Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
I like how personable, warm, friendly, and empathetic my cashier, Vivian was with me. I’m going through some life stuff and she expressed genuine care. Really I could go to A competitor just as easy amd I won’t because of little things like that which make my Lowe’s experience fulfilling.
Loews should Contact their cutter mosquitoe brand or pull them from self I usually buy that Brand cutter spray on mosquitoes spray i even asked a lowes worker he said all the bottles came that way from the supplier half full so I said I would not get the cutter mosquitoes spray for that reason why would anyone buy a bottle of cutter mosquitoes spray half full. Aug 21 update still no change still half full but looks like no one is buying the cutter mosquitoes spray no surprise to me
Chak Hill Lowes ,sold me a gazebo ,one bench, had to go look around other Lowes to get a table,no one has the fan or table .Per manager they can not order it for me ,they dont do that 😞.We went to a few Lowes only Wheatland and Hampton offered to order for me .I have no computer .I will go to them again ..I have spent close to 1,500.00 and still spending .Its hard for me because I have 2 broken feet .I really hope Im ready for Easter that was my surprise for them .I Did go back to Chak Hill finally got my table ,but no help to put it in my car ,I pushed it out myself ,Thank you God !! And a lady and man helped me put it in my car ,Thank you Jesus ! Still waiting on 1 bench and the fan 🙏I hope someone can help me get it done . I dont think Ill ever do this again .😞it was very painful for me .
A big thank you to Roberto and Sigi for all of their help loading our materials tonight and for teaching us how do use our straps to tie them down. They were so friendly and happy to help and did not seem put out by assisting us like so many employees these days. 2 top notch employees!!
This Store has the friendliest and helpful staff in town. I have yet to experience anything but courtesy, professionalism, and a drive to help me with whatever challenging question or task I may have. I Love the ever expanding Craftsman lineup that they feature here at Lowe’s. A great tool at a great value!
I always genuinely love my time at this store. It’s always clean. They always have a great selection of whatever you need. Shelves are always stocked. People are very nice. The girl at the register nonchalantly sold me on an item because she heard me mutter that I needed it, forgot it, and didn’t want to get it under my breath; and I’m glad she did. When I bought paint for my place last summer, the paint specialist made sure that the project was a success, not just with materials needed, but with color choices and accent colors. I genuinely think it wouldn’t have worked had it not been for him. (Side note: he was a retired color specialist with an extensive career in developing colors for paints and various other materials. What a gem of a guy and someone you wouldn’t come across many other places and basically acted as a minimized interior decorator.)Anyway, Home Depot is great and they have what you need and so does Lowe’s, but it’s not as aesthetically pleasing as or well run as Lowe’s. Specifically this one at Lemmon and Inwood. Stellar. Thanks guys!!
Customer Service has certainly changed in our society especially in major retailers when everything is literally self service.. Therefore when great service is given it should be praised. My fiance and I were looking for a hardware piece to finish assembling our furniture and had gone to multiple stores like Home Depot and decided to try Lowes. After experiencing sales associates from other stores that knew nothing about hardware we decided not to call anyone over when we arrived at Lowes. We figuredbwe could figure it out better ourselves. Well a salesperson named Chris actually came up and asked if we needed any assistance and was tremendously helpful. I asked him if he worked assembling products and he said, no, he has worked in the department for a while andover time learned it. I felt the need to praise this individual because our experience today was with people that worked in the hardware department and knew nothing. He was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions because the store didnt carry the exact part that we needed. We need more people who work in specific departments to have product knowledge to better assist the customers rather than showing up to receive a paycheck only and not having a clue about anything.
I had to hold on the phone for over 30 minutes to talk to someone about my order. I ended up hanging up and calling back and got put back on hold. Will never order anything from Lowes again. Suggest you do not either if you want to be able to talk to someone about your order without going into the store.
I have never been into a bad Lowes, but this Lowes sits at the top of the list when it comes to customer service. Norman is an absolute GEM!!!! Hes extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Props to Lowes for hiring such a great customer service representative! Thank you, Norman, for all your help. It is greatly appreciated.
The garden section needed some upkeep but had a great variety. I saw a few people that needed help and had to look for someone. They said it was hard to hunt someone down. We wanted to pick up a few things but couldnt find them. It was taking us too long so we just left. Other than that it was a nice time getting out of the house.
The lady that helped us with picking out the blinds, I will give her 5 stars. She was friendly, smiled & very helpful! The male workers and male cashier is the reason Im giving a 2. Rude and not helpful at all!!!!👎 One male worker kept walking looking up & down turning his head at our cart, making sure we know...as if we going to take something. Get this, we are already in line at the cashier ready for checkout. Next in line. I found him to be hilarious too funny poor lil guy. 😹😹 The other guy standing like hes on guard just in case. 😳😹😹😹The cashier couldve been less talkative to the customer before us & more customer friendly. I see but I totally ignore ignorance & just never shop there again. Spent almost $150 but never again.
