Logans Roadhouse in other cities:
I regret having to write this experience, but I have to do it so next time I go I will have the main dish I honestly go for which is not the steaks, that are awesome, but the Logans mushrooms. I am regular customer I might not go daily, but I constantly visit this Logans Roadhouse in McAllen TX, Dallas TX, and now Amarillo, TX . Amarillo was my first time visit and unfortunately there were no mushrooms. I talked to one of the managers and said to him Please get your mushrooms.. next time I visit I dont want to hear that you dont have them again he didnt promise anything and he even stated that there was nothing he could do. Anyhow hope on my next visit I will not be disappointed. Happy eating 😋 ☺ 🤗
I want to just say first that I really enjoy Logans, just not this location in Amarillo...theres a reason why the parking lot is always empty...terrible service is the first problem. Second issue is the lazy, trifling attitude within the work crew...the inability to accommodate for their inadequacy. Honestly you have 4 other choices in walking distance where youll at least have a far better dinner. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by giving them multiple chances to prove me wrong, but unfortunately Id rather save my money and get fast food if its between Logans and fast food. Just keeping it real...this place doesnt belong to be on this block of other fine restaurants.
Some of the worst service ever. There was 7 of us in the group, no one got their side salad until after the meal was over then they didnt bring them all out and we had one guy that only ordered a salad which he never received until we asked for the bill and told them to take it off the tab then they showed up with it. I would avoid this location like the plague
I was leary of eating here as the parking lot was empty, whereas Saltgrass was packed and Longhorn looked fairly busy also. Usually I go to Saltgrass but the past two trips have been disappointing, and there was nowhere to park with a trailer. I am so glad I went to Logan’s today. I was eating alone but the staff were friendly without being overbearing. The food was superb. Justin, my waiter, did a great job. I’ll be back.
Disappointing. Ive been going to Outback and Texas Roadhouse for their steak special nights but thought I would try out Logans Roadhouse for a change, plus its closer. Ive had three meals here, maybe four, and overall they just havent measured up. Tonight was the worst although the food was better tonight. The last time I tried the early bird turkey dinner and it wasnt hot and it tasted like packaged turkey, not something homemade or fresh cooked. Tonight I got the early bird steak and it was actually quite good but barely lukewarm and had grisly parts. The broccoli was also room temperature. The baked potato was piping hot and very good but what they call loaded for 99 cents extra was decidedly not loaded. Id say it was about 2 spoons of sour cream with one spoon/sprinkle of shredded cheese on top where it couldnt even melt since the sour cream was cold even though the baked potato was hot. There were no chives or green onions or bacon bits or anything else that would qualify as loaded. Basically they just put the same stuff on that you get with a baked potato at other restaurants but they charged $0.99. The baked potato wasnt huge but it was decent size. The portion of broccoli was good and it was cooked perfectly, just not hot. The steak was supposed to be medium rare and it was more like rare but since I like rare meat that wasnt a problem, but I did order it medium rare. I just wish it had been warm. I told the waitress up front I wanted a cheap beer and she proceeded to tell me all about the wines and other drinks. I said let me look at the menu and think about it and once she was gone I found that they had a $2 PBR which was perfect for me. It was even a 16oz when I was expecting just a 12 ounce for the price. She checked with me on the fly a couple times but I didnt really need anything. Then when I was done eating and ready for a take-home container and my bill, I sat and waited and sat and waited and sat and waited and finally after about 20 minutes I picked up my plate and walked to the front where I waited another 5 minutes or more before a Hostess even came out. In the meantime three groups of people came in the front door and had to wait to be seated because no one was even at the front of the restaurant. I told the girl that finally came out that I needed a to-go container and my bill and she brought the manager and container. I slid my food into the container and the manager told me my bill was on the table. We walked over to the table but she was holding it at that point. I told her that it wasnt on the table the whole time I was sitting there and that the last time Id seen my server was at least 25 minutes earlier when she rushed past me and asked if everything was okay. Then the manager said oh well she had a big group in the back, as if that made it okay to completely ignore me. Now, I dont like to be bothered a lot while Im eating and I dont really need much of anything so Im a pretty easy customer but when Im done eating and ready to go home, I see nothing wrong with expecting my bill to be presented to me so I can pay. There was never an apology of any sort either as if they thought it was okay to ignore a customer because you have other customers youre taking care of. Wrong. I eat out nearly every day sometime during the day because I am visiting from out of town and dont have cooking facilities, plus I enjoy going out. Like I said, this is the third or fourth time I have been here. I keep wanting to give them another chance because I have liked Logans Roadhouse in other towns. But they keep disappointing.
As a delivery driver this restaurant is one of the worst places to pick up from. They are hardly ever busy but even with just 3-4 cars in the parking lot youll be left looking for an employee to get the order then youll wait about 40 min. For them to give you the order meanwhile they will act like they are so busy huffing and puffing but its like from what theres almost no one in here
Came for dinner. Order an appetizer with our meal. Salads came waited about another 10 minutes and asked waitresses if our appetizer was going to come out soon. Was told as soonas it was ready she would bring it out. About 10 minutes after that the appetizer came out and then before we could even get it on our plate out come our main dishes. Asked for manager when he came over we told him what happen and we were told no that she said we put appetizer order in after we ordered our food. We said no that was not how it happen only to hear his response. Well it happens. Wow got to love those responses. Wont be back. Thank you for the memories.
The staff was great but the food is the worst. I ordered the logan steak special and what I recieved is a 12 oz piece of gristle and fat. Got about one decent bite out of the whole thing. My wife ordered a burger and had to take the bun off because it was hard as a rock.
After reading reviews the wife and I were a bit nervous about eating here. We didnt even make it across the parking lot and we started to realize we had good reason to be nervous. Situated between other restaurants with full parking lots the logans lot was all but empty. As we walked in the door we noticed it was very quiet for a Saturday evening. When we approached the hostess station we looked around and seen over half the restaurant was empty! After standing there (at the hostess station) for over 10 minutes and being mistaken for two other groups we were finally told that it would be atleast a forty-five minute wait before we could be seated. Seriously! The place is practically empty! So yeah we left and I dont expect we will be back anytime soon.
We called ahead to ask if they could accommodate our family of 14 for a birthday lunch and were told yes. The guy who answered the phone checked with someone else before telling us yes, they would be happy to serve us. We arrived and were immediately told by the manager, in a rude way, that they could not accommodate us because they were expecting a party of 45. So they sent us away so they could serve another party. Shameful that we drove over an hour to get there, to be told we wouldnt be served. Manager wasnt even apologetic about it. We ended up at Texas Roadhouse where we received great service. Logans Roadhouse is off our list of restaurants to visit while in Amarillo.
