I went in today for a interior clean and vacuum and the outside of the vehicle to be cleaned as well. I specifically asked for my interior to be wiped down and cleaned when I get called to get my vehicle the inside was vacuumed but the dashboard wasnt cleaned and still covered in dust, and then after I realize that all my change went missing and I asked about it because it was a good amount of change and the guy said it probably got vacuumed up and I just said dose the vacuum just miss all the pennies? And yes I tipped prior to getting to my car.
This place is not what it used to be. Mister Carwash on Research was my go to place for a car wash for a long time. However, the packages now do not include the same detailing even though they cost the same and they do not offer a more expensive package that includes what they used to do. When I asked about the seats and console not being cleaned I was told they only clean the dash now. When I asked if the dash had been cleaned they said they didnt get to it because someone was trying to steal cars. I asked if someone tried to steal my car and one employee got angry and told me not your car, other peoples cars! When I asked him to clarify he said what do you want from me man, just go talk to a manager!. The manager was nice and did the best she could under the circumstances, but considering what it took to get there , the animosity amongst the employees, and the concern about the possibility that your car may get stolen from this location, I dont think I will be back.
I love Mister Carwash!! On my last visit this past Sunday, I had to wait extra. As it happens, an employee, Frank in the drying phase, noticed that my car wasnt vacuumed good enough. He requested that it get redone and they vacuumed it again. I had to wait extra but it was fine with me. It was cool that Frank cared enough because he said we pay enough as it is. So I appreciated that and I will continue to go to Mister Carwash.
When will yall start drying cars off again?. I pay a membership every month & this service is to come with it. It makes no sense that I have to get out my car & dry it off. If I wanted to do that I would go to the corner store drive through car wash. . Please dont say Covid because I see people all the time getting their cars detailed.They still do not dry your car off @ the end anymore. This is what made me buy the membership. If the line is long your wash speeds through so the line go faster. Sometimes have to go back through due to car being still dirty.
I just got a 30 dollar “car wash” I seriously feel I could’ve gone to the Exxon drive in car wash for 10 bucks and it could’ve been better. They did a mediocre job of vacuuming too.Customer service is absolutely lacking. It was my first time here and I had no idea where to drive up or who to talk to about getting a car wash. I attempted to ask someone and they smiled and told me they’d be with me soon and never showed back up.It isn’t in the best part of town so I took a gamble at the quality of service I would get.... but yeah definitely never coming back!
Just purchased a Ford Raptor. Proceeded through the car wash after the direction of the attendant. The truck was not really fitting on the track. Rolled down the window and I said are you sure it’s going to fit?The attendant said yes, you’re fine. 1/4 way through it popped off the track. They shut the car wash down and had me drive out and come around for another try. The second time the brand new tires popped and damaged my rim and the steel footing of the machine. The attendant apologized and Walter the general manager took pictures and assured me that they will take care of it. They acknowledged it was their fault. I had the truck towed and footed the bill. After the estimate/invoices of over $3700 of total damages they denied the entire claim saying it’s aftermarket. At minimum aren’t all tires aftermarket? They won’t even cover 1 tire. Nothing in writing or any signs are up claiming such a policy. I strongly recommend another car wash as they are extremely cold, unreasonable, and didn’t even offer (from any higher up) an apology.
Scratched my brand new car badly after going through the car wash. Brought the car back 10 min later to discuss with manager. They were dismissive and did not take responsibility.The scratches are consistent with the sweeping motion of their equipment. No way to deny the cause.Filed a claim but they told me they would reject it.Avoid this place!! Not worth the damage to your car.
If you want to waste your money for a horrible car wash go here. I honestly think they hire people who know nothing about washing a car! I admit Im OCD and would probably do better to wash my car myself, but if Im paying for a service I have certain expectations. This location does not meet even the bare minimum.
The worst car wash ever. I paid $38 to clean my car. After it finished, surprisingly my car still was dirty. The manager came and I asked him to you accept this cleaning? He said NO. Even the manager said nooo. They didn’t pay me back and I had to go somewhere else to clean my car.
I received a $100 gift card for Mister Car Wash after a valet service tapped (extremely minor) my back bumper into the car behind me. On my first visit, Mister Car Wash managed to tear off my driver side mirror.I pointed it out to one of the staff as the car was going through the wash, she asked me, Did we do that or was it the machine?. She then pointed me in the direction of her manager.Talking to the manager, his first question to me was, Did you have any previous damage to the mirror? (I didnt). Still without an actual apology for the inconvenience or damage he explained I would have to bring it to a repair shop down the road a few days from now and they would take a day to repair the mirror and scratches to the door. We will see how that goes...The first apology was from the person who actually was cleaning my car after it came out of the machine and he told me, Weve been having trouble with our machine recently.
