Looking for risers for reclining chair. None available except those 7rs. Tried to buy wood and have it cut in 4 pieces with groove for foot of recliner and was told cant do that.Usually good experience, but not this time! Note: Guy who was helping me was very attentive and tried to help me find the right thing, but then a woman stepped in and took over and told me I couldnt have wooden cut when if cutter was working. Disappointed with her negative responses. There should be a way for a Home Improvement store to help a single woman, who has no tools, get a board cut! Thank you!
I had an order scheduled for a thursday afternoon. Thursday morning I got a notification that the delivery date had been switched to monday. When I called back I was told they could probably ship it the next day (friday) and that theyd call at 8 to let me know. I called at 9 (because I hadnt been called) and was told that it would be delivered. At 5pm I called again and was told it would still be delivered. At 7pm I called again and after about ~45 minutes on hold I was able to get ahold of a manager that couldnt care less. His stance was basically well thats too bad. I was told the only way to transfer my delivery order to a pickup order would be to go into the store and just buy the stuff myself. When I asked if they were interested in keeping my business I was told no. The experience was so bad it seems like theyre intentionally trying to not have people shop here
Understaff location or customer service is not a priority at all. Went to order paint and there were about five employees restocking the paint area and no one wanted to assist me. Stood around for 20 minutes and still didn’t receive any assistance. This took place around 1015 am.
YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE PEOPLE. That is your biggest problem. Your store exceeds the size of walmart yet you have all of 5 employees????? Ive been in restaurants 1/8 of the size with 4 times the employees.. Really think about that.. Just because there are self-pay registers doesnt mean we no longer require assistance.. Not everyone who goes in Lowes is a contractor or a tool genius. I come here to grab things for my husband, so Im like a blind old lady in that maze of metal, wood and tools. Then if you cant find someone to help you, youre stuck searching online. From there you have to find the isle number, the bin number, the letter, etc. Then god forbid there be like 25 of the same item with different features.. Theres the anxiety attack starting up. All Im saying is...A few more employees would really be helpful to us. The ones you have are great, thats why theres still 1 star. But they cannot deal with a 50 customer minimum, in an extremely large hardware store with over 70 ISLES all by themselves...
I was pretty happy with the service in this place. There was plenty of people working, so it was easy to find someone to help compare to Home Depot. Looks like Home Depot runs their stores pretty lean. Lowes is the opposite. Lot of employees to ask for help. Even though I did not find what I need, it was great that I did not have to find someone to help me.
Summary: plenty of parking, helpful staffDetails:This Lowes is never crowded and youll probably never wait in line because of this.I visit regularly and I will say they seem understaffed at the moment because the inventory isnt kept as nice as is has in the past and large boxes often crowd the isles.
I found some great specials, but was charged full price at checkout. The drill bit kit was actually charged $10 more than the lowered price, even higher than the was price listed on the price tag. Make sure to check your receipt, and take photos of the prices, especially for specials, so that you can show the checkout staff. On the other hand, staff were friendly, and helpful on the whole. I found stuff Home Depot doesnt carry, as Lowes seems more consumer, rather than contractor focused.
Bought a washer in store on Dec. 31st since it was a Friday they told me it will be delivered Monday Jan 3rd. Got a reminder call the day before that my washer would get delivered from 4pm-8pm Jan 3rd as promised so I waited and waited and waited nothing no call not text nothing! So I called lowes the next day to let them know my washer never showed up got nothing from them but that someone from delivery would contact me but still nothing so I waited two days but nothing! So I went to the store to cancel! This is terrible service. The lady just told me well due to covid deliveries are delayed okay I get that but at least let me know so I’m not just waiting on something that will never arrive! 😡
Do NOT order from this store! You will loose your money!Made an order for lumber online to be delivered. Delivery never came, and I called the store the next day. The cashier apologized because The Delivery Department never picks up the phone. She directed the call to the manager (Jim Wilsser, according to the cashier), who after 15 minutes of hold, picked up the phone and immediately hung up.So I called back. Waited 15 more minutes and again, the manager immediately hung up on me.So now Im out $500 in lumber and no one will pick up. I call corporate. The support agent apologizes and tries to get into contact with the store directly. The manager hangs up on her as well!Jim Wilsser, if youre reading this, I want my lumber or my money back!
It wasnt a bad experience but there were misplaced items in the Dremel attachments whiched me to have a different price than mentally calculated. The woodworking section was full of items mismatched and misplaced. I needed a caliper for my work and the cheapest one was right at twenty dollars.
Terrible customer service. They never answer or call back. Several issues with delays and selling items we ordered to other customers. Been dealing with appliance installation issues for 3 months. Recommend using another store or location when dealing with appliances.
I recently ordered a washer dryer and refrigerator from this location and the experience was a nightmare. First I gave Lowes a month notice to deliver the products. The day before the gas dryer was to be installed I was called by Texas Home Pros, Lowes vendor and canceled on. The following day when the washer and refrigerator was scheduled for delivery, I had not received a call from the delivery team, so I went to the location. I was told that the products had been delivered. I spoke with the manager on duty Miles and told him to look in the backroom, which he did and saw that they were there, but the delivery truck left for the day. The following weekend Texas Home Pros was a no call no show for the gas dryer delivery. I finally spoke with Jim, the supervisor for appliances who assured me hed see to it my gas dryer was delivered. And after that call me to offer compensation for the time (I will explain how many calls Ive had to place to get anything done with this location in a minute). That week on the evening of the delivery, I was canceled on again. The following morning the installers finally arrived...late. Since then Ive not heard from Jim.Ive called this location over forty times and left on hold or hung up on most of the occasions. Ive been promised return phone calls and got nothing. I am on hold now and have been for an hour. The customer service here is horrible. Now let me tell you about the gas stove I ordered from Costco. I ordered this on a Monday and it was delivered and installed the following Saturday on the day and at the time scheduled.Dont use Lowes. Especially dont use this location.
I would like to highly recommend Sergio Garza at the 5510 S IH 35 78745 location in Austin. He went above and beyond and should be rewarded by your company. He helped us with rugs, shutters, paint, plants, etc. He was super friendly and you could tell he actually cared about us as customers. We would all be lucky to have more employees like him. We almost left and went to Home Depot for our items, but he honestly saved the day for us and for your company.
I love shopping at the location. Even though there is a Home Depot only 1.1 miles from my apartment, I drive the 3.3 miles down I-35 to this location because when I want to purchase a power tool, some supplies for a project, or bulk purchase some A/C filters I know that my questions will be answered by a knowledgeable employee. With an opinion that I can trust, and advice on an expensive Name-Brand tool/piece of equipment that the generic/off-brand comparable model, which is MUCH cheaper, is just as good and sometimes better than the one I saw on TV. I have had a scenario like that happen to me on four separate occasions. Each time with a different employee, whom I had never met before. That experience, that dedication, that helpfulness by this stores workers that wants me as a customer to have a good dependable tool that aids me in my projects and lasts just as long as the more expensive tool. But saves me so much money. All of those reasons are why I absolutely love this store.Thank You! Stassney Ln & I-35 Austin, TX Lowes Home Improvement! :-D
Lied about having item in stock. I drove to Bastrop store because they said they had the item I bought online. Upon arrival, they sent me to south Austin because bastrop didnt have it in stock. 50 miles later Stassney store said they were mistaken. They didnt have it either. Sent me to Brodie store. Digital inventory is incorrect and employees lie when asked if they visually checked for item. Save the hassle. Shop the Depot.
The ONLY reason this Lowe’s gets a 5 start rating is because of their employee Fabian!. That golden haired god helped me find a product that the entire evening crew looked for!. He went above and beyond!. Literally, he looked up and found it!. Thanks dude!. Whomever the manager is, please acknowledge this man!.
