I have used this business for about the last 8 years, but Monday 13 December 2021 is the last time. I brought my green 4 door extended bed 2002 F250 7.3l automatic diesel with a Bronze Star license plate in for inspection. The gentleman told me my catalytic converter had been removed, and that he could tell it had been because he knows factory welds and those werent factory welds on my truck. This surprised me so much that I left, after verifying he would not perform the inspection and seeing that he had not raised the hood to look for any information stickers, and got inspected elsewhere. 1999-2003 7.3l diesels only have catalytic converters on manual transmissions, so there were two things at play here: that employee apparently accused me of removing my catalytic converter between last years inspection and this one, or that employee is performing inspections and maintenance and doesnt know what hes doing. Either way, although a veteran myself, I will no longer support this veteran owned business.
Very friendly outside staff..Asked me what I needed done today and I told them I needed a car wash and the inside clean and the dog hair gone. They looked the inside over and showed me how they were going to get rid of the hair with a pumice type stone...super impressed with that...so I went inside to pay and the lady inside kept me occupied talking which is always fun to do. I didnt even get to read my book. Oh and they have a little book exchange spot so since I had already read the book I had with me I exchanged it for a book I hadnt read before. Nice day all around.
First and foremost, if at any time you have an issue with the service, give them the opportunity to make things right. My first two visits i really felt like I wasted my money. After sharing my experience, James, the operations manager reached out to me and went above and beyond my expectations to rectify the situation. I left today with a truck that looked almost brand new! The interior has not been that spotless in a very long time. I will be taking my car back very soon to have that cleaned properly as well. If i can continue to get the service like I got today, then I will definitely be back time and time again! Great job gentlemen! Thank you so much!
They did an exceptional job on my old minivan that had been sitting for awhile. The staff were super friendly and genuinely cared about doing a good job. I paid about $100 for an almost full detail because of weather I couldnt get the seats and floors shampooed. I would use them again. I love their little gift shop too. Lots of biblical items.
Brought my 2015 Nissan Quest in for oil change. Reagan showed me under the hood how the filters were worn & then she solved a problem i had noticed about 6 months ago. A horrible smell was evident every time i started the car, like a dead animal smell. The odor permeated through the vents too. My husband looked under the car & under hood but could not see anything. When Reagan took the filter holder apart to replace it, she noticed a lot of dry cat food in the filter tray. Apparently a mouse in our garage was moving it there. The odor was most likely the mouse which was killed when the car was started & then got stuck under the very hot hood as i drove. Reagan discussed what needed to be done & explained everything. She was knowledgeable & professional. Thank you for the good service & outstanding employee. Amalea Wallis
I took my 2015 Ram 1500 here for them to do the works basically, make it look its best again. I had them vacuum, shampoo, and apply dressing to the interior, and wash, wax, and apply dressing to the outside, which I believed I seen somewhere it includes and undercarriage wash. The total came out to $218 or so I believe, so I figured that was fair. The interior was fantastic, not a spot was missed including between the seat and the center console. 5* there. But as far as exterior goes, a lot of trim was missed with the from restore even though you can tell they made a quick pass over it. A few spots didnt get the wax wiped off so I did have someone come over and try touching it up, but after watching him walk around clueless and I had to point out every spot to him, I eventually grabbed his rag and did it myself...Once I got home, I realized the undercarriage wasnt even touched, and half of the roof still had the wax on it, no attempt to wipe it off2* there.Ill probably return and go over it with a fine tooth comb again before I leave. Thanks!
If you choose to get your car cleaned and detailed at any other place other than Lost Pines full service, your doing it all wrong. Great experience, everybody was wonderful to deal with, David did a fantastic job I have never seen my truck look any whiter than this. From the time I pulled onto the lot till the time I left I was treated with the upmost respect, And my truck, oh they babied her like an over protective kindergarteners soccer mom who says no to koolaid post soccer practice cause she’s afraid it will rot her kids teeth.Bottom line, Go here for your next wash and detail you won’t be disappointed.
My husband and I used to get our cars washed there all the time. They have changed their prices on the car wash now ☹️ We got a free car wash because we got our oil changed the car wash is $6.00 but if you want a vacuum you have to pay $20.00. I just paid $38.00 and the still have bugs on the windshield they did not wipe down the inside doors. We will never go back to get any of our cars washed there again!!! We will use the Lube center always have a good experience there. Car wash will not get our business again!!!!!!
James,Your response is not accurate. I was standing there while the attendant told my wife and I that the capital Is on the form were in fact ones. Incorrect. He then said he needed to change the font on the computer to remedy the situation (not possible). We were never apologized to for the inconvenience either despite the older gentleman who does inspections admitting that he probably made a mistake. You also say that youve never tried to cause an issue with the tax office but the man said he disagreed with their staff regarding this VIN issue. There are correct ways to handle customer service issues. You didnt apologize, or show empathy at the time of the mistake, and now you are changing the story online. I am disappointed to say the least.Don’t come here for safety inspections. They typed our VIN number wrong on the safety paperwork, which made it invalid for registration. When we came back to have them remedy the mistake they accused of us of trying to cheat the state and then “respectfully disagreed” with the Bastrop county tax accessors office. Whatever that means. They ultimately fixed the paperwork which is why this is a 2 star review but we will not be giving them our business ever again in the future.
Best spot in Bastrop period.I was in a rush & arrived at 1pm, I had to pick up my son at 2pm & needed my F150 fuel injector worked on, it was sluggish and needed cleaned.I walked into a very busy shop & met Kollin at the front desk & asked if I should come back later after I picked my son up from work. Kollin said heck no I know we look busy but I can get it done in less than an hour. Not only did they do it Kollin took care of it personally. He was awesome and has been the manager since 2020 and the staff all love him and are great people too. While he worked we chatted about how he really wanted to keep Bastrop a friendly place with a small town attitude & I told him thats one of the reasons my entire family comes there because of the way they always treated people.I highly recommend this spot if youre looking for fast, friendly & sometimes even out of their way service to get you fixed up and ready to get back on the road fast.Everything went smoothly and I was right on time to pick up my son and get my other daily duties done.
Damaged my wheels on vehicle and would not fix problem very poor business they got back with me Friday like they wanted to fix problem stopped by car wash talked to new manager she took pics of damage about 2 hrs later she called me back said she needed 2 see if my wheels would aline with wash railing in wash how would that be possible when cars and trucks have all different size wheels and tires what a joke theses people are you want your vehicles damaged and not repaired take it to them
I had to wait a long time for someone to even approach me, then the guy that was vacuuming the car seen another vehicle pull up and and he walked off on the phone. Someone else had to come out and finish what he started while hes hiding in the back on the phone. Luckily Im not in a rush but as a customer I dont feel like coming back would suffice. Oh and the fi ish job was atrocious, thats what I get for being lazy.
