Little Tokyo Restaurant in other cities:
Oh my goodness, great hole in the wall establishment. I should have taken pictures. Their Salmon Shashimi was so great. The sweet tea was very good and their Ramen is good as well. I thought the egg in the Ramen was the best part, perfectly made. I wasnt a fan of the pork, I gave that to my husband, lol. He was encouraged to extra meat, lol. Will definitely go back to this place again to try the other dishes they offer.
This place was worth trying! I had the agedashi tofu, not very flavorful by itself, but it was good with the sauce. Edamame (a small appetizer of your choice) came free with the online order. The seafood yakisoba wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t my favorite. The shaggy dog roll was good. I liked the volcano roll as well, there was a lot of different ingredients to that one and it was very flavorful. The salmon sashimi was very good & were fresh, thick cuts. The shrimp tempuras had too much breading & looked huge.
This is one of my favorite hole in the wall lunch spots. Whether it be the sushi, the rice bowls, the bento boxes, or the poke bowls. There is nothing you can go wrong with here. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. I go to school with some of the employees and the staff and management is overall very friendly. Try the California rolls or the calamari if you go.
Love this place!! Best fried rice ever and I love the YumYum sauce. I’ve had the Rattlesnake Roll and the Shaggy Dog roll and they are both delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also adorable and quaint. Normally I do to go but I also enjoy eating there as well. Only complaint is there are only 4 tables so if they’re busy you have to wait and I also don’t recommend using the bathrooms. I don’t think it’s their fault. I just think the property itself is old and worn down.
Really good food excellent service and great tea. I entered the parking lot of this restaurant with low expectations and a stomach full of nothing but day old liqour, as I was seated and ordered a bento box I began to savour every second of my meal It was godly just what I needed to get me back on my feet thank you Little Tokyo Restaurant I will be returning with many more of my friends and all of my family
I don’t review often because I think reviews can be misleading but Little Tokyo is the real deal. I’ve tried their ramen, yakisoba noodles, and various sushi rolls. Everything has been delightful, looking forward to my next visit. Here is a picture of the Rangers Roll, it was excellent.
One son ordered from this location multiple times over the years. I finally tried them recently and the food was mostly wonderful. I tried some items which were unfamiliar and was not fond of them, but the Ahi tower, chicken gyoza, chicken teriyaki, tempura and every single roll I have tried were wonderful! Still have a few I need to try and am looking forward to them!
This place is amazing! The food there has been great everytime weve been there. The fried calamari is so light and flavorful and I love the Volcano roll! The scallops are cooked perfectly and the spicy mayo sauce is delicious. And the jalapeño poppers were so good they have a tempura batter coating and are delicious.
Very busy with to go orders. Called to verify dine in and was told 20 minute wait. Took that long to get there and still had another 20 minute wait to get a table. Once seated placed an order of 3 dishes. Was told it was a lot of food for 1 for dine in. Assured him no problem. Food was delivered promptly and was eaten promptly. It cost a little more than I expected, but I left full and satisfied with food and service.
We are now regulars to this tiny little sushi heaven. The service is always so fast. I like to call ahead to see if they have table leaving, with only 8 tables, they stay pretty full during regular business hours. I have not had to wait yet which tells me that people just havent REALLY found out about it yet. So glad to have this unique restaurant near our neighborhood. Must try the vegetable tempura, any roll, and fried rice. The poke bowls are great too.
Just ordered from here for the first time! Loved how quick my food came and no contact delivery is awesome! Their lunch combo is such a great deal and ordered through their online portal. Online portal was also easy to use on a mobile phone. I highly recommend this restaurant, the food is exactly what I expected and delicious.
