Getting braces is not the most fun, but the result afterward is amazing! I am almost done with mine- only two appointments left!! I am so excited for the day when I finally get them off! They do everything they can to make sure that your teeth are perfectly straight, so youll have no problems for the rest of your life. Their facility is so high tech as well. Every time they scanned me for braces or a retainer, they used a fancy machine instead of a mold! (yuck!) Thank you to everybody on the Kraus Orthodontics team! Not every appointment was enjoyable, but it will definitely be worth it.
If you are looking for orthodontic care, I cannot recommend Kraus Orthodontics in Allen, TX highly enough! As a 50 year old adult needing to correct my bite and align my teeth, I did not want to be in braces. Dr. Kraus and his staff recommended Invisalign clear aligners and I could not be happier with the results.From the moment I stepped into the office, Dr. Kraus and his team went above and beyond to help me.Dr. Kraus put me on an initial treatment plan and customized the plan to specifically address my needs. When my initial treatment was complete, Dr. Kraus was not satisfied with the result. He evaluated my case, tweaked it, and put me in additional aligners so that my treatment could be further improved and we were both totally satisfied. He went above and beyond--and beyond my payments--to get it right. Today, my bite is corrected, headaches gone, and teeth grinding reduced.Next, the staff was outstanding. In scheduling, Kandice and Deb worked around my work and business travel to schedule, and often, reschedule my appointments.Jeanette and Dallas always made me feel at ease while in the chair; working, scanning, and implementing the changes to my plan.Kraus Orthodontics is a place that cares about their patients and the service they receive. Dr. Kraus showed me that he is personally committed to getting it right and ensuring the patient is satisfied while receiving the best care the entire Team can offer.Thank you Dr. Kraus and the whole Kraus Orthodontics Team!

My experience with Kraus orthodontics has been absolutely wonderful. I originally had gone to an orthodontist that was “in network” for a consultation. After speaking with our pediatric dentist they highly recommended Kraus for the level of care they provide and how mindful they are with their work. I had several friends refer me as well.The staff is absolutely phenomenal. They always make you feel super welcome, they’re very friendly and timely. Dr. Kraus was very clear with my options and explaining why he recommended the path that he did. When a tooth wasn’t behaving as it was meant to, Dr. Kraus found alternative ways to get it to do what we needed it to do for my smile to be perfect. I definitely feel like got my moneys worth and I’m so glad I finally bit the bullet and got Invisalign after thinking about it for years.My oldest daughter starts her orthodontics adventure in a couple months and I know without a doubt we will have another great experience.

Dr. Kraus and his staff are so nice and helpful! My husband and I are older and have horrific eyesight, so the staff was kind enough to let us drop in weekly to turn our child’s expander. When a bracket popped off, I wasn’t sure if it was an emergency, but Dr. Kraus called back (on a Sat.) to reassure us, and he was so kind about it. Highly recommend this practice!

Kraus orthodontics is the best place for either kids or adults. I just finished my treatment and I feel more than happy with the results. During my treatment Dr. Kraus and his staff are beyond the best to make you comfortable. They work with you through anything. Environment is super fun and sparkle clean! My teen daughter still in their care and she feels beyond good as well!

Both of my sons were referred to Dr. Kraus for an orthodontic evaluation. I was impressed from the moment I scheduled their appointments. The staff is amazing and so friendly. My 8 year old was nervous at first but Deb put him at ease and explained everything they were going to do at the evaluation which included X-rays. While they were getting everything they needed for the consultation Dr. Kraus actually came into the waiting area and introduced himself. I’ve never experienced that. The consult was great. Dr. Kraus explained what was found and what he recommended. He spent a lot of time with us answering all our questions. He has a wonderful bedside manner which is hard to find these days. My son is very excited for his next visit ! We had the exact same experience when it was my 10 year old sons appt the following week. I highly recommend Dr. Kraus and his staff.