First tip off was a server not washing her hands after using the filthy restroom. We were then faced with a waitress with a lazy attitude and no concerns about problems. She asked us to check our mid rare steaks which were raw. Sent back. They arrived and were better, but so tough we had to saw through the sinew, and were unedible. She came to check after about 20 minutes into, and I complained about the steaks, seemingly careless, and argued with me. Then she rudely slapped the check down full price without a manager ever coming over. Horrible experience, NEVER COMING BACK
We are from NM. We wanted to see what Amarillo had to offer so after a hard day s work we went and found this place. At first sight it was a welcome. Our waitress was extremely nice. She was prompt with our order. I had a half rack of ribs and and loaded potatoes. The corn was just like being at home. Both my boss and I were happy with our decision to pick this place. We have told others about it. By the way I had to get a box. Too much food for me.
Worst experience in my entire life! I have worked in restaurants and never would I have treated or allowed my tables to be treated the way we were tonight! The front of house manager was beyond rude, disrespectful, and just plain awful. The food was awful, steaks were tough, chicken fried steak was super tough and super thin, everything was cold and it took over an hour to come out. The restaurant as a whole was not busy at all, and has gone severely down hill over the years. Our server was sweet, and the kitchen manager was able to step in and at least help us get payed out. This is such a heartbreaking disappointment, my family used to love coming here.
Restaurant was dirty, there was a hair brush sitting on the booth, looked like the place hadnt been swept under the tables in months. As for the steak, came out warm and dry. Salad looked old. Cucumbers were soggy as well as croutons. It also took 30 minutes to get our margaritas. Which I paid 10.00 for a small glass. Smh never again. No wonder the place was slow. If I wasnt with another person, I wouldve turned around and walked right back out when I first seen the entry doors full of finger prints and grease. Like they havent been cleaned in months. Tell tell sign. If they cant clean the door windows, Im sure the place is dirty everywhere. Even if I have to wait an hour and a half at Texas Roadhouse , Ill do it next time. Logans, your management is dirty and careless. You can tell they take no pride in training their staff to run a great restaurant. Its grouse!!!
It had been a few years since Id eaten here so I thought we would try it again. I sat down with my daughter and asked for a kids menu...didnt get it so we just ordered 2 appetizers. An hour later we got our sampler platter. Half the wings and the potatoe skins were cold. the cheese sticks were alright but we didnt order them...we ordered the fried pickles. 20 more minutes passed and we got our nachos. I immediately sent them back. The chips were burned and there was hardly anything on them. What was on them looked like it came out of a diaper.
Wonderful service and great food. one thing is i ordered a sirloin med well and got it rare had to send it back 3 times and then got a new one still a little bit pink but it was still good. Haley was very sweet and gave us free desert and the manager was super nice to talk to us. definitely worth the time going!
5 stars. Best hot yeast rolls EVER!!!Great iced tea, and Im very picky about my tea. Great service!! This is my third Logans in 3 cities over several years. All were great!!Tenderest steak over any of major chain steakhouses .I cant ever get my broccoli cooked correctly and it was cooked the way I asked without having to send it back .Highly recommend!!
Many Issues:1. Waited 10 minutes to be seated while employees gossiped2. Waited another 10 minutes for a waitress3. Tiffany our waitress was not friendly and too busy talking with an off duty employee to wait on us.4. We waited 40 minutes for our ice tea, never received water5. Did not refill our rolls even though we waited 55 minutes for our food6. Food arrived and was horrible, my chicken was extremely dry and my teaspoon of rice served was so hard I could not eat itThe sad thing is I work for a large hotel company that has 3 properties right behind Logans Steakhouse. I will not be recommending this restaurant to any of our guests at any of my properties. If just one thing that went wrong I would say it was a bad day, but absolutely nothing was enjoyable about this dining experience.
This may be the cheapest little steakhouse in this area of Amarillo! Wow great food, but... BUT THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I ordered a sirloin and it was incredibly juicy tasty wonderful and really was perfect. The sides were good. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this place. My issue is I went in at a very slow early afternoon and just taking my order seemed strenuous for the to go order lady. In fact so much so she had to have the hostess finally do it 10 minutes later well I sat at an empty hostess desk with her watching me. Until she finally got uncomfortable enough that she took my order. Itll only be 15 minutes were not busy so I came back 20 minutes later and of course my food was done I could see it in the bag. But it took another no exaggeration 15 minutes to get someone to stop after every wait staff person and hostess ignored me. The dishwasher was coming in off of break and we talked at Great length and I learned all about the Lakes and fishing from here to New Mexico. It was a lengthy conversation and then finally I walked out with my food. IF THE SERVICE WAS EVEN SUBPAR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER! I WILL GIVE IT TO THE COOKS YOUR FOOD IS AMAZING!
Our waiter Ryan was extremely helpful, and very attentive. He gave us great service. However, we had to send our steaks back three times, due to the inaccuracies of the kitchen. The front-end manager Maria was very rude. When we explained all the issues with our meals, she was very snippy and immediately began grabbing our plates, that we were still eating from. She had already grabbed two of the plates from in front of us and went to grab my steak from in front of me, I had to sternly tell her that I was still eating that. We will not be returning unless they do some changing out of their management. However our waiter was AWESOME!!! Thank you Ryan, you rock!!
Well where to start the hostess where nice and attentive but it took 10 mins to get our waitress the manager is the one who got us our drinks and then still had to find our waitress and the only time I had see our waitress was when she was serving the other tables their food she didn’t even serve us our food and other waitress did and gave us refills on our drink but she was sure ready to take my money when we were checking out I didn’t put a tip on my card but I left a cash tip on the table and I still got charged 10$ extra on top our 65$ bill from my card I will never go back to that place i don’t need more money stolen from my card I know its only 10$ but still
DON’T ORDER DELIVERY!The food could have been good, if they had remembered half of it. My French Dip sandwich was missing the dip and the onions and mushrooms I payed extra for. So I just had dry meat and cheese. My Loaded Potato, that I payed extra for, was completely plain. No butter with the rolls that I payed extra for! They might be good if you eat in, but DO NOT TAKE OUT!
Every single thing about my order was wrong! Except for my tea. Both orders were incorrect/incomplete. They were not even remotely warm. Charged for 6 rolls, got 2 rocks instead. Ordered margarita cheesecake, got plain cheesecake. No gravy on meatloaf.(But somehow, there was gravy inside the bag.) Steak couldn’t be cut with utensils it was so tough. TERRIBLE FOOD!!!!!
