Mike and his mechanics battled an electrical ghost issue during a tough process of sensors and involving my 2015 Duramax. He fixed it for a fair price when most might of told you to take to another shop.
Mike and all of the guys at Mike’s Mobile Automotive really know what they are doing and they will not only fix your vehicle, but find any other issue it may have. They will fix it ALL the way, and they are honest. I have been bringing my vehicles there, since they opened about 18 years ago or so, and there is really no other place I would bring my vehicles. As someone who was is the automotive repair business its very important to find someone honest and reliable. Mike and his team checked all of my boxes when Im looking for a goto repair shop. Been using Mikes since Hurricane Harvey, our motor home engine compartment and transmission and underbelly was damaged n severly rusted. we towed it in and in a week or so we drove it out, AWESOME job professional, quality, fair n honest, it was a challenging repair tho they did great, been using them since, just had some electrical dash light issue on my ford transet van n they gotter done !!! Mikes Mobil Auto Services at 1959 Saratoga Suite 800 is a great Mechanic because I took my vehicle to several places and got wrong diagnostics. Then within 2 days he fixed the problem. I recommend highly Mikes Auto Servicees off Saratoga.
I was very pleased with the service to my truck. For months I was thinking why is the fan kicking on well it turned out that my air conditioning needed Freon. It would kick on when the compressor would over heat. Never the less I took it to Mikes Mobile Service and it was cool again before summer awesome. Thank you so much Mike and I will be going back if I need anything else on my truck.👍😊
Mike and his staff are extremely knowledgeable. They helped me understand what was wrong with my vehicle and what steps it was going to take to repair it instead of simply throwing me a bill blindly. I really appreciate the way I was treated at mikes auto repair. I wouldnt hesitate to take any of my vehicles back to him. If it helps a potential customer, I had an entire diesel engine replaced that had irreparable internal damage.
Mikes Automotive took my 2008 F350 blown motor out and installed another 6.0 diesel and new transmission in my truck in less than 2 weeks. Installed all brand new parts that Id ordered through them. I absolutely love my truck now. I would give the Pepsi challenge with Mikes shop against any other South Texas diesel or automotive shop. Great people very professional