Long time customer with platinum exterior membership. I sometimes have the $10 add on service for the interior and each time, they do not vacuum thoroughly. Today was quite an experience. The lines were steady but not long and I added on the interior service. It was pretty fast and now I know why: they neglected to vacuum the cargo area. I drove off and after about 10 minutes driving, I realized they did not add the interior scent I requested even though it was recorded on the receipt at check in. I pulled over and checked the cargo area and it hadn’t been touched. I drove back and the staff told me to wait in the customer area, but I should have just stayed with my car. They vacuumed and said it was ready, but I checked it anyway and sure enough, they failed to vacuum the entire cargo area, again. At this point I was pretty frustrated, especially when I already tipped a good amount and paid an extra fee for this service. I spoke with the initial customer service staff member who had checked me in and she helped the person who re-vacuumed. I was not comped for this inconvenience and was only offered an apology. I wish they’d get their act together!
I’m almost impressed at how badly they cleaned my interior (even though I got the highest package because I wanted my interior cleaned). I just left and went straight to the store to buy a hand vac and cleaning supplies so I can clean the car. Don’t waste your time or money here.
This used to be the best car wash in town, since Covid The quality of service is subpar and the prices have drastically increased. I payed $28 for basic car wash and vacuum and wipe down interior. My windows were still dirty, my rear view mirror wasn’t even touched. I would’ve had them correct these issues, but I had already waited an hour and 15 minutes. So I decided, moving forward to take my business elsewhere!
This place really went south lately. I paid 34 dollars for a wash and a detail that my 5 year old could’ve done better. The windows still had stains and the doors where untouched. I was promised a car scent and didn’t receive it. Next time I’ll just pay $10 at a ducky’s and take my car through the tunnel and call it a day because not was this an Unnecessary waste of money but unnecessary waste of time. Waited 45 minutes just to be disappointed shaking my head never again.
One of the workers took the receipt off the car before driving through the car wash and when we parked for the interior cleaning the worker said she wouldn’t touch the car unless we had a receipt. I got the receipt from the manager and the worker was complaining to him saying we threw the receipt away and that were supposed to leave it in the car. After they “finished” the interior cleaning where I guess windows and center consoles aren’t cleaned we found a interior piece in our cup holder that was broken and nothing was said to us.
So I came here because I’ve been an ultimate member for over 2-3 yrs n this is the first time I’ve been embarrassed and also felt so challenged by a staff at my fav car wash centers of mister car wash cuz I been a member even before it was mister car wash even in other cities, i came to do non self service interior vacuuming n a wipe down nothing major but would appreciate results as a member and extra charge. I was told my car was ready (mins u it was dog hair n I understand it can be difficult not a problem) understable) however, this is ridiculous to leave this much not once but three times even after manager came to see it it was the same excuse of it’s dog hair but dog hair is difficult on seats of cloth not surface but to each they own I guess I should have read reviews first before coming smh!! Wasted money n just terrible quality of a job. So much for their tip !! I would add pictures but it doesn’t let me .
As a former employee, I am more than delighted to finally be able to write a review about this specific location. If I could give no stars I would. Im writing this review because I think the loyal members should know what kind of management this location has. As of a month ago, I quit mister car wash after a good nine months. I quit because the assistant manager Nick had been treating me unfairly since my start date and until my last. First off being I was basically being blackmailed for being understaffed, me and many others who were already present employees couldn’t receive a raise due to our availability yet they were hiring new people at a higher pay with LESS availability. He told me I needed to put in more hours if I wanted a raise, even though the managers knew my availability. When I confronted Nick about this he gave me many reasons as to why I have to earn a $5 raise unlike the new employees who started at that higher raise. I also contacted HR, and I never heard back, I was very disappointed which also caused me to quit because the problem was unresolved. Second, clearly every job in America is short staffed at the moment and sometimes NO managers were out helping, only when HQ were on site. WORKERS ARE OVER WORKED AND PAID SO LITTLE. David, the store manager was no help. Thirdly, when I had a concern about a safety issue with the restroom, I was looking for my store manager David to discuss this with him and instead I ran into nick and he forced me to basically tell him the issue that I already felt uncomfortable with speaking to him about (which I expressed to him) and then he proceeded to assume that my action going to David was about him and thought I was trying to go above him, even though it was about mine and others safety in the restroom. I don’t think I need to explain anymore, this company really gave me hope and I didn’t want it to end this way but the way management is here is Unacceptable and disappointing. It seems like the managers listen to nick most and they aren’t capable of making independent decisions. There was no way I was going to continue working for the pay, it was so demanding.
I would love it if you would bring back employees to dry my car at the end of an exterior only wash, and at every location. I know some of your locations have the new spinning wheel of towels but that only dries the front windshield and not the back and doesnt get the side rearview mirrors.
Took my car there today got their best wash with everything. When they completed my car I walked out to get it and noticed there were still bird droppings all over the car. I asked if they could run it through the car wash again. They attempted instead to spray cleaner on the car and try to rub out each spot which removes the wax that I just paid for and can put fine scratches in the paint. I told them they could have fixed this by running it through again I stopped them and drove away.
I like this location because its conveniently located off the highway. The staff are always very, very nice, as well. My only complaint is how Unlimited Customers are treated at the end. Theres supposed to be 2 people drying off your car. Most of the time one of them is moving a full service customers vehicle outside to be completed. This leaves one person to dry and its never done right. Theyre also supposed to get a new towel for each car but, that rarely happens. So, theyre drying your car with a dirty, wet towel. No wonder its never dried properly. On one visit, the lead or supervisor was aware my car was half dried and wasnt correcting it until I asked him. If this is the service sold then provide it. Dont make it obvious that unlimited customers are treated diffetently.
