Lowes Home Improvement in other cities:
A couple weeks ago I bought two bags of supposed top soil. When I spread it into my flower bed it had a few chunks of yellow clay. After it laid there for a few days it all turned yellow - it actually was ground up, darkened clay, rather than top soil! This last Saturday I purchased two bags of garden & vegetable soil which said it also contained fertilizer and spread it over the clay topsoil. This morning there are hundreds of tiny toadstools sprouting up in the flower bed!I dont think Ill ever again buy bagged top soil or garden soil frome Lowes!
I had to pick up an order a customer had purchased on line.Somehow the person doing the pick up work was pulled into returns and that held up the process for over 20 minutes just waiting with no acknowledgement of waiting. Took interrupting a third person also working the return to get item ordered. Just a mess sad service.
The variety of selection at Lowes seems to be pretty good. The prices arent any better than other places. The worst part of Lowes is the checkout. There are no self-check lanes. At 9:30 on a Tuesday morning, there was one checker with 6 people in line. Floor people were all over the place, but none offered to help check out. Ive been at other times, and the lines were just as bad.I bought a window unit A/C. Got it home, and it was severely damaged. Had to take it back.
Water heat broke. Filled out the paperwork on Wednesday. An independent contractor called same day, but due to the ice storm predicted for that night,I was unable to get an appointment for estimate until Friday. I was told they would be at my house between 1&3. Also told I would get a call 30 minutes before they arrived. At 230 when I had not received a call, I called only to be told that they couldnt come that day. I was told that I didnt get a call letting me know because they are short staff and working remotely. Saturday afternoon rolls around and they show up, only to estimate $2,366.67, and told that it would be Monday before they would do the actual replacement. I said no. I was able to get it done that day at half the cost. That included the needed stand and the drip pan.
Im not sure where to start, but for the sake of not leaving a novel to read... False advertising in regard to inventory and such. Staff lying to avoid any extra effort. They count floor models as available inventory online to get you in the store, but then refuse to sell them. (These were the words of a Lowes employee, and not my assumption). Wasted hours of my husbands time.
I was impressed and grateful for how helpful the team was. The gentleman helping process my returns was patient and made it all work. And Nelson went out of his way to help me locate all the supplies I needed and even listened as I called my husband in to learn what we needed and then recommend a solution. He was incredible.
This has got to be the worst Lowes in the country. I have spent tens of thousands if not hundreds over the past 19 yrs at lowes and always loved it until I came to this store on Saturday January 1 and Sunday January 2. 2022.I purchased an LG washer and dryer. The clerk rang it up as carry with, although I told him I would be back later that day (Jan 1) or the next to pick it up. KELLY, the store manager wasnt available at the time to resolve the price issue. As the sales guy told me half off the current retail price .. which for the washer is $949 but the sign was inc orrect and had $1170. I didnt see the need to argue with the manager on duty, David , as he was cold and didnt even make eye contact. Ipaid and left. Tbey closed at 6 on Jan 1 so I I returned Jan 2 to pick up the items and hopefully speak with Kelly. No luck. I showed my receipt and was given 12 minutes of attitude and insinuation as if I had carried the items out and was here again to try and get a. 2nd washer dryer set for free. The lady behind the counter gave me a dirty look and said, we will have to check the cameras if they are not here.To the great managers of Lowes , Gary of Keller (rip) who converter from the orange to the blue and Bruce from Euless. I will continue to patron your locations. Kelly at Euless. I hope you and your staff can be better.

My wife and I had the nicest experience with a young man named Nelson at the Hurst store. He went out of his way to ensure we found the items we needed, even checking the inventory at other stores. Thank you for taking the time in helping us find what we needed and saving unneccesary trips to other Lowes stores.
Sorry to do this. Used to love Lowe’s but appliance delivery let us down badly. I don’t do this lightly. Was extremely late and didn’t finish our install. The most upsetting part was getting an automated call saying 10 minutes away and not coming for over an hour. It caught me off guard. Didn’t expect it. I called the store and got put on hold and eventually no luck getting anyone. I won’t go into why didn’t get our ice maker installed but I am just extremely disappointed as a veteran knowing how Lowe’s is as a company and how they are veteran friendly.. it really sucks that a company I held in such high regard let me down so badly. I honestly just wanted a new refrigerator and ice maker. I really didn’t think it would be this.
Special Thanks to Kelly the store manager and Don at the pro desk in Hurst. You were instrumental in helping us achieve our goal to revitalize the 12 homes on Olive street in Hurst, Tx. Thank you again for your support and your graciousness to supporting us which in turn serve the residents of Hurst.
I used to be a very dedicated Home Depot customer but over the years I have learned to appreciate the variety of goods at Lowes. I am always able to find the right nuts, bolt, or odd thing for apartment repair. I have been able to get personal projects done and restore some wooden art.I now have a nice bird feeder that the wild birds go crazy for and a nice woodpecker home as well. This location in particular has good service personnel and a great outdoor food vendor as well I highly recommend. You got a Lowes customer convert.
I love the products at Lowes but customer service is non existent. Three times I have attempted to get help with shower stall. I needed to schedule an appointment to have someone come measure and install one of the stalls they sell.. Three times I waited where I was told to wait and no one came to help. I will go elsewhere (probably Home Depot) and see if they can help me.
