MinuteClinic in other cities:
It was awful. I walked in at 1:30 and I finally came into the office at 5:16. The service was very bad. The person who was working today was extremely rude and not customer service oriented. I waited that long because my baby was in pain and fever. Hopefully I will not come back to this place, but if I need to come, I will not want the same person to see me. Even my 5 years old toldme that the lady was not nice with his brother who was sick. AWFUL!
Ive been here three times and treated twice. The one time I wasnt seen, the NP was kind enough to hear my issue and then let me know that she couldnt treat was I was there for. She didnt charge me even though I was there for 10 or so minutes. And both times I was seen, Ive received compassionate, quick care.
I was very disappointed in this minute clinic. I am a single mom and was very sick when I went in. I had a fever and sore throat with sinus headache and congestion. I was not able to work at all and needed to get well as quickly as possible. This nurse was very nice but told me that what I had was viral and just needed to run its coarse and that my daughter just needed to take really good care of me and that I needed to go home and sleep. This was on a Wednesday. I would have had to take off the remainder of the week from work. If I dont work, I do not get paid. I can not afford to take off from work if I dont have to. I left and went to an Urgent Care facility and was prescribed a Z-:Pak. I took the first 2 that evening and was able to go back to work the next day with no fever. I wasnt back 100% but had no headache or sore throat and no fever and I was able to work. Each day that I take the remaining z-pak, I am better. Perhaps this solution works for some people but I came here looking for something to help me get better faster not wait it out.
I had a very positive experience here. Be prepared to wait a while. Go online to their website and register a place in line before coming in, otherwise youll wait even longer. Linda, the NP, was very friendly and nice. The exam seemed to take a while but was a very pleasant experience. Way better than most of my visits to medical offices.
Very friendly and nice to me and my family. The wait time can be a little long but that is to be expected when the person seeing you is doing everything including getting your info etc. There is a time estimate of how long so technically you could leave and come back if needed. Its a great resource.
These are Registered Nurses, not doctors - which means they dont have the skills/training to diagnose as a Doctor. You do not know it until you sit down in the office and tell you (after you waited and signed in). For the same amount of money you can go to a doctor in other places.
Forget online check in. That time is arbitrary. Forget timely service, you could wait over an hour before being seen even though you are on time for your appt. Finally left for the er because just couldnt wait for the mysterious practioner who would be back or the other practioner who decided after work was a fabulous time for a metting. So yeah, 45vminutes of no one on dutyvtends to back things up.

2021-11-19Totally horrible, awful, and to be very honest I do not have words to describe the ordeal we went through. I understand now, that CVSpharmacy is just a pharmacy and always will be. It cannot be a place for nurse practitioners. My wife needs a TB test for her school and we went to one minute clinic. They took her blood and did a wrong test. They called us back and we went their earlier than scheduled time and sat there for 3 hours and they did not take out sample again and kept on giving dates for 3 days and didint give a refund. We went to another minute clinic and they charged us money and same thing no test. They have 120$ for notest done. NEVER GO TO ANY ONE MINUTE CLINIC OR CVS!!!

2021-05-25DO NOT SEE A NURSE NAMED SALEEMA Hisani.I’ve been coming to this Minute Clinic for years, same insurance. Today accompanied by my children was the worst experience of my life. The nurse that was to treat my daughter was so rude and mean and impatient, it’s a shame CVS would have someone that horrible customer facing. I’m still in disbelief typing this. I didn’t bring my insurance card by mistake but was sure it’s what’s listed in the system but asked her if I could login to my patient portal at my doctor’s office to show her a screen shot of the info. She says yes and proceeds to keep throwing insults as I login. After I couldn’t bear listening to another comment, I asked her could I reschedule. She tells me 530 is the next appointment, I said I’ll take it. She threw out another rude comment. I then told her she was being very rude and told her she should be kinder to people that come here and she has no idea what people go through in their day to come see her for help, just be kind. She then barked at me in front of my children. As I just stood there in the door way where another patient watched on. She told me I was upset my insurance was declined, told me I refused to provide her any information after she asked, told me I was making a big deal out of nothing, told me me I was yelling and my tone was such she couldn’t help me. None of that was remotely true but I felt like she needed to say these things out loud outside of her office for validation and a witness maybe, just horrible. I then asked her name and she said she wouldn’t give it to me because I was going to report her and have her license taken away. I asked her a few more times for her name and stood there and she wrote it an a piece of paper illegibly so I asked her to tell me as well so I could remember. The next patient looked terrified to go in after she slammed the door in my face. I then knocked on the door and asked her if I was able to keep my 530 appt with the minute clinic. She tells me no because I’m reporting her and she can’t see anyone that is reporting her trying get her fired from her job and I’ll have to find some where else to go for help. People like this should not be the first thing an ill patient is met with especially a child. Today was my first interaction with a truly horrible person…find someone else…

