Great people. Great plants and prices.
Native, perennial plants. Great selection, knowledgeable staff.
Experience was AWESOME! Met with owner Ted Meador and his lead designer for a job interview and both men were courteous, professional and incredibly welcoming. An attitude at a business usually originates from the top and trickles down so Im sure the rest of the staff handles their conduct in the same manner. Products are going to be more expensive then the big box chains but youre paying for excellent customer service and a high-end product that the big stores are incapable of producing. Meador’s customer service is outstanding! Always kind, always helpful. More than a month ago I was here looking for a specific plant. This week they called me to let me know they have it in stock again.
Always a pleasant experience here. Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, and they always have an amazing selection thats easy to navigate. Its not hard to spend hours here 😁
Lots of trees and bushes and knowledge, needs more smaller plants with color. Can be pricey, just depends. Hours are not friendly for working folks on weekdays, kinda hard to get to and parking is limited.

Worst customer service. Couldnt give me prices over the phone. I said I was going to open the account (as I do with other nurseries) but after listening to the condescending way the manager spoke I will not be conducting business with them. Thanks have a wonderful day!

Great plants and bonus antiques
We wanted to redo our retaining walls around our pool . Ted Meador arranged it and the crew did a marvelous job. If you want a high quality job you cant find a better place and that includes the plants and garden products.

This nursery has a great selection. The price is great too. Dont waste your time over at Noles across the street, that place has terrible customer service and a lot of dead plants. I am a landscaper, so I frequent all of the local nurseries.

They have a great selection of plants you wont find a lot of other places and maintain a lot of inventory. It is more expensive than a big box store, but I think the quality is worth it.
Very nice folks there and good selection. Prices are a little more than at the big box stores but I like to support independent stores as well as the big box!

Great selection of perennials, herbs, and some native plants. Some unique items. Quality is good, plants are healthy. Prices ok, higher than big box store but lower than Calloways.

Weve used Meadors for landscape design and installation in the past. Their guys who do rock work and hardscapes are the best in Denton. Its well worth the extra cost compared to others. For plants and flowers, we still visit Meadors once or twice per year, but weve found that Four Seasons on University seems to have a more consistent selection of great plants. Both are very good.

2022-06-12We used Meador for a backyard design after a pool build. Marshall was our designer and while the consult and install schedules were pretty packed, we were thrilled with the final result. There was great attention to detail and the 3 guys who installed did such a good job. Its been 3 months now and the plants are thriving. Will be excited to see it in another year when it fills in. I thought their pricing was reasonable too.

2021-05-01I actually found a ginkgo tree, finally. Nice people. A little more expensive than Im use to, but they have lots of good stuff you dont find at the chain stores. Wide selection of big trees, shrubs, flowers. Lots of native Texas plants. Also very happy about my blueberry bushes I purchased from them a couple of years ago.

2021-10-06This place is not customer oriented. The owner just told me to basically screw myself because 3 juniper Taylor’s died that my wife and I purchased from them. No replacement, no store credit. Nothing.. and then he’s got his little assistant Kaitleen or Kathryn . What ever name is . She was highly unprofessional and rude . Stay far away from these people

2018-04-30An extremely well organized nursery with multifarious plants and trees arranged by type and size. It looks like an exotic oasis out back and the inside is adorned with colorful yard art. Great employees with an abundance of experience and knowledge to be able to answer any questions that anyone may have. Not only do they have a wide array of plants and trees, but they also have a great many pots of all different shapes and sizes. If you normally go to a mega store or specific chain of nursery.to do your business then I would suggest you stop going to those places ave give Meador Nursery a chance at earning your business. Theyll do so and you wont feel anything but happiness that you gave them a chance. Your trees, flowers, and plants will also thank you by blooming extra large year after year! :-)

2018-05-03Meador Nursery consistently offers a fantastic selection of healthy and beautiful plants, including natives. For my money, you will not find a more helpful and knowlegeble nursery staff in Denton. Plus, they have the cutest shop inside that includes all manner of garden tchotchkes and vintage household items. I adore this place and the staff. Best nursery in Denton!