First let me say Tiffany was awesome! She is very friendly, courteous and professional.I placed an order online for pick up. Upon arriving to pick up my order, I noticed that the quantity was not correct. I advised Tiffany and she immediately apologized and checked stock to correct. She then said she needed to speak with the manager. He then stated that the vendor made an error online and it was not the price and quantity as it was when I purchased . I told him I can understand an error but if I purchased it as advertised, I expect them to honor that price. He continued to go on and on and about the vendor , no apology or anything. MY problems is, I didnt purchase from the vendor, I purchased from Lowes and whatever mistake was made online, they should take that up with the vendor but honor it as advertised. He then started to speak louder ( not yelling but his whole entire tone did change) saying that it wasnt advertised. Advertised listed whatever term you want to use, it was advertised as such and I should be allowed to pick up my purchase as paid for and ordered online. He then said they did not have a quantity of 6 only 2. I asked could he then just average it out as cost because it was advertised as a quantity of 6, he refused to do so. I requested a refund. Poor customer service to not honor an advertised price.Again, Tiffany was very nice .
I found an inexpensive chair perfect for an outdoor nook. Lowes site said, pick up today under the chair. I went to the Hurst location that had at least 20 of the same chair in stock. But, they refused to honor the price. So, although it said pick up today , you could not without paying the higher price
This Lowe’s is a bit of a drive for me, and I pass a Home Depot on the way to it. Needless to say, they must be doing something right since I continue to come back so often! The staff is always friendly, and they always have what I need in stock. I also appreciate their company culture. They are very supportive of our troops, and I really respect that. Please continue to do business as you do, you’re a leader in the industry, and I really appreciate it.
Staff is super helpful. Store is super clean and I always am able to get exactly what I need to complete a project. If I cant find what Im looking for the employees are happy to help me find it or if its out of stock happy to recommend a place that would carry it. My first stop when I need supplies for a repair or project.
Just sat on hold for 25+ minutes with customer service, finally I hung up and called back. After waiting 3 minutes for an answer someone picked up and before I could say a word she had me back on hold. Infuriating, I was just in the store and there certainly was not a line to necessitate a 30 minute wait.
Customer service is terrible. Dont bother trying to call them. Ordered a refrigerator and a water connection hose for delivery, and paid for haul away of old unit. Due to a plumbing issue, they could haul away the old unit when they delivered the new unit. After they left, I realized they did not leave the hose needed to connect the new unit. After an hour on hold trying to get someone from the store on the phone, I had to drive to the store to get the hose. I tried to call the store the yesterday to reschedule the haul off, and could not get anyone to answer. I drove to the store again and they said they scheduled the pick up for today, and gave me a 4 hour window. After the window ended, I tried again for an hour to get someone on the phone. Once again no one answered and I had to drive to the store again. Customer Service Manager said that I should not have been given that time window. When I asked why no one was picking up the phone, he claimed that they had not had any calls. He had no good explanation when I showed him my call log that had me still on hold with them when I entered the store.
We bought a fridge at this store, the original apliance guy Steve was really nice and very informative.Something happened at the delivery date, it was supposed to be at Wednesday but I found out that it was supposed to be delivered the next day.(wich I could not do)I try to call several times to fix the issue but people just keep transferring me to a different department, every body seem to be too busy, I finally talked to a lady at the apliance department she promised to call back since she was talking to a costumer, she never did.I tried to talk to Steve but he was off.Later at night I received a call from the delivery service saying they would deliver the next day!!!!!So I call back the lady and she said she called-wich she never did- she was very rude and and she said she call back again because she was still busy.I decided to get a refund. This people have no sense of responsibility, they just won’t try to help so why would I buy stuff from them. They are lucky to have Steve on their team.
Went in for a replacement water filter for my Samsung refrigerator that we bought from this Lowes. The lady helping me couldnt. I had a different brand filter and was looking for the same brand or equivalent. Not finding what I needed or looking for a cross reference she just mentioned that I may have to order online and walked away. I say if you sell the refrigerator you should carry the part. I spent 5 minutes looking up the info myself on the internet and yes, it was on your shelf. Why do you want to send business to Amazon? If I wanted bad customer service I would have gone to Home Depot.
DO NOT PURCHASE BIG ITEMS HERE! We bought a fridge online and it was scheduled to be delivered later that week. A woman called the day before the delivery date and said the fridge was out of stock and she would reverse the charge. A month later and we still have not received a refund. When we call, no one can reverse the charge and they hang up on us. Plus our fridge went out so we paid $500 on top of the $1800 for a fridge we never received. How can they sleep at night treating customers this way?! Save your $ and go somewhere else!!
We ordered a weber grill, twice! The first one had some scratches and a broken wheel but we accepted it because they took 15% off. However, after the delivery guys left, we tried to turn the grill on and it wouldn’t light. So we ordered the same grill and it was delivered the next day. This grill was even more scratched than the first one so we refused to accept it. Lowe’s uses a third party for deliveries so no one takes accountability on who messed up the grill. I recommend buying appliances from companies who do their own deliveries. Reduces the blame game. Now I’m hoping that we receive the credits on our credit card.
Just had a horrible experience with Lowes delivery. They went to my neighbors house to deliver the dishwasher I purchased, insisted that GPS told them that was where to deliver the item, and said their attempt to deliver it there {and the neighbors would have kept it} was no big deal because no one was home. They then got mad at me, falsely accused me of calling them a phrase I never use, and literally DROPPED the dishwasher in my front room, instead of delivering it where it belonged. I called Lowes and after 10 minutes on hold, drove to the store, where the asst mgr said that they outsource delivery, and the same employees would be the ones to pick up any exchanged item. He did, at least, note the account so if the electronics fail due to it being dropped, they will exchange it{with the same incompetent and rude workers, I suppose}
The worst customer service ever. We ordered a washer n dryer and fridge. We were suppose to receive our items on a Tuesday. We received a washer, a dryer with no cords, and no fridge at all. We then received the rest of our items on Thursday to find out the washer doesn’t work. Now we wait til Sunday to receive a new washer and what did we get through all of this. The most lame duck apology ever from Michelle. I will never do business here again. I would suggest you do the same.
