Wont fix the AC wont fix plumbing or dishwasher. Now a neighbor moved in and Building now has roaches in the plumbing even in a dishwasher that doesnt work very well. DONT MOVE HERE
I was looking for a 2/2 which would be available mid august..they did not want to rent to me I was offered a 1/1 and when I told them I needed a 2/2 and a 1/1 wouldn’t work they told me I could fit 2-3pople in there woth a 5 year old child never have I ever for a specific thing and was offered something waaaaaay different that’s bad business and management is very unprofessional would not recommend staying here at all
As long as your diligent in getting out those work orders if you see a problem then the above issues concerning rodents and bugs are of no concern have only been here for 1 1/2 months and found no serious issues
Pretty gross living for $900, theres no trash bins so expect to see peoples trash littered across the apartments side walks. Mailbox doors broken and beaten up. Very difficult to get ahold of the leasing office, and for a moment their office number was disconnected. They were recently bought up by another company so the office had no access to the Apartments system and no clue what to do. Apartments are also depressing inside. Pay a little extra and get a nicer apartment than this.
Do NOT live at these apartments I have been here for 4 years and it has only consistently gone down hill. Starting with the building themselves BUGS! These buildings are infested with roaches and bedbugs. I’ve been dealing with roaches since I moved in they sent pest control twice in the 4years I’ve been here and we still have to pay the pest fee. I’ve only recently been noticing bites and bedbugs in my actual apartment. I’ve bombed my room once but they just recently came back.The management is a joke they don’t care about any of your problems I’ve had a leak in my bathroom ceiling for years and it still isn’t fixed. Small problems aren’t even looked at until months later and their communication is nonexistent. They will shut off heat or a/c and water all the time for maintenance without warning.Recently kids have been running around all hours of the night destroying everything and setting fires. The cost for these condition are ridiculous save yourself the headache and misery and look somewhere else!
If I could give 0 stars I would! I definitely would not recommend this apartment complex at all! I was living in Michigan trying to find an apartment complex in Arlington that would let me pay 6+ months rent IN ADVANCE because I did not have current check stubs though I saved enough money to at least be able to pay rent for almost a whole year upfront to get me started in this new state. Well I thought I finally found the right place since my mother and stepfather verbally talked to the only and most helpful person who worked here, Carmen, about my situation and what I was looking for. Carmen is an absolute doll and genuinely understood my situation and was willing to work with me. So I decided to put in my application with an understanding that I would be accepted despite my one and only major issue of not having proof of current income so I paid the $200 fees along with the filling out the application yet this all of a sudden became a burden to the next person up from Carmen, that my parents (who lives in Arlington while Im in Michigan) was coming to the leasing office to make sure everything was going fine since I could never actually reach anyone from the leasing office and continued being told, Ill have someone call you back or we are too busy. Long story short, whoever was above Carmen told my parents they did not accept advanced payments and was not willing to work with me. So I did eventually receive a call from Carmen and she apologized for the inconvenience and even gave me advice on what I could do elsewhere, also that I would receive a refund of my $200 for the misunderstanding but that was back in November and I have yet to see the check refund returned to me. And other than Carmen, my parents said everyone else working in that office were just straight up rude!
Please do not take these homes. they have roaches all over and the management is not taking responsibility to atleast clean it and give. Kitchen shelves are not working , dishwasher is broken. There are no lights, no fans and no windows. its just a infested shelter. i hope the management helps us in having a better stay here after seeing this review

Would not recommend, the price might seem good but not worth it. me and my boyfriend tried leasing an apartment here, we got approved for a studio, a week late we get a call saying it’s not available anymore after we had already been approved and scheduled a move in date for (already paid move in fee and application fee for) so we decided we’d get a one bedroom. took about 3 weeks for them to get back to us about how much the deposit would be. after applying for the one bedroom, the day before we are supposed to move in (not even 24 hours before) we get a call saying it won’t be ready in time. so we agreed it would be best to just not live here. super unorganized. maria is super cool and about her business though.
Worst place I have ever lived at. Its been the same problem every year. They say that they fix everything and yet my bathroom roof kept getting major likes next to the heat lamp and gave us black mold. So when they say they care they really dont.

The worst society ever, i took lease and within day 1 my room got completed flooded with the water leakage.I tried several time to emergency contact number but of no use.The laundry are was stinking so bad and messed up with all the bugs.The apartments are very un-hygienic to live. Don’t ever do a mistake choosing Montecito at arlington. The roaches are troubling so badly and the service sucks.
