Went today for my job saw a 43.00 leaf blower that just said craftsman 2 cycle leaf blower. After paying I realized they charged me 99.00. Went to customer service desk first things they said is they dont price match and a customer must have put it in the wrong spot. However I have a picture of the display it had 2 different models in the display B200 B210 my was a B210. They sent someone to find the 43.00 that person disappeared which makes me believe they figured out they made a mistake and didnt want to admit it. I have pictures of the display and my receipts so avoid this place if you dont want to get ripped off and treated like garbage. They have terrible customer service skills and even more so when you have proof they are wrong.
June 12 2021 we ordered an electric range with a double oven and was told we needed to pay in full for them to order it and it’s be in in six weeks. Six weeks hit when we were in the middle of moving a household, cattle herd, goats, chickens etc so we didn’t contact Lowe’s CS to check on our order. When we did call in September they could not even find our order in their system so we gave them the information on the receipt they said they “fixed the problem” and the range would be in in 6-8 weeks. We said ok, figuring the supply chain is having issues. We’ll last week we called to check on the order and once again were told there was no such order in their system 🤦🏼♀️. My husband and I drove an hour to the College Station Lowe’s where is debacle was occurring and there was NO RECORD OF OUR ORDER IN THEIR SYSTEM. But they new it should be because we had the receipt where we paid for the range. We received a half a$$ apology from Shane who said he was going to have a “chat” with our original sales person, Marc to address this issue. Ya think! ?! We did receive a full refund.On Monday November 8th 2021 we drove to Waco Lowe’s on New Road (we had recently bought appliances for a rental house and had a great experience) spoke to JD and was assured we could order the same range and have it within 7-10 days. Today, 12 November 2021 we received a call that our electric double oven range was in and ready for pickup. So Waco Lowe’s managed to do in five days what College Station Lowe’s could not do in five months!This Lowe’s is horrible and it is well worth the drive to Waco Lowe’s for an outstanding experience!
Bought a washer and dryer.... $3500.00 worth..... dryer does not work... called to get help.... was hung up on 3 times... called a 4th and drove from home to the store 6 miles away and it was still ringing when I walked into the store. Asked the guy in appliances if the washer and dryer were supposed to come with manuals so I could figure out what was wrong.... he said yes but they always throw them away.... I told him the problem and he said he couldnt help but could print out the manual... I said yes... he printed it out in spanish.... I said I can read Spanish and got..... well... my printer just broke.... it goes on from there...get worse... GE is sending a tech out Monday.... Lowes says its not covered u der the 30 day warrenty even though it was delivered 2 days ago.... Lowes says the 30 day warrenty starts when I buy the item.... not when its delivered ..... it took 3 1/2 weeks for delivery ...... 🖕Lowes
First off I go to lowes alot. And generally have a decent experience. This time I went to buy a new mailbox. Well I found the one I wanted and took literally 20 or more minutes to get someone to get it down. The first person I found wouldnt get up to help. He pointed at another employee and said Ask him...hes just talking to another employee turns out the guy he was talking to was an employee on his day off. Basically pretending to be helping a customer to not be asked for help. Then I got my mailbox and proceeded to check out. Got to the car and looked at the receipt and it was almost 15 more than what it said on the shelf. Went back in and went to take a picture of the price and noticed the name was not the same as on my box. Went to customer service and stood there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Finally the customer service rep comes over and ask what my problem is. I explained I got that mailbox because of the look/price. But was charged more. Showed the picture and asked why the name was different. Was told they dont carry that one anymore and this one was new. I said but its labeled this price. She said well I was charged the actual price so there was nothing to be done. I told her to change the price on the shelf. And she said Yeah Ill get someone to do it then walked off. Waited around half an hour went and looked no change to the display. Pure Bait and Switch.....Ill keep my business to the Bryan location. Employees are much friendlier. Was charged $51 for something I thought was $38.
My husband and I want to give a shout-out to a Lowe’s employee named LANDON, who went out of his way today to provide my husband with excellent customer care. My husband parked his truck pretty far from the nearest cart rack and when Landon saw him start to make his way across the parking lot to return the cart, Landon ran across the parking lot to take the cart from my husband and see if he could assist my husband with anything else. Thank you, Landon. It’s so nice to interact with people who prioritize meeting the needs of customers and are willing to offer a helping hand.
