I Was there April 6thpaint department associate was great help to make adjustments on the paint until We got a really good matching paint color I was able to paint the drywall patches onlyThank you very much!Updated review upon second interactionI dropped my five star review because Today May 25thI actually have a not too good experience, first time bought 2 cans of paints , was assisted by the painting associates to match the color one can of paint was a close match but the second one was very very different so I had to comeback and buy a third can , I asked the same associate to please sell me a can of only 1 quarter of the cheapest brand, he said that he can only sell the expensive brands on 1 quart of a gallon cans so I had to buy an extra gallon , I spent way more than estimated for a small touch up project
I went to Lowes to find some food chain oil for my camping stove. They dont have any. It was very confusing and I was not able to find what I was looking for. Theyre very good with finding everything else for household and outdoor needs but not this particular thing. I have been having a hard time trying to find it because I would like to go camping one of these days.
Employee lied to me and my daughter to get her to sign up for a Lowes credit card. He said she would get 20% off her purchase plus her 10% Military discount. I asked numerous questions...he assured us 30% off her entire purchase. She signs up for card, at checkout we find out the 20% off has a limit of $100. Also can not be combined with Military discount. Guy lied and lied and lied just to get her to apply for a card. We informed aManager ... I appreciate Lowes giving Military members and veterans a discount. I use it every time I shop there. We were very busy buying a materials for a new house in San Antonio where my daughter was just stationed. Guy wasted our time...and did I mention that he lied and lied and lied to us?
This Lowes right here on Austin Highway ROCKS in customer service!!! I live out 281N and will come all of the way to this Lowes to get top notch customer service. Some names to mention: George in electrical, William in tools, Joe in plumbing and Joseph in flooring are ALL EXCELLENT in helping me to find what I need and I make several trips sometimes. These guys go out of their way to help you find what you need. THANK YOU!!!
Its depressing, a store that peddles nursery plants and even trees, not having any trees shading its parking area. Not a scrap of green to relieve the eye, even though there are empty curbed islands that must have been meant for trees, at some point. There are doubtless trees for sale in the garden center that have remained unsold, been discarded. It would be a matter of minutes to plant one ... I go out of my way to go to Home Depot instead. Its landscaping is not much better - but it is a *little* better.
Store was good management experience was bad. So this tall older short haired red head with glasses mistaken for a manager is obnoxious and rude. I wanted to buy a gas grill from inside the store and shouldnt wouldnt let me. Stated Id get one from outside. Like many reviewers before me, I noticed they werent covered and were weather worn. She was beyond rude as in does not even look at you when you are talking to her. When she does decide to look down at you to acknowledge your existence shell talk to you in a condescending tone. This manager definitely could benefit from some sensitivity training if there was ever a use for it.
It was Great! We went pretty last minute before closing and the employees were still very helpful and gave us pointers and advice for things they didnt carry in store that would be more beneficial to what we needed. We didnt get what we needed but still walked out spending over $100. Lowes has us cursed to always spend lots of money there. Cant wait to go back!!
I had the best customer service yesterday evening. I spend over an hour looking for a reply bolt for a tool I had. Teri in customer service was great in pointing me in the right direction. LD and Steven ended up spending an hour helping me replace this part as I had no idea what I was doing in the replacement of this bolt. I did come across one issue as I was waiting for LD to get some tools to help me out, a associate named Brian , taller man with white hair comes down the isle helping another customer fussing about how the bolts are all out of order and people are stealing his bolts and just putting them in there pockets and looks at me insinuating Im messing up his area or I was a thief. I countinued on to the power tool station with LD and he helped me resolve my issue. As I headed to self checkout to make my purchases Brian continues to walk out of isle 2 where the bolts are to pass me and make sure I was paying for my $.13 bolt which I was in the first place. He made me uncomfortable the way he handled himself. All of the staff have always the been so great.
We wandered around the store for about 20 minutes with an empty basket obviously confused as to where to find 2 items that we needed. There where employees standing in the front of the store while I went back and forth looking at the signs on each aisle. I finally stopped an employee who then directed me to where I would find the 2 items???? Maybe???? The 1st item which was clear caulking was relatively easy to find and in the place where he said it would be. A cutting knife however was much more difficult to locate. I had another item waiting for me at customer service so I went to that desk. There were 4-5 more employees there none of whom knew where to find the knife. They paged another employee who said he would be just a few minutes. After over 20 minutes we were still waiting when and older lady who does the cutting for acrylic panels told me she could show me what I probably needed. The knife was all the way at the bottoms of the wall and not easily visible. Some of the employees were very helpful, some just basically were too busy chatting with each other and a couple were busy putting a shelving unit together. Ive never gone to Home Depot without being greeted and asked if I needed help finding things. These huge warehouse/home improvement/construction stores are not well set up and confusing to say the least. But Home Depot has always been more customer friendly and helpful. If they had had the item I needed I most certainly would have gone there.
I love my Austin hwy. Lowes everyone is so friendly and professional Maria, Mr. Allen, Juan, Sebastian and many others have been there for years but i would like to thank Mr.Marcus for his help i recently purchased some doors for my home and he went above and beyond to find the ones i needed they were delivered and installed and i love them the store is going through some rearranging but nothing to get upset about.Thanks again . Locks and lamp were purchased at another Lowes store..
This home center has everything you need for your home or business needs and designs. They’ve always ready to assist you in any way they can at anytime. They also have people that can and will even set up your purchases, put down a particular flooring of your choice, install any appliance you buy from them, beautiful rugs that you can have them hang up for you perfectly. I know they guarantee their work, and it’s excellent. You can trust any of them that come to your home or place of business , because they respect and do their job to the best of their professional ability.