I have lived here for four years. I do not have the best income. The only reason I stayed for so long was due to suffering from depression, and not being able to save money to move out due to rent increasing every year. I accepted three (3) fourteen (14) month leases to keep my rent down, and still had to crowdfund to move out.In that time, I have had an almost constant battle with roaches, which I stopped requesting service for because the pest control agency they use sprays the weakest stuff, but will still spray it on the floor where it will pool and be tracked around by your pets.I have had to rent a PO Box because my mailbox was broken when I moved in, and even after replacements, many boxes were re-broken, leaving me feeling unsafe allowing my personal mail to be received here.A neighbors door was kicked in, Ive read reports from neighbors of cars broken into or stolen. The gates never work.In the 2021 Texas freeze we were without power or running water for a week, then no hot water for two months afterward. Well, maybe not two whole months, but as I write this in May 2021, we still have neighbors reporting low pressure or no hot water.Management, in spite of myself being one of the most vocal detractors of the complex on our tenant message board, still called me to ask if I had changed my mind on signing a new lease.Vidalta hates you, they only want your money, and they do not train their office staff in basic customer service that many of us learn from Retail.Do Not Rent from Vidalta.Edit: It is a blatant lie they tell in the response. Let me go with the start. Nice apartment for the price that’s about as good as it gets. I got a friend to join the apartments I did as well two months after I signed up because the lady that helped me was nice so I wanted to bring her business I had 5 friends looking to get an apartment. My friend joined and I was supposed to get a discount on my monthly rent which would of helped during the Covid time they told me they could not honor it and it wouldn’t matter until the third month anyways. What kind of customer service is that. They took away all the guest parking so if you happen to have a rental car like myself right now good luck your car will get towed. The office never answers the phones. I just started working and was going to be two days late for my rent and they couldn’t find any slack still was going to charge me a late fee, like congrats y’all have jobs but can’t help the community you work for? If you live in the phase where they control the ac good luck it’s hotter then satans lair in these apts it’s 80 freaking degrees in my apt. The community talks to them on the news letters but they never respond. When my lease is done I’m gone I can find an apartment cost a little more but with better service and a piece of mind. I didn’t even see my apartment until the day it was ready to move in they only showed me the website layout.
Worst customer service ever. They never pick up call when calling about leasing. Went to office but they dont give out clear information about pricing and amenities. Told me they will email me the leasing and amenities information but they never did. Glad I didnt sign the lease.
Not the best place to live.Since we moved here there has been roach problem, neighbors being Loud either fighting at 3 am or playing loud music at all times of the night, the management taking away the large trash bin and using valet trash instead.I have ever lived in a place where you had to worry if your car is going to be towed because you parked in the wrong place. It cost $300 to get your car out by the way.You cant use the workout place or the pool which I was really look forward to when I first moved. I should of done my homework before I decide to move here. I really regret it.
I had a problem with my apartment and contacted the office, they immediately went to check it out. Kimberly from the office, was one of the first to arrive and she was really quick, pleasant and helpful in solving my problem. I am also thankful with the rapid response from corporate in approving what was needed to solve my problem overnight. My family and I are happy living here and with the staff.
Good Afternoon Everyone!I have been leaving here for 3 years. The price is not bad for the apartment complex. Their is no crime, and it is very peaceful. Leasing Agents are kind professional ladies. The head manager is one I have grown fond of. Her name is Pamela Perez. She is caring, and professional. Trust me she is pretty, but that is not the reason I am writing this review. Based on observations, she really cares for the tenants , and her staff. The apartment complex will work with you as for as leasing history. COME CHECK MONTECTICO CLUB OUT!!!
DONT MOVE HERE..... I am a current resident and if I could I would rate this apartment with zero stars. We moved here in March of 2017. The prices are good and the apartments itself are nice. We used the dishwasher and since then we have had BAD ROACH problems. They claim to have came and sprayed but the roaches are still bad. They have traveled to our bedrooms. I woke up with one on my dresser. When you talk to the manager Pam she acts like its not a big issue. I call they wont answer i email she wont email me back. Unfortunately Im stuck here until next March because no other apartment will take us if we break this lease. I just want to move out and start over.
Can I rate it a 0. Horrible management takes away the dumpsters and fines us for trash outside our doors while not making a simple way to schedule trash pickup. Towing out cars without notice to paint the parking lot. No ac while the temperature inside is easily 85 degrees if not hotter. Bugs crawling around and feral cats. Water turned off for days at a time.
So happy I made the choice to move here! Love the office staff!
Please do yourself a favor don’t move here Dirty, Never fix anything Heater never works, AC never works, infested, Management 👎 Was told by secretary no parking sticker was required and just purchase my car get up one morning and car was towed. Management refuse to reimburse me. When her secretary instructed me that no parking sticker would be issue.$300 to get my car back. Lost out $300 I encourage you to not rent here you will 100% REGRET IT...
This place is disgusting apartment has been leaking for months and they do nothing about it mu furniture is ruined and there is mold everywhere carpet is always wet the only solution they could give me was move me to another apartment and raise my rent horrible place
Was told I can pay my whole lease up front and get approved without pay check stubs put my application in paid 200 application fee and then denied me and say I need check stubs very crooked place glad i dodge a bullet management is very rude and scamming people out there money
The apartments are in a really good location, near my job, perfect for shopping and entertainment. I was worried about it being so close to a university, but the property is so quite and always well maintained you cant even tell. Staying there on my own I felt comfortable getting back after dark because it is so secure and there plenty of light. I thought the apartment office was beautiful and so modern and the apartment itself was lovely and also very clean when I moved in. When I first arrived leasing lady was very friendly and helpful. I can recall on issue I had with my dishwasher, I went to the office and met the manager Candice who took complete ownership of the issue and had it resolved within a couple of hours. Great service, great location, and great apartments!