Their food is delicious and they are both kind and professional here. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.I ordered several items from here today, and everything was great.Their seaweed salad is fresh and tasty with just the right amount of sauce and sesame seeds yum! Perfect to start or finish up your meal with.Their tempura is my favorite around, with its light and crisp texture and flavor hot out of the oil. In my opinion its just what tempura should be!The spring rolls, perfect. The fried rice is always cooked to perfection. And their tofu miso soup is always a nice soothing classic.I had a sushi roll of good quality, and ever so delectable salmon sashimi. Pretty good cuts!Last but not least topped it off with a good ol can of soda.It was a to go order, sorry chefs! ... and they added the right amount of extra sauce on the side and utensils and napkins, and just everything about the order was better than good! Again, I highly reccomend LITTLE TOKYO
Very confused on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on this place considering the quality and taste. I ordered calamari, tonkatsu ramen, cajun avocado, california roll, tuna roll and the egg drop soup. The calamari was 80% batter and the sauce for it was the most watery texture ever. The calamari is always a go-to for me at many asian restaurants and this takes the spot for being the worst. The ramen broth was also very very watery, bland and honestly taste like it was just salt and pepper. The cajun avocado wasn’t bad per se, it was just overwhelming of weird flavors. the egg drop soup was most definitely the worst thing i’ve ever had...it tasted like old dishwater that has been left out. The rolls were alright, not great but not bad. This review is also coming from someone who loves and tried many many different Japanese restaurants and please, if you want good and quality sushi/ramen, there’s better places in Arlington. I’ve never left a food review but I really needed to considering this place is 4+ stars..and for what?
YUM. Their yum yum sauce is to die for and their sushi is delicious. Their ramen is good, especially the meat for their ramens. The portion size for ramen is great as well. Overall their food is so great for the price and I will be a returning customer. Great place. Bonus, their takeout wait time was only about 25 minutes.
Ordered carry out via Uber eats and it was ready to be picked up under 20 minutes. I ordered the Shaggy Dog and Hawaii roll. Both tasted super delicious!!! I saw on their to go menu that was stapler to my order stated that they do free delivery if you’re within the 2 mi radius! Shame I’m not but that’s good of them to offer.
The sushi is outstanding! The shaggy Dog and Rainbow Rolls are wonderful and the presentation is well done. Their drinks are pretty good and average in price. The atmosphere is very relaxing and compliments the food remarkably well, this is a wonderful place for good food and conversation. This has become about the only sushi place I go to these days and it is for good reason, I am glad to have found this place.
Looked online and saw that all the reviews were beyond good. Showed up and was disappointed. The place is extremely small with candles suffocating us while eating. The sushi is terrible, it’s extremely chewy and tastes old. the soy sauce is old and has been sitting there for god knows how long. A waste of money. don’t come here
I dont leave poor reviews often but I will definitely not be ordering again from here.I ordered just yesterday 2/23 for me and my siblings and 2 of us ordered chicken teriyaki bento boxes and the other one yakisoba. Me and my sibling who ordered the bento boxes end up with stomach cramps, indigestion and dirreahea later that night, not worth the $45 I spent. 🙃
We love hanging out. Last night we arrived in this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a delightful evening there with exceptional cooking and a well-trained stuff and a distinguished cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall surely return soon. We deeply recommend.
Excellent place, great tasting food and unsurpassed attention. Sushi is the favorite dish of my children and here they delight your palate, the fried rice or the nodles are definitely too good, we love to enjoy there as a family. Manuel has treated us with great care and kindly, they speak Spanish too, so they must visit them. They are a great team of young entrepreneurs.
Little Tokyo is a quiet, unassuming restaurant with a great menu. A friend of mine turned me on to it and I have to say, Little Tokyo has become my favorite Asian food restaurants. They do a brisk take out/delivery business, but there is also a quaint space for dining in. The tables and benches are not the most comfortable. Other than that, the food is great and the service is very efficient.
This place is always so chill.. the employees are attentive and really nice. I love the lights, the music (oh the music!), the atmosphere, it’s all so calming and cozy I love ! And let’s not forget about the food. Everyone should try the Chicken Curry Catsu! It’s delicious! Also their fried octopus! Oh and their Raspberry Tea ! Overall this place is great and would most definitely recommend !