Been a longtime customer but after a very bad experience with your curbside delivery dept this morning, I will take my business to the Brodie location. After trying to place an online order this morning, I was given a message my item was not available for purchased online. I called your curbside dept to order directly. The young lady I spoke with was very professional and helpful and asked to put me on hold. A very curt young man came on the line and stated “Before I can complete your order I need to ask you if you have a pro account or a PPL account.” I stated I’m actually on hold for another person that is helping me but no I do not have either type of account. He asked if I planned to pay for my purchase over the phone? I stated yes. He explained to me he would not be able to take my payment over the phone since I did not have one of those accounts and that I needed to download the app for Lowe’s and order online and to have a good day and was about to hang up my call. I explained that I had been able to call into curbside a couple times before and they were able to take my purchase payment over the phone to help me. He began again immediately explaining to me that I would need to download the Lowe’s app to make a payment online and I asked him if he would please stop talking for a minute so I could explain my reason for calling in directly to the store. He stated that the employees were probably just trying to be nice when they allowed me to make my payment over the phone before and that “I deem you as customer to be very rude and uncooperative I am disconnecting this call now” and immediately hung up. I was not in anyway rude or uncooperative. I tried calling back a few times to reach another store associate but I could never get anyone to answer the phone.By way of this review I’m requesting “Pete the store manager” contact me to discuss the incident further.
Update, third deliver, this time a truck showed up without a fridge. The driver had paperwork and no fridge. Makes we wonder if they sold me a product that was not available? All promises and no follow up. At no time did anyone from this store call me and let me know there was a problem with a delivery.Second day in the last week waiting for a fridge to be delivered. They tell me its in store, out for delivery and both times I lean it never left the store. Worst service I have ever received. They have good people working but management is not ensuring the processes are working to help customers. Also employees have no control on the delivery process.
Always clean and well staffed. Never had a bad experience, good customer service. Also I would like to publicly thank them for opening during the freezpocolypse Austin experienced in February. Three days into the minnie ice age they opened their doors to customers. Sure you slid around the parking lot like Disney,s Mr. Toads wild ride, but you could finally get batterys. All joking aside, thank you Lowes. Not only were we in a pandemic but your hired associates displayed a caring and truly corageous act by coming to work during such dangerous and inclement weather conditions. From the bottom of my heart...thank you!
We ordered a dishwasher through Lowes and were told it would take 3-5 business days to arrive to store and within 48 hours wed get a call for installation. That was 3 weeks ago. We called last week and they said they had the product in the store. Yesterday I went to the store to check on the status and they said they didnt have our dishwasher in stock. The assistant manager would not come speak to me because they were in a meeting. The associate took my phone number and said the manager would give me a call by the end of the day. They never called. We called customer service again today and they said not even the distribution center has our product. The associate said theres no way to know when it will be available and its not uncommon to wait 2 months. We went to the store again to see if any dishwashers of the same brand were available. 4 were available at a store across town. We drove across town. They said we could purchase this dishwasher but then retracted the statement saying they were all reserved for customers. At this point we still have no dishwasher despite our efforts to track one down. We will cancel our order and NEVER order an appliance through Lowes again and hope for everyone elses sake that they dont either and save themselves a headache.
DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES! Terrible company, terrible customer service.Almost all of our appliances broke this summer and we decided to purchase replacements on a Lowes credit card. They advertised no interest and 5% discount on all purchases, but it turns out, you have to choose one or the other.EVERY SINGLE PERSON we came into contact with, at both Lowes stores in Austin, were extremely rude and bothered by helping us.One of our appliances was supposed to be delivered 3 months later. We waited 2 months and 28 days before they emailed us to tell us it was going to be an additional 3 weeks. Then, two days before that delivery, they told us it would be an additional 2 weeks. I cancelled the order. I never received a refund so I tried contacting both stores (was hung up on multiple times). Tried contacting the Lowes credit bank, they couldnt help me and told me to call some other number. That number hung up on me every time I selected the option that I needed help with a previous order. I selected the option to place a new order, and guess what! I got through. That woman finally helped, slightly, all while keeping up with the rudeness I had come to expect from this company. Finally, I was asked to complete a survey about my experience and when I chose all zeros (on a scale of 0-10), they asked me to record a message stating why. When I tried to record the message, they told me they didnt recognize the selection and HUNG UP ON ME!I literally hate this company and will do everything in my power to deter anyone from giving them money.
I bought washer and dryer machines in-store to be delivered. Did not received them on the promised day or the day after. Only answer I had by phone was I am going to send an email to delivery. Had to come all the way back to the store for a refund as this guys clearly dont know what they are doing.
I ordered a dishwasher a month ago Ive was told it would be delivered 2 weeks ago - the 3rd party service they use has continued to push it back (currently 2 months). I have spent hours on hold trying to sort it out. At this point i want my money back but cant even get anyone to talk to me to cancel the order. The employees here are completely inept.
Supposed to have fridge delivered today so we cleared out our old fridge early this morning. The fridge wasnt delivered so when we called for an update they said the delivery had been rescheduled but no one notified us. Then my husband got a text that the fridge would be delivered in 30 minutes but no one arrived. My husband went to the store where the fridge is currently located to talk to someone and there was nothing they could do to help even though it was in store. Awful service thinking about canceling our order.UPDATE: Shop at Conns for major appliances, super helpful and we got our fridge delivered 2 days after purchasing it. Delivery people were also very friendly.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!I ordered a stove on November 17th for a rental property I remodeled. It was scheduled to be delivered on the earliest delivery date, which was black Friday. Long wait, but I understand, holidays are busy. So the stove is delivered, damaged very obviously. Fine, these things happen. I ask for a new stove to be delivered. Delivery guys say great, someone will call you to reschedule the delivery. Next day, I get an email saying my order was delivered. I call into the store to try to correct the error and get it redelivered. No one is answering the delivery line. I finally get through to someone in appliances who connects me to deliveries. They say someone will call me to reschedule that afternoon. No one calls. I have been repeating this process for weeks now - struggling to connect to someone, finally connecting, someone promising me they will call, no one calls. Finally called corporate a couple days ago. They said someone would call me within 48 hours. NO ONE CALLED. I called the store again today and was hung up on THREE times. I switched from Home Depot to Lowes and for WHAT!? The worst customer service, and they basically have stolen $700 from me at this point.Edit: After calling corporate twice, a manager finally reached out to me and got everything sorted out. I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars because the occurrence was unacceptable even during COVID/holidays, but the manager I finally spoke too was very nice and helpful and got everything sorted out!
We went to get a few pots and a few plants. We forgot our pot at the register. One of the cashier, the one in the left register when you are on your way out, ran after us until she catches up. The poor lady was suffocated but so enthusiastic about delivering the pot. This lady made my day. I would go there just to see her again. I dont want to forget mentioning about all the varieties they have.
This Lowe’s is clean and quiet. It’ll be busy but not loud. Employees don’t run away from you or hide.I’d give it 5 star but the selection in some sections can be sparse and I don’t understand the store layout. I think we caught them while the were moving some things around .Friendly cashier in the garden center was nice even in the heat with a long line.
Greg is AMAZING. Ill admit that I went in MAD at Lowes... I ordered a washer/dryer months ago which the installation team broke and then the replacement machines were back ordered until January. I went to Lowes to get someone to fix it and Greg pulled out all the stops. I 1000% trusted that he knew what he was talking about and would get it done for me. I was DONE with Lowes and Greg singlehandedly fixed it for me, finding a new washer and dryer in stock and getting the delivery bumped up. His competence was so refreshing and needed. Thank you, Greg. Give the man a raise!
Probably the worst customer experience Ive ever had. Bought a fridge on April 17th. Sales guy never marked it as sold in the back and then on my delivery date, theres no fridge to deliver. Its now Aug 7th. They went and got a fridge from another store and promised it would be delivered on Aug 6th with a 8 am to 8 pm window. Sat at home for 12 hours and still nothing. Ice called the store over 20 times over the last 3 months and nobody knows what theyre doing. Very person I talk to gives a different answer. Will be a home depot guy going forward.
It was a quick in and out what i was looking was in stock but found other items that worked better that i didnt see online. Glad i walked in and look to see what other storage totes. I was able to found a bigger size for a little more but better for what i needed. Thanks for having multiple option in stock.
