This place is GREAT! My son is 14, & I wanted him to participate in a sport. He didnt want to do track, basketball, or football. He asked if he could do boxing. I was nervous at first, but it turned out really well. The trainer is great. He takes the time to help him. The staff is wonderful. They give you a FREE day trial, to see if this for you. I highly recommend this gym! They have different sports you can join, & the price is affordable. Thank you Mohler MMA (Dallas location).
Ive been coming here since around August, and it is great. Coach Mahler is awesome and explains the techniques in. Way thats easy to understand. Hes funny too. The people that train there are really cool too, everyones nice and the experienced are always ready to help the inexperienced. Theres no pressure to compete but its recommended.plus we tend to do pretty well in competitions. The rates are good, no sign up fee or anything, and you can go to as many lasses as you want which is great and hard to find in any other gym.with the fee you can also train may Thai and boxing. Also great instructors. And its safe, promise you wont die. The gum. Is also undergoing expansion. It was a nice size before, but were all excited for the growth.I highly recommend it. The price drew me in and the classes kept me in.
I just started going to this gym and I love it and I can’t get enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful, since day one Coach Mohler was very responsive with the questions I had through email. If you want to get a good workout in and learn some new moves come by and check it out.
I love this place, I’ve been doing boxing and BJJ for two months now. Everything is super clean, the owner Allen is a fourth degree black belt and my boxing teacher is a golden glove champ. I highly recommended. I come around 3-4 times a week and they are super understanding and always make sure I understand everything. I love being apart of team MohlerP.S. I love Brittany
Awesome place to go workout and meet new people! The teaching is awesome too! Its a shame I couldnt keep going. But I had other priorities elsewhere. Though I would recommend it to anyone else. It be even better though if you bring a friend. As they pair you up with other people on your level. Depending on your chemistry with them though, you might have trouble learning. Thought the teachers work around this by placing you accordingly! I really recommend it.Check there website out. Its extremely straight forward, and they tell you what to expect as well as the pricing. For a gym that teaches you how to fight, its pretty affordable. But make it worth it, and go all the time your classes are scheduled!!!!!
Mohler MMA literally changed my life. Weighing in at 215lbs on my first day, never having trained a martial art, I dropped 55lbs in 6 months. 2 years later, I’m still training every day, competing in Muay Thai smokers, and this gym has become family! Coaches Jose, Chris, & Johnny are phenomenal! Go in and sign up today; Brittany at the front desk is always so helpful!
Outstanding gym! Our 5 year old had been searching for a hobby he enjoys. This is certainly it. He was nervous walking in, but the staff here immediately comforted him. Brittany and Paul are amazing. After going for a few weeks now, he runs to the car to go to his ‘Little Dragons’ class. When the class is over, he comes home raving about everything he had learned. I’m just so grateful.Thank you, Mohler!
I love the environment and the staff are awesome! Im usually picky on where I sign up especially when it comes to my kids. But I have to say from the moment I stepped in I knew that this place was going to be it. Of course the test came when I brought my 4 yr daughter and 5 yr son to their first class. Lets say I couldnt make them stay quiet after the class was over! My kids were excited to show their dad the moves they learned! But best of all I saw their confidence come up after their first class. As for me lets say I was nervous to come in to my first class but all I have to say it wont be my last. The coaches are awesome and they help you out with any move or question you may have. Thank you Guys! Keep up the great work!! :)
Best gym in Texas! Brand new facility with some of the best coaching staff in DFW--whether you are a seasoned Martial Arts practitioner or have never stepped on a mat before, you are always welcome to join the Mohler family. This is the home away from home for so many incredible people! Come in for a free class to see what were all about! You wont regret it. #WarMohler
Joining Mohler MMA was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Professor Mohler is an Amazing instructor and Human. The Mohler MMA staff/instructors mirror professor Mohlers professionalism. Professor Mohler and his Instructors are very attentive to all of the students. The School is incredible... Large areas, you are not on top of other students, if you need to shower there is towel service, lockers and the facility is always clean. Mohler Recovery is adjacent to the school... I highly recommend Float Therapy, Cryotherapy, Ozone Therapy. My Jiu Jitsu Family Rocks!
If youve never taken a martial arts class before, this is probably not the place to start. This is the place to begin after youve been training 6+ months. This is an incredibly well-maintained gym, with instructors who clearly know their stuff. However, in the Muay Thai classes, they are not equipped to handle beginners, specifically adult beginners. I attended the all levels (includes beginners) MT classes for a few months, and unfortunately the instructors were either uninterested or unable (I believe its the latter, its hard to scale a class for all different levels, and I understand that) to teach beginner form, technique, etc. I understand it takes about 6+ months of consistent training to gain experience in any martial arts area, but its difficult to do that if you cant secure training in the first place. As for good things, the instructors are respectful and clearly knowledgable, and the facilities are great. Additionally, this gym is female-friendly, and I really appreciated that. Therefore, Id highly recommend this place if youve had previous training/experience with martial arts.
This place is the best of the best I love it so much like a big family work hard play hard. This is the best gym EVER and the kids class is amazing my son does the kids class and has since he was 4 I will never take him to any other gym Mohler all the way I moved from one location and I would drive over a hour to take my son and if I moved 3 hours then I would drive that best place ever. Mohler for life