When my Honda’s skid plate and shield dislocated and bent while driving I-37, a family member of mine recommended this shop to get it fixed. Mike and his crew were very friendly in their service. Very quick and convenient if you are looking for car repair or part replacement in the Corpus area!
Mikes mobile is my go to spot for any of my vehicle issues I’ve gone to different shops that could not fix it and would keep it for weeks/months and not get it fixed! Mikes mobile got my truck and had everything fixed within a week they are very professional and keep you updated with your vehicle status I highly recommend them if you ever have any vehicle problems they will take care of you!
I have had several trucks and a car worked on at Mikes Mobile. I absolutely love the service and workmanship I have received. This includes road service in an outlying area. Response time, INCLUDING REPAIRS, were under an hour!!! Another call to Mikes Mobile, after hours, when I was in Utah, resulted in Mike himself walking me through the problem and getting me back on the road. I absolutely recommend Mike and the guys at Mikes Mobile any day, all day! 5 stars, only because thats all I can give!
I went in for DEF service and Mike was able to clean out my whole exhaust system and replace the DEF pump that was giving out, he was also able to diagnose and fix a problem I was having with a shake it the drive shaft due to bad carrier bearing. He also took the time to explain why the carrier bearing went out and a solution to fix it.
Mike is a great guy; very knowledgeable. I went in for an AC issue, and I was taken care of in no time. I have lived in corpus for over 4 years, and I have not been to a shop that made me feel so welcome and not like a paycheck. Mike and his crew will be my go to guys for all my cars troubles.
Mike has been my mechanic for about two years now and there is know I trust more to work on my Dodge Ram 3500. On two occasions my One Ton has broke down. Being a work truck and only transportation I explained how desperately I needed to back on the Road. He and his co-workers stayed late doing diagnostics and making repairs. I really appreciate the time and dedication they took to have me back up and running. Very knowledgeable and striaght forward. Of course its always to pain when your stuff breaks down but atleaeat I know who do call when in does. Mike Mobile gets 5 stars in my book.
It has been awhile since Mikes Mobile auto did work on my 5.9 Ram 2500, but after seeing a friend go through a similar situation i think everyone should be cautious while dealing with this man. I had an injector go bad, so after trying to tackle it myself, I caved and took a recommendation to send it to Mike who was apparently a Cummins expert. I get it towed there, he assesses the damages and recommends me going with all brand new Bosch injectors and changing a portion of my motor out with upgraded parts including ARP head studs and a bunch of racing parts. The total was around $10,000, but once again he came highly recommended and seemed to know the motor inside and out. A few weeks later, i get my truck back, everything seems fine for about a week when i break down with another bad injector. I call him and he says its normal for one or two to need to be replaced again, he charges me again to replace two with FACTORY Bosch injectors. I agree, i pay, and he does the work. Pick up the truck again, drive off to San Antonio and on the way back i blow an injector again. I call him frustrated and he says to bring it in and he will figure it out at no cost to me. He ends up charging me some small assessment fees and says i am good to go again. I pick it up and not only two days later, it happens again. I was fed up, so i got a second mechanic involved. He pulled all the injectors and found that Mike had been replacing my injectors with rebuilt ones that were all marked from different vehicles they had been pulled from. The nozzles were for two different model Cummins motors, and not one of them was a brand new Bosch like i paid for. The head and Head studs were done correctly which was surprising but i was still out a few thousand for labor and materials for another new set injectors. All in all i spent over $12,000 dollars with Mike and he denied all the allegations saying that the new mechanic had switched them out to taint his name. He forgets that he showed me his injector rebuild machine he was so proud of. I met with a few lawyers in regards to being reimbursed for the work that was never completed but to be honest it was going to be too expensive and i had already spent a lot of money that i was not expecting on this 2007 truck. I would never recommend anyone taking their vehicle to this business, i hope this review will save someone the trouble that i had to deal with.
Mikes team gets it right the first time. They not only fix the problem at hand, but figure out why the problem occurred in the first place. Mike doesnt just fix your vehicle so you will go away, but wants to earn your business for a lifetime. They make it so simple and easy. Once you are in the system, you can call ahead of time for an oil change and your in and out very quickly. I love this place!!
I am from out of town and was traveling to Corpus Christi to visit family. The Change Oil light came on in my vehicle right before I left, so I did not have time to change it prior to leaving. I actually got to speak with Mike from Mikes Mobile Auto and he suggested that I have a BG oil treatment since my vehicle has close to 60k miles. Even though this is more expensive than a conventional oil change, I agreed to this service because I know any higher-mileage vehicle would benefit from a BG treatment, given the reputation of the BG product line. I am happy they offered the BG service, because it is not easy to find a shop that does. Thanks Mikes Mobile.
As a buisness owner and being down a truck I was amazed at the prompt service I received from Mike. His diagnostic was spot on and luckily he found a few items that wasn’t even what I brought my truck in for he explained what could happen if I didn’t fix these issues so we fixed them truck is running like new. Thanks Mike, I will never take my vehicle to another shop but yours!!!
Okay so.I drive a standard and my clutch went out at mt old mans job sight. Well mikes sent a wrecker that cost $75 and to do a.diagnostic was another $60 parts about 200$ which by the way who.buys a $13 small bottle of.brake.fluid when I had a full.bottle in back seat. So not only did they replace the clutch slave cylinder and that didnt fix the problem they then had to replace the clutch. They had my truck for 2 days and labor was $85 an hour for alittle over 5.5 hrs BUT WAIT THE BEST PART IS..... THEY DIDNT PUT THE SPACER IN IT WHICH COULD GIVE YOU.STARTER PROBLEMS AND ONCE AGAIN CLUTCH PROBLEMS

Mike helped me get my 2500hd diesel back up and running. Had issues with the steering gearbox, power steering pump, and even added a cooler to it. Works better now then when I first bought it.

My name is Thomas and over the years I have looked for good cheap mechanics. Thats what I got CHEAP work. Many times I have wasted hundreds of dollars just to have the same problem afterwards. My wifes Volvos had a big problem and all 20 valves got bent after timing went out. We had just bought the car 1 month earlier and were pretty taped out but she needed a car. I just happned to see Mikes Sign so I went in to see how they looked.I was impressed with how they took time to talk and explain everything to me several times without seeming upset. Most act like they are too busy to be bothered with you but Mikes was different , I felt good.He helped with the towing and was very helpful with working with my financial needs.Again not acting like I was wasting his time.Skip ahead and We have the car back sounding better than when we bought it . NO second hand parts or cheap auto store replacements were used , only Volvo parts from VOLVO. Great job guys. My wife could not be happier.There are a few things you can not be cheap about , if you want a good nights sleep. 1 is a quality mattress 2 are good sheets and 3rd is a good mechanic. Mikes may not be the cheapest in Corpus but hes not the most expensive ither. I found them Fair and worth the money and the wait, you can not rush quality.If you are looking for good people and are tired of wasting money on guys in run down shacks who work on you car when they have the time , Go here and see a group of real mechanics not here to rip you off. Had to switch mechanics after he gouged me on repairs and didnt fix the problem. Went to mikes and left happy. They fixed my wheel bearing for a reasonable price, I shopped around. Customer service was great and had my car back same day. Ill be going back.
I never wrote a review about this guy after he tried to get over on me in 2008. He was fixing stuff i never asked for driving my total to almost $900. I brought my father with me who has mechanic skills and end up only paying $300. He is now getting over on one of my buddies! I wish i could of told him not to go here smh.

