I hope the woman working in shoes on Wednesday 11/17 (morning and early afternoon) is paid well. She was doing the work of several people and was waiting on quite a few people at one time but still managing to help everyone out. I also bought a purse in another adjacent area, and I found out the woman in shoes was also ringing up the purses! They had a lot of good deals on these items, and I found what I needed for a very reasonable price.
Went into Barton Creek Mall today at 1:20 p.m. looking for a Sealy hybrid mattress on sale for about $650 w free bed frame. The saleswoman, (petite frame w blond short hair) told me the only thing that qualified for a free bedframe started at $799 and they dont carry any of the cheap merchandise. Yes, cheap - .... I said, thats insulting and I didnt think Macys sold cheap products. When my husband found the cheap Sealy hybrid for $647 w/ a freebed frame, there was no attempt to apologize. We opted to buy the mattress, a gift for our daughter, online.
One & only my favorite Employee Mr. Larry. Hes ever best employees at this place. Very nice humble & cooperative. Best ever customer service. Only due to his customer service I love to visit this place everytime. I would love to refer my friends & family to visit Barton Macys & meet Mr. Larry.
I normally buy everything at Macy’s, but the shoe clerk at the little Finish Line here is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. He’s not friendly or helpful with customers at all. He just watches anime instead of helping customers and then is rude if a customer interrupts his show with questions. Definitely buying shoes & socks elsewhere
We went in for a new pots and pan set and had a fantastic experience. Not only did I find the perfect set but the manager carried it to my car because it was pretty bulky. Add to it that the cashier was so helpful in helping me find the right gift for my sister and I was one happy girl🥰
I was walking in the door with a huge box of shoes when Tess said, Do you have a return mam? Tess was working in the dress department ,she carried the box to the register, processed the refunds for a total of 5 pairs of boots! She was so kind,helpful,kind and efficient. Then I went to the jewelry department to pick up a diamond ring that Natalia had sold to me. She is so knowledgeable, and seems to know what I like! In fact, I bought another diamond ring from her! She makes sure that I get the best deal and the most Macys points possible. She is my friend and simply exudes the Spirit of MACYS. 💗
Nice and supporting staff helping patiently to chose every items on the display. Sometime later we had an change of heart and the staff was able to pick the preferred item. With Macy card we were able to get additional discount on top of current offer and it was around 20% further of the discount price. Good choice to visit while planning for an gift/gift card option.#HappyShopping
First time to this mall.Sad some stores are closed.I found Macys had a nice variety of goods. And was clean and I enjoyed shopping in different departments..Not many sales associates, but the store wasnt crowded by any means, the ones there were nice and helpful 👍 Ill definitely shop here again..❤
Nice people, I feel like they did a pretty solid job of service, product was a little lacking, but Im not sure what to expect from a department store anymore. It was a trip down memory lane oh, because it reminded me of my youth and how much we would look forward to going to the department store, because they had everything there! Its amazing how much things have changed now. Anticipation really seems like it is a thing of the past, doesnt it? Nothing like a little philosophy and Analysis in the middle of a review, right?
I purchased a sweater from this store last month and decided to return it. When I returned it I noticed the credit did not match what I spent. It turns out the cashier added a donation to UNICEF to my order without asking me. While a small amount, this is theft and is unacceptable. Watch your receipts! Will be shopping elsewhere.
No longer carries maternity, petite or plus sized clothes. Great employees. Clothes available for men, children and teens/juniors. Slightly disappointed that now I can only buy shoes and housewares there when I can buy all of that at so many other places. Currently has some clothes from seasons prior if you are good at treasure hunting. Im not. J. Crew down towards Nordys has more plus sized than Macys.
Staff very professional and Ive even had the experience of working where myself and one of the staff both talk to the customer about needing the boarding a plane with her items within a couple hours and together we got er done. I had to jump through hoops to get it delivered but without his help it wouldnt have happened so everyone be blessed.