Never have I met such caring, efficient and professional people as Dr. Kraus and his staff. From the first to the last.They know us by name. They care about us as individuals and as patients. They are always kind, always responsive and always patient. From the first child with braces to the last, they have answered my myriad of questions, been super flexible with last-minute rescheduling and always held themselves to the highest standards. Once, I was curious about a sample of mouthwash (for me, not the patient) and though they didnt have anymore in stock, they remembered my question. Months later, they sent my daughter home with not 1 but 2 samples of the very mouthwash. That made me feel so special. I recommend Dr. Kraus to anyone needing orthodontic care!
Dr. Colin Kraus is currently treating two of our boys with braces. The Dr. Kraus and the staff are extremely friendly. My twins got braces a 4 months ago and their progress so far is amazing. They can change your dental appointments should occasion arrive. When my daughter lost her retainer, they were very nice and moved her schedule up 2 weeks to make sure that her progress is not disrupted. We highly recommend Dr. Kraus

I have one currently in treatment and I just finished with Invisaligns. We are so pleased with his office and staff, its worth the drive from Richardson to Allen.

Theyve gone the extra mile any time Ive needed it and Im grateful for that.While having braces Ive transitioned from working full-time to going back to college full-time and they have always found a way to fit me into their schedule.I have less than a month left with my braces and as excited as I am to get them off, Im a little sad for it to be over.I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Kraus and his team. I take 2 of my sons (ages 14 and 12) to Dr. Kraus for their orthodontic treatment and couldnt be happier. He has what appears to be the most state of the art equipment available and his office is nicely done. I felt confident my boys were in good hands as he explained step by step what his plan was for treatment and his fees are more than reasonable. Hes great with kids and my boys look forward to seeing him during their appointments. His office manager, Nancy, is also a great part of the experience and really gives this practice a family vibe. My only regret is that I didnt have Dr. Kraus available when I was kid in braces! If you or your kids need orthodontia, Dr. Kraus is your man!

I came to Kraus Orthodontics after being very dissatisfied with the results received at another orthodontist. From the moment I walked into this cheerful office, I was put at ease by Dr. Kraus and his awesome staff. Their bright smiles and cheerful dispositions just about took away the sting of paying for a second round of braces! 😊 From the consultation, all the way to the infamous “Jeanetti treatment” each appointment included Dr. Kraus assuring me that he’d give me a “Hollywood smile” and that’s exactly what he did! He even saved me from a potentially painful surgery that I’d always been told I’d need in order to was perfect my smile. Dr. Kraus is truly invested in his craft and his patients, I highly recommend trusting him with your smile. After a year of treatment, my braces are off and I’ve been smiling a very toothy smile all weekend, so very proud of the work that was done. Dr. Kraus and staff are wonderful!! From the moment you walk in they are friendly and on a first name basis. They were recommended to me from my dentist and my treatments have been everything I was promised. Their office is such a breath of fresh air, you are not waiting forever to see the doctor and feel like you are a person and not a number. Great experience every visit.

