The staff is very friendly,,, but the manager decided to close this entrance definitively....and when they receive material he also closes the other entrance,,, if he is going to close one entrance, they should open the other, he wastes our time that we come to buy at the store,,,
The pro desk here is the best. I order a lot through them and Maria and the rest of the team do an incredible job. Theyve made recommendations for similar products to use with supply chain issues, stay competitive in the market, communicate well and make timely deliveries.
I went in to see if they had a replacement heating element for my oven. I went back to the appliance section and there was a kitchen remodel consultant hanging out, so I asked her if they carried heating elements for ovens. She looked at me expressionless and asked whats that? I explained what it is and even showed her in an oven on the floor. She said if they had it, it would be on the back row where they carry kitchen accessories. I was on the row looking and another employee walked by and I asked her the same question. She looked at me blankly and asked Whats that? I said never mind, thank you. I later found out, you can only order it online for in store pickup, so I made the trip for nothing.
Horrible customer service and unorganized inventory. I called multiple times,no answer. the phone rang & rang in flooring & finally I was hung up on. I drove 45 mins away for 46 items that were clearly visible in their system (Lowe’s employee even confirmed in person that it was “somewhere” in the store), but the employees were unable to find it. Apparently, they have a habit of putting small quantity items on random unlabeled pallets or cramming them in a randomly on top of the shelf in the flooring section. The assistant manager Adriana was negative to other possible solutions, and quick to write off that the items were missing (the nonchalant nature, shows this must be a common pattern) .I expect more from Lowe’s.
I been buying on lowes for a long time I always like it but lately is been so bad is new workers and young n inexperienced they dont know how to solve a problem, I buy floor and they lost it they didnt know where it was and I wait for it for 23 days I went back and they have to price match to another floor similar but not the same than what I want, well then I bought 3 fans and just 1 work now idk if they can exchange them o refund me for them so stay tuned for the end of this review.😒👎
If I wanted lousy service, I wouldve went to Walmart...I was insulted by a condescending employee who asked me if I spoke English and then laughed about it....no one could answer any questions I had, so I left and went to the store on south Hampton Rd where the employees there were a lot more helpful.....I always preferred Lowes over the other store but after this experience I m considering switching stores
The staff will stock you unlike the home Depot they ask if you need help. But here your stalked. I have purchased many tools here 90% of the time its on my own when half the time I needed help, as I was purchasing a drill the staff member was in a rush when I needed to purchase another then I felt awkward to ask him for an extra battery for the drill and he grabs the box from me telling me it already comes with one and I tell him yes it does but there are 2 tools inside with only one battery and I ask him where the extras are at. As he is still looking at the box I see the battery and tell him where it is. . other than that its a trip I have to make, not one I look forward to
I am not the type of person that likes to complain normally, but today what normally would of been a super fast trip to the store turned into a long frustrating experience, at this specific location shelves are messy, items in the wrong places, Lowe’s app shows items to be available but they are no where to be found on the shelves. I understand people get busy and fall behind sometimes, but employees were literally down the aisle laughing and having a good time and instead of working.
We needed furnace filters, mop heads and 16 lag screws. When we finally found the correct box, when opened there were many different size screws mixed in with the correct ones. After digging through them all we found the exact ones we needed. Unfortunately, this happens more and more.
The screws they sell now are junk and the bots are all Chinese dollar store junk inflated way high the screws bent and the heads sttipped feally fast with that soft metal the drill bits I bought last only 2 screws after that they were junk at least the people that work here now are very helpful and friendly so they get 5 stars for that but for the junk they are selling they get 4 taking away
If I could give a negative star I would. I ordered a washer and dryer set both with pedestals and even pushed my delivery date to make sure ALL four items would be delivered at the same time to minimize mishaps. Order gets delivered. Low and behold the dryer pedestal is missing and who tells us this? The 3rd party delivery driver NOT Lowes. How unprofessional to put a 3rd party in charge of communicating this to the customer? Okay fine. I called several times to find out when the pedestal would be delivered or even if it would be delivered. I was assured it would be delivered. Fast forward to today, day of delivery for the pedestal. I called to confirm. Delivery confirm. Delivery window passes and Lowes calls to say once again NO PEDASTAL! Well why send a confirmation email, call to confirm well be there for delivery just to calll and say you never had it to begin with? Thats the 2nd time I missed work for nothing. Ridiculous! Ill never give them my business again. I could have taken my money elsewhere.
