On our first night, we asked for extra sheets, only to be denied because “room service locks them up.” Which, okay maybe that’s just a one time thing. The next day, we were getting ready and my wife asks me to bring her the hair dryer. Room didn’t have one. Went to front desk to ask for one, denied again because the manager wasn’t there. Asked if she could call the manager. Denied because she didn’t know his phone number? Asked for extra towels, front desk asks why we need them, did the room not have some? The room had one, but there were two of us, and for a two day trip, one towel would get four uses between two people. Then, kids ran up and down the halls, slamming doors, and jumping? Sounded like thuds hitting the floor. Do NOT recommend.
I stayed 2 days in this Hotel but the plan was about 2 weeks.. Entance hall is clean and gives you good impression at first... things went wrong as I stayed there longer ..The furniture in the room was oily , most defenatellt they did not wipe the furniture at all . Floor was half way clean , someone took shortcut on corners .Nice size swimming pool but extremely dirty, I pull out few used cups and plastic.2nd day I met 2 African American ladies at the front desk and isk for the recept. Very rude and unprofessional... ( the young gentleman the day before was great though)..After that insedent I decided not to stay my remaining 12 days and took my business to other reputable Hotels.
The clerk that checked us in was on what I can only assume was a personal call when we checked in. It was really confusing as she kept talking to them. The pool was closed for our visit, which was not mentioned on the website or the confirmation email. Part of the reason i chose this hotel was the pool. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the bed was comfy. Other than that, the hotel was very eh.
Dont get room 319 unless you want to wake up to bug bites. Manager wouldnt let my partner and I use another room without bugs to take a shower and wash our clothes he literally gave us a bag and said go change clothes in there public bathroom. Didnt give us a refund at first ( he said it was impossible to give it to us ) until my partner came back in the 3rd time and said we were not leaving till it was resolved cause we kept seeing bugs on our pillows and clothes when we got in the car . Guess a manager doesnt have the power to open a room for us to take a shower. I have pictures of the bites and a video of a bug on my jacket. So thanks Mike for a refund so we can pay for another hotel to wash our clothes and take a shower. If the refund even come through. Lol
Returned to my room early morning, my room key wouldnt work (unreliable nfc system to begin with). Front desk guy no where in the building to be found. Even knocked and checked the employee rooms and bathrooms. Arrives 30 min later smelling like weed saying he was walking around. During that time I was calling the number this place has associated with them on Google, which takes u to the reservation center. They were useless and wld only try and reach the front desk, which has been empty. Called manager number on cards at front desk, which was forwarded to the front desk. Get rid of this guy, ur number and ur manager cards if theyre not going to actually help with anything. Btw another guest came by at the same time complaining about hair in her new room which she had just checked into, which this man of a man reacted to with the utmost indifference. Youre probably desperate but learn how to hire. Not surprised by the response, still no real answers just hurt feelings, grow up
I was a lawyer customer this place frequently. Spent a lot of money here. One day I came in to check in and was told by the manager Im not allowed here anymore because hes changing up the scenery. Dont really know what that means but I was upset that the only reason I couldnt check into this hotel which I made reservations for because the manager said hes changing things around and people. Also during my stay there was tons and tons of mold in the hallways and the staircases. Also I was charged twice for a room in one day and told the manager even showed him and he did nothing about it. When I told my bank about it they told me they called to verify the situation and the manager told them that there was nothing wrong with the transactions they were right. So so basically $300 was stolen from me and never gave back from la Quinta. I tried to dispute it again but every time the bank calls them he tells them its not true even though I showed him and gave him all the evidence which he also seen but denies it when my bank calls. I got robbed by la Quinta for $300.
Horrible customer service , not to MENTION my personal belonging was stolen here . its been 4 days since the incident & general management is yet to give me a call . Housekeeping lady stole our nintendo switch oled Her name was Hilma , Police report has been filed . i have been calling atleast 4 times a day to get through management and they are always to busy to handle my issue . HORRIBLE .
This place is Awesome for the price, from the moment you enter the check in area the, you get a very inviting feeling. The rooms are equipped with plush beds and dual 4k televisions separating the living area from the bedroom area. The room was very fresh and new in appearanceThe only negative thing was that their wifi internet connectivity is not secure, I was unable to work remotely from my room. I tried using my mobile hotspot to connect my laptop but the connection was extraordinarily lethargic.Definitely would stay again but kot for business
The bathroom was beautiful, wish there was an bathtub had an romantic night. Founded hair on the bath towel when I enter the room. Had one set of towels, had to call down to get more. But the breakfast was great. Went down for an night snack got some popcorn and it was out of date. Told the front manager he just said ok I will check on it🙄
Best place extremely clean and fair price the beds are super comfy! A little mishap with my late check out but they apologized and no harm done . Will definitely be back here ! Only thing missing is shuttle service to airport. You will love this place I guarantee it. Modern art and just very chic looking !
If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. Let me start off by saying it looks like some robbed the room and took off the paintings/artwork off the walls. Brackets were still on the walls where the painting should be.There were 2 towels, no wash cloths or anything else. Bathroom was filthy. Found a pair of dirty socks on the floor. Hair all over the sheets. Sounds like someone above us and next to us are jumping off the beds late into the evening.I went to open the fridge to put my baby’s bottle in it and there was ROTTEN food. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! Will never ever stay here again