Very average Macys limited by the small size. Merchandise is basic with a limited number of brands and styles compared to larger stores. If you want your basic Levis or Nike, youll find it at this store. You want Lucky Brand or any more stylish brand, youll need to find a larger Macys. Staff is friendly and mean well but no one stands out and makes you want to shop with them. Very average Macys in all ways.
Nicely stocked, easy to compare items, and great service from a human in America, imagine that warm, personal shopping experience! Customer for decades, glad to see that Macys is trying to find an enjoyable and efficient alternative to the cold world of online shopping, which I do plenty of.
Purchased a couch in furniture department. Lori was extremely busy yet extremely helpful and professional. We picked a fabric while Lori was assisting another customer Lori having several other customers arriving after us came back and completed our transaction. Great selection of furniture at competitive price points. If you shop furniture at BartonCreek Macys furniture find Lori.
I love shopping at Macys! This store has something for everyone. I appreciate being able to always find something to wear here, even at the last minute. Trendy kids clothes are available in a variety of styles and sizes. Coupons are amazing and sales are the bomb! I shop discount stores, too, but Ive never found one that consistently beats Macys prices. Most of the sales people are knowledgeable and patient, even when your 15 yr. old has to text each outfit to his date for her approval! Consistently offers quality and bargains for shoppers willing to peruse their quantity of merchandise!
Ms. Kim is the sweetest Lady. She helped my Mom and myself get our necessities for my daughters wedding in the hosiery department. She sure can move fast between the register and the dressing room. I only wished someone could have helped her but she was a trooper and handled it very well. I recommend Ms. Kim highly to anyone!
I love Macys. Only, when i go there i dont really look like the typical person that might go shopping there so i usually get followed around or treated like i cant afford to be there. I do enjoy the makeup and the concept that is Macys tho perhaps a less judgemental attitude might go a long way. Ive had 300$to spend in my pocket and asked why i was there was there something i needed before going on my way. So i didnt spend a dime of it there. Usually Ill just shop online to avoid people all together which is unfortunate because i spend way more when i am able to get the whole experience
I love this department store! The make up and parfum department had plenty of samples, the store was organised and clean. The staff was wonderful and there were plenty of people to help. The staff were all dressed professionally and with attention to detail. I especially enjoyed the employee working the dine jewelry counter, Tatiana. She was very helpful and new her product. Her customer service was outstanding.
Blast from the past was what I thought as I entered this store. The store had a feel from the 90s and I cant put my finger on why. Maybe it was the old look of the place or how jammed packed full of stuff it was. Even the entrance doors screamed Outdated. The staff were helpful enough in directing me to the proper desk for picking up items ordered online. Checkout was relatively quick with no lines and no wait. I dont know if this was due to the time of day I was picking up or if there are just small crowds at this location.
Friendly sales associates - store is pretty big but not walking friendly, cramped/tight walkways especially near the cosmetics department. If youre claustrophobic or prone to it, beware, it can seem like the walls are closing in, it eases up around the handbags but thats a crowded space as well and not easy on the eyes when looking for a handbag. It can make your head spin some, trying to figure out in which direction you should go. Its just a bad layout design, escalators are dead center in the middle of the store hidden behind the jewelry counters depending on which way you enter the store, youll either go up in the left or right direction. Bathrooms are upstairs and quietly tucked away in the childrens section near the back, youll go on heck of a hunt through the furniture section trying to find it 🙄. Other than that its Macys.
My wife and I went to Macys in Barton Creek 07/09/19 at approximately noon time.According to my wife when shopping for woman clothing a middle aged woman working there was very rude to her. When my wife asked her a question about where the petites section was. She was clearly annoyed by the question as if we were disturbing her. She snapped back at my wife stating her to be more specific.After my wife walked away from her another employee witnessed the exchange assisted and directed in a very friendly manner to the correct location.Very nasty attitude from that first employee.We were from out of town visiting our son.Very rare we have ever had a bad experience at Macys.
