I love this beauty supply because it has so much to pick from, its like going to the candy store. However, they lack good customer service. Unfortunately, some of these ladies have a horrible attitude and are not customers friendly. It is a shame!
I’ve been in Arlington for about a week now and I needed to find a go-to beauty supply store ASAP. this was the first one that popped up on Google and it was easy to find. I like how open it is, not so closed tight. I didn’t feel like people were hovering over me, and they had plenty of black hair care products, weaves,wigs, and accessories. I do wish that they had a more cultural diversity staff because some of the girls weren’t sure about how the black hair products worked. All in all I will definitely be coming back.

I came to buy extensions and bought extra in case I need them and told them if i wont use all of it can i return it and they said yes as long as i follow the rules and did after i two days i came back and returned few of the extra that i bought and they refused the return and ignored me and were very rude. Very unprofessional and impolite. I would give minus ratings if o could!
The worst, most harassing, and DISRESPECTFUL employees & 100+ year old security guard work there. They have 4 to 5 Asian men, with walkie talkies following customers around! The security guard was sooo rude as I was leaving, so I asked for his name and the company he whether for, and he told me to get out and that he didnt have to give me any information?! He then, pretended to call the police on me, after following me OUTSIDE, but his cellphone was on the homescreen the entire time. He FAKED talked to the police officers & told them that he needed someone to come and remove me, from the store, WHEN I WAS OUTSIDE ALREAFY! I am DISGUSTED, & will be filing a formal complaint against the store and the security guard, whose company name was on the side of his Halloween costume looking uniform!

It’s a great store, but when you are available to check for a product I would hope that they’re actually checking for the product.I called prior to coming to see if they had a specific product I was in search of and they confidently told me that it was in stock and they have it...Cool so, I drove 32 minutes to this store only to be told that they don’t have it and “maybe next week...” That’s real convenient!

Very well stocked! They had all my hair supply needs. The isles were a bit cramped so i wouldnt recommend gong with children until you want to keep picking up things off the floor. Some of the prices seemed a bit more steep than I noticed at other establishments with the same items, but all in all a good experience. Im sure Ill go back.
First of all, I had no idea this place existed. I was told by an employee at another hair shop to check this place out and she buys all her hair here... Not from her employer... Here... Let that sink in... That says A LOT!!! This place is HUGE! I was on the hunt for REMY itip extensions for Caucasian hair white blond. Although they did not have white blond, they did have an exceptional selection of high quality hair to mid quality hair. I ended up buying the last palest blonde high quality itips they had and I am so pleased. Its hard to find real Remy hair that doesnt have a strong taper at the end, requiring one to snip off 1-2 inches! I will definitely be a repeat customer. They also have a customer loyalty program... Free yall... Every $2 you spend on regular priced items, you earn $1 for you next visit. Absolutely FABULOUS!!!

Ive been shopping here for years. I must say the product selection is good, the prices are decent, but the customer service isnt the same. Gone are the days when the employees made you feel good about spending your money here. They arent as friendly or helpful.
The Hispanic ladies on the floor was not eager to help & just forget about any type of greetings! The one star is for the cashier that was some what polite. Its amazing how other ethnicities open business that 98% of customers are of another race & they treat their customers with no common courtesy! I only wished I read the reviews before & Ill definitely buy from a Black owned from now on!

I really wished I would have gotten the young ladies name that helped me. I came in at closing time looking for a specific color of hair. This woman knew exactly where to go and provided all options she had available and got me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Now that is great customer service ❤

Kiwi Beauty Supply is my favorite beauty supply store hands down. Though it is not the biggest hair store by far, it does have a wide selection of hair, accessories, wigs, and other Beauty Supply needs. The staff is friendly, and they dont hover over you. The prices are reasonable, and I dont feel like they overcharge you.

I shop at this store frequently and today was the first bad experience. I was in the store with my children. They were not making noises or being unruly. My children were touching some items on the shelves but not opening or breaking anything. I take responsibility for this behavior. The short Hispanic guy with glasses I believe was rude in his tone about me watching my children. I said ok to his request. Why did he go and tell security to speak with me? If you already addressed the issue with me what was the point? If you dont want products to be touched my suggestion would be to enclose all products. If you do not think items will be touched the store is probably delusional. I understand his request but not the extra step with security. Please understand that you are in the right climate to have customers not patronize your store. It could spell diaster for a small business monetarily. Positive note the young cashier was pleasant!
Love this place. They have a huge variety of products- awful for a product JUNKIE. The products are easy to find and very well organized. They sell so many more products than just hair and beauty; clothes and other accessories. They have a frequent customer card, you spend $20 you get a stamp, toward $10 off. You get good service for the most part. I would like to get samples from them like other beauty supply stores. I ask for samples and often get looked down upon. Just an fyi, samples promote more product purchases. Especially for product JUNKIES. Other than that it is a great place.
Lots of inventory which is wonderful with reasonable prices! There was a security guard there that seemed to be following me and my daughter. Not cool, we are not thieves, we just wanted to shop. Give us 50 feet dude. Know he was doing his job, but seemed to be zoomed in on us.

