Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
4K worth of appliances purchased, given a time frame of delivery between 1530 To 2000 verbally but 1600 to 2000 via email they call @ 1419 “over an hour early” to magically just drop off early and expect me to not be busy outside of the given/provided time frame THEY assigned, left my wife at restaurant to drive to catch up with the truck on 144 roughly 8 minutes from my house, they confirm they were way to early/ that they have my 4K in appliances, but I the paying customer have to pay for their mistake in now missing a 2nd day of work to make sure I meet their unrealistic delivery procedures and reschedule delivery, I wouldn’t say this is Lowes fault but lowes needs to stop outsourcing deliveries and start compensating the paying customer for the insane levels of hardship they or their outsourcing is causing said paying customers. as a veteran I’m about to swear off lowes and stick with Home Depot regardless of any “discounts” as this stress just isn’t worth it. I’m lucky my wife is so understanding and also needing a place to wash her clothes and store her food as am I LoL.
I am totally disgusted with Lowes. I expected more out of them. I went and picked up supplies. I took a hacksaw with me to cut the rebar down so I could get it in the vehicle. I didnt know how difficult it would be. I am disabled Vet and just couldnt do it. I asked at least 10 employees if they had something that would help me or a plug close to the door and I would go get my cut off saw. Every ONE of the employees stated I dont no or No. Not one said let me check or tried to help me. As I was walking back in to get a refund on the rebar I told my pastor who was helping me that not one person out of 10 had good customer service skills. One of the employees overheard us and actually said go somewhere else. My pastor was flabbergasted as I didnt hear it. I wish I would have though. I will never step foot in a Lowes or any subsidiary or other business that is associated with them ever. I will also talk anyone I know out of shopping there.Shame on you lowes for treating disabled seniors this way.
Lowes is the go-to place for home improvement projects and products. They always have what we need and want to complete the project.Using the Lowes credit card gives you a 5% discount which makes a difference for large scale projects and appliances. Veteran discounts are also applied when appropriate.Lowes building products are sturdy, of excellent quality, and last.At this location their restrooms are are useful for large groups, but are minimally handicapped accessible. They are not very wheelchair friendly. A typical wheelchair can be moved into the stall, but the door wont close for privacy. If you latched the stall door, you likely could not get back out.Using their electric power carts is a challenge in the restrooms. The big carts dont fit into the stalls, therefore you must be able to get from the cart outside the stall into the stall to use the toilet. The sinks are workable with a wheelchair or the cart. You would think that builders and architects would actually sit in the cart or wheelchair to make sure it works, especially in a building supply and home improvement place.Parking and entry to the building is easy. The electric carts are great and are most helpful for those of us with mobility handicaps and disabilities. We are returning satisfied customers.
They must have people with lower IQ working weekends. I do phone sales here about 4 times a week. Its Sunday. I just pulled down around $3200 in lumber. Manager told me I had to bring it to customer service on the other side of the store to do a phone sale. Well guess what. She said she couldnt do a phone sale becuase she didnt work in pro services. But your a manager. Customer was paying with a debit card and is 84 years old who lives an hour from this Lowes.
I was doing some preliminary scouting around for our house remodel. The men in the lumber department were incredibly helpful. They listened to my ideas and steered me in the right direction and even gave great pricing advice. Im thankful for their patience and concern. I will definitely go back when were ready to start the project.
I ordered an end table and called and asked if I could have the display because I had a total knee replacement and can’t squat or bend down now. Maria helped me get the display and loaded it into my vehicle for me. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Every company would be so lucky to have such an amazing employee!!!! Thank you Maria, you’re a doll!!!
I visited the Lowes in Granbury yesterday, late afternoon..the gates to garden center were all locked...entering main store..headed to garden center in need of paving stones. Long trek! A young man appeared his name was Randy, an associate. He loaded my stones on to a cart..and after paying..loaded in my SUV..placing a cardboard mat in car first, for protection. He was just the nicest and pleasant young man. He needs to be recognized for his great customer service! Lowes you have an excellent employyee.
It is a very clean store with people who go out of their way to help a customer. The lady in the garden section was above and beyond helpful to me when she pointed out a broken piece I had selected and even scanned prices of the different varieties to let me decide which I preferred. I am happy to go out of my way to this location.