I loved the bread rolls and the fries. The macaroni was pretty good too, we all definitely ate good there and I was nice and full. Our waiter Jordan C was really nice and he had already separated the salad for us, also he was very attentive and just overall a good person. Our experience here was definitely a great one.
We ate there today for lunch. There were 7 couples. We must have gotten the worst waitress on staff. She was slower than a 7 year itch. I ordered the grilled salmon with baked beans and corn. When it was served the corn and beans were Luke warm and the salmon was cold. Then she couldnt figure out how to ring up our Bills. That lady needs more training or should be fired. Not a good experience.
Our server was very overwhelmed as right after they sat us they sat her four more times. As the Manager and another server stood in the kitchen flirting and playing around. A puddle of water in server station that busy staff almost fall multiple times as the other two just played around. The Manager really failed at leading his crew on this occasion.
Fish was still cold and appetizers never arrived. On a positive note the waitor removed the charges for the food that was cold and undelivered appetizers. Staff just seemed to be off from previous visits. They normally have been very good at service and food has usually been good. I will go again and hope this was just a one-off visit.
I will never eat there again. Meal was terrible. I ordered baby back ribs and they were cold. Then my spouse ordered a Salmon dish and the Salmon was raw. I asked to speak to manager about food and she tried to say it that Salmon is cooked liked this. Wrong wedidnt ask for sushi. The server kept apologizing for food. I did tell him it was not his fault. It was the cook and the manager needs to make things right for the customer. We paid for that Salmon dish 19.99 and didnt even eat it. I would have given it a zero star but there was no option to give it that.
The minute we walked in, the hostess acted like we were a burden to her. While she walked us to our booth, she asked if sitting at the bar was ok. It’s not where I’d prefer, but since she sat us down first without waiting for our response, that is where we stayed. We ordered an appetizer, then waited about 10 more minutes to order our meal. Our meal came, but our appetizers never came. When I asked to make sure that the appetizer was not added to my ticket since it never came, all I was told was “ok”. I realize I probably didn’t get an answer or a response because I asked the person that brought us our food, not our waitress. For our waitress had not come back since she took our order. (We waited 30 minutes for our food). I still tipped our waitress well, even though we were not treated like welcomed guests by ANY of the staff or received good care while at our table. We didn’t get our drinks refilled or asked if we needed anything. We had to hunt our waitress down for our check. It’s been a long hard year for a lot of people, but I expect better.
Really if I could give it zero stars I would. We didnt have a good experience last time we went, and the only reason we came back was because the restaurant we wanted to go to had a hour long wait. Immediately when we walked in they couldnt figure out the seating thing, and ended up having 5 people over there to figure it out. Once we got seated, our table hadnt been cleaned and was sticky. The plates given to us for the bread had brown sticky stains, and the time before they had ketchup stains, which makes me think they hadnt been washed before. Our waiter was nice, but she didnt know the menu, and had trouble recalling the details of certain items. I ordered potato soup, which came out lukewarm. My mom ordered a Cesar salad, and it was warm, and salmon, which was so overcooked that it looked like half fish and half steak. My dad ordered ribs, which were cool to the touch, like they had just been taken out of a fridge and poorly microwaved We spoke to the manager about it, and we expected for her to take off the things we didnt eat, or to at least take off for the things that were wrong, but she only took off the fries and the fish. The last time we were here my mom found an entire quarter Im her tea. I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody with standards.
Worst place I have ever eaten at! We ordered a to go order waited 20 minutes before going to pick it up and then had to wait another 30 at the restaurant! Got food home ordered lots of ranch NO RANCH! Ordered 2 medium rare steaks one was well done and chewy the other so red I think it mooed! Ordered a chicken sandwich too. Then to top it off the chicken was RAW! So gross 🤮 The steaks had no flavor. We have called several times and the same answer the general manager will call ! No call from general manager and it has been 24 hours. The last person was so rude and snotty! I am visiting out of state visiting and will never eat there again. I want my money back!!!! I have a pic of raw chicken if anyone is interested.
Horrible experience. Ordered 2 steaks medium rare and came delivered raw. Ordered extra avocado for a salad and received no extra avocado. No condiments we ordered were included. Called multiple times and hung up on before being able to speak with Joshua the manager. While Joshua was offering to comp part of the order, the call went silent and after more attempts to connect with any employee, I was ultimately told that since its a busy time it would be better to leave my contact info and someone would call me in two days. I didnt realize in-person customers had a higher priority but I guess here it does. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone as a much higher food prep quality, level of professionalism, and better customer service is expected for the amount one has to pay.
It was my Father’s Day gift from my children. First off we were seated after 30 to 45 minutes after we were waiting for a table. I kept watching and there were plenty of tables available. We should have left after seeing several people leaving the restaurant and they were very mad. They were waiting just as we were. I guess I was happy to see them leave so we could be seated didn’t figure it out why they were leaving until we were seated. We were waiting on a waiter and when one showed up after we were seated for quite some time and asked us if we need any drinks. While waiting we were looking at the menu and when we finally got one we gave her our order right away, we were waiting again for our order she brought some of the food and left some of the order back in the kitchen. We were still waiting on the rest of the order and the ones that did have some of their meal started eating. My wife was the last to get her meal and she was informed that her order was given to another person. We were all thru with our dinner. Her order was a steak and was asked how she would like it and she said medium well. The waitress noticed that she was still waiting on it and came back over to check on her and she said that she would take it home. When we got home we found the steak was very rare and we had to cook it again. We are definitely not going to go back again. We have had several holidays and anniversary dinners there and enjoyed our meal. We even had the manager come over to our table and complained how hot we were and asked if they could lower the cooling, she said it was as low as possible We noticed that the fans were all running in the wrong direction to cool the area she said that they have no way to change the fans. This should be checked into to make it more comfortable for the guest.
The food we received was good, but the customer service was lacking. I took my family of 4 there and there was something wrong with every order. I ordered a salad for my side and got waffle fries, my husband ordered BBQ beans and got a loaded baked potato. We waited 30 minutes for a table but they must have been short staffed because they only had 10-12 tables open. We never were offered refills of our drinks. It was a sad experience because we thought they had closed, but we wanted to try them and sadly wont go back.
This used to be my favorite restaurant to go in. Now its on my do not even go list. The host was rude and pretty much ignored us when we walked in. And she kept picking up the phone but immediately hanging it back up. There were probably 6 tables that sat dirty the whole time we ate. And had people standing up at the front to be seated. They never came to fill our drinks. The meatloaf sliders and chicken breasts were cold and not very good. Good luck if you are trying to get steak, thats not very good either. Place has gone down hill. Do not recommend.