We’ve had the worst experience with Lowe’s. We placed a large order online for new floors, door casing, baseboards, etc. we got a confirmation for home delivery. I had flooring installers lined up to get started for the delivery, so at about 3:30pm on the day of delivery, I called the store to get an estimated time. I was on hold for over 30 minutes, transferred from store associate, supervisor, eventually to the manager who told me they don’t deliver on the weekends and “I shouldn’t have been allowed to pick that delivery day”. Furthermore, she said “she doesn’t know why I was able to place the order because “they don’t have the product in stock”, and that “my address was outside of their delivery area”. She blamed me for Lowe’s problems. Despite paying an extra $85 for delivery, I had to pick up some of the order myself so I could get started on my project, then the rest they had in stock was delivered a couple days later. This is where the next problem starts. The delivery driver called me before saying, it’s raining which will damage the product and asked if I will be home to put it in the garage. I assured him yes. Well....he delivered on an open truck. Some of the product was damaged and wet. And I still am missing some of the product. I called the cancel the rest of the order, they can’t cancel it! And all of this and I still paid for full delivery, wasn’t compensated for having workers show up for a delivery that didn’t show up as planned. And wasn’t compensated at all for inconvenience. And my card was still charged for full amount of order even though I haven’t received about 1/3rd of it. DONT ORDER FROM LOWES. They won’t fulfill your order and don’t follow delivery schedules and when they mess up, they blame you and won’t compensate you at all!!!!!
Returned an item to Lowes yesterday as a terrible windstorm was blowing through the area. A huge iron rack outside with hanging baskets for sale blew into my car. I went inside and reported to the customer service desk and she would not even listen to me but told me that they were not responsible for those items outside. Hogwash!
*UPDATE*The delivery driver called this morning and was very apologetic. She even tried to squeeze me into the morning time, but I am unavailable due to work. I appreciate them trying and actually calling me to explain what happened yesterday. Communication is everything. Will change from 3 to 5 stars if delivery goes well!Im SO disappointed. I ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered & installed and it was already being delivered a whole 2 weeks after purchasing. I specifically asked the salesman if it could be delivered after 5 as I work full-time and am not allowed to take off at this time. The man reassured me this would be fine and that the delivery driver calls the day before to give me a 4 hour window of when they would be coming. He said I should tell them at that point and it will be fine.Low and behold, I hear nothing from them the day before my delivery. Then they call me the day of, sometime in the 12:00 hour and say theyll be at my place within 17 minutes. What????I asked if itd be possible for them to bring them after 4:45 pm that day and they agree. I do not hear from them again until 6:30pm, telling me they cannot deliver my order anymore because something came up. WHAT?! There was no remorse in their voices and they didnt care what I had to say. Told me I need to talk to their supervisor even though they admitted to being the ones that decided to not deliver my appliances.I called the store literally 18 times and no one would pick up to help me resolve this issue. I work full time and am in school so this day was the only free evening I had for my appliances to be delivered.I am even a cardholder with Lowes. This is so frustrating and beyond inconvenient. I wish I could just return everything at this point.
Yeah I got there around 6:00 p.m. went to the garden center to look at the fruit trees they had the gates locked. It was windy it was cold, I saw at least six associates working out there, two of them said that they would get the manager, waiting for about 15 minutes and nobody showed finally got cold enough had to go inside. Went to customer service waited to see a manager one of the associates that said theres going to get the manager asked if he ever came out and I told him no but I wanted to talk to him. After waiting about 15 minutes I asked customer service to give me the phone number and the name of the manager in the corporate phone number. I made myself clear to everybody I talked to that I totally understand why they locked the gate up late on the outside of the store, but it doesnt make any sense at all to lock the gates on the inside where you cant get to the trees and the plants because the gates are locked on the outside nobody can steal the plants or the trees so it doesnt make any sense to lock the gates on the inside also. Lowes just wasted my gas my time and gave me a little attitude because of it I like Lowes this store used to be good but I dont know whats going on right now, and I dont want to hear its about the covid..
The first store on that area I went to didnt have it! I thought I bet Lowes has something that would work. I brought my problem here. I had an oddity I was looking for and an associate stayed with me and helped me search isles for what I needed...then, I had another oddity that I needed to go with what I found... another associate went above and beyond with me on that! A very aggravating venture but with their help I was able to fix what I needed to fix!
I came by to buy some extra tiles however they loaded the wrong tiles in my cart & car, often times they mess up my orders and take no form of accountability. The rep who loaded my moulding pretty much broke about 4 of them. I got home realized it was the wrong tile so had to drive back to get this swapped Timberly at customer service was very unprofessional, dismissive and unbothered. I requested she call a manager while I go swap the tile but she didn’t. She kept asking the other rep when did it happen when I stated I was here earlier and spent hours trying to get help. Most of the workers at this location need to be retrained.
Ordered washer and dryer online. After 11 weeks they show up, but the dryer was defective. After 5 phone calls over 5 days, I finally got a refund, but Lowes W. Dallas refused to order me another dryer at the same price to replace their defective product. Lowes does not stand behind their products or pricing.
Purchased a washer and it was delivered the next day where as Home Depot was going to have me wait an entire month for a washer that was delivered damaged and I had to return it after waiting 1 week to receive it the first time. 🤔🤔 Im definitely a Lowes customer here on.
Like other people are complaining about, many items are marked for significantly lower prices on the shelf than they actually cost. 2 of the 8 items I purchased rang up for twice the price marked on the shelf. A wooden handle post hole digger marked at 27.88 came up at 49.98 and 1x4 pressure treated wood rang up twice the shelf price. When I informed the cashier that these items were incorrectly priced i was told they would not honour the shelf prices. I will not be shopping at a store this poorly managed and will be taking my companies business elsewhere.
