This is my 2nd review of Legacy Lifts. My previous talked about a faulty upper limit switch. Well the limit switch failed again. This will be 3 bad switches in 2 years. This problem needs to be addressed to the manufacturer not the installer. Evidently the parts used are defective and suggest anyone think about legacy lift think twice before purchasing. If I get a satisfactory remedy from manufacturer I will be happy to update my review. Until then buyer beware.
Called to see about getting something like this! So cool. Hannah was an absolute doll and I can’t wait until we get our little elevator one day.
I live in Kemah Texas. We built our home 7 yrs ago. Legacy lift came to our rescue after ( $&@, Lifts ran off with our money. After several months and a police report, Our money was returned. After hearing our story, Legacy Lifts came through with flying colors….The started putting the rails up even before we were refunded the initial down payment from ($&@“ Lifts…..Professional, courteous and dependable. That’s how I describe Legacy Lift, Kemah /Galveston areaLegacy Lift is the best lift company around.
Very professional from the time I called until my lift was installed. The team over at Legacy is very good about taking care of your concerns and walking you through the process.
Having the worst customer service issues with the Rockport Texas dealer and installer. Name is Tony. Can not get him to sell or give us an additional remote nor will he come to adjust the lift so that it doesn’t shake, shimmy and squall. Probably called him a dozen times over a six month period. He promises to fix but never shows. Would not recommend purchasing this product from this dealer. Bad Service!
These people are some amazing folks. My best friend lives near the Nueces River in a house on stilts to protect it from flooding. Well a few years ago he needed back surgery and it didn’t go well. The operation left my friend paralyzed from the waist down. Life became so much harder for him and living in his home was near impossible. Legacy Lifts some how heard of my friends condition and offered to help install an elevator for free. It has help him tremendously. Idk if they do this kind of thing for everyone but these folks are some good people. Thank you Legacy Lifts!! Oh as for the elevator, it’s built tough as nails. They sell amazing lifts, and installed very professionally. They know what they are doing.
Im the electrical contractor installing the lift and so far, Im not done yet, the directions really suck. The directions do not show the location to mount the magnet or the limit switches. They just show close up pictures that are so unclear it makes you wonder if they intentionally made the directions impossible to follow. Theres contradictions between the pictures and the directions. This has been a super bad experience that is going to cost the customer more money than he thought.I cant speak about the lift yet because tech support hasnt called me back yet.
Friendly staff and management! I can tell just from my brief interactions and cleanliness of overall property that these guys mean business and care about their products and customers.
Wasnt there today but they do really good work.
They won’t install their own lift. Enough said!

2021-02-02Had residential lift installed Jan,2020. Everything went well until remote malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Today limit switched malfunctioned and over shot landing by almost 2 feet. Dont know what would have happened if I hadnt stopped lift with wife on it. I was assured by installer it would have stopped. Also though in warranty electrical parts are covered first year but not installation. Ridiculous. Bad parts should always be covered 1st year. Also any communication with manufacturer is not answered but rather sent to installer. Lone Star lifts did a decent job of installing the lift but the actual manufacturer Legacy Lift is not professional for not answering my questions. Picture shows when limit switch breaks.Update - 2 months ago tony from lone star lifts came out to repair. Have not had any problems since.

2020-11-10My son and I bought two lifts through North shore lifts in southeast Louisiana. We really like the style and operation of them , however the dealer/installer has no clue how to complete our units. We are going on 2 months since they installed our units and they are still not complete. We have yet to receive the drawings to file the permit and we cannot get final inspection on our new home so we can move in with out the drawings. They dont follow the contract they wrote or of our selections . They just modify the unit as they want. The lifts are supposed to handle 140 mph wind, I guess that would be if it was installed correctly. Two weeks ago we were hit with a hurricane. Our max wind was 104 mph and my lift was ripped off the side of my new home. We spent $27,000.00 for our two units and had plans to purchase two more . I dont think so

2022-01-14I cannot believe my husband and I waited so long to make this investment. I can’t imagine life without our lift. Everyone was so nice and professional. This place is family ran and they pay attention to their customers. Make sure you speak with ms. Hannah! She will take care of you. Thank you legacy lifts!!!

2022-01-14I had no clue how easy it was to get one of these installed. Very impressed. The girl in the office (hanna? or Anna?) and the guys are easy to work with and no bs ..which is hard to come by in companies this day in age.