Only one checkout on a Saturday? Seriously? This is unacceptable. Your competitors have at least made self checkout a reality. The only person who helped me was a salesman from Bayer. Thankfully he knew where the grass seed was! I will be shopping across the street from now on.
Looking for appliances????Bad news, had to scan QR code to see if they have item in Wharehouse if not they have no idea when item would be available, why? Who can guess...Covid (Ugh)This is going to be one interesting move, no doubt!(Anybody know where I can get washer/dryer and refrigerator this weekend????) Race is on...Still love my local Lowes people are great and prices fair!
I purchased all my equipment for my new home in October from Lowes & the leaf blower stopped working only after 2 uses. I returned to the store to obtain my receipt & received the worst customer service from Grace to reprint 2 receipts has taken 15 minutes now!!! A manager has finally come to assist & we are 3 minutes into this!!! Home Depot here I come.
Ill make this short because its a long story I called up to Lowes trying to find if they had an attachment for my weed eater I was shopped around to every department except the one I wanted I was hung up on I was told I could not be helped because they didnt know anything so I finally talked to Ashley the manager and she hooked me up she found the part that I needed she gave me a 25% discount because I was on hold and got hung up on for over an hour so in order to keep me as a customer she did that and Im very grateful to her thank you Ashley for your fine service
We wanted to return our dead plants (little trees) and their customer service staff said we just need to take a photo of the dead plants and the transaction record to get the refund. So we got rid of the dead plants but now they say they need us to bring the plants. The plants are tall and it wouldn’t fit into our cars. The worst service ever! Don’t ever come to this store!
Not very good service. I had to look up my own model number at customer service. I thought customer service could help me with issues like this. No item number was on the photo I brought in for the items I was looking for. They said the didnt have the item I wad looking for, I dont believe them. Its ok, Ill take my money somewhere else.
Ordered a dryer weeks ago to be delivered today. Called to check on the delivery. Order cancelled, with no notice to the customer. The manager had no explanation and offered no help. Far below expected customer service. When he suggested we try somewhere else, we thought, good idea. Adios Lowes.
This is the best Lowe’s in DFW BY FAR!Michelle Trautman was our sales specialist and let me tell you, she was amazing! Very polite and actually worked to find every appliance we needed for our new home. Very knowledgeable and with a great spirit! Last week we were looking at the Lowe’s in Southlake and it was a nightmare. No one wanted to assist and one actually said “did you check online we might have it” and just walked away. Hurst might be a bit far from our home but that’s where we will be coming to purchase anything we might need from now on!
I have bought many home improvement items here and other Lowes stores, but on this occasion they disappointed me. I was looking for standard white 4 1/4 inch square tiles to repair a patch in a shower whose pipes had been damaged in the recent freeze. They only had one white tile and it was 4 inches square so would not match the existing size of tiles in my shower. These are standard size so I was very surprised and I ended up getting 20 tiles at Home Depot across the street for 8 cents each. I am sure Ill come back but I will likely go to Home Depot first next time.
I LOVE this store, usually. Today mustve been a bad one for them. I went in for a light fixture, saw a lady at the terminal in that dept, she said she was off the clock. Ok, no problem. Kept looking for an associate, found one, she saw me and walked away down another aisle pretty quick. I can take a hint. Guess Ill get my stuff on amazon this time.
We found a door online and went to the store at Hwy 121 and Glade to see it in person. There was no one in that department to help us. We went to Customer Service to see if they could send someone to help us. Someone came while we were on our way back from Customer Service (at the other end of the store), didnt find us there, and left. Fortunately, a vendor who knows him went to get him, but he didnt work in that department and didnt know much about doors. We ended up going to another Lowes.
Walked around the store for 20 min and couldnt find the drywall. Had multiple employees walk right past me as I was trying to ask for help. Spent more than I was expecting because the things I needed were not prices. I thought the prices would be reasonable, turns out, not so much. Will not be coming back.
Rude customer service representative. You’d think that Lowe’s should have the best customer service personal working at their customer service desk instead they have a “rude” representative who talks over the customer and will not allow the customer to speak resulting in not understanding the customer concern! Store management should remove this person to the floor or if he doesn’t like his job he needs to quit but customer service means customer service literally!!!After many years of loyalty to Lowe’s I’m switching to the Home Depot which by far have the best customer service. Lowe’s lost my business and soon enough they were those other people business if they continue with this attitude. One more thing, I never can get help from anybody at Lowe’s when I’m walking in the store employees who best me would look the other way to avoid me asking for help which is different then the Home Depot where several employees will ask me if I need help without me asking, it’s a big difference.
I came to the store pay for a door to get pick up and installed by Lowes on Friday at noon. I call numbers of times to find out the status of the order cuz by 7pm Friday night I havent heard from them still. I told them on Tuesday how important it was to me to have this door installed asap, I need to have the place inspected and rented asap. Lowes never call or text me to set up an appointment for the delivery. If I had more time to have this door installed I would cancell this order and go to Home Depot instead. Home Depot has much better customer service more knowledgeable people and do follow up with customers. I wish I could give Lowes 5 star review negative for delaying my order that I pay almost $400 total. Now they are costing me money by not passing inspection and renting asap, thanks Lowes
I continue to get the best deals at Lowes. I finally was able to find flooring for the best deal ever. Kristy, in flooring, and David her boss were super helpful, friendly, professional, kind and communicative. There was a miss understanding on the price quoted and they were people of integrity and honored what was communicated. I honestly can say that if you want a deal and have a budget ask the staff. There are discontinued items at great discounts. Just ask. They want the business, will work to earn it and want to move the inventory. I am so pumped about my purchases from Lowes!!!
