I recently had to put my mother in memory care. From the moment I walked into the front door of Landon Ridge, I was greeted with a sign and my name welcoming my mother and I. I was very impressed from the moment I took a step into the front door of Landon Ridge. Karen and James made me feel very comfortable in knowing my mom would be taken care of. They were very helpful in explaining how everything worked and what was to be expected on my moms part and my family. Karen has gone above and beyond to make sure my mom was settling in good and making sure she was comfortable and taken care of. I am very pleased with the care she is receiving from this beautiful community along with the all the love and support.
From the moment you are greeted by the wonderful concierge team, you immediately feel welcome! The protocols put in to place to keep everyone safe and healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic are amazingly organized and flow smoothly for everyone involved. The associates and residents are all like a big family and are getting one another through these difficult times...and the food is outstanding! Great place to live and work!!
We recently met an employee of Landon Ridge named, Victoria Santos, when she came in for a service with us and let me tell you, shes the sweetest with the most bubbliest personality.Through casual conversation, we discussed Victorias role there. She mentioned that wed be able to stop by to visit the residents if we wanted to because it would make them happy. Throughout the course of a few days, we kept in touch and decided to stop by to donate goodie bags and pumpkin bread to them for Halloween. (BTW, they held a Halloween party for the residents the next day and went all-out with the decorations- you guys are amazing!!!)It was nice to see how appreciative the residents were of their goodie bags, which helps you realize how little and simple it is to put a smile on others faces. I look forward to getting to know everyone the next time I visit. Its nice to see how the staff genuinely cares about the residence. Especially, Victoria- she has a great heart.Thank you for allowing me such a wonderful experience. I suggest anyone who wants to pay-it-forward, do so by donating your spare time to the forgotten seniors.
The community itself is very nice But behind closed doors the management team is horrible its not about what you know its more of who you know .They make changes all the time according to there moods. Please explain how the Nurse Gloria cussed out the former ED in front of workers and family but yet is allowed back at the community they talk and treat workers with no respect but will quickly write them up or even terminate them for defending themselves .Even after posting this all that will happen is a oh ty for your concern the nurse is never on the floor to help when needed she gives attitude they dont care about losing good employees. ..Being held accountable may feel like an attack if you are not ready to acknowledge how your poor decisions impact others . lol these words are told to them on a daily but yet management sees no fault in there actions please think about it twice before working there or having your family there. Its sad when you cant even feel comfortable talking to your supervisor because your in fear of being terminated . Even down to Cindy from corporate shes no where near fair either god forbid you try to talk to her.
Robbie and Mario Caballero are very safe and happy living at Landon Ridge! They enjoy the extra special events and activities they get to participate in. The knowledge that our family is safe and well, living there makes us all thankful that they are well taken care of.Thank you for good service! Debbie Segler
Landon Ridge is warm and lovely. You feel it the very moment you walk in the door. People at the front desk greet you and ask if they can help you...the huge living room, library and Bistro are right off the reception area. The nurses office is very close, as are the business offices. It’s beautiful. The move to assisted living is, without a doubt, a challenging time for everyone in the family...the person moving and the family. The folks at Landon Ridge make every effort for the transition to be as comfortable as humanly possible. Everything they do is geared toward the resident population; from the fruit in the cafe, the fruit enhanced waters and coffee, the activities planned everyday, the exercise rooms, the various game and activity rooms...to the diverse menu served at the cozy dining area...everything is geared to the seniors in need of various levels of assistance. You can literally SEE that it is set up to provide a stimulating environment for a wide range of senior abilities. The nearby independent living enables other benefits like walking paths, a dog park, and a great indoor pool...the BEST senior exercise. Robin, the RN is always willing to chat. She loves her job and that is apparent in her very demeanor, she truly cares. Julie can answer most any question, and point you in the right direction for any outside her scope. Kelly knows her geriatric “stuff” and is a fountain of skill and information. Angelica, the chef, works so well with families and residents, especially when special needs arise...she’s been GREAT! Everyone, absolutely everyone, has a smile on their face. They take time to greet you and see if they can assist with needs.Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch Assisted Living is terrific and one can only wish that every senior could enjoy this beautiful home with so many wonderful people at the ready to help when needed!
Kelly from Landon Ridge is amazing! She is very informative and helpful which helps when discussing a difficult matter. She was able to provide me with resources I didnt know were available to me and helped me understand the process of putting a loved one in an assisted living facility. The facility is beautiful and offers many options depending on your needs. I would strong recommend.
Landon is a great community. I was searching several locations to take my father and he even visited this one with me. Landon was the only one he actually remembered. The staff is friendly, courteous and goes out of their way to meet our needs. I would highly recommend the Landon to anyone.
I met with Kelly and she was a huge help. She was a wealth of information on what steps should take place with my aging parents. Thank you Kelly for helping me when I was not sure where to turn. I loved Landon Ridge. Every expierence that I have had there was top notch.
On their Facebook page 1/29/21, they posted a video of the residents blowing kazoos through holes cut through their face masks. This activity was unbelievably insane in the midst of the Covid pandemic, which has already decimated so many people in senior care facilities!!!
I visited this facility a few days ago with my siblings. The place looks very clean and the staff seems very helpful. Kelly was amazing and was able to answer all of our questions and give us advice for our family. We even got to talk to some of the residents there and they had nothing but great things to say.