This place is horrible. Over night stay, checked in at 11:15 pm. Brown dirty spots all over the walls, hair on bathroom floor and broken toilet paper holder with toilet paper just left on the tank of the toilet. Showered in the morning and water did not train in shower. Informed front desk when checking out at 7:00 am, he wrote the room number down and went back to playing on his phone. From my understanding this is a new hotel (little over a year), but it’s dirty and run down looking. Do not waste your money even if it’s just an overnight stay. Poor service all around. Wish there was a spot for pictures because I took plenty and they’re a horrible representation of this hotel.
I just drove 5 hours to get to LA Quinta Inn and Suites and the front desk said I can not check in because the owner as the only master key to the only room left. I called 3 hours ago to double check my reservation and let the hotel know what time I am coming. They did not call or email to let me know they did not have a room for me. Credit card was on file and payment was guaranteed. They did not offer to help me find another room. It is 3:04 and I need to rest before work at 8:00 am. I have nowhere for my wife to stay while I am at work. Please fix this LA Quint you have my number and I am in your parking lot still looking for a room.
We checked in at 5pm for them to say our room wasn’t ready yet, we asked if there was any rooms available and they said no. Mind you check in is at 3pm and we needed to get ready for a birthday dinner. After complaining and waiting 15 minutes our room was magically ready. After getting to the room there was only 2 large towels for 4 guests so I asked housekeeping down the hall for 2 more and they said no. I called front desk and they told me to go walk and ask housekeeping, and after telling them they told me no they told me to go get some from front desk. Later that night we asked for a 2nd key for our room since they only gave us 1 at check in, and it took her 10 minutes to figure it out and for us to come later that night for the 2nd key to not work. The oringinal key didn’t work on our 2nd day as well. In our room 221 we kept seeing small roaches that we killed. The shower wouldn’t drain and there was speckles of stain on the wall. We didn’t have the energy at this point to ask for a new room for our 2 night stay so we just stuck it out knowing they were “full” The customer service/hospitality here is a joke. We knew talking to them about our issues at the desk would have no resolution. They never apologized about the late check in, the lack of towels, and the key situation. All 3 separate occasions. By the way, while I’m writing this I’m seeing another small roach on the wall.
Had issues with black mold in room 418, water leaking everywhere. When asked to move rooms had to stay one more night there due to no vacancies. They finally got me a better room once I spoke with the nice manager. Only reason Im giving 3 stars because he was very understanding and accommodating. It would be a nice hotel if they got it together with their employees and closed the rooms that had problems.
SAVE YOURSELF DO NOT STAY HERE. We got two rooms for four of us to stay. One room the AC did not work. Called the front desk to be told they would come and check it after waiting 40 minutes I called again with no answer. Waited a little longer and called again for them to finally come and say they never have trouble with the AC. Honestly should have known it wouldn’t be a good place to stay when I noticed a hole in the wall. We gave one room back since it was 78 degrees and too hot to sleep in. So we all cram into the other room only to have some singing karaoke at 1:30 in the morning. So we paid to not be able to sleep. Took the keys to the front desk and he couldn’t even cancel the room for us.
Worst brand new hotel Ive ever stayed in. It was just built in the last year. Pool was closed.The room I was first given had been robbed of everything! Lightbulbs, coffee maker, hair dryer, soap dishes and even the toilet paper holder ( Im not joking). The smoke detectors were covered with plastic bags. I asked to be moved to a new room and THAT room was missing lightbulbs, cups, and a hairdryer. The smoke detectors were also covered (taped) with plastic bags. The ONLY reason Im giving this place 2 stars is because of the staff - Silvario & Marietza were truly awesome in their customer service. Otherwise this place would be less than one. I will never EVER stay here again( I hope it obvious).
Where do I start.? The cleanliness of the property is a facade.! We came with a party, and only one of our rooms had towels, the coffee station looks good..but isnt 3 star quality. The Laundromat is a joke..and theres no coin machine; and to conclude this list..theres no designated smoking area, and you can only enter through the front door..as the three side doors locks dont work and they refuse to fix them. Dont get me started on the pool..
Several issues with this hotel. The first room they tried to stick us in had no doorknob on the bathroom door. The window had no blackout curtains and the flimsy curtain that was there was hanging on by black electrical tape and a hanger that was rigged to it. Finally got another room which was fine but there was no working Wi-Fi at this hotel at all. There is only 1 representative working at any given time so expect to wait in line for 15 minutes to get anything done. Very disappointed in this hotel.
My name is Valoree Brown and I had reservations to stay here that I made using booking. I reserved 2 rooms for about $471. After traveling 5 hours to get here, they said only one room was reserved even after showing them the confirmation and details. I asked them to make it right and add a room. 2 different people on stagf told me it would be $370ish for 2 rooms 2 nights. I was happy because that beat original price. When we got to our rooms I got a notification from bank saying we were charged $688 dollars. I went back to complain and he tried to tell me I misunderstood him, which he just obviously did a poor job of explaining. Then he wanted me to call booking instead of just trying to honor what was on receipt. I went back to rooms and got all of our stuff and asked for refund and left.
Waited 10 minutes to check in bc someone over the phone couldnt work the website to book the room. Once I get checked in I get to the room and the cleaning lady is there. The room wasnt done yet. Mind yu I checked in at 5:30pm. Here I am standing back in the lobby wondering where the front desk attendant has gone. I will be calling corporate. And I will be complaining to the BBB.