For SE Austin. Stassney Check reviews on Lowe’s corporate site. It’s 1.7. Don’t let this place steal your peace or gas. It’s terrible. I bought 5 palm trees paid 553.00 and 55 for delivery.from my debit card. I called to confirm they were pulled and secured in delivery and was reassured by Carla After that , The palms I paid for “went missing “from a secured storage for delivery I spent 2 hours in store while everyone passed the buck. Was told I’d be contacted. Never was. by some miracle they answered the phone. I was told by mgmt they saw the palms in delivery area unknown day. Was told by a manager Josh no last name that I would be reviving half my cash back in my checking acct where it came from. However I would receive the other half in store credit. I want all the cash I paid for the palms returned to where they took it from. The phone is never Answered. It’s real bad trust me Aman picking up from curbside was there longer than me Don’t go here
Tools were hard to find as they were mostly on the shelving above and not on display. Staff was friendly and helpful. But if your in a rush to get something and pack patience I suggest you go on a slower day of the week or curbside pick up your order. It will take a while or could to locate the tool you need.
Gave wrong refrigerator. Got home before we knew was wrong. Headed back called store 4 times was hung up on all 4 times. Get to the store and the kid at the desk didnt know what to do. He should not have been at the customer service desk. Very unprofessional. Had to get a sticker to help us. Management never showed up.
Normally have no issues with this Lowes but I was very disappointed in the curbside pickup. Placed an order online for 3 items. A water hose, a tarp, and some glass cleaner. Easy right? Waited 6 1/2 hours and it still wasnt ready. The manager I spoke to was very receptive and helped make it right which is why Im giving 4 stars instead of 2. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: During the pandemic you should give higher priority to the people trying to keep themselves, you, and your staff safe by ordering curbside. No customer should have to wait 6+ hours for something that would take less than 5 minutes to pull. I understand you might be busy but you arent THAT busy. Pay closer attention to your resource allocation.
I recently had a terrible experience with this location. I placed an online order and this location fumbled at every turn so I had to physically go down and try to resolve the issue in person but the problem persisted so I reached out to the online department and made an incident report (# 1-37683150467) and this location’s manager was supposed to call me within 24 hours but that was on Sept 2nd and I still haven’t heard from anyone. I understand that they are busy but I feel that I’ve given them plenty of time to respond to me. Anyway, I enjoy Lowe’s as a store but the customer service at this particular location is less than customer friendly.
Basically, they lied, lied, lied again, and left us actually unable to even work with them. They delivered a dishwasher and just kind of dumped it on us. My mother-in-law paid for removal and they led her to believe she was paying for installation. We called a plumber and he said it would cost 1000. So we went back to Lowes for pricing on installation. My MIL called the location, and they said they dont offer installation. This seemed odd to me so I went on the website. I didnt want to fill out a whole form (and also get signed up for their mailing list without asking, thanks for that) so I asked the chat agent. He said he couldnt even give me an estimate, even when I asked is it closer to 100 or 1000? He told me to fill out the form.So I gave in and filled out the form. It wouldnt accept my address. I obviously only have one address so I talked to another chat agent. She said to fill out the form. I repeated that I already had, and that I also tried refreshing the page, and closing and reopening the window. She told me to use a different browser. But that didnt matter anymore because at this point she gave me a pretty specific estimate of 130 to 180. So the first agent lied when he said he couldnt do that. Price is fine, home depot isnt much higher so it sounds reasonable. Around this time the website finally accepted my address. I asked if I still needed to fill out the form if I want to schedule installation and she said yes. But at this point the website worked. I got an email that said theyll call in 48 hours. If I wanted to call I would have done that in the first place. I had assumed the internet option would lead to more internet options. Why even have the online form???So I called because I wanted to get this all over with. I opted for it to call me back. When it called back it put me on hold again. Again, why have them call you back if youre just going back on hold when they call back??? I got an answer in about 5 minutes. So that person gave me a specific price and confirmed that they do installations to where I am. And then argued with me about the lying. I hung up.My MIL called, was on hold a half an hour, and then they said they only do installations for contractors. So we scheduled with another local business. They wasted hours of two peoples time and then just refused us business. So like, we cant give them money if we wanted to. After all that we dont. We really really dont.
Ordered a Refrigerator on Wednesday and scheduled delivery sometime Monday from 8-8 I was stop number 13. I waited all day and watched the tracker they gave in the email. It said the truck was at stop 12 at 10pm Monday. After that stop everything shut down. I didnt receive a call to say we wont make it or a email nothing. I got a call the next morning at 9am tuesday to reschedule my delivery because it was to late monday. Well I go to work for a week on wednesday so couldnt do anything for a week the lady talked her boss and he said get it on the truck and get it to me asap. She said she would be contacting me when they are headed from the store. 2 hours later nothing decided to call up Keith White at Lowes told him everything going on and he said he would get it all taken care of and setup. About 1 hour later the truck called me and said they are on the way. Very nice delivery team that dropped the fridge off. Big shout out to Keith White for getting everything done so quick when no one else was. Felt like I was getting ran around until keith got it going. Bad experience with lowes all together until keith jumped in. Highly recommend lowes gets their stuff together and get more communication skills.
Terrible customer service. Store doesnt value customers time or money. They make many mistakes and dont care to fix it. Have had multiple online orders lost or misplaced upon arrival. Today was the last straw when they accidentally gave my online order away (15 bags of gravel). I was told Id receive a discount for my trouble. When I arrived to the store the manager told me that no discount was available. They clearly dont value small homeowner customers. Taking all my business to Home Depot!
Thier moving tape was the same I could of gotten at the dollar store and it cost me $15. Was sad because I didnt feel well enough to return back to the dollar store and go buy the tape there so I had to purchase it for $15 and only get 6 unsteady of 13 plus tax at the dollar store. So sad I figured the were going to have the the 3M brand that why I had made the trip there in the first place and didnt buy at dollar store where I was at first.
I ordered a washer and dryer, and after FIVE different occasions where the delivery men never showed up and never got in contact with me, I was able to get a refund. Ridiculous that this happens, I hope Lowes actually does something to fix this or terminates the contracts of the lazy delivery drivers.
Poor quality of service. I am always put on hold for tens of minutes. I wanted blinds installed and kept calling them but the lady at the phone kept transferring the call to herself. I dont want to waste 45 minutes on the phone for a 1 minute phone call. How hard is it to transfer it to someone? Or call the concerned person to the phone. It isnt such a huge store.Just go to Home Depot on Slaughter Ln. Save yourself some trouble. They seem to have well trained staff
We prefer to shop at Lowes over the orange one, but the curbside pickup at this location is just abysmal. One time I got through on the phone and was told to hold, then disconnected, twice. Ended up going inside to pick up my order. Second time I couldnt even get anyone to pick up the phone for curbside. Went inside to pick up my order again and there were 3 people in line in front of me. Ive written this entire review in the time Ive been waiting. Still two people in front of me.Whats the point of curbside if you have to go stand inside the store for twenty minutes to get your stuff? Last time we do this and well be shopping elsewhere until this changes.
Do not use their curbside!!! They do not seem to have a dedicated worker for this job. Which is clearly needed considering we are in the middle of a pandemic and moms like myself arent taking young kids into stores. I arrived at 3:21 and left at 4:14. I spent around 55 min in my car in 100 degree weather with my 3 kids while no one answered their line. Not ONCE did I ever reach anyone on curbside after repeated calls. Neither did the other 2 ladies who had been waiting longer than me, one actually left after hitting the hour mark. An hour at curbside??? This should have been a 5-10 min pit stop. You guys should have this down already, completely figured out. Lots of businesses are offering curbside, take some notes on how to do this. I get being busy, but figure it out or dont offer the service. No one has time to waste like this. This is the reason for this post, please fix this problem. No one should be subjected to this terrible customer service. All the steps I took to get my item that I ordered on 7/12 and picked up on 7/20. My item was in an arriving at store status for several days and I finally got the pick up ready on the 20th.1) called the number thats on the curbside parking sign repeatedly for 45 min straight2) waved down a man putting away carts and asked if he could let someone know people were waitingWaited several minutes3) called flooring and asked if he could let someone know people were waitingWaited several minutes4) Got out of my car, left my kids in the car, and walked into the store up to the customer service to ask if anyone was working curbside or if they even still do it. I was told that that they were busy and someone would come out. There were 4 to 5 workers back there, 1 register open and they seem to be helping regular customers check out.Maybe another 10min later someone came out. No apologies on her end. The other customer waiting told the worker she was just about to cancel her order because she was over it and her response was I hate our customer service too. Nice.