We have been patients of Krause Orthodontics for over a year now and we couldnt be happier. The first interaction I had was scheduling an appointment with Nancy, she was so warm and welcoming. After that call I couldnt wait to meet them! The service is exceptional, everyone is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Kraus and his staff are exceptional beyond words! Not only did he straighten my daughters teeth beautifully, he was so kind and caring throughout the entire process. Its rare that you visit any kind of establishment and receive consistent service no matter how often you visit. The staff never fails in service via a phone call or appointment. I had the most amazing experience progressing through the process of braces. I rarely write reviews, but choosing an orthodontist is a huge decision and I hope this will help anyone who feels overwhelmed or confused with the task. Before I start, I have to say that I was reluctant to even see an orthodontist. I never got braces as an adolescent and sure didn’t want them as an adult. My wife swayed me into finding out more and exploring options.Dr. Kraus’s office is state-of-the-art. Everything is brand new and a lot of thought went into how the office is designed. I was met by Nancy, who made me feel comfortable and talked to me like an old friend. Dr. Kraus never pressured me on any sale or pitch. You won’t get that at Kraus Orthodontics. He walked me through all of my options. Dr. Kraus and Nancy took every step to make me feel comfortable and informed in my choice of an orthodontic plan.In my appointments since starting with Dr. Kraus, I have always been greeted with a smile. They have always been up front and informative about my plan and the costs, and they have gone the extra mile with hospitality. They have been personable, flexible, and reassuring. Not to mention that I have never had to wait, as they keep to the schedule really well. I’ve also noticed that younger patients (high school/middle school) are greeted with the same enthusiasm as me, and seem just as delighted to be there as the staff. Overall, I give a 5 out of 5 for Kraus Orthodontics.If you are in the area, or even if not (they are worth the drive in my opinion), strongly consider going in for a consultation to get the ball rolling and explore your options. We could not be more pleased. The office is clean and modern and the staff is friendly and positive all the time. They are doing a great job and have even come in on their day off to mend a broken bracket. We have been to another orthodontist in town and are very happy that we switched to Kraus!

I had braces back in high school and my teeth had started shifting more and more the last few years so I decided to look into Invisalign . I called my dentist to see who they recommended and they gave me the names of three or so orthodontists in Allen. I can’t remember the names of the others now but I called a few and whoever answered the phone didn’t sound very interested in talking to me. I called Dr. Kraus’ office and Nancy answered the phone. I was blown away with how friendly she was. She made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. I set up an appointment right then and didn’t even bother going to any others. As soon as I got there I was welcomed by Nancy and Deb. They made me feel very welcomed. Deb told me how much she loved her job and working for Dr. Kraus and that was a very good sign to me. It says a lot when the people who work in an office are happy to be there. Every time I came in I was impressed with everyone’s attitude and how friendly everyone was. Kandace is always friendly at the front desk. Jeanette is probably the one I saw the most and she was extremely pleasant to be around. I never doubted that they knew what they were doing. I’m extremely happy with my Invisalign experience with them. Dr. Kraus really does everything to make sure that they come out as perfect as possible. My Invisalign treatment ended and he noticed tiny details that could still be tweaked and made tiny adjustments after that. He could have just stopped when the treatment was technically done but did not stop there and I definitely notice and appreciate all the extra effort to get it just right. I would highly recommend Dr. Kraus and his team to anyone thinking about having orthodontic work done and I will definitely miss seeing all of their friendly faces! :)
I could not speak highly enough about Dr. Kraus and his staff. He was a great listener when it came to my concerns and explained the process throughly. My son had a consult on Thursday, and is getting his braces put on Monday. The first thing we said to each other after leaving is how nice everyone is, and how comfortable everyone made us feel. We have no hesitation about the treatment plan, and can’t wait to see the end result!
Dr. Kraus is the best in DFW. I met him while at my dentist office (before he had his own office) and from the moment I met him, he made me feel like an old friend. He really does enjoy helping people, even is a Boy Scoutmaster in his free time. His brand new facility has top-of-the-line equipment and is always very comfortable during visits. I shopped around for at least 10 different orthodontists and Dr. Kraus was easily the best, in fact, it wasnt even close. 7 months into my Invisalign and I couldnt be happier. Some of my other friends tell me horror stories about how their Invisalign trays would cut their tongue, but, I have not experienced anything even close to that because Dr. Kraus takes his time to smooth out all of the edges and pays attention to all of those little details that others dont. I am even sending my girlfriend to see him.FYI- I am not usually a big reviewer, only when something is either really good or really bad. In this case, I couldnt be happier. If you are looking for an Orthodontist,you have to go with Dr. Kraus. Oh yeah, and if you know Portuguese, feel free to test his fluency (He may not be to happy with me for that). :)
I would highly recommend Dr. Krause. My son had an emergency with his braces once, and Dr. Krause was able to meet with us at an inconvenient hour on a Saturday. I thank God that he is our orthodontist.