I purchased a dishwasher online, it said there were six of the appliances in stock at the store. There were not. The dishwasher had to be special ordered and arrived at the store a week later. They scheduled the delivery for the subsequent week. That day came and went and no one delivered the appliance. I called and they said that the appliance had been missed placed, and I would receive a call back later to reschedule. Three weeks and still no dishwasher, and no apologies.
This Lowes changed delivery times on me without notifying me. The people who work there have no control over delivery times and claim they will try to help but either they are unable to or they dont try. If you want to live without a fridge for weeks on end order from this Lowes.
We got there there was no line that was outstanding. Second several of the items I went there to buy they did not have including air filters for Gods sake who or what improvement store doesnt have air filters..I also needed parts for a lamp that I was building, I asked for the employees if they had this item and they had no clue what I was even talking about much less whether they had the item or not. So I went to the aisle where the lamps were left parts rather and I found the item right away but the employee had no idea what I was even talking about Thats not a well-trained employee. on a positive note I was able to get the tool that Ive been wanting to buy for years. So I was happy about that
It’s absolutely impossible to get any decent customer service these days without having to go track down an associate, then have them to call someone to work in that department, then wait patiently as to being that more than likely that they are working multiple departments. But to get exceptional customer service is a rarity these days. This day in question I had to go to three different Lowe’s locations, without going into great detail of my extreme disappointment and frustration. I ultimately ended up at the Dallas lemon location to which I was helped by and associate Adel. This young man not only was patient ,understanding ,accommodating , knowledgeable, he went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied consumer while also interacted with professionalism towards other customers waiting for service. WOW!! What an awesome associate. Adel thank you so much! You are awesome!!
Organized and clean for the most part. Employees friendliness is great more often than not, although finding people for help and guidance is usually difficult. Many products not available at this store (says online only), but yet the same products are available in other stores in Dallas 🤷🏽♂️
The staff there are so helpful. I went to the paint department and the young brother was helpful, I was in the house plants department and the older gentleman was so helpful putting my look together (I think his name was Barry).... Anyway just glad my neighborhood Lowes has great employees that know what theyre doing.
Honestly you can go to any other lowes in the area and it would be a lot better. The aisle are always blocked by pallets of stuff that make it difficult to shop if you need something down that particular aisle. The attitude of the store is 50/50. Meaning that depending on the associates youll either have someone very friendly and helpful or they just give you a generic answer and little to no help. Management is no different. Would definitely be better off going to any other store locations were Ive definitely had better experiences. That or just go to the home depot.
My company is here to help with the work needed to recover from the freeze. I needed a large amount of trash bags but they were all on the shelves. Carey and Issac were more than willing to help me get them purchased and in the truck. It was very much appreciated as in these situations time is very limited. Well done Carey and Issac .
This Lowe’s is one of the worse experiences that I have encountered. Took 20 mins to get assistance and then they didn’t seem to try very hard to try and help find a solution for being out of stock on promotion that I called about and was told before driving to location that they had in stock. I would have paid over the phone but have had issues with getting money back after finding out that the store didn’t even have item in stock. I am almost to the point of taking my business elsewhere to place where when employees say it is in stock that it is there when I arrive. Or will refund money if paid over phone if item is not available.
Easily the worst customer experience possible. You have to track someone down for help, if you get someone you better hope theyre in a good mood. Pregnant wife and I stood in the appliances section for 20 minutes while associates washed directly past us without acknowledging us. Finally tracked someone down who was reluctant to help (even though we knew what we wanted and literally just needed him to ring us up). They scheduled our delivery incorrectly and then the day they rescheduled for correctly, theyre not showing up or picking up the phone. How does the store not pick up the phone?!
I hate leaving bad reviews. But wow, I get it, you are short staffed. As a manager, teach different trades to other team members. You handicap your store by not having utility team players. If the guy that cuts wood is off get another team member. Keep one member on the team at all times ready to help. Manager if you are paged to a location, make it a priority, dont call, and ask what do you need. Just go
I used to go to Home Depot for all of my gardening, woodworking, house project needs. Then I moved and there was a Lowe’s across the street from Home Depot. So when Home Depot didn’t have what I needed, I would just cross the street to Lowe’s. Now I save myself the headache and just start out at Lowe’s! This location has super helpful staff. I’m often trying to build something with plans I found online - or strip paint from furniture that has so many layers only God can keep count. Lowe’s staff has always pulled through with a product recommendation and one employee even helped me brainstorm an indoor watering system for houseplants (I used to travel for work). If you ask someone a question and they can’t answer, they don’t send you away. They find someone who they think will know the answer. Stop by this location the next time you need something and see for yourself.