If I could review with negative stars I would. Ordered a window for a customer on June 29th. Supposed to receive in 2 weeks. Finally delivered to store 3 months to the day later and surprise, its broken. Poor customer service. Unable to take responsibility for selling a window from an unreliable vendor and unwilling to make it right. Customer is understanding but this is not how I do business. I finished the job at no out of pocket cost to her. I spoke to the pros at Home Depot and they got me an identical window in 5 days at half the cost. I will never do buisness with Lowes again. People, go to Home Depot please. Less expensive, same quality without the run around.
Bought appliances at the Stassney location recently. Chris G in the appliances department could not have been more helpful, patient and polite with me. He explained that the washer/dryer set i was planning to buy was too small for my needs and guided me thru other options within my budget that would be more suitable. I also required a fridge/freezer with a reversible door feature, and again Chris took the time to narrow down my options while checking availability as i needed all the appliances asap. With the current appliance shortage i was quite frantic having had a fruitless hunt online, and it was such a stress buster having Chris guide me thru all the available options in stock at his location. The install happened a few days later without a hitch.Chris G is a real asset to this Lowes location.
I came here to pick up a $500+ order curbside. I let them know via their app I was on the way and then I let them know when I arrived. Ive been waiting almost 40 minutes so far. And it was 3:20 on Thursday when I arrived. In other words, not busy. And right now Im on hold with the store thinking calling might help. Ive been on hold for 9 minutes so far. Keep in mind Ive called 3 times and always gotten disconnected, so being on hold is a step up. But not a big step up as the person who answered didnt even talk to me. They just put me on hold. I think I might just cancel the order.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Jeff in appliances helped us many times for our kitchen remodel. He was very professional and helped us with every step of the process and even assisted us in loading the appliances. The garden center is well maintained and healthy. The trees and shrubs we purchased are still growing strong. The store is clean and well maintained.
I ordered a washer and dryer set. It has been rescheduled for delivery three times and still waiting on it to be delivered. I have been hung up on multiple times. I have called and no one can give me an answer. I was even called from a driver stating he was 40 mins out and he never showed!!! I called corporate and didnt get any help there either. No one is remotey concerned or does a follow up call. The latest excuse was my items were left on another truck. WORST PLACE TO BUY FROM AND EXPECT ACTUAL SERVICE!!!!
This store is an absolute joke, never got a straight answer on a refrigerator I ordered on the 4th of July sale, could rarely get anyone on the phone, they never knew where the appliance was and every time I showed up to the store got the same story (there was 1 there but some one always sold it to another person). No accountability, no professionalism, and certainly bad leadership. I will now always go to the same places I usually get my stuff from especially appliances. At the very least they know where their appliances are at any given time and will not give you some b.s. story about what is happening to your appliance, Oh yeah my appliance since I paid for it the 4th of july weekend and is now september, no I dont want anything else from your store and I scheduled my fridge to be delivered 2 weeks from now from Best buy. FIND SOME GOOD REPRESENTATION FOR YOUR COMPANY! its no wonder you cant keep up with the competition.(update: did eventually get my fridge my main issue was always that no one knew where my appliance was. Thank you to the Alfonzo who did figure out how to get us our fridge and comunicated with us to update as to what was going on)
Curbside service is the worst, I have yet to have a good curbside experience at this store. I checked-in on the app AND called their curbside number to let them know that I was there but they never answered. Why offer curbside if I end up having to pick up in store anyway?
Ive been a customer of this store for over 10 years. Today I called to speak to someone in the Flooring department. After being told several times the flooring specialist was busy with other customers, I spent 45 minutes waiting on hold and was hung up on 3 times. When my call was finally answered, the young man apologized and said hed been at lunch. He could not answer my question or schedule an appointment for me because he was a stocker for the department and had only been on the job 3 weeks. He told me I would need to call back another day. Shame on Lowes for being so poorly staffed that you cant accept calls and appointments.
I have to second what some other reviewers have mentioned about curbside. I used the app to tell them that I was on my way, checked in again on the app when I pulled into a curbside spot, and it assured me that someone would bring my order out soon. Half an hour later, I walked in and was told that Curbside isnt open right now. When is it open? Nobody knew. This isnt the first time Ive had issues with online orders here either. Three times now Ive had to wait 30-45 minutes to pick up an online order. Not waiting in line, mind you, just waiting for the staff to find the order.
I ordered a washer and dryer online to be delivered to my apt at the end of June. The whole thing was a disaster. I made many phone calls afterwards trying to figure out what stores were sending the machines as my order had been split. Lowes also didnt communicate that one store fulfilling part of my order was out of washers! In any case, I got a dryer delivery on my initial order date, but no washer. Washer delivery date was pushed out to a week or so later. I went to the S. Austin store and talked to a couple of appliance associates about my dilemma- Ralph and Chris (who I believe was training) and they helped me a lot. I am very grateful. Chris went especially out of his way to make sure that I got my delivery the next day and stayed with me through the whole process. I appreciate people who go out of their way to help.
Worst customer experience Ive had over the course of three trips. There are never any employees around night time. The employees do NOT know how to pull up orders properly. The manager is rude. I came in twice to pick up a grill that was scheduled to be picked up on the 10th. The grill wasnt there and it took them 30 minutes to find out. Two trips was made because one employee couldnt find order from phone number. I will never come here again once grill is received
I purchased a hot water heater that stated it had same day Installation which if you have a family is a huge selling point. Having a baby and being without hot water is trying. As we reviewed the paperwork it gave a 5 day period it could be installed. Not what all the signs prominent placed say but I understand plumbers have availability so it may take a day or two. On the second day I called the installer whom said they were waiting on Lowes to provide the heater. On the 4th day I called again, same answer, waiting on Lowes. Called Lowes and was given the run around about the installation date. I was told that the seller never guaranteed a date which they did. In all the corporate doubletalk to avoid blame they essentially said it was my fault its not installed. The employees were rude and unhelpful. Home Depot is right down the street. I will be taking my business there from now on.
Mixed bag. I needed a flooring order from these guys for a business delivery with a tight deadline, and was hit with several extra weeks of delays on delivery. They never called me with an update. They just let my delivery date come and go. When I called the flooring desk, no one answered. When I showed up in person, they told me they didnt have any information, other than a revised delivery date, which again lapsed with no communication. Finally after I called them almost a month on from the initial delivery date, they said my flooring was on a truck that day. And it actually showed up. I understand delays due to the current global situation, but the lack of communication and total lack of accountability is unacceptable. I cant say I can depend on this company when I need to run my business.
A lot of disorganization on the shelves and stuff stacked in the aisles so it is a little difficult to find and identify what you want. Selection seemed a little lacking also, but it is OK, I guess. It is close to the house so I will return, but they could work on their shelves a bit more. Otherwise it is a typical home improvement store.
I looked up online to find the part I needed and I found where it was located within the store. When I got to the store it wasnt anywhere on that shelf or to the shelves of either side or across the aisle. I look for an associate to help me find the item. There was no one around except for one man who turned three aisles before the aisle I was standing at so he wouldnt have to interact with me. The store was closing in 5 minutes after I spent 10 minutes looking for somebody to help me. I decided to give up and tried to leave as the announcement for 5 minutes until closing happened. The doors were already locked I asked an Associate how do you leave and he turned and walked away towards the back of the store. I went back to the door and no one was around. I went to another door where there were three Associates and I asked can I get out here and there was no response. I shouted can I leave now and finally someone pulled out a pair of keys to unlock the door while a female associate snidely said someone didnt hear our announcement that we were closing. I had spent 15 minutes trying to leave before being allowed to leave because no one was around or opening doors. I will go shop at Home Depot.