How long is a customer supposed to stand at the paint department counter waiting to order paint before giving up? Theres a button to press for service, which had been pressed by the customer ahead of me. It was flashing quite impressively. We stood admiring it for several minutes as one employee after another strolled by without a glance at us. I walked over to Customer Service and asked for assistance. A summons was announced on the P.A. system. Back at paint we continued our wait. The customer ahead of me soon gave up and left. I pressed the impressive service light once again and waited. After another couple of minutes I collected my swatches and left.
We bought 40 12X12 stepping stones n idk how many different sizes of 2X4X12 2X8X16. Normally i get help loading them. Not today. 3 guy employees outside right next to us and not one offered help. They looked at me n kept on talking. Home Depot is way closer to my house n they have always helped. I guess thats where i will continue to go.
Even your average housewife will enjoy visiting Lowes home improvement. Theyve got everything. From lumber, plumbing hardware, kitchen and bath fixtures, gardening supplies to household cleaning products and so much more. You cant go wrong when you shop at LHI stores.
Right now Im not a satisfied customer. And remodeling the kitchen I bought a bunch of backsplashes from different stores all because one store didnt have enough. Once I finish my kitchen after a month I was ready to do the black space and realize that it did not go with the rest of the kitchen so I took it into Home Depot to return it the impatient girl at the customer service desk refused to wait to get the information for my contractor to give me my credit back is dead gave me a in-store credit. Which I never wanted and this my thought I lost it but when you have a whole house tour of doing remodeling the last thing you want is other things laying around. Im in store bouncing around from the service desk to the pro service desk just for someone to help me. Of course they telling me it wont be today Im sure Im not their priority even though I spent thousands of dollars in this store and have a credit card. Will I get my money back will see they telling me it wont be today
Walked in and there was plenty of associates that did not look busy at all. I came in at about 8 so an hour before closing. I visited the store in hopes to purchase a fridge , stove , microwave and a washing and dryer set. Walked around the appliances area for about 35 min , there was 2 employees there just talking to eachother and not one came up to me. I walked some more looking thru the fridge section and still not greeted. I decided to leave after feeling like they just were not going to help me. Literally took a trip next door to Conns and purchased ALL these Items within 30 min. Never again visiting this location. I think you lost a good sell tonight , considering I already knew what I wanted and just came in to order.
Went in to buy a weed eater. Large selection, wanted one that used .080 line. There were three associate standing there in Home and garden not 20 feet from me. Looked toward them, they avoided my looking at me by turning their heads. I got tired of waiting, left told them thanks for their help. Sad situation, no customer service.
Lowes, particularly this one, is top knotch. I had gone to Home Depot and couldnt find what I wanted. Lowes website had the quantity AND the aisle and bin number listed right there. We walked in to a CLEAN AND ORGANIZED store and low and behold the item WAS THERE, WHERE THEY SAID IT WOULD BE. Great work, Lowes!
Well,In my opinion the store could be better than again it could be just the area its in... The employees are I would say half good and half bad, you can tell who likes the job and whos looking for the check. Im not trying to knock on them but it needs to improve (shows 3 stars but I give it a 2.5 stars). Maybe they should take a lesson from the store off Lemmon and Inwood... Just saying
Made a large online order and received confirmation later that evening that my order was READY FOR PICKUP. I rented a truck and hired help to load and unload. I showed up the next morning to pickup, only to find not only was my order not ready, IT HAD NOT EVEN BEGUN TO BE PULLED. The employees were frantically trying to pull the large order, while I was told to walk down to customer service and talk to Johnnie the store manager. The store manager was at lunch. We continue to wait for hours. Then we were told that they couldn’t find bolts for my order to be fulfilled. Then later they finally found them. This whole order was for my business that I needed to perform on time for a customer of mine. I had to explain to my customer who was incredibly upset that Lowe’s had dropped the ball completely and then insulted me by offering me a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Not only am I a veteran who didn’t take my 10% discount from the beginning bc I paid online to have my order ready, but they may have lost a customer for life, which is hard because Lowe’s is so close to my business. I’m starting to spread the word.
I recently visited my son in Dallas. His yard and plants needed major work, so I went to your great garden department. I met a wonderful employee Kent. He helped me with numerous questions....being from Florida....it’s a new ballgame. Every plant I looked at, Kent would say, this will die as soon as the climate changes. It’s a lovely plant for someone that wants beautiful color for a short time. I love my son and know he needed something that would not die and live year to year. I’m sure his gardener will appreciate it. You have a very valuable and knowledgeable employee in Kent. I hope you appreciate him. 😊Next time I’m back in Dallas I will stop by and show him the wonderful pictures of his suggestions. 👩🦳🌴
Lowes service in one word: Terrible.I went to the store to buy one brass nipple to fix an air line of a machine.One associate told me to go to the electric department. When I told him that nipple is related with nothing electric. He then answered: then I dont know.The second associate told me: look in this area. Here is a lot of fittings.Finally I went to the plumbing area and found by myself.It is shame how the store has people not knowing the basics of the department where they work.