Today my wife and I went to look at some building materials for a project we are considering. I found a PAIR of work gives I liked So I bought them. I used self checkout, after I scanned and placed the item in the bag the young lady came over and pulled out my PAIR of gloves to make sure both had scanned. I was so shocked I didnt and couldnt think of anything to say. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. She came short of accusing is of trying to steal the gloves. The lore I thought about it the madder I got. I know she has a job, but really? I used to shop exclusively here, I truly love the way Lowes treats our veterans. My wife talked me out of returning those gloves right then. This is a very angry US veteran.
Difficult to locate items. Improperly marked isles after retrofit. Only reason not giving 5 stars. Very helpful staff though so we got everything we needed. Also! Dbl check returned/re-shelved items. We bought a table saw that was clearly returned and taped back up (last one of what we needed). Missing pieces and manual. Put us behind on a big job!
Kimberly in mill work was horrible. I ordered a stoorm door and windows and during the process she acted like she didnt know what she was doing. I told her the dementions i needed and she still ordered them too small, she has no attention to detail and even forgot about a window i wanted to add! Thousands of dollars and now i have to start over. Lowes hires very uneducated people it seems. I would reccomend anyone shopping at lowes to go to curtis, he fixed my whole order and was knowledgable about everything including a wait time. Shopping at lowes from now on.
I have given this store plenty of chances to just be considerate and provide halfway professional customer service. Staff is short with you in the tool department, irritated when you may have a question about locating a product. Theyll tell you the product youre searching for doesnt exist (cordless 3/8 ratchet). They will become irritated when you ask to access the end cap theyre blocking with merchandise to be stocked. Lumber carts are always nowhere to be found. Asking about lumber carts, multiple staff (and customer service desk) told me to check the parking lot. They make it so difficult to spend money in their store.
If I could pick 0 stars I would. I tried to return Christmas lights that were still in the box in the Lowe’s bag and never opened. It’s Monday 12/28, the lights were purchased 11/22 and I have my receipt. I was told by by Michal Stranacher, Store Manager that he won’t take them back because Christmas is over. They still have Christmas trees, lights, and other decor out on the floor for sale. When questioned, Michael said you can still buy the decor but they won’t take it back for returns. He then asked me to leave the store. When I told him I would leave when I received my money back, he laughed and said I’d be standing there for a long time. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a retail store. I have been a customer of Lowe’s for years and spent many thousands of dollars there. I’ve enjoyed the 10% discount they offer us veterans. However after this terrible experience in the middle of COVID and the Christmas holidays, I will never shop at Lowe’s again.
I had 2 separate Special Orders that went several days past due date and had to call corporate office on both orders( ordered on separate occasions). Corporate called supplier, both times, and was told the order was not in stock and they estimated 8-10 months before possibly filling order. Both items showed available and 5-10 day to get! Bull S***. If supplier doesnt have it dont advertise it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is by far the worst Lowe’s in Texas, maybe even America. I have even sent messages that go without answers to the VP of the company on his LinkedIn profile about it. If weatherford or cleburne where not so far I would never spend another dollar here. 4 years of complete lack of leadership, proper training, employees who care and just general normal Lowe’s atmosphere. There have been less than 6 in 5 years of coming here I would call quality and all but 1 don’t with here anymore.
Bought a display refrigerator at a great price. We asked if anything was wrong with it besides the two dents and scratch on it. They replied, nothing else wrong with it. Bought it, picked up a couple days later as we were moving out of a hotel into a lease home due to our house flooding from winter storm. Rent a uhaul as to not to lay it down. Move it into the home, plug it in, nothing. Call the store, appliances finally answers phone, says to take it off display mode. I say, you cant, there is no screen lit up. He says, oh. Well it doesnt work then, just being it back, we will reimburse you. This thing is near 400 #!!. I call the manager Ronnie. Ronnie says , yeah, nothing else we can do, just bring it backNo offer to send anyone out, xall sumsung, or anything. Terrible custo.er service besides the guy named James, good kid.