Ordered a part off the web. It showed up 3 weeks later. The cashier was unable to process my credit card, they called their IT department who said I needed to call my credit card company. When I called the credit card company there was no issue with the card. Lowes could still not process the payment. Complete amateur hour!!!!
Absolutely dreadful. Seems like most of the employees actively try to avoid customers. Waited almost an hour for someone to help me with a large purchase that was stocked on the third tier of the racking. Dont waste time pushing the need help button. Just go strait to the store manager, oh wait that didnt work either. Just avoid this Lowes all together.
They must be having the same supply issues that everyone else is experiencing. Everything on my list was out of stock and not available at any location. Every year at this time they have the Big Easy chair for sale and I wanted to get one for this year. The website showed that they have some available but once again I was lied to by the website and I wasted another trip to Lowes. I get so tired of using the site to help me shop but once I get there they cancelled whatever I wanted and I waste so much time waiting for someone to help me at the item pickup line. I dont know why they dont have more people available to assist with online orders.

Michelle really impressed me with a great attitude and work ethic. She helped me with a clothes dryer in appliances. You may think no big deal its her job.I went to several other Lowes and received bad customer service and didnt want to look in warehouse to put eyes on inventory.
I have always had the best experience at lowes. Today, I had to swap out a broken tool that I had for atleast ten years or more. To my surprise they had the exact same model. Of course alitte newer. But it was so easy to accomplish and the staff was rea)y helpful and friendly.
Had an issue with a Blue Rhino propane tank, just needed an exchage for a tank that would work. 3 associates were no help and only aggravated the situagion. Finally found Terri (working the paint dept) she helped calm my husband down with amazing customer service, so between Terri and Manager Pam it was all resolved happily 😊
Shannon in appliances is just amazing. She is kind, respectful, and took the time to address our needs. We went in tonight for a stove, since ours broke suddenly. We had two exhausted and grumpy kids with us and we were stressed and exhausted as well. She was such an amazing help and even though they ended up not having what we needed in stock, she took the time to search the back room and helped us find it at another store. Amazing! Give this woman the biggest raise!
Very helpful employees over the phone and in person at the garden center. The curbside pickup didnt work out for me as the heavy bags of soil cant be ordered online, but it was very quick and easy to go in and show the readily available employees what I wanted. They loaded it into my car very quickly and I was out of there in 10 min. total. I will shop at this Lowes from here on as my experience at a different Lowes was the opposite. Must be good management!
Zero Stars! Worst experience ever. Ordered a door back in December, supposed to deliver to the store. Have been contacted 4 times since, each time went to the store, rental ready to take home, only to find out it was missing a part of something was wrong with it! The first time we made the mistake of trusting then, taking it back to see it was is used condition! Second time we checked upon arrival, missing a part, but they said they could not simply order the replacement parts, had to order the entire thing again. Third time, almost identical. Fourth time, so done. Not to mention it is impossible to get anyone when calling to assist us! Unbelievable.
I usually have an issue with this place due to the fact that you cant ever find an employee for help and if you ask them for help its like your bothering them. Then I met Gary in the bathroom sink isle and not only did he help me pick out a sink, but gave me all the essential items needed to compete my project. Good Job Gary 👏 👍 👌 🙌
Cashier Emily, 1 star for your bad attitude 😒. Our first time here today. You need to learn how to have little respect for your customers. I would like to commend Lowes on Austin highway in San Antonio for hiring people like Alexander, who was so attentive and accommodating. I encountered him as soon as I walked into the garden center and he asked me if I needed help. He helped me load 10 bags of mulch onto a cart and then when I was ready to leave he helped me load them onto the car. He was very polite and articulate. You need more Alexander’s! Excellent employee
Recently purchased a dishwasher here and overall was not very satisfied with the experience. If it wasnt a last minute purchase to beat the granite installers, I would have gone anywhere else.First problem was that the sales rep was pushing hard for me to buy an installation kit that was clearly not needed. Point blank asked if the items came with the dishwasher and was told not to count on it, should just buy it for piece of mind. The box clearly showed it came with the items. Yeah, I can return it if not needed, but seems like the tactic is shady and relies on the percentage of people to lazy to return it later.Second, after loading it up on the dolley to bring to the front, the box fell off and slammed into the ground. I assume since I was in front on him, he thought I didnt notice? I asked if it fell and was informed almost, but he caught it. Spoke to my friend Maury and he informed me that this was a lie. I told him to get a different one or refund my payment. Based on the shenanigans I asked him to leave this one in view so I knew I was not just giving him a 5 minute break to come out with the same one.I know my business means nothing in the big corporate picture, but personally I have stopped shopping at this location and will never buy an appliance at Lowes again.
Went to this Lowes to buy filters for my AC unit. Size I needed was not within reach but I could see them up on the very top shelf. I walked back up to the cashier stand and ask her to page someone to help me which she did. Waited 10 minutes. No one ever came so I grabbed a guy walking by and asked him for help. He also paged someone to come help me. I waited another 10 minutes. No one ever came. I walked out, went to Home Depot and bought what I needed.
I will not go back to this Lowes. NOT only are they not helpful this place needs some diversity training. I guess Im the wrong color to shop here. I have never felt more ignored at a business. Every time I go nobody seems to know about anything there area, but when the right color shows up I guess the start rembering how to do there job.
They have almost have everything you need and can special order things, that are not in stock. They can give you names of installers. That is a big plus, because they can offer installers, they know will get a job, done right. When they are really busy, you have to wait to check out. Sometimes, if you are in a hurry, this can be a little frustrating, but other than that, I continue to shop at Lowes.