Worst apartments that we have ever lived in!! Mold, cigarette smoke from neighbor above, no amenities!! Horrible place to live!!! Office staff incredibly rude and just an overall dump to live in!! They have signs everywhere about smoking only in designated areas however they do not enforce their rules!! Our rent was going up every month and they charge for services that they do not provide!! These apartments should be demolished. They also have rotting wood in the bathroom and their incompetent maintenance employees do not know how to do their jobs. They also do not speak English!!
DO NOT RENT HERE! This place is beyond horrible! Ive only been here for three months and Ive had to deal with ROACHES EVERY SINGLE DAY. I tried plugging up various holes and cracks but they still manage to get in. Im assuming theyre traveling through the vents. Besides the refrigerator, I dont use the kitchen at all as I wouldnt trust any food thats been on the counters or cabinets. I told the office about it and they had someone spray but that literally did nothing! Besides the roaches, all of the appliances and cabinets are extremely old. The mirror in my bathroom has permanent water damage and they refused to replace it. The ceiling in the bathroom leaks water from time to time. They have two laundry places. One is closed since it doesnt work and the other is extremely nasty looking. Needless to say, I wash clothes elsewhere. I cant wait for my lease to end so I can leave this awful place.
We moved here in June and we have had a great experience. We didnt have any issues or problems moving in. There are three laundry facilities on-site. The washers and dryers both accept payment via credit/debit card, so that is very helpful! For being older apartments, we have been VERY pleasantly surprised that we hear very little of our neighbors noise. Occasional bumping, but we have yet to hear voices or music, etc. The apartments are very centrally located in Arlington and are just down the street from UTA, where most of the college kids are able to walk or ride bikes. We have called maintenance twice, once for a stopped up toilet and once for a leaky roof and within a day, both were resolved! The office staff is super friendly and helpful. The manager, Esmeralda, is always here and we see her all the time, walking the property and doing what she can if there are issues. What we find really cool about this property is that they have a Care team that throws free parties and gives out gift cards and food for the residents. Weve lived in many apartments and have never seen this program. There are also two pools, an indoor AND outdoor workout area, and an indoor and outdoor clubhouse. If youre looking for a safe, affordable, central apartment, this has been a great experience!!
If I could rate these apartments a 0 I would but one star is required! My kitchen has been flooding for months, my dishwasher has mold, the air goes out a lot especially during the summer! The staff is rude and mean and act as if you are bothering them! My toilet flooded and the emergency staff told me they would not come fix it because I had another toilet, so my children’s floor was damaged and I had to pay out of pocket to get it cleaned! The bugs and spiders are really bad and they know about it, I have asked several times to put me on the list to have the unit sprayed and they always forget! I even heard a staff member say she was glad she worked here but not lived here! Wow! What does that say? I politely asked to be moved to another unit and was willing to pay all fees associated, but the manager Pam advised I could not, so I asked to transfer to a bigger apartment and was advised I couldn’t do that either w/o a 30 day notice and if they leased the apartment that I was applying to I would be put out of my current apartment and required to still pay rent! This is the worst place to live, not just in Arlington, but in Texas! My children had gotten sick due to the mold! I have videos, Doctors notes, and pictures! I am trapped and it’s horrible! Moving here was the worst mistake I ever made in life! I warn you if you value your health, sanity, and safety. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! They also have raccoons, stray cats, and parking is horrible
Live here at your own risk. If you love yourself or your children avoid this place at all costs. It’s awful, the management is even worse, they have roaches everywhere. Their dishwashers do not work, their bathroom water does not heat up. They also have no cabinets they have holes in them. They charge over execessive fees to make up for the lack of tenants. My mum lived here and it was a nightmare. Thank God she took a 6 month lease. It’s not worth it avoid this pace.They have only one lock on the door. You can’t lock the door from the inside. It is unsafe, you hear gunshots at night, their balconies have cracks I took pictures and everything. Their bathroom tubs are incredibly dirty. And no one is ever coming to fix any of your problems forget about that. They also have no grace period for rent. You have to pay it on the 1st. If you miss it’s up to them to decide whether to charge you or not. They are simply thieves. The worst thieves ever.