Will never come here again. First off on arrival all kinds of people hanging out outside and at the entrance we were greeted by a woman dancing in the door like she was putting on a show welcoming the guest, secondly as im entering the building there are people sitting all around in the lobby with their luggage like they had been put out their room and had nowhere else to go they were there for a minute, I checked in and came back two hours later and those same people were still there. I parked in the back of the building and went through the back door in which it was propped open by someone so I didnt have to use my key(I didnt know this was allowed). Last straw was 1:30 am I was awakened by all kinds of noises above me I tried ignoring it at first but after going on for an hour I tried calling the front desk with the room phone but its just there for decorations because it didnt work, called on my cell phone no answer TWICE so I get out the bed walk to the front desk and then still had to wait on the guest service worker to come and greet me and see what I needed...I wont be back it was all around unacceptable
It is FREEZING and SNOWING outside right now and my brother works a couple of miles from this location and I was trying to book a room for him because he lives an hour and a half (on a regular day) away from work. They told me that I CANNOT pay for HIS stay and that he would need to have the card that is being used to pay to present at time of check-in AND IT NEEDS TO MATCH HIS NAME! After explaining the entire situation to them and considering the inclement weather outside and begging for an exception, they refused to be reasonable. I even asked if I can reserve with my card and then when he checks in they can charge his personal card instead, they said, “No!” They told me that, “in the past, we have done that we have had problems with the banks.” I told them they have proof through recorded lines to which the manager told me, “the bank doesn’t care about proof.” So, when there is inclement weather, they are okay with leaving people stranded? I, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, hope that both the receptionist and the manager that I spoke with will one day encounter the same situation and end up stranded and cold as well!Side note: I even agreed to pay a crazy, high price just to get him a room. I could NEVER recommend this location to anyone. And, if all of their locations are like this, they all deserve zero stars. This is so sad and depressing. I am amazed by the lack of reasoning and made up policies and the absence of humanity! What upsets me even more is their reasoning, as if I am stupid and didn’t work for a bank, in the disputes department and had no idea how proof is used to verify transactions! I hope they can work on this and hopefully get better management in place.
New hotel has not been open very long I believe, the room we stayed in was not completely finished are far as fixtures in the room and the little kitchen area things were not working. They put us in that room because the elevator was not working and my husband has some health issues that would not allow him to be able to go up the stairs. Other than that it is a nice place to stay its close to the hospital were he goes for his treatments.
Clean brand new hotel. Staff members were extremely friendly and really engaging especially Mike the GM. This is the first time I actually genuinely felt appreciated by a hotel staff that I chose their hotel to stay at. Oh and the lobby was very eye-catching and pleasing. The lobby really brought my mood up as soon as I got there. It’s also newer and much more attractive than the next door properties.
If I could give no stars I would! I called and asked if they had a room with two queen beds available and told them I had a dog. The man check and said yes we do. I hung up booked online. Got to the hotel late and was informed they gave our room away. We said we have our confirmation # number he said he didn’t want to see it on our phone it was on his screen. Said he had another room but our dog wasn’t allowed! He was incredibly rude! That was the entire reason we choose La Quinta because they are pet friendly! It’s now the middle of the night and we used our Wyndham points on a room. We ended up having to find a different place to stay and paying for a room when it was our attention to use the free points we earned from other stays!Clearly they do not actually read the reviews! Thanking me for my business and rating my experience! Um pretty sure you over looked the fact that yall gave away our room that was already booked and we had to find some place else to stay !!!
It was a very nice place to stay at. The hotel was very nice, and clean. The staff were extremely helpful. Customer service was great. The whole nine yards. The only thing I would recommend, is that at night that people need to lower their voices because people are trying to sleep. Other than that, it was a great experience
The area is nice, rooms are nice. But the staff worker who was working upon on our arrival for check in was rude. We arrived Saturday March 27, 2021. @11am. Like I said, she was rude and she really needs to learn how to speak to people and how to approach customers. She’s young and has a lot to learn. And hope she does learn, cause trying to give smart remarks to customers Isn’t a good idea.
The absolute worst room weve ever had! The room smelled smoke so bad, like there was a Party the night before. The suite had no dishes, cups, , ice bucket, etc... The microwave and refrigerator both had the electric cords cut and left there. Cupboards missing or hanging!!! For $126 by far the absolute worst!
The desk clerk walked in on my wife at 1am in the morning while she was naked. Claiming he was checking to see if anyone was in there. After staying in that room for A month. Then the next day they kicked us out. Very suspicious and RUDE MANAGER and workers. PLEASE BE AWARE !
This hotel the room was cute but the rug was hanging off the side loose in the bathroom the wallpaper was hanging where its coming down . And also everyday I came back too my room my key card wouldnt work so I was on the 4th floor so I would have to go all the way back down stairs to the front desk it was ridiculous and the person at the front desk say oh its the key system well you need to fix it .I will never say at this la quinta again . UNBELIEVABLE.
Newer La Quinta that is very clean and in a good location just outside of Dallas and right off I-30. The gym was pretty good if you need one for your trip. The gym had a power rack and dumbbells up to 50-lbs in 5-lbs increments I.e. 15, 20, 25. They have one spin bike, two elliptical machines, two treadmills, and four medicine balls.
Well its a brand new building so theres that. But the property is woefully understaffed, service is lacking, there are all kinds of noise problems, and nobody answers the phone when you call the operator or front desk for help. Whatever we saved by staying here vs somewhere nicer and more established, it wasnt worth it. I wont be back.