Went to Lowe’s on Austin Highway on January 20th. I found all the items that I was looking for by myself and when I asked for help I was very satisfied with the service. For this reason alone I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately when I went to pay things changed.I was second in line. As I waited for my turn I saw a big rat crossing the main corridor hiding under the cashier’s area two cashiers away from me (by the display of ceiling fans). I mentioned it to my cashier and he just ignored me. I expected for him to acknowledge my comment and tell me he was immediately contacting management! Yuck!!!!
We were hoping to contact the appliance department because we were aiming for some information about a stove we wanted to buy, but, instead we came across redirect to redirect. In between my husband and I, we were redirected 9 times in total!!! Why are you open until 9 pm when no one ever addresses your customers or potential customers?? Weve decided to take our business to Home Depot. Thank you, Lowes for helping us decide who is the better home improvement store!!!
Always a good experience at Lowes and theyre very helpful. So with the shoppers I happen to be in with my dog who I have no idea why but decided to poop in the aisle nobody around so Im standing there so nobody steps in it and trying to wave down a salesperson and somebody who saw me went over didnt ask went over to one of the counters and got me paper towels and Lysol wipes to clean it up with I love Texas
Had to pull our own stuff as they said their forklift operator was on lunch and we would have to wait an hour. I grabbed a pallet jack and did it myself but the second pallet was high up. They finally brought it down while I was loading the first one but left it in the aisle.
I find staff overall knowable with aisle product placement. This improve better use of my tome in location of desired item and therefore could shop for other items as I am a parent with little time to waste in shopping ot locating items neededAlso I am a retired military officer and appreciate that I and wife can obtain discountsI will continue to use your store for my needs.Thank you.
Wow! I cannot sing the praises enough for Terri and Sebastian in the paint department of your Lowes store #1645 on Austin Highway in San Antonio. Both of them were fabulous in helping me find the perfect paint for my project. I will always go to Lowes for my remodel projects in the future and use Terri and Sebastian to help me.
Doing their best, Im sure. But somehow or another the webpage cant keep up with actual inventory. About half the orders I have placed end up with items listed as available for pick up being cancelled minutes later. The really infuriating part is that it is usually after I have selected a different store that is clear across town because the website says my local store doesnt have that item but that a store twenty miles away has the item(s) in stock. And then doesnt.
Worst Lowes Ive ever been in. The store had an unkempt atmosphere about it - i.e. There were only two or three carts in the inside corral and the parking lot was full of carts. There were other issues as well.The employees were fairly unfamiliar with what was in the store and gave bad advice about something fairly simple. Plus, they didnt have the items they were supposed to have based on the website for that store. Disappointing. Not what Ive come to expect in a Lowes. Ended up going to Home Depot.
I would give this location a zero if I could. I Ordered a refrigerator online this was the store that the order was coming out of. A absolute nightmare. Day one I took off work refrigerator never showed up 7 times I talked to the store manager GM. Day 2 , I took off work 8 times I talked to a different store manager GM ,product was finally located. Day 3 today took off work refrigerator is sitting in my living room waiting for the doors to be taking off no communication between 3 party delivery and Lowe’s shipping. Day 4 Lowe’s will be picking this Mof up. Ridiculous don’t buy anything thing from Lowes or the location on Austin highway.
Good help from a Lowes employee in the lumber section.However, the garden centre check out guy has been very unhelpful and rather rude a couple of times. Lowes do not appear to have a delivery date for sod which is rather unhelpful for customers wanting to pick some up. Customer service were just as unhelpful.
The guy in the garden center today at checkout was definitely not any help! I asked why a price on a clearanced plant was different then what was marked (higher) and he, without any effort of wanting to resolve my issue, just stated do you want to buy it? It was clear that he wasnt about to do ANYTHING other than checkout. Ill go to a different store from now on.
When this store first opened the customer service was exceptional--employees would always stop & ask if they could help.Today I pushed the HELP ME button in plumbing 4 times & no one responded. Finally, a friendly customer who was a plumber helped me out.This was after being the 6th person in line out the door for the 1woman working returns, which took OVER ONE HOUR.
First off my initial experience with an employee by the name of Sebastian was fantastic and he and his wonderful customer service would deserve a 5 star review. He was instrumental in helping me do a phone order where the stores service fell completely apart was when I arrived for curbside pickup. The young lady on the phone was annoyed from the moment I corrected her in reciting my own phone number back to me. I arrived for my pickup at 5:30 and saw two other cars that arrived after me get serviced first. I called back after waiting patiently for 40 minutes in my car asking again for my items. A young lady with blue tint in her hair told me my order took a long time to gather up as the items were not pulled, I didn’t understand this as Sebastian implied the items were pulled. It is now 6:32pm and I am still waiting in my car as one of the items was missing. It’s unfortunate that what started off as a fantastic experience fell apart so tragically by your curbside service. 7 pm and still waiting curbside , I am literally in tears. The only reason I am giving this store a 3 is because the employees are working during these times but the curbside experience is a negative 5 star! 7:18 pm and still waiting.
The facility was clean and well kept; the employees were polite, helpful and professional. The aisles were stocked well and items were located where the app said they would be. Nice selection, great atmosphere and overall great experience for a hardware store and more.
I go to this location frequently for all my home care needs. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is staffed with adequate number of employees to assist when you need them, but they dont bug you if dont.I appreciate that they have mylowes rewards that allows 10% discount on every purchase for Active Duty Military and Veterans. Its nice to see a company honoring our Soldiers.Thank you, Lowes!