I really wish there were reviews like this when I moved into this place eight months ago. Living here has been the WORST experience of my life. I had a better time living in a dorm than living here. When I first moved things seemed great, they were under some kind of transformation and I was very optimistic. A couple of weeks after though the roaches decided to make themselves comfortable and there is no way of getting rid of them. Even the money they charge for pest control and pest control has only shown up twice and hasnt shown up since October. They lie to your face to get you to sign a lease here and dont care about you as long as you pay your rent on time. I was told that I couldnt move out of my apartment on the day my lease ended because I only provided a 30 day notice to leave not a 60 day. What apartment in the world requires a 60 day notice to leave? And once I was told that, the same lady who told me that was at my door the day my lease ended asking me if I was planning on leaving that day! They swear up and down that nobody who doesnt have a password or a clicker to the gate doesnt get into the apartment complex, but Ive seen it with my own eyes people being able to get through the enter and exit gate. My car, along with others were broken into and my wallet was stolen and my car wouldnt turn on and the lady in the leasing office didnt seem like she cared one bit, and didnt even want to stick around because she knew my parents were on their way and were very pissed! My apartment constantly smells like a casino because they allow people to smoke in their apartments and all my belongings smell like I smoke too because of this nasty living conditions. To make matters worse, it is April the heater is still on, and mine is broken so it was blowing hot smelly air into my apartment for about 2 days straight until finally somebody came and fixed it. Now today, my hot water hasnt been on for who knows how long but yet somebody has to continuously cut the grass in front of my door even though it doesnt grow and is infested with dog poop. DONT move here it will be the biggest waste of time and money, youre better off living in a dorm with freshman that living here.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE. I wish I wouldve read the reviews before moving in. I shouldve known not to move here when the girls in the leasing office lost my husbands paystubs. But we moved here because I was pregnant and I was going on maternity so these were the cheapest we found at the moment. The first week we move in, it is burning hot because its mid April and there was no AC. What kind of place has ONLY heater or ONLY AC. Then I have my baby and 2 weeks later we have fleas. I had fleas at my moms house and we flew bombed the place once and the fleas were gone. We bombed this small apt 3 times and then they finally came to spray and we still had fleas!!! I threatened to go to the city and then they came to spray again. We finally got rid of them. After that, we always have maintenance problems. Like right now the outlets in the dining room dont work. I emailed them and they said they will work on it. I put in a work order and over a week, and NOTHING. The other day I come home and it feels like a sauna because the heater wont turn off. The leasing office RARELY ever answers and when they do, sometimes they have an attitude. Unfortunately I signed a 14 month lease. I wanted to move out the first month I moved in but Im stuck here until June.
Roaches, when September hits you can ONLY have heat, even if the AC is on 40. The service is TERRIBLE. I know Im going to get a response saying we are disappointed with your review, when frankly, I am too. When you look at my previous reviews, Im not the type to leave bad reviews. But let me tell you. There is some kind of leak that goes through the pipes, that goes through the front of the dishwasher, through the bar, and into the living room +bedroom. We called the service from the management to come get it fixed. First off, it took 2 WEEKS to get three guys to come over here and fix it. When they did, they hammered a 4-foot hole behind our fridge connected to one outside(the fridge had to be replaced twice, may I add from the quality it is.), took up 4 floorboards, and took down two shelves that were stocked with food. After this, about a week later we were woken up to a loud crash, which was our dogs on automatic instinct killed a OPOSSUM that came from outside, the GUYS DIDNT SEAL THE HOLE. So, we called the management to get PEST CONTROL to get this dead OPOSSUM that came from outside. This girl at the management said it is NOT THEIR PROBLEM, NOR THEIR FAULT. Eventually after about an hour of talking and explaining, they came and got the opossum aswell as sealed the holes (when in reality they got a thick plastic wrap with some flimsy scotch tape youd use on painting). Dont live here. Its a quicksand called a lease.
Really regret moving here. 2nd day after moving in discovered theres a SERIOUS roach problem... office staff are extremely lazy and unhelpful. Ive never been able to take a shower with hot or even semi warm water. Dog park is filled with so much dog poop Im scared to go in there. Police are here all the time (even police standoffs complete with helicopters). Was led to believe there was washer/dryer connections only to discover there are none. Walls are so thin that when neighboring apartments are painted youre stuck with unbearable paint fumes for days. Creepy men hang around in complex at all hours day or night. I literally have to stare them down everytime I venture out to let them know Im not in the mood for whatever they seem to be looking for. Apartment was disgustingly gross when I moved in. Rent is never what they said it would be and surprise charges are always added. You cant drop off money orders or pay online without be charged a huge fee.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! STAFF IS HORRIBLE!!! NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE!!! THEY CONTROL THE AC AND HEAT!!! I needed to move to Arlington a few years ago to go to college. I had a hard time finding an apartment because at the time I had no renters’ history, no credit, and not a lot of money, this apartment complex agreed to let me lease a small studio apartment as long as I had a co-signer and paid a $350 non-refundable first time renters’ fee. Moving into this apartment complex was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. There were roaches everywhere all the time, and I mean big roaches too, which is funny too because they charge me extra every month for a pest control fee. I kept my apartment clean, I bought my own roach traps, I did everything I could to keep them away and nothing work. At this apartment complex, they only charge you a set amount every month for electricity but the catch is to save money they have a giant shared AC and heating system and you are only allowed to use the AC for half the year and the heater for the other half of the year. I could not use the AC until late April and I could not use the heater until November, there were times when it was hot outside and I couldn’t turn on the AC but I could use the heater and vice versa. The AC and heated system was out of order quite often as well. Everything was always broken and most of the amenities that I paid for were never in service. Anytime I asked when something will be fixed or when something will be available I always got a pre-programed excuse that they had ready to give me, it was always something like “Oh we’re waiting on the city to come and do an inspection on that”, that was always the excuses on why the pool was not open. THE STAFF WAS HORRIBLE!!! I cannot emphasize this enough. They are a bunch of lying sociopathic snakes. Anytime I had to deal with them it always an excuse, always a reason why they can not do something. At first they would just tell me what I wanted to hear just to get me to shut up and leave them alone only for them to never get anything done or never follow up on anything at all. The only thing that they made somewhat easy was signing my contact. They spent most of their time a resources making the font office look nice to give the illusion that this is a nice place to live. They did a lot of remodeling on the office throughout the time that I lived here. Also I didn’t always feel safe here, there were several times when I was woken up to the sound of gun shots in the middle of the night, and they were close too, sometimes right outside of my apartment building. There were always cops patrolling inside the gates of the complex, but that still did not prevent cars from getting broken into and gun shots going off in the middle of the night. There were a few times were I saw police there for longer periods of time doing investigations with a crime scene investigation van, what they were doing there is none of my business but it did not make me feel like this was a safe area. I could say more about this place but the bottom line is you do not want to live here, living here added so much extra stress to my life on top of working my way through school.