Haven bought several tools overs the years. Craftsman and Kobalt. Had a simple 12mm wrench break from craftsman, I had a few I had to exchange last week. Last week no problem. Walked in got the correct sizes and walked out in 5 minutes. Tonight was a different story. Went to exchange a wrench that broke old woman at the front said with out a receipt I’d have to call craftsman and wait 3-5 weeks for replacement. That unless I bought one she wouldn’t do anything. Not about to buy a broken wrench.
The worst customer service ever! Ordered appliances online and can’t seem to get them delivered. They have no idea where the appliances are. Installer for dishwasher showed up and had no dishwasher. Called numerous times and just rings or sits on hold. Called for manager and never can get through or end up getting disconnected. What a terrible experience.
Nope, just nope. Ordered and paid for a dishwasher online, was told it was ready for pickup. It took 30 minutes for them to find someone to bring it to the front. They said no one was answering the phone in the back. I asked one associate if they could go to the back and find someone but they said they were busy taking out the trash. Incidentally, there were several Associates standing around either visiting with each other or texting on their phone. Sometimes its not the price but the quality of customer service. The latter was sorely lacking.
I came here after being ignored at Home Depot and talked to someone in appliances about purchasing a new washer and dryer. They gave me all the information I needed and I ended up purchasing the set that night. I fully recommend Lowes over Home Depot. They are on it and actually there to help. Plus they are not trying to suppress voters rights.
My house was devastated by the February brutal weather in Dallas...the water damaged wiped out my first floor - entirely. Lowes (on Lemmon) helped me rebuild: floors, doors, cabinets, and more. The best thing about Lowes are its people. Ive come to consider some of them friends. Hard to believe, but true.
My mother spent 3 hours in this Lowes waiting to purchase a large order of tile. The employee responsible for that department went back and forth to other customers leaving my mother waiting on her own, not knowing what to do. At the 3 hour mark, they finally helped her only to find that they did not have enough of the tile she had chosen. We asked that they call another store, which they did, however, they were left confused on how they would handle the transaction (your employees should know that there is a website and online/phone transactions are feasible). My mother left the store after 3 hours to go home, called the Lowes in Frisco, and completed the transaction in 5 minutes over the phone. HORRIBLE staff management at this location, would not recommend if you dont want to waste time or actually be helped.
This store used to have great service. Now you have to track someone down to get help and hopefully that person is in a good mood. Its very difficult to get someone to answer the phone. I was on my phone for 5-minutes today going through their automated system trying to get a live person. I finally hung up and called Lowes Corporate and now I understand why this locations service sucks. Ive been holding for 10-minutes to try and speak to someone......
This was my first time in my 37 years of life ever going into Lowes. Im so mad at myself for sleeping on Lowes because this store is very organized, cleaned, has a helpful and friendly staff and seems to have everything that you need to improve your home, condo or apartment. I came in looking for an outlet cord for my LG dryer and walked out with ideas on how to improve my apartment. I cant wait to go back!
Bad service from the customer service desk. If you need to call to check an order, youll be transferred around multiple times. Youll be on hold for a while and then someone will answer and ask what you were on hold for. Then they might transfer you mid-sentence while youre explaining it to them. And then your call will probably drop and youll have to call back and try again. We bought some appliances and never got a confirmation of when theyd be delivered. It took 3 phone calls to track down an update on it.The folks inside the Lowes - aside from the customer service desk - were all very helpful. I hate to grade an entire store poorly but it is what it is.
My husband and I came in on Sunday, Oct 11 to buy a new washer & dryer. We were prepared to load it on his truck but the person helping us offered free next day delivery and installation which saved us so much trouble and hassle! I dont know that I would have been much help carrying this. He gave us two options, 8am-12 and 12-4pm. I was going to have a busy morning so we selected from 12-4 pm. That evening, I got a text message that said the delivery time would be from 9:45 am - 1:45 pm. Okay, no biggie, they sent an update which is great. I get a message at 8:33 am stating that they are 15 minutes away. I was not home, and I was planning to be back by 9:45 am since this was the time they sent in the msg. Luckily, I wasnt TOO far. The gentleman called and said he was outside and was going to wait 15 minutes but at this point I was two blocks away. I had to stop what I was doing and rush over which was a slight inconvenience. I would have given 5 stars if they gave more accurate delivery times. The two men that delivered it were very nice and curtious, they explained everything to me, and carried it in no problem which was impressive! I would return to this Lowes anytime. Also, there were so many employees and registers with real life cashiers ready to check you out which you wont see at HD.