My car was picked up on January 14 .Iwas told it would be about three weeks before they could get my car in three weeks went by and the excuse was they’re so backed up it’ll be another three weeks so I called back in that time frame it’ll be another three weeks I was given an excuse after excuse after excuse and all lies I spoke to one of the mechanics after hours who was still there and he told me that none of the things that Mike told me were true people were not out with the Covid the lights were not turned off they only have three people working there my car kept getting bumped for higher priority clientele I paid $170 for a tow there It is now March 12 and I called them and had my vehicle returned I do not recommend this place steer clear exclamation

BAD BAD BAD! We were told twice today that they could and would get to our vehicle! Then at 5pm they said they didnt and that they were now closed! But theyre hours are till 6 pm!!😠 Very unhappy! I could have taken it elsewhere!

2022-03-19My wife is a travel nurse working in town for a couple of months. I drove her down there from Florida to keep her company on her trip. On the way I noticed that the suspension on her vehicle was horrible! I spoke with my uncle when we got into town and asked if he could recommend a good mechanics shop to look at it. Without hesitation he recommended Mikes Auto Services. I spoke with Mike on the phone and explained my situation. He said to bring it in so they could look at it even though they were extremely busy. They called a couple of days later with a complete list and cost of everything that needed repairs or replacement. During the process of repairs they found some other issues unrelated to the suspension and notified me to see if I wanted it fixed also. ALL the repairs were fixed the following day and now my wife has a safe vehicle to travel in while away from home. I even got a call from them the following day to make sure we were completely satisfied with all the repairs! Who does that nowadays? Thank you Mikes Auto and I will DEFINITELY recommend them to everyone I know there in Corpus!Update: Back in town now that my wifes contract at work is up and was getting ready to drive her back to Florida. Noticed the power steering was grinding. Called Mike up and right away he said to bring it in so they could look at it. They found multiple issues that needed to be repaired. He got it fixed so that we could have a safe trip home! Cant say enough about Mike and his guys at the shop. They are top notch and I wish he was in Florida instead of here! 2022-04-11My daughter started having no start/ dead battery issues with a 2007 Nissan Murano that my wife had given her a few days prior. Before that the vehicle ran fine. After replacing the alternator and battery as suggested by the local auto part store the problem didn’t go away. The vehicle continued to lose it battery charge and left my daughter and granddaughter stranded several times. So after a careful online search the Lord lead us to contact Mike’s Moblie Repair in Corpus Christi. Since my wife and I now live in Houston we couldn’t drive back to our hometown to find a trustworthy mechanic because of our busy work schedule so we had the vehicle taken to Mike’s Mobile Repair shop for a diagnostic evaluation and repair. Well as it turned out the vehicle had two parasitic drains that were cause the battery lose it charge plus a damage caused by the person who installed the alternator and battery. We are grateful that the owner of Mike’s Mobile Repair had the knowledge and experience to take time to find the cause of problem and correct it instead of just throwing parts at the vehicle and guess what the problem could be. This shop fixed my daughter’s car right the first time and got her and my granddaughter back on the road. Thanks Mike for being an honest mechanic and for billing the repair fairly. You and your staff did a great job. May the Lord continue to use your shop to help others stay on the road safely.

2022-07-18Wow, Mike was a lifesaver! My wife was down in Corpus with her 2 little nephews in my Ram 2500 Diesel and stranded at a gas station. The truck with only 38000 miles would not start and my wife was a total wreck! People tried to help her by jump starting but nothing worked. She needed to get back to San Antonio THAT DAY.I called Mike and he had it towed to his shop. It turned out to be two bad batteries and Mike stayed late to get it fixed and tested the charging system so she could get home. All the while he kept in touch with updates so that I could keep my wife informed of the progress. After all of that, he charged a very fair amount and was a pleasure to do business with.