Thank you guys for letting me know about your experience. We usually look at reviews before we decide to speak with them about a apartment. My wife and I were thinking of moving there since its close to her job. If the staff has a bad attitude and doesnt take care of pests problems, rude management and noisy neighbors by evicting them, then that is not for us. Im looking for a place where its quiet and for staff being professional and willing to take care of problems, like noise, bass playing radios in cars and apartment. We cant stand that, thank you for your reviews. Well look elsewhere.
Absolutely terrible. Water bill is EXTREMELY HIGH (especially on phase 2 since you share and split the bill). Im paying around $80 a month. I only live with one other person and we make sure to use as little water as possible. Management is terrible. Water in my apt never got hot. The only way to fix it was to buy a new boiler, which the complex never did. People in the office seem to never know what they are doing. Outside of phase 2 was always dirty and yet you are charged monthly for outside upkeep. Kitchen is poorly situated. They tried to cover all imperfections with a paint job. That didnt work out too well. The started taping your bill outside of your door and only give a about 2 days to pay for it.Pay extra for quality service. It will save money and heartache in the long run.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Just when we thought new management was better( some really are). A staff there called the cops on us because we didn’t know they had closed and the door was opened, so we were in there waiting for someone to answer us. She yelled at my mom, called cops and drove off without even talking to the cop about what happened. A girl young enough to be my moms daughter yelled at her. I will find out her name and report this wherever I am supposed to. All for this raggedy, smelly laundry room apartment infested with roaches.
You know its something when they cant even make it to 2 stars for over all reviews! If I were you, Id definitely listen to the reviews and statements from people who have lived here and are currently living here. It is no joke! The office staff are HORRIBLE. They dont work with you on any circumstance. Ilene is the worst. They dont do their jobs correctly and then blame you for THEIR mistakes. The only way you can get the staff to do their jobs is by literally staying on their backs about them. Theres holes in the apartments, bugs (roaches) everywhere, the worst infestation you could imagine. They try to fix everything with a paint job. Pools that they advertise are NEVER open. Been here for a year and the whole time, not once did they open the pools not even for a day. Im not here to bash this business. I do believe in quality assurance though. Not false advertisement. Nor paying a bunch of money for something this bad. When my lease is up, Im gladly moving away and NEVER looking back.
Not the best apartments I have seen. Alot of the doors and cabinets are crooked. The new renovations were mostly cheap cosmetic paint jobs and surface work. Also when my friends and I viewed the bathroom, they were strong signs of black mold. Spacious but odd layout. Super cheap though. Also theyre installing another traffic signal at the only entrance to the complex. So now people have to wait for a green light just to enter or leave their apartment.
The staff act as if they are bothered by your requests. When living there I spent days trying to call the office because I worked the same hours they operated, only to get sent to VM over and over. . I finally gave up and took off work early to stop in and they decided to just randomly close early that day, without notifying anyone or having a valid reason (this happened multiple times). Good luck taking a hot shower, because the water is always luke warm. The walls are extremely thin so you literally hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. I lived below a couple that had a child that literally ran from one end of the apartment to the other till 3-4 am EVERY NIGHT. I told the office repeatedly and they were just kind of like deal with it. I ended up breaking my lease the noise was so bad, I was going mad. This was hands down the worst complex I have ever lived in. Horrible apartment manager, horrible staff, horrible construction, disgusting property grounds. Do not move here. Whoever wrote the ONLY good review on here must be part of the staff.