Very small product selection, and they apparently don’t bother restocking shelves. I also waited a really long time trying to get my lumber cut, and decided to give up. Then the MyLowes system didn’t give me my military discount, so I had to wait over 40 minutes at customer service while the employee helped 1 person return 1 item. Also, best to avoid using a cart since they seem to always have portable stairs blocking the aisles. In short, this store is a hot mess.
Very helpful staff today! They helped with handling part replacement for small device, and took extra stems to find a misplaced part. They were polite courteous and helpful. Service here since store opened has been good to outstanding. It seems they have less staff to help now, but maybe store is lots busier. We are home DIY people when possible, using a variety of services over the years. We pick them over a nearby competitor because store seems more convenient for non-commercial customers. It is neat clean and well-stocked. Today, garden dept was loaded with plants.
I like this Lowes. The service is great every time Ive had to ask for help, and they answer all of my questions very well. The store is very clean to where it just feels new. The parking lot is nice. I even received help from an associate who was passing by to load my car, and I didnt even ask for help. It seems like most of the associates really enjoy working there. As a renter, I only get small stuff, but its been a pleasant stop every time.
Terrible service. The scanners and the card readers do not function. The cashiers are inept in assisting and getting help from supervisors. Stood in line for 15 minutes long while the cashier did nothing to help check me out, only staring at a broken card reader. No offer to check me out anywhere else. Eventually had to leave without any of the items I had in my cart.
I went in store and placed an order for a fridge. The sales associate told me they didn’t currently have any in store but he could order one from another location and “guarantee” that it would be delivered by the following Wednesday. On the Tuesday night before I received a phone call from the Lowe’s saying my order would be delivered the next day. Because they could not give me a definite time that they would be coming, I had to take a day off from work to make sure I’d be able to be home for the delivery. Wednesday morning comes and I get a phone call saying they won’t be coming to deliver the fridge because they don’t have it in any of the local stores. Definitely the last time I will ever be coming into a Lowe’s. You don’t make guarantees to customers to get them to purchase items and then not follow through on your word. Awful way to do business.
Curbside pickup was a nightmare today. Two orders. Despite email confirmation saying they would bring out an order of tile, I had to push hard to get them to actually do it. 2nd order was apparently lost. Waited 40 minutes to finally get both orders. Very very disappointing experience.
Had the best experience tonight , for the most part most employees here are friendly and have great customer skills . Tonight we was helped by Connie she was absolutely what everyone would expect when receiving great customer service. We was looking for simple items ,she seemed so happy to help us and to be apart of Lowes it was around 8:45 and she was smiling the whole time. It would be great if more places had customer service like she gave tonight.
Emelio in the home appliance department was wonderful! Visited this store to buy washer&dryer, fridge, and microwave. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to buy anything because the ones we liked were all sold out or available only from another store. Emelio did such a wonderful job that my husband and I felt so bad not buying anything from him. He was the embodiment of how an employee of the month should be. Will not hesitate to go back to this store and get Emelio’s assistance when I need home appliances in the future.
I drove out of my way to this store because their website said that they had cast iron plants in stock. It even stated the aisle and bay they supposedly were located in. I looked in the designated aisle and didnt see any so I asked a store associate for help. He acted like I was wasting his time. I said that their website stated that they had my particular plant in stock. He was curt and rude in his response to me telling me that their website says to call ahead to see if they have those plants and then walked away. I felt like I had been scolded like a child and feel that I didnt deserve that. I dont recall reading that I should call ahead to check for availability. He coukd have been nice and respectful. Is this what you call customer service??
This is the 3rd time Im waiting for help now on flooring area they called someone but 20 min later nobody shows up, last time was like an hour and same thing, nobody again, this is why Lowes never gets not even half of the customer then the store across the street, or maybe because Im latino???
I bought appliances with this store. The appliances were suppose to arrive by in 2 weeks. It took over a month with no updates from Lowes regarding my appliances being delivered. Do not ever try to call Lowes. This was the most frustrating part. I was once placed on hold for 25 minutes. Then I was transferred to 3 different departments before reaching someone in appliances that transferred me back into the loop again. I finally had to go to the store to get an update and my salesman was on lunch and the other appliance employee was unloading a truck??? So no employee coverage of the entire appliance department. I had to leave a message on a sticky note for my salesman. Since I was unable to get all issues resolved, I then had to call the store again and went back through the loop again. Over 15 minutes before anyone answered phone. I believe after you spend over $2000+ with a store it is not too high of an expectation to have someone answer the phone. Ridiculous. I will say my appliances sales person Miguel was awesome!!! Everything else was unprofessional and time consuming.I had someone call the store while I was standing in front of the service desk and they answered put them on hold and continued with their conversation and texting. AWFUL customer service. I will never buy anything through this store again!!