Extremely disappointed! We ordered a freezer from Lowes, paid for delivery and haul away of our existing freezer. We we’re extremely pleased when we we’re informed that it would be delivered on Thursday 10/21/21. We then received an email stating that our local Lowes was out of stock, even though we we’re told there were two in stock. The email stated that the freezer was going to be delivered from the Houston Lowes on Friday 10/29/21 between 8:00 - 8:00. We received another email on Thursday 10/28/21 informing us that the delivery time was now Friday 10/29/21 between 11:30 - 3:30. We waited until 3:15, called the number listed and was told that Lowes canceled the order. We we’re not informed of the cancellation until we called them. The cancellation was due to non in stock and they wouldn’t have any until December. We understand that shipments can get delayed but have the common courtesy to inform your customer.
I frequent this Lowes because of its proximity to my home. It is always so clean! I love bringing my dog here (theyre nice-dog-friendly) and its perfect for training him. Hes not a service animal, so I cant bring him in most places. Lowes is the perfect place to train him to be good while Im shopping.They almost always have exactly what I need, and their app is super easy to use. It tells me which aisle things should be found, and its always been right so far!Customer service is also really nice. We needed to return a few items after receiving them from our wedding, and it was extremely easy even though we didnt have our receipts. They were able to find it based on phone numbers, which really helped.I highly recommend this location.
I have to say I bought some cinnamon basil from Lowes 4 years ago and it keeps coming back even with the cold and it doesnt matter it comes back and makes more theyre meant to stay same thing for spearmint and green leaf basil pretty awesome Lowes pretty awesome. No Greenhouse out in the open it gets shade and sunlight. Water thats it also I dont know if it means anything to people but seems like the Flowmasters and the little rubber grommets and flat for your toilet. Lasting longer than Walmart and Home Depot just putting it out there. Just my opinion thanks lowe,s
Had to place an emergent appliance order over the phone. The woman who placed my order was incredibly helpful and had exceptional customer service. She even called to follow up regarding delivery instructions. Appliances were delivered and installed quickly (within two days of order). Would order from this location again.
Im not happy. I was basically ghosted by customer service reps. Hardly anyone was in there and there was only one person waiting to be loaded. No offers of help. Nobody asked, or even offered to get back with me. They kept walking back and forth past me. The very kind cashier apologized. It was not her fault. I was loading 15 cinder blocks that were stacked really high. No worries, I did it myself, and put them in my truck. I would have had better luck witnessing Santa Clause land in the parking lot, than having one of those guys help me.
Where do I start. The flooring dept. oh goodness. We easily ordered our carpet through Marylin. We ordered wood floors and carpet a MONTH in advance. We came from out of state to help our daughter redo flooring.Getting it installed was a nightmare. The installers showed up with 10 minutes to spare in the window of time, worked 45 minutes and left for two hours, came back and took forever to install flooring. Would not work with us to do the carpet. We had to wait three more days to get carpet installed. The day they were to show, no carpet was installed. We were told the next day they would come. Nope, didnt happen again. The scheduler quit communicating with us. After day three of no carpet, we ask for our money back. John, the supervisor was extremely rude about having to refund $4,000. My husband went to pick up the receipt and John held the receipt above the desk and let it drop. We will never do business with Lowes and the flooring dept again. Went to Aggieland Carpet and perfect service. Was told they have had at least 10 customers dissatisfied with Lowes flooring over the past month. DONT USE!
I have not had a better experience when dealing with appliances. But I have had the worst experience dealing with their carpet installers. After being rescheduled twice (one of which was the morning of), they no called no showed on the third time. Then randomly showed up the next day after I called customer service to complain. I thought Lowes fixed the problem, but they only made it worse. The demo crews came in and left our house and driveway a mess and oil leaked from their truck all over the drive. Then found out that they never scheduled the carpet install, just the demo. So now I dont have any floors in the house and they cant schedule me for carpet for another week. Overall, a horrible experience. Use a local contractor, dont bother with lowes. The appearance of convenience will soon prove wrong.
Customer support at this store was nice but they services they claim to offer are a joke, the associates don’t know anything about the section they are assigned to and the saws to cut wood and glass are always “broken”. A lame excuse to not help service. Home Depot is and will always be superior.