Please. Please. Please. Listen to the reviews. I wish I would have seen them before signing a lease with the worst apartments I could ever imagine. They change things on the lease, AC is non-existent, utility bill for a 890 sqft 2 bedroom apartment has gradually increased each month to 178$ in march... MARCH. The thermostat literally hasnt been touched for a month, but the utility bill keeps gradually going up and up and up. And dont even think about asking them to explain their policies to you. Youll get treated absolutely worthless. We were promised a freshly remodeled apartment, a new fitness center, free laundry facilities, pool, etc... etc.. yet NOTHING they promised when I signed my lease is true, in fact, the lady that signed my lease doesnt even work here anymore, along with the brand new manager 8 months ago. The apartments are filthy. Roaches have taken over (long before I arrived). Laundry costs are higher than the laundromat down the street. The list goes on and on. DO NOT LISTEN TO A WORD THAT THE OFFICE EMPLOYEES SAY. It is all lies. They will tell you anything they need to in order for you to sign the lease, or after youve signed theyll tell you anything it takes to get you out of the office. Every nightmare that you could imagine for an apartment is here at Central Park. Please do yourself a favor and do not get stuck in a lease with them.
Update: I moved out and was completely finished with any and all fees, according to them. I get a letter in mail saying my account is in collections for utility bills. Wyd.Not that nice. Rent is about average priced. Inside of apartments is old. If you plan to live in here expect bugs and roaches, cars roaring down the parking lot at all hours of day & night, and in phase one you couldnt control the A.C. or heat. Not worth it. And management is poor at best.
For the love of God, DO NOT LIVE HERE! Yes the rate is cheap, want to know why?? You get what you pay for here and honestly you would be better off pitching a tent in an open field. We moved in March and are moving out at the end of this month (April). They showed us a model which is very nice, clean and updated which must be where they get you. Clearly like other reviewers have stated, they are simply painting over the trash and filth that is the backbone of this place without fixing the real problems lurking underneath. Within 2 weeks of moving in, we heard screeching and odd sounds coming from within our walls and what do I come home to in my kitchen one night, MICE! In my kitchen, where I eat. After informing the office staff, Friday and again on Monday, we were told that maintenance comes on Thursday... so we had to wait for them to lay traps which anyone could have done sooner. After a dead mouse sat on my floor for another week it was finally retrieved. Since then we have had cockroaches constantly in our kitchen and bathroom (we cant even use our dishwasher because they clearly live there). Im not talking about baby ones you can simply step on, Im talking ones so big they could be drafted in the NFL!! Yes they came to spray but we have seen no improvement.. In recent developments, we now have a swarm of flies congregating in our kitchen probably because there are still dead mice in our walls.. who knows. We have spent so much money eating out as our kitchen has been a war zone for all the creatures and demons living in it!! We are leaving and couldnt be happier. The office staff is very nice and friendly but have ZERO sense of urgency in getting problems resolved. I have lived in multiple places over the years and have NEVER had the problems that I have in the one month I have lived here. I could go on and on about the horrendous conditions of this place but Ill only frustrate myself as to how I got duped into trusting these people. Please read other reviews and seriously just pay more for QUALITY and people who will take care of you.
I have lived here almost one year and cant wait for the lease to expire. I wanted out of the lease the first day I moved in. They said the apartment had been painted and the carpet cleaned but it wasnt true. The carpet is musty and the apartment always smells unclean no matter how much I clean. I was shown a model that had hardwood floors, that was one of the features that attracted me here but I didnt get the floors. My air is not working so my apartment is registering 90 degrees inside. I placed a service request that has not been handled. Anyway Im looking for somewhere else to live.
Believe ALL the reviews. Gates never work. Police are there every night. Roaches on roaches on roaches. Have fun getting rid of them when they wont send out Pest Control. Moved out and havent seen a roach in over a month. Worst apartment experience Ive had in my 3 years in Texas. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

These apartments are the worst apartments Ive ever stayed at. They got cockroaches and the maintenance dont fix anything correctly. The staff is completely rude they dont help at all they always have attitude like your bothering them. The gate to the apartment is always broken. My mail box got broken into and havent been fixed since I been here for a year. They constantly messing up the rent and on your bill there will be extra charges that you dont even know where they came from. DO NOT EVER MOVE HERE.
Absolutely horrible service. I lost my home and job due to covid-19 and I came to visit my MOTHER and was towed within minutes as we were attempting to register my car. This complex has a contract with a towing company that is in a different city. The lack of morals on these despicable people is shocking really. I had to dip into my college savings to get my car out. And just MY luck that both the complex and the towing company have the same incompetence and lack of customer service. This place lacks tact and preys on the financially disadvantaged.Not to mention it’s EASTER Sunday.
Moved in on November 1st 2013. Just left without finishing my lease. They say they give you notices but they dont. Their best excuse for us not getting a note was the wind must have taken it. Really? Thats the best excuse youre telling me? They never left a note of any kind. We paid the rent and they said we didnt so we ended up having around $300 worth of late fees. almost $1000 they wanted us to pay in 1 1/2 days. The lady in charge, Viviana (if thats what you want to say she is) is always rude about everything. We called her and said because we didnt pay our rent we should have been gone already. She is so disrespectful. They are so rude about everything. Theres dog waste everywhere, the pool is never clean which just finally opened, in June. Its so loud all the time. I regret living there. My girlfriend and I were excited about moving there because it seemed nice and quiet but we got the exact opposite. We are really upset about moving there. I would not recommend it at all!!