Shelly in paint was awesome! She helped me select a color and got a combined 8 gallons of 3 colors together for me and was patient with me even though it was near closing time. Two other associates were very helpful and I saved 5% off a $365.00 purchase using my Lowes card.
Just came from the Lowes from Austin highway, was treated horribly by a cashier. When we first approached the counter we werent even acknowledged the lady just rang our stuff up only time she spoke was to give us our total. When another customer who happened to be white asked if she can phone the paint section because she needed some assistance the rude cashier lady was nice and chipper and quick to pick up the phone to ask for help for the woman. As she finished cashing us out she did not say a word to us as we were leaving. We returned our items and you guys will never be getting any of our business
This is my regular hardware store since most small chain places have gone extinct. The staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable, but some of the newer employees have a not my department attitude. I have had several keys cut here and all have worked properly. I have also had paint mixed here to match colors (with varying levels of success) I prefer the selection at Home Depot, but this place is a close second!
My husband went to buy a Barbecue pit. Tried calling an calling and nobody answers the phones. The employee told my husband, there were 2 pits left but wasnt gonna go look for the second one. The one my husband saw out on the floor, said hold. I understand if someone bought it offline and it was payed for and put in a designated area. But this pit was out on the floor with a little sticker. I dont think thats fair at all. Wouldve been resolved, if they wouldve just picked up the damn phone.
I was looking for hand sanitizer at the entrance and at exit and didnt see any. I spend about 10 minutes looking for an employee at the paint section. I had to finally go to a cashier and ask for help. When the employee came back she looked annoyed and was rude while I was asking for what I needed. A little disappointed but 🤷 what can I do.
So lovely. Went to Lowes after getting ZERO help from Home Depot, and I loved it. Walked in, everything was tidy and organized. Found what I needed in less than a minute and cashiers were very friendly. Lowes will now be my go to for any and all my home improvement projects in the future.
DON’T call the number if you need help with anything! I was looking for an item and called for confirmation that it was in stock and the first guy who picked up after transferring couldn’t search for it in-store because he was answering phones while with another customer. Called again and a woman picked up who was on her LUNCH BREAK. Why the hell do they have people picking up calls on lunch? Don’t answer the phones if you can’t help the customer out.
Spoke with an associate in the wood department about moving a pallet so that I could get some PT wood that was located outside. Waited for over a hour before I gave up. I would have been more understanding if the department was busy but there was no one in sight except the cashier.
This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you do get a person on the phone when you call they will bounce your call around the store until you get disconnected. They dont deliver when they say they will and in our case we received a broken dryer with no word when the replacement would arrive. I wouldnt recommend buying appliances from this store to anyone. A horrible experience and no accountability from anyone. Managers totally unavailable; what a zoo.
I ordered a tool online for in store pickup. I received an email that the tool was ready to be picked up. After work I drove over to the store. I had to wait for about 15 minutes while they handled all customers returning items first. I then showed the lady the email with the order number and bar code. She wrote the number on a piece of paper and started the search. Nothing. After another 15 minutes, nothing. They could have just told me they cant find the tool I ordered. Instead, they just ignored me. I asked that the store manager call me. Never happened.
I had one of those positive experiences today that continues to make me prefer Lowes over that other depot store. And a HUGE kudos to Gary in the plumbing dept. Give that man a raise! Gary helped me thru everything I need to change out a 50-year old toilet. Rough-in distance from the bolt holes to the wall. And the flange was messed up. I showed him pictures and all his recommendations were exactly spot on. It took me about 2 hours to do the work from start to finish. Gary made it easy and my total cost was $269.00. Thanks Lowes! Thanks Gary. I owe you a drink, Dude.
This Lowes is very clean and is rarely too crowded although I dont go during Peak shopping hours. I have just about everything I need for any of my projects and the staff is easy to find an available. They respond to the button to push for the Departments rather quickly so I did get service that was very good.
Lowes is great, at other locations it has recently taken me forever to track someone down for some help, but at this location I found a gentleman right away in lumber and although he was helping someone else he asked if he could help me. He was very helpful in helping me find wood for our raised Garden volunteer organization and he reminded me of Eric Andre. Im not sure of his name, but he had a rose tattoo. He deserves a raise for sure!
I usually buy my paint at Home Depot. I decided to give Lowes a try. It is about twice as far to drive to Lowes. The paint section is smaller. There was a man attending the area. I took about 5 minutes to decide on a color, but the man disappeared. I saw him down the aisle a short distance, walked over to him, and asked for assistance. He acted perturbed. He did come to the paint desk, but would hardly answer any questions. When he did, he mumbled and spoke in a dismissive manner, making me feel small. I spent a very short time deciding on the paint, and he did prepare it in a timely manner thereafter. I did not thank him, and I walked away. The guy might do a very good job stocking the store during the night, but not interacting with customers. I will go back to Home Depot next time.
I needed help locating a lawn fertilizer product and an employee directed me to its location, but they were out.Surprisingly, he directed me to try their competitor Home Depot, where I found what I wanted. The employee was helping me locate what I needed even though it was from a competitor.
I purchased a grill on 8-30-18, I elected to have it assembled and pick it up today 9-1-18. I arrived and went to the service desk where Shannon was amazing!!! If not for Shannon and her helpful attitude and empathy I would have left in a much different mood. They didnt have my grill assembled and couldnt find the one i purchased. They ended up giving me someone elses that wasnt going to pick it up until 9-12-18 because they would have more in by that time. Altogether I was there roughly 2 hours. Again, if not for Shannon it would have been a very bad two hours.