Who ever thought it would be a good idea to have self checkouts at a home improvement store?? I had a wide variety of items including flooring, trims, a ceiling fan, and many other awkward items. There were no regular cashiers available to checkout customers. It was very irritating, time consuming, and difficult do a self checkout. I asked the self checkout helper to call a manager and there were none on duty. Lowe’s should always have regular cashiers and managers on duty!! As a longtime customer of Lowe’s who has spent many thousands of dollars over the years, I not only want merchandise when I shop there. I want and deserve customer service!! Not self service!!
Absolutely horrid service. Went to order a grill and they had free delivery for any grill purchase over $500. Set up delivery at the customer service desk. I see the phone lines ringing for about 10 minutes straight without anyone answering. End up getting my order in (or so I thought) for delivery. Suppose to come in the morning window on Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and its not 1PM, so I call to check in on the delivery. Phone rings.. And rings... And rings.. And finally gets picked up after 5 minutes. They said theyre running behind and morning window lasts until 2PM. I wait till 3PM. Nothing. Call again to check status - still running behind. 4:30PM rolls around - ring ring ring. 5Minutes before someone picks up. This time the person did some investigating and it turns out the women at the customer service desk didnt put in my address for them to deliver to. Meanwhile, I try to reschedule my delivery but they cant do it until the item is back at the store. They promised they would call me when it arrives so we can reschedule a delivery and Ive yet to hear back from them a full 24 hours later.I absolutely never leave reviews, but this is BY FAR the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.
First time dealing with a major corporation that has this much incompetence. Im trying to spend my money with them, they are making it so difficult. Piss poor communication (if any at all), piss poor management, piss poor ordering, piss poor delivery, piss poor installation. Ive been trying to get my washer and dryer delivered and installed for almost a month. Completely worthless employees, completely worthless customer service. The only way this place can be in business, is sheer volume of customers that must have easy at the register transactions in cash... anything more complicated than that, dont go to Lowes! Certainly dont call this location either. 50 minutes on hold to be disconnected. Will never get another penny from me.
I like this place much better than Home Depot. Seems Home Depot is putting more into their AP and not so much on getting their stock out and customer service. This Lowe’s is clean, stocked and they don’t make me feel weird by sending a hundred people speed walking by the end cap but never asking if they could help me find anything. This Lowe’s never seems to be really busy. Can always make it in and out when I need to.
In line with several others who ordered online. Some days before. No order was pulled, all was in the processing step. All of our items were in the shelves. Zero help from staff, zero advantage ordering for pick-up. Poorly managed store. One very energetic young man slouched in a chair said he would get to orders in a few days. Hello Home Depot.....
We were lucky to get an awesome manager there to help us on our first visit looking for appliances for our new kitchen. Great service and advice. We were very happy with our choices and purchases. On follow up visits, though, we notice some employees in place that dont even smile to acknowledge you while you wait for your turn to get some attention. I basically left after getting the evil eye from someone in the appliances dept. that was helping a lady and seemed frustrated and upset.Hopefully, that would change with time and staff training and Ill be able to give a 5* rating on our next visit. Om
Very bad customer service i ask for help 4 times and each of them keep saying one moment and never came to assist me 45 minutes spent asking for help they literally seen mee standing needing for assistance they didn’t even bother. So i had to go to home depot FAST FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Awful pickup experience of my online order (dishwasher).I ordered a great, 2020 Whirlpool dishwasher on sale at a great price ($720).The pickup counter disbursed a mediocre, 2019 Samsung dishwasher and still charged me $720. This dishwashers price at Lowes.com is $529.Absolute incompetence.Unfortunately, my wife and I did not realize that we have the wrong dishwasher until right after it was already installed at my house 80 minutes later. We immediately called, and after some wrangling were offered a $191 refund for the gap on the Lowes price between the mid-end Whirlpool and low-end Samsung dishwashers. The price of the Samsung dishwasher is $471 at Home Depot and similarly-lower at Best Buy and Samsung.com. Despite my repeated requests, Lowes would not even price-match with Home Depot.Lowes pulled an appliance switcheroo on me - likely to get rid of unwanted, excess inventory of a mediocre, aging product. My wife complains that the new Samsung (55dB) is too loud. The Whirlpool would have been 47dB.
Large contributor to the Trump campaign or not, have to go with the Barbara Jordan Home Depot (5 minutes away) after my experience with Lowes this morning. The werent doing curbside pickup today. I had to go to the customer service desk. Then I had to go to the pro desk. Pro desk woman tried to grab my phone, fork lift driver not wearing a mask. Pro desk woman wanted me to sign paperwork. Im 67 and didnt feel safe. we dont have curbside today? $3200 delivery order two weeks ago, $1400 delivery order arrived Tuesday but after that Im done with Lowes. Ill send contributions to Joe Biden. Sorry
Im using Lowes more frequently, because it is so convenient, and lately Ive noticed that theyve been bringing in some cool extras, like retro-style small refrigerators, (small enough for an RV or dorm room) and bamboo poles, 5 foot and 6 foot long, strung together, which can be interesting for landscaping use. They are better stocked with metal fencing and dog kennel options, than the competition, as well.I dinged them one star, because I signed up for a credit card account, about a month or six weeks ago, and explained to the clerk at the time that I was doing so, in order to take advantage of a ten percent discount for military veterans and their spouses. Despite expressly explaining my plan, I was given an application for a credit card which does NOT honor the military discount, while they have another credit card which DOES! Too many credit inquires can adversely affect my credit score, so this was a significant mistake. In order to maintain a good credit rating, Im not going to rush into switching accounts.Ive had good luck finding sales people on the floor to direct me to the right aisle for whatever it is Im looking for, which is a time saver. So, all in all, I recommend Lowes, but also shop at the competition, as options and on sale prices may vary.
Bad customer service every time I come here. Staff act as if they are doing you a favor helping you. Today, called flooring 2 times and no one answered. Went there to get item website said was in stock. Finally tracking someone down, girl named Marissa paged someone in department, waited about 1 minute, then walked off. Waited 10 minutes and nothing. Other people near her acted as if I wasnt even there. After waiting with no help, Marisa saw me walking to her and she turned and went where I couldnt ask her the status. Finally after complaining, girl looked up item and said it actually wasnt in stock. Could have done that to begin with. Avoid this location. I can assure you none of these people will ever be employed at any of my businesses. 6-15-20, 6:41pm.
5510 IH35 Frontage RdI just wanted to let you know about an outstanding employee you have named Tim Tyler that is working at Lowes Southeast Austin. He goes way above and beyond and has totally taken really good care of me. I own rental properties in central austin and was always running to Home Depot Mueller because it was closer. HD couldn’t get me what I needed so I went to Lowes off of Stassney and Tim went out of his way to get me everything I needed. There is no comparison HD to the customer service at Lowes so you have a client who will only shop at Lowes moving forward. Special SHOUT OUT to Tim who cares about his customers and has made shopping with Lowes such an incredible experience. You guys are extremely lucky to have him!!!
Curbside pickup took an hour. Arrived at 12:05, called and spoke with a representative letting them know my order number and parking space. Called again at 12:30, and was asked to provide the order number again. At 12:40, an employee came out to the car and asked for our order number a 3rd time. Finally recieved my purchase curbside at 12.55. I could understand if they were busy; however the parking lot not even close to halfway full.
The service is really sub par compared to other Lowes Ive been to. I went to pick up an online order and spent over an hour in the store waiting on the employees (manager included) arguing over the radio about who was going to bring my item to the front. This was on a Wednesday and the store was slow... I would have gone back there and picked the item up myself if I were able to...