This place sucks. It was a mistake moving here.There are roaches everywhere. The office team never answers the phone and then seems annoyed if you go in there requesting something. It takes maintenance weeks to fix an issue and they dont respond when you call the emergency line. The trash dumpsters are always overflowing. Ive seen many racoons around the dumpsters and walking around the property. The apartments are old and you can smell it. I cant wait to move!
My husband and I moved here when I started the nursing program at UTA; almost a year ago now. It hasn’t been all bad but I am just thinking of it as temporary and making the best of it. This place is slowly progressing since I’ve been here, but there is still work to be done.Our ac has gone out twice now but Hector has been very helpful with fixing it both times and he is very friendly. My only complaint is the time it took to fix it. Especially in this summer heat. Turn around was two days when the initial order was put in. Idk if it was due to communication problems with the office but when he came out to fix it, he was very pleasant.
This place is totally crap. I feel like we might have gotten one of the better units but they pretty much painted over any wall damage. Weve had water problems for the past 3 months and anytime we complain they try to make it seem like its our fault. Once one of the managers said it is heating up just leave it on for 20 minutes and it will warm up. They tend to lie a lot in order for you to stop bothering them. Most of our maintenance orders are classified done even though nothing got done. We didnt have a roach problem until recently now everywhere we look there are roaches. Earlier this year we had a flea problem which they blamed on my indoor only flea treated cat. We are moving out this week and we couldnt be happier.
Ive been here for a few months and never in my like have I encountered a hissing roach in person. Also they have a habit of making changes and not telling anyone because I came to pay rent with a money order like they asked the day I moved in and they tell me they dont take money orders anymore and theres nothing they can do. So I was about to of lost 700 and still have to pay rent then a different women said theyll take it this one time then started getting on to me like I never pay them and saying you have to pay like everyone else and she getting tired of saying it. Also Ive still had yet to get hot water in my apartment. So basically my opinion the apartments themselves are to tbe worse but they just need staff that actually wants to work instead of sitting on there tails acting like they have rhe hardest job in the world
The new staff as done an AMAZING job rebuilding the relationships with the tenants. All the ladies in the office are friendly, helpful, and truly seem to care about the tenants and the property. The location of the property is great as you are in close distance to I-20, I-30, and 360.
I have been living at montecito club for the past 13 months. I have not had any problems since I have moved in with the neighbors or management. Apartments are definitely worth the price and spacious for the sq footage. Very pleased with the service from the new manager Pam , she is wonderful with the best customer service!
These are some biggest crook I have seen in my life. The management on site is good for nothing. Shut down the office whenever they want for a break. If you call, no one ever picks up. Was living here since August 2015 , submitted all my documents but they failed to save my documents. Suddenly in January my car gets towed and when I ask in there, I am told i am not on the lease. When i went to the office to get the parking permit, they say to resubmit all the documents and there will be a screening again to put on you the lease which ends in less than 30 days anyways. On the top of it, they want me to pay 50 bucks for the parking spot.Also, they charge one of the highest sewage charges around 60 bucks each month God knows for what. Some of the fixtures were broken and not functional. Had to remind them for more than 3 weeks to get it fixed .Beware of this place people .

The worst communication and coordination Ive ever seen in any leasing office. They deliberately omit details from the moving expenses, the only unit they ever have to show is the display model which of course is decorated and furnished to look like a penthouse while the actual units look more like projects, the laundromat facilities look like they were imported out of a third world country, you have to harass them with like four calls in a row for them to even answer the phone or call you back, the leasing staff seems to have zero interest in helping out and act annoyed toward the issues and complications their inefficiency creates. The only reason Im not giving one start is because in spite of the units looking like low income housing theyre still nicer than the administration which appears to believe that theyre entitled to your money just for telling you if you qualify for a unit. So glad I at least picked a six month lease.P.S.Totally loving how blatantly fake and orchestrated all the 5 * reviews are. I wonder if its the same administration staff that clearly just wants to keep robbing people of their money or if they at least had the dignity to give some tenants a discount for fluffed reviews. How about you guys actually use our rent money for what you say youre going to use it for rather than lining your pockets like greedy self entitled politicians.
To keep it short it’s always hot! They will do nothing, even if you have an infant in the house! Roaches everywhere no matter how well you keep the apartment clean. Many other major problems do not lease!
Dont live here. HORRIBLE. Roachs both the workers and the insects. If I could zero stars. Unprofessional and will tow you for literally ANYTHING. save your self the trouble and heartache. They are money hungry and will charge for anything. DONT DO IT.