I gave this place a shot because several people where I work go to them for oil changes. I dont know about their car wash service, but their oil change service is on par with other independent places I have gone and superior to experiences I have had with places like Jiffy Lube. Definitely worth trying if you are sick of using Wal-Mart and Jiffy Lube.
I was in Bastrop waiting for an appointment and i needed my car inspected. I usually have a place I go but I wasn’t anywhere near there so I decided to try Lost Pines. I got there and even though they were getting busy they still took time to look over my car properly. Not only did I get an inspection, they also informed me that my power steering fluid was low and my cabin air filter was DISGUSTING (he came and got me to show me)! I was grateful for that! Amanda at the front desk was nice and knew her stuff! She politely conversed with all the customers and was nice to my children when they asked where the bathroom was! She even explained the charges to me without asking! Overall a great experience inside and out!
My car was a filthy mess and I needed a fast thorough clean. I called up and spoke to Claudette she was really nice and told me to bring it in! I was greeted by Rachel and explained to her my situation. Rachel was extremely helpful and professional and told me in confidence she would do her best work- and boy did she! The car cleaning totally exceeded my expectations! My car looks brand new they did an AMAZING job and Im so impressed. Will definitely be back.
I had the full service truck wash done.Did a good job on outside, but kinda disappointed on the inside. They missed large spots on the dash, doors also around my cup holders. I also have rubber weather tech floor mats and was told they clean them also, but looked half vacuumed.Unfortunately I dont think I would recommend them for the full service, but if you want the outside cleaned up nice they do a good job.
This establishment is great!!! Since moving from Nevada, I was looking for an oil change company with good prices and service. Im so glad live close to Lost Pines!! They helped me with info to get my car registered in TX and have great pricing for their services.I would recommend everyone check them out!!!
Paid for the 26 dollar wash deal. However, my car still had leftover food crumbs in the driver seat and floor. My cup holders and dash was not cleaned or wiped. This was not the best service for my first time arriving at this business. Only gave two stars because my exterior was cleaned.
Just purchased a used 2017 Dodge 2500 and took in for them to detail, shampoo the interior , and wash and wax. The person outside told me it would be $300. He dropped the price to $250. This was on May first, after lunch and left it with them. I got the call about 4pm that it was ready. At first glance it looked good, I was in a rush to get back home, so I paid them and left. I looked at it the next day and noticed they missed shampooing around the middle console and under the front seats, there was still dust in a panel on the dashboard. My son and i were installing a new hitch in the bed and the underside of the truck and fenders hadn’t even been washed. For $250 I guess I expected too much , will not be going back.
My cars windshield got chipped by a large pebble recently. I was worrying about having to replace the entire windshield and spending a lot of $$. However, I was told by Kollin there is an option to repair the chips instead. Im glad I went for that instead, as this place did an excellent job with the chip repairs. They were very helpful. It is barely noticable now, and I feel better knowing the windshield will last much longer now. Ill come back for sure. Thanks!
I needed the cigarette smell out of my truck. They not only did that but they went over and beyond and the best of it my truck smells clean and the air is not stale, heavy, or musty. They didn’t just put perfume on it which is what 3 places in Round Rock said they would do, and at a great price! Thank you Lost Pine Car Wash.
I used Lost Pines Carwash for an oil change and state inspection. However, I also ended up getting very good information on the specific needs of my car & how to protect it. Colin was helpful, informative and they were very prompt, even on a busy day. This is a very professional business and it’s always great to support a local biz.
The staff was nice and it didnt take long to get in and out .In the waiting room they had something scented burning and I couldnt breath in there. I had to set outside in the 90+ heat in the sun. No shaded area to set in.I think next year I will get my inspection elsewhere.
I have 4 cars. On my first attempt for car inspection I agree to replace the wipers....guess what $45 with tax plus inspection. One month later (2nd car) I make sure my wipers are ok...guess what.. car inspection fail because of wipers again....i think these guys are failing cars because wipers, I think time for look another place. Keep eye on it!!!!.....other than that, Good service
We were on a little road trip and low and behold the oil change light came on. It’s the day after Christmas and lost pines came through. They were able to get us right in and service our vehicle. They had us back on the road to Fredericksburg within 20mins. Technician was very friendly, professional and gave a quick run down of something’s he found. Not to mention giving us a little refund for the car wash we would prob never use since we live 2+hrs away. Thanks again Lost Pines for hooking us up.
This was the first but certainly not my last visit the Lost Pines car wash. They also offer a list of other services including oil changes, and state inspections on Saturday which was what originally had brought me in there. It is a family-owned business that supports our veterans. Great service from all of the employees there, and extremely knowledgeable about their services! I am considering becoming a regular customer! Thanks
Even though it is slow, (I spent over 2 hours there getting an oil change and a full service car wash), I personally witnessed multiple instances of excellent customer service. One guy was getting an oil change and there was some mix up about what he wanted to get done and he had to wait a very long time, I overheard the mechanic personally apologize and offer a discounted price as compensation. Furthermore, the old woman many seem to be complaining about was very polite and even comped two snacks and drinks for my small boys when we were paying. Speaking of whom, they even have a tub of toys to play with for kids. Ive been here multiple times and am always satisfied with their shop work, inspection services, and cleaning and detailing. It does take a while, but thats been my experience at any automotive shop or full service car wash. Theres complimentary coffee, a water fountain, TV, things to keep kids occupied, snacks for sale (even a delicious food truck outside), plenty of seating inside and outside, and Ive never personally experienced poor service. Im also impressed with their respectful responsiveness to bad reviews.
Brought in my dads new 2018 chevy for its first oil change. The staff was superb! They did not have a tiny part to complete the oil change. Let me know right away. We came back the following day and the service was complete. The staff takes the time to make sure the warranty will stay in place. I am a disabled Veteran. I can see the military pride in there work! Thank you for a job well done!
I went for an oil change, and of course was offered other services as well. It was a delightful surprise when Ronnie told me what I did NOT need when I asked about something, and he made me feel appreciated and respected as a customer by fully explaining what he was recommending and how it would benefit my Jeep. I already have a great mechanic for repairs, and I’m so happy to now have such trust in Ronnie for maintenance. THANK YOU!!!