This is my favorite Lowe’s to attend, I love the garden center! Usually the staff is super helpful but I was struggling to get some of there attention. fortunately I met the most pleasant older woman I believe her name was Pam, she helped me so much and we had a lovely conversation, Excellent customer service.
Have always loved this store, I love looking at the different varieties of home improvement items they sell. I got a bunch of garden tools and everything I needed to maintain our property.Of all things I couldn’t find a short screwdriver so I could change a part out in my truck. They only had long ones. I found it elsewhere eventually.
The website said they have 15 grills of the model I wanted. There three outside, sitting in the rain and all in dust. I asked for another one and the lady at the register snarled at me this is all they have. I said the website says there are 15, she asked a guy passing nearby and he said we have none in boxes. Then she continued with the attitude and mumbled I told you so. I said I dont want one in box, just one that has not been sitting outside for weeks. Turned out they have 10+ in the back and another staff member helped me with it.
We have been doing curbside every time we need anything from a large store lately. It has been a pretty easy pickup and payment process. Today at Lowe’s we didn’t notice our order hadn’t fully been set for pickup. Some of the items were shipped to our home I guess. When we arrived we only received one item at the store. Their employee Cassidy went in and checked over everything and offered assistance in getting the items that were in store to us and cancelling them from shipping to our home. So we can get done today what we had planned to accomplish. We are very thankful for your help Cassidy! Exceptional customer service.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Terrible communication skills, incompetent employees for a custom job. I can only blame myself for trusting a large chain store to provide personal service even when Im paying a premium for it. Pay more and use a local company for custom installations. Itll save you a lot of headaches.
Tried to buy a cart full of lumber and plywood this afternoon. Wanted one sheet of plywood cut with their in house panel saw. Finally found someone to help only to be laughed at and told the saw is down but we can sell you one. I don’t know if he was trying to be funny or just a smart a$$. Not sure what this guy was thinking but certainly wasn’t apologetic . I have had good experiences with the garden center at this location but this is the 3rd bad experience with building materials. I am done with this location, guess it’s back to Home Depot or McCoys.
I appreciate the employees who work here. I have found them to be knowledgeable and always willing to help. I had questions about a shower head and also a dishwasher. Both employees helped answer those questions and I purchased both items. Thanks for your continued support of our community.
I couldnt find anybody to help me and when I could they could not find it or anything I asked I was also out outside looking for some dark they had on sale I had to show them the picture on the big sign out in front of the whole business they still couldnt find it finally I asked somebody are they found somebody else to ask he couldnt find it that well I guess were just sold out these people couldnt find anything you asked for in the store I dont know what they were even doing there what a and this was all ikey also I went looking for a key the computer said they had to but they couldnt find it take about 45 minutes this place was an absolute wreck
Sean M. In the appliances section was super helpful! He spent a lot of time explaining all the different options for the refrigerators and got me the right one needed for my new house. Add on the memorial day sales and you wont find a better place to shop. I would highly recommend this Lowes for appliances
Went to the other DIY store and staff was pretty down, not helpful - complaining. Okay I get it theyre under duress.Whoa, what a difference at Lowes!! Staff was friendly, helpful - they were even subbing in different departments to assist shoppers!We were waited on by a very pleasant man named JD. He heard the page go out for electrical a few times and came to help us with our wire order. They dont get any better than JD. Huge thanks sgain JD, you made our day!!We did get in touch with the lone electrical team member, he assisted us with the remainder of our large order. He was also very nice. I missed getting his name.Also missed getting the name of the young man who loaded our vehicle. He was amazingly patient and friendly!!Love yall at Lowes!!
I arrived at 9:30 am on a Tuesday. Garden center doors were not open. So I walked around through the store. Inconvenient but no big deal. Loaded up my 6 big bags of soil and mulch onto the big bulky cart. Piled up some fence boards. Went to the checkout at the garden center and nobody was there and gate was still closed. No problem. Left my heavy cart by the checkout and popped inside to ask one of the dozen employees nearby if someone could check me out at the garden center. I was told no. They wanted me to haul the heavy bulky cart inside through the store. I decided to leave because I didnt want the mulch as much as they apparently did. I went to Home Depot and the gates were open, I was greeted with a smile, prices were 15% cheaper and best of all I was checked out in Garden center. Guess I will be going to where they appreciate my business from now on.