Bought a dishwasher and installation and they have no showed for installation 3 different times wasting my time after leaving work to be there. They blame it on the installation company they use. Call the store and they pass you around and play the blame game as well. I will be getting a refund and taking my business elsewhere.
Bought a battery in store but after purchasing it, they could not locate the battery. After waiting for 15 min, I was told they would continue to search for it and call me back that night regarding the battery. Mind you, Ive already paid for the item at this point. No phone call that night. Nor did I get one the following day. It wasnt until I called them back that night that I was told that they had found the item. I was also told that they put the item aside so that when I came in to pick it up, there would be minimal weight. I go in the following day, and no one can find the item. I had the name of the person I worked with and a copy of the receipt along with the piece of paper that had the item picture on it. Finally, after 15 minutes or so, someone was able to locate the product. Once the item was found, it was given to me and I was on my way, with nothing more than a very quick apology for todays wait. Not very pleased at all with Lowes
Historically and will continue shopping at Lowes as a fan, however... Three decorative screw caps for 71 cents when I can get a hundred piece count for $2 on Amazon and was told you would NOT price match a DeWalt that was 96 dollars on Amazon and yours was priced at $140. I guess the new Lowes business model is in case of emergency brake glass? I mean I vaguely remember a store called Sears.
This store is pretty well stocked, went in for 4 items and found 3 right away. Checkout was pretty quick with 3 registers open. Always use Lowes card for 5% instant discount and my Lowes keeps track of purchases. Store is in convenient but awkward location and back entrance/exit is easiest.
I have come to expect that most employees do not know about building. So I would never ask for advice. But the customer number service is superb! The other day, I came in after a week. And one of the employees asked me how my project was coming along and a product that he sold me the week before and how if it worked out as I hoped.
The store manager, Christian, declined the price match. Stating that lowes dont do price match with Amazon. I tried to show and read for him the lowes return policy on my phone and described the difference between third party seller on Amazon and ship&sold by Amazon, he still stay on his non sense with noting that he work as a manager in lowes for 9 years.Asked him to call his supervisor, declined.Try to call corporate, they were closed.Also they put the return policy on a board behind the customer service area. The didnt let me get closer to the board to read it and remind them what is their store rules.I just gave up.Drive to another Lowes and bought DeWalt miter saw DWS799 and match the price with Amazon.com $30 lower.Definitely he never read his store policies. Stuff like this make me decide between buying from this big box or other one.Maybe you are behind because your managers cant read the policies.Respect your rules and make sure your customer can get a the deal that you promised.
Im sorry but the restrooms are just nasty. I mean several stalls were out of order and there was trash all over. Its so unsanitary. We go there ALL the time because its the closest, but a lot of the times the young associates really dont want to help you. Its like its a hassle for them. Dont get me wrong, at other times some of the other associates can be so helpful. Customer service is really good though. They really go above and beyond. Theres always parking and the store is pretty well stocked. They have a great assortment of plants too that are in good 🌱 shape. Ordering online and picking up in store is really great too.
We moved to Tx. Bought a home. Boutique a $2500 fridge from Lowes. The first one didnt work. Waited another week for the second fridge. The second one gives a message of replace water filter that hasnt been used used ots only a few days old in our home brand new. They put the freezer door on wrong so its making frost thats melting outside the fridge dripping on my floor and no ice or water. Waited another week for them to send someone to the house who should be here tomorrow. Whats worse, you cant get a live person on the phone and when you do they pit you on hold for 20 min to hang up on you. The Lowes off S. Hampton in Desoto is HORRIBLE!!!
My last experience at Lowes Home Improvement was fantastic. I had to go buy plywood and load it on top of my SUV to get it home and only 6 minutes away from my house. The floor salesman spotted me looking at the plywood he came over and asked me if I needed assistance I said yes he found the plywood I was looking for help me load it on the cart took it outside with me and help me load it on my roof my SUV. Now that is customer service.
This may be the worst store I have ever been in. The service is non existent. The line to pay stretched almost to the opposite wall and they only had two registers open. Employees are walking around and when you try to ask them for assistance they seem upset that you stopped and talked to them, much less to ask them for assistance. The only good thing was that this store was well stocked and I found product that I could not find at the Lowes close to my home.