2021-04-28Made an appt for 630. Arrived 15 mins b4 appt and never was seen. The clinic closed at 730 and my appt was cancelled with no warning. So i knocked on the patient room door and waited like 5-10 mins for the doc or whatever she is to come out. I told her I was skipped and doctor or whatever she was LIED and said she called my name and I didnt answer so I was skipped but I was standing right in front of the office. I told her no she did not and she told me to reschedule as she closed the door in my face. I was in serious pain and did not appreciate her lack of empathy. I was livid! Very disappointed!

2020-10-25I arrived 4 minutes early for a biometric wellness screening on Saturday, October 24th and signed in at the Kiosk per instructions in my email after scheduling my appointment online. It showed I was next with 0 minutes remaining. I decided to look at the cards while waiting. A woman (I have no idea what her name was but she obviously was having a bad day) opened up the door from one of the rooms and said, “if you’re waiting for minute clinic, you need to go back to your car and I’ll call you when we are ready.” So I went back to my car (guess you can’t shop) and she called me 26 minutes after my scheduled appointment and was blunt and rude, asking me what I’m in for. Once I told her a biometric screening (I had made an appointment for that online) she said, when did you eat last? I told her breakfast and what time I ate it and she cut me off saying I can’t do it and need to come back early morning when I’ve fasted. I was so upset. 5-6 hours might not be ideal but that’s up to me. And she was rude and almost 30 minutes late. What is the point of making an appointment? I will never go back there for anything. I decided to drive to the CVS minute clinic in Hurst inside Target after that waste of time and signed in at the kiosk as a walk in with no appointment and the nurse practitioner there (Sunny Brown) was so so friendly and accommodating and saw me right away. So if you need a minute clinic service, just go to Target! And they give you a $5 shopping coupon.

2020-06-02I have never written a bad review in my life but after sharing my experience from this past Friday, May 29th, I have been told I should share. So, I went in because my job let me know last minute that I needed to do a TB test so I looked up the closest MinuteClinic next to me because I have always had positive experiences with MinuteClinic until Friday.Anyways, I walked into the store expecting to do a walk-in appointment like I usually do and I read the sign saying that I had to make an appointment online because of the new regulations. I thought it was kind of weird considering that there was nobody in the clinic but rules are rules so thats what I did. No problem, so I go and make the appointment online at around 5:57pm for an appointment at 6pm which was their next available appointment I figured it would just take a few minutes because there was nobody in there and the NP just had to get herself ready. I went out to my car anyways even though there were several people wandering freely around the store already and then I sat in my car until I received a confirmation text for my appointment at 6:05, five minutes after my appointment time so I assumed this was my cue to go inside. I walked inside to go check the clinic to see if the NP was there and she was not but then she came literally storming around the corner from the back and looking at me with the most evil look. She started literally yelling at me and asking me DID YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN DID YOU MAKE IT FOR?? YOU CANT BE WAITING HERE LIKE THIS YOU HAVE TO WAIT IN YOUR CAR FOR ME TO CALL YOU. GO BACK TO YOUR CAR AND WAIT FOR ME TO CALL YOU. In front of everyone in the store. I just said okay and went to my car. I was extremely embarrassed that a simple misunderstanding turned into public humiliation on my part and I walked out of the store crying. Obviously, I didnt go back inside because Im not about to let someone that just yelled at me in front of the entire CVS put a needle inside me. I just hope that this NP learns some bedside manners and more importantly kindness and patience.