I tried to return a Tufts and Needle mattress I had bought from Lowes at this store and was treated very rudely by the lady in the returns section. She initially refused to even look at the mattress despite the fact that I had a receipt clearly stating I could return it within 90 days for a full refund. Although I tried to explain the situation patiently she kept talking over me and making up rules like well have to charge you a $200 restocking fee or this mattress technically qualifies as an appliance so you only have 60 days to return it. I called the corporate help line for Lowes who backed me up that none of these things were true but I had to get a manager involved before they refunded me. The whole process could have taken 5 minutes but ended up taking almost an hour and all because one employee couldnt be bothered.
ONE word - TERRIBLE!!!!!! always take so long to check out. it has to be the biggest joke - they have so many employees always running around but their checkout area never have enough ppl, only a few cash registers are open always, last time it took us 20+ mins to check out. horrible ! will defiantly be avoiding going here in the future.
Thought I had found a good store for landscaping materials, but today had an experience that indicates that some of the employees have zero respect or appreciation for their customers. I got charged $60 more due to an error. Took the new employee five minutes to see his mistake. This happened in the lawn & garden checkout and this guy told me I had to haul my cart with 10 bags of dirt and several plants to customer service. The lady at customer service didn’t care at all, and seemed to think it was fine to expect me to go to customer service with a 200 lb cart to correct an employee’s overcharging me. Then I had to get the refund in cash or else wait two weeks. Just terrible customer service, and they don’t care. I remember the days companies would compensate you for things like this, but didn’t even get my Gatorade comped. I’ve probably spent $5k here the past year, but no more. Don’t give them your money.
Do not give your credit card information when ordering appliances. They were able to charge my card full price for the appliances that I bought on sale. Then when I called corporate they said the only way I can get a refund is by driving to a store that is 2 hours away from me. So I did that, still no refund. 4 hours and a full tank of gas later. On top of that my dishwasher isnt hooked up correctly and neither is my washing machine they still havent sent anyone out to hook it up correctly.
GREAT!!! 5 STAR$!!!I needed 22- 2x4x12 treated, 9- 4x4x16 , 3- 4x4x12 all treated lumber(heavy) and 27- 80lb. Bags of redi-crete, not one, but two very polite and cordial young and healthy men helped me load up my cart, then my trailer. Thanks and a shout out to Sam and Curt? I apologize if that 2nd name isnt correct. I was in and out pretty fast. Thank you, Lowes Home Improvement.
My favorite home improvement store!!! It is close to my subdivision, has everything needed and the customer service assistants are very helpful. Today I was seeking a ladder and was directed to Aisle 14 or 15. Found it exactly were I was told. I bought the 6ft one with platform steps for $65.00. The 8ft one was on sale for less but was more than I needed.
Smaller than the Bryan location and therefore has less selection in stock. Good for quick supplies and convenience. Some issues with lost orders and reselling my items to other customers (while going to get the truck), but they did good by making the situation right in the end.
The young gentleman working in the door-and-frame department—with experience in carpentry and construction—was the best combination of knowledgeable and helpful. With exactly the right amount of detail, he instructed me how to install my door with a invaluable tip on customizing to fit my situation. Ive had similar experiences in plumbing with associates who were obviously skilled in that trade.
I’ve bought so many plants from this Lowe’s. I remember once I walked in 10 minutes before close on a Sunday evening for some soil. Of course I ended up picking up a ew unexpected plants along the way. Two employees came to my rescue and helped me carry everything to the checkout and then to the car because I forgot to get a buggy. They were so helpful even though I walked in so late. A+!
Well, I had to give 1 star to even leave a review otherwise I would given no stars !We have been using this store since they opened. Recently we have had a super hard time trying to return a few small items for store credit. We couldnt find our receipt but they said it was their items (Surprise surprise) Cant return without a receipt or because of our drivers license is connected to any returns we have brought back. So, beware if this is true. This is for any items any price??...$5.00 or $300.00 item. We are not even getting store credit for our $6.00 (3)=$18.00. What if this was a $200.00 item. No reciept no return. You are stuck with their item you cant use. They told us our plumbing itmes can be stolen. I told them we are not asking for cash so we can go get ice ceeam or something. We need to fix our plunbing. Now we are thieves? They have the original bar in the bags. How would I get out of the store without those things setting off buzzers? Obviously we paid for them. These are also only $5 or $6 each and we had 5 to return for store credit so we could fix a water leak before it froze. We went home to dig out all our old receipts that night and take what we found back the next morning. She found 2 of the 5 items. They credited them back to our card. Three are still here and they refuse to give store credit. Not only do they refuse but the manager, Joe could not have been more rude by ignoring us, and treating us like we were stealing from them. Well, I can say that Home Depot has never be rude, ugly, or told us to take our business somewhere else. Just to say...most of our appliances have come from Lowes the last 20+ years and we own three places! With that being said...Home Depot, HERE WE COME! Id pay full price anywhere else than get anything else from Lowes ever again. BEWARE OF THEIR NEW RULES. Go to check out Home Depot and see their friendly service and how their return system works and learn from the best.
