I LOVE IT here. My kids even enjoy shopping with me. Theres special parking for vets & expectant moms. Great treasures around every corner. My aunt lives in Yorkshire & when she came to visit, Market 33 carried her favorite local-to-her tea! She gasped, Where did you find this?! More wine & brew than you would believe--lots of local. The fresh tortillas are our favorite. Tons of dietary special foods for when my mom visits. Friendly, smiling associates & great atmosphere--not manic & crowded like other stores. We only shop here.
Interesting little grocery store. I kept being told they had the best produce and meat in the area. I beg to differ. It had some interesting things but the Hamburger I bought was so fatty, no where near the 80/20 the package said. Produce was no better, not even much of a selection.
It’s a nice place. It’s a little out of the way for me but I’ll go here now and then and stock up on some things that are a lot cheaper than Market Street etc. i saw a lot of comments about them being expensive but I don’t think they are. The only place I know that’s cheaper is Walmart but I don’t go to Walmart unless I have to.
Good place to procure nuanced notions and sundries, while nabbing good quality produce. For me, having a place I can find Bawls Guarana, peppered water crackers, fresh celery and vine tomatos is useful and I find myself making a special trip ever couple of weeks at least.
This was my first time in this store, but not my last. The store was extremely clean, neat and organized. The atmosphere was pleasant. I really liked the alcoholic section being on an end isle, in a place of its own. To me its nice having mature beverages separated from children beverages. I was impressed with that. The prices of various products are reasonable, giving a little competition to area grocery stores. Most of all its clean!
For the prices they charge now, youd think youd find items not sold anywhere else. They should outright just expand the tasting room to a bar and just sell exotic beers and tortillas tbh.Edit: my mother says the prices are good and that Im crazy. But her judgement can be suspect imo lol so I bumped up the rating by 1 star.
I have shopped at this store for some time now and i am fed up, and will not continue to come back. when this location first opened it was great and i thoroughly enjoyed coming here, but it has gone down hill. when it first opened the owners would be very involved and interact with their customers, and would actually make us feel welcomed, now anytime they are on the floor they seem to be in a rush and do not care to talk to look at the customers, and watching them interact with the staff is disappointing. they talk down to their employees, which makes the employees seem miserable and constantly on edge. and right after they chew someone out they march right back upstairs! i personally feel that they are lazy and want everyone to do everything for them, with little to no guidance. for what the employees get as far as guidance they do great. the produce always is awesome and so it the meat market, some of the best in amarillo, but i will no longer purchase it because i know who’s pocket it will be going to. going strictly based on the stores look and product in the store it would be a solid 5 stars, but seeing how the store is run (mostly secondhand by what i can only presume are underpaid employees) i am giving the store 1 star (i wish i could do even less).
I heard from an employee that eggs that had been previously THROWN OUT, were pulled from a DUMPSTER, and put back on the shelf! All this happened because the owner wanted to cut corners, RISKING THE HEALTH OF HIS OWN CUSTOMERS to save a buck..... Absolutely disgusting!!!!!Edit:This location was visited by the Amarillo health department as part of an investigation into the event mentioned above. The owner, Ken Copheranham, was forced to throw out all the eggs on their shelf, and pay a large fine.
Usually LOVE this place. How come there was no warning that the store now closes at 9 p.m.? The Facebook page still says 10 p.m., this Google page says 9:30 p.m., but we were practically thrown out of the store at 913 tonight, 10/11/21!! I paid for a bag of ice but forgot to grab it in my rush to get out of the way, and walked back up to the door not 30 seconds after I left. Banged on the doors but there was not a soul in sight inside already, and the lights went out at 915. So we wasted money on ice. What ARE the actual store hours now?? Maybe everyone should be on the same page, and let the public know.
I like to come here when I dont have a lot of time to shop. Prices are a bit above average but they do carry quite a few things that cant be found anywhere else that I know of in Amarillo. They also have a decent selection of non-alcoholic beers which is nice. Workers are always friendly and I rarely have to stand in a line to check out which more than makes up for spending a few dollars more per trip.
I love this store. Where else can you go to drink a beer and shop at the same time. On top of that you can try the beers they have on the shelf so you know exactly what its going to taste like when you get home. Its not the everything stop kind of place but its definitely a date night and specialty food kind of place.
This store is very clean. They have a tortilla and bakery area with fresh pastries daily. A large selection of craft beers and wines . They have a large selection of specialty items that you would normally find in a larger market Street type store. Dragon fruit for example. I cant say that their prices are very competitive but reasonable enough. I was impressed enough with the variety of things that I rarely see at my usual store that I will be back. Especially to get the fresh cherry turnovers that my wife loves.
I like how they have items that other stores dont carry, but if I am to be completely honest I prefer United Supermarket over Market 33, not saying Market 33 is a bad store, it just didnt live up to the hype for me. To each their own. I can see how this would be a lovely place for some people because they have a HUGE selection of wine and craft beer, a wine tasting room, fresh Tortillas, and a unique selection of produce and items you cant find around Amarillo.
This is the BEST grocery store in Amarillo. Prices are better than Walmart. It’s nicer than United. Produce is great. Super clean. Very well stocked. During covid panic I found bleach eggs milk yeast here. They have a big wine and beer selection. Bonus a coffee shop and wine tasting bar!!!! Fresh tortillas made in front of you as well as a bakery and great meat Selection. Also really cool drinks like Rose Bud Kombucha. Dealt they have it all and it’s never super busy. No long lines. Absolutely perfect for Amarillo. It’s not super close to my house and I still go out of my way to come once a week bc it’s just that good. BONUS recycled plastic bags. Can you ask for more! Oh yeah. Curbside pick up too.

2022-05-24We try to shop here exclusively because they are an independent grocery store. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the store is always clean. They have a bakery area in the back and you can get a pastry or a drink to enjoy while youre shopping. Restrooms are also in the back next to the bakery. They make their own tortillas in the store and they sell out fast. They now have a loyalty program so youll have to download the app and make sure they scan it at every purchase. They also give away free items through the app so check it whenever you shop there. I highly recommend Market 33, its our favorite grocery store.

2022-05-17This was my first trip there. It is so nice and clean and well arranged!! I would give 5 stars except that they dont carry a line of sparkling waters, just plain club soda. The kid who checked me out was super friendly and professional. I will definitely be back!!

2022-07-04Very friendly staff and managers. Always ready to help you with finding what you are looking for and offer their services. Like cutting meat or checking in the back for things that may not be on the shelf.

2022-05-18I love that its close to home if I just need a couple items, however the prices are a little higher than other places so I cant afford to do all of my grocery shopping there. The best part is getting a fresh hot tortilla to munch on! And the employees are always friendly and willing to help with anything! ❤

2022-02-24Market 33 has a great selection of food as well as a surprisingly large selection of beers and wines. Plus a nice little bar inside, so you can get your buzz on while you buy. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the prices on good were just a little on the high end for me.