Very disrespectful. Instead of anybody asking if i needed help, they just had workers follow me around as i did my shopping. The secret shoppers are very bad actors and made me feel like a criminal. Ill just stick to home depot and will not spend any more of my construction buisnesses money at that store.
The store itself is great. Delivery service? Not so much. We had scheduled a delivery of a washer and dryer about 10 days after we bought it because it was the first available time slot for AFTER 3 PM. Well, on the day of delivery our driver calls me at 1 PM to reschedule because I wasnt home! I said you were supposed to be at my house after 3 when I get off work. Its just frustrating waiting 10 days and then find out they screwed up the delivery time. All in all not a huge deal.
There are managers not following the return policy such as Hazel who works as a manager I believe. There is a lot of theft going on at this Lowes, it is very disappointing because my 83 year old mother has been going there for the past years for flowers, tools, and etc., but because they aren’t cracking down of the theft my mother doesn’t feel safe. The prices are horrible, there a lot of products with different prices then the actual tag. Stephanie in customer service assisted me with a lot of issues I had and I am very grateful she did, because she reminded me of the foundation of what Lowes is about. STOP HIRING PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!! More training, and better management.
I am a part time employee at Lowes in Dallas TX on Lemmon Ave. I have to say I am biased by being an employee but I have to say that this is by far the BEST company I have worked for. During this difficult time, Lowes have been the best supportive system and have been on top of this in assisting to keep us and our customers safe. Thank you Lowes!
Horrible customer service. Went in for a pickup which took nearly an hour. The store was nearly empty and there was no communication from the customer service associate as to what was happening he just stood there not telling me if my item was in stock or someone was getting it. When the item was finally located I unfortunately I found out the item was too big for my car and had to come back with my truck. The second visit wasnt better. The guy just grabbed my receipt and walked off without saying a word. Everyone I spoke to at that store needs to improve their communication skills. A little more interaction would have gone a long way. I
This store did not have product that the Web Page showed and I specifically drove to the store to purchase. When I called ahead I was hung up on then the second call got on the hold Merry-Go-Round and when no one answered I hung up. The lady at the service desk told me the one showing on the Web site was probably stolen.
The purpose of curbside service is to have items ready for people. I purchased an item online called the store to see if it was ready they told me 30 minutes so I come to the store. And beyond my belief that still didnt pull me order so I went got it myself it took me 3 minutes. So I refuse to shop at Lowes until they fix this .
I walked around for about 30 minutes and not a single person as they can help me. The only attention that I got was a few employees asking me to get out of their way. Im about to start a remodel on my bathroom and planned on spending a good chunk of money there. I guess that makes my decision very easy on whether I want to shop at Lowes or Home Depot.
Very disappointed with this Lowes and its store manager Cari Alvarez instead of the store manager coming out to talk to me she kept sending her employee back and forth with messages. Ive spent over 10k at this location ever since my warehouse got hit by the tornado on Walnut Hill. I shouldve been treated with more respect from the store manager especially being a high dollar client of Lowes, I will no longer purchase anything from Lowes and take my business to home depot this store doesnt deserve any of my business especially with the respect they show to their customers.
Walked in to rent a simple carpet cleaner. Talked to two different representatives, neither of which were able to help me but called in for help to have another representative unlock the case with the cleaners. Waited five minutes, talked to another representative who also had to call for help... Ended up walking out because nobody knew how to help me. Went to Home Depot, no problem at all. Guess Im headed there next time too!
I have been to three Lowe’s stores in two days and have been given the run around when I attempted to purchase mirrored glass and have it cut. Two of the stores stated they were out of the mirror glass. So I had an associate call this store to see if they had mirrored glass. The associate stated to Fred that I needed this mirror glass cut. Fred stated that they did have some mirrored glass in stock and to send me over. I get to this location only to find out that they were told not to cut mirrored glass (when every other Lowe’s cuts mirror) Fred failed to mention that on the phone with the associate from the previous store. I will not be shopping at Lowe’s any longer. Terrible customer service with lazy employees who give you the run around.
The Appliances team at this Lowes are AMAZING ! Thumbs up to Emilio, Miguel, Hazel and the store manager Luz for going above and beyond their job. Their customer services are on point ! They communicate among themselves so that when I came on, they knew exactly what the situation was and got it resolved even when the others were out.Although I live in Garland, I drive all the way to this Lowes because I find they have the best customer services. Will definitely be back for all future appliances need. 👍
Professional photographer neighbor looking for something particular and rather immediate; Lowes is one of the easy go-tos here in NW Oaklawn/Medical District Dallas.Sure Nicholson-Hardy staff (Brian) was helpful and expedient, Vickery was closed, had not checked Costco and Lowes is closest in proximity. (Adrian) took no time checking greenhouse stock, availability, etc and his exuberance, tact just made Lowes Inwood/Lemmon Ave the place to go first.Thank you Lowes for having such supportive, onboard staff!