I am a member but since Covid the quality of service has declined. I can no longer get drying when I go thru unless I pay for interior vacuum and you no longer offer detailing of any kind. Also, the car wash itself is worse. After going thru, there are several spots that are still dirty and since no dryers anymore I always end up with water spots. Very frustrating. I am looking for an alternative
Bought the platinum car wash. Silly me thought that meant an exceptional car wash inside and out. Found out that’s not the case. First I caught them not vacuuming the cargo compartment are of my car. They took care of that issue. The inside was given a cursory once over. When I asked about the lack of quality with the inside I was told that this is the norm. Because I complained they went back twice to make the inside look presentable. While the assistant was cordial and tried to make it right I still was dissatisfied. Sorry to say that I will not avail myself of their business again.
This location is typically my favorite one to go to in Austin. I drive a good distance out of my way because they do the best job at getting my truck clean. This trip was disappointing. Somehow my truck didnt get the platinum wash I paid for. There was no staff inside the building. I had all of my work at a table and knew I was going to still be there for a bit for them to run it back through. I was not comfortable walking out without packing everything up. After a few minutes a man walked through and I got his attention. He went out and talked to the ones working on my truck. They stopped. I waited a bit and nothing was happening so I packed my stuff up and went outside to find someone to help. After 3 more people a finally got a manager and he had me run the truck through again. Ill go back and give then another chance to get a couple more stars at some point...
I’m an unlimited member and for the most part they do a decent job. I took off a star because getting properly dried occasionally requires me to get out. I rarely get the interior cleaned but it seems like a good job except for the windows. But if you ask them to use a clean rag they gladly will.I did give them 4 stars because the membership can be used at any of their locations. I do wish they add a location in south Austin at some point.
Great first experience. My car had sticky pollen on it, so I put them to the test...and they did not disappoint. I got the Wash #2 ($10) and it took it all off--my car looks great. Excellent value for the price. Easy in and out around lunch time. Ill definitely be back.
I feel so sorry for the employees, I waited over an hour for just an interior clean and a exterior clean. What was the delay? They said they were very short staffed and it shows! Was there a manager on site? Absolutely not while the employees were so exhausted and drained. You would think the managers would help out! What a shame on this place!
I am a member so its my go-to place. The machine was does a surprisingly good job but the dryer isnt the best on a pickup truck but its acceptable.I wish theyd bring back the humans they did the drying... Anyway, the line moves quickly and theres always vacuums available. Its right in the middle of town so I never hesitate to swing in for a quick wash; with the membership you can go as many times as ya want. So worth it!
They make it nearly impossible to cancel membership. I filled out the form to cancel on the website nearly a month ago, was still charged for renewal today. On the website it says the best way to cancel is to call the local store. If you call them they say customer service is closed and if you want to cancel you have to go to the website. If you email them asking for cancelation they just dont respond. Not worth $30 a month unless you get your car washed like 7 times a month.
Ive been a basic Unlimited Wash member for many years now and would recommend it as a good buy. My complaints are really just minor annoyances - my window sticker regularly fails to trigger, and even before COVID towel service was sporadic. Theyve cut lanes in half and there is typically a line. BUT it moves quickly, the staff is polite, and it is a steal at $20 a month!!
First time at Mister Car Wash. I was greeted with a big smile and a friendly hello. Outstanding customer service! They took the time to explain everything and how long it would take. Great team! I will definitely be going back on a regular basis. And....as a bonus - they offer free coffee and popcorn. Nice. :-)
When I first purchased my membership, I was not fully satisfied with the service I received. I talked to the manager and right away he said bring it back in. So I did. Absolutely wonderful. Everything from the inside to the outside was well done. My car looks and smells brand new. 10/10 recommend. Shoutout to David and his team.
Easy access next to Charles Maunde Toyota for a great car automated car wash. I usually opt for the intermediate exterior wash only. If Im going to clean out the interior Ill just do it all myself, unless I want it dusted and vacuumed thoroughly. Its only about a 5-10 minute process before Im driving away in a sparkling clean vehicle, assuming theres not a line of cars ahead of me.
I used to love bringing my car here to get it detailed. They would always leave it spotless inside and out. However, the last 2 times I brought it in I have been very disappointed. There was still visible debris on the carpet that they supposedly vacuumed. There were watermarks and dust on the exterior even though they were supposed to towel dry my car. I had to finish cleaning my car myself after leaving this place. Definitely not worth the money I spent there. This happened twice maybe 2.5 weeks apart. Dont think Ill be going back.
The person who took my order to get my truck clean he was very sweet. They did a great job in vacuumming it. They gave it a good cleaning. Of course Im a slob. So they do make miracles on your vehicle. Has great staff. So go by there!! I do recommend it. So I think Im going to make that place for my cleaning of my vehicle.