Kevin in the paint department was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and really took time to help us with what we needed for painting our front door. He didn’t rush through anything he was beyond helpful he went above and beyond what I expected. I don’t write reviews unless I’m really moved to. If you have any paint questions or anything related to that area, brushes, additives, putty, calk etc. he is your guy! Thanks for all your help today Kevin!
The Lowes in Keller is closer to me however I come to Hurst because of their garden center. There selection of indoor plants is always superior to the Keller location. The staff, on the other hand, is a mixed bag. Ive found some employees to be very helpful while others are actually rude.
Gaby from the garden/plants section was AMAZING and super friendly. She helped me locate exactly what i was looking for and made the whole thing very simple and easy while being incredibly friendly and up beat. Definitely going to continue going to Lowes from now on for my gardening needs
Normally, I am pleased with the service and selection. But today the store was a wreck with orders waiting to be picked up. The Lowes website indicated that they had the material I needed, but alas, I couldnt find it. I asked one of the employees for some help, but he had no idea what I was talking about. All in all, a somewhat dismal outing.
I shop here always but I tried to return an item today. There was a long line (not meaning the six feet in between) and only one person helping people with three other people behind the counter and at the desk in the office. One would think they could have called for help or the supervisor or manager at the desk could have helped out for a few minutes. Honestly most of the time they are great. This was not a virus thing, rather an everyone standing around thing.
Lowes associates are very helpful. Several times weve been in and were helped with projects. They typically have everything that we need to get the job done. Their credit card is helpful for large purchases because we are able to save 5% with each purchase. I also like that I can pay off the debt in store that day. Lowes is typically a one stop shop.
Ive always got good service from Lowes. They take the time to find out what you need and show you where it is. Any questions you may have they can answer, even go as far as asking the right questions to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. Good selection of products for all of your home projects. Seriously great customer service.
I really like this Lowes. Its pretty clean and organized. Im also impressed with their sales and clearance items! The team is pretty friendlyYou probably wonder why the 3 star and not a 4 or 5 star.A 5 star is a perfect score and really hard for many to meet that high standard. A 4 star is almost perfect. The reason for the 3 star is; I remember times youd walk in and if you made eye they immediately asked if they can help. The last few times including today. I was a non-existing customer walking around Lowes. Prior to todays experience I asked for assistance, the worker was unsure if they had a product I was looking for but if they had it, it would be on isle (?) towards the back. I really the experience before when they would walk with you to the area and help you find what youre looking for.
I needed some paint matched for some wall repairs but the color was no longer available. Understandably because it was from 2011. Fortunately, I called and spoke to Kevin in the paint department and he went above and beyond to help. Not only was he able to find the formula but he worked on it for a PERFECT match! He also talked me through the best way to make the repairs so that it would blend beautifully. Kevin cared enough to make sure I had not only the paint but the knowledge I needed to do this project. Lowe’s is fortunate to have an exemplary employee like him.
Im in the midst of a remodel and returned three new unopened toilette seats, because I decided I didnt need them. The clerk questioned if anything was wrong with them, and I simply explained I no longer required them. It was a slap in my face when she whipped out a box cutter and opened three new untampered packages. Really?! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
The customer service & store opening hours are deceiving. As my husband & I walked to the door, which didnt open; two salesman proceeded to walk pass the door TWICE, not acknowledging us AT ALL, and it was 6:45am. The hours of operation clearly state the stores open at 6am.
Called the curbside pickup extension three times, got hung up on three times. Very annoying.Hooking up the dryer I bought, discovered the 4 inch clamps on the order form had been substituted with 3 inch, which obviously wont fit, necessitating yet another trip to the store. More frustration. Not real happy with Lowes right now.😡
I know that every store and company is doing their best during this covid 19 situation. Lowes offers in store pick up as well as curbside. I didnt know that curbside was an option or I would have selected it during my ordering process, especially after having to wait in their in store pick up line. I got an email that my item was ready so I went to the store. I was waiting in line for at least 15 minutes with people not minding safe distances (not necessarily Lowes fault). When I got the the counter there were 2 registers running but 3 employees. One with her mask over her mouth but under her nose. The guy at the register pulled up my order and then told the girl to go get it... Why it wasnt already pulled? She told him no. And then winked at me. And then didnt go and get it... Not exactly good customer service. So the guy at the counter left the register to go pull my item off the shelf, again why wasnt it already ready? I had to again again at least 5-8 minutes for him to go get it. In total I was in the store almost half an hour when I could have just gotten it myself in less time or gotten curbside (didnt know that was an option, now I do). Not my best lowes experience and I hope they improve on this during the covid situation.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! If there was no stars, I would just leave the comment with no stars.I ordered 2 doors, one 90 inch by 36 inch. Costum, and I ordered a French door. 2-32s by 90 inch. The doors took ONE MONTH TO GET TO LOWES. Then i see them, they are all so damaged and wood is chipping out. (The French door had water damage) that was the wires money I’ve ever spent on foot. 1300$ plus. The job was sitting for a month with no doors. And now I’m taking this doors back and get my money back. Horrible place. Oh, and the people are so lazy. They see me loading up 2 huge doors and no one offers to help. So disappointed. I should of just gone to home depo. They never have that problem. Never shopping at Lowe’s from this location again.
Terrible service!! I had a date for delivery scheduled for a week and a half out and they postponed the delivery, the day before they were schedule to make the delivery. They stated, their truck broke down and they dont have another truck. I have someone scheduled to do some landscaping work for me for the day the delivery was scheduled. Very disappointed.