I have a TERRIBLE experience with Lowes in Granbury after trying to buy plantation shutters it has been a total screw up and Lowes doesnt seem to own up to customer service. I placed order and PAID for the it but when it came to time to install the install brought half the order and the other have was wrong they are taking a long to complete this going on 3 months and its near impossible to get hold of management and if you call the regional office they dont answer, the voicemail box is full and the greetings tells you they are not open but the office hours are 8-5:30 ET.Lowes contracts this process of the shutter installs and dont seem to take ownership of the process. BEWARE doing business. I havent had this issue resolved yet ...
I like Lowes. They seem to have a better selection in the store of fixtures, flooring, etc. Home Depot seems better on lumber and any building materials. I would give them a 5 but have ordered pickup items that was a slow process when I picked them up. Home Depot has been better on pickup at their store. I ordered some lumber and other materials several times and they had the items picked when I arrived. I have ordered items from both stores to have shipped to me and both went well. We use Amazon quite a bit but I have found that many items that both Lowes and Home Depot carry are less expensive than Amazon.
I recently went to Lowe’s in Granbury in hopes of finding kitchen cabinets for a small barndominium. I wasn’t quite sure what I needed but when I described my building project to Karlyne, the cabinet sales specialist, she explained and showed me all the options. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and concerned that I was satisfied with my choices. Because of Karlyne’s excellent customer care and advice, I found exactly what I needed in a Diamond kitchen cabinet set. My experience at Lowe’s and especially the customer care service I received from Karlyne was exemplary!
Worse shopping experience ever at Lowe’s in Granbury 10:00am Sunday morning and Garden gates are not open yet. My husband had to load 20 40# bags of soil on a cart and push it down all the way to self checkout. Yes, NO other registers open. He had to enter each of the items into register (no multiple buttons). Cashier at the end just watched and didn’t offer help. The “placed bagged item” light kept going off. You can’t place 40# items in baggage area. She didn’t offer suggestion, just yelled at me when I took a planter pot off the baggage area. Then she finally asked after we had done everything if we needed help getting it Outside! What a joke.
Extremely friendly staff, in all sections, Valerie & Michele at the checkout register always goes above and beyond in helping, and facilitating the experience. Staff always available to ask for directions, advice and tools. I have used their delivery service, when I bought several pallets of rocks to edge my garden, the driver was courteous, clean and on time each time. The store is always clean. The garden center is well replenished with all plants. I have also used in store pick up, by ordering online. The checkout was easy and took less than 25 seconds. If you are DIY person, this is the place to go for all hardware and garden needs!!
I just went in to get a few items for a project and I asked several staff personnel where I could find some items and each one of them was super friendly, very helpful and very informative. At the check out the cashier was most helpful. The store was.very busy but the staff was there and ready to assist. Great experience.
I was on the phone with customer service this morning May 1 for an extended period of time. The service representative, Tiffany, was extremely friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to satisfy my situation. I tried to do the survey at the end of the call but the phone disconnected so hope this gives Tiffany the credit she deserves.
We purchased an appliance warranty from Loews on our Whirlpool washer and dryer. We never used the protection plan. A salesperson told us we could get a refund of the protection plan refunded since it had never been used. He told us this since we were buying a kitchenaide suite of new appliances for our new home build. I phoned the customer care department on his good advice and since I called them after the 60 day grace period, which I didn’t even know about until today, they refused to honor their refund policy. We buy all of our appliances from Loews, not only for our own home, but for our rental business. Not any more. New Order - canceled! Goodbye Loews and hello Home Depot!
Eric was so helpful. He remembered that I was sick the last time I came to Lowes with my husband. He came up to me and asked me how I was feeling. I told him much better. He was glad. He gave me a hug. He asked us if we needed help finding anything. Very good employee 👍😊
Lowes is and always will be my go to place for tools and hardware etc. Except when I need a specialty item. I have owned Lowes Kobalt line of tools and they are excellent and have never failed me in nearly twenty years. Their customer service is great and I have never had a problem with Lowes.