07/13/2020On April 21st I took my car to Lost Pines for an oil change. During that I felt sick so I told the attendant I was going to get something to drink from Walgreens next door. He asked that I buy him a whiskey and then stated he was joking. I went to Walgreens and purchased two kind bars and some tea. I was gone maybe 20 minutes. When I got back I was told my car was ready. I went to clerk and paid, who said nothing to me about my services. I got in my car and went straight home because I suffer from a chronic illness. My intent was to come back to speak with a manager the next morning. The next morning I drove my car approximately five miles before the oil light came on. I pulled over to a gas station and discovered my vehicle was void of oil. The oil filter had sprayed oil all over the inside of the inside of the radiator and all over the engine. I put more oil in it and took it back home. While parked in the drive way the motor ceased and I was unable to move the car. Shortly after, I became sick and wasnt able to reach out to anyone. When I contacted the operations manager, James M*******, he explained that after market oil filters would cause such damage and stated he would have it tested. When the oil filter test came back he stated that it was the motors fault and that Lost Pines would not claim responsibility. Ive asked for meeting several times with the owner of the establishment have yet to hear from him related to the situation. I sent an email directly to the owner and it was intercepted by James M*******, who tells me that the owner wont be available for a week. I sent an email requesting to speak with him and the owner on Wednesday of July 15th at 4:00pm. He has not confirmed a time for me to speak directly to the owner. I wasnt asked about the oil filter I wanted or the oil. No one spoke to me about my services and I was rushed through. I wasnt treated with any level of respect, all while trying to deal with my illness. The loss Ive suffered includes my income because I was dependent on a car Lost Pines broke. Had Id taken my car to *******, Id still have a car.I keep asking to speak to owner but James keep intercepting my messages. Ive asked on four different occasions.UPDATE 09-24 -2020: Mr. Morrison was told several times that I have no relation to Mr. Snyder. I was NEVER told about any warranty when he was told about the faulty work. Mr. Morrison doesnt seem to know how to listen. Mr. Morrison lied to me about my service, disrespected me further by calling me a liar (who the hell would like about an oil change?), and now completely ignores me even though I keep requesting to speak to the owner of the business. Mr. Morrison continues to ignore the damage that Lost Pines has caused during a global pandemic which effected the entirety of my family. These people are crooks. DO NOT GO HERESIDENOTE: HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT BRET SNYDER IS NOT MY HUSBAND!
Weve been here numerous times for car washes and oil changes and have always been very pleased. We recently treated one of our VERY dirty cars to the Scotts Special--the interior hadnt been cleaned in months and wed neglected the exterior as well. I would have been happy just to have the worst of the much removed, but I was AMAZED at what an incredibly thorough job the guys did. I honestly almost didnt recognize the interior--it looked brand new! There wasnt a spot inside my fairly large SUV that they missed. Im so glad these folks are right down the road!
Going on a trip. Asked them to check the tires and look under the hood. They checked and topped off all the fluids, looked for any signs of wear and tear, and then checked the spare tire, saw that it was low and inflated it just in case. They did all this at no charge. I have been using them for my inspections, oil changes, and basic car maintenance needs for almost three years and have no plans to give my business to anyone else.
Ive tried to get my vehicle inspected at this location twice in less than a month. The receptionist seems like she doesnt want to be there at all. And the supposedly called technitians give priority to other people that get there after you no matter if you there waitting before the place opens, and it takes 4 guys to do an oil change and replace a rear light bulb. I thought this was a first come first serve place. I wont come back unless I find out they have real ASE certified technitians and better front desk receptionist willing to be there for work with a smile on their face and not average Joes.
I have been coming to this business for the past 4 years. I have always been treated with respect, gotten exactly what I asked for, and been alerted when I needed new filters for my car. I trust them and recommend them for any service you need for your vehicle. If you have any issues, they will address them in a kind and professional manner.
Ive loved your place for a couple of years but the cashier at the car wash (old lady) is always very rude and not sure if she has ever been taught any customer service skills. Its not one single incident, its several. Other people have noted this here as well regarding her demeanor and lack of manners. Ill go to the new place just opened and will give you guys a try again when she either retires or stops working there. Hope to see you guys soon.
I am in line, the guy at the front desk helped the man in front of me after listening to him complain about the wait. Then when I get up to the desk he asked how to help me hands me a form and leaves me there waiting for 20 minutes. I finally just left to go somewhere else.
I have lived in Bastrop for a little more than 4 years and have gotten a few oil changes at Lost Pines Full Service. The last time I got an oil change there I was told my cabin filter needed to be replaced and the cost would be $50. Should have said I can do it myself, but didnt.Made the assumption (a bad one) that the cost of the filter was close to $40 and they were going to charge me $10 or so for the service. More or less the exact opposite. Cost of filter was someplace between $10-15 and they charged 35-40 for service. I expect to pay for a service but not that much.Went back for an oil change yesterday and was told the air filter would need to be changed and the cost would be $25. I told the service guy that they had lost the right to make money on the extra service because they screwed me last time. The service guy next to me scoffed because he thought I didnt want to pay for a service and said I called them crooks. Wrong - I dont want to overpay for a service. Actually $10 over retail is kinda reasonable to me. Guessing maybe $15 over cost.Went down the street to AutoZone bought the filter for $15 and they offered to replace the air filter. I appreciated the offer, but declined. They also supposedly offer a free basic car wash with an oil change. I have never been offered one. The last 2 times my air pressure light has been on when leaving here. Checked the air pressure this morning and the pressure in the tires was uneven enough to trigger the low air pressure light. And last - my wife bought me a gift card here a couple of years ago when I couldnt go here for oil changes - had a car with a hard to find oil filter and had to go to the dealership. Tried to use and they had switched systems and not kept track of old cards with balances. Was offered $25, but the card originally had $100 on it.Never again
Usually a friendly place I go to get my oil changed. My car is being serviced and I need the records from every place I took my car. When I went in and asked for my records, I was yelled at, saying how it wasnt his responsibility or job to print out my 5 receipts. I was so upset to be met with this response in such a tone, Especially since they are in the service industry. I did my best to maintain my cool and explain my situation. I ended up getting my records after another man, who has worked on my car many time before, stood over his shoulder and listened to me as well. Usually great service, just need a new receptionist. I Probably wont be going here anymore as I do not want to see this scrooge again. Thanks for reading.
Always get awesome service anytime i go here for an oil change && they have great prices. They even offer early bird special which really helps out when you need to save all the money you possibly can! I also love that you can get your car washed && detailed here. I usually do the $60 clean, which can be a little pricey, but they really get in there and clean every little part of your car
It was my 1st time there....I went in to get a car wash, vacuum, wiping the interior windows, seats, and dash. When I got into the car it had only been partially vacuumed as I found food still there from my toddler under the seats and rug, there was still a bag of garbage on the front seat that they didnt bother throwing out, they didnt bother wiping the seats down (there was food and dried milk still present), the dash had not been wiped down ( i know for a fact b/c I had my car inspected somewhere else and there were bits of the old sticker on the dash still), the windows were half done, and the exterior had spotting from the wash. I could have done a better job if I had done it myself and it would have been cheaper. Needless to say I will never be back and I will not be suggesting to anyone to go there. I wish I had read the reviews because if I had...I would have never given them my business. They would have had a regular customer if they had actually cleaned my car. Your loss!