Small friendly place, a real hole in the wall location. i drove by it for ages w/o realizing it was there. They offer delivery but we enjoy dining there when we just need to get away from the house for a weekday dinner. I keep my order simple, stir fried rice with veggies, maybe some edamame or a bowl of soup. We notice that they always have good music playing. Simple bench seating, clean interior, its a good local business to support.
Great place to hang out with friends or with family. Small locale but their food and service are amazing. With a small staff number they still manage to get out your food in a timely manner and it always tastes delicious. Perfect little hole in the wall restaurant. 100/10 recommend
Very good food. A little pricey but well worth every penny. The restaurant itself is very clean and nice looking. A very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cooks are quick getting your meal ready. The food presentation is well done even with carry out. 5/5 Will definitely recommend to everyone.
Such bad attitude, I USED TO order delivery from here at least once a week. Last time I went in we were give such a bad attitude. I specifically said the tempura shrimp roll and they came out with the regular shrimp roll. All I said was Oh, I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and he had the most snarky tone and said Well you should say it next time, the tempura roll and the shrimp roll are two very different things. Everyone at the table heard me say the tempura one, so I dont understand his attitude. I was not being unreasonable either. I even paid for both; however, I will never be bringing my business to here ever again.UPDATE: Decided to revisit this place because I moved back. Food is good and service is much better. Did not see the rude guy there this time.UPDATE 2: Visited again and got a female server this time. She hardly paid attention to me— had to keep calling her over and she gave me the wrong drink also. Was more busy talking to a guy at the counter than paying attention to her customers. Still tipped her 20% and she decided to add onto the tip that I just saw on my statement and hiked it up to 30%........ You’re lucky it’s only a few dollars so I’m not going to make a huge ordeal but that is beyond disgusting and FRAUD. You hardly paid attention to me and you were lucky to receive the 20% at all and you have the audacity to raise it to 30%? Do not come here.
Excellent Japanese food. Fantastic shrimp and veggie tempura. Very light and crispy and I ate it twice in 3 days. The ahi tuna tower was also delicious, as were the gyoza dumplings and dipping sauce. Very good and attentive waiters. The delivery was quick. Our second visit was dine in. Very delightful discovery. Highly recommend Little Tokyo.
Food tastes great, sushi is fresh and very good priced. Best place for japanese take out if your feelin sushi and dont want to go to a sit down restaurant. Ordering through the online website makes it easy to order to-go! My order was ready in 15 minutes! Inside is small but has a cute and calm atmosphere. Owner is super nice and friendly!
Thank you thank you thank you! You have my homesick daughter a tiny taste of home by making her a fabulous crunchy roll from your shaggy roll. She was uber happy! Im glad she has a place to go to when shes missing home. Your service is spectacular! The women on the phone was so helpful and accommodating. Thank you again!
The drive from Euless is worth it for this gem! Ahi tower is delicious, so is their fried rice. The chicken katsu portion is very generous, enough meat for two people or leftovers. I was even surprised that the ramen comes with half a portion of chicken katsu and it was also delicious. The sushi weve tried is very fresh. Service is really good and friendly. Little Tokyo has many menu items to choose from. I cant wait to come back and try other things :)
Very good! Has the best tasting Teriyaki sauce in town. The steak teriyaki is thinly slices and perfect for dipping, texture mixes well with the Steamed rice and cabbage. Also got the chicken yakitori (on a stick) it was divine! Grilled chicken so tinder with just a little snap complemented by the crunch of the greens. Will definitely eat here again.