Weve always wanted to go to Logans Roadhouse, but this was our first opportunity to dine there. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was very good, the steaks were done just as we ordered them and juicy/ tender, the prices were remarkably less than most steakhouses we go to which is why they earned the five star rating that I rarely give.
On a night where the restaurants on either side were packed, Logans was almost empty. It was because it has gone far downhill. The bread was stale. Our salads has clearly been sitting in the fridge for several hours. The croutons were tough, the lettuce was limp. When our steaks arrived, quickly Ill give them that, they were cold. They were filled with gristle. They were not seared. They were not seasoned. For the first time in my life I considered using A1 sauce. We did not eat the food, we paid and left with our plates full. The waitstaff was great. The food was terrible.
My medium filet was well done and tough as shoe leather, my husbands medium well sirloin was practically raw. And his baked potato had been reheated so many times it was dark brown and tasted burned.. not white and fluffy like a baked potato should be. When you pay that much money for a nice dinner and get served terrible food it is literally hard to swallow... no pun intended. We didnt talk to the manager that night because we were not looking for a free meal. Its just sad to think that another business will close because of bad products..not bad service, bad food
Went to Logans in MWC today to celebrate my daughters birthday. I ordered a ribeye steak. About 20 minutes after placing the order, the server came back and said they didnt have any ribeyes. Its a steak house! I changed my order to grilled shrimp. When we finally got our order the food was cold and the shrimp didnt taste grilled at all. Very disappointed with the food and the service. The server never even checked to see if we wanted drink refills. My daughters birthday dinner was a disaster!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. Placed an order online. Picked it up and it was missing the fried okra, A-1 sauce and the cheesecake. When we called the restaurant for a refund, I was told the only way to get a refund was to come in. That’s a bunch of b.s. this is by far the worst restaurant customer service I have encountered in a very long time. This place either needs training and shut down. Sorry we spent our hard earned money here.
Was pleasantly surprised the improvements in food quality here on my visit 12-12-20. Probably the best logans visit in years. We ended up here since Salt grass was too busy and Im glad it was we walked right in got a seat and had a dang good meal.. The burgers could improve a bit still.. But the food was definitely better than previous 2 visits I had the last year.
We decided to try this restaurant after friends said they enjoyed it. We found the service very good, but the food was mediocre. The onion petals appetizer was overpriced for what we got and the petals were greasy. My husbands salad was good. And then our meals arrived. His rack of ribs was huge and fell off the bone. The problem was the sauce tasted as though it had been added at the last minute and the ribs were lukewarm. There was no real caramelization to it. His baked potato was fine. My teriyaki chicken was not much more than room temperature, although the grilled pineapple was nicely done. The potato chips were overdone and had no seasoning. Our waiter was great and replaced them with excellent French fries. Do be sure to ask for lots of ketchup as the containers are only about a quarter full at best. My cinnamon apples were lukewarm. During a prime lunch hour with a nearly empty restaurant there really is no reason for lukewarm food.In a town full of steakhouses, there are better places to eat. I would suggest Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn, or the local Dyers as better choices.
Worst restaurant you could possibly eat at. Ordered 2 steaks and a chicken sandwich that was said to be done in 30 minutes and had to wait an extra 50. Finally got our food and the order was severely incomplete. The steaks had been cooked wrong and one of the was RAW! On top of all of this our chicken sandwich came out raw! whenever we try contact them they are completely rude and say we will hear from a general manager and still havent.
Currently sitting at a table and Ill tell you what. This places service aint that great. The drinks they brought to us were pure carbonation. No soda flavor at all. And when I asked for fresh drinks she looked at me all rude. When they brought our new fresh drinks they werent that great either. Their salad was good and fresh. And their biscuits are delicious. I didnt like that I had to ask for the biscuits. I thought they just brought them out with salad. I ordered Fish & Chips with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. And the fried fish was mushy inside instead of flaky like I thought it would be. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the broccoli was undercooked. I rate this place 3 stars
We had a horrible experience here. We got to the restaurant about 15 minutes before closing, I asked two different hostess if it was okay for us to eat due to the time. The response was let me check. The bartender ended up seating us and told us it would be okay. We waited for one of the waitresses to get our order and after waiting 7 minutes, we saw multiple waitresses walk by without taking our drink order. We ended up leaving but not before I spoke with the manager about what happened. If I was told they were getting ready to close we couldve found another place to eat, in fact we went to Applebees to eat, much better choice I may add.
Had a good time. The portions are good sized but we had some issues. Not with the staff, they were super friendly and attentive, but two out of four people ordered steak. Both steaks had to be returned to the kitchen because they were well done and we ordered then medium. When they both came back, one steak was cooked properly, the other was rare, and sent back a second time. The manager did apologize and discounted the meal. The other two, a half-rack rib meal and chicken were cooked properly and enjoyable.
My order was really messed up. I ordered the prime rib meal with mushrooms an garlic butter, rolls, fries, and Mac and cheese. My prime rib was ice cold to the point the garlic butter never even melted at all. No mushrooms or rolls were in the order. And the Mac and cheese has 0 flavor at all. First time in Texas and wanted to have a amazing cut of beef for dinner after a long day of driving. So sad that this sad attempt of food is how I get to have as a memory of this trip.
7 strikes against them tonight. Ordered an appetizer but never got them. Ordered chicken tenders but didn’t get the honey mustard. Also ordered a premium side but never got it. Husband had to order ketchup twice. Finally got it but it was only a teaspoon in each of the 2 containers!!! They tried to charge for the side I didn’t get. They also WAY overcooked my husbands chicken fried steak and my sweet potato (the skin was so charred it was flaking off.) Actually that’s more than 7 strikes. Probably won’t go back to this Logan’s.
Excellent waitress!I screwed up my order completely. I forgot to tell the waitress about an allergy & I said the wrong choice for how to cook the meat. The waitress was awesome and fixed my mistakes with a lovely smile on her face! She kept our drinks full and was always attentive. Plus the food was delicious. Great way to end my vacation!!