Really disappointing service. I paid full price for a less than complete car wash. I need to ask for the hatch back area to be vacuumed out. I had to ask for the dripping water on all 4 sides of the car to be wiped. I had to asked for the residue on all 4 sides of the car to be wiped. Even though I pointed the area out, when I arrived home I saw in better light that their attendants did not clean around around the vehicle labeling. On top of this I had to wait 45+ minutes for my car wash. I thought I would tryout my local business, but based on this experience I will be difficult for me to spend my hard earned more on this service when other better options exist else where.
Ive been using Lost Pines Car Wash for quite a few years now, on all my vehicles (from a compact SUV to a mid-size to a full- size SUV). Ive never been disappointed. They were thorough, efficient and friendly. Never additional costs. The only extended wait time was when there were 4 or 5 cars ahead of me. Even when I had a chip in my windshield repaired, the wait was minimal. So glad theres a place like this in Bastrop!
After a frustrating experience across the highway at Main Lane, we decided to try Lost Pines. We were promptly greeted by a very friendly employee who directed us immediately to a bay. One of the techs explained our service options and took our car right in. We received the same service and price offered at Main Lane, except we received a complimentary car wash and the customer service was outstanding. Additionally, they repaired two rock chips in my windshield for a very reasonable price with a life time guarantee and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Took my car in for an oil change & luckily their technician took the time to not only notice a screw in a tire, but made sure i knew about it. This gave me the chance to get it fixed before I was changing a flat on the road. So nice to know Lost Pines cares about their customers and lets them know about any issues they see. Thank you you taking pride in your work & caring for your community! This is why I will always return!
This review is for the car wash. I got my car washed there today and paid for the $26 car wash and included a $5 tip before they were done with my car. The package was at least supposed to include the cleaning of all four rims and wipe down the interior. It was a busy Saturday and they only had 3-4 people working the area after the car comes out of the wash around 1:00. When they were done with my car I drove off and didn’t walk around to look at it because I waited for over an hour. They did not wipe down the dashboard, cup holders and console because there was still dust and dirt all over it. Two rims were not cleaned at all, there was still some bug guts on the front bumper and a huge area of my hood hadn’t been wiped down because there was still dirt on it. The door frames were not wiped down either. I’m 9 months pregnant, I’m due next week and do not want to wash my car myself. When I got home I cleaned everything the Bastrop Lost Pines employees missed. I won’t take my car here again. It’s disappointing too because there’s a couple of signs there stating “Veteran Owned.” I’m a veteran too and veterans are usually known for excellent execution and attention to detail, however Bastrop Lost Pines car wash lacks those qualities.
Best place in Bastrop for an oil change and routine maintenance. Very nice and conscientious staff. They take pride in their work and have always done a good job for me. I’ve been to most every similar business in town over the years and Lost Pines is the only one that I trust with my vehicle.
Ive been taking my trucks here past few years for a carwash and the service was not that good. But I took it today and expressed my concerns with the new GM Foster. He said that he got new people and equipment and that the service done to each vehicle would make a difference. So I put him up to the test. I brought both my vehicles and they did a GREAT JOB on both of them. The staff took there time to vacume, clean, wash, and dry my vehicles. Most important there special at $12.99 will not break the bank. See u all next week.
First time I went I got the $9.95 special (+ $2.00 because I have an SUV), which is an outside wash, tires, and vacuum. The middle of some of my carpets still had stuff on them.........they didnt go out of their way to do a good job. The next time I went, I got the $29.95 special, +$2.00 for my SUV. They didnt even get the bugs off the front of my hood. Half of my rear bumper got wiped off, while the other half was still dirty. When I asked the manager some questions, he was talking so fast, I couldnt understand him.........it was like he was on speed. Plus he walked away like I was a bother, instead of seeing if I was satisfied with his answer or had any other questions. I decided to call the Toyota dealership to see what they charged. They charge $29.95 for everything this place did PLUS a bunch MORE!! Plus they dont charge an extra $2.00 for my small SUV. I guess Ill be going there next time!!
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I took my bosses truck here and paid for a SUV DETAIL. they told me it was done and I got in the car, I looked inside and to my horror it was clearly not detailed AT ALL on the inside, so I turned around and went back thinking it was an oversight ~ brought my receipt to the old lady and she brought the guys to the car. he argued with me and said he would re-vacuum. the car still had pieces of food on the seat and floor (very little but enough to need a vacuum) as well as dog slobber on the leather seats. nothing was done even after the second time I asked. the dog was in the car ONE time for no longer than 30 minutes. it really wasnt that dirty but it was needing a once over and a vacuum. it was my bosses car! I had to make sure it was clean after he paid so much for a DETAIL!! I NEVER have been treated so badly in my life!! I had to use my own money and go buy car wipes and drive over to the car wash. I had to vacuum the SUV myself and wipe it all down myself after I paid for a DETAIL and extra because it was a SUV!! Horrible customer service and refused to let me speak to a manager/owner and refused a refund!!! Horrible people and service!!
My back floor boards were supposed to be vacuumed and it looked like they barely touched it. The lady inside was so nice and told me to bring it back through. The 3 workers who came up to me(at different times) almost seemed offended that I expected it to be vacuumed. Also, the floor mats in front had not been touched. I was able to shake a ton of dirt out of it. After the second round, it was obvious they just pulled it around to make it seem like they had vacuumed it again, because the back floor boards still looked the same. I didnt bother trying again. I just took it to a car wash and vacuumed it myself. Im really not sure how it was so difficult to vacuum a floor board. I mean, THAT is your job!! Cleaning cars!! I was very disappointed.
I really hate leaving bad reviews for any business but this place deserves it. Ive taken my vehicles here for many years. Never receiving great or even good results when Ive gone, I still continued to go because I try to be loyal to local small or family owned businesses. That has come to an end with this place. Like many people, my husband and I work very hard for our money. To have to spend $30+ on something that is nothing close to a car wash/cleaning is ridiculous. The last time I went here, I needed my vehicle cleaned before a last minute trip that I was taking that same morning. I was in a bit of a hurry so rather than going to to it myself, I took my vehicle here. There were only about 3 or 4 vehicles in front of me. Somehow, it took them 1.5 hours to get my vehicle into the wash. When it was finished, it looked nearly the same as before it went in. There were dirt streaks all over the outside and the inside hadnt even been vacuumed. My windows were dirtier than before I went in! I could hardly see out of my windows. I dont know if they were using dirty rags or if it was just pure laziness? I complained to the older lady at the front desk and she was extremely rude and told me well if you are sooo unhappy I guess we can do it again, but you are gonna have to wait because we have other people in front of you. I was so turned off by her bad attitude and demeanor that I told her no thank you and expressed how I would never go back there again. Her response was OK! with a big smile on her face. Ive never ever known of a business who treats their customers like this and take pride in doing so. Needless to say, theyve forever lost customers in my husband and I for good. And from the looks of SO MANY other reviews online, their treatment of customers, lack of customer service, bad work ethic, and terrible business practices are nothing new to this place! Go elsewhere to spend your hard earned money. This place doesnt deserve it or you as their customer.