Was at your garden center checkout today at 5:56pm. Was told it was closed & I would have to carry heavy bag of potting soul to front checkout as the garden center was closing. Did not do!! I’m 72 & just moved here to retire. I probably have $ 7,000 to $10,000worth of items to buy to improve my retirement home!IT WONT BE FROM LOWES!! 😂
Twice we have been into this store to buy blinds for our new house. First time they lady who helped us explained she did not normally do blinds and we needed to come back. Second time ( At the time and date the first lady suggested ) we stood in the blinds area for 10 min listening to the buzzer go off. Special assistants needed in the blind cutter area. No one came. Guess your busy enough that you dont need to sale blinds. Tho the cashier on the way out was way to busy joking with her co-worker to hear my disappointment.
Needed carpet installed in our rental house. Although I cant say much about the other help, which in the store they were not very helpful (new guy). When I headed back to Katy and needed to do the sale over the phone, the one Sales Specialist I need to point out is Damion Andrade. He stayed with me over the phone for hours to finish getting our order in to get the project started asap AND to get my military discount. He is the ONLY one I have been in contact with the few other times I had to call to get a new estimate and he is the best!!
I wont even give them one star for the Lowes in Bryan, Tex worse place I have been too. They have to many incompetent employees there. Went to get a washing machine picked two I liked Bennie came back n told me they had 3 of each one so picked one went to go pay for it had my husband come from work to pick it up they had us waiting for an hour n told us they didnt have any. Had to get refund. Drove over to the Lowes in College Station. Pick out the same one I was to get at the Bryan store ... Well college Station didnt have any but was told Bryan had acouple of the same one I was supposed to get in the first place. What a hassle never again will I buy from the Lowes in Bryan, Texas go to HOME DEPOT BETTER SERVICE THERE!!!
I will never shop this Lowe’s store again! I purchased a grill for my husband on Labor Day and wanted the free assembly. So I went in the next day for pick up and they sold it! The grill I had already paid for!!!So the manager Daniel said he would give me a different grill and have it assembled and ready for pickup on 9/11.... Well that did not happen, no grill assembled for us, nada!!! We finally got some one that was competent, his name was Daleon(?) he assembled it and had it ready for pickup the next day 9/12. 10 days later for a grill 😬. Tobi the customer service lady was very rude as well. Don’t spend your hard earned money at the Lowe’s in College Station!!!
I needed info on mounting my garbage disposal in my granite sink. Both of which I purchased from this store. There wasnt anyone working in the plumbing. Another employee tried to help, but he wasnt able to. I stopped shopping at Home Depot because of bad customer service years ago. Maybe I need to give them a try again.
The level of incompetence and complete disregard for customers is astonishing. If you live in South College Station, the other hardware store is worth the drive... Not carrying basic hardware items seems to be a regular occurrence. Selling items without Hardware. You can wonder a section for 10-15 minutes without finding help.
This location (near the water tower in South College Station) is hit and miss for me. There have been times where I need to ask an employee for help finding a particular item and theres no one around to ask. Other times there are an abundance. The selection is generally good, but I have been left wanting when needing certain tools.
Ordered a power washer on the 27th and said I can pick it up at the store on the 2nd well went on the 2nd no pressure washer was told will be in that afternoon. Well went back on the 4th to allow time to make sure it came in.. again told it just shipped .. DONT ORDER FROM LOWES.. I WILL BUY FROM AMAZON FROM NOW ON
You can not get out of this place. They have about 10 check out lanes and only one is ever open. There are two self service check out machines, but one is out of order and has been for a while. Really frustrating. They need to staff appropriately, so that you can actually check out in a reasonable amount of time.