Custom ordered a front door back in May and when the installer called he said it was dented and if we wanted to reorder. We said yes please. Mind you this is a $2,000 + door. We also ordered a customer back door a week after placing the first order. The back door has been sitting there since early July and i have not received a call for it to be installed. I called in late July check the status of the reorder of the front door. The reorder of the front door had been there since the 24th of July and we had not received a call notifying us that it was in. Today (8/11/2020) instillation day, the reordered back door came in damaged. I dont know why these things are not inspected when they arrive. I will NEVER NEVER order anything custom from them again. The only reson for the three stars is because i got my back door and its being installed today. Horrible customer service and horrible communication.
The outdoor gardening department has a great selection of plants! I have a brown thumb so my go to is the succulent section. I love succulents and Lowes carries a wide variety. You can get pre-arranged assortments in a selection of sizes or you can buy them individually and create your own succulent garden. They also carry many types of soil, planters and gardening tools, plant food, bug sprays, yard furniture and decor and landscape lighting. They sell name brand appliances, showers, tubs, all things lumber and plumbing. They have a large paint department with everything you need and then some! All kinds of glues, for everything! Lowes has all kinds of crafting items, I have purchased tools and other crafting essentials that you wont find at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I really could go on forever! If you havent been to Lowes youre in for a treat! The store is always clean and tidy, customer service is always a 10! There is always someone near by to assist you and they dont just point you in a direction they take the time to walk you to the aisle and help you find what youre looking for, and when your feet hurt and youre ready to check out LOL the cashiers greet you with a smile!
I ordered a mower online at Lowe’s. Was told days later that there’d be a delay. I opted to wait. In this “waiting period” my Lowes cc was deactivated due to inactivity. So now that the mower was in stock, my payment had declined. I had to reapply for the cc. I then go to the store to repurchase the mower since I didn’t physically have my new card on me yet and they couldn’t apply the payment without the last 3 security numbers on back. I was told they should be in later that night and can pick it up two days later. I go 4 days later to pick it up and what do you know? They can’t find any of the mowers. I’m there waiting and waiting and waiting. I see several ppl walk off to check the back/wherever they say they put aside items. Finally someone tells me they don’t have it and that it never came in. They “checked with receiving department who confirmed they did not get any of those mowers on the truck”. This is the funny (not so funny) part: While I’m waiting at customer service my girlfriend is shopping and comes up to check on me every so often. As Ophelia (customer service lady) was telling me how supposedly none came in their shipment, there’s nothing they can do other than getting my name/number and blowing me off, my gf comes up and asks what the item number is. TURNS OUT she found the very item I had purchased stacked near the mowers that NONE of the employees could find and told me they hadn’t received. At this point I’m wanting to just get my money back but don’t bc this particular item was specifically wanted bc of the Honda motor-if HD had it, I’d have already gone there after the “delay” issue. After verifying that it is in fact the item, Ophelia tells an employee to grab a dolly to help us out with the mower. We all head to the cs counter and Ophelia asks for the receipt to notate it’s now been picked up. While I’m waiting for that to be done I give the keys to my gf and tell her to go ahead and go put it in the truck since we’ve spent more than enough time on this bs. As we are standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CS COUNTER, WITH OPHELIA FINISHING WHATEVER SHE NEEDS ON HER END, the employee helping us load the mower HAS THE NERVE TO ASK TO SEE MY RECEIPT before he will continue to help us load it. SERIOUSLY, THIS WAS THE CHERRY ON TOP! Did he really just ask to see a receipt when I’ve been there for who knows how long with a receipt in hand, when the manager had JUST GAVE HIM THE OK TO HELP US MOVE IT TO OUR TRUCK, and WE WERE ALL RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CS COUNTER FINALIZING!?!? ARE ALL LOWES EMPLOYEES SO OBLIVIOUS?!?! Since getting home, I’ve decided I’m canceling my Lowes cc and will make it a point to shop Home Depot for whatever household materials I need!! I don’t need craftsman/Honda products that bad.
Girl at the customer service counter doing returns at 7:45 pm 11-5-19 is RUDE! Terrible customer service and has a bad attitude. Practically yanked my return slip from my hands and almost gave me a paper cut. She was Resonating with this bad Engery and attitude. It almost made me want to vomit. I tried calling three times to the store to speak to a manager and file a complaint but no one came to the phone. So here I am. No one should have to leave a store feeling angry and annoyed like this after a simple return. Yuck!
This location is well lit, clean and stocked with work and home project materials. It is a large store and for that matter, most store clerks cant help you locate specific products but they can guide you to the right area. I have come across some questionable employees that have no idea what products are in stock or where they are located. Ye overall, I have not had a bad experience there.Lowes also support the Boy Scouts of America since families generally sale flavored popcorn at the entrance/exit on most weekends.
Extremely helpful staff and extremely easy to find products. Richie from the wood cutting section was a HUGE help. Help me take the wood out to the car and tie it down because he noticed my pregnant wife couldnt help me. Awesome customer service. Thanks Richard for helping me out. This is why I come to Lowes instead of Home Depot. 👍👍
I placed an order #424795705 on June 22, 4.14pm for home delivery and I have an email as a proof. Then, the same day, June 22, 5.50pm, I received another email that Your Item(s) Are Ready for Pick Up. I did NOT order for pickup. I ordered for home delivery. After seeing that, I immediately tweeted at 6.13pm, tweet ID 1275205242242633728, the following:> @Lowes Order ID: 424795705. Your website says Ready For Delivery but the email says Your Item(s) Are Ready for Pick Up. It wasnt a pickup order, its delivery, so please fix it. (No, I wont call you, I ordered online so I expect to get things done without talking to anyone)Nobody responded to me so I also emailed customer support email [email protected] on June 25, 7.01pm. I received an automated response to that email on June, 25, 7.03pm, as apparently they no longer provide email support.> The email address you’ve reached is unavailable. If you need assistance from Lowe’s, please call 1-800-44-Lowes.I called phone support today, July 1, 6.47pm and I was told that they have a note on the order that I was contacted and I agreed that I would pick up the item. I never did that. My tweet and my email confirms I was never expecting a pick up order in the first place. The pandemic isnt a a reason to unilaterally change the order from delivery to pickup, and then lie about having spoken to me.My original delivery was scheduled for July, 3. Because of Lowess mistake, my delivery date is now August, 2. If the delivery date doesnt go back to a reasonable date, Ill be moving my business to Home Depot.I really wish Amazon extended their Ships and sold by Amazon offer to riding mowers. Theres a reason why Amazon kills other retail stores. They deliver, literally and figuratively.