Came into this store after a bad experience with another lowes, the employee I dealt with didnt care about my concerns/issues for making a large $$$ purchase and making sure that everything that was going to be cut was cut to the correct measurement.I even stopped her halfway through and asking if these were being cut to the correct length and her reply was, I WORK HERE, I KNOW WHAT IM DOING .... well. After wasting half a day at multiple locations Im not sure if anyone at lowes knows how to do their job. Everything was cut incorrectly, and the attitude I received when trying to make sure things were done correctly only makes it worse.Thank god for Lowes return policy. Taking my business elsewhere.
VETERANS DO NOT SHOP HERE! I worked for lowes for 7 years and never seen a veteran denied his/her 10% discount. Jose, a cashier, denied my discount, even though I showed military identification. He told me that if I didnt provide him my phone number he couldnt give me the discount. Every other lowes i visit gives me the discount. Leave this store to the civilians. Im so insulted right now I cant even leave the parking lot without writing this review. Im disgusted by this stores treatment of veterans. This is a sad day.
I just purchased this week a washer and dryer set but they did not adjust the door on the dryer for me. I contacted the store and Chavez said he would call me back with an answer from the store supervisor. Now they are coming tomorrow to fix the dryer door to open from the left, awesome customer service he did not forget me, thank you.
I go to this Lowe’s often as it is close to my house. However, the customer service is terrible. It is very difficult to find anyone to help. If you do find someone, they have very limited knowledge of the store. Store associates also act as if you are bothering them by asking a question.
It was terrible. I actually got the excuse, thats not my department so ask him. No one knew where anything was. They kept sending me to store places in the store and it was never right. Just go to Home Depot. Was told by three different employees it wasnt there. And it was. It is a terrible store.
We had a carpet installation through this location. Halfway through our installation, the installers realized a large portion of the carpet was shredded and were unable to complete the install. It took a MONTH to get new carpet delivered. The morning of the SECOND install, no one ever came. It is impossible to get anyone at the store to help during the install because it is all subcontracted. We spent $7,000 on carpet and were basically robbed blind for services that were never completed. Carpet installation through Lowe’s is a complete and total scam.
Basically the equivalent of Target to Home Depots Walmart. Better lit, better designed, and every inch isnt crammed with junk. Unlike the Target/Walmart comparison tho, pricing is equivalent. Which is why I always go here instead. Staff at this location have always been helpful. Its my primary big-box hardware store near downtown.
Atrocious. Washer/dryer ordering in-store was ok experience but they were never delivered. Lowe’s Called at 8am on delivery day and would “be there soon”. Got runaround rest of day and at 4pm they were still waiting on another delivery in a town 45 mins away. Just go to Best Buy from the get-go.
Friendly and helpful stuffs. I was trying to make a copy of a key with the automatic mechaine, it did not work, the key did not match well with my original one. Had to go for a person for remaking a new key within the store. People are better than automatic mechaines.
Custom Levolor shades - hopefully 4th time is the charm.1st off I would like to give a shout out to Daniel in Home Decor / Window Treatments department @ Lowes, he is the best and if this review was purely on him it would be 5/5 stars!! Daniel was so great in giving recommendations and design advice for the custom shades I was ordering for my bedroom (4 large windows that wrap the room). However, not everything is perfect so here we go...I went with the custom roller shade in white with room darkening, three of the four were absolutely beautiful and I would order again. However, the 4th had a grease stain right in the middle. I was appreciative that Rusty (installer) pointed it out before leaving and submitted for a replacement. So far in my mind this was a manufacturing glitch and I still would have awarded 5 stars for customer service.Fast forward 3 weeks, I received the replacement shade (yay!) ... except the replacement had a different size housing unit. If it was stand alone in a room it would have been fine; however, it was next to 3 other shades and very noticeable.Fast forward another 3 weeks, the 2nd replacement unit comes in. Luckily the housing unit is the correct size but the style was different. So yet again, it does not match the other 3 in the room. Again annoyed but this is manufacturing not the store so I am trying to keep the two companies separate. After the 2nd replacement still wasnt what I paid for, I called the store to see what they were doing to correct the situation. I was hoping to speak to Dan because my first experience was so great, unfortunately he wasnt scheduled for the day so I spoke with Maria (the assistant manager).@Lowes please take note because Maria has the WORST customer service and I would give your store a 1 star if this review was based on her. After explaining my situation to Maria I was told Lowes would order a replacement shade but I would have to pay Rusty to come out and install because he had already been twice and they werent going to cover any more service charges. When I refused to accept that answer she came up with an alternative option, I could keep the damaged shade for 50% off and just accept that sometimes products arent perfect. Well my answer to you Maria, Yes, I understand that not all manufacturing is perfect. However, when I am paying over $1000 for shades in my bedroom I do expect to have a presentable product that looks new out of the box.A few days later, I finally heard back from Daniel. (Again, he is SO GREAT!!). Daniel was able to get new shades ordered which will be installed at no additional charge to me - they actually had to order all 4 new shades because manufacturing changed so all future models would look different than my original 3. It has been 3 months since my original order and still waiting for the next replacements to come in but hoping that the 4th go around gets it right.