Very disappointed in the Granbury stores online order curbside pickup. Ive done curbside 3 times - 1st time was very efficient, 2nd time took 20 minutes to get an answer on the phone, 3rd time I called the number 15+ times and never received an answer. I had to go inside along with other online customers. Took another 15 minutes and the excuse was that the 1 person doing curbside was on break or just ignoring the phone. The service desk employees were very helpful but very busy with other customers. This curbside service that is offered to protect your customers and to make shopping more efficient is not working well and needs to be addressed before you risk upsetting your customer base.
Bought a fan about a year ago here. Got a protection plan for it (since it was a little more expensive than a standard fan). Had to return it because of a noise it started making. The young lady behind the counter was nice and courteous. She got my exchange made up and I went to look for another fan.Unfortunalty they were out of stock of the one I wanted. The young lady made me a cash refund right there. Great customer service and no fuss cash return ( with a receipt).
Just went to buy a weed eater. Got to the store around 8:15....asked about weedeaters was told someone would be sent to help. A few minutes later the young man that was in that dept came ,asked me a few questions about my use of a weed eater and pointed me to an awe some tool that I have already tried out and love! Oh and by the way i was on my way home in less than half an hour! If they are trying to turn their rep around as a store that gives you no help to a more efficient helpful place then they have gotten off to a good start. Keep up the good work!
I just got in town from working. I went to Home Depot to buy a deep freeze to fill up for my family and they were sold out. Home Depot even sold the floor models to help people out. But Lowes told me they will not sell me one of there floor models . Lowes does not care to help the working man. And the guy smiled when he told me he would not help .Stay away from LowesBobby Roach
Placed an order online and took over 24 hours for order to be filled. When I called was told it wouldnt be ready til the next day when they had plenty of the product in stock at the store. I was also told they would call or email me when my order was ready and 26 hours later I still never received a phone call or email. So I called the store and they said it was ready. Once my husband got there to pick the order up it took them 45 minutes to find it because where they said it was located it couldnt be found. If i had to do it over again it would have been faster to drive to the store and pick it up ourselves.
Im not sure why you cant find someone in the areas of each department. If you do find someone they have to call someone to assist you. Generally the person that you stop is busy with someone else already. I had to use the website to find prices for items on the shelves since those items were not marked. They also need to update where items are or have been moved to in order of finding items you need from the website. At least it put me in the general area to find things I was looking for.
Extremely difficult fo find an employee for help. Nobody responded when someone was called for us to assist and my husband ended up having to get roller stairs and get the giant heavy box down by himself. Manager seemed aloof and didnt seem to care. The only helpful and apologetic employee was Emily (blonde hair). Please give Emily a raise or a promotion, she was very sweet and was the only reason this wasnt a one star review.
Went in to pick up a few items in the garden center and proceeded to wait in line over 15 minutes, only to be told they were not accepting cash. After going to customer service they informed me that the computer crashed (yet they had been taking credit cards prior to that). Being lied to is worse in the long run than the wait. Customer service is totally lacking.
Waited 30 minutes and asked 2 different associates to please get someone to cut some plexiglass for me. No one wanted to help. I would not ever go to this place again. That was my first time in the store and I wasn’t impressed. It also seemed like the associates were avoiding customers on purpose. If u hate ur job then find a different one. I never did get my plexiglass by the way.
Rhonda a cashier screamed at me because I said no one has ever asked for our veterans ID because we are already in computer and I replied back that’s how you treat vets literally over 27cents!!! She then started throwing around her vest and still hollering here is my name just go to manager my husband served 2 times in n Iraq, well mine was in Vietnam with agent orange and suffering with dementia now and he didn’t know what to do made him more confused , I felt bad for him because he didn’t understand but he pulled out his card , I did go to some woman (I don’t think she was manager material) but she said they changed the rules!!! Really I was in there 2 days before!!!!