This was by far the WORST customer experience I have ever had at any brick and mortar or online business ever. What should have been a very simple online order and pick up transaction on Saturday, July 25, turned into a 6 hour ordeal where I, the customer, had to repeatedly contact the store to get status updates and ask for assistance. I called the store 11 times trying to get my order issue resolved and not once was I contacted by phone or email by Lowes. Both the associates at the store and the chat agent online had no idea what they were doing. The store associates were insistent that the product was out of stock and not available while the chat agent assured me the product was ready for pick up. It wasnt until I asked to speak to a manager that the situation got anywhere. The store associates, and I spoke to at least 3 different ones, were perfectly willing to simply cancel a $540 order they did nothing to secure. I had to plead with them multiple times to check inventory at other locations. And heres the kicker, after talking with a manager, he told me HE would call me back with a solution. About 30 minutes later one of the store associates called to tell me my order was ready for pick up, no apology. I picked up the package and when I arrived home and opened the box, I discovered that the store and manager had knowingly sold me a used product as new with damaged packaging AND missing parts. I believe this is what is known as deceptive selling practices by law. So not only was I sold a product that I had to somehow modify to be able to use, but now I have to call the manufacturer to order the missing parts. I will never recommend Lowes to anyone I know and will share my experience in the hopes of preventing anyone in having to go through this kind of ordeal. And it goes without saying I will not be a customer at this or any Lowes store ever again.
Needed a special screwdriver bit, too remove a sun visor.Would have given 4 stars, but the screwdrivers that holds the bit were nowhere near, and it took us 10 minutes to find them... with help.The worker that helped find them, in the other hand was VERY nice and helpful.
Great place to be. This Lowe’s is small.. but they make up for it in workers. Workers seem to really enjoy each other. The guy that load stuff in the builders side, with the long hair on top and short on top, the samurai haircut. He’s super nice really cool dude. They actually seem to talk about being nice to the customers more than other Lowe’s. Good job guys. I fly weighting this review to help the workers that have been helping me. Thank guys.
Well after waiting 32 days for an order (Riding lawnmower) to be delivered, the store has TGE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, they put the steering wheel on backwards, and sent it with a soaking wet owner’s manual and NO KEY TO USE IT! Then act like they help you and don’t do nothing about it! They never answer the phone, and I will never buy nothing from Lowe’s and return to Home Depot and Ace hardware! This company is trash
1710 Chalk Hill Rd, Dallas, TX 75212 the long haired lot loader is a waste of space. And the cashier by the pro desk on Monday evening wasnt much better. She didnt know how to look up inventory so I encouraged her to try. She confirmed that they had 622 4x8x16 cap blocks in stock. So after three trys to get him to confirm I took the plunge and paid for them. Waited an additional 30 minutes only to watch the lot loader help three other customers while those of us needing lifting help waited. I finally gave up wandered around and found the blocks I needed in their back stock. Loaded them myself. Then my long-haired friend had the nerve to scowl at me as I drove off. That cinched it. This cat is worthless. Wandering around avoiding the labor he was hired to do.
I ordered a chest freezer at 12:30 thinking it would be ready after work. I arrived at 5:00 and it still wasnt pulled. After watching what was going on in customer service it was easy to understand. Three employees were there with only one helping customers. When another employee (Adolfo) showed up the others all left. He was finally able to talk the appliance department into pulling my order but getting help to load it was another story. He finally had to come from behind the counter and help me out. This location was terribly short staffed. In December no less. Two stars for management but five stars for Adolfo. Thanks again for your help.
Installation Dept at this store was terrible. They give you a date on when their coming out to install and never call or show up. I had to call them repeatedly just to get someone to come out. Their quick to take your money but fail to do their job. I will no longer do service or shop at this location.
After finding the lawn mower we wanted I go ask fir help 3 people at counter where entrance is at no acknowledging me what so ever I left pretending to look at my pretend watch and go ask for help around the aislesI find Ophie who calls for assistance on intercom and I go back and wait till Super Stephanie appears shes happy immediately helping me giving me points on the lawn mower and I ask her name cause hair was covering her name tagI am so pleased with my customer service from them I was almost about to leave but Thank Stephanie she made my day .And thanks to Barnard for helping putting i. truck 3 employees that made me Happy!!
Only one person asked if i needed anything the rest walk like zombies hoping you wont bother terrible customer service that needs improvement I needed A piece of plywood cut and the machine was not working so they said and suddenly the whole crew was trying to figure out how to fix it? supposedly because they all disappeared- should have all their machines Always working. So I left the $300 a/c i was going to take and went to home depot.
Staff really helpful but do not always have staff present in the mornings to ask certain questions. Lowes is one heck of a lot better than Home Depot. Some of the money you spend at Home Depot goes to right wing causes that does not support equality for minorities. Spend your money at Lowes if you believe in supporting platforms that are inclusive for every walk of life!
I went in there 3 months ago to get a white side-by-side refrigerator they told me I had to order it all they had was stainless steel I have several rental properties that has black and white appliances that did me no good I went in there today to get a white metal tub they tell me I had to order it Home Depot has them on their shelves why cant Lowes its a lot of wasted time going somewhere to get what you need and they dont have it a year ago I went in there to get Roundup its like $130 a gallon Ive always bought it from Lowes and they didnt have it had to order it online
I had gone earlier in the day to buy material for a project. I had told them that I would be back that evening for the pick up.well when I be back it took them over 49min to lete know that they had just started putting it together. Now I have pay an additional 200 dollars so the contracter to bay on a Sunday to finish the work. THANKS ALOT LOWS.