Do not use Lowe’s delivery. We paid in full on June 6 for a June 23rd delivery which they cancelled cause it rained that morning but cleared that afternoon. The redelivery was to take place on the 24th and when I called I was assured it was going to be delivered and nope that didn’t happen either. I had called all morning and as it got close to delivery only to find out it was never on the truck nor was it ready. Had to drive to Lowe’s and was told it would get delivered on he 25th then to find out they didn’t have all the items. They had it on the 6th when I ordered it but now they don’t have it nowhere.... The lumber department at Lowe’s in stassney sucks do not have them to deliver your stuff and if it is lumber make them get the items right then and there. Now I’m stuck with some pieces and can’t get my deck built
I appreciate the effort and commitment Daphne R. from appliance delivery showed in getting my order delivered on time. After a delay in the original delivery date that would’ve cost me time and money to re-coordinate contractors, she was creative and resourceful in finding a solution that enabled everything to go as originally planned. Thank you for the great customer service.
Visited the Schertz Lowes Location and they refused to sell the Bistro Table they had on display, ridiculous. Manager (I believe name is David) didnt even know his own company policy, as display models can be sold to consumers. Numerous individuals not wearing mask, including at there costumer service counter. Manager states that it is up to the costumer to wear a mask in the store. Beware of this store, Covid 19 is lingering at this store.
I recently had a phenomenal experience purchasing a refrigerator from this location. Special thank you to Mike and Aaron in appliances and to the delivery teams that brought my items to my house. My fridge had a problem at delivery and the Lowes team acted very quickly to resolve the issue as soon as I reached out. Thank you to everyone at that store who helped with my purchase and delivery!
I never write reviews but for this case I just have to. This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I placed an order online for a pickup for some plywood. I called in to have it pre-cut while waiting half an hour on hold to reach someone. I explained to a lady what cuts I requested to have done. She seemed to not really be understanding what I was saying and not really paying proper attention so I had my doubts that she requested it properly. Next day, pick up is ready so I call in to confirm the pre-cut I requested were made. Another lady tells me that nothing was even written down about any pre-cut request. I get upset that I wasted an hour requesting that and asked her to make that request again. I also asked to speak to a supervisor about the hassle it took to make that request. She puts me on hold for 20 minutes and then the phone cuts out. I call back upset that I waited that long hold and ask that she please find a supervisor without putting me on hold this time as I was tired of always getting put on hold with the phone cutting out. I explained I was ok with waiting but not on hold anymore. She does for 5 minutes and then without warning puts me on hold again. 10 minutes later again it cuts out. I call back and this time asked for her name and demanded I speak to a supervisor. She refuses to give me her name and again hangs up the phone in my face.At this point Im very upset for wasting now hours of my time for a simple plywood precut request. I call a different department to reach a manager. Eventually I reach the manager named Gregory. I explain to him the whole situation and I am simply told that he will speak to the entire customer service team about it and that he, somewhat apathetically, apologizes. I tell him thats fine but I would really like to identify the person that hung up in my face so that the repercussions reach the appropriate person. I told him I dont want her fired or anything like that but at least for her to not get away from concealing her identity to avoid any repercussions. I tell him I can just identify over the phone (not difficult as she is the only one answering customer service calls) or go there to identify but he refuses either case and tells me he will speak to the entire team.I ended up cancelling my entire order with them while explaining that Ill never shop at that Lowes again. I had been a customer there for a few years now. This manager offered zero compensation and never bothers to identify the real problem in his customer service. Never had something this bad happen to me in customer service before, especially for something so small as a plywood cut request.
If you have an important delivery from Lowes at Stassney, do not relay on them!! They changed my delivery date without telling me, then when I called to get it - I got 3 different stories. 1) the vendor never shipped the material (even though it was on a truck), 2 ) the canceled the delivery due to weather, then, 3) they changed the delivery date (2 weeks after my scheduled installation date). They would not even try to get my order to me on time, even though they know they have it sitting there on a truck. The staff at the Stassney location not only told me different stores, they seemed to care less if they kept my business. After being a Lowes customer for almost 20 years and spending thousands and thousands of dollars, Im going to their competitor - Home Depot - to get my supplies.
Really bad service,we went to buy an upright freezer because the storm last night killed the one we had so we looked on line and saw that Lowes had one so we went to buy it the person that took care of us was fine but she called for someone to get the freezer and nobody showed up after calling many times I went to customer service they also called a few times and nothing my husband went back to customer service and they finally got someone to bring it out for us but my son had a bad experience too with a large tool box for his truck and even though they had it they didnt want to bring it down so if I can avoid buying anything here I will.
This location seems to be having some staffing issues. Weve overheard staff complaints and had a difficult time receiving assistance at the paint counter. The man who helped my wife explained how it was is last day there.. Some exterior lights we were purchasing were also marked at a price half of what they were ringing up as. It was no sale price, they were on the display wall and even had the contractor pack discount marked which made them even cheaper if you buy more than 3. I went back to the lighting isle, took pics in order to prove my claim.. cashier insisted well this is what theyre ringing up as and I cant change the price. Eventually it was sorted out. This trip to the store was around 830pm on a Tues. Honestly, I dont know how these big stores (or most businesses) can even keep staff considering the employment rate these days (% and $ per hr).Anyway, I was bored, eating breakfast and thought Id share my experience.. ✌
DO NOT MAKE ONLINE ORDERS TO THIS STORE!! Made an order, order status listed as “in process” for two days. On the third day I called to see how much longer it would take. Representative told me it’s ready I just needed to come pick it up. The next day I get a message saying that I should receive a merchandise card in 3 more days for the almost $400 spent on the online order. I call customer service and wait 20 minutes to be told my order was cancelled (on the same day I was told my order was ready) because they were out of stock! Why did the store rep tell me to come pick it up then?! I normally don’t write reviews like this but I don’t want anyone else to waste the time and money on this process just to be inconvenienced and frustrated.
L visited this location looking for shelf brackets. Received some great help and I did buy a packet of screws here and an 8 foot by 16 inch piece of wood. They both worked great but I did wind up purchasing the shelf brackets at Home Depot because they were much cheaper there.
Aaron from appliances lied to us, which was horrible. He stated that hed confirmed with someone that a 3rd party had to be contacted in order to remove a display clearance chandelier. So the department would call us, whenever that 3rd party company was available. We purchased our other items and was leaving, until I decided to head back on to customer service. There this female cashier, immediately contacted Larry and he went directly to the chandelier I wanted to purchase, brought over a ladder and disconnected it, so that I can purchase it.Overall, it was a great deal and ended in amazing customer service; thank God I listened to Him as we were heading to the car.
I shop Lowes a lot because its nearby and we have their credit card. This location is not super busy and that can be a good thing for quick trips. But it can be hard to find help. Staff doesnt seem as skilled in project advice as some hardware stores. Good nursery options.
I got to my job site and realized I left my purchase on the counter because I was distracted by a phone call. I drove back mad ready for a fight. The lady who checked me out was gone and I explained to customer service what happened and she said go and get another one. No fight, no emotion, just great customer service. Her customer service made me aware at how wrong my attitude was because really this was my fault. Now thats a Christmas gift because it will make me a better person.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a pleasant sales associate Jana. Who when I mentioned that I needed double sided tape for an area rug. Took me to the isle promptly. She and I had some quick banter and I informed her that my dad was relocating, due to being diagnosed with Alzheimers. She mentioned that she had heard music of their era, has shown to be helpful. This went above and beyond her job duties and proved to me, this particular Lowes. Has made the right decision, by hiring Jana.
I was looking for pieces to clip on in the wires they had no sizes just one I look for super striped they had none the only ones they had were 2 foot no longer had a long poles basically running low on a lot of stuff and some of the employees just didn’t know too much about anything that they’re in charge of their isles
Workers didnt care about customers, they are chatting on the phone, walking around and do nothing to help you . I asked to 3 different people if they can help me to find an item, and they said, let me call somebody and leave you as you do not exist. Waiting over 30 minutes for somebody to help you , it makes you wish do not come back at Lowes again.
Terrible customer service. Order your appliances somewhere else!!! They changed my address and wasn’t delivered, then it was delivered damaged, and I’ve now called 10x (no joke) and have been hung up on 4x, people have said they’re going to fix it and get back to me but no one calls back, and no one can get me in touch with a manager.
Jeff with appliances is an absolute jewel!! He is full of great advice and really knows his stuff. He is also a great conversationalist, which helps making purchasing appliances more bearable. I was dreading this part of my home renovations but thanks to Jeff I really enjoyed it. I will continue to shop a Lowes because of him!!!