What can I say I have never had a bad experience at Lowes including this location. The staff is super knowledgeable and super courteous and theyve pretty much help you out with everything and anything whether if its over the phone or in person. And make sure you stop by the little Food Shack they have outside the Philly cheesesteaks are really good.
It was alright can’t remember why I went would recommend for all your home improvement needs. Plenty of parking options for the good old big rigs people drive. Please be mindful of people walking throughout the car park and there wasn’t walkways for people’s safety. Lowe’s is a mass chain with good lows prices
We came in at 8:40 pm on 9/27/19. We could not get any help. We asked a checker to call someone, and she did, but no one ever came. I ended up climbing up the employee ladder myself to get something off the top shelf. I stayed on the top of the ladder for about ten minutes. Several employees walked past the end of the aisle, looked right at me on the ladder, and just walked by without checking on why they had customers climbing ladders. I thought for sure that someone would finally come assist us if I was up there, but they didnt. I was wearing a gray tshirt, shorts, and flip flops, so I definitely didnt look like an employee up there. We needed two ceiling fans, two additional light fixtures, and some high-end air conditioner filters. We ended up spending $460 in your store today, but that was only because I was tired and didnt want to go anywhere else at that point. I am so disappointed in the absolutely terrible service.
Had one of my employees buy 5 gallons of paint. The girl who loaded it in the car did not tighten lid. Paint split everywhere in car. The manager Tony negotiated with my 16 year old employee to give us 5 cans of free paint and called it even. No paperwork was signed or anything. There was 3000.00 of damage in the car, family bibles were ruined! His parents filed a claim to insurance and Tony said the only way hed let them do that is if we pay for the free paint he deviously offered in return for the damages! Very shady business would not recommend.
Lowes is one of my favorites for a go to hardware store. They usually always have what I am looking for. The pricing is reasonable and the selection of products is great. I have purchased everything from major appliances to a simple washer for a faucet here. Also it is one of the last bastions of a truly mens store around. I am not being misogynistic here. There is just something about a hardware store that makes men want to shop there. All in all a great place.
I was looking for a drill, trying to decide between a corded or battery powered tool. An employee helped me find the location and answered questions and helped see the advantages of each. I purchased a lithium battery drill that was light weight, inexpensive and came with the battery and charger. He also helped me locate the right size drill bit to install the smoke detectors that I also purchased. When I first arrived at the store I asked an individual for the location of the smoke detectors and she helped me locate them. When I was ready to check out I found I was only forty dollars short to be able to use the six months interest free option. She held my purchases while I looked for another product I needed to make the minimum $299 purchase. Altogether a very pleasant experience because of the helpful employees.
This is our go to Home Improvement store usually, but sometimes the employees are not around to help and it makes searching pretty difficult. On the other hand, there are days when every employee is willing to help and go out of their way for us. Sometimes, we cannot find anything that we need here so we have to go to Home Depot, but we have the same issue at Home Depot. Overall, we do prefer Lowes to Home Depot.
I called to ask about truck rentals. After choosing the appropriate department, the phone kept ringing as no one would pick-up. After about four minutes of ringing, I figured they must be busy, the line picked up but was immediately placed on hold. No, no one answered, I was just put on hold without any acknowledgment. I was on hold for ten minutes, before Christian(From Customer Service) answered to then tell me,”yum, we don’t do that here”...then why does the webpage say you do?🤷🏻♀️This location has the worst customer service department! First, if the phone rings...answer it and acknowledge the customer rather than letting the phone ring and ring. Second, don’t have the customer wait for ten minutes on hold after you place them there without acknowledgement!
This store remains understaffed and the quality of staff is pretty low. I needed help with a simple question so the cashier paged staff for help.....3 times. I turned around and a staff member was just standing there talking to someone killing time. After walking around for another few minutes I found someone that helped......Its on isle 14. What differentiates this store from the home Depot is that there is never a shortage of someone willing to help AND will walk you to the isle that your needed stuff is at.
Disappointed again when will I learn. The employees are surly they look the other way when you try to get their attention. I have had good encounters with a few , I have to be honest, the lead or asst manager are helpful if you get lucky an bump into them. The appliances and customer service areas good luck. What the heck is so hard about helping a customer. Hate to say it but I will be back to close to 20. Yall try a little harder to be nice, and I will to.
Ordered shower kit and door and took two months to find out the pan and walls were damaged upon receipt. They never communicated with us about the first of several time they damaged the product and also made credits and purchases without a call to us. Im going to Moores supply for shower kits after that experience. It seems to be the case Lowes cannot not handle large products with care. There was a forklift hole in the shower walls when I received it.
Employees seem bothered when you need help. Act as if they can only stand in one spot & cant move. Went to Home Depot looking for & found my item because someone took the time to leave a spot & show me my options & explain them to me. I told her my issues with Lowes & she even took $5 off my item for the trouble I had at Lowes. Home Depot is my go to store now.
Well I think they need to inform you that you need to buy the power cord separate when you buy new dryer. I had to go back there and the lady who sold me the dryer or ANYONE in the dept. Was not there, And had to wait for for someone from the service desk to come and wait on me. Not very good salesmanship . Guess she didnt want to see me when I came back and explain why she forgot to tell me about the cord. Not very pleased.
I went there to get a board and have it cut for a divider in my truck bed and the guy that helped me was very gracious and helpful. I told him what I was doing with it and that I wasnt certain about the measurement. He came out to the parking lot and checked to see if it was working for me after he cut it and I had paid for the 2x12. It still wasnt quite fitting so he helped me mark the board and carried it in and cut it again. So now it fits across into the notches just right.