Ordered a set of washer and dryer back in November. its now end of January. They scheduled delivery the first time and no one showed up (I took time off work to wait around all day). Was supposed to receive it today and unit came damaged. Lets hope third is a charm but Im not holding my breath.
The customer service sucks. The universal stove top knbs come in different colors, stainless is about $5 more. No big deal. But the one package of it they had was incomplete due to someone else returning it. Can we Rob one of the other sets to make the adapters complete on this set so I can get a complete package? Answer: NO. We want you to buy the stainless at 10 percent off and the other at full price.
Horrible Customer Service. There is a young Lady by the name of Anita who claims to be in charge today ( 5-25-15 ) She denied my better half to make purchase with my credit card. Im a manager at Multi- Million dollar company and would never handle someone the way she did. Customer Service is my life. Treat other the way you would like to be treated. IT IS NOT GOOD TO PROFILE A PERSON BY THE WAY THEY LOOK. The person you think is honest is the person whos really getting over on you. This was a example of judging a book by its cover. She was in there less than a week ago and bought the same thing in the same manner that she tried today. This is very unfair. What has this world come to..I will travel 100 miles to another store before I ever return to this one. Shon Rolfe or Chanel Brown if your reading this you need to fire Anita. She makes you guys look HORRIBLE.
Management at this location is a joke! Theyve had 5 different delivery managers in the past year! Customer service is horrendous, prepare to be transferred to 10 different associates before being hanged up on. They fire hard working associates for the stupidest reasons, management is whom should really be fired. Not to mention all the creepy eye stares certain associates give you most of whom I assume are gay. Youre better off driving across the street to Home Depot or go down to the street to the Inwood location.
Horrendous service. I purchased a dishwasher over energy star tax free weekend. I was charged tax. I brought it up with the cashier...she got what appeared to be the supervisor who photocopied my receipt and took my information. Never heard back from them. Then the sales person called for delivery, and I told him about this problem. He said he would talk with someone and get back with me. I never heard back from him. Then the dishwasher was delivered, I decided to call and talk with manager. After being deflected on the phone for 15 minutes I was finally allowed to speak with a manager. At this point the manager (wrongly) starts arguing that this tax free weekend was my responsibility. Then I was put on hold. 5 minutes later, someone who actually knew what they were talking about gets on the phone to confirm that the other manager was wrong. At this point, everything had to be checked over again, and of course, was found to be in order and that the original conclusion was found...that i was owed the tax. How to get the money back? Drive across town so that it could be refunded (which I KNOW will be met with about 3 levels of confusion, and skepticism before I find someone who will actually get the money refunded). Im sure the store itself is pretty standard as far as home improvement customer service, but the management here is clueless.
Im glad there were other people around. I really felt I was gonna be kidnapped. I was followed around the store. I knew what I was looking for, I just thought it would be ok to look around for it. I mightve bought something else. Im sorry for going to the store really. But its not my fault they closed the Irving store. I wont go back. Ill visit the next closest store.
I have gone here several times (during the day on a weekday as well as on the weekend) and can never find anyone to help me.When I do finally find a sales associate theyre busy helping 3-4 other people.I dont mind waiting for help, but please increase your sales staff (especially during peak hours).
Everything was fine especially people in garden dept. Then I went to paint section picked up discounted paint asked person there if re adjusting color was expensive and I needed a cheap solution. He said buy new one as He d charge me the same to do it. I tried explaining again and didnt come in for an argument..so I said if go to home depot as I knew they did it before, and beefogan going back to garden section to pay....he said you dont have to be rude, across the store and I heard it. I told him I wasnt rude is busy and didnt have to argue with him. If it were my employee is at least want to knogw.h That guy w as look ing for a fight. I almost left the 70 dollars of plants and left....
I called the store looking for a replacement plastic lens for a bathroom fixture. Adam was so helpful. He found the part and called me back with pricing. Everyone at the store has been so helpful. I am a lighting retrofitter so I have unusual requests for solutions.Thank you Lowes!
Although I didnt find what I was looking for (nC6 or nC7 or other solvent) to clean off some grease from fabrics and leave the fabric stainless. One of the guys in the painting dept. Super helpful, he was conversing with a coworker about work, made a pause, and offered me all organic solvents available at the store. With a smile and trying to find all the possible ways to help (I forgot his name but Ill return and Ill edit the post to include it) standing ovation honestly!
