I went for my TX State vehicle inspection. No appts, its 1st come, 1st served but staff was courteous, efficient & thorough.
Went for oil change came home with a leak. Brought the car back and they pulled the service and said it was noted the drain plug was stripped. Didn’t let me know, the oil tech said he would talk with the employee and the problem existed before I arrived. Well car didn’t leak, after oil changed leaked and just to point it out would be helpful. Please please do research here
Friendly crew at this location per our visits. State inspections handled first in, first out and even with a line the wait times have been reasonable and/or still beat other shops in the past. They offer a variety of oil change choice options from standard to full synthetic (all Pennzoil brand products). Plus, change service options of wait in your car, waiting room, or chairs outside around the building for social distancing. Was also told oil change and service comes with a free future check and 1 quart top-off if a bit low afterwards too. A nice touch follow-up service not always seen elsewhere. (Hope that doesnt change with Staff turnover?) Have had some paperwork mess-ups here, but did correct once realized after check-out and asked about it. Would go back again.
Buyer beware. Had several oil changes here with no issue. HOWEVER... the last oil change I had them do was done incorrectly and cost me $300 to correct. I calmly and respectfully explained the situation despite multiple interruptions from the owner. I requested a few free oil changes to compensate my out of pocket expenses and lost time. Finally lost my patience and gave up after repeated interruptions/excuses from the owner made it clear they were not going to compensate me. Hell probably respond to this review attempting to shift the blame. Bottom line is they were the last ones to change the oil and it was done incorrectly. They opted to get a bad review and lose a loyal customer rather than make things right. Im just glad my engine didnt sustain permanent damage. Taking my business elsewhere.

Best experience I’ve had at an auto repair shop. Brought in Ford Ranger for AC repair, ever though they were very busy they did a great job identifying the issue and charging a fair price. Definitely recommend this place to anyone needing AC repair.

Went in for wheel alignment and my steering and the abs/tracking sensor came on. I took it to another mechanic shop and they said whoever did the alignment didnt straighten your steering wheel properly. It cost over $300 to repair. I went back up to kwik Kar anna to explain to Shawn the manager and the new manager said hes not working here. (I see why) he also said it didnt happen from us per Shawn and we arent going to repair anything. This place is overpriced and bad customer service when they make mistakes. Just because theyre close to your home and convenient, be careful.
OK, so I have been to Annas Kwik Kar many times and was COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED! I felt that they were disrespectful and over priced. ONLY for convenience sake, I went there last week to get my car inspected. Surprisingly, the trip went well. About an hour after the inspection, my car began to misfire and the Check Engine light came on. GREAT... I thought, they killed my 2017 car that had NEVER had an issue. I called the next morning at 7:30 and they answered saying they would see me during my 30 lunch. They quickly took my car in. A man named Shawn called me back to show me my car. He showed me where an animal had been under my hood and chewed my wires. I could clearly see that he was correct. I flat right out told him my reservations with leaving my car with them even though they had not caused the issue. He promised me that he would handle the issue himself and see that I was satisfied. He took me back to work. I got a call within about an hour and a half that my car had been fixed for $90 …. YES!! You heard me correctly, $90!!! My car has worked perfectly since. They now have a RENEWED customer!! Shawn told me that if I was EVER dissatisfied again to let him know and he would fix the issue. SHAWN is the MAN!!! Not trying to sound TERMINATOR-ISH but... ILL BE BACK!!!
The lobby and customer bathroom are clean, quite a pleasant surprise for an auto service shop. The selection of oil is definitely above average for lube shops. The staff is very knowledgeable and competent, definitely took the time they needed to do it ‘right’ but didn’t waste time, I was out in about ten minutes for an oil change. The prices aren’t cheap, nor are they totally exorbitant. The service is definitely a few levels above bargain places like Walmart... and the staff is better looking as well.
Been here several times and always had a good experience getting my oil changed and inspection. They are pretty quick on getting you in and out. Been lucky enough to have gotten there before the rush. The staff is friendly and the inside is kept nice and and clean.
There was no communication at all from them. I left my car there first thing in the morning. I had to call to get an update, after 7 hours. When I still hadnt heard anything I called and explained that I didnt realize it was going to take all day for a diagnosis for the power seating button and that I would like to pick up my car because I needed it for work the next day. When I picked up they were very rude. After the way I was treated I wont be going back.

