I worked with Calvin both on the phone and in the store. Calvin provided awesome customer service with a contagious happy smile and helped me purchase an Argon bottle and some TIG supplies. They were out of the Argon bottle size I wanted, but Calvin offered that I could change the bottle size next time when I bring my bottle back for a refill. I left as a happy customer.

Totally ridiculous that this co. is still in business.Tried to buy an argon cylinder, but they said there was a shortage and not selling any. So I said, Ok I’ll rent one…but was told I had to submit a form online first.They sent me a 7 page credit application!!!!!!Went to a different shop the next day and bought a cylinder in 3 minutes.It’s like they don’t want new customers!Don’t waste your time here.

Best place in Austin to pick up any and all welding supplies! Great staff, great selection, and great prices. Calvin is an awesome guy, he works the front desk- come in and hell get ya sorted in a jiffy!

They are very inconsistent with their pricing, often gouging severly. Ive walked in at closing time Friday and had to pay over $60 for 80cf argon, regular price is 50ish for 250cf. Maybe they are treating me as if I had a rented tank??? Also, counterperson is insistent that I buy a MIG welding setup from them. Seriously, drop a lot of money when Im skilled at TIG weldiing and learn to MIG on 18 gauge steel tube? If you need to buy gas there, I would let them know you are comparing prices with other locally owned sources. Get the salespersons name that quoted you the price and bite back when they try to kick you around.

Best of the Best !!!! Great employees, great service. Welding supplies, Specialty gases. If they dont have it, You dont need it.