One of the worst store for the name and brand tag it carries. You have stand in queue for at least 30min just to get checked out. All service personals are very very slow . If you get done ring from one dept. other department don’t check you out. Will never shop from Macy’s . Not sure how it is surviving in today’s era... well not long I think!!
It is always a hot mess in this particular Macy’s. The shoe department sales associates are not helpful. When purchasing some clothing that needed to stay hung up, the cashier took them off the hangers and rolled them up and bagged them before I noticed. I shouldn’t have to say no thank you to opening a credit card three times.This is your job, it’s not my fault if you don’t like it. It’s your responsibility to do your job. You don’t even have to do more, just your job.
Macys is a fixture in American shopping. This store has regularly renovated and revised to work to find customer appeal. That being said the final clearance section called Last Act is almost taking over the store. 95% of the time Ill shop Macys online and bring the return here. Lots more choices without rummaging to find sizes.
DO NOT BELIEVE SHEILA in FURNITURE!!!!!!!! I thought she was thoughtful and helpful when I decided to purchase a couch for my home. I was able to get a sweet deal of 24-months interest free. But I returned the couch as soon as it was delivered since the color didnt go well with the room. I thought it was no big deal to replace it with a different color. Boy was I wrong. In less than 2 weeks, the promotional period went from 24-months to 12-months. SHEILA SAID JUST CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE and they will switch it to 24-months (the replacement couch was put on the new 12-month period when she placed the order)...It has been a little over a year and Im still fighting with customer service for them to give me the original 24-month period. I am fed up with Macys customer service that seems to be outsourced to India-no offense, I get it, cheap labor and 24/7 availability.
I hope if there is a negative star rating ...which I can give here.Worst post sales experience.NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM MACYS.Bought a bed frame which got delivered by weeks of wait and it came broken. The MACY customer Service took 3-4 days to sort out the next delivery. we waited another 2 weeks to receive a bed which was broken AGAIN!! and in worst share than teh first time. we called their customer service and as if we were talking to a robot who cannot empathise and understand, very curtly just refunded our money with no apology or display of concern. To her refunding us our own money for a broken furniture piece which we did not accept was an act of obliging us.We received no further comms for MACYs to even understand or explain what went wrong.Disappointed!! God save them!!
I did purchased a Christmas tree online. I was told its will be delivered in the next five buessnis days. However, I did not receive the tree! I called them asking about my tree? The said its has not been shipped yet. I ask to cancel my item. She said we cant cancel but you can ship it back to us when you receive it so we can refund you. Such a horrible experience with a terrible customer service.
Tina up in appliances went above and beyond to make sure that we find what w needed and fully explained our options. She also was very patienet with all our questions and looking in other sites as well a warehouse even when it was close to closing time. Wish more customer service was like hers.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! very RACIST employees!!!! My sister and I went into the store to check out the perfumes and we were followed the entire time. We literally couldnt take 2 steps without being followed around everywhere we went it was ridiculous. We were treated like criminals from the moment we walked in. This old women was practically breathing down our necks the entire time. We were so uncomfortable we left. I would NEVER spend any of my hard earned money in a Macys ever again!!
Absolute HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Buyer beware, their furniture is cheap and not built well. Weve had broken furniture delivered to us now twice, and now have to reorder a third time to get this right. On top of the issues with broken furniture, weve been misinformed on a number of occasions about the promotion we bought into, being told that no minimum payments were due, etc. Only to find out that isnt the case and that payments were in fact due each month. Fortunately, we kept checking our account and finally was able to deduct that payment was due. Had we not paid, wed of lost our 12 months of interest free dues and this would of hit our credit. Disorganized, poor quality products, misinformation, and just overall one of the worst shopping experiences weve ever had.. after spending over $6,000 in furniture from this retailer its been nothing short of a huge rip off and waste of money and time. Avoid buying furniture from this place at all cost.