Took the car in for an oil change and a full service wash. Right before we pulled the car into the bay they hollered out full service and tagged the window with the service we were wanting. We left the car and came back an hour later to pick it up. We pulled up next to the car and I saw that the wheels and tires were pretty dirty on driver side. We were assured that they would take care of the wheels and tires prior to leaving. We went to the office to pay and was greeted by What we thought was going’s to be a sweet lady. When I mentioned the tires we not “armour alled” she got very defensive and sated “we don’t even use armour all here”. I understand it’s not “ armour all” but, a tire shine or dressing. I tried to explain to her that we asked for Full Service and an oil change. She cut me off and stated that I only got the basic and the guys do a great job, you will like it”. Well, I already looked prior to coming in to the office to pay and I was not happy. I understand that I was only charged for a basic but, I asked for a Full Service Wash. Granny Franny didn’t care to hear my concerned and was rude about it. I held my tongue because I didn’t want to disrespect my elder, other wise I would have been more vocal. I guess a customer is not valued at this establishment. You get what they give you whether you ask for it or not. The guys wrote it on the wind shield and still couldn’t get it right. They did manage to do two tires with some kind of tire shine. Will not be returning
I went and got the 19.95 special as my car came out the license plate got yanked out. When they pulled it around I noticed my car was still very dirty. I told the attendant that this was unacceptable that I could do a better job myself. He looked agitated as I asked for a supervisor. When the supervisor came and looked at my car he started to point out the way my car looked to the attendant and he looked at the supervisor with disgust. The supervisor stated he would fix my license plate and redo it with an upgraded wash, well when my car came out it was still very dirty. The attendant stated that this is a recurring problem with most vehicles. I walked next door to advance auto parts got my own car wash stuff and did it myself.
I took one car in on Saturday. $40 full service. It looked like they wiped down my interior with a dry rag and the vacuuming was not good either. I was disappointed when leaving. Today made the mistake of taking the second car there. $40 more and the same results. Spoke to the person who greets and writes the tickets and he had someone redo area. Looked the same to me. Some areas never touched at all. This is probably the 10th time there and cant remember a positive experience . I need to find a real carwash.
I went there today for the first time and to be honest i was sadly disappointed. I work construction and my truck has sand in the cup holders etc. There car wash doesnt do a good job of getting simple dirt off the vehicle and my truck had dirty spots every where and the sand was still in my cup holders when i left. The staff was nice but the attention to basic details were lacking.
They will extort you during inspections. Avoid this place at all cost. 2 weeks ago I brought my 92 F-150 here for inspection and was told it wouldnt pass because a brake light on my cab was out. Well it was a cargo light not a brake light and didnt need to be fixed. Before leaving I ask So there is nothing else it needs?, No windshield wipers or anything? I was told no. Fast forward 2 weeks and guess who needs windshield wipers to pass inspection. Again go anywhere else in Bastrop
This is not the first time I have been here. I have been half a dozen times. The first few times were ok, but the last 3 times just terrible. I keep wanting to like them because they are convenient. I will not be returning. You are honestly better off going across the street to the HEB drive through wash. I had to send my vehicle back through three times and it was STILL dirty. I get it, bug guts and bird poo arent exactly easy to wash off, but the DO come off and to pay for a service like this I shouldnt have to point out the numerous spots missed on the grill, air damn and backs of the rear view mirrors. The windshield looked like they used an oily rag to clean it. Never again.
I tried 3 times in one week to get an inspection. First time was a 2 hour wait. Second time I called from neighboring business. Told too busy but they were empty. 3rd time I called ahead, told they take inspections until 5. At 4:30 I show up and a shop employee tells me they are closed. Went insi!e to talk to person I called. She went to shop and came back, apologized and said come back at 8am. I left, went to business across hwy 71 and received great service.
Unbelievably, mediocre! I was told when I asked for the top service for $59.99, that it would be $20.00 more for my truck. My husband really wanted my truck cleaned because he bought me WeatherTech mats for my new truck. It was not really dirty, so only needed some vacuuming and some clean8ng of the windows and dash.So I had the truck after waiting for over two hours. The change area was not cleaned and the back of the truck had spilled areas on the walls and dirty footprints all over the back. I have photos of it all, but it seems I can’t download those to this review. It cost me $80.00, plus a tip,Don’t waste your money!
I really appreciated their willingness to work with my requests and time constraint. They have a lovely lobby filled with snacks, Christian gifts, kitchen gifts, as well as various types of cards for purchase. The detail job I got was ALMOST as meticulous as I would like - a 4.3 out of 5.
I’ve come here a couple of times, but today will definitely be my last. As I was walking in, there was a line to pay so I started to walk towards the bathroom. The woman at the front desk immediately yelled “NO” at me as if I was a dog without any explanation. The waiting area was full of customers so she rudely embarrassed me and never offered an apology or explanation. In the 1.5 hours that I waited for my car to be finished, I found out that the bathroom was flooded and that’s why I couldn’t go back there. Instead of letting customers know ahead of time, she rudely yelled at anyone who even walked toward that direction. There were much better ways to handle this situation but this woman was absolutely terrible. It’s a shame because they do a great job cleaning cars, but she has tarnished the entire establishment with her attitude and disrespect for customers.
Absolutely sub par cleaning, never again will i come here. Had to return truck just so the could actually clean it again . We went back and forth and with another two interior inspections , I quit, it was still not clean. With 4 of their staff members trying.Oh yes, I had hay chaff and some rock debris in the bed of my pick up and non of it was cleaned out , they put my truck went through their washing system with all that debris in it , and whoever else cars that followed , I am sure got something out of my truck on to theirs. So after 3 attempts for them to clean the interior ... it was still was an Epic failure and there was still dirt and debris in my back seat on the floors , under the seats .I had to take my truck to another car wash because they refuse to clean a bed of a pick up truck that isnt part of the cleaning they offer .i and spent another hour cleaning the inside of my truck. Seriously, lazy sub par , work , for over priced fees couldve got the same was at a drive through thingy .This fine cleaning job cost about 40 dollarsOh wait ,there is more , When I initially, went in I was not in a pleasant mood i took a deep breath, I explained to the front desk I needs to speak to the owner or manager , she said I Quote no need to be upset it is just a car wash Yes, youre right it is just a car wash that cost about 40 dollar , of hard earned money, for some people who earn min wag ( not me ) but that would be 6 hours of their work after taxes . BUT IT IS JUST A CAR WASH! Oh yeah lets also not forget about my personal time to resolve this matter took 4.5 hours , that my family didnt get to spend with me. it is just a car wash Let me clue you in, have someone else wash your car in not a necessity, it is a luxury service .And the last Ta da ! of this entire fiasco!!!!!Your Manager ,while supervising the crappy re cleaning of my car, brings me over a tiny square of cigarette box top about the size of a dime, and says i thought you might need this.Son, you got me on stupid ! You must have some Jesus up there at that car wash, because the fact I didnt throat punch him, was in fact a miracle.