Hy this lady make me my day bad, I have credit, lowes card, this lady dont take my license nevada,@ mexican consular, passport, she dont take this 3 forms ID i try to pay 75$ doll and materials, I have 30 and credits this ladys dont take not even 1 ID she say is not valid, I dont understand way, I dont recommend this store this lady is incompetent, rude,not professional, no friendly, people in this store.not even say tank you
I ordered a riding lawnmower for around 1.5k and called ahead of time and they said it would be a couple days to be built. thats fine so i waited and called again and said it was ready and drove there. i got there and they tried to give me one that was worse than the one i ordered basic model, and then they wanted to give me a used one that was missing the steering wheel, and seat. then said they didnt have the one i ordered and they built at all. canceled my order and will never use lowes again. 0 STARS
This store would get 0 stars if it were an option. There was no customer service and wrong information given. I asked three different people to speak to the manager and all three had different reasons I could not speak to a manager. I was making a business purchase and left to go to another Lowes even though I was told by someone at the Chalk Hill store that they did not have any at the Lemmon store (they did).
Ordered a cooktop, got an email and a text that it would be delivered and it never showed up after staying at my house to wait for it. When I called the store they said it wasnt even in the system and would be delivered 2 weeks later. On that date, I called the store to find the delivery time and after spending 30 minutes on hold they said they were not sure when it would be delivered. Finally went to pick it up and took nearly an hour. Staff didnt seem to be in any rush to help customers.
Great place to shop at, very organized and nice staff. Cassandra is mainly the one i go to for any questions i may have. She always finds me a solution for everything. She is very professional, and helpful. Never do i experience a great service, as i do in this lowes.
The worst customer service ever! 5 employees walked right passed us while looking for a isle for a very specific item. Asked for help and was still ignored by the 2 men in mill work. Asked for a MOD and still nobody came, even the MOD. When asked for corporate nobody could tell me who the district manager was or where the corporate office was. FLOORED that nobody could help us. Maybe bc it was 2 women looking for help or bc the staff didnt want to work on a sunday. The absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I left my items right on the floor. I will not support a facility with employees like this.
Lowes is a good place to get home improvement supplies nothing special, the experience depends on how much knowledge the employees have. If they have little knowledge your visit will be frustrating. Check and see if they have competent staff before shopping if you are new to home improvement.
Purchased some cedar shingles from another location. Called before hand and had this store verify that they had the material in hand. They said they had 10 bundles so we proceeded with the purchase. Apparently they only had 5 bundles. Very disappointing. Guess I’ll be shopping at the orange store from now on.
Slow customer service. We were waiting for someone to come and make us a key but no one showed up. We ended up making the key ourselves on their machine and it wasnt the Minute Key machine either. If the machine is supposed to be self service, then they need to put that on the machine.
This Lowe’s at Chalk Hill in Dallas has excellent customer Service. RAUL at Pro Services and the young ladies there are awesome. They are always attentive every single time I come in to the store, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. It’s rare to find that level of service now a days. I highly recommend this Lowe’s over the competitor store which is perpetually lacking quality service.
These guys advertise that no hassle return policy but after my father got the wrong materials for a construction job in their home along with the wrong plants these people refused to take them back without the receipt even though I had talked to the people on the support number online and they said that it was no problem the people in the store contradicted it and refused to help me return these items even though I drove very far to get there
They have a good assortment of items here and way too much floor space..I am almost certain at this location they have a tremendous amount of theft.While I was here, i saw suspicious activity. They had a 50 percent sale on Christmas decorations but they jacked the price up and overpriced the items. Anyone would be a fool to pay what they ask for those decorations.
Didnt have to wait in line outside, to go in to shop. I know its for our own safety but there are other ways of doing this Safety Precautions and thats Checking are Temperatures when we go in and make sure everyone is wearing there Mask.We use to work at a Company where they were very Strict about PPE and that we were working Safe. We were 6 years with No lost Time we were #1 Company out of 9 Companies for 3yrs in a Row ,3 Safety Meetings per Day to keep up with Safety and reporting any UnSafe Equipment or Areas in the Company and how we could make things better for Our Customers as well for the Employees. Keep Safe everyone and Avoid Places where they dont Practice Safety , Remember your Families are counting on Us to be an Example to them.Avoid Snapping at Others because they Dont want to Follow Rules and Regulations, it will Only make things worse you could get into an Altercation with someone who is Infected and could Infect you. You can remind to were there PPE but you cant force anyone to wear it. Some People can be Stubborn or Probably cant Breathe under a Mask because of Complications with Asthma or Other Miscellaneous Problems. We are all Tired of this Nightmare but we have to try to Beat it by Being Safe, be Patient, and Respect others because they could be going through very Difficult Times in there Lives.