I was planning a major kitchen remodel, but had a couple of false starts with Contractors. I finally approached Karlyne Van Daele at the Granbury store to help me design exactly what I wanted. She is extremely talented and helped me incorporate my Pinterest ideas into an actual floor plan. She educated me re: fit & finish, add ons, and different wood and door style choices. She gave me a realty check when she priced out the various components of the Project - which I did have to scale back.In the end, I chose a local Contractor who works with a custom cabinet maker, so I only used the floor plan provided by Lowe’s, but Karlyne’s work helped give me absolute confidence in my choices. Thank you!p.s. I did buy ALL my kitchen appliances at Lowe’s
I went to lowes in Granbury Texas 4 times today trying to find the right solution for my flex pipe that was in my kitchen sink so that I could add a ice maker line and on the 4th attempt I asked Phyllis for her help and she walked up and down 3 isles 6 times just to find 3 parts that I had no clue about. I loved her dedication to customer service and making sure I found what I was looking for. We need more dedication like hers in every store. I personally nominate her to be the next employee of the month.
If lowes sells a certain chainsaw, doesnt it make sense to carry chainsaw blades for that particular saw. This is common at most all lowes in the metroplex. Sure have plenty of blades for saws they dont carry. Wake up. Oh yeah, 27 % on my lowes card. Im done with you all.
I was not happy. I could not find what I was looking for, nothing was in the right place. One man said he would get me some help from someone in hardware department, because he didnt know. But no one ever came, finally gave up and left without getting all that I came for.
Stay away if possible this has to be the worst store in history I have had numerous problems from ordering products and never receiving a call to a rude lady that works the pro desk telling a disabled veteran that he could load his own 6x6 8 foot post because as she said anyone can do that again go to cleburne or another location

2021-06-02I would like to tell you all that The Lowes in Granbury are really amazing people. I have lived at the Cresson Pods now for almost 3 years and even though i rent i love to garden and just do stuff in my small little piece of yard. I have spent well over $2K in the past 2.5 years at lowes for my little rented house and every time i go there i find the Lowes people are very helpful with my amateur gardening skills and many questions. Even though i rent my house, working on my yard keeps me Level from all the craziness that goes on in our daily lives. So when you go to Lowes, just keep in mind they are people too and be patient. The sad part about all this is that the property Manager is putting pressure on me to take it all down...i might have to move. Ugh......... I dont want to give up on my garden. Anyhoo thank you LowesUPDATE 5.30.21 YAY , the management and i came to an agreement and the garden and beautification of my rental gets to stay and so do I !!!!!

2022-04-19Never any KNOWLEDGEABLE employees around to assist and those that are simply tell you what isle products are located on...I guess walking a customer to an item and helping them pick the right product is outside of the scope of their work duties.

2022-05-21Youre more likely to find what you are looking for here than at Home Depot, but it is still a crapshoot. Better off ordering online in most cases.

2022-01-14Surprisingly empty of employees. Hardly any customers in the store. Took some time to get assistance with my sought after hardware. Almost looked as if the store was closed. When an employee finally arrived he was very helpful with everything I needed.

2022-03-26Helpful staff noticed I was looking for something and asked me what I needed help finding. Nice change after getting used to having to hunt down an employee to ask at other businesses.

2022-01-10With our bedroom and master bathroom remodel weve spent alot of time and money here. Youre going to get help instead of having to hunt someone down. There are several employees that stand out. Karlyne in kitchen design and cabinet area saved me alot of stress with dreaded color choices in the master bath. She flipped out a cabinet sample that matched my vanity and pulled me and my mess together in no time at all. She has some mad skills and a gentle nature that cant be beat. Another stand out is Zach. Hes back towards plumbing and bathroom hardware. Hes spent alot of time with us hunting down things on the phone and computer to get us what we want and love. I should mention their lumber is better, cleaner and doesnt get picked over and left out for that very reason. Another quick shout out to Kimberly in windows! I think shes new and yet shes on that phone calling, emailing and updating my husband on our windows and hes pointed that out to me twice during this project so it matters to him. When she said she was going to do something like email or call with each window project, thats what she did and even pinned down further by what time shell have it done! As you know, that is rare! My point is that this Lowes in Granbury hires QUALITY PEOPLE and you know, it REALLY makes a world of difference! Thank yall for getting it done and making it happen! We are very happy customers!

2022-04-09Always love lowes. If I had an unlimited credit card Id hit lowes first lol but ran in to get chainsaw to cut down a loose tree from all the high winds. I was approached while looking at them and was helped to find the right fuel, bar oil, and extra chains. Anything I needed. I wish I would have gotten his name but he was really on top of it that day