Friendly and helpful staff will greet you at my neighborhood Lowes. All of your home improvement and contractors needs can be filled at Lowes. Doesnt hurt to plan ahead and search Lowes.com for the particular items that you require and make a shopping list. Lowes also offers a nice Veterans discount. Two thumbs up for my neighborhood Lowes.
Every time I come here they one have 1 or 2 cashiers operating the checkout stands and tons of people in line. This has been going on for I dont know how long...I made a comment to a supervisor last time and he told me that they were staffing up to prevent this, that was a month ago. I just went in again and there are 10 people in 1 line and 1 cashier. I dont know if Lowes is pinching pennies or if their management just doesnt know how to staff but Home Depot never has this problem.
My father went in looking for a 3/4 gas adapter, to which he could not find himself. Each time he would approach an employee they would walk away from him. He went to the customer service desk asking for a supervisor, to which the employee stated that she wasn’t aware of where her supervisor was. We had looked online to make sure that they had what we needed and they did. We will never return to this location because of the lack of customer service. Which is just sad because it’s our local one.

The cashier that checked me out was black. She was so lazy she wouldnt get out of her chair. I had to lift up my items for her to scan. Im not sure if she realized she has a job... Crazy that shes allowed to act this way. Yet she could stand up to holler at the person that was not 6 feet away because of covid-19. 🤯🤮
Horrible service!! Manager was useless in locating a thermostat we wanted. Computer said they had four in stock but she wouldnt move things around in the cage to look for them. When I asked about looking thoroughly she said the tag wasnt on the shelf, again LOOK... were drove out of our way because they had it in stock. Useless to say the least. We went to Home Depot instead.
Lowes is my toy store and this one is pretty awesome. The staff are always helpful! Im really into gardening as well and I love thier selection. Im always buying plants and recently i bought two little gem magnolias and a teddy bear magnolia. They were healthy, full looking and vibrant; some of the best versions of these trees ive seen even among nurseries. Spring is the time to go though, thats when the best of the best is for sale.
I parked in the Veterans parking spot...In the past, I have been please with Lowes (erased a 5 star review for this one). But, today I am fuming. Been waiting all day for a delivery. They were suppose to call with a 2 hour window for delivery. By 1:30pm I started calling the store...I talked to 3 different Lowes workers in Appliance...I had three dropped calls & finally after around 12 calls to the store, I spoke with Mr. Robeli (Manager). He told me that the Fridge never made it on the Truck... Why didnt the other employees tell me this. I found out at 4:45pm after the whole day was lost. Ive already removed our old fridge. Now, we have to start over...NOT HAPPY
We ordered a Fridge on 5/26/20...after a few delays, we received a call on 6/18/20 saying that Friday 6/19/20 we would receive a call with a 2 hour window for delivery. I took the day off and waited for delivery. By 1:30pm I got worried & started calling the store (Hard to get through) and spoke to several people, all of which made a promise to help...3 times I was hung up on, 2 times I was promised a call back. By 4pm I just stayed calling on my phone & finally got a hold of Kena (the 1st person I spoke with, that did not call me back). She transferred me to Mr. Robel (a manager). When he answered the call, he acted as if Kena did not explain my situation to him (I know she did..I was on hold while she talked to him 1st). I explained my situation to Mr. Robeli. All he could say was that the Fridge never made it on a truck (this is the second time this has happed to us on this order). I explained that I could live with all of that, but no call this morning to release me from the shackles of waiting on delivery is just wrong. Mr. Robeli seemed irritated by my concerns as if I were a bother. Mr. Robeli said you can get delivery on Saturday...so he was offering me the opportunity to do this all over on Saturday. I said that I was very upset and did not want to waist another full day on this...he said that they would call me Monday to cancel the order or re-schedule delivery. I already pulled my old fridge out...I am fuming. Mr. Robeli did a terrible disservice to me and Lowes with his poor service.
Do yourself a favor and don’t have glass cut here, go to the professionals. I had a project that needed 4 identical exact measurements, and this is what I received. From the attitude of the attendant to the terrible results, it was not worth the trouble. Go somewhere else cause she’ll cut your glass the size SHE wants it to be.
Needed help to find some plumbing supplies, asked several people for help...they called for help on the store intercom. I waited for 20 minutes and finally left and went to home depot to get the questions answered. Ill never visit this location again. Ill drive an extra 15 minutes to not be ignored. I asked several people and not a single person was cross trained to help in other departments. I dont do plumbing is what I heard from 4 people I went and chased down in other parts of the store.
I went there for an online pickup. Customer service was amazing! My only complaint would be that you put the items in the back. So, the employee helping me had to go to the back of the store to get my items. This is horrible, not only for the consumer but the employees as well.