Swindler organization!! Once you buy membership you wont be able to cancel membership. When we moved to different state in the summer, we cancelled the membership over the phone but they didnt cancel the membership so I had to see the monthly transaction for next few months. When I found that I had to call this location to cancel it again without getting the money back. They still did not cancel membership. in another bill they changed the business name still chargining the membership. In the COVID situation this car wash business has become a swindler.
Great place to get your car washed and love their unlimited car wash memberships. Its set up in a way that even when there is a line, it goes quickly because you dont have to wait for the previous car to be washed completely before you start. Its like a conveyor belt, where you drive through different phases of car wash and you start shortly after the previous car. I also like that your car gets an extra towel wiping (by human hands) at the end.
This piece is missing since the car wash. Ive called and head quarters said that someone from the store was going to check the wash and call me. Never happened Ive called and no one has answered or replied to my message. Not to mention I went twice that last Saturday because they didnt clean it well and still was disappointed. If I was going to still get the same cleaning Ive paid$15 for in the past plus have a part missing there was no need to pay $30. Never again
I have a membership with Mister Car Wash, that includes quite a few services. However since COVID theyve curbed services unnecessarily, yet they continue to charge for them. Seemingly they are more concern with accepting monies and not providing services paid for. Heres why Ive come to this conclusion. With COVID going on, I understand there should be minimal contact between customers and employees, here is where the problem comes in, I pay to have my vehicle dried and tires dressed, which does not bring the customers and employees in direct contact. I talked to a manager about this and was told they are going to make changes, I waited for 45 days before I returned for services and received the exact same service, a ride through the carwash for the price of interior and exterior cleaning. Mister Car Wash should not take advantage of their customers by not having proper staff on site to provide services paying customers should received. Think about it, if they had a person to prewash your vehicle (standing outside your vehicle with a Waterhouse) , why wouldnt they have one to dry your vehicle and dress your tires? Where is that money that we are paying going? Do the right thing Mister Car Wash!
Do not chance getting your car washed here if your car antenna is visible outside of your car (antenna shark fin). Went through the car wash and the large blue scrubbers knocked off my antenna fin cover, breaking the screws off with it. There is no way to purchase only the fin cover, so I have to purchase a whole new antenna with cover. To install, the screws must come up from the inside of the car through the roof. Cost of repair = $450!!!!! Beware!
We came here to get a wash for our older Avalon - it was not a good experience.There were multiple lines at the end for wiping which were incredibly imbalanced in speed and quality. My interior windshield wasnt touched, so it remains super dusty/streaked. All edges and corners in the cabin still have dust and hair, and many surfaces were not wiped for dust. They also didnt return seats or floor mats or items under seat to correct position. Some exterior parts with dried bird waste were not cleaned either.Cleaning quality aside, the waiting area smelled like sewage. Was there even WiFi? It was not clear if available and there wasnt anyone to ask in the waiting room.The whole ordeal took 1.5 hour, and this is for a basic wash/vacuum. It may have taken even longer, since only after I went to sit outside to ask about status of my car did they seem aware that they needed to finish it.
Seriously want to let everyone know that I like this place. If you want a five star car wash this is not the spot. They are fine and do an ok job. The price is reflective of the job you get. I am a member and it is fine for me I take my older car here and it gets cleanish. They are quick and I hope you join and get your car washed.
I took my car in for a scratch. The manager himself washed and buffed my car and made sure the scratch was gone. He didnt have to go above and beyond for me but, he did and I certainly appreciate it. I wish I knew his name. The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. I am going back soon for a detailed wash.
Edit: its May 2021. The days of not know how covid is spread and being over cautious are gone. We now know that its spread through the air - not the water. They have their restrooms open but not their water fountain.Friendly staff and extra hard workers! I was impressed with the level of detail.
If you come on the weekend, you better have nothing else going on. In all my years, Ive never seen a more inefficient, poorly designed system to churn cars through the wash. You could easily lose an hour in here just for an exterior wash.Downgraded to one star after I waited an hour for a half-washed car and had to do the rest of it myself in the severely backed up drying line.
Had my car washed her this past Saturday and had a great experience. I paid for the $34 wash. My car needed a thorough outside cleaning plus good vacuum/wipe down inside. The greeter. was very polite, showed me the options and when I mentioned I really wanted a good wipe down, she wrote on the window be sure to get cup holders. In addition, when I pulled up for the vacuum service the gentleman was friendly and asked me how my day was going.Once the car came out of the wash, a lady spend 20+ minutes wiping it down, shining tires, cleaning windows, etc. When I got in my car it was clean and exactly what I hoped for. Since it was a crowded day I was pleased she spent a fair amount of time cleaning it.I know car wash services can be hit and miss. Plus at times we want to pay the cheapest but want the high service cleaning, I felt I got the $34 + tip value for my cleaning and will be returning there in the future.
Just came from there I have the monthly rate for unlimited car washes I paid the extra fee to get it vacuumed and dusted. The guy that was working on my car decided to walk off and other cars that were there after mine were getting done. I asked if my car was ready was told no I called the manager he helped finish it but was told by and employee that the dont do anything about it. People need to do their job if not they need to quit. So disappointed.