Went on this particular day as two different employees to help me find a piece I need it for my bi-folding doors one said they dont know where it was the other one said I dont know the store but if you want I can find you someone that can help you I walked away went to the rest are found this wonderful young man who looked up the peace for me when I gave him the name found it for me came home fix my door happy happy
Went to self check out and employee managing self check out yells at customers who do not know how to work the check out well. If you can’t handle customers asking questions find another job. This is why people choose Home Depot instead. No communication no help no service.
It is a regular Lowes environment. If you have to ask about particulars, be prepared to get handed around to several people, before you get someone who knows what they are talking about. On the plus side, there does seem to be in expert on the grounds for every specially, they are just hard to find or really busy.My favorite area is the lawn and garden. The staff know what they are talking about and they aim to please and inform the customer, not pad the companies wallet.
Awesome customer service in the nursery area, they really do the extra mile on answering your questions and guide you to get your issues resolved. Too bad that the selection was not the best, I was looking for terrarium supplies and had to go to the home depot instead.
Kathy, in kitchen cabinet area in the Lowes on Lemmon, is wonderful and such a big help. Called from Indiana to buy something for my son in Dallas. She helped me decide on which items I needed to purchase and got all of the information together so I could complete my purchase. She also has shown great patience and guidance for helping my son complete his kitchen remodel with new cabinets.
AVOID THIS PLACE!Home Depot across the street is 10x a better establishment. The service at this store is atrocious. The manager, Adam lacks any customer service. Toia and Chanel refused to accept my U.S. Passport as an acceptable form of identification, but the Lowes policy clearly states a border crossing card is an acceptable ID.

2022-01-04Super helpful staff. I visited lows after giving my mother a TV for Christmas. She didn’t have a drill so I got that for her too. Blink Amazon cameras? Sure. Why not? They are the same price at Lows as they are on Amazon. Remember the days when Amazon was cheaper? I love that you can go to stores and find the same price there as you would on Amazon.

2022-02-27This is one home improvement store that actually has staff that are friendly and know what they are talking about. The store is clean and well stocked. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. If you are in searching for home improvement needs, I highly recommend that you check out the location. With their knowledgeable staff and competitive prices, this is the location you should start your shopping list.

2022-01-30Pro Desk clerk (dark haired female) was amazing. She took time to help us get a clearer understanding of the ordering process and was very patient. I wish I hadnt misplaced her business card. Lowes need more employees with her level of attention to detail and quality customer service. Couldnt give 5 stars because they had only 3 of 37 items needed.

2021-12-29Very good deal on a work bench. It was marked down 50%. Then another 10% because it was the display. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

2022-04-19Good clean and organized storage. Before I went in to purchase a new waste disposal unit I checked the reviews online. I was happy the unit I chose was available for in-store purchase. If you want email receipt make sure you tell the cashier before they start scanning your items.

2022-01-24I was very pleased with the customer service at this store. I tend to avoid hardware stores as most associates don’t seem to know much more than I about the products they carry, but Lowes associates are almost always helpful and knowledgable.I’d like to specifically commend Sergio and another colleague in the appliance department (unfortunately did not catch his name) for helping me choose my first washer/dryer from the vast (and quite frankly, overwhelming) array of options and his colleague for course correcting a delivery timing issue, to which I was able to receive both items in a timely manner. I’m both pleased with the level of service and my new appliances!

2022-06-21I’m rating my experience with the *GARDEN CENTER*I found the staff very friendly and helpful in the store jut we came to buy a plant. All of the vegetable/herbs were dead. Like a corner of the center was neglected and left unwatered. I do understand that there are a lot of plants to keep alive and the sun is a factor however it looked like it was just left over and over again. We bought a flowering succulent and another couple of plants. I know it can’t be helped but they were very root bound (growing out of the bottom of the pot) and the other flowering plant had root rot. We are currently leaving that one in a cloth pot to dry it out.Wouldn’t go back here to buy plants (unless you don’t mind getting some you have to nurse) but they have a variety of pots. Staff is helpful. Just the plants could use more tlc, less watering and more attention to certain areas.

2021-04-28I ordered two items for in-store pickup. Regarding the picture hangers (below), the website indicated it would arrive in 1-3 business days (which became a one-week wait time at checkout). Imagine my surprise when I saw several of them in stock already! This suggests poor inventory management. The second item was the hand truck, which was (also?) in stock and readied for me the same day. I dont expect a $75 hand truck to be in pristine condition, but i dont expect the one they probably use to transport the other customers in store pickups either. As the photo shows, the wheel was already torn up and quite dirty (even by hand truck standards).Needless to say, I canceled the entire order. So much for convenience...