I did not have a pleasant time when I was trying to buy some Ray Bans. The lady who sold me the glasses tried to rush my on buying glasses and it felt like she was like “can she hurry up and pick glasses already”. I only took like ten minutes finding out, which sunglasses I liked. When I bought my glasses I felt didn’t feel excited about the new shades, because this lady made my shopping experience unpleasant.
Ive been to many malls here in Texas and by far this one is one of the most organized Macys i have been too. I was able to go inside the fitting room without stepping on clothes on the floor. After i tried on a shirt and didnt like it a worker was waiting outside the fitting room ready to fold it.
In the cookware department the sale person very rude one of the females. So i decided to go over to another register. Didnt know that the guy was just as unhelpful. Im trying to ask for help and the woman said that I cant read your mind. Oh wow this how you treat your customers. I couldnt get a gift reciept for the wedding gift I bought today I had to stop in another department and the young lady in sun glasses department help me out.I will like to thank her again for her help
On 11/24, I arrived at the Macy’s store and was given a Apple Watch and left my daytime planner in jewelry. My best friend who purchased the watch waited for a hour and thirty minutes for assistance from management to review tapes and check lost and found. When I returned from the Apple store I waited another 30 minutes and finally Ms Jackson took us upstairs and was told by Manager G Donavan that they would review the matter and contact me if located. I thank God for Ms Syntera Maryland as she assisted me greatly and remembered what route I took and I retracted my steps and located my Daytime planner. I want to personally thank the Apple Store in Barton Creek Mall as they stopped immediately and reviewed the tapes and provided excellent customer service and helped me realize where I left my planner whereas Macy’s didn’t seem like they could not.
I really like macys I always shop online but some times I go to the store to check it out what I cand find. But I really dont like shopping at store some times the staf is really rude. Is really wear when u can find someone nice in this store. Worst customer service ever. Employees are standing around talking with other employees and dont bother to ask if you need help. The ones that are not talking, pretend to look busy and look the other way when they see you coming. The store was completely empty, not busy at all with customers, but plenty of employees standing around.I purchased a coat online, thinking it will be easy to just stop by and pick up before Christmas. Nope! My husband and I were downstairs looking for womens coats. After walking around, we finally stopped to asked. The lady in purses told us to go up the escalators and to the left, thats were customer service is. My husband and I saw the sign, customer service. After walking around in a circle following the sign that says customer service, we asked an employee and was informed they dont have a customer service! Why have a sign that points you to a place they dont have?! The so called customer service is located in pots and pans. When i received my coat that I bought online, i realized it was missing the belt. Im so glad i inspected it before i left. The employee told me he is not in charge of items purchased online, and we had to go downstairs and get a belt. Well, the jackets arent located downstairs, they are upstairs after we walked around downstairs trying to find that area. The guy was just trying to hurry up and get rid of us.Ive shopped at other Macys stores out of state, and this is the far worst place to shop if your looking for good customer service.
I bought a couch from Macys 18 months ago. I also purchased the extended warranty for stains and spills. Just yesterday I noticed the stitching on the seem of the cushion was coming lose. I called Macys and also called the warranty company....neither one of them will fix it. TOTAL RIP OFF. Only had the couch 18 months and already falling apart. Dont buy the warranty from them and dont expect them to fix their faulty furniture. Those sales reps must just tell you what you want to hear b/c I would have never imagined that they wouldnt fix this. Its faulty and structural. I will never purchase anything from Macys again due to this. There are other companies out there that cover there products. I would understand if years had gone by but it has been 18 months. Not Cool Macys....good luck staying in business with these kind of practices. Hopefully people will smarten up and skip Macys for furniture shopping.
Kind of sad what has happened to department stores. This particular Macys desperately needs a makeover/renovation. It actually smelled like mold when I first walked in. Very confusing layout, it was hard to find the escalator or the way out to the rest of the mall. I was obviously.looking for a particular item but no one asked me if they could help me find anything. I ebded up going to JC Penney whete I found the item I needed.