I spend over 10,000+ every year for the business I represent at this store or the other with the orange a apron. The problem I have been experiencing now is. Tools, no refund at all unless you have the receipt. Even if the tool is brand new, unused, seal, and in the package. It happen to me this past weekend. The tool is only sold at Lowes. The second one is, the store near 30 and Chalk Hill is not honoring the warranty on the hand tools sold exclusively by Lowes. Tools that are only sold at LOWES KOBALT. I took a pair of pliers that I broke by working in the tractor. When I presented to the return desk, the young lady told me, we dont warranty the tools. I told her, this is your product. She told me no but, let me call a manager. Manager told her the same. I walk to the tool department, grab a pair a tools, show it to the manager and he said, Ohh we were told not o honor the warranty but am going to make an exception. Guess were am going to get my supplies from now on? I will update this post with the managers name as soon as I can.Have a nice day
NEVER order anything online to be delivered from here. Delivery department was rude to me and could never get ahold of them after they would call me and ask me to call them back. The manager this particular day was apologetic and tried to be helpful and refund my money after I asked to cancel the order (due to the delivery guy scoffing at me after I said I worked as a teacher and couldnt answer my phone during the day or be home during the day). I wasnt refunded the whole amount and now, on a different day, I am sitting and waiting, not on hold, but they have put the phone down and walked away (going on 35minutes of silence now)...to try to get the rest of my money returned. It seems I have made it so complicated for them. No apologies given, just confusion and I am out of the loop. Whatever the ordering system is it has separated my order and they cant seem to figure out how to refund it, even though online it is one complete order with a # I can reference.I finally hung up and called back. The manager said she would do my refund in 5min. We shall see if it all gets refunded this time.
Well after all I decided to make this comment I am not one of the people who are making bad or good comments about the places but this time I am forced because I feel disappointed I tell you a little I went to get my eyebrows in June and I paid $ 300 for microblading and I had my touch up in July so I called to make my appointment and my surprise was that they give me the price with more than 50% of what they had told me previously, it seems very unprofessional to me that they dont respect the price that I already You have been given in advance so my recommendation is if you are going to this place, ask them in writing for the prices so that they are respected and what they will not happen to me, they had told me for the $ 99 touch-up and they increased it to 150, it is too much and even though they did a good job for me because of the lack of professionalism, I asked to speak to the owner and she never returned my call, I only received a text saying that they had to raise the prices because they s All costs for sanitizing products increased, and its okay for prices to go up if expenses increase, about $ 10 but an extra $ 50 is too much
If I could rate below 1 star I would. Do not purchase from BJ in appliances and shop at a different store. I was told over 2 weeks ago I would have my dishwasher delivered on or before may 5th. I called on may 2nd and they said it would be the 6th. I received no calls about the delay. I went to the store on the 5th to make a purchase and asked about my order. I was told it would be the 8th. I then get a call on the 8th and its still not going to be delivered and they couldnt tell me when it would be delivered. I canceled my order. I will not shop at this Lowes again.

Update: They are super close to my jobsite so o went to get water for my cooler, which they had. Of course when I asked for ice they dont sell that cause who wants cold water in their cooler? Im not even surprised any more.Not just this Lowes but Lowes in general, Im going to stop going. They have less and less for contractors and are shifting focus to the weekend warriors. I hope thats a winning strategy but I will be going places where I can get everything I need for my business in one stop.
I am a general contractor and I have 10 guys that go into the store and do phone sales constantly at different projects. At Home Depot if I need to return anything it’s right there on my pro account. I hardly return any large items, but the one time I need to Lowe’s makes it so difficult that my guy sits there for an hour and then they say that he needs to take back to specific store. I will be moving all my business to Home Depot! I spent over 20,000 at Lowe’s last year. I never have any issues at Home Depot!
Well, it was a lot of great deals going on today. Some of the long time employees very helpful. However, all the EXTRA seasonal helpers have NO idea where anythig is, beside, they ALL getter in the from of the store leaving all the costumers in the back wandering around. Cashier very young and 0 people skills. Today houndres if not thousands will came to your store, you got a GREAT oportunity for cahiers to encourage guest to charge everything at Lowes card. I do have a card , and I DEFINITELY thing you have a more superior store than the competition. Just need to TRAIN employees. You LOYAL costumer for life.
Never use their installed sales dept. Terrible service if you ever manage to get one of them on the phone. Took well over 4 months to get my installation done & then it was not even the item I had ordered & had to be redone. Now I need warranty service after less than a year & have been trying for over 2 weeks to get them to schedule. I will never even walk into this store again.
First time ever in this store, and was profiled from the time we walked in the door. Bought a door on clearance. Waiting on override the manager Brian walked up trying to make conversation and tried telling us we were just there the other day buying a bunch of stuff. And we laughed and said no but thats funny cause we felt followed and watched the whole time and he was so rude and continued talking over me saying he has a lot.of repeat customers and the funny thing is I have a not so normal hair color I told him. I walked away to go to bathroom cause of a cramping issues I was having then all of sudden my husband told me they had picked up some batteries off the cart that I was looking at prior to check out. Screw this store and Lowes period. Thats why I use home depot. We just happened to get a gift card for there from my mother n law.. so Brian try ur lies with someone else!