A continued review fromprevious pictures didn’t post -I went to front desk for help with my issues the front desk worker informed me she would give my info to the Manager Michael Patel but further stated he is too busy to will unlikely call me back. I attempted to contact Mr Patel after my stay and he has yet to return my call. (no towels )

Very nice and would have been an amazing stay if it wouldnt have been for the only thing I can complain about was the manager being very rude to me and the last night I stayed I had lost my room key and he wouldnt let me back in my room even though it was my id on the room when rented so I wasted a 80 bucks and was pretty upset about that!
This is the worst hotel experience ever me and my family has been here 3 days and have had the worst experience and customer service in my life no towels no help broken toilets no staff for 200 a night I will never stay here are recommended this place to no one You contact any one laquinta standards and reputation was destroyed for me never again
It was horrible! From the room we were given, to what happened that night. Apparently, room 427 had been a problem, but they still gave it to us, according to staff! The remote from the tv didnt work, so we could not change it. We went down 3 times to get a different remote, and none of them worked. We were without a tv the whole time. The shower was missing the handle from the inside, the sink water would not go down, and the iron did not work. I asked to be moved, but they said they did not have a room available. The hotel is in a run down neighborhood! That same night there was loud banging on a door on that same floor. It sounded like a fight. We werent about to walk out of our room, because the people looked like they had just been released from prison. The next morning, the door from that room had been broken/kicked in. I have call the GM to talk to him about our stay, and he will not return my calls. We have been elite members for La Quinta for over 10 years, but after this stay, we may reconsider choosing La Quinta!
Very spacious room, warm welcome, very friendly staff. Out of Dallas this is not a problem when you have a vehicle. Walmart and restaurants nearby. The only downside is the cleaning that is not done regularly: water stains in the hall, floor of the elevator not clean...