OK I was referred to Dr Kraus secretly by one of the dental assistants at the ortho that we were going to previously. First a little history of how I came to Dr Kraus.We were going to another Orthodontist Dr Stacy Ponder who was in our same city. She said our daughter need two phases of braces. My daughter was 7 at the time ok fine. We completed the first phase braces came off no issues. Dr ponder said we needed a second phase right away which I pushed back on because all her permanent teeth were not in. They kept pushing so we finally gave in. After five months of second phase we were told that the office was moving to Irving about 40 mile away. Of course I started asking why they didnt tell me before we started this new phase. Anyhow I had to claw just to get some of my money back. This was the time one of the assistants told me about Dr Kraus. The first thing he did was give us a free consultation, IMPORTANT NOTE! I didnt give him any info on what had happened at the other ortho yet. I wanted to see if he was just going to recommend the same, braces right away. He did not. He said there was no reason to get her braces at this point due to the amount of teeth that still had to come in. he actually recommended waiting 4-6 months during which time we would come in and he would continue to xray her progress for FREE! I was astounded to say the least. Once the time came to get the braces I not only did my daughter but I let him give my son braces also.The treatment is not the cheapest, but you really do get what you pay for. Both kids started treatment in Jan 2018. My son was done Dec 2018, 11 months! My daughter who was not as diligent as my son was still done in May of 2019, 16 Months. this was far from the 22-24 months that it normally takes. I dont want to cause confusion we still had to pay the full price which should be expected. We received the full service and both of their smiles are perfect!GREAT ORTHODONTIST!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t stop smiling now! Dr. Kraus and his team fixed my teeth, and made the process much smoother and faster than I thought it would be! I definitely recommend them to anyone in need of orthodontic work, they’re awesome.

They use quality materials ( they replaced my permanent retainer and the old retainer I got from a different Doctor a year ago left much to be desired). They are also very reasonably priced- I was pleasantly surprised!!

2022-07-26We were referred to Dr. Kraus by my daughters dentist in 2018. He saw us for an evaluation and consult to get a timeline for if and when we would need braces. Dr. Kraus and his entire staff were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. My daughter ended up getting braces in December 2019 and the experience was better than I anticipated, from the cost to the costumer service. Dallas and Jeanette especially, were always so great with my daughter and my youngest who would have to tag along. My youngest still asks about Dallas when we talk about “sissy’s braces place”. This office really is fantastic and never made us feel like a number, but valued customers. I would highly recommend Dr. Kraus and his entire staff.

2022-07-14The service is absolutely amazing, the front desk people always greet you with a smile! :) Dr. Kraus is an amazing person and an even better orthodontist!! All of the people are very nice and make it a safe place for every patient!! I came here trying to fix my teeth and I got an even better result than I thought I would!! I totally recommend Kraus Orthodontist!!!

2022-09-01Dr. Kraus and his team are absolutely the best! From the moment you walk in for that first visit they make you feel like you’re part of the family. They ladies in the front office always greeted us with smiles on their faces and his assistants always made sure that my son felt comfortable for every visit. The service is phenomenal!

2022-03-11I’ll be honest. We probably went with Dr. Kraus because of their pricing. We shopped around & they were significantly cheaper than the other Allen alternatives. But this turned out to be a fantastic experience (well as much as getting braces can be. Lol). The people are great, the office is always immaculate, and we are always in and out quickly.However, the best thing has been the people. Always genuinely friendly despite dealing with the public all day, every day. They were very smart about who they hired because this is just a great group, and I’m actually going to miss them now that I’m at the end of my treatment.Highly recommended.(I was not compensated for this review…I have just had enough bad experiences with health care providers that I try to share the experience when I find a good one…and these folks are some of the best.)

2022-03-29Dr. Kraus is the best ortho in town. He is very friendly and really cares about his patients!! I am very happy with the way everything turned out. The staff is also very caring and kind! I highly recommend this place!!