So Im from Lubbock and went to Amarillo to pick up a treadmill from best buy. My daughter went with me and we knew we were gonna eat in Amarillo. We couldnt decide but finally decided on Logans as we LOVE Logans in Lubbock and thought wed go here. Well let me tell you the two are by any means the same. The bread was....not fresh and smaller which is fine I just thought theyd be the same as our restaurant. We ordered our usual med rare steak 🥩 for my 10yr old and lemon pepper salmon for me. Our waiter didnt even ask my daughter to cut into it and check it. Needless to say not hers not mine tasted anything like it does at Logans in Lubbock. CMon guys ya need to step it up. Logans in Lubbock is always packed. It was us and only one other couple in there. Its cuz yall food sux. Sorry and dont want to be ugly but being honest. Wouldnt be surprised to hear yall shut down cuz thats how bad the blood was.🤷♀️
I would give them less if I could This is my fourth call to tthem, they keep hanging up on me I started at 9:23 granted they close at 10 but come on I want a pick up order.. They obviously dont need them business. Im from out of state relocating here in Amarillo. I will be sure and remember Logans Roadhouse but it wont be a good memory and Ill be sure and share that memory with everyone I know
We ordered a pick up order from there and we waited about an hour for our food and when we picked it up we didn’t get our side of condiments we ordered more than once our steaks weren’t cooked how they where supposed to be and had absolutely no flavor and on top of it on a chicken sandwich the chicken was RAW when we called we have talked to 3 different employees and they all day a general manager will contact us and they never do and the last time we called they just acted as if this was an inconvenience when we could have gotten sick from the raw chicken. So if your looking for a raw chicken sandwich
Logans is typically a great place to eat, but our visit wasnt up to Logans standards. We had a cold hamburger and fries delivered to our table, to which we were told it would be corrected. The hamburger came back within 4 minutes. Obviously it was put back on the grill rather than having a new plate prepared... Remember the cold fries? Well, they were even colder on the second arrival. Our waiter was trying his best, but the kitchen staff let him down.
This was a Tuesday night so it wasnt busy at all. Horrible food. My wife ordered the anything, everything salad. The chicken that came with it was extremely dry. It was very hard to chew. I ordered The Logan. I wanted it medium. It came out medium well ALMOST well done. Tried it and it was very tough. Took it back to remake it. Then I was brought back the baked potato by itself instead of waiting and bringing them back together. Once the steak finally came back, this time it was pretty much medium rare. I didnt dare send it back again. I do NOT recommend coming here.
I was there with a very large group (40+) after a funeral. While they were able to accommodate us on Valentines weekend, there werent enough servers for all of us. The food came out and it was chaos! My adult son ordered a 16 oz. prime rib. It was more like 6 oz., so he was hungry when he left. Nobody knew which food went where and they kept yelling out what plates they were holding, addingtothe calamity. The sweet tea was NOT. A few of us kept trying to get sweet tea and kept getting unsweetened. They finally figured out that someone had forgotten to put sugar in it. Several glasses of tea were wasted due to this. One person ordered peach tea and waited 30 minutes for it, while everyone around him had their drinks. All in all, Im grateful they were able to fit us in. However, the service was terrible! Our reservation was made two days in advance, so they had ample time to find people to focus solely on the room where we were all seated. I hope they dont treat every customer this way. If so, I dont know how they remain in business.
Arrived at Logans about 2:40pm. We were greeted and seated by a friendly young woman. There were only 6 or seven tables of people including ourselves. Our waitress was nice, she brought our drinks, took our order and then brought the most amazingly sinful yeast rolls that Ive ever eaten. Im not one who usually eats the bread, but lord help me I had two. The meal came and I had ordered the fried fish and baked potato. The rest of the family had the salmon grilled on a plank. We all agreed the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that it took a little longer to get our meal, than I wouldve thought. Since there were not many people at that time of day. In fact at one point, I thought maybe they had to go fishing for our lunch.I would still recommend that you try Logans Road House. Its a good place to eat, relax and enjoy the people your with. Oh and throw your peanut shells on the floor. Every table gets their own bucket of nuts and those your sitting with also.
I ordered the 16oz t-bone and it was not a good cut of meat. It was a very thin cut of meat(for t-bone ribeye), very dry, and could tell it was not a fresh or aged at all. It had that grey rubber/texture to it and the meat was tough with little flavor. I always order medium rare and I got medium-to medium well. For the same price me and my wife could have went to Texas Roadhouse, we decided to try Logans instead because we were in a hurry. There is probably a reason why on a Saturday night they were the only place without a wait(called a couple of other different places that all had a 30-45 minute wait time).I have always given Texas Roadhouse a 4+ rating, I always get the t-bone from them and it is always thick, juicy, and you can tell it’s fresh. We should have just waited for Texas Roadhouse. Heck even the rolls at Logans were not very good.
Great service. But nobody, and I mean nobody, will serve you a burger thats pink in the middle. Makes me not want you eat out. Please understand, the food was good but, a burger cooked how I ask for it to be cooked is big time important to me. The quest will continue.
Not sure if this was just bad luck but I probably wont visit again to find out. The steaks were not cooked correctly and burned on the outside. The appetizers were missing items. Our service was not good at all. And whatever you do do not order the crabcakes. Seriously looked like they were from Burger King and tasted foul.
The food is still really good (which is why I still give them 3 stars), but the last 3 or 4 times we have gone to Logans the service has been very poor. It seems to have been getting worse over the last 6 months or so. They arent rude or anything, but the wait staff do not visit the table often (they seem to be spread across sections or having to carry out other duties) and the kitchen is very slow getting orders out. There are also minor errors with orders such as incorrectly cooked steaks which they do not check when they bring them to the table and missing or switched up sides. We used to love Logans, but the long wait times and neglectful service have led us to the decision that we arent going back. Maybe it is a management issue, I dont know, but something is definitely wrong with the running of this restaurant.
Not good. Order was wrong, and food was overcooked. My chicken was literally a burnt piece of breading. I wish I could take a picture to show. I really hate leaving bad reviews but this was so upsetting, we had it delivered to our house to they told me is was door dashes problem.....the delivery wasnt the problem it was the food. Missed items, burnt items, and the items that were prepared were wrong. So very upsetting.
Will not be back. Was totally ignored for a good 15 minutes while waiting at the door. The restaurant was virtually empty. The host finally came out and sat the elderly couple that was ahead of me, took their drink orders, brought their drinks, then took their food orders. All while not even acknowledging that I was standing there. Very poor service!
We were they for an hour before we got our food....and they were not that busy! They were out of 8oz steak which I ordered so had to pay more and up size, they were more out of roadie burgers (for kids) so she said I will give him another meal and not charge for either....but it was still on ticket had to ask to have it removed. They were out of broccoli.....I ordered my steak medium it was cooked well done! Waitress was very slow. It was horrible. It will be a lo g time before I go back there again
We went into the restaurant around 2pm and we were greeted by a friendly gentleman in a red shirt (cant remember his name) but he was very nice and took great care of us. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye cooked medium rare and it tasted amazing. I thought the food and the service were amazing and so did my mother and girlfriend. We would definitely go back. Thank you for a great experience!