Staff have always been available to provide advice and help find items. The last few months, I’ve had to “lie in wait” to ambush staff members to get help. They are so busy moving stock or materials they don’t have time to help customers find the things us timers want to buy.
Trash service I bought Samsung washer and dryer from them, even purchased the extended warranty. Since I’ve only had the washer and dryer for a few months and the washer has been leaking from day 1. I had to go through Samsung. Samsung has sent techs out 2 different times to fix 2 different parts on it. Now we are stuck with a machine that doesn’t work waiting on a part delivered. Might I add the techs barely spoke English and were extremely rude. When I called Lowe’s service advantage to just replace the machine they said NO! Cause a repair ticket in in process. Absolutely absurd now a family of 4 has no washing machine. Stay away from Lowe’s and there service center.
I recently purchased a dishwasher there and the gentleman that I dealt with Charles, in appliances was an absolute pleasure to deal with and even gave me a discount due to the person that I had talked to prior (Stephen) was not there and failed to pull the appliance as he was asked to do.I will go back as long as I can deal with Charles.Good service brings people back and this ended up being a good experience.
Warning, lowes does not stand behind their products. They completely refuse to exchange or return this defective door. Their supposed grounds for refusing to return or exchange is that its a special order. Its a standard in stock door. Bottom line, the management will lie if they dont feel like standing behind what they sell.
Delton Vaughn is single handedly the best employee Lowes has ever had...and Lowes has a lot of great people, so thats saying something. He is caring and very helpful. He is the main reason I dont even go inside of a home depot store, and chose lowes everytime. Hope upper management realizes the good worker Delton is...Thank you sir
First time in over 15 years to experience an unpleasent visit. I am mobility impaired and as a disabled veteran I have always been treated well. I can use my walker for short distances before I have to give my legs a break or use me electric wheelchair for distances over 200 or so feet. I bought a water heater and pan and necessary accessories. There was help to get it to the register there was some help in loading(they set it in the truck, closed the tailgate and walked away leaving me to do what I could to tie it in which was difficult to say the leastThe PVC pipe that was brought up with the w/h was the wrong size, discovered after loading. I went back inside and it had to be refunded. I asked if the cashier at the customer service desk if there was some one that could go back and grab the right size. Politely responding, she told me where plumbing was. Taking the hint I told her I would need to wait until a scooter came available. She politely nodded. So here I sit waiting for the last 20 minutes and will continue for an unknown amount of time waiting on a mobility cart since walking to the dept . resting to return and trying to fumble with a 5 length of 1 PVC is a recipe for a fall which is not good after back surgery. Other than this time Lowes has been great.
Poor customer service! Bought a faulty dishwasher from them. They have pushed me off too Samsung with a sorry about your bad luck attitude. Not their problem.. all because we are past the 30 day return policy, even though we were in a construction phase and it sat in a box for that 30 days! Hurst Lowes just doesnt care about good customers!
The reasons we no longer shop at Lowes still apply even though we havent been there in over 7 months;1) sorry help (we ask 3 employees,1 appeared to be a supervisor, where to find cord weatherstrip, none of them even knew what it was yet kept giving us totally incorrect locations- we finally found it on our own),2) dogs all over the store including in the baskets that we want to set our purchases in and3) pathetic checkout (the 1 line that was open had non native English speaking person who didnt like her job and appeared to be sick because she kept clutching her lower abdomen and moaning). (Good Lord woman, excuse yourself and go home!) Everyone in line suffered due to her. The apparent supervisor standing in the isle did nothing but joke with other employees while the line grew and the checkout person got slower. Can not recommend Lowes to anyone. We only went back to see the new Craftsman inventory and get 3 day only 10% off.... not worth it, we wont go back again.
No one really seems to want to help you and most of the employees look like theyve never done a hard days work in their lives (lack of relevant knowledge). I stood at the online pick up desk for about 15 minutes while I watched several employees standing around talking to each other doing nothing, seemingly trying to hide around the corner of Isles. 3 different employees walked by me befor I had to follow one, interrupt a non work related conversation between 2 employees and ask for assistance when they watched me stand there the whole time... I dont go to Lowes very often and this is a reminder why... if Lowes didnt carry Hitachi I would make it a point to not do business with them. One or two employees is one thing but Ive noticed this at several locations.
Found a good deal on some 4 foot 1x4s that I needed for extra slats on my grandsons bunk bed. Usually, the cut boards are more expensive, but this time it was cheaper to get the 4 foot lengths instead of longer boards and cutting them down!. Also got a new ceiling fan for my daughters bedroom. Its a Hampton Bay 52 inch that is compatible with a remote control they had on a prior fan. Looks nice!
Lowes in North Richland Hills, TX has the worst customer service and I would never recommend it this location or company to anyone Ever! They will lie just to make a sale and when they screw up they wont solve the problem, just hang up on you when you try to solve it yourself....I just moved to DFW and moved into a house, so naturally I need some appliances for the house such as a washer and dryer. I worked as a retail manager for three years before moving to TX and am very familiar with the customer service industry. I dont normally write poor reviews as I chalk up bad serivce to that person having a bad day but Not this time. LOWES in North Richland Hills, TX has gone out of their way to be rude and misleading. When I came to make the purchase, 2 weeks ago, I had to seek out someone after walking washer/dryer department for at least 10 minutes. When I did finally get an associate to help me with my purchase I was told they only have the dryer in stock and it would be 2 weeks for delivery of the washer. Okay thats not ideal but I can handle it. Today is 2 weeks and I receive a phone call saying we wont have your washer for 8+ weeks. When I suggest we have a different store transfer a unit in to resolve the 8 week issue Im told Im patronizing the man on the line and he hangs up on me. Since when is it the Customers job to solve the Problems that the retailer created? I still havent received a phone call from the associates manager like he said he was going to do. This lowesvdorsnt care about you as a customer they just want your money and to be done with you.