Ive tried this place twice now. The service has been okay and the people are kind, but I would have to describe the food as bland. Ive had three different types of specialty rolls, the teriyaki chicken, and egg drop soup. The soup is good, but the other items not so much. If youre a fan of the rolls at Pirhanas Killer Sushi, then you probably wont like the rolls here. The former are much more flavorful. Perhaps this place is more authentic and I simply dont appreciate it. The chicken teriyaki is basically grilled chicken on top of cabbage with a side of rice and teriyaki sauce...on the side. I expected this to be a prepared sautéed dish as Ive had at Japanese restaurants, but it was not. The chicken was cooked well, but again, bland. As I said, maybe I just dont have enough experience with Japanese fare to appreciate it. The location is convenient and prices are reasonable, so I might give it one more shot and try a different dish before moving on.
Spent time stationed in Japan, and every now and then I get the cravings to be back. I was excited for a place that did Japanese food besides just Sushi. So much other good Japanese food. This place did not do it for me. Our Ramen was very bland and the calamari was eh. Cant say well be back.
Well are there twice in the last few weeks first time I got noodles/chicken couldnt understand why the noodles looked the way they did seemed old, needless to say I got a upset stomach ,i ga e another tey last night. I got veggie fried rice w/the sauce I have been sick for hours ,I cannot eat there again
I was REALLY jonesing for some Ramen, and Little Tokyo hit the spot. Its a very unassuming restaurant on the outside, being in an older shopping strip, but the inside is nice, and the food and service were both great. I enjoyed my Chashu Ramen. The sesame flavor was mild, but delicious. It left a wonderful aftertaste that lingered. The Chashu pork was very tender and flavorful. The serving size was just right, and I walked out satisfied.Ill definitely be back for more.
Little Tokyo is close to my home and one of my favorite places! If you like tuna and crab, try the Ahi Tower. It is served with a large tempura shrimp on top, drizzled with spicy mayo and always hits the spot for me!And dont miss the fried rice or yakisoba noodles! Both are about the best Ive had!
I dont know what any of these people has said on here but this place is by far the best Asian food delivery in arlington. Ive lived around all of arlington, dallas, Grand Prairie and more and this place is the fastest most hygienic, food around. Sushi delivery. Fast service, and killer fried rice. Yum!

2022-03-20Good food, good conversation, good time. I can’t complain the food was really good and the staff was friendly, plus the prices are fairly cheap compared to other restaurants serving this type of food. Totally recommend it!

2022-04-26The best fried rice in texas hands down! The restaurant interior is minimalistic and relaxing. Clean as a whistle to boot. The staff is friendly and respectful. I had no troubles during my visit. The food prices are reasonable as well. Would definitely tell all my friends to come have a stop by. Or it might just be my special little getaway spot. Either way Im definitely coming back

2021-08-05First time visit and it wont be my last. Decided to play it safe on my first visit by ordering a noodle dish so I got the combination Yakisoba. How they manage to get so much flavor in such a simple dish is beyond me but I will definitely be ordering it again and exploring the rest of the menu.

2021-10-10Awesome, chill experience everytime we go. Staff is always friendly. Me and my girlfriend love the Chicken Katsu (best one Ive tasted so far), miso soup, and sushi. Nearly all of them are good, and the place is always clean-good music too.Prices are reasonable as well! Lunch specials will (available Mon-Sat) really stretch out your dollar. Cant recommend this place enough...

2021-09-23EXCELLENT!!! I love me some Sushi and I was skeptical at first because theyre in a small town and Im from the big city and I expect t quality. This checked all the boxes. 2022-04-29First time coming here. Miso soup was really off but, the server was kind enough to get a different soup. Egg drop soup is amazing. As for the sushi, I got a rainbow roll and orange dragon. I think the salmon was bad, because I got sick when I finish the rainbow roll. So I wasnt able to eat my second roll. The tempura assortment was good but, shrimp was a bit undercooked. Overall, experience could have been better.

2021-11-15Why did they give me unseasoned and dry chicken that feels like rubber in my mouth? Truly nasty. I couldn’t even finish one bite of the chicken because it was so bad. The sushi was mushy and mediocre as well. I’m disappointed to say the least. :(