Service was good. Ordered medium well steak got well done. Ordered mashed potatoes with cheese and sour cream. No sour cream but was charged for loaded. Potatoe soup was cold. Last few times weve been here weve noticed business has gone down. Theres always a new manager each time.
I am not sure what has happened to this place. We went around lunch time and it was so dead. We were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter was super nice however its very hard to hear with the music so loud. The filet mignon was melt in my mouth amazing. However the green beans were very lack luster, even after adding salt and pepper they were flavorless. Their new waffle fries were great.
Ive been here 3 times and all 3 times I had the same poor experience. Service was mediocre and the food left little to be desired.Today I ate there and ordered a hamburger. The manager came out shortly after I ordered and notified me they were out of hamburger patties.I wasnt all that big of a deal, so I ordered a steak medium rear instead. When I received my order I cut into the steak only to find the center was raw. I let the server know and she took it back. The manager came back about 10 minutes later with a new steak. I cut into it to find it was cooked just short of well done. I told the manager it was ok, but to be honest I really didnt feel like waiting again for them to recook my order. Its apparent to me that not only the management, but you guys in the corporate office do not care at all about your customers. You guys have ensured that I will not return EVER!PS you received 1 star only because this review would not post without it!
When we got there we got a table immediately but it had to be wiped clean under it.. honestly don’t give you customers a table where a lot of Mac and cheese is on the floor but clean up first. Drinks took a while but waiter was friendly. Food came for both me and my husband hey forgot the second side, by the time someone came to check and we could express it we were basically done eating. His response was.. well sides are not Charged separately so it won’t affect your bill. Than he brings us the bill, we say we still like to order some dessert, he does apologize and brings us dessert. Than we get the bill and the discount for military is wrong ( should 10% but was only 1%). So I go back to him and they re do the check, still kot correct but couldn’t be bothered anymore. Food was fine, nothing special but okay, but service just lacks some
Im going 4 stars... the steak was cooked perfect and tasted great. The rice was over cooked or something.. I bit into a few hard pieces. It was weird. The poor little shrimp on a skewer had burnt tails and looked pretty skimpy. The mozzarella sticks were good though and I love the rolls. The little girl working the hostess position should not be in that position. She looked like she hated her job and didnt greet us with a bubbly hello. And then the girl that took us to our table took off and we were standing there like are we supposed to follow her? About the time we said that, she turned around and said right this wayThey are trying, Ill give them that.Would I go back? Yea... I would.
Service by bar staff was absolutely amazing as the bartender was extremely attentive at all times. The lady manager kept hidden in the back and never came to help any of the staff in the front. Also watched as the manager take a ringing phone off the hook and sat it by the phone to stop it from ringing. Management in this location is absolutely horrible!! Being a General manager my self it’s sad to see how the management in this facility treats their guests and staff.
Service was terrible, one guy covering what seemed to be half the restaurant. Seemed to very rushed, very curt. Forgot parts of the order (there were only 2 of us). Food finally came, my steak was medium as ordered on half and rare on the other half, and it was lukewarm. Never offered refills, asked how the food was or asked about dessert. $60+ for 2, should be a much better experience.
Wow! Not what I expected for the price, but highly enjoyable. The food was nicely prepared, though the gravy on my chicken fried steak wasnt up to par. My friends all enjoyed their steak & ribs and knowing I was going to do this review, even shared a rib or two. They wereSPOT ON!! As soon as I picked up a rib by the bone all the meat just slipped off back on the plate! Shockingly tender and juicy, just melting in my mouth! The only turn off for yours truly was the practice of shelling your complementary peanuts that were on the table for who knows how long, onto the floor! Im sure this was supposed to add to the ambience of the place. But what about hygiene people?! This is an eating establishment. Added with dropped food on the floor, I was constantly wondering how many roaches and other vermin had taken up residence in the kitchen.
Sadly this is a Never Again for me. Server was sloppy and rude, he completely spilled water all over the table where my son was seated and didnt bother to clean it up or even offer napkins for the mess. He made a mess with the butter on the table as well. I ordered a steak med-well which came out really rare and when I returned it to be fixed it came back over cooked, almost burnt. The margaritas were a complete joke. The restaurant looks nice but the service is really lacking and disappointing. Not worth the money spent at ALL!!(About 1yr ago)
Great service! This was our 51st Anniversary. I had an excellent ribeye with fries and mushrooms. My wife had a sirloin with a sweet potato and skewered sp? vegetables that she said was wonderful. They also have the best yeast rolls that melt in your mouth. Im already to go back just writing about it. Great place!
They used to be good, but not anymore. We hadnt been in a while & decided to go again - and then remembered why we werent going. The service was subpar & the food was edible but not worth the money. I used to like their steaks, but it seems they are using cheaper cuts. They forgot one of our meals & had to go back & have it made. We had to ask multiple times for requested items to be brought. Just dont waste your money.
We went with a group. The wait time was a little extraordinary. Expected at times we understand that. Then came the slow service! It took forever to get any drinks, the steaks were overcooked and nothing but fat. I would recommend going anywhere but to logans. Salt grass has amazing service and Texas roadhouse. We havent yet tried any others but I promise you would be better off going somewhere else.
Logan’s is one of my favorite places here in Amarillo however, last night we had my husbands birthday dinner and our waitress was extremely rude and slow. She messed up our ticket twice and when we told her something she snatched the ticket out of my friends hands. My friend told her what was wrong with the ticket and her response was “I’m aware you don’t have to tell me”. We had a kid table with my kids and my friends kids apparently they were taking a while to order (because they’re little kids)and she whispered “oh Jesus”. Worst service we’ve ever gotten from there.
The service tonight (2/24/19) at Logan Roadhouse in Amarillo, Texas was less than stellar. The waiter (AJ) at the very least was mediocre. He seemed like it was an inconvenience to him when we had to flag him down for refills, rolls or just standard service that most waiter/waitresses are trained to do and usually ask before they are flagged down. When questions about the delay on the rolls which we waited for over 10-15 minutes for, he got and attitude and was defensive and walked away and got the manager. The manager took awhile to come to the table. We got tired of waited and started to leave as the bill was already paid. This is when we ran into the manager as we were on our way out. I mentioned to her that the service was terrible and told here why. She, of course said the standard Im sorry, that she would talk to him and to have a good evening, but in a condescending tone. Typical brush off....
The music was so loud, not many customers so it made the music bounce off the walls. Manager refused to lower the volume stati g corporate wants to promote a roadhouse atmosphere. I like music, but not to where it injured your ear drums. We wont be going back. The food wasnt that good to overlook the loud music.