They carry a variety of products as well as clothing, purses and shoes etc. I used to shop at American beauty on a regular but now I choose Kiwi Beauty Supply. The prices are fair for hair extensions or braiding whichever you choose I believe that you will satisfied. Happy shopping.
I havent been there in about 4 years but I wanna say they have alot of products and have always been super kind and informative when I asked Im going there this week for air are products accessories and maybe another wig. I love all the ones Ive gotten.🦋🎸💖
BEWARE!!!!Please guys... make sure you open your product in front of them to check it’s authenticity before leaving, Most especially lotions. They carry fake as well. I bought Fair and white vitamin C body lotion, I opened it and it’s dark in color. For ppl who don’t know the color, it’s orange.Called them and they refused to change it.
I had a very bad experience with this place. I had no knowledge of the product I was in search of. So I asked one Employee #1 in a aisle and she directed me to the synthetic hair. So I searched for someone else and the employee #2 offered to assist me no luck with her. She continued to show me closures that were very thin and barely any hair. So then she went for the 3rd employee she was very helpful and close to the end of my experience with the 3rd employee I was close to choosing. But requested to see more product and at that point one of the Managers come over. I have to mention she was rude from jump! So I started ignoring her and she kept making it seem as though my purchase had to be completed by her. So after we had words me telling her she was rude and I that I was speaking to Employee #3.... I guess she got in her feelings so I grabbed the bag after she rang everything up..... And the Manager who at the same time was trying to grab it back from me so I took the bag and went to another counter! She brought her raggedy azz over there and had the nerve to call Security like I was shoplifting or something to hurt her company!!So I will never visit this place ever again with that type of mistreatment!!I will take my good earned money elsewhere.

I would recommend to go, you can find almost everything you are looking for (hair, nails, face, etc), but they should improve their customer support, it’s a big place so it’s complicated to find things.

Im so sick of all these Asian or Hispanic/Mexican workers having hair stores in black communities aiming at black women and then having the worst attitudes towards us when we go on to look around. The guy was friendly, however, the two women in the back of the store one being a older or middle aged woman had the stinkiest attitudes. Their energy was so negative I didnt bother wasting my money there, though the store had what I wanted. I had rather go elsewhere where the workers are grateful Im doing them a favor by spending my money there, which is how they get paid. For them to act like they were doing me a favor.. Please it was me doing them a favor. But another business made that profit who deserved it.Learn customer service and get a better attitude towards the community you are seeking business from!!! Too bad we arent unified enough to shut them down for a few days. Bet their attitudes would definitely change then.
This place is a hit or miss when it comes to hair. They dont keep a consistent inventory. They run out quick, so if you didnt buy enough the first time, you may be out of luck. But, they have a large selection of hair products.

I received terrible service from a lady name Liz. She was rude, unprofessional, & act as though, I was an inconvenience for her to do her job. I was looking for human braiding hair, I asked for her to get someone else to help me & she said she was the only 1, which later I found was a lie. I then asked for the supervisor & she just walked away. I had to go to the front to get a supervisor to file a complaint. I went to another beauty supply store. I REFUSE TO SPEMD MY $ & ALL TO BE DISRESPECTED & MISTREATEDwould give zero stars if possible.

For me this store didnt carry enough assorries items for little girls. Im from Detroit there is always at least two long isle for toddlers and youth. So it was a shock for me to see so little option for purchase in this category.
I love this store! They have literally everything I need. The best part about that store is Sundays they open at 8am and close at 9pm. U dont find beauty supply stores on a Sunday with those hours. They have been a life saver on Sundays... Trust!!!