Pretty good selection of tools and materials... Im glad that they had a section for Dremel at all, but boy is it lacking variety. Has some of the cool attachments like the drill press and cable stylus attachments but no really variety in bits unless you buy a whole starter package.Other than that, no complaints. They carry a sufficient variety of everything else I could need and the hard to find screws/brackets area is very helpful, especially since I can buy 4 bolts nuts and washers ala cart rather than having to by a 20 pack of each.
Friendly staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable too. Didnt have to wait around or go searching for an employee to get some help. Like somewhere else (Orange Big Box store). I was in and out quickly and that was great being the contractor was at my house waiting for my return with the supplies he needed to finish the job.
Seems that customer service is a thing ofthe past for Lowes. I am waiting for what is 20 minutes at my second Lowes. The first one I had an online pickup. The saw was broken, but they didn’t mention it when I called to check on my order. Now I am here have asked multiple people for help I have now wasted half of what is my only day off on an online order. No respect for customers or their time. Paying off my credit card and will not bother with them again. Headed to Home Depot. Hopefully they can end my nightmare. Cant believe I lost half a day trying to get a piece of wood cut. If you are a woman just don’t bother. No one here will take your request seriously. You can wait while more « serious » clients get served. Got brushed off repeatedly.
I would like to acknowledge an associate that went above and beyond her duty. The young lady who helped me was Loryn M. at store # 1645. She was stocking shelves when I approached her and asked for her assistance. She said that she didnt work in the department that I needed help in but she would see what she could do. She found the tile i couldnt find but there wasnt enough on the shelf. She proceeded to go get a lift and find the other tile that I needed. She went up on the lift and retrieved the remaining 20 boxes of tile and brought them down for me. They were very heavy boxes even for me, but she didnt complain. Thank you Loryn M. I really appreciate your dedication to the customers you serve.
It may have been the hour of the day but it felt like there was not a lot of help available from a Sparse selection of employees.It felt like none of them really wanted to help you beyond just pointing you in the direction of what they thought you were looking for.Ive been coming to this lowes on and off for 10 years and can sense it level of customer service/ appreciation is going down.
Love this Lowes. Its never crowded, checkout is quick, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Two reasons it doesnt get five stars: 1. plumbing parts selection is middling at best, and the general quality of plumbing supplies is fair to poor. 2. Most mouldings/trim boards are not stocked in 16 foot lengths. I have to travel to a different Lowes location to purchase these items.
This is unfortunately my local Lowes, Ive only a couple times had a good experience. Most of the time I have the staff bombard me with can I help you? Even though I politely decline the offer,they cone back within 2 mins repeating same question,along with surreptitiously following me its not exactly conducive to make decisions on a purchase, makes me wonder if they are stalking me or believe Im some thief! Ive about had it with their creepy nature and stares may be my family and I last visit. Be warned I wouldnt go to this Lowes unless you wanna fill awkward and singled out. Sometimes even made to feel like a criminal. Oh, and any yougster working their you should avoid unhelpful,and most of the time either ignored or blown off so can busy themselves on their phone. What happened Lowes?!?
Glue & adhesive isle was not labeled so difficult to find. Between 9 pm & 9:15 pm on Tuesday 05/02/2017 I went for item location assistance with customer service. Both women customer service representatives were rude and obnoxious when telling me what isle the adhesives were. They only provided a general location. I then asked a paint department employee, a large grizzly man, who was behind the paint counter for assistance and he was also rude & obnoxious when telling me where the items were. The 3 Lowes employees were unprofessional and had bad employee attitudes. Management should look into employee to consumer relations or maybe has the same laxity that resides in this stores employees. Dont recommend this store. Not the first time Ive had issues here but the last, I wont be coming back to this store.
Asked for help from a worker and was told he was not an electrician I showed him exactly what I needed which was a socket he ended up helping me but I felt like I was a bother to him Went to look for rock for garden no help there at all .I gave up. Cadhier was friendly
Best place and only place for us to shop for home projects. Love that they cater to military and extend to family members. Lowes is always organized and very clean. I have never seen their bathrooms dirty. Their employees are always nice and will go out of their way for you. Its my second home now since i am an electrical contractor, i am always here spending my money. I always direct my customers to lowes when they ask where to buy items for projects because i know they will get the most for their money here. I am determined to bring any home depot customer over to lowes and see for themselves.
Nobody to help with appliances. Not even the manager wanted to help. Person in appliances sat on the phone for over 15 minutes and didnt call for additional help even when it was obvious there were other customers waiting to be helped. They dont deserve the one star I gave. Plenty of employees in gardening though.Here, again 10/15/19 and no one to help in appliances.
They had just what I needed however they couldve honor the fact that Im a government employee without having to register on their website for the discount to apply to my total. I go anywhere else and all I have to do is show my government identification and I get the government rate. I was a little bit disappointed 😞
Ive been a Lowes girl for a long time. This time, I bought a contractors pack of 3 Badger 1/3 HP garbage disposals for my property management job. They were about $72 each and I had a $25 off coupon that Lowes had mailed me. Nice. I like this particular Lowes because its very close to where I live and the people who work there are nice and knowledgeable. I go to this Lowes about 2 or 3 times a week. Obviously, I will go there again.
This has by far been the worst purchasing experience I have EVER had. First the store gives me a quote for countertops. Then the supplier goes out of business before I can place an order. We re selected an alternate product and received a quote. Then when I called to make the order they gave me a different price. After an hour of debate they agreed to give me the original price. I went into the store to place the order and pay for the counter tops. They gave me a date of Feb 23rd. That date came and went. When I called about the countertops to find out where they are, no one in store could tell me what was going on. After waiting an entire day I received a call telling me the manufacturer never received the order and that they would get ordered immediately and that I would receive a 20% discount. They told me that they would email me confirmation that the order was received and a receipt for the 20% refund. This morning when I called because I did not receive an email. I was told by the individual I spoke to that they knew nothing about the situation. I will never purchase with any Lowes EVER AGAIN.