Between the older lady at the counter at the car wash that is VERY RUDE and always ask if you want to put a tip on your card ( why would anyone want to tip before services are completed)and the kid that’s doing inspections that moves slow as mold growing on bread and loves to talk to other employees. The owner should close the place and hire new people. They have gotten my last dollar
Tried this place at least three times, talked with manager once.. car wash is terrible. Leaves spots of dirt... grime... does not rinse soap off, they are showed these problems, they act like they are going to fix it, they end up wearing you down, had to go home, wash the vehicle myself. Aggrivating waste of time and money! Beware! Stay away! I will make sure to tell all my friends and acquaintances about this place.
This place is awesome. I cant say enough good things. Many different car wash packages available. You pull in and an attendant takes your order. You give them your car keys and they give you a ticket. Wait inside while your car is being washed and detailed. There are toys for the children to play with, charming antiques to look at and/or buy. Drinks and /or coffee available for purchase. The woman behind the counter takes the ticket and you pay for your service and she is always friendly. There is a small TV on to watch. There is also a seating area outside. The car always comes back clean. The workers are also very friendly.Free Wifi
My husband was just there. Hed had been waiting for more than 2 hours. Theyre was 5 people infront of him when he first arrived 3/5 left due to them taking such a long time. He sat there and waiting some more as he waited he was writing a review over the place, not being a good one. They finally got to take a look at his vehicle when the owner came out mad and kicked him out and refused to finish the job. I was not there but i surely wont ever go! Worst SERVICE! My husband left to a dif location and was taken a look at no more than 20 mins. The ppl at the other location mentioned theres always cops at the lost pines that it hasnt been the first time the owner kicks people out!
I had my Prius detailed after it rained for a few daysSo I opened my doors to let it dry out, when I went to start it the dash lights went crazySo I called the GM and I just knew I was going to hear ‘it’s not our fault’But no he was very apologetic and gave me some things to do witch did not work. He then asked me to take it to Toyota he was going to take care of the bill. I decided to call Toyota and ask them some questions and they were very helpful. Turns out my Auxiliary battery was weak when they get weak the dash lights go bonkers. You have to love a company that takes responsibility if they make a mistake (witch they did not) Thank you LostPines Carwash!!
We took in two trucks to be cleaned. Cost for both was just under $100. When I asked them to wipe down the outside edge of the truck seats and the door Jamb in the cab, it was explained that they didn’t do that, it would cost extra. They told me that the door jamb was my step (not the step outside of my cab that I step on to get in my vehicle). Who knew???
Ive been here twice. The first time I came I just asked for a vacuum and a wipe down of the 2 back windows, I made it easy, they didnt even have to fully clean it....they barely vacuumed the back seat and didnt bother to touch the windows. I tried giving them another try and the 2nd time was worse. I pulled up and 1 employee stood against the wall on their phone and the other 2 were talking to each other and didnt even bother to help me. No one moved a muscle til I asked for help. When I got my car back there was dirt and sand on my passenger seat, how did I go to a car wash and get my car back with MORE dirt?? They didnt even have to vacuum my car this time because my car was pretty clean, I just wanted the back windows to be wiped... they were not even touched of course. The employees here are incredibly lazy, I wont waste my time coming back. They have low ratings for a reason people! Gah!
I have been a customer of the Lost Pines Oil & Lube since they opened. Regretfully, I will no longer be able to use them. A few days after going in for an oil change on our truck my husband did a front brake job. Upon pulling the tires and starting to remove the brakes he found the boots to our tie rod ends rotted out. He checked the lube points and found them blocked with dirt and debris. It appears that the vehicle has never been lubed by them (they are the only ones who have changed the oil in all our vehicles since they opened in Bastrop). He stopped by and asked about their lube policy and was told by an assistant manager that he didnt know if they lubed vehicles or not. Note the name is Lost Pines full service car wash and oil & lube. When my husband finally received a call from the same gentleman he was told that people are picky about the type of grease that is used so they only lube vehicles upon request. I had been noticing that customer service has not been as good here lately, its like they want you out as soon as possible so they can get more vehicles through. Upselling has also been on the rise, specifically with windshield wipers at inspections. I hate to part ways with this business- the specialist that would normally change my oil was always thorough and informative- But we can not afford to have things like lubrication ignored. Especially when it is expected from an oil & lube business.
The NEW package prices are outrageous! I was very shocked when the price was $35 dollars oh and do not forget to add the $2 SUV/Truck charge. Then for $37 dollars I would expect that my windows are not smeared, dirt still visible on mirrors, bumpers, etc. Lets just say so much for what I thought was going to be a quick convenient car wash.....Im done.
The guy at the window is standing there looking at my truck and gives me a price and then comes back with a different price saying oh that was just the starting price when you are standing there quoting someone a price you give them a price to get the job done don’t come back and keep on raising the price you’ll need to get better managers and quality employees there. Take your vehicles to Austin you can get a yearly membership for $450 a year and have your vehicle done as many times as you want.
BAD CAR WASH!! If you have a Ford Escape, DO NOT GO! They say that the seals on the front passenger door are known to leak. I got my car back and the passenger seat, door and floor were soaked, floor had standing water. they were just going to let me drive away like that. He blamed it on them having a high power wash. I go through car washes like that all the time in College Station and have never had that happen before. They also bend the antenna back and place it in the door, which he said may cause some dripping. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!! The owner called and said this is a common thing that happens and blame it on the car. Excuse after Excuse.. I could have also done a better job myself of washing it and cleaning the inside. The owner called and joked saying at least I got a free seat wash, REALLY! This is not funny to have it happen to someones car. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!! They also take forever, sat there for an hour and a half.-on the bright side, the lady at the register was really nice! (only good thing about the place)
These guys are honest, quick and thorough. Let them know exactly what you want and they will get it done right every time. They do like to upsell but if you say no thanks about a product they offer they are super nice about it and just go on their way and fix your car the way you want.
Unbelievably rude. Not just to me, but to everyone there who wasnt the skinny hot mom. I checked in on got some water and a magazine for the very frail, elderly man in the lobby. When they finally got around to my car, they did a terrible job. I also got an oil change, but they put in way too much oil, and I had to pay to get it drained and repaired. Horrible place. Dont ever go here.