Its a large store, but its very crowded and unorganized. There was also a strong chemical odor when I visited. The people inside also watch you like a hawk (maybe something happened for them to do that). Some of their products are cheaper than in other stores. They had a lot of makeup, but again, it was very unorganized.
It okay... For it to be the size it is... The showcasing of hair styles and wigs are plentiful but not well kept... Its hard to picture a hair style when the display sample looks a mess... And once you find a great style.. THEY DONT HAVE THE HAIR COLOR! Expect to spend at least an HOUR here! This place is the reason I stick with Braids
Cool store ... They have so much stuff that makes it hard to just get in and get out.. They have a No returns policy that needs to be altered a bit .. especially if its unopened .. If I buy too much hair and need to return some , I should be able to ..Also I know you have a big store and theft is a big deal but watching people all close and being extra doesnt help the business .. all that does is help me find another place to spend my money

Shop at a BLACK OWNED BUSINESS!!!! They are quick to take black peoples money but don’t trust us enough to let us shop in peace. A whole business geared towards black women but cant even show common courtesy! Only Hispanics work here ... except for the black security man who was told to follow me lmao!! Maybe if one of the employees actually helped I wouldn’t have to wonder around the store looking for one item.

Great place, helpful staff, I even left my phone there and they kept it safe and i was able to go back and get it. Very cool, and rare these days. Also they have everything you could possibly want for beauty even healthy holistic items like bentonite clay and 100% activated charcoal.

This place seems to have the entire line of probably most of the product lines out there which is cool. I dont know too much about they hair (for braiding, wigs, & extensions) collection though. I did buy a thing to put your hair in a bun & the moment I pulled my hair through the hole it broke apart so that was a waste of $2 - I went back to the sock bun holder. I did buy a lip liner from the brand where the sharpener is attached & the colors are not true to me.. I got a brown but it looked like it had more red tones to me. But hair product wise this place seems cool.

It is a lot better than some of the other suppliers in Arlington. But they dont carry any of the polygel or dip kits out now for DIYers or professionals like, you have to order on line and I asked if they could start carrying them and they looked at me like I had 3 eyes or something
This beauty supply store is huge and they have a lot of different types of braiding hair, wigs, bundles, makeup, clothes and bags. The best part is, if you get too much hair you can always return...with the receipt and unopened of course.
Quick, convenient and reasonable prices. Excellent customer service and also carry wigs, and all types of hair and hair , skin products. Great place to shop for braiding and sew in hair.

I like Kiwi better than any other in the Arlington area. They have a large selection of everything dealing with beauty and always great prices. Dont drive around Arlington when you can stop at Kiwi, theyll likely have what you need.

I was looking at wigs that I was interested in. The lady that worked at the store told me I couldnt style them if I wasnt trying them on. How am I supposed to know if it will look good on me, or if I even want to try it on if the style doesnt look up to par? So I was trying to make it look better style-wise to see if I was interested once it was spruced up. The way she said it was rude. I said okay, and walked out. Just Go to American beauty supply down the street.
I was in and out within 5 minutes because of the experience I had here. I bought a wig cap from the front of the store to try on wigs in the back. When I started trying them on, I was approached by an older Hispanic woman demanding that I must purchase and wear the cap before trying the wigs on. I showed her that I was clearly wearing one (that I just bought from the same store) and she demands I show my receipt. After I did that, she still had a terrible demeanor and stated I wouldn’t get my $1 back because I didn’t get it from her directly. I took my business elsewhere.
Trash customer service, avoid if possible
Has a large quantity of different products. Prices are better than Sallys but about the same as other beauty supply. My one complaint is no returns...period.

Went there with my daughter and its large with very poor customer service. No one has time to show you anything but they point in a direction and its up to you to find it. This was not my first time visiting and each time its less than inviting. Although, this time my daughter asked to use my phone to watch a hair tutorial so I reached into my purse. Immediately, the Security Guard came to the next aisle over beside me and stood there. I told him that my purse is too expensive to put that cheap hair inside of it. Besides, my purse cant go to jail. Lmbo!

The worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. The manager was very rude. Be careful of the older Hispanic lady that works in the wigs department she very rude and unprofessional. If you have an issues with the customer service and ask for the manager beware he may call security on you. Bad quality of hair very expensive wigs. Had to leave and went to Jennys. Looking for Novex Keratin Treatment, I called both of the Ulta stores in Lincoln Square and in the Highlands. Both ladies at each store were rude, abrupt and didnt try to be helpful. I called my good ol faithful Kiwi and there was a gentlemen who answered the phone and was extremely kind to me and ACTUALLY checked to see if they have it! Somehow, we got disconnected, so I called back and a woman answered this time. Now, I had 2 people searching for this product for me! Unfortunately they didnt have it, but I was happy that they even looked considering my run in with Ultas poor customer service. I have lived in this area going on 4 years. Kiwi has been the only place that I get all of my beauty supply needs ever since (unless I need some specialty item). I love this store! The people are always kind, helpful and the prices are beyond reasonable. You wont find a better place to shop!
Its ok for someone who has an interest in alternative hairstyles. I was there with someone else. I have limited knowledge about wigs, weave & braids. I just rock my natural hair.