Never enough employees to help! At customer service I always wait a minimum of 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. Paint counter employee is super grumpy. Also waited in the wire cutting area for 20 minutes as the announcement went off for service and no one showed. I left and went to Home Depot.
Went to Lowes a week ago. Two clerks told me the wrong isle for the rain gutters. One clerk said something inappropriate to me about telemarketers after he answered his cell phone!Yesterday, the man wearing a camafouge vest was helpful finding a part for a lawnmower. Otherwise, there were several standing around talking. They did not have the filter that was supposed to be in stock according to Lowes website.
Enrique and his appliance delivery team are professional and exceptional! An issue came up the day of delivery, so I coordinated with Enrique to get it scheduled the next morning and it was delivered as promised. We are stationed overseas, so having that peace of mind was great. We miss that San Antonio hospitality. Thanks!
Great service....they know there stuff! Bought a whole order of 8 foot fence by accident and they took care of it and sent out all the 6 foot tretext wood fence that we needed.Edgar Hernandez was an amazing help and I want to recognize his customer care and service!! Ty Edgar
Went to buy a washing machine. Couldnt get any help. The 2 men at the desk near the washers were sitting down and they were both on the phone. Did not seem like work related. We waited for them to get off for some time and nothing. Finally 1 of them got off and walked right passed us. I asked him for help but he rudely just kept walking!So we went to BEST BUY where we admittedly got help and bought a washing machine. With lower warranty.
Every time I come here, I regret it. The staff are apathetic and unfriendly, with very few exceptions. Lots of unprofessional, loud behavior. Most of the staff act like theyre so exasperated by their customers. Its like a bunch of high school fast food employees who really dont care, except theyre all mature adults. Its actually kind of funny but equally pathetic on their parts. Im leaving the store now and I cant get over how consistently bad every experience is here. While this location is more convenient, I think Im going to have to make the drive to Home Depot next time.
People were kind, store was clean , but they didnt have what I wanted in stock even though web said they did, and I needed a tank for my toliet and they dont carry them but they are on there web site (One can not measure distance between holes over the internet) I bought the last one at home dept but it dont fit either. Its not far to have to buy a whole new one if only one thing is broke.

2022-03-24Rubin made my day! After being refused service at Home Depot he made me feel like I was someone who mattered. Helped me find the perfect lumbar I needed for my painting class to build my frames with. AND to top it off he helped me measure the inside of my car to make sure it fit! This is the best customer service experience I’ve had at Lowe’s and I will forever be a customer.

2022-07-22A little disorganized, was looking for a certain item. On isle 61 two employees didnt know where it was. So I asked where this item was located. Showed it on my phone that this location had one. So instead of trying to help find it .I was told it must have been sold already. Then I asked why does it say there is one still in inventory. Was told the computer is always saying that stores have stuff and they dont really have it. Made a special trip for nothing what a waste of Diesel.

2022-03-11I shop here all the time. while Im waiting for my crew to arrive with my truck I went to get safety vests for them. As Im browsing an employee walks behind me at the key station and gives me a dirty look. Her name was Maria , then out of nowhere she says stop opening them. You dont need to open them theyre all the same size. Loud and rudely. Theres a better way to communicate with customers. I let her know Im not opening them and no theyre not the same size. Different brands have different sizes. She continues her rant in a rude matter. well you dont need to open them, yall all always open them and you dont need too I show her , this one was open and I looked at it and its in the wrong bag, dont worry Im not opening them. Si wouldve let it go but she went on for several minutes repeating yall always open them , yall think you know but you keep opening them. I told her she could stop and she kept on. I went to ask for a manager and 12 min waiting and no one showed up. I told the cashier supervisor up front. I ended up not buying the vests or the lumber and sheetrock we needed for the job.

When we asked him for help he replied “this is not my department” and walked away.We decided to leave and come to LowesWe ended up being helped by a very friendly and professional associate named Julio.Julio greeted us and answered every question we had and even walked with us to find the exact items we had been looking for .It’s employees like Julio that are true assets to any company! Just thought y’all should know !

2022-03-25Enjoyed the Halloween decorations, however, we had to find a motorized cart ourselves and look up/down all aisles with no one even asking to help. This was 3 years ago.Forward 12/8/2021Went to get a xmas tree with my daughter and grand daughter, and discovered Tony. This young man was jovial, happy to help, and gave us extra parts of the trees for my daughter’s daycare for craft day. He was told not to put trees in peoples cars (understood) but I joked with him putting a scratch on my peeling paint job, and we had a good laugh and helped us anyway. His overall assistance and help should not go unrewarded by management. This is why people come back to this Lowe’s because of employees like him. Thank you Tony.The cashier (I forgot her name) was helpful too when we called twice. She did seem more intune to Lowe’s rules and the gate closing on time though. We gave both of your outstanding employees a Christmas tip. Thank you Lowe’s!

Also, its impossible to get any type of service over the phone. Im 9 months pregnant and need my order delivered and STILL unable to get the manager Pricilla on the phone!

2022-04-05Garden center had plant full size carts blocking 4 of the isles we wanted to look through for plants. Closeouts on end caps were ok. Full 6 foot to be placed racks blocking isles was not acceptable. My husband did not have the energy and if in a handicap cart would not have any access to half the outside garden area. This is a heavily visited area Veterans. How do they navigate this place?