One of my favorite stores to shop, specially when I’m shopping for my husband.IT just upsets me very much to see people who are supposed to be a attending ( a sales rep) as customers service being very RUDE, UGLY and in a way DESREPECTFUL to the customer.And yes I understand, we all have a bad day, we are still humans and trust me that’s the first think I keep in mind in this situations, but this person goes way far than that.Sunday 11/12 husband and I are shopping for men’s shoes at the Barton Creek mall (Austin).I notice this sales rep at the shoe department, Been rude and ugly to an elder person and husband, but ok we all have bad days.Then two no English speaking guys need it some help, obvies that the sales person Melvin couldn’t comunicate with them, I ask if I could help and the guys said yes, please.Well at this Point I really didn’t understood what’s Melvin’s problem, right away you can notice his upsetting reaction. So no luck getting what the guys need it, with a very ugly frown in his face and a very rude way offer an option which didn’t work, ask for a different shoes and he just respond, that was not available either, left everything on top of the counter and walked. The guys ask what department I was, so if they need it more help they will come for my help, which I explain to them that husband an I were just shopping like them, kind of embarrassed, they said thank you for the help and apologized.So, husband and I still waiting for Melvin to help, waited for 5 to 8 minutes, saw him going around, us with the shoe on our hands kind of following him, but he just didn’t bother. At that point I got unhappy, ask other customer service rep if they can help me, they notice what was going on and apologized, the elder couple heard the situation and the lady approached us and stated that it wasn’t the first time Melvins behavior towards them, it had happen before.Ask for a manager, Megan at the time, explain her the situation and Assure me that his manager would be notified about the issue. I really hope some one pay attention to this person.
The only place I would visit again in Macys is there shoe store in there me and my family went to go shopping for an event we was going to attend and there was this lady following us with her thing in her ear like we couldnt notice ,but we did it was very unfortunate this happen because we love shopping and they want be getting any more of our money.....oh and also when we did need help nobody was available
My experience there was very bad. No one was there to check me out at all. Tried to return an item that I bought for my brothers, which didnt fit. They were clearance items and said that the items were worn. I asked if there was anything else I could do, she did not try to help me, she was the manager. She didnt even tell me to call customer service to see if they could help me at all. I dont mind no but at least try to show some remorse for your customers. Very bad service at Macy.
While shopping for a cocktail dress, not one employee offered to take the dresses to the fitting room while I looked. I had to ask where the fitting toom was, and once I got there found the entire area in disrepair. Targets fitting rooms have nicer flooring and paint than did Macys.
Horrible customer service. We got to the store at 8:35pm and the store doesnt close until 9pm. We shopped for a little bit and at 8:55pm they tell us to go check out at the closest register we go to 5 different registers and all their registers are closed by 8:57 and every single one of them tells us to go to another one!!! Its not even 9:00pm and all the registers are already closed and no one will help us. I ask for a manager and no one cared to help us. Close all your registers at 9:01pm not 8:55pm! Dont say your open until 9:00pm if your registers are closed before then.
WORST customer service ever!!!!! This is my first time and last time shopping at Macys! I bought four items online, and I exchanged three of them at the Barton Creek store. The charge for the three new items showed up on my credit card, but the refund didnt. When I went to the store, I was told they have no record of the refund. Essentially what it boiled down to is that they dont believe me. So I guess Im out $123! In the future Ill only shop at Nordstrom.

2021-10-27First time came shopping for a couch and found a good variety of styles, fabrics, and sizes. Sadly, I couldnt find exactly what I wanted, so I left empty handed.Next time I was there to shop for a dress for a formal event. So many beautiful dresses to choose from! Well organized by colors. Price points for all shoppers.Dressing room leaves a lot to desire. Clearly the oldest, most ignored part of the store. Flimsy walls. My door had trouble closing. But it provides privacy, so it achieves its purpose.Also want to comment that Christmas is slowly invading the store and it isnt even Halloween at this time.