Walked in purchase a bag of grout turned around because I grabbed the wrong one took and hours at service desk if you want to call it that why does it take 3-4 people to help one customer I wony be returning to this location again 8 people in line and yall 3 stuck on one do yall know how to do yalls job and with no urgency two of yalls guys were there and they just walked when they could of helped or maybe not they looked lost too...get your act together guys..glad I only spent $5 imagine if I had 2 things to return
Supposed to have curbside pickup. But upon arrival, they told me that they arent set up for it and that I would need to come inside. No carts were available. Not nearly enough cashiers (only 2) for the number of customers in the line (consistently 30+) for the 45 minutes I spent having to find and hand-carry through the store.
Went to get a key made and just wanted one to open my van door in case i locked my keys in it. Well i wanted to be cheap cause my key has a chip in it and cost $75.00 i just wanted one to iopen my doors little did i know if i did that it would lock my anti-theft system up and cost me a bundle with ford dealer to unlock my computer. THANK YOU THANK YOU for having people who know what they are doing Debbie you saved me lots of money and headaches i would have never know what was wrong with my van and why it would not start.Thanks again I guess i should at least buy Debbie a hot dog l.o.l i L-owe you one.
Several Lowes associates helped me in the power tools department. They answered my questions regarding DeWalt 18 volt batteries. And they provided the location for Dewalt service Center to recycle old drill and non-working 18 volt batteries.BTW- new drill cost less than new batteries right now...
OMG...poor service and mangement .I ordered a washer to be delivered on Sunday. I was told by the manager that it would be delivered. I called Loews on Lemmon Ave and was told 4 times that the washer would be delivered. I waited and hour later to be told that. I was unreachable and the delivery would have to be the next day. A whole day wasted!!! I CANCELLED MT ORDER $592.17. LIARS. LIARS PANTS ON FIRE!!!!
I spoke to representative yesterday about my lawn mower she pretty much assured me that my lawn mower was going to be replaced I took it over to the store also she said to take it over to the store they would give me a new one so I get to the store and then they tell me that it can only be repaired and I would have to pay for Diagnostics also if it exceeded $102, only then I would be called to approve more then that.
I am a contractor and i am always shopping at Lowes. This lowes on chalk hill in Dallas sucks. I placed an order and i asked if the particular items would be plastic wrapped good and tight. Well it wasnt, itwas loose as hell. So i was given the plastic roll to tighten it all up. Mind you that there were a lot of slender pieces that can and did shift. Well i get the roll of plastic and wrap up the materials. A guy named Raul tell me well yells ot out to the store thats enough pladtic, im going to charge you if ypu use any more!. I bit my lip because i dont take kindly to people who lile to yell at ptjers to me that a man who wants attention. The long short, Lowes ,you have so many contractors making purchases from your pro desk. To have a pro desk advisor act out like this, is unprofessional. Ill now drive to anpther stpre a few miles away to avoid this nonsense. Lowes in Dallas on chalk hill, you have lost my business. Please help Raul conquer his little man syndrome.

2021-12-23Was buying 2 plant as Christmas gifts and when I went to pay at selfcheckout the cashier ran up to my register and pulled my card out of the card reader and pushed me out of the way. I told her why u pushed me and she said they are not ringing up correctly. Well as a customer I should be treated with respect and not a theft because they didnt do their part in putting the correct prices in their system. I will be calling corporate and complaining in the morning. This is not acceptable!!!!

2022-03-22DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE. People buy appliances here and return their old one in the box for a full refund. Paying customers wait 3 weeks to get someone’s old used dishwasher delivered. Already paid over 1k and then they get huffy when you tell them you cannot wait another 3 weeks for redelivery. Awful customer service. No one cares. No one answers the phone. They already have your money. Buyer beware!!!! Blame it on the pandemic. Sure.

2022-04-13I was impressed,when it comes to customer assistance this store is the best Ive seen yet and Ive been to a lot of different Lowes and home Depot stores every person that I saw and made any kind of eye contact with either greeted me or greeted me and asked if I needed any help. Staff look genuinely happy it showed that they liked what they do.

2022-06-08The store is always clean and organized, the employees are generally friendly and try to help. The downside is not many of the employees are knowledgeable in their departments. I don’t expect master plumbs and electricians but a basic knowledge would be nice.

2022-06-20This is the local Lowes that is trying harder.They have improved a bunch since I first bought supplies there,8 years ago, and they are helpful with phone sales. They have agiant plant and garden section with thousands of items, flowers,seeds, turf, potting soil. Also known as the west Dallas store,it really is right there by Cockerell Hill exit off I-30, so its handy.

2022-06-04Dont bother with the mobile app in this store. The last few times Ive been in there and looked anything up on the app, it steered me wrong. Most recently I got an app-driven tour of half the store looking for a simple garden hose. Five more minutes and Id have left for Home Depot or Wal-Mart.

2022-06-27Every time I go to buy lumber. And need it cut...you can never find someone to cut it..you see employee just talking with each other. They act like they dont see you needing help. The push button just keeps calling for assistance in lumber...but they said their not allowed to cut wood..can never find mangers. Mangers need to step up....