Hands down the worst dining experience ive ever had in Amarillo. I have no clue how this location remains open in such a restaurant-centric city. The peanuts were hard, discolored, and stale. My cocktail tasted like some trash can punch with a pink sugar rim; it was gross. Our appetizer never arrived. My steak, ordered medium, was cooked well done. My son, who never complains about dining out, complained that his macaroni was dry and undercooked.P.S. It seems the proprietors responding to these negative reviews want us to pick up the phone and call. I have no interest in doing so. No gift certificate will bring me back. Thanks!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience; the food, although a bit pricy, was delicious. I ordered the sausage and brisket from the slow and smoked platter; my wife and stepdaughter both ordered the ribs and brisket. The portions were generous; so much so that we are taking our leftovers home. The pork fries are a delicious appetizer, and I chased it all down with blackberry tea. It is a joy writing reviews like this. Those who gave the restaurant bad reviews must have eaten at a different restaurant than I did.
There was not an opportunity to choose zero stars or I would have done it. Two weeks ago, we made a reservation for tonight for approx 20 people celebrating my granddaughters birthday. Even called Logans yesterday to confirm the reservation. When we got there, early, we were informed others had been seated at our table and we would have to wait....for almost an hour. Several of our steaks and burgers were undercooked. One of the buns on the burgers was so hard we couldnt cut it with a knife. We sent a cut up almost raw steak back and they brought the same pieces back to the table instead of a new steak, and the waitress said, oh we just put them back on the grill with the others all the time. Hmm.. No, serve a new one, please! Yes, we did have a large party, but Logans knew we were coming two weeks ago! No reason for this bad experience to have happened! None of us will be back.
I had the 6oz. Sirloin ..it was cooked perfectly, salad was fresh, and very good....service was good, and friendly. Rolls, hot and fresh.. butter was delicious. Back in early summer I was there, and the butter was rancid tasting...steak was horrible...but the new manager Randall is great !! Our food was delicious!
I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. I have been coming here for years and they have officially lost my business. My husband ordered a steak cooked medium-well and when it came out it was still mooing!! I got the salmon and they served it over a bed of charcoal! I have ate fish that tasted less fishy than what my salmon did. AND finally when did they start rationing there freaking bread rolls! Beyond mad! Oh! The butter was still frozen when brought out and we saw our waitress 1 time! But she could go talk to everyone else. On top of that I could drink a gallon of water Im so freaking thirsty!
Probably wont be back for a while. The poor guy at the grill was all alone. The hostess seemed to be doing her job and everyone elses. Not enough wait staff for New Years Eve. Everything was in slow motion and the side room was not even in use. No manager on duty either. I love Logans. My husband doesnt.😕
I dont like writing negative reviews, but i feel obligated to for all those future I-40 travelers. Do not eat here. I couldve microwaved the meal better myself. The hamburger better resembled meatloaf than any hamburger Ive ever had. The chopped steak was covered in a pond of grease. The french fries were harder and crunchier than croutons. Our table was also home to a small colony of flies that pestered us the whole meal. Lastly, while our waitress was very nice, the food took far too long given that the restaurant was empty. Simply put, I would have gotten more satisfaction out of lighting $20 on fire than paying for this meal.
Been here before, but my recent visit was not a good experience. If I wasnt with good company, I would have most likely walk out. Arrived at 6pm and seated, didnt get meal until 7:30. Larger group... one salad wrong, one salad not brought, one with no dressing. Room temperature too cold. One meal wrong. Took over 30 minutes to have tickets split and they were wrong. Small children past bed time at restaurant for 2 1/2 hours only due to slow and service lacking.
Will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. ORDERED 1/2 POUND CHOPPED STEAK COOKED MEDIUM WITH MASHED POTATOES AND OKRA. GOT HERE AND NO OKRA. STEAK WAS NOT EVEN 1/4 POUND AND LIKE CHARCOAL. ORDERED SHRIMP STACKED SALMON. WITH BROCCOLI AND A SALAD. NO BROCCOLI. YOU WOULD THINK $50 FOR A MEAL IT WOULD BE GOOD. IM SO DISSATISFIED THAT I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANOTHER LOGANS EVER!!
I arrived and was seated within seconds. Though, I sat there waiting for almost 10 minutes before someone asked me if anyone had taken my drink. I ordered a steak (medium well) with broccoli and a Caesar salad. My steak came out, way under cooked and my salad was MIA. The waiter took my steak back to cook it a bit Ionger and brought me my salad (which by the way, was hard to eat. Too much vinegar). Then, they brought me someone else’s steak (twice). I kept telling them I didn’t order that and they kept bringing it out to me. About 8 minutes passed and they finally found the steak owner. It was pretty funny to watch! The best part is, they were NOT busy.
Waited longer than told. Just my wife and i for dinner. Took the waitress awhile to get to us. Appetizers did not take long but main course took for ever. My wifes stake was slightly under cooked but her shrimp was toast. She couldnt even eat it. The table next to us was seated after us. They had full meals and left shortly after our food came.
Came in and was seated between two other booths with customers at each. Ordered our drinks. While we waited for our drinks, there were complaints from each table. We opened the menus (dirty). We were deciding whether or not to eat here when our drinks arrived. One was wrong. That made our decision. We are drinking our drinks now and leaving. The rolls were not warm. I knew at 6pm, it was worrisome that there were only 5 tables occupied.
My grandfathers steak (ordered pink in the middle) came out well done, my grandmothers mushroom skewer was cold when it came to the table. My steak tasted good in the sense that rub or marinade was good but the cut i ordered shouldnt have had as much fat on it as mine did.Saw a Trump 2020 hat on a guy, place was full of old people, not a good place to go for 30 and under :/Would have gave 1 star but the baked potatoes were good.
You know over the years Logan was the place to go. Great atmosphere and great energy around the whole staff. But in the last 3 years they have really not taken care of the essentials that makes the business grow. Overall there are days that the food is really good and the place is pretty packed but the majority of the time it will only be the bar area. I think they could make some changes to the outside of the restaurant. Make it more presentable. But I still love going here because of the rolls and deals they usually have going on. Still a good place for a college student or for a family meal.
Ordered wings in buffalo sauce.. Terrible taste, salty and dry.. The service was good they gave us a nice spacious spot for our baby car seat, the waitress was helpful and she was attentive. The rest of the family enjoyed their food, maybe they just dont know how to preoare wings.. Good place overall..