Love love love me some Lowes especially this one on Stassney. Ive always found everyone here very helpful and absolutely love all of their clearances. My 1-acre property is completely landscaped with all of their wonderful clearances of plants. Because I do not have a green thumb I dont mind risking buying plants at wonderful clearance prices and if they die its not such a big deal to me. I never fail to find a good bargain at Lowes. Its always harder to find Bargains at Home Depot thats why I I drive 5 more miles further to go to Lowes
Went to customer service to check out -didn’t want to do self check out. After waiting in line for awhile someone walked up after us for a return and the lady at customer service let the lady go next and we were then told to go to self check out. We had multiple items and a gift card we wanted to purchase that needed assistance - hence the reason we didn’t want to go to self checkout.
I was looking for some garden stakes and I couldnt locate them, finally some vendors that were putting up their displays helped me find them. These folks arent employees of Lowes get this, but they stopped what they were doing and helped locate them. Then I got to the register to check out and the cashier was awesome, she just started there 3 weeks ago, on top of that shes from Nicaragua, her English was impeccable, but since I decided to speak Spanish, her skills were awesome. Home Depot is the opposite of Lowes employees, also youre at your own mercy shopping at Home Depot. Ive had some nasty employees there, that are obnoxious. The cashiers name is Milagros,Miracles in English. Give Lowes an opportunity to help your construction of your next project. Im in the process of adding a section to my Motor Home, convert it to a small home,Lowes is my place to shop for my project
Lowes is like HEB Grocery Store. Customer service is number 1.Home Depot is like Walmart. Customer service sucks.I rather pay a few cents extra and get treated right.Home Depot personnel run away when they see you coming. At Lowes they walk around asking people if they can help. HUGE Difference! They say the Pros go to Home Depot..LOL The pros probably dont go to either since they more than likely have dealers they get stuff from. The ones that do go to Home Depot and Lowes probably do so to get credit.I rather be at Lowes than any Home Depot. I always get treated better.
BOTTOM OF THE BARREL CUSTOMER SERVICE - Endless phone loops, have to be on phone for over 30 minutes to even get to right department. Lowes, as well as HD is RIDDLED WITH INCOMPETENCE. I have no idea how a business like this can stay in existence with the LOW QUALITY service they (dont) give. Im just hoping a worthy competitor comes up at some point and DEMOLISHES these worthless stores.
With in store shopping I have noticed a majority of workers are inclined in not helping. Idk if it is due to covid19 but no one offered to help and I was passed by several employees. The one employee I did walked up to and asked for assistance took 3 steps back when I was actually at a good 6ft from him. Damn you covid19.....
It seems like every Lowes that I go to the staff hides when Im in the concrete area. I could be loading bags of concrete on a cart and employees will walk right by you and try not to look at you. They tend to hide from hard work. If you ask where a certain item or items could be. It seems like they just pop off and Ill number. And the items arent even know were remotely associated with that aisle. Nine times out of 10 they will have you walking from one side of the store to the other, instead of walking you to where you need to go poor customer service
The most frustrating delivery experience including empty promises from staff and corporate and a complete lack of caring about me as a customer. I am on my 3rd delivery attempt due to Lowes rescheduling then delivering the wrong items. Word of advice: DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES FOR DELIVERY ONLINE - GO TO A PHYSICAL STORE. All online orders go through one store and they are so badly understaffed and poorly managed. You will not have a quick or accurate delivery, multiple employees say this is how it is for everyone they encounter who order online. Never again will I buy from Lowes.
Online ordering for Pickup is a joke. Got my notification that my item was ready went to pickup counter and the clerk had to go figure out where the item was so I had to wait for 20 minutes. She said whoever got the orders ready put them at the pro desk. System is Messed up might as well just go inside and use traditional checkout.
The Lowes website said the store I went to had the product I was looking for. The website even gave me the isle # and bay #. Wow! How convenient! I proceed to isle 16 bay 5 and the part is not there. Two employees helped me look. One helped me look all over the store. Never found the product the website said they had. 1 hour wasted ( I really needed that part).
Monday morning, my experience was really bad, I was looking for tomato and pepper plants and I did ask for help to a lady in the register, her name was Cristina she said she wasn’t able to help me and I said if she can ask for someone to help me out and very rude she said that wait outside where the plants are, I walk out and I saw her going back to her position in the register with her phone in hands and I had to wait 30 minutes under the sun until a white guy took his time to come and help me out.Really bad costumer service and he didn’t give me options about the plants, he just said “that is the only plants we got” and he walk away to talk with the lady in the register, there was people shopping out there and they seemed to be careless about customers. Really bad costumer service.
This store is horrible. Tried to get a door delivered to us, Evan the delivery manager puts you on hold and never comes back, tells you when his guys will hopefully make the delivery, they never show up. I ask for calls to stay in the loop, no one ever calls me. Then one day without notice I get a call they are at my house delivery the door and I wasnt even home! After my wife rushes home to accept delivery the door had dings all over it and we refused accepting delivery. NEVER AGAIN LOWES!
I went into the store to order a storm door. The mill work rep was not very knowledgeable, slow, and generally unhelpful. I paid $35 for them to come out and take a measurement of my front door so that I could purchase a storm door. The contractor came out and measured, then I hear nothing from Lowes for over a week. I call into their store customer service to see if I could schedule the install. I get hung up on twice. I call a third time, I get transferred to about 4 different people, all claiming they didnt know how to help. I finally get transferred to the store manager who puts me on hold for 45 minutes. I decide to hang up and go into the store. The customer service reps in the store says someone should have called me by now (duh!) with next steps, but they didnt have any details on my measurement even though it showed it was complete in their systems. I decide to get my money back and make my purchase elsewhere. The staff at this location have bad attitudes, are unhelpful, and show no initiative to take care of the customer. I wont be returning to this store ever again.
Please come in to the store to buy whenever possible. Online shopping from local stores slowly takes the need for in store employees away. Plus the web site does not offer full info on delivery or needed accessories for appliance installs. I can not count how many people cime back into the store anyway, after an online purches, gobget hoses or a powercord. Do your self and the Lowes employees a favor and shop in store.
Just had the most ridiculous experience in this Lowe’s. Went to go buy a piece of wood to have cut into 12 inch by 12 inch blocks. Walked over to a wood cutter that was ‘out of order’ and followed Frank to what I thought was another area he could cut the wood. Without saying a word to me like ‘be right back’, he just walked up and helped another customer decide on a door he would like to purchase. He walked back and said ‘oh are you waiting for something?’. I let him know that I was waiting for him and he informed me that he can do nothing. Apparently there is one wood cutter in all of Lowe’s and some terrible customer service but Frank.
Ive been in here a few times recently because I just moved into a new apartment. The staff were friendly & helped me find the things I needed. I also experienced their return process & that took less than a minute so thats a bonus! Will come back in the future for anything else I need.
Called in an order to get bounced around 4 times, finally getting bounced back to the original person I called. When I got there to pick it up, 3 hours later, they either lost or never made the order. Both of the people helping me at the store started doing other tasks in the middle of helping me.
Adel in Customer service was amazing and so much help from the phone to me getting here to exchange and fix a problem another store caused Thank you so much Adel she is also a Veteran so I would also like to thank you for your service to the wonderful country!!!! 100% satisfied
Im struggling a lot this location and a simple order. It was done online and took my money just fine but to make sure items and delivery was ok I had to speak to costumer service who hung up on me twice and while bringing up my order and putting me on hold new people kept answering asking hheow they could help me today... finally when things were worked out, the first half i picked up in store that was ready was very wrong. It took what should have been a time saving pick up and made it twice as long. At this point this experience was draining, but everyone was pretty nice and I felt okay as long as the drywall I ordered was still being delivered Im 12/05 (That I paid for). If they called there is no voicemail and email just says expect a call so time wise it could be any time. The delivery date was already a long wait for sixty bucka for three pieces of drywall!!! BUT NOW I just got an email confirmation that I waited five days just for it to be ready for PICK UP?!! I dont know what else to say or do...or what to think. I am so frustrated and disappointed by this experience.