Went to get my car inspected and on my receipt they had correct car information and on inspection paper they gave me for passing vehicle they put a total different car and this is not the first time I have had problems with their services. I can say that they have lost a loyal customer due to problems with their service and staff.
After having a bad experience at Jiffy Lube I decided to give this place a try and... it was amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and they will take good care of your car!Was really happy with the service and customer service I received! Will definitely recommend this place!
Unbeliveable how poor the quality of service. Under the seats was not vacuumed, the doors were not cleaned, the gear shift on the floor was not cleaned, there were cigarette packs and pizza boxs under the seat. I called and the woman who answered was beyond rude and told me i couldnt leave negative feedback since my daughter picked up the car and she might have gotten the car that dirty in that short a time period! Do not do business with these people, they will rip you off! I have pictures!!!!!
You know I am one not to quickly criticize or judge, but to a am a stickler for respect and service to your customers. I had the occasion recently to use this establishment and my overall experience was positive.I came in right at closing with a car that I was making ready to sell and in spite of my watching them lock the doors the guys that were there opened back up and took care to do a really good job for me.Well with this in mind I decided to start using them when the need arises. So visit number two; today. I roll in and am greeted by a clean cut professional looking individual who ask me what I am looking to have done. I reply that I wanted a general cleanup of the inside and a full wax job on the out.The guy gives me a nice yes sir and quotes me $100.00 for the wax and what they call a gold package on the inside. All’s good so I agree and I start to walk away and leave it with them.Well here’s where thing got weird, Another guy came over and started to look at my truck on the inside and started obsessing about the amount of work that it was going to take to get the carpet clean and how the sand was a huge problem and then the pet hair etc. etc…Next thing I know he throws an add on to the price of $20.00. Well I’m like if that’s what it takes then OK. But it don’t end there, he then starts telling me how hard it was going to be to get the carpet clean and starts like trying to prepare me for a less than finished job.I told him then that I had condoned the increased cost to cover the extra effort and questioned exactly how much it was going to cost get the job done. By now my confidence in his ability was completely gone as I felt sure of two things, one he did not want to do the job and two he was going to keep going up in price for all he could get away with.Well sure enough $15.00 more was asked and at that I told him thanks but I felt uncomfortable with way things were handled and that I would take my business elsewhere.Sad thing is; his boss most likely has no idea that he has an employ who is handling customers so carelessly and he or she is the one that must ultimately pay the price.Go or NO GO? I say go; but get a manager etc.. if you have the misfortune of having this guy wait on you. I don’t think you will have any problem identifying him.
Took my SC430 Lexus in for detail, it has a power intenna and I had it down when the keys were handed over to attendant but attendant must have turned radio back on because it went through the wash with it up. The rod was bent and would no longer go down. Addressed management , he spoke to the owner and he refused to pay for it being repaired. Im aware of the sign that they are not responsible for intennas but it was handed over with it down and when it came out it was up and damaged. I did my part to protect it and the attendant by leaving it down. Will not be going back and no recommendations. Also noticed all the other 1⭐️Reviews, that should tell the owner something is not being done in a professional way. I noticed much Christian paraphernalia on the wall and shelves , not a good representative of JESUS the way they do business . Charlie Akin
I went yesterday and was told it was 2 hour wait - I get it with all the rain we have had. I left with the plan to be there first thing today. I was indeed the first there as the website said they open at 10 am on Sundays...I was there at 9:45. The door sign said 11 am opening. This should have been a sign for me to just leave and do the wash myself...At 11:30 my car finally entered the bay. The car wash stopped with the foam still on my car. Someone got in and drove it out of the bay and started drying it off. I went to the cashier. She said it would be taken through the washer again. It was another 20 minutes before it went through the wash. It was after noon before I got out of there. I paid $40 for my carwash today. I pulled away with a wet back hatch, windows streaky and as I left, foam ran down the back window as I pulled out of the parking lot. The only good thing about today was the cashier - very sweet lady. Scott needs competition to gets things back to the way they used to be.
Went in for an oil change and car wash .... no one spoke with me about pricing, told me to have a seat and literally stood around my vehicle talking and laughing. Came in and told me it was going to be 90 bucks and couldn’t tell me the brand of oil they put in my car. Didn’t even ask me if I wanted a car wash. Will never come back.
So a little back story before I justify my 1 star review.I bought a brand new 2015 Jeep Renegade for my wife about a week or two ago as her Christmas present. (late I know) - BRAND NEW as in off the lot with absolutely no mileage from Benny Boyd. NEWThat being said,It was dusty from our dirt road leading to our home. I told her to take it into town and get it washed. She did. Brought it to Lost Pines. Mistake #1. She brings it to my job to show me how nice and clean it was. It wasnt as clean as she thought. There were parts of it that were still dirty by the door rails. The mirrors still had her and dust around the edges. THE MIRRORS.... Specifically the driver side mirror, was scratched... And not lightly. I mean it looks like someone dragged a rock or something across the dead center of the mirror. I will try and post an image. There are water spots all over the place.WellI call the car wash (and Im throwing that set of words around where they shouldnt be used) and informed the lady who answered the phone of this and she said shed get the manager. Some kid answers the phone and IMMEDIATELY starts telling me (after I explain what happened and what can be done about it) that if this was true, then the card before her would be scratched in the same exact spot. But they arent because the brushes we use are soft foam brushes. I am telling you verbatim what the OWNER would say. Unless you can prove that it wasnt there BEFORE bringing it in, then... Sorry. OF Course I get upset and tell him that I wasnt planning on having to take before and after images of my BRAND NEW CAR. He keeps on about how that couldnt possibly happen here. I then asked him to give me a number I can call to get a hold of the owners and he says that he doesnt have a number he can give me because the only number he has for the owners is a personal number that he uses when situations like this happen (must happen more often than anywhere else by looking at these reviews.) so he can address them. So of course, he says, well I have an email address I can give you so you can send him your information and he can give you a callI say no because I know how that works. They never call back. Never. So I persist in speaking to the OWNER and he finally caves and says ok well whats your number and name and Ill have him call you. I give him my info and tell him to have him call me within the next 30 mins. This is at 5:45pm on a Friday. It is now Monday and I never received a call. I was going to go up there but Id rather not.I tried to like this place even after seeing the reviews. I did. But as an avid person to help out the little guy and shop locally, H20 will be getting our business from now on for this type of deal. I will make sure to let anyone and everyone i know to not use this carwash.. If you can call it that. And dont even get me started on my 2012 Jeep Wrangled Sport that I paid $40 to get washed there and had to redo it at my house.Im still waiting on that phone call that will never come.