2022-02-26If this hotel tighten up on a few things, it wouldnt be bad. The check in was good. The lady at the front desk was nice and very informative on things in the area. Thd hotel lobby was very clean.However I do not recommend it because I have a phobia of roaches and this hotel has roaches.Upon entrance, everything was as expected. While putting our suitcase in the corner, my husband discovered a small area with mold. We ignored that because we were only going to be there one night. Well, later in the night, I went to the bathroom and there was a roach crawling on the floor. I was ready to go instantly at 2 AM!!!When we got up the next morning, I was ironing on the floor (we didnt have an ironing board). When I picked the towel up, there was a dead roach on the back of the towel.Our room had a balcony type view. The view was very nasty. It seemed as if we were in the roof and could look over. This may not seem like a big deal but if a guest can open the curtain and see parts of actual building, it needs to be presentable.

2022-07-07Honestly this hotel did not meet my expectations by a LONG shot. When we first got in, the front desk guy was rude and acted as if it was an inconvenience for us to be there. I had requested extra pillows and blankets and he said “umm I don’t think we have those because people keep stealing them.” But couldn’t be bothered to go look. When we got up to our room, it was 80 degrees! It literally took 2 1/2 hours for our room to cool down to something even remotely bearable. I decided to take a shower to hopefully help cool me down since the room was so hot and the shower head had so much soap scum build up that water only sprayed from half of the shower head making the water pressure ridiculously low. How am I supposed to shower with dribbles of water?! Also, we were so graciously gifted empty shampoo bottles and an empty toilet paper roll so that was great… lastly, we tried to charge our phones and what do you know, the charging ports on both sides of the bed don’t work… for $100 expected so much more and was literally left beyond disappointed. 10/10 would NEVER stay here again and I will be reaching out to the manager as well as corporate because it’s robbery to have a room that is this bad and expect people to pay $100 for this.

2022-06-12The receptionist was on her phone. She was nice though I requested two beds. The first bed was dirty. The room has a small hole in the wall and they charge a deposit. The floor wasnt vacuumed and the bathroom floor was dirty. Didnt want to be the blame for the hole so I called downstairs and she said she noted it, but didnt. The floors were extremely dirty in the lobby. The carpet looks like its never been vacuumed. The elevators floors looked like they never been mopped. The lawn in the back of property was trashed out. All this makes me wonder what does housekeeping and maintenance do. The beds were comfortable though. The receptionist at checkout was on his phone.

2022-03-27I stayed there due to work. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They do offer continental breakfast weekday 6-9am and weekends 7:30-10:30am. They have a great variety of food for Breakfast. The hotel is located off Hwy 30 roughly 15 minutes from downtown, which makes this location even better.