My membership was canceled by a person who works at the front without my knowledge. I honked bc the little man at the tunnel was taking forever and there was a massive line and he didnt care. He then came up to my window and started yelling at me. The guy from the front came and thought he would help and instead deactivated my account. Wrote HR and they said I closed my account. NO this is why I wrote you in the first place. If you want serious unprofessionalism go here. Also if I was a man I bet that 5ft nothing man wouldnt of backed talked me. Hopefully the owner is reading this and you change your staff. Starting at management! Been to other Mister Car Washes and this place is the worst!!!! Just drive here for convenience.
They broke the windshield wiper off the back of my Suburban and gave me the run around about getting it fix and never resolved the problem. My truck got scratched up, but they say its impossible for it to happen going through the wash!! I dont know why Im still a customer, convince I guess!!
Went in to get my 100,000 car detailedI went in today for a simple detail, once finished I noticed my park assist was unavailable and my front bumper was broken! It is ridiculous! I spoke with brynley James he was RUDE! He refused to refund my money for the car detail. He submitted an incident report and would not allow me to take a picture of what was said in the end. I will not return to mister car wash again, knowing that damage was done to my car that wasn’t there before.
So 6 months ago this place was amazing!!! I loved it!!! Currently present day 5 minutes ago. No I will never come back here again! After spending $30 on the wash, and arriving at 1020 Im finally leaving at 1141 with a still dirty truck! Theres dirt everywhere, dust everywhere! The base boards are still funky! Windows look like my toddler wiped them down, the corners are all still dusty. The only good thing was the automated car wash! And even then my running boards are still funky and gross! Now inside. Cup holders have dirt and residue all over them!
Extremely mediocre, not worth the money.Ive given this place a chance 3 times now and Im not coming back after my last wash. On my most recent visit the place was empty and I got the Red carpet wash. ($50) I mentioned to the manager that on previous times the attendants were not thorough while cleaning the inside of my car, he assured me that would not be the case because this was a premium wash.Besides the price, the only difference I noticed was that they drove my car further into the covered area. It took the same amount of time as previous washes and it was a worse job than before.I made the attendant wait while I inspected the car, I pointed over at many dirty spots. After a while, I just decided to just drop it and go home (There were still a lot of visible dirty spots.) Once I got home, I wiped the car and of course, all of the wipes were black from dirt (they use the same dirty rags to clean all of the cars, transferring dirt around.)My recommendation: Go to a regular car wash, spend $10 and do the interior yourself. This place is not worth more than $20 a car wash.
This place is the car wash With the poorest attention and the most bad service in all Austin TX. These people do not care about your car and can never leave you clean completely. If you have a problem caused by your poor attention. You will never find a solution in this place ... I do not recommend this place to anyone who really appreciates their car.
I have been here three times to get my car cleaned and all times have been great! Mack is my go-to guy and I only go when hes there. Great car wash and set up. I never have to wait too long either, even when there are long lines. Kudos to the organization and flow of this service!
I paid $34.99 for the platinum package but wouldve been better off doing it myself. When I got back in my car after it was cleaned I automically noticed bird droppings still on my windshield, dust on my dashboard and dirt on my mats. I honestly dont think they did anything to my car besides run it through the car wash and even that didnt adequately clean the outside of my car. There is still mud on my wheel wells and grime and dead bugs on the car itself. Im very disappointed with this establishment. Ive gotten better results from an $8 HEB car wash. Ive never written a bad review online before, but Im doing this in hopes that someone will read this and save themselves from wasting $40.
I love these guys I was greeted with the most positive energy and was guided as if I never been to a car wash which I loved. They were so patient. I ended up bumping a truck because my dog pushed the shifter to drive on accident and took care of everything and were very nice both parties were happy
They lie to your face. They steal your money by selling you a product and not providing that service. They do mediocre work. They walk away when your car is finished and expect you to get in and drive off.Every time I pay for their most expensive service called Red Carpet which is supposed to include shampooed carpet they walk away from my car claiming its finished when the carpets are completely dry and dirty. This place is a scam. Their employees are rude, lazy and dont take responsibility for their terrible service. They just dont care.Ive had much better service at the Cedar Park location. Ill happily drive 10 miles in the opposite direction for better service. Avoid the place like the plague if you must. Please do not give them your hard earned money. You will be very upset and disappointed. I urge you not to come here!
They do the best job here, inside and out. The front of my car was furry, it had so many bug bodies stuck to it. I had driven through some kind of bug storm a few days earlier. It took a little extra time, but they got them all! My car is no longer textured and spotted.
Mister car wash ran my truck through with the rear window down TWICE. On two separate occasions an employee drove my truck through the wash with the rear driver window rolled down. Once at the Burnett location and once in cedar Park. The staff was was totally indifferent to their mistake. The back seat of my truck was soaked with soap water each time. Id been an unlimited member for over a year. At the cedar Park location I happen to have my dog with me. The employee who drove my truck through with the window down reached down to pet my dog without asking and then the manager reached down to pet my dog without asking. Are you insane? I was reasonably upset about the fact that an employee just casually drove my truck through with the back window without paying attention to it getting soaking wet (Im still not sure how moronic you have to be to do such a thing) but to then completely ignore me and think you are entitled to wipe your hands on my dog is absolute insanity. Terrible business.