So When I say they have everything, yes gurl! Store seem to be clean and organized. It was my 1st Trip but Im sure I will be back a lot more now that I know where its at.
Its crowded but its a great store for quick affordable beauty products. Lots of variety and the one interaction Ive had with the staff, besides checking out, was helpful and kind.
I went in to get some Shea and Moisture shampoo and I grab one and see they have a little tag right where it is and it says Shea and Moisture Shampoo buy one get one free so I grab a second one and I go and pay and I notice they gave me little change I told the cashier “Isn’t it but one get one free” and they tell me that it’s on something else and then I find out I can’t even return the other one. I know it’s $12 but it was just the fact that they couldn’t even fix the situation.

Amazing Beauty SupplyGorgeous Remy Human hair, beautiful wigs by Vivica Fox, SiS, and more. The colors are too dark for me, but I am saving up to get a human hair wig that I can dye. Everyone was so helpful from the moment I walked in until I left. Knowledgeable about the products, and so very kind and courteous. I read these bad interviews and can only surmise if someone is giving you attitude, maybe YOU have an attitude. Be gracious, be polite, and they will all work their asses off to make you happy. And the security guy is there for a reason. I was told they get stolen from on a daily basis. So you cant blame them for not wanting their stuff to just walk out the door. He didnt follow me around, but he did follow a couple of ladies around - and lo and behold, she was shoving eyelashes and makeup into her purse. Disregard all these b.s. reviews. Kiwi employs superb people, who have always treated me with respect.
They have a great selection of eyelashes, jewelry, and some hair products for white people, but an excellent selection for hair care,extensions and wigs for our beautiful African American queens,
The sell skin bleaching products. Their main customers are black and they continue the fiction of white is better. I cant support this business. I wont make a huge difference but hopefully they will see this and reevaluate their business choice.

I would have gave it a zero but I didnt because it dont have a zero. do not ever call the store and ask them for anything because once you get here youll find out that you really cannot get it. They lie and than the so call manager would even give me a discount for their mistake. She lie to me about some hair not being blended and tried to sell it to me. Great selection. They didnt have everything that i was lookong for but they had such a large variety i found a comparable substitute. Wigs, natural haircare products, makeup, even clothes and jewelry. I love it.
Usually Kiwi Beauty is pretty pleasant to shop in but now the workers arent friendly and they stopped offering the nice perks when shopping. Its definitely not my favorite anymore.

It is clean and has a large variety of wigs hair clothes and maje up that is not expensive added bonus you a stamp for every 20$ spent after 10 stamps you get 10$ off!

2022-07-10If there is a ZERO star I would give it to this shop. First it is Too expensive , second I have seen how one manager , I guess she is Korean, was treating one person in a horrible way and kicked that person out of the shop, that bothered me so much and I decided I will never go back again. I also have heard how they treat workers in a bad way , as if we are still living in the slavery time!!! I dont know why we need to buy from those people since they have no experience with our needs . Terrible experience in this terrible shop .I dont advise ANYONE to go there. And what is FUNNY about this shop is that last month they had only 3 stars or little more , it seems that they recently panicked about this UGLY FACT and they asked many people to give them good review just to make it 4 stars . Just read the lowest comments to know the real facts about this horrible store .

2022-07-29The product say they are useful for one thing but they dont work.Nk waterproof makeup remover, does not remove waterproof makeup.24K Gold face primer, gave me a rash on my face.Lipsticks, you get lucky if the color thats on the container actually applies the sane on your skin.Unfortunately, everything is nonrefundable but lesson learned.

2022-07-10Very unprofessional. Takes too long to check you out, their security guard harasses people. He caused me an accident because he was harassing me about a parking. They have no knowledge of hair and products. I had to call the police on him for the damages on vehicle. No one paying for service should be harassed while shopping.

2021-08-14Wide selection of Units ( wigs ) and products . Mostly always has what’s current and popular in the hair market ( hottest units , in season products etc) service is good . The ladies in the wig department are always professional. Safe location . Prices are the best around based off what’s in demand . The workers are helpful and don’t treat like your bothering them .

2022-06-13Heres one star because the option for zero stars isnt available. I came in for makeup and witnessed an awful seen of a manager yelling at a customer in front of everyone. It was extremely uncomfortable to witness and 100% uncalled for, not to mention unprofessional. Is this how we treat people? At Kiwi Beauty it is. If you want a better experience with a more professional and less triggering atmosphere, find a different store to shop at. Dont go to kiwi.