I used to run a Muay Thai and mma gym in Santa Monica California for 4 years, and in the business I have realized there are a lot of staff that just don’t understand the importance of feeling welcomed no matter how new or experienced you are. After years of not training and making every excuse in the book I finally found mohler mma and have LOVED, Chris and Jose, they have a great Muay Thai style and always make me want to show up! They are friendly and equal and are super super super talented and experienced fighters. On top of that I love seeing the smiling face of Brittany when I walk in, she’s helpful, always positive and always makes everyone wants to come back for more
Ive been training with Professor (Coach) Mohler and the Mohler MMA team for 2 years now. Professor Mohler surrounds himself with amazing people, both his coaches and team included. When youve been here for a while it really becomes a family. But it doesnt end with the since of community. The training you get here is the best in Dallas, for beginners and experienced alike. I cant stess enough how beginner friendly the team and coaches are. Ive trained at a lot of different gyms in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. I can honestly say, Mohler MMA is the best. The jiu-jitsu program is amazing. Coach Mohler is very detail oriented, and is always encouraging students to ask questions. The MMA program is fortified by some of the best coaches Ive trained with. The fact that UFC fighters seek this school out says as much. If you have any doubts, just come check it out. See for your self. Again, its very beginner friendly.Bonus: they have an amazing spa! Cryo, massage chair, sensory deprivation tank. Amazing!
I love to fight and love martial arts so this place was perfect for me. They give you the option for which techniques you prefer to train on. I attended all of the classes. Bjj, Wrestling, muay thai, and boxing. Great instructors as well as training partners. The only flaw I saw at this gym was the lack of boxing equipment. Speed bag, double end bag, tennis ball training, etc. But thats only because I wanted to box initially before joining. All in all, this place is awsome
I have to say that this place is more of a businessthan an actual MMA gym. I paid for three months of trainingbecause they require 3 month or 6 month commitment which is a bad sign right from the start. When i asked for information i was told i could go month by month but the day i came back to sign up i was surprised i had to commit.I unfortunately had to miss a whole month of training because of minor injury i had to heal up. When i called the owner to see if anything could bedone like use the credit on the next month once i healed. He went on to tell me i had to tell them beforethe whole month started, that i was not going to be able to train. Not only that but that i also needed a doctors note as proof. No disrespect but I am a full time college studenti dont have time or money to go see a doctor when i can barely pay my own school tuition. I wasnt trying to get free training or cheat them or even asking fora refund. I feel i was cheated, they couldveeasily checked and seen my membership card was not scanned once in the whole month. He said next time i had to tell em with plenty of time beforehand, like as if i plannedto get injured. Not only that but they failed to inform me of this kind of policy before i even signed up. There is always a different person in their front desk and most of them dont even know any prices or policies so theyre no help. And when you ask for the owners they are barely around.Beware that they do have a lot of coaches turnover, i had two different wrestling coaches and like three different muay thai coaches within 3 months. Sometimes whenthe actual coaches were absent they would ask one of their students to run the class. Some knew what they were doing othersjust pushed the beginners way too hard and did not know how to actually teach. I was told the ownerwas the head jujitsu coach but not once did i meet him or learn anything from him. I believe he spends most of his time in their other location which is great but why say he was going to be the one teaching when that was not the case. This place does teach boxing, jujitsu, muay thai however their wrestling class is very disappointing. If you are looking to learn actual competitive MMA where you combine the actual different disciplines look elsewhere. There is not one class where they teach you how to use everythingyouve learned and begin to put it together, how actual MMA should be.Overall i feel it was a complete waste of time and money if you do decide to sign up be sure to get all the information you seek from the actual owner and if you dont feel comfortable having to commit there are always other gyms out there.
I cant say enough good things about Mohler Recovery and Cryotherapy. I’m a marathon runner and I dont now what I would do without Mohler Cryo. It’s the equivalent of jumping in an ice bath, but for only 3 minutes. My recovery time is cut in HALF!! I come In after my long Saturday runs and I litterally limp in and WALK OUT!! Plus the rush of endorphins 15-20 after you leave is amazing!! The staff is SO friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and so personable. Doing cryo can be kinda scary if you’ve never been. The staff makes it such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you Mohler Recovery, I couldnt be the athlete I am without YOU!!
Ive been training under Coach Mohler for a several years now. Ive been to other schools in the area and the jiu-jitsu technique here is the best around. Coach Mohler is possibly the friendliest man ever with the sickest jiu-jitsu technique in all of DFW. If youre thinking about trying out BJJ, MMA, boxing, wrestling, or muay thai, look no further than this place right here.See you on the mats!
COUCH MOHLER IS A GREAT TEACHER. NICE, FRIENDLY AND KNOWS EACH AND EVERY STUDENT. I HOPE TO CONTINUE TO LEARN FROM HIM FOR MANY MORE YEARS.THIS SCHOOL HAS A GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE TO LEARN AND GROW WITH. ALL THE INSTRUCTORS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.MOHLER MMA IS THE BEST PLACE I HAVE TRAINED BECAUSE OF COUCH AND ALL OF THE STAFF THAT HELPS KEEP YOU SAFE AND LEARNING.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TRY MOHLER MMA