Some time ago I removed the interior cleaning service because they are doing it terrible and it turns out that now they do not dry the car when we go through the car washing machine, I get to dry it at home with a lot of dust in the parts that the air does not dry completely
I have had a membership at this location for about 10 months for my BMW. I stop by about twice a week to get my car cleaned and have never had any issues. When I opt for the interior to be done, it is only $10 due to my monthly membership and they always do a great job. I have had my car hand waxed there, as well. The employees are always very friendly and the service is always good.
Too many cars and the wait was longer than normal. They need more workers. One worker said I did not get a carwash, even though I paid for it. I had to correct her. The gentleman told me they were working on it. He was working on my tires. She kept going inside and moving car, prior to me talking to her. Found out you need to watch them. Your car could sit and sit and then could be declared ready when it is not. That is why I walked over and watched them. I figured she would try that. AUGGGGG!
Nice and economic carwash. For the price of a wash at your gas station, you get a proper wash (still mostly machine, but the big old brushed ones) and the results are easily visible. Particularly the tire shine really makes a very big difference. It also pretty quick, probably a minute different from the gas station wash. I have yet to experence their full service though but overall, it seemed great.
Simply the Best Mister Mister Car Wash is one of the top car washes in town and I can take my vehicle there without hesitation or concern and have it cleaned front tubac and not feel like I myself have been dragged through the cleanersmyself. Got there right when the opened, 3 cars ahead of me, did the basic wash. That was over an hour ago and car still is not ready.Signed me up for automatic unlimited washes, even though I never signed paperwork for it didnt ask for it and they have no proof that it was even requested.Error with machine caused a 3 car rear-end pileup issue in the actual car wash. Get your car wash for $25 and new dents for free!
Used to be a pretty acceptable place to get a quick wash. Have always used their unlimited wash deal. Lately they have cut back on the quality of service by making all their workers pool their tips that are then distributed by the manager. This means tips are now part of income and are taxed. Resulting in mass exodus of employees. Now no one hand dries your car any more after you drive it out. Except for when you chose one of the fancier wash packages. Pretty disappointing since I have been with them for quite a few years.
I love this place. Best prices in town for monthly memberships interior and exterior washes. They recently remodeled the inside to give it a loubge/Starbucks feeling and are constantly upgrading exterior equipment. They offer complimentary tea and coffee for you to help yourself while waiting.IPersonnel is awesome and friendlySUGGESTION TO EXTERIOR SUPERVISOR:only suggestion I have is making the Final wipedown stage more efficient by changing the way cars are brought out for final wipedown. If you compile cars to be lined up in SINGLE LANES as they come out VS being Split into different lanes) and have your personnel focus on a single lane at a time, this will ensure you save time and avoid pileups by NOT HAVING TO PULL UP ALL CAR LINES CONSTANTLY each time the first car gets done. It would also avoid your Pile-up problem as your Drivers would pull cars to already cleared lanes.TRY IT! I guarantee it will save you time, costs, and personnel/customer frustrations as it will truly be a First Come First Served process.
I would give this location 0 star if theres an option.The worst experience and worst car wash ever!!! While their employee drove my car in the belt line for a wash, the car behind my car hit my car. When I called to talk to the Manager, he denied the incident. I was there with 3 other customers and we all saw it, yet the manager said the incident never happen.On top of that, the car wash wasnt completed. There were still soap on my car.I will never come back here again.
Paid $35 for the top wash, left disappointed. Floors and seats not adequately vacuumed, dash looked like a rush job, lots of bug spots externally including headlights, water spots in other places, I could go on. Spoke to a manager, he did some additional wipe-downs for show before giving a sarcastic have a nice day as he rushed off. Didnt care that I was dissatisfied. On top of this, I waited no telling how much longer than I needed to because, unlike every other car wash Ive been to, they didnt bother to come inside to let me know it was ready. Will not be back.
Though Id been to Misters in Utah, this was my first Austin visit. It was very different, in good ways. This one offered a full service option - while you wait inside their place, they vac the interior, drive your car to a tunnel where it proceeds through on its own, then drive it to a hand window wash/interior dustoff station; once done they let you know and you drive away.
If you care enough about your car to get a monthly membership WASH IT YOURSELF. The staff was unclear about which package contained what benefits. I paid $40 for a membership and they wouldnt clean my rims. Would do inside and out, but if I wanted to have my wheels looking fly thatll be $49.99/month. NOT WORTH IT. Oh yeah, the staff doesnt give a crap either. Honestly if I had to wash 1000 cars on a Sunday in the blistering heat I wouldnt see the need to take care and do a good job on each and every car either. Bottom Line- Its an automatic car wash, not hand wash (terrible for your paint in the long run and ineffective), and the staff is overworked/incompetent. If you love your car take the time and wash it yourself. If you dont really care about your car and just want it looking, alright Mister Car Wash is for you.