Went there with my Veterans ID to be able to get a 10% discount on a few items I needed for the house. Was told it wasnt honored at that location. When told that the Bryan Lowes as well as the College Station Home Depot both did it the cashier laughed and said that we should go shop there then. She didnt stop there, she then went on a vocal rant about how you veterans think youre so special expecting stuff like this. Sorry but with attitudes like that Ill drive the extra distance to give business to your competitors. Will never shop here again.
DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE!!You will never see them. You have to constantly hound the delivery team to try to get updates on deliveries, only to find out there are delays they should have know about and relayed to you. Ive been waiting on a fridge for three months that Home Depot or Best Buy could have delivered within a week. Dont purchase from here unless you want to have your time wasted.
Terrible customer service. Terrible delivery service. Terrible communication. Terrible effort. Terrible organization.Or, I just found out my fridge is 2 weeks late and no one told me (shouldve been delivered today) . My floors shouldve been installed yesterday, instead they also will arrive a week late. And Ive had to talk to at least 3 people to get updates on my orders at any given time, mostly they just cant find my order thanks to what must be the worst order processing system in N. America.
Great, friendly staff, most of whom are very helpful. Its an overall clean store compared to other lowes or home depots that I have shopped at. Ive never really had an issue finding anything here, but if I do, the staff is usually very helpful & can also help order things that may not be part of regular store stock. The lowes app is a good tool as well, it can help with finding items & even pinpoints the location on the store map, however, the stock count on it is not always exactly accurate. I guess it just depends on how often it reupdates. But this is a great store overall, and Ive been happy with my experiences here thus far .
We made an appointment with Holly the bathroom designer. She called and said that unless we are spending $10,000 she didnt have time for us. She also said that the contractors wouldnt want to use the showers tubs that Lowes has on the shelves. We were also going to have new carpet installed, about 600 sq ft worth. But now we are going else where. I called the manager, Tyler and he didnt care.
Worst customer experience here!!!!! There is absolutely no communication between the departments at Lowes - making it an absolute headache for the customer. The staff also has horrible attitude even when they are the ones messing up repeatedly. Never use lowes delivery unless you want to spend your time wanting to pound your head against a brick wall. Absolute worst possible customer experience ever.
Frequently struggle to get assistance at this store. Very seldom get an unsolicited offer for assistance and usually from an older employee. Loaded 12 2x10x12 by myself with employees watching me. Expected my wife to load 8 bags concrete mix by herself. Overall employees dont know enough to be helpful anyway. Exception is the guy who sells doors, who is very knowledgable and courteous. Check your items for barcodes and take a picture of the item number if it doesnt have one. No price checks here. Am told by a manager that checkers cannot leave registers and they are not encouraged to learn the merchandise. Most often they have not been able to look up an item by description in the computer. Checker will give you a blank stare without a barcode. I only go back because of the location. Managements expectations are Lowe. If you use this store, keep your expectations Lowe, too. Much prefer the folks at McCoys, second Home Depot, but both are less convenient for me.
This is my Lowes of choose in BCS the only reason I dont give 5 stars is because any time I try and call store and want to talk to someone in an department 80% of the time no one in that department will be available. Over all most if the time they will have what you need.
Poor customer service Ive had in a while. Made a return for my employer, with the receipt and they tore open the box and made me feel like I was obligated to keep something we clearly was not happy with. I shopped anyway and got a few small things and after paying was chased down for further inspection of my bags and receipt. Will never do business there again.
If you want something they dont have in the store, go home and oder it online!EVERYTIME Ive ordered something there they screw it up. Then trying to get someone to answer the phone that knows anything is virtually impossible. Transfer you from one department to another then hang up on you without ever answering the phone. Say, theyll check on it and call you back but dont. Absolutely the worst managed Lowes Ive ever delt with!
I went in to get a key in a car fob cut. They do cut automotive keys. Waited at the counter for about 7 minutes. Finally tracked down someone to page someone else to come help. He arrives and tells me they cannot cut the key because of policy. Their machine will cut it they just wont do it.
If not for Renees persistence on a potential custom curtain request (that didnt pan out) and Tracies friendliness at the Online Service desk, I would have rated my experience even worse. I ordered online, got an email that it was ready... You know where Im going with this right? Was it that difficult? Just follow the simple list, nothing too complicated.