Very honest business, excellent mechanic who diagnoses problems correctly & fixes quickly. We have gone to Kwik Kar of Anna for 4 years with our familys four different older model cars. They keep them running well. They find affordable parts for our cars. Always honest, fair prices, hard working guys. We dont go anywhere else for our cars. Love them!!
Kwik Kar in Anna is our go to oil change Auto Shop. We have 2 new vehicles and I trust Kwik Kars no hassle fast service over our dealership. We can also expect a fast reliable state inspection from Kwik Kar. The auto technicians there are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I usually change my own oil, but I was busy this month and decided to pay to have it done. I was impressed at how quickly they changed my oil. I expected to be there for an hour because it was a Saturday morning, but I was out within 15 minutes. The staff was polite.
They dont have any real mechanics/master mechanics on Saturday is what I was just told. However their master mechanic is great. He got the diagnosis right and my car is running great now.
STAY AWAY! Absolutely AWFUL experience. My wife and I were treated terribly by each of the 4 people we interacted with. The team provided very little information and I had to call 9 (yes NINE) times throughout the day to get anyone to pick up the phone so I could finally get an initial update on my vehicle after leaving it with them for 1-1/2 days. They were condescending, curt, and literally stared us down for 20 minutes while we sat in the lobby right before pickup. We were made to feel like we were inconveniencing the whole staff by being there during business hours. After a long time, a lot of excuses, and being charged for a few things I never authorized, they finally said they EXPECT something else to break on our vehicle because they were so pressed for time and had to cut corners (!) -- and as such, they would not guarantee their work at all. If sometime in the future, one of my vehicles were to break down in their parking lot, I would pay to have it towed to any other shop rather than let this shop work on it. Awful.
They overcharged me. I asked for a simple oil change. They didnt tell me the price. I was specifically told them what I wanted and when I went to pay for it they told me I owed $42. When I looked at the bill they said they vacuumed the car washed the windows and replaced a part. They never did any of that. They said I asked them to replace the part when I didnt even know what part they were talking about. My next door neighbor had problems with them too and so did my friend we will never go there again! !!!
Ive been coming here since I was 18 and had my first car, an 09 Honda Accord. Everyone here has always taken care of me, I know almost each and everyone by name and they know me, I now drive a beast 400hp Genesis Coupe and it wouldnt be possible of everyone at Kwik Kar hadnt helped me out. Always honest, always fast, always friendly. Highly recommended to anyone who needs work done on their car.

My wifes car had problems on the way into work this morning. They gave her and my daughter a ride back home, then fixed our car the same day. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and nice the entire time. That is becoming a rarity these days. They will now be our regular mechanics.
I went in for an oil change and an alignment and these guys lied to me. They said my rear differential fluid was low - $70. They said they could not do a front wheel alignment because a part was bent. Final quote= $830. I took it to my mechanic he said the differential fluid was fine and nothing was wrong with the front end. He sent me to an alignment shop he trusted. They aligned it with no problems. This is a warning. These guys will say anything for a dollar.

If you live in Anna and you need a state inspection this is the place to go. Service was very fast and the guys are are super friendly I also got an oil change while I was there. I will continue going back rather than go to the dealership for my oil changes

We took our car to this location for a state inspection recently. A technician met us at the door and said he would take care of it. So far, so good. Seemed friendly enough, so we went inside and he promptly lit up a cigarette and hopped into our car! What is worse is we were carrying our baby with us. Come on, man. Not only did our car reek of cigarette smoke but he had so little concern about the fact that we had to put our baby back in that car that it disgusted us. We have done business here before without issues (oil change) but will drive to McKinney from now on. No consideration that we may not want our car smelling awful. There was no manager available to talk to, so Ill post my experience here instead. Run fast, run far.
Ive gone here for quite some while to have my car inspected, and I guess thats what theyre good for. The other day I took my car there to have the oil changed, AC serviced and a 7 pin trailer hookup ADDED. I already had a 4 and a 6 pin hookup. When I got the truck back, I noticed that my 6 pin trailer hookup was missing. On a whim, I checked the oil. Old and grimy, as if they never changed it. Had I not bothered checking the oil, Id have gone driving about 5000 miles on oil that needed to be changed.These people could have destroyed my truck.
I called here as a long shot after I took my travel trailer up to Sherman to get it inspected only to be told their one inspector left early and I just missed him. Kwik Kar got it done amazingly fast and the gentleman that took care of us was extremely friendly. My 4 year old was with me and told me That man was super nice! as we were leaving. This is the way you win customers!
Took over an hour for an inspection, they claim they had an equipment issue but never told me about it. Several others came in, some getting inspections, while I continued to wait. Will never come here again for anything, would have given zero stars, but system wont let me, ridiculous.
I was in for my inspection. Wasnt there longer then 15 minutes. My only complaint is they didnt shut my hood all the way. This is very dangerous and unacceptable as I had just replaced my windshield. Luckily my hood didnt come flying open as I went down hwy 121.
This place charges for oil changes that they never complete. They especially stick it to you if you are a veteran disable or older. Check your oil to make sure you dont get taken. Spread the word!!! Crooks.
I have read the other reviews and Ill admit I have felt the same way at other car repair shops. But with a 175K on my truck I have come to understand that the $40 diagnosis fee is standard. Though it is used as a discount if the work is completed. Time and tools are not cheap.I took my truck to see the guys at Kwik Kar when I noticed the rubber cushions in my front suspension were worn out. Turns out my front end was shot, the reason I was wearing through 40K tires in 30k miles. I had a bunch of other items on my list too.They gave my truck a thorough diagnosis, I understood the charges and what it would cost for each item. They let me cherry pick the work I could afford. The job was completed in a timely manner and more importantly, I did not have any further problems with the repaired items. That is worth a couple of bucks more than the garage that does cheap work but in multiple trips. Even more important is that I didnt feel (as I have a several other shops) that detrimental tinkering had been done to generate future business. I havent had to return for any other problems in the last 9 months.Im getting older now and appreciate a well thought out and executed project. These guys delivered what they said they would deliver. Not to mention that they are alway willing to help me out (as a repeat customer) by giving me a free trip check for my fluids and tire pressure before I hit the road for a long drive.Thats the kind of place I keep in my back pocket, knowing I can count on dedicated service and for me that is worth the few extra dollars they might charge.I dont work for these guys or know them personally. Im not just writing a good review to counter the bad one.
Very nice and took my car right away to be inspected. When it didnt pass they didnt tell me exactly what it was. I took it somewhere else and they helped me.
Took my vehicle in for a state inspection and it was maybe a 10 minute wait however only one customer was before me. The price was as expected and a copy of the inspection was given without a hassle.