This was the worst customer service and car wash. They locked somebodys keys in their car so my car wash took over an hour. My car was not clean when they gave it to me but I had to go since I was late getting back to work. I will not be back, I should of read reviews first.
Sadly if I could rate no stars I would. Sat for over an hour and a half to be told it was taking so long because my car is a disaster and full of dog hair. Thats laughable considering my dog doesnt get in my car. Poor customer service. Very disappointed. I really wanted this place to be great.
This place is a total joke!! For what they charge verse what I normally pay up in lakeway they are higher !! Their service is horrible!! I paid for them to wipe down the inside vacuum wash!! Well to say the least I got less than half of that if any!!! I had been told that they had changed management so I thought ok lets give them a try again!! No difference than the first time Id used them !!! Horrible!!
Waited an hour and forty minutes for an inspection. No one told me it would be this long of a wait and I watched people who come after me leave before me. The attendant said he had an inspector call in sick, but in that case I think you should warn people how long the wait will be and make sure theyre served in the order they arrived.
Very slow and rude inspections. Apparently we can do it now really means they might get started in ten minutes, might be done in a half hour. Four guys working but only one bay occupied at a time. For being veteran owned, the employees lack any sense of urgency or respect. AVOID!
I went to this place on April 28, was my first time there so I parked behind another costumer on the Left lane (2 costumers, one on each lane) as the attendant was taking care of him, no one on the right lane, I waited for like 3-5 minutes then another costumer parked next to me on the right behind the car with no costumer in the vehicle, so I waited for my turn then the attendant completely ignored me and went to the new costumer on the right, probably less than a minute since he parked there and the attendant looked at me like saying you can wait more once I go to a place for a service, any service, and if is good I tend to come back but when I get this type of service, getting Ignored is no business for me there, I think that was totally disrespectful, I thought was a good place but if you as a costumer doesnt mind to get that type of attention go there, other than that dont go, that was a really bad experience.
Went to go get a car wash paid more than $30 got the car back and looked like a 5 yr old cleaned it , interior didnt even get clean and the outside looked like they just dragged a wet rag across it didnt even vacuumed my car and to top it off I had 2 gold eagle medallions in my console and when I went to grab them they were missing I went back and made a report to the manager and he said he would check the cameras and give me a call , 3 days passed by didnt receive a call so I called more then 5 times and the lady in the front desk would answer and said he wasnt there every time I called, they should have a zero rating star bad business not worth it at all
I think one star is too much for this place, i went to this place for an inspection on my car i have been here many times, and it has always been great, no problems, also i do understand that sometimes you do have to wait, but to be one of the first people there and be the last to leave because there were no other customers is just disappointment:130 min i think was too long for an inspection, when i got there there were 3 customers i was told that i should be next, those 3 people left, 5 more came in, and left i was still there, and according to the manager JAMES who said was so disrespectful to the customers, i honestly dont know who because when he started yelling at me for no reason, there werent any just his employees and according to him i was rude argumentative i was not disrespectful to anybody especially customers because there werent any, i would not recommend this place at all, my husband and I had been there for car washed and they are bad worst place ever,, if you want a place that treats you like a customer with dignity and respect, i would recommend going somewhere else, and as for the manager he need some customer service classes because he obviously doesnt know what customer service is or mean, is so sad that this place is a local business if the manager wasnt there this place would be great, the rest of the staff was very nice.

2022-04-27I was one of two vehicles when I got there. I ordered the interior and exterior which came to be $32. It took them one hour to wash, vacuum, and wipe down my truck. They use the same towels to wipe down the vehicle as they do to wash the windows. Which results in smeared windows. It should not take five people one hour to complete this task. The ladies inside were friendly, but the staff outside had little personality or customer service skills. I want to support local small businesses, but the workmanship does not match the price. I can go across the street for $12 and do it myself in less than an hour. Plus have it done right with clean towels and air fresheners.

2022-07-13Ive enjoyed coming to Lost Pines Automotive for the past 4 years for my 3 vehicles inspections And oil changes. The staff have always been very polite and helpful! They look out for your vehicle needs and make sure you are aware of what maintenance is soon needed. I appreciate these folks.

2021-10-18I have in the past received good service: however, this last visit after about 6 months things have changed. And not for the good. They sport a sign with a change in rates. $6.00 Wash. I said I wanted the wash but wanted to add a vacuum. The price jumped from $6.00 to $26.00 for adding a vacuum for a small SUV. The receipt said Interior Cleaning $20.00. The floor mats were not moved, the dash was not completely dusted, the cup holders in the console were nit wiped out and OMG the windows all around were smeared. See the attached pic. That is just the front windshield. The mirrors were smeared as well. The smearing was not even smeared consistently. It was hit or miss.If there was a negative rating I would have chose that instead of the 1 star. I would not recommend Lost Pines Full Service.

2022-07-19Wanted a detail done on my car. Stopped here and booked it. Really didn’t know where else to go. The final result was ok but all in all it was very expensive despite my veterans discount and should have been terrific. My radio was played as my touch settings were messed up. The car was supposed to be buffed out to remove most scratches. I was told they had a special procedure they follow for buffing scratches. One scratch was poorly covered and actually looked worse and there were still some bug stains and rock nicks on the nose that I thought could have been handled better so four stars. Maybe I expected too much. I was a custom furniture guy with an eye for detail. Can’t help it. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will have my car detailed again at some point but most likely elsewhere. Education is a process.

2022-06-20Over price and under serve. Charge $100+ for an oil change for which you can get the supplies from Amazon for $40 and do yourself. They also tell you you get a free car wash but if your car is clean the day you bring it in for the oil change and you want to use on another day you most likely will not be able to. There are much better options in the community for both car washing and oil change that my one experience here was most likely also my last.

2022-02-05The pricing is a little wacky. There is a charge of $20 added to any package you select if you want the inside of your vehicle vacuumed and cleaned. I can understand why if Im driving a massive pickup truck and Ive been off roading. But for the average, ordinary everyday driving, a vacuuming and interior quick clean should be included. Anyway I paid for it as part of a $31 package. Found out at the end that it didnt include tire dressing. Go figure.

2022-06-27An empty van was taken for cleaning and we were charged $600+ for this service. $100 an hour seems extremely steep. Our company does not recommend taking your company vehicles here. They will not be receiving our services of 30+ vehicles again.

2022-03-14Albeit the atmosphere is far from the super techy world we live in, this business offers something much more warm. Professional and warm welcomes from the first guy to the last! And the homemade offerings in the shop that are available while waiting add that hometown country charm. Love this place!

2021-06-12They cleaned the car and did a great job. some one fixed my windshield for a really great price I will be back. I went there at 8 am. The line tells me They do a good job. You can wait outside or inside the cashier was a big help. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to a full service car was.