This store is ALWAYS understaffed and the quality of staff is pretty bad really bad. I mean the last 10 or so times I have went here every employees knowledge of items is piss poor. I stood in the middle of the store literally after walking around trying to find someone to help me and no one in site. Home Depot customer now for life. Lowes quality of service is lacking. One time I even turned around and a staff member was just standing there talking to someone killing time after being paged to that department to help me, SERIOUSLY!!!! Home Depot employees know there products and know what they are talking about. THAT is what differentiates this store from Home Depot across the street. Home Depot there is never a shortage of someone willing to help AND will walk you to the isle where your product is. #twothumbsdownandmore. #donehere #theGMneedstodosomething
One of tht worst Lowes you can ever go....not only rude but totally cluelessEven the so called assistant manager was a joker ....Had ordered an order for pickup ...got 2 emails that ready for pickup .. drive there and they could not find it....and were wer may be its not in stockI said . See these emails saying ready for pickupEscalate to the assiajt manager, he apologized and said Sir we will call u when ready ...4 days later no callWhat an epic waste of timeNever going to this Lowes
Love Love Love this Lowes! Everyone has been so helpful and full of ideas I could stand there all day and chat with them. The employees that I have encountered made me feel like no project was to big for me to handle. They have helped me improved my crazy ideas or when I came to a mind block they helped me figure out my best route.
April 2019Great place to shop for Home Improvement projects. If you cant find what you are looking for, One of the frienly assistants will be glad to assist you in finding what you need. I have bought Paint, Wallpaper (lots of Wallpaper & Paint) Area Rugs, Mini Blinds, Fire Place Screens, Lattice Wood, & many more accessories💋🍀July 2019Was Bck in Lowes today to purchase a Electric Battery Charged Lawn Mower for my Son for his Birthday. He slected the one he wanted and I purchased it for him and we took it home. He was very excited abot getting it since for Christmas I had gotten him an electric battery charged saw, and an electric battery charged weed eater. He is in the process of changing over all his lswn equipment to the Electric Battery Charged items. He really likes them the best. Clean fuel.💋🍀
Lowes has the WORST customer service. Dont expect help from employees. If one is willing to help you I can gurantee the person they point you to wont be. I blame the company for poor manangement and understaffing. Expect to spend 5x longer than you anticipated if you dont know exactly what you are going for and where to find it.
We originally ordered cabinets online on 7/31. The Upper cabinets were sent to the Keller Store and delivered quickly and no issues. The one lower cabinetw was sent to the Hurst Store and did not go the same. The initial delivery was delayed due to not in stock. When it was set up for delivery the next time it was 8/6. I received a phone call that morning saying an afternoon delivery. Later that day they called it wasn’t on the truck! Nor did they have it in stock and had to be ordered. Next delivery time (8/7) it’s damaged in route because it wasn’t secured properly on the truck. The driver actually texted me pictures. We canceled delivery and I was told to call Sean a manager at the Hurst, Tx store. He ordered a new cabinet which did get delivered a week later (8/14) but upon opening up it it was cracked in 2 places . I again called Sean (8/15) to order a new one and pick up the damaged one. IT WAS NOT DONE! I called 2 times last week to see where my cabinet was. Tuesday the supervisor looking into it NEVER called me back. On Wednesday I called again and talked to David who is the only one who handled this issue quickly. He called me back promptly after researching, found a cabinet, made sure it was not damaged and had it delivered on Friday. I’ve yet to hear from Sean to explain what happened, to apologize and to compensate for this issue. The service from the Hurst store was terrible (other than David). I’m upset with how long this took and the fact that I had to constantly to call to check on this issue. After the first issue it should of taken a priority to fix yet it was compounded with more problems. I didn’t pay for this terrible service and I feel something should be done to rectify it. Lowed is slowly losing our business.
A female employee named Kelly was very rude. She had no customer services skills at all. She just cared about talking and complaining to her coworker about how customers would come back and buy items and she would tell them to leave. At the cash register, I didn’t get a “hello”, “thank you”, “did you find everything you were looking for”, etc. Not even a smile. When I got my change. She wasn’t even looking at me...she dropped my change and my receipt dropped to the floor. And she didn’t even notice because she was too busy talking to another employee. I get it if you hate your job, but a smile and paying a little bit more attention won’t kill you.
I thought this store was GREAT. Zach the Service Rep just did an outstanding Job. The poor guy is obviously overworked and under appreciated.... but never the less he just kept giving me great customer service. Heres the story... A friend o mine gave e a grill for my birthday. He called loves and they delivered. But whine arrive it was dented. My wife called the store and they rushed out a new one to replace it. Well.... I want a smoker rather than a grill...but I let 6 weeks lapse before I could get around to dealing with it. I went to the store and explained everything to Zach. The man was all over it. Hes sent a truck out the next day and picked up the old grill and gave me store credit.... the next day I went to the store and used the credit to buy my new Smoker. Zach had that smoker delivered the very next day...right on time. No charge for ANY of the four trips to my house for exchanges. Agent Orange would not have delivered anything and would have charged me truck rental. Hats off to Lowes Im your customer for life. I just wish they had more people like Zach.Hey Lowes!!! Give that boy a raise!