If i could give this 0 stars i would we went last night and it was the worste experience ever. We waited 1 hour 30 min for 2 burgers and 2 french dips only to get raw burgers and cold dried out 1 slice of roast beef on bread. The plates were cold and we had maybe 8 french fries on each pkate so when we asked about the french fries the waitress said oh they wanted me to wait for more but i didnt want your food to get cold (umm to late for that) and the service was aweful not only did the waitress spill a whole glass of water on my husband but then brings napkins to clean it up only to lay them down for us to clean the table so we asked for a towel and instead of going to get us 1 right away to prevent getting any wetter she goes to the next table and takes there order. I would highly recommend going anywhere besides here worste service and food i had ever experienced.
They were awful I had to call 3 times just to place an order because they kept hanging up on me. Went to pick up my order and they said they couldnt find my name for the order then they charged me full price after saying they would give a military discount. The service sucks and I would not recommend this place. They cant even do their job right
If I could give zero stars I would, but I guess the fried pickles and rolls are worth two stars. Every thing else was awful! It was so bad and dirty that Logans gave my family free meals to make up for it. When we went back the second time it was just as awful. Its a shame bc they used to be really good. There are too many good steak houses out there for them to be serving food this bad.
Worst place Ive probably ever eaten. We ordered the brisket nachos which were cold and full of fat. I NEVER send food back , but I sent this pile of disgust back . They brought fried pickles which were not much better. I generally love fried pickles from everywhere . I mean how can you mess those up? Logans figured out a way. My meal was the chopped steak on a bed of mashed potatoes with broccoli. This steak was a glorified hamburger patty. As SOON as I got home , my body completely rejected it and was throwing it up. Never will eat at this place ever again. They should be ashamed.
Great service, friendly people, and some of the absolute best yeast rolls and butter youll ever have. Sadly goes down hill after that. Ordered pork chops with corn and mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The mashed potatoes and corn were good, but the gravy reminded me of bulk frozen brown gravy. The pork chops reminded me of frozen those frozen smoked chicken breasts you get from Sams Club. It was definitely pork, but they seemed pre-made and previously frozen and just reheated , and were dry and tough. My daughter liked her popcorn shrimp, so that was good. And the cinnamon apples were hot and tasty, though the apples were a little over cooked and mushy for my taste, they were still a hit for both of us.

2022-02-06I had a 4:00pm reservation for 15 people for my son’s birthday! Show up and Melvin the manager says they don’t do reservations! I informed him that I had made reservations and they said for groups of 15 or larger they did reservations. Thought Melvin was acting weird! Finally at 4:30 was seated and order placed. First two orders came out about thirty minutes later. Steak was over cooked and so was burger. Then the few of the rest slowly came out! And we’re all screwed up and cooked completely wrong! Finally at 6:15 canceled the rest of the order’s! After talking to Melvin the manager again realized he was stoned beyond understanding problems.this guy could not even stay focused and looking at you in the face! Our wait staff was amazing! Kay was our waitress and could not say sorry enough! I would strongly suggest going else where.. I hate this for Kay! She deserves so much better!

2022-07-05This place has seen way better days. It’s on its last leg at this point. The food was terrible. Literally they cooked and served me a slice of beef jerky. Even the A1 couldn’t save the meal. Was dry and took forever rto chew down. The salad was red and out of date and the croutons were old rolls that didn’t get eaten I’m supposing with how stale they were.We waited to be seated in the almost empty restaurant for about 8 mins before someone came to greet us. When I sat down I was able to see the hostess doing other persons jobs in the kitchen and because so, people were not being welcomed and sat in a timely manner. The only saving grace for our meal was that the drinks were ok, and the waitress was super nice and attentive.

2021-10-16Be fouled. Long waits for no apparent reason at all, when a steak is ordered as well done you get it pink despite the over 1 hour a await amongst the 4 whole tables they have to serve. And then, the staff gossiping, hanging around in groups of 4 or 5 and doing absolutely nothing but talking amongst themselves! Too bad Resturant Steakout doesnt come do a special on this place, save your money and time people and move on! I will not return with my family!

2022-02-11We were greeted and sat quickly. Dominique was our waitress and she was very nice. Restrooms were clean as well as the dinning room floor. 3 of the 4 meals came out ready to eat but my chicken was undercooked to the point it was still raw inside. I brought it to the attention of a young man who quickly removed the plate of food to have it remade. It was cooked well once it came back out. Fried okra was cooked well also.My meal was compted so that was nice although I did not make a stink nor did I ask for it to be. Overall we have an enjoyable and good dinner. We will return.

2022-02-26We ordered two Anything and everything salads for a to go order via google. It was picked up and when opened at the hotel we found that the mesquite chicken was not included in both salads. I called the restaurant and asked if the salad included chicken and the person that answered the phone did not think so. I looked at the menus again and it did. Was transferred to another person that told me they forgot my chicken and they would remake our salads. I went back over to pick them up and was provided the missing chicken. So we took that back to add to our salads. After further inspection we noticed the salads were missing more items. Blue cheese crumbles, cranberries, walnuts, hard boiled egg and the chopped bacon. It was also missing the extra dressing I paid for. It was getting late so I did not return to the restaurant and decided to eat what I had. Our thought was to try something new. In the end the Chick-fil-A salad would have been a better choice.

2022-02-21Lots of wonderful selections to choose from. Service was also exemplary. Right on restaurant row off I-40 and Soncy. I’d give it 5 stars but there is one other (only one other) restaurant that stands head and shoulders above all others in Amarillo when it comes to steak, and it gets my 5 star rating. I’d compare this restaurant to Texas Roadhouse: equally appealing, and both 4 stars…because neither are as good as….. ;)

2022-03-15Waited 30 minutes to be seated but it was busy. Waited about a 45 minutes to get our dinner which was cold and dry. Husband had expensive steak and I had rib eye. Dry cold and tuff. Meals redone. Took another 20 minutes. Not satisfied. Rated 1 star since that was the lowest rating. Staff was great.

2022-03-29Had to send our steak back twice for them to get it cooked to medium how we ordered it. The first time it was still mooing when we cut it in half. They brought it back out and we cut each half in half again to find it was cooked to medium rare. Sent it back and youd think they would just start over with a new steak, but no, out comes all 4 pieces finally cooked how it was ordered. The waitress apologized over and over, but we never saw a manager nor the cook. We will not be going back.

2022-06-27Ordered 3 burgers and one chicken sandwich to go. 30 minutes later they brought out 2 burgers for eat in. Took them back and finally got all 4. Mustard mayo and ketchup were to be on the side. $66 later, Opened the food at our room. No mustard mayo ketchup or utensil to eat baked beans. Stale buns and stale chips and stale waffle fries! Would not recommend at all.