2022-02-21Team Mohler babyyyy!! I love this gym so much that I feel personally offended by that one star review that someone gave them! Me and my 5 year old son train here and we absolutely love it. Coach Paul and coach Johnny are absolutely awesome!! And when my one year old daughter is old enough, she will definitely be apart of Team Mohler as well!!

2021-05-11I absolutely love this gym! My son has been training at this gym for 7 years now and I wouldnt take him anywhere else. The instructors are amazing at their jobs. My son has learned so much from the professors and instructors here! The classes are always big and the kids definitely have fun while they are learning new techniques. If my son is having some problems with a move they are always there to help. Thank you Mohler MMA for helping my son to learn to protect his self and to fight like a champion in his tournaments!

2020-10-23Mohler MMA is a phenomenal training facility and even thats an understatement. The staff is so friendly from the second you walk in the door. Coaches are so welcoming to all students & very attentive to detail (as a new student I greatly appreciate). They encourage you to ask a million questions while training which I have found is a hard quality to come by with instructors. Not only does this place have the most warm family feel to it but its also beautiful on the inside. Everything is so organized & CLEAN! As soon as you walk in it smells like cleaning solution which I can really appreciate during these times. Bathrooms have personal lockers, huge showers, soap & shampoo is provided, AND towel service. I was blown away by my experience here. So proud to call this place my new gym home!

2020-10-23All of the coaches and students are super friendly and are always willing to help you out whenever you need it, making it a such a great place for not just advanced students but beginners as well. The gym itself is always clean, which is awesome in general but especially now during this pandemic it’s nice to walk into a place knowing everything’s been sanitized & actually feels clean. Overall such a friendly, warm environment!

2021-11-24This place is not about martial arts, its about money. They will bleed you dry if you sign up and give you no way out. Even when i proved i don’t live in Dallas anymore therefore not able to attend they still insist on getting every last penny from me possible. 10th planet is 10x better with a much higher level of competition and the option to put your account on hold at any time for any reason. 10th Planet and the people there truly love and respect martial arts. Cannot say the same about Professor Mohler and the staff at this corporation

2021-05-19I’ve been training at Mohler MMA for about 8 months in Muy Thai, boxing, and BJJ, and it has been a great experience. I’ve learned a tremendous amount, have improved my physical and mental health, and met some really great people. Going to class is often the highlight of my day.All the coaches, and Professor Mohler, are knowledgeable, patient, and encourage both having fun and being disciplined. This is something that you get out what you put in and requires consistency and dedication.

2021-05-07Both of my kids LOVE this place. All of the coaches are so nice & very attention to detail when teaching the kids. Ive seen so much progress in both my 4 & 8 year old over these past few months & they are truly falling in love with this sport so quickly. Could not recommend this place more. If I could give it 10 stars I would

2020-11-16More than a Gym; It’s Family.Finding a decent MMA Gym in Dallas is challenging enough; there is always something missing that leaves me half-cold. I only had three essential criterias when trying different gyms: Are classes effective and are the Instructors knowledgeable? Am I satisfied with the Facility? How does the environment make me feel? I thought my expectations were a little too high after what felt like months of searching for the right gym. Here is the thing: Expectation is relative. When I came across Mohler MMA, I wondered why my expectations were so low to begin with.I was greeted with a modest, amiable energy from the staff the moment I walked in. Since then, friendly vibes continue to emanate from the gym’s veins; everyone greets you by name and treats you as part of one big family. I always look forward to training with them! What most impresses me about Mohler MMA are the Instructors and their ability to get the most out of you. The Owner, Allen Mohler, is an extraordinary professor to learn from. He is incredibly detail oriented in his coaching. There aren’t strange, strict rules you have to follow to learn, unlike other schools in Dallas! The coaching is so straightforward, encouraging and effective; it feels personal. This is probably the biggest reason I felt my technique improve tenfold. Other than his coaching (and ALL coaches are extremely proficient) he is easy to get in contact with and incredibly friendly. I learned that he has been in Jiu Jitsu for almost 30 years, trained in Brazil, and is the first American in his lineage! The famous saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. But the moment you step into this facility, you realize just how important it can be for your training and overall contentment. The training mat is MASSIVE. There is so much room to train; crowded is not a word that exists here. The lobby’s are large and comfortable. They include everything from TV’s to charging stations to leather seats to spa-like bathrooms. My favorite thing about the facility is its cleanliness.Quality radiates from this gym, and I am incredibly happy and fortunate to be a part of the Mohler MMA family.

2021-04-03Ive been coming to Mohlers for a couple of years now. I love the atmosphere and the other students energy. The coaches are knowledgeable and very attentive. I highly recommend checking out the gym. Shawna and Mohler are the owners and are so welcoming. The manager Brittany is always friendly and quick to help.