2022-04-28We had a wonderful experience with Landon Ridge recently. My brother, who lives with Parkinsons Disease, came to visit for a month from his home in Florida. While he resided at Landon Ridge, my husband, father, and I would visit him daily. We were very pleased with how well things went there. The people who assisted him were so caring, friendly, and upbeat. We ate lunch and dinner with him a few times in the beautiful dining hall, complete with linen tablecloths & napkins, and a full-size menu. The food was delicious and the servers were spectacular. This wasnt our first experience with a facility like this either. My mother suffered from Alzheimers Disease and lived her last few years in a place similar to Landon Ridge. There is no comparison and I wish now she had lived at Landon Ridge too.

2022-05-09I knew, as soon as I saw the Independent Living side of this property, when searching for a place for my elderly parents, this was the one. It took them a while to come around. They now need Assisted Living, and after spending a couple of months at another facility, they agreed to move here. They moved in just a couple of days ago, with the assistance of local family members and Bella—sales and marketing at Landon Ridge. She went above and beyond, to help with this transition. Every roadblock we encountered, she was there with a helping hand. I hope my folks can live out their final days in peace and comfort here. That’s really all a daughter can hope for.

2022-05-05This is truly a wonderful community that prioritizes the overall well-being of both residents and staff. Families are always welcome, which is demonstrated by a transparently open-door policy under the exceptional leadership of Mario Garcia. It is understandable that mistakes may occur from time to time (we are ALL human), it is commendable to know that the leadership team is accountable and always willing to implement immediate corrective action if/when necessary.James Carignan: If you took the time to educate yourself on factual HHS procedures (that’s Health and Human Services aka “state”), you would already know that communities, such as Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch are often inspected both randomly AND intentionally with ALL results publicized for transparency to the public. It is absurd to entertain the very thought that a community with such prestige would risk their reputation by “threatening your wife’s family, etc.” I think it may be fair to state that your response mirrors the sounds often heard in a playground sandbox and not one consisting of merit and fact.

2022-05-04My mother LOVES her life at Landon Ridge. She says the entire staff has been so nice to her and has taken excellent care of her. My brother and myself have met with nothing but the most helpful, professional and caring staff at Landon Ridge. The rest of our family is very satisfied with the care my mother is receiving at Landon Ridge and happy that she has been so welcomed.A previous negative review was post concerning my mother’s experiences at Landon Ridge by a disgruntled sibling, fabricating falsehoods. She suffers mental illness and is unstable and spiteful.Additional hateful comments have been left by a sibling, Andrene Murchison under the account of “James Carignan”. My mother (91) is very disturbed and disappointed by the continued harassment. She is aware of how much this is effecting her health. My mother has repeatedly asked her to stop the harassing phone calls, attacking the director and staff, filing false reports, and to stop leaving negative comments. Andrene has stated that she will never stop. My mother has asked that she NOT be allowed on the premise to protect herself, the staff and other residents. Andrene is fabricating lies and leaving negative comments as retribution. The ENTIRE STAFF of Landon Ridge has gone above and beyond to help my mother have the best quality of life possible.Estelle Murchison daughter of Louise Murchison

2022-05-04Recently put my mother-in-law in this Facility. I have gone through this stressful experience before with my Older parents many years ago. Management, Staff, Everyone was So friendly and Professional, which made the transition much easier and less stressful. Place is clean, room is very nice, residents are Friendly, the building and grounds are well maintained. The only difficulty we have encountered was an Estranged Family member, who has decided to insert herself into the process. You don’t need Family creating Problems that don’t exist, except in her deranged Mind. This is no reflection on Landon Ridge, they have gone out of their way to resolve any and all issues. The Family is very Happy and Mom is happy, which is the most important thing.Son-in-law Dan McCarthy “Murchison “Update: My mentally Unstable Sister-in-Law (Andrene Murchison) was banned from this Facility, by her Own Mothers request. She was threatening to the Staff and left Racial insults on the voicemail of another Family members phone. She is now using her Husbands Google Acct. (James Caignan) to spread more Lies and Misinformation. Andrene Murchison is the cause of all these problems at Landon Ridge. My mother-in-law Louise Murchison was so Upset and stressed out, that we had to call EMS to take her back to the Hospital. Youve got to be a Special kind of Crazy, when your OWN Mother doesnt want to see you, because of all the problems you cause. Mario Garcia, the Director of this Facility has been nothing but Kind, Caring, and Professional in spite of the Personal attacks and Lies spread about him and Landon Ridge.

2022-01-12If I could provide zero stars, I would. My mother and I were told that we could submit a deposit check that would be held if my fathers condition improved once released from rehabilitation. My mother went to speak with the Executive Director and Business Director today regarding my fathers situation and was treated rudely and left in tears. We were rushed to sign documents because it was closing time and now my mom is out $4600 and didnt even receive a call back from the Executive Director. Obviously the business practices of this location are inexcusable and we will now have to seek legal representation to get our check back. The check was cashed despite us indicating that my father was no longer going to require assisted living or additional rehabilitation.

2022-01-27Great balance among Community Living, Independence as appropriate and connections with outside communities that contribute the the quality of our life and work together. This is a wonderful, friendly and comfortable community to live in. People are friendly and generally not grumpy. Good conversations and good collaboration about making our experience good together.

2022-04-29We have observed a major decline in my mother-in-laws health since entering the faciity this has been reported to the state after many enforceable incidents have occured Mario Garcia the Director threated my wifes family that if my wife made complaints to the state for investigation they would evict my mother in law I personally would not hire Mario to mow my lawn

2022-01-27I am extremely grateful for my cleaning lady. Her name is Rosa and she cleans my apartment every Wednesday morning. She is always in a good positive and uplifting mood. I play 70s music on my T.V. for her. Its her favorite and mine too. We have a very friendly and respectful staff here at Landon Ridge.