No Reason to go to this place. Some guy at work wanted to take the bosses car there as a surprise, so we tried this place. WAY, WAY OVERPRICED. Almost $100 for a terrible detailing job. They just run the car through an automatic car wash and dont touch it up afterwards. There was still dirt behind the door handles, the bottom of the bumper, around the exterior trim. And this inside detailing was just some armor all splashed in there. Didnt smell clean, or look clean. Still dust and marks and stuff. Clean windows was about it. And you can never find the manager or person who is suppose to be taking the orders. You have to wonder around and talk to someone in a yellow shirt who is cleaning another car and ask them who to talk to. Then you are pointed towards someone in a blue shirt that apparently works there. Totally unorganized. Dont go here. Spend time to wash your own car, or use Arbor Car Wash if you must. They have coupons and are more friendly and cleaner. They do a good job most of the time.
I, own 2 dodge challengers and a unlimited platinum member $100.00 per month for both. I go to mister on research blvd for one reason only and that is to have Jonathan to detail my challengers. Marc Santiago needs to learn how to manage and accommodate a customers request. I will now consider another car wash and spend my 100.00 per month on a dealership that is more considerate .
The car attendants need to pay more attention to the details. The first time I got into my vehicle after supposedly being finished, it looked like the carpets hadnt even been vacuumed as well as cleaner fluid running down the sides of my interior dash board. There were also places to the naked eye that were still dusty and needed to be wiped down. I told the attendant about the vacuuming job; and she got the vacuuming attendant to come and take my car back. After receiving my car 15 minutes later, I drove back to my job immediately with out looking into the backseat due to the lateness of the time only to discover that the places that I pointed out to the attendant in the back seat in particular were not even touched. This was a piss-poor job done; and I will NEVER be returning to this particular location.
Not a fan of this location. They give you no direction on what to do. You just sit in your car while some guy who doesnt speak English stairs at you until assume you need to leave your car. Then you find your way inside where you wait and are never given a receipt for your car or even told when your car is done. Also had my seat adjusted to an almost laying position and my side view mirror was adjusted an extreme amount that I couldnt see at all. Just a very unorganized place that seems more concerned about rushing you through than anything else.
I will never return to this place. Ive never experienced worse customer service anywhere in my life. If youre thinking about going, do yourself a favor and dont. I brought my truck and girlfriends car and purchased the 39.99 final touch. It must have gotten its name due to the fact that once theyre finished, youll need to go through and give it the final touch yourself. Ill have to clean the seats myself now, because there now are black grease smudges on the gray upholstery that werent there before. As for my girlfriends car, they left dirt all over the side floor panels, and they did a horrible job vacuuming amongst everything else. The manager was no help either and seemed not to care if we ever came back or not. Youve been warned...
Love them ,I have the 29.00 a month package unlimited car wash out side inside 8.00 a cleaning ..good job , coffee and popcorn while you wait in comfy inside place :) I always tip too and if thats not anuff there is a pets alive thrift store nextdoor, lots of good finds
Great place to work. Fun and friendly atmosphere in addition to great bosses and awesome co workers keep the morale high which i feel is KEY to a healthy workplace. It truly is like a family atmosphere! Mister Carwash is really good to their employees and DEFINITELY gives back as much as you put in, with all sorts of benefits, resources and even tuition programs, im not sure it can be rivaled in the carwash industry! They have flexible schedules and will work with you if you COMMUNICATE! One word, horrible. I have been to this place multiple times over the last year and I dont know why I go back. Im tired of paying $40 for the highest level car wash and getting a sub-par job. This time they were putting wet rubber mats into my car. I tried to stop them and they were totally offended that I would suggest they should be dry before putting in my car. The response was they dont dry the rubber mats, just a little toweling off. Whats the point of rubber mats then, duh. Additionally, they cant master the basic art of dusting which should be a minimum requirement. Im done with this place. Glad they were able to remodel the inside though to give a little break room for their employees. Now you cant even find a person in authority to talk to because there is no longer a desk!Update: the wetness on my mats never dried because it wasnt water, it was grease or Armor All! Got all over my shoes and I had to throw a wad of napkins from my glove compartment so I could drive! Totally unacceptable, now I have to go pay to have them cleaned again! Im sick that I paid $40 for this job!
I went to get a good wash on my car and so I went and got the final touch. I should have seen the reviews before I went because I got a half job done. After going back a second time to insure that was the best job they could do. I went with a pack of huggies wipes to contest. My wipes did the better job. And without say, Chuck gave me a complimentary platinum wash. I guess Ill head back for a second half job if I need it.WIwipcontestcontestthe situation.
Very ridiculous set up. They have 3 unlimited lanes, no one going through them, the first 2 self serve extremely long and these attendants walking around not helping to vacuum. Very poor set up. I used to come for years, not anymore. Been in this line over 30 minutes. Dont come here!
Not great, not terrible. Won’t return though. Got a Full Service #2 because it includes an underbody wash, but that wasn’t done at all. Missed some key areas on the interior wipe down, and an area or two on the exterior wipe down. Car left cleaner than it went in, but not clean as expected.