A year ago we replaced a few windows in our home. Patrick N was the Project Specialist we purchased the windows from and he was involved in the project thru the end. This week one of the windows appeared to have broken and would no longer stay up. I sent an email to Patrick to begin the process of getting this repaired using our warranty. I sent the email at 5:43 pm and, at 5:53 (no kidding, I checked my phone) Patrick called me. He said he felt like he knew what the problem was and, while he did offer to come over, he could also walk us thru the quick fix. It was a simple bolt that involved a screwdriver and a couple of minutes and the window is working just like new. Hanging up the phone, my husband and I just looked at each other. When does this ever happen? Thank you Patrick and Lowes for the excellent service!
My only issue was when it came time to check out, the line was so long. We ended up finding out why because the guy checking people out couldnt do math to give people the 25% off their purchase. I dont understand why they would put someone behind a register that cant do simple math.
No one ever offers to help and there is a very long line at the service desk, The girls who work at the service desk for pick up or return are very rude. They do not acknowledge they even see the customer and continue to mark product or talk on the phone. When they finally decide it is time to service you, they are abrupt and unfriendly. I saw the assistant manger walk by and notice they were busy marking product without acknowleging any of us in line and he did not help or tell them to change what they were doing. So the managment here is at fault for not training or managing the employees to have better customer relations. You have to hunt down employees to help you select or find items.
Im very disappointed with the service at this location. I went in for a simple item, found where it should have been but nothing there. Went to customer service for help (just trying to see if the system showed it as in stock or not) and they said they would page someone to help me. Waited about 10 min. No one ever came by and I gave up. Never had that problem at other locations. (Not remotely busy)
Couple days back, I happened to be in my neighborhood Lowes Store(off Grapewine Hwy.)located in Hurst TX.I must say, gentleman by name Brent(on a wheel chair)in tools dept. was great help to me in locating a precise tool. I was highly impressed with his knowledge in ref. to a particular tool I was searching. I was also impressed with his courteous, and professional service to meet customers need...Thank you Brent, and Thank you Lowes.
Lowes is really a great place to go for Hardware & Lumber, or if you just want to spend hours trying to find someone to help you because you like that kind of a challenge, Lowes is really your place. Whenever I go to Lowes it makes me a little sad that Im not involved in a major Home Improvement project with an unlimited budget, but thats just my lot in life.
Today I drove to this store specifically to oder 2 wall kitchen cabnets and I was not helped. There were 3 people in the cabinet area 2 were on the computer one was talking to some other employee. When I asked for some help and you told me it would be about an hour to get to me , you could have least taken my name and number and got back with me. I was all set to spend my money at this store today. Now I have to find another store to do business with. Your customer service srinks. I have a business and I never treat my clients this way. I am so mad.
Staff knows nothing about building supplies. Didnt even know what some things were when my husband asked where they were. Husband had to go find them on his own. Loaders were good but loading lane blocked by parallel parkers so we had to load in the sun. Tbis Lowes was on Haltom City road, Fort Worth.

2022-03-22Great selection of items, from DIY to complete sets of furniture, appliances, gardening, plants and storage spaces. I could spend here all day and still find something to buy. At the moment they have a very good range of outdoor sets, that are really worth checking out, and the staff is always very helpful. No tap pay yet though, so don’t forget your physical credit cards or cash :)

2022-04-02First time visit at this location. Barely any plants available. But managed to buy some organic soil & compost. I had at least 8 bags and it was hard to push the cart as it has a bit of uphill. Cashier didn’t offer to help but some random nice lady offered to help at the parking lot.

2022-02-24I really really love this store they have everything I need The staff is really helpful The only thing they couldnt help me find was those gloves with flashlights on them I really wanted those for Christmas presents I ended up ordering those off Amazon and I got this cheaper version but also found the rechargeable ones on Amazon and theyre like 30 bucks a piece though glitch isnt bad considering you never have to buy batteries for them but it would probably take a long time to use $30 for the batteries in those gloves anyway Ive sworn off batteries nothing but rechargeable stuff and Lowes has plenty of rechargeable stuff

2022-03-05I bought 8 bags of mulch at Lowes and it was $3.68 per bag. Then I went to Walmart one hour later to buy something else and I saw the price for the exact same mulch was $3. I would have thought another big box store would be about the same price, but surprisingly it was a much better price at Walmart. That’s over 20% cheaper than Lowes. I know getting in and out of a Walmart with the masses of people and traffic is a hassle. However, their prices are generally good. I guess I am buying mulch at Walmart from now on.

2022-01-10The employee at the paint counter was very helpful with paint questions and support. Then employees in the shelving aisle assisted with the hanging hardware I needed. There was one live cashier and the line was not long, only 2 ahead of me. They were also friendly and quick. I have patronized this location for many years and have nothing but positive experiences.

2022-06-13Their prices are up, but what store doesnt have higher prices? The approach and entrance are appealing and free of scattered carts and debris. In the store everything is clear, prices are clearly marked, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.Check out was much quicker than I would have thought. Cashiers are nice, polite and friendly.Shopping at Sprouts is a breeze. If its not obvious, I really like this store. Ive shopped at other Sprouts stores in the area, this one is organized, neat, and nice 👍👍

2021-07-24This is our go-to home improvement store. Great selection of tile and flooring. We love the lawn and garden department too. Great service and professional staff. It’s always interesting to browse the many clearance end caps. So many things I didn’t know I needed…

2022-04-19Went around 12:30pm on a Tuesday. First attempted to obtain a Veterans discount account. Was told a DD214 in order to get the account. Even the employee indicated it was a rough process. Home Depot is much easier (show VA ID). Shopped for solar outdoor lights & purchased some plants. The line for check out was about 6 deep. Cashier had to physically go get another cashier that was in calling range to come help.