Awful service. Rude & very unprofessional. Called ahead to ask how much the state inspection would cost. Told us $7. What they didnt tell us was that it would cost that IF your vehicle was under 2 years old. If its older than 2 years it would cost $25. We will never be going back.

Took my kids car in for an inspection - it would not hook up to the machine because of no power on the cable (from the car). Instead of replacing the fuse they wanted to do a diagnostics on it (which would have cost me). Took it to a shop in mckinney and they replaced it with no questions and have gained another customer. Note I have had this issue before years ago and the shop in plano fixed it for free and got my business for 8 years..

Called to see if they could get me in for a state inspection. They said as long as I get there before 6:00 pm. Showed up 5:40 pm and they technician ran and told that didnt have any room for me. A real jerk about too. Never take anything to them. Have no care for their customers. I worked in as a mechanic for Goodyear 14 years ago . If I told a customer that. I would have been fired.

Today i took the ice cream truck to Kwik Kar in Anna to have them do a safety inspection so I can get tabs. Before they can even start the inspection the tech broke the key in the ignition. They asked me what i wanted to do about it? I told them that i wanted them to fix it. Then they tryed to give me a quote on replacing the ignition. I ask them why would I pay for something they broke? They told me that it was not their fault the key broke the tach was just the straw that broke the camels back....I have never had a problem at Kwik kar before I have even talked highly of them when I seen negative comments. Well here I am now one of the many dissatisfied customer that will NEVER go to Kwik Kar in anna again.BAD BUSINESS....😡

There was a loud rattling sound when I used my husbands jeep. My skid plate was rattling. I paid a lot of extra money for someone to tell me that the people who changed my oil did not screw my skid plate on. 😪. Im out about 70 dollars in addition to the cost of the oil change.

2022-05-30The service here is fast enough, however the last 2 times I have been for an oil change they have do not reset my mileage. So everytime I start the car I get the message to have an oil mileage.. I have been told its not hard for them to reset it.

2022-03-31This location serves our two vehicles (typically oil changes and inspections). Today we took one in for A/C repair. They ran tests and supplied more freon. It looks like theres another problem, and they were quick to explain how they couldnt fix the issue. They didnt charge us for the test or freon. Really appreciate their integrity. Well continue to use this location.

2021-03-10They were able to get me in promptly to do an oil change and state inspection. The person that greeted me outside was pretty dirty and got defensive when he saw my coupon and claimed We dont take coupons and we dont plan on giving out any in the future. I told I know the coupons are for a specific location and his attitude changed.The reason for the poor rating is because of his cleanliness and attitude. He was so grimy that he left greasy fingerprints on the windshield next to the oil change reminder sticker. I have never had anyone do dirty get inside my vehicle at other KwikKar locations. Maybe Ill just drive the extra distance to go to the location on Fishtrap in Prosper. They respect for my families vehicles.

2022-02-26I have been using this place for four years now, always good service. Today I take it in for inspection and the kid tells me I need a paper copy of my insurance and he cannot take the digital copy. The state of Texas says I can use a digital copy. I’m taking my business elsewhere

2022-02-10I took my truck in to find out what a particular noise was and after they looked at it and evaluated it they gave me a $1200 estimate on things that were wrong. That did not set well with me so I got a second opinion. The next place I took it to said there was no reason all the things on that estimate needed to be repaired. It was only ONE of the things on their list that was bad. Had the new place replace it and my truck is good as new. Will not be going here again.

2022-01-07Attempted to have my 3 vehicles inspected, only to have one car pass with 18% tint and another fail due to 22% tint. Dont waste your time with inspections here. Found another shop in town that had no issue with my tint.