BMW Msport owners be aware!! Tire shine roll brushes will scratch your rocker panels and/or side skirt extensions. Even after downgrading my membership to no tire shine the automated carwash still managed to activate the brushes and scratch my rocker panels again.Update, I will also scratch your rims, I have a ford F150 as well with 22s and I can see the tire shine brushes doing damage to the clear coat on the long term.
Anyone that has had a bad experience in the past 6-7 months ago or prior, give the location another chance! The place has really stepped up its game, the service is amazing and the people that work there really care about what they are doing! Love the staff and the company as a whole! Definitely will be back!!
Due to the addition of knew management at this location and the efforts of this man I see moral from employees is greatly uplifted and the quality of a clean car is much better in the last couple of weeks.. I change my review of 1 star to 4 stars and I hope that the improvements continue to shine.
I was watching my car from the inside after waiting 30 minutes and I see that 15 minutes go by and the driver side door is still wide open and no one is tending to the car. I finally go out and ask someone is the car done and they say yes.😡 I was expecting to be called upon by vehicle model just as l saw others is being called while waiting. When I finally get to my car I see that there are noticeable water spots all over the rear and trunk area of the car. This is when some guys comes and ask if all was ok 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
Very bad service, the person who is doing the service, he is a manager, his name is Nick, he said that he has a time limit and that he can not do more than just his job It is that he looks clean, no, that he is clean to be paying for one Membership so that there is a job well done when they sell it to You they say that the cleaning is all well detailed and it is not true.
The guy literally stood there and asked for tip after doing a shity job. Never ask for a tip even if you do a good job, let the people inspect and tip if they desire. Great customer service if you like gangster service. I though i was in a prank tv show but nope. I went home and i realized that it happened in real life. Haha just save yourself the trouble dont go.

2022-07-24Ive been a Mister Car Wash customer for close to three years now, and recently relocated to Austin from Houston. Ive chosen to come to this location twice over the past month. Both times Ive tipped generously because I know this job is rough. The first time, I was extremely satisfied. They took good care of my vehicle inside and out, which prompted me to return today after arriving from a trip to Port Aransas. Unfortunately, today their service was less than stellar. Not only did they not vacuum the inside of my vehicle thoroughly, they barely spent a couple of minutes cleaning the inside. Id argue that they spent more than two minutes cleaning the inside at all, left bugs on my front bumper, sand on both front mats, and between the cup holders. I am hesitant now to return or whether its worth keeping my premium monthly membership at all. So, word to the wise... do not tip ahead of time. Do it after youve inspected your vehicle... thoroughly.

2021-08-21My car came out way worse than it went in. The Matts(which all you have to do is hose off because theyre plastic) were still dirty and I had a giant scratch going the whole length of my car. I have been a member for about 3 months and had some good and bad experiences but today took the cake. Do not take your car here. This is PERMANENT DAMAGE. I will have to repaint my car now. Do not come here!! And if you do make sure you have great insurance. I will say the people were nice so thats a positive, but nicely scratching my whole car is still bad.

2022-07-16I am Mister Car Wash member and I’ve never been more disappointed. Today my car wash took an hour for a piece of my bumper part to be missing and like white paint on my car bumper that wasn’t there before it went through the wash. I called and no one answered. I’m really upset and will not be renewing my membership.

2022-07-24It was OK, it had been a very long time since I washed my jeep, and wasnt expecting a shinning car, but I would think I shouldnt be able to see the dirt left where the windshield dont cover. The step cover could have been a little less dirty in the grooves. The dash and carpet were thoroughly cleaned. Probably fair value for the money but for me I spend my money next time on my own bucket and sponge.

2022-03-26Automatic car wash always folds my towing side mirrors and 25% of the time an employee will help to reset them so I don’t have to stop the line and get out to do it myself. Tire shine only sprays one side of the truck tires. Other than that it’s always fast friendly and effective service.

2022-06-19Got a car wash and asked the person to ensure that bugs on the windshield would not require me to purchase the additional bug remover selection. The person said not to worry about since the vehicle doesn’t have a lot of bugs the regular wash will take care of it. The car wash didn’t take care of the bugs nor took of any dirt. It looked like the car was just rinsed with water and air dried. Poor quality car wash.

2022-04-28Have been coming to Mister Car Wash for quite a while and usually have a decent experience. I usually check my car before and after the wash to make sure everything is ok, but this time, my car came out with a long scratch almost the entire length of the car equally on both sides of the car. I asked how that happened and they said they will do an incident report and call me back. They never called me back. Tried calling the number they provided to resolve, no response. Once I finally emailed the store and got a response, they said it wasnt their fault and there is nothing they can do. Again, I have been going to Mister Car Wash for years in both Houston and Austin and generally was happy with their work, but this was an EXTREMELY terrible experience, and I am saddened that they didnt even try to make this right.

2022-08-12I came to mister car wash after a rock had shattered my drivers side window of my car. The workers were so kind and did everything they could to help me clean out the glass even though they did not have to. They made my day a lot better!!!