Steve, in the Doors and Windows dept., was very helpful today. He was friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. He spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions, even though we told him we were only looking today and not ready to make a purchase. We will certainly look for him when we return to make our purchase. He also told us about the free My Lowes program, which we will certainly use.
Normal visit have been great, this visit we need to jump over and under thing s making this quite undesirable. We need a hot water heater installed, going thru Lowes and one of their pros has proven to be a big paperwork shuffle and no real progress with any of this. For home repairs this has been our biggest hassle, stay local hire your own people stay clear of the pros
Employee was less than freindly , had wood cut, employee totally messed up the second shelf I was having cut. When I addressed it he said oh well . I told the front end leader as he rang me up that this was a total waste due to the wood being cut wrong and his response was oh thats too bad,sorry bout that.I now see why that store is always near empty!
Very very horrble.I came in to buy a new stove for my home at 6:30 pm. There were only two people who was speaking to other customer. Neither one of them ask us for help. So me and my wife stood therer and waiting. But was never help. So now i will have to take my business somewhere and buy a stove since that lowes in collegestation tx on William d Fitch rd. Do not know anything are problely did get any training in customer sevice.
Had a washer and dryer delivered to our home in Brenham yesterday. The delivery guys Tyronne Mitchell & Irvin Alfaro were very helpful and kind. We were having a problem with an electrical outlet and they waited until we had a proper connection and able to test both units.
Friendly service but its hard to find people, sometimes items arent in the logical places or in the right bins (or extra products are moved into the space of a similar sold out product and it wont get ordered), and there are tons of items that Ive needed - usually hardware of some dirty - and they dont carry it or anything i can use as a replacement
If I can give 0 stars I will!!!! I went to the store last Friday and bought 2 door bells, AFTER checking out they said they dont have any in stock. After looking in their system they tell me they have 3 coming in on Sunday. On Monday morning when I called them they said they have not come in yet and they will call me when it comes in, on Monday afternoon when I called they said it came in but its not stocked yet . On Tuesday, they still say its not stocked yet and that it should be stocked by the night shift. On Wednesday, they say that it hasnt even been SHIPPED YET, that 3 are still ON ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a complete waste of time and energy! and NO ONE THERE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was very disappointed with this Lowes location. The paint I purchased was a Lowes exclusive which stated so on the can. The can was promised a one coat coverage and up to 400 sq feet. It was not able to do either so I returned to Lowes to seek a solution. I first spoke with the associate in the painting department, who didnt offer a solution to my issue other than buy more paint and that the brand I already purchased was the best they offered. Stumped, i went to Walmart to see if they carried a brand i knew worked well, they sent me out the door with the closest color match they offered, however upon entering the half painted room i realized that the color match wouldnt suffice, so i returned the already tinted paint to Walmart, issue free. Heading back to Lowes i spoke with the customer service rep who told me that the only thing i could do would be to contact the manufacture. When i pointed out that on the can was printed: if you are unsatisfied, return to store for a refund or replacement. The rep then called the manager who over the phone explained that they could do nothing on a store level and it was up to the customer to call the manufacture, which keep in mind is a Lowes brand. After purchasing an additional can i asked to speak with the manager. Jeff then approached me and explained everything again. His exact response was We cant do anything at a store level, we arent even supposed to take returns on tinted paint. When i responded with If there is nothing you can do to help me today, i regret to tell you that i will be selecting Home Depot instead. Jeffs response was a simple lift of the arms and a shrug of the shoulders. Having work in customer service for a while now i was disgusted with this locations lack of assistance and simple desire to help the customer. I am sticking to my word (and also preaching it now) that Home Depot is a superior location for customer satisfaction.
We called Palestine for an inground pump and they told us College Station had three of them we called and did not get the gentlemans name but he was very helpful and he did what he said he was going to put the pump up front and customer service we got there about 1 for that gentleman that helped us in plumbing we sure want to thank you very much for honoring your word a lot of places say they do it but they dont again thank you
A man (he claimed his name was Jason) who is over unloading and restocking items from the delivery trucks that come in at night. Called me around 2am this Morning, waking not just myself, husband and OUR NEWBORN up. Starting the conversation off being EXTREMELY RUDE not once even offering an apology for doing so, after he finally stopped saying “Did I say you can talk” the whole time hearing the baby screaming, and who his childish self stopped to take a breath I quickly asked who are you looking for? When he said the name, and I told him he had the wrong number. then realized “opps wrong number” kicked in. And proceeded to then hang up on me when I asked what his supervisors/bosses name is! Needless to say I’m going up tomorrow to have a chat with whoever runs this place!!!