2017-12-07I had a good experience at this minute clinic. I think when others are complaining about the wait times, they don’t realize that the NP (nurse practitioner) has to do EVERYTHING. Meaning, she takes your insurance information/checks you in, does any necessary checks on you (blood pressure, heart rate, etc.), as well as diagnoses you, and then enters your information into the system and prescribes your medicine if necessary. Most of these things are done by receptionists or nurses that help out the doctor. At the minute clinic, the NP Liz Gardner did all of those things, and I was still out in less than an hour.I was feeling a sore throat and left work early. I reserved my spot online before I headed to the minute clinic. Once there, I checked into the kiosk and waited my turn. Although it said I had a 0 minute wait, I still waited about 15 minutes. Keep in mind, this was at 11:30 AM on a Friday morning so I’m sure their wait times can be more outside of work hours. Liz took my insurance information, asked me about my symptoms and decided to do a rapid strep test. The strep test takes about 5 minutes to show results, so she did other checks on me while we waited. The strep test was positive and she prescribed me antibiotics and I was on my way. All in all, I was there for less than an hour.I’m not sure why others are complaining about the cost of the minute clinic. Estimates for their prices are all listed on their website depending on what service you receive so there really should not be any shockers there. In addition, I think others should keep in mind that a minute clinic will generally cost more as it is a “convenience” when your regular doctor is not available. This is supposed to be used as a last resort situation.

2018-12-23Ive been going here for colds/sinus infections for nearly two years. I dont think Ive ever been this disappointed in a PA in a LOOOONG time. So, get this. I have a fever of 99.9. Im coughing up yellow/green mucus, tonsil stones, and sneezing up stuff even worse. My ears are KILLING me. But, my symptoms havent been around long enough for the PA at Minute Clinic to treat me. I guess 2-3 days of being sick doesnt count as actually being sick to these people.Evidently, Minute Clinic has a policy that states you have to have symptoms of a Sinus Infection for 10-14 days in order to treat it. They wont give you anything to help treat the symptoms except for over the counter medicines. So, next week when Im legitimately sick enough to the point of having to call in sick - I get to go back to this idiot and THEN she gets to give me antibiotics. Isnt that great? Also, they shut down web check in. So you have to drive here and sit here for quite awhile in order to get treated.

2016-03-13Generally good service and diagnostics, but not today. Arrived at 4 pm on Sunday (they close at 5:30) only to be told by another patient that they werent accepting any more sign-ins.Cant tell wait times or this info on web, so feeling bad and drive here, walk in all to find out they cant see me. Whats the point of a Minute Clinic if you can be turned away during regular operating hours with no way to know this until you get all the way there?

2016-12-23The nurse was pleasant enough. But she was much more concerned with making me get a flu shot than actually helping me with my sore throat. Im in retail management so not working or resting my voice is not an option the week before Christmas. I need to be able to speak to my guests and associates. Im not pleased that I paid someone to tell me to just rest and let the virus run its course. The only good thing she did was test for strep which thankfully came back negative. Its just frustrating to know there are antibiotics that could have helped me get better sooner and they simply werent offered. And if this flu shot makes me worse Im definitely not going to be happy. Overall: I probably wont be returning to this clinic, its not worth the money.

2017-02-23When I arrived there was no one in line in the sitting area waiting. I watched the computer screen as it moved, moving 2 patients up and when it was my turn, I knocked on the door to notify them that it was my turn (had been 15 minutes and no signs of anyone) so the NP or whoever answered and said she was with a patient. Took SO long. Bunch of laughter and talking. She herself had a disgusting cough. 48 minutes past my time with no one else waiting. Completely ridiculous. Ill never come back here again. Rather drive the nearly 1 hour drive to get to my PCP