2022-05-31What an unprofessional, degrading, embarrassing shopping experience at this location. My toddler decided to have a full on tantrum while we were upstairs. I sat in the furniture area to attend to him and diffuse the situation. This unpleasant employee, Lori, walks up to me and asks in an annoying voice if I needed help. I replied by saying no and that I was just letting my toddler’s tantrum phase out. Also, I was checking on my other children to see if they needed anything. She tells me to “Get out” and that I was “bothering other customers” in the store. Proceeds to leave the area as soon as I asked for her name and that I would be calling corporate and her supervisor. Lori also had the audacity to call security on me. I’ve never been so humiliated and degraded in my life. What a piece of artifact you are. Another customer, which you were helping, asked if I was okay. If my child was okay. She had more compassion than you. This employee needs to not be in this type of position. Thanks to Katrina (Jewelry Employee) and Mario (Supervisor) for hearing me out. According to Katrina, this is not the first time Lori is unnecessarily rude to customers. 2022-02-24I love walking in on sales 😍 This place wasnt so crowded, clean and friendly definitely mask present. First time in this location loved the move around room inside. I was able to find a 12 piece comforter set on sale for $38 tax included 😲 you cant beat that lol 😆 I have sense joined their website!

2022-04-22The clerk was super nice. She assisted us with getting the sizes that we needed for different shoes. I am very indecisive and would understand if somebody was not patient as I try close to a million pairs of shoes.. she was nice every time and made my shopping very much enjoyable with her great service. 2022-05-26Probably the worst Macys that Ive ever been to. There is a young man that he is very not friendly in his dealing with customers. I picked up some pieces of clothing to buy. When I came to pay, this guy didnt even asked me if I have a Macys card. However, I inserted my card into the machine and I was waiting for my rewards to come up so I can use them. But he completely ignored me and finished the purchase without even asking me if I have rewards want to use. I made him return everything and start over, so I can redeem my rewards. He didnt like my request and I can tell from his body language the way he was upset despite its his fault.

2022-06-23We spent over $3,000 on a Sealy box springs and mattress just a few months ago. It was delivered and setup as expected. Recently my side of the bed gives zero support and when I exit the bed, the mattress stays depressed in the middle as if a heavy weight was still on it. I weigh 175 so I dont think Im providing much of a challenge for this $3K bed.Not only is the mattress sunken in the middle, it provides zero support so when I wake up my shoulders hurt so bad I have to take ibuprofen and stretch for 30 minutes before I can wiggle into a shirt.So I did when anyone would do -- I called customer service. After waiting an incredibly long time on hold, I finally spoke to a human who was kind enough. The next part was awesome, as I was told they can have someone inspect the mattress in 3 weeks. Keep in mind this is 3 weeks before someone will look at it - who knows what if anything they will do to fix the situation. Meanwhile I just had my hip replaced and Im sleeping on the floor looking at a $3K Sealy mattress set.I would VERY strongly advise against purchasing anything from Macys if you ever might need their so-called customer serviceI would give zero stars if allowed.

2022-07-13I was visiting from Miami and stopped by this Macy’s while in vacation in Austin and received the best customer care I’ve had at any Macy’s by the selling specialist Dominique Hernandez. He truly is an asset to the company and went above and beyond in helping me and my mother.

2022-03-08Unbelievably BAD SERVICE. DONT EVER BUY FURNATURE FROM THEM. Long, long story short, weve been sitting on a rug in our living room for a week waiting on a sectional couch to come. Theyve missed 3 different delivery dates and do so with about as bad a customer support and communication as possible. They really dont care...and they are horribly inept. Never left a 1 srar zero review before but that actually seems too high. They deserve a zero but Google wont let me post a zero star review.