When I come here for the project Im working on, Im very lost as Im coming up with ideas on the fly. Brittany was helpful and happy, very enthusiastic on ideas and genuinely gave me confidence, then I got to talk to Adam and Joe who gave me great ideas and Devin for making it happen. Love the staff here and will continue to come here.

2021-08-08Nice Lowe’s! We went late at night so it was not crowded. I appreciate that they are open late until 10 pm also. No lines and no wait at the self checkout. Also, because I do go late, I prefer it be in an area that is safe, which it indeed is. They even have these two large camera towers (or whatever they are called) watching over the parking lot. Made my mom feel safer. They had a good selection and the store was pleasantly organized. We went for paint products and they seem to carry everything their competitors carry if not more. Customer service was good as well and was able to find someone quick when questions came up during the visit. Recommend going here when you need to.

2022-03-22Avoid Appliances Department at ALL costs. You will waste weeks of your life addressing issues with installations and machines. Two months ago, we were in the market for a new washer and dryer and mistakenly chose to buy from Lowes. What ensued was a frustrating saga filled with customer service failures at every step, and which ultimately was only fully resolved with the help of a neighbor. Below is a full timeline of events:1/24: We arrive at the store. Lengthy wait (40 minutes) to even speak with an Appliance Sales rep, but it seems busy and understaffed so it was understandable. We commit to a pair of machines and make two requests: we want the shipping bolts that come with the washing machine, and for the doors to be flipped so they don’t hit each other in our laundry closet. The salesman promises both and assures us the machines will be delivered on that Friday (1/28).1/27: We call the salespersons business card as we havent received any communication yet on the delivery. It turns out to be the same number as the general store phone line, so we wait on hold for ten minutes until someone tells us that the machines werent actually in stock, and they left a message on our phone explaining the delivery would shift to Monday. There was no voicemail, but at least we now know the change.1/31: Lowes calls us with a delivery window of 4p-7p the next day.2/1: Lowes service people arrive 6 hours ahead of the delivery window and deliver both machines. Shipping Bolts are missing (“not on the truck”), doors are not flipped.2/2: We call Lowes so that they can come back and complete the service they promised (Shipping Bolts and doors being flipped), hopefully within the service window this next time.2/7: The same Lowes service people return at 7am (again well out of the 11-2pm service window) to attempt to flip the doors. In trying to unscrew the doors, they strip the screws and their drill continuously skids onto the machine body, visibly damaging the brand-new $1000 appliance. They tell us they cant do it, ask us to sign off that they did the job, and leave.2/8, 2/9, and on several occasions afterward: We call and email Lowes management and explain the situation thus far. After a handful of redirections and transfers to different corporate associates, we finally reach someone who promises they will send a new dryer out to replace the one they damaged and also remove the shipping bolts from another washer to give to us, though “we’ll have to sell that machine at a discount.” How is that in any way my problem?2/22: The same Lowes service people who have failed to do their jobs properly twice now, return with the new machine to replace the one they damaged. After they leave, we try to run the machines but discover the hose was not properly installed into the dryer and water is leaking everywhere behind and beneath it. Either the serviceman knew it was going to leak and didn’t want to fix it or they were simply too lazy to check, because they didn’t turn the water back on before leaving.2/28: Rather than deal with Lowe’s or its unbelievable incompetence any longer, we ask our neighbor to come over and fix the hose connection. Luckily, they’re able to help and after a long six weeks, we have two machines that are at least functional. If you’re wondering about the doors, they are still on the wrong way.Interspersed within the timeline are the multiple phone calls to customer service to make our situation right. Many of these calls ended abruptly after waiting on line for over 15 minutes and then being disconnected. If there is a bright spot in this story, it is Rebecca (or, maybe Farah?) in customer service at Lowe’s, she was extremely helpful regarding our plight and helped identify the right people for us to contact, and actually followed up on their actions, a big shout-out to her!We learned the problem is that Lowe’s uses a third party for appliance delivery and installation. I wish you all the luck we didn’t have and double the time and effort we spent trying to right Lowes every wrong.

2022-02-15Ive been shopping at this Lowes for years and havent had many issues until now. I went in and found a refrigerator on sale. Preparing for my move, I purchased this refrigerator and scheduled delivery weeks in advance. The appliance associate told me that he had reserved the item in the inventory in the back of the store. Fast forward to the scheduled delivery day, I never received a phone to narrow the delivery time, so I called the store to inquire. After being hung up on 3 times in a row trying to reach someone in the delivery department, I reached a manager and I explained to him my situation. After researching, he told me that not only it was not going to be delivered but there was not any refrigerator of that model available in store or any other store in the city and surrounding area. There was no ETA of any future restock of this item that I was previously promised and paid for. They would not sell me the floor model and did not offer any other equivalent refrigerator or anything. Total dead end. I found out that Lowes is currently very understaffed and they recently started using a newer inventory software that the employees dont want to use, resulting in total mismanaged chaos. I ended up getting a total refund and purchasing a different refrigerator from somewhere else.

2022-01-08The absolute worst. Do not give them your business. I just sat on hold for 30 minutes for the millionth time only to have someone pick up the phone and hang it up. These people take no pride in their work, they have no hesitation to inconvenience you and they dont feel bad about it in the slightest. I cannot stress enough how much you should not give Lowes your business. Home Depot is way better, smaller building supply stores are even better, Lowes is just flat out terrible. And often theyre more expensive, just so they can pretend theyre giving you a discount with their 5% Lowes member fake out. Go elsewhere. One star, would not recommend

2022-05-02If I could give this store a 0 star review I definitely would. They need to empty out the whole store and hire a whole new team. I bought a pressure washer recently and was told I had a 90 day return policy on it. It broke and now I want to return it. Now they are saying that it was only a 30 day return and that policy had recently changed. Turns out the policy was always like that and I was just told the wrong info and now they won’t even let me speak to a manager to get it resolved. Will be telling everyone about this store and why not to go there!!!

2022-04-16The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any store ever! Curbside doesn’t even exist!! They say they’ll bring it out and they never do. They even lie about kids workshops. Their website says they have them and you just arrive to a bunch of clueless employees who have no clue what’s going on. Even the customer service desk is as rude as possible. Instead of answering our question, she picked up phone and seemingly made a personal call for 20 minutes while refusing to help us.

2022-03-24I think if you put an employee outside to work and they dont have anything to keep them warm from the cold, they should at least keep a few jackets handy just in case. Not everyone assumes it gets cold in Central Texas. I felt bad for a sweet, young lady who said she was outside early in the morning freezing. I gave her my jacket. Im not seeking praise, but I would want someone to help me if I ever needed it. Thats what neighbors are for. Anyone who is around you is a neighbor. Be kind.

2022-06-07My experience was with the appliance team. Especially Lanette who helped me with ordering my dryer. She was extremely competent and helpful. There was also a gentleman who helped as well, but I wasnt able to see his name.

2022-06-07This review is focusing on how Lowes uses its 30-day return (small appliance) to victimize its customer(s).The third-party delivery people will leave your house super ASAP without testing the new purchase with you. And even if they are nice enough to test it with you, you will fall into the maintenance trap since it is no longer the new item to be qualified for a return as in their so-called 30-day return policy. The so-called 30-day return is Lowes trick to lower your guard down.If you got any malfunction, GREAT!Keep calling Lowes and GOOD LUCK!How naive we should be to think Lowes will consider their customers (your newly purchased broken washer is a disaster to everyday life due to no clean laundry?) The wait time is forever and that is no surprise because Lowes can use Covid as an excuse in their advantage. And not including ZERO call back-the perfect silence Lowes offers. After writing to the CEO of Fidelity, we were lucky enough to have the credit card department reimburse the purchase dollar amount of the new broken washer from Lowes inventory. My two cents:during inflation, be cautious about where and how your money gets spent. Hidden costs and business traps are more than ever. Spend money on only necessities. Minimize the chance to be taken advantage of (your existence).