2022-06-17Our first time staying at this location and it was a horrible experience. Upon arrival..they gave us the wrong room, they switched us rooms, and when my Son went to open the door, there were people asleep in there. The day before we were scheduled to check out, housekeeping knocked on the door and asked what time we were leaving. When I called the front desk, Brittany, was very rude, and said my card would be charged an extra $100.00 if we wanted to stay another day. We asked for extra towels, never received them. Our room was never cleaned either. There were roaches in the bathroom. When I called the front desk to ask for clean linens , I was told I had to go look for housekeeping myself cause they dont have radios to communicate. I gave one star because overall the breakfast was the only thing reasonable. Save yourself the headache and do not stay at this location!!

2022-04-12After looking at other reviews I know this is a futile attempt but I am going to try:1. Upon arrival the desk clerk was the lest friendly person I have ever seen. Didnt speak to me at all.2. Noticed the lobby was full of people just lounging in the chairs3. Get to our room (401) and find the room not cleaned very good at all. Shower door handle swinging off, weird looking stuff leaking into the shower. No toiletries in the bathroom. Walls had stains. One bed didnt have a comforter. The desk chair was falling apart. Drawer pulls gone.4. Had the same desk clerk when we checked out, still no manners you would expect in his chosen field. There was a young man we were on the elevator with and he and the desk clerk seemed to have something going on. It sounded like he was waiting on the desk clerk to give him a key card, dont understand why he would need one when he came from a room.5. We only stayed there because the Holiday Inn Express next door was booked for the nights we needed. Knowing it was a newer hotel I did not expect to find the absolute horrible shape it is in.Will not ever stay there again. Hating even giving them one star!

And that was so needed Id been road tripping all morning with a young child, it was 97 degrees outside and i was in dire need of a shower. Keep up the great work La Quinta!

2022-03-04Microwave area had an awful smell..I opened the Microwave door and it ear filthy. I complained to the front desk and they asked me had I messed the bed up yet and since I had not they allowed me to move into another room imagine the look on my face. Front desk also asked that I return the key to the smelly room ASAP. I moved to another room and that room had No light bulbs in the lamps.. no alarm clock and the picture in the bathroom was noticeably Crooked. Housekeeping brought me 2 light bulbs and went to hand them to me as if I was suppose to install the bulbs.. No Maam. I will NEVA return and recommend that You NEVA go

2022-05-05This hotel was horrible.The pillow had pee on it.The bed had bed bugs.The couch had cum stains on it.The front desk service people who were on staff that night said that the Genaral Manager would be in at 9AM. I was scheduled to leave at 4:30am, I stayed to talk with him then his morning staff stated that he would be in at 10AM, and he would call me when he arrived. He did not get to the hotel until after 10:30am.When I spoke with him at 10:38 and asked to meet with him, he refused and said that he did not need to meet with me. He then told me he could only refund me one night. I explained that it was not acceptable. When I addressed it with the Wyndham Corporate Office he lied.I had to waited for 6 hours until the manager Mike Patel got to the hotel so I could address this this matter. My trip was delayed which made me late for another appointment. I reported it to Dallas Hotel and restaurant compliance department. They informed me that they had Two other complaints about the hotel having bed bugs. The hotel also took a $50 deposit that I was suppose to get back upon departure which I never received. Take a look at the pictures. If it was possible I would rate this hotel a negative 5 stars also this hotel has only been in operation for two years and has 3 complaints of bedbug this is a reflection on management from the top down!!!!

2022-01-24Arrived at the hotel on 1/21 at around 1200 midnight, due to a late flight. Your staff was amazing and greeting The lobby was beautiful, we got our room key and everything was good. Noticed armed security in the lobby at night. The hotel knew way in advance, we would not be arriving until night time, but when we got to our room, it was 56 degrees in room 417. Why the heat was not on beats me. We had to turn the heat up and wait for it to get warm, which took atleast 2 hours. Little things around the room was broken (i.e. Towel rack, shower door handle, sink stopper) but nothing that hindered us from staying. The lounge chair in the room had several burn holes in it. On Saturday night, I found a roach crawling on the wall. That was the last straw for us....I WILL NOT be returning to this hotel in the future. .