Unpleasant! First went to Lowes in Bryan, TX looking for a freezer which they didnt have one. I ask to call other store in College Station TX and asked for someone to put their eyes on the freezer I was looking for and confirm they did have it in stock. Once I arrive at the store and asked to speak to the person who was on the phone that confirm that she did have it and ends up no they did not. Employees there are worse than Walmart never their when you need help and dont know anything. Very unhappy!!
Irritated that cashier in garden center asked me to leave my cart with 2 huge bags of potting soil inside while I shopped the flowers outside. Not only could I not put stuff on my cart after browsing I came back to get it and it was gone. Just really Irritated that I spent 45 minutes and walked out empty handed. Thanks cashier Blondie for the wasted time
Its so nice to do something SO easy--Im positively positive I had a great shopping experience at College Station Lowes. I was on my way to CS from the landfill when I spied the store. I thought: Why wait! Lowes is where you need to shop and here it is. Get what you need NOW?So, I stopped. The lady gave great advice for doing my project; the man directed me to nails that wouldnt jam my nailer when I got home.I left a happy camper. By stopping at Lowes CS, I got my heavy duty shopping behind me!
Short woman working at the plumbing is a racist I think. I asked for help for about four five times. She kept ignoring me right on the face to go help other people. Other people didnt even show up until 4th time I asked for help. No help sorry Im busy or anything else for that matter. Just pure ignorance.
No body to help you to find things quicker ( all those people in there who have no customer service attitude...they should be working some where else ...they all act like they are busy!! Yeah busy gossiping about their life instead to focus in customers ..heads up **we make your checks **when we buy

2021-05-15The Lowe’s management team in College Station TX is the absolute best I have ever met! From the time that we were trying to buy a large item and deliver into our house, Scott (store manager) and Aurelio (manager) helped us through the entire process. They personally committed to helping deliver a 1000 pound item. I was amazed that they asked if they could come to our house in advance and survey before delivery. Then, Scott and Aurelio returned to our house for the delivery. Both of them, Jacob (from Lake Jackson), and one other gentlemen (I am so sorry that I cannot remember his name) maneuvered the large object using a pallet jack into my home. Awesome customer service!! I am so impressed and highly recommend this store, their management team, and helpers. I recommend everyone buy all of their needs from this particular Lowe’s store. BEST IN CLASS!!!!

2022-06-29DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES FROM LOWE’S IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO RECEIVE THEM. This experience was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The delivery people lied about delivering our washer, stating that they stood in front of our door to attempt delivery for 15-20 minutes and knocked multiple times, when in reality we have a video doorbell and know this is false. They then left and refused to respond to any phone calls. We had to reschedule delivery and go another week with no washer/dryer, incurring unforeseen laundromat fees. The second time they delivered the washer/dryer, the washer was BROKEN!!! Severely dented and didn’t work. Then when the broken washer was taken back to Lowe’s, I had to pay for a new one, and had to call on FOUR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS to fight to have my $600 for the broken washer refunded because “they forgot.” It wound up taking almost a month and a half from start to finish, a MASSIVE headache, and countless phone calls to actually get the appliances I paid for. I would never recommend anyone to order an appliance from Lowe’s because this is truly the worst customer experience I have ever had.

No problem after leaving Lowes in Bryan because they said they could not load the mower and lost out and a big sale and customer !

2022-06-26Bought a Lowes blue bucket w/lid. Proceeded to put boiling water in it and promptly secure the lid. I then aggressively shook it only to have the lid violently explode in my face. 10/10 would recommend this location.

2022-06-13We are remodeling our whole house and went into lowes with a simple plumbing question. Immediately Judy had the worst attitude when we asked for help and spoke to my husband and me like we were stupid. If this is how customers are treated we won’t be returning.

2022-05-08Awesome place service is great especially the one in Bryan Texas only thing is that the handicapped motor carts are not sufficient they need at least 6 more at this store hard to find one to do your shopping.