MOST DISGUSTING APARTMENT EVER. 0 stars. I have lived here for two years. It is the worst place to live EVER. The staff is TERRIBLE. They dont care about anybody but themselves. We had been putting in work orders every week for probably 6 to 8 months and NEVER did anyone do anything!!! The first day we moved in we noticed our roof was caving in one of the rooms so they came and just made a HOLE in the ceiling!! And never came back to fix it EVER. Also, when we moved in they had NOT cleaned the apartment or changed the carpets because it was flea and roach infested!!! We put pest control Maintence in ever Thursday and nobody ever came!!! They would just say they came but never ever did. Every time we needed something or tried to talk to staff they would blow us off and be sooo rude. We finally lost our cool when one of the ceilings in the bedrooms started collapsing after a huge storm, went to the office and went off on the manager but she still did nothing!!! Just talked over us and kept saying how much she understood. So she had us move OUT of our apartment into a MODEL apartment and move our furniture next door to an EMPTY apartment until they took out the ENTIRE ceiling in the apartment. When the contracters had to move our personal belongings I specifically told them not to TOUCH ANYTHING until we were physically home!!! So guess what they did, TOUCHED EVERYTHING and broke our bed!!!!!!! To top it off she said we had no right to deny paying rent even though our apartment was trashed and being fixed. We were living in THREE different apartments and they didnt care!! They acted like it was soooo normal to be living this way, she said it would take a week tops, we stayed there for a month and a half until we decided to just leave the place. We told her we were not paying rent until they finished fixing our old apartment, so she said she understood and it was fine we should take our time. So of course the next thing she does is file us for eviction when we havent paid rent!!!!!! In the model apartment it was also FILTHY. They literally just paint over everything in all the apartments instead of cleaning and replacing things. I mean these apartments are the definition of trash. They dont fix anything, they bought this complex and just painted everything thinking it would make it better. They all have roaches, bugs, fleas. Also, while we were staying in the model apartment they replaced the shower heads in the tub, well they put one on wrong and when they came to fix it, they ended up making it worse and taking the whole water pipe out. So we were without a shower but the staff didnt think it was urgent seeing as we had a shower... UPSTAIRS IN OUR NASTY OLD APARTMENT THAT WAS SUPOOSED TO BE GETTING RENOVATED. To make it simple, DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have never been so sincere in my life. Do. Not. Live. Here. TRUST ME!!!
Below average apartment. apartment air conditioner always malfunctioning. infested with cockroaches regardless if you pay for pest control. charge monthly hidden fees that didnt apply to contract. but the worst part is the horrible customer service starting from the manager.Horrible
Please take the time to read this review and heed my warning, as much as they are fixing up these apartments they are still very low quality and unsafe not only with the customer service but with the apartments themselves. for starters, there are bugs EVERYWHERE. My neighbors licence plates were stolen, another neighbor smoked illegal substances regularly which smelled up my apartment , and a couple near the back of the apartments was robbed at gunpoint. Cops are always there and i have been questioned several times about events taking place in the apartments. This is just the beginning of the list of negative things i can say about this apartment and I am not even the type of person to make complaints . This however was very necessary.
Office staff or anybody never ever answer phone calls, they always give you the round around to issues ... oh but the rent notices are on point even if you pay your rent on time ! these people !this apartment complex are a JOKE! they deserve zero stars i can not wait to move out !
Terrible management and customer service, very rude and the office people dont seem like they care about their jobs. Apartments are not in very good condition.. There are holes in the windows and walls, but you cant see where you are going to be living until the day you move in. Even my neighbor said there were holes in his walls. There are leaks in my roof which the maintenance fixed but its still leaking. You cant even control the temperature so your apartment will either be EXTREMELY cold or EXTREMELY hot and they wont do anything about it. The office people are really rude and dont seem like they have a clue what they are doing because they screw things up ALOT. After knowing how this place is I would NEVER live here again!
Since the new management has taken over it is complete crap. The bug control is crap, I woke up with one in my ear one day. There are bugs everywhere and the pest control you pay for is crap. They are awful at maintenance.I have since moved out and it was the worst experience i have had. If your lucky the management will stay the same. Though I never had any good experience with management there. Document anything any management has told to you and have them sign or email it to you.
Worst place in the world to live in. They care more about making money then they do about you’re welfare of their residents. They will try to “lose“ you’re rent payment just so they can try to get more money out of you.If you decide to live here, be careful and always keep you’re recipes.
From where should I start with this horrible place…..1- I agreed with them on 3 month lease and after I signed the lease I was shocked by finding that it says 8 month. I talked to the office and they completely denied it. and claim that they told me that there is no 3 months, but they didnt because there were me and my husband at that time, it is not possible that we both did not hear her saying No we dont have 3 month, we have 8 month NO WAY!!!! the manger promised that she will reduce the breaking the lease payment and when the time come to move out everyone is not available and hard to reach.2- They never pick up the phone, always got the answering service which repeats the same stupid sentence I cant do anything for you Mam, do you want to leave a message to the office and I leave a message but no one calls back. They say that they open 8.30. They are not. they dont open tell 10 A.M. I start calling from 9 to 1 sometimes and they never answer the phone3- some times there is a bad, very very bad and stink smell come from the AC/Heater system. I complained several times but they didnt do anything.4- Of course, in winter, they switch off the AC, so if there is hot days, which happens a lot, the apartment will be like a sauna , and they are not going to switch it on tell summer. my baby kept crying all night sweating too much. You need to buy an AC.5- Although, there is a password on the laundry rooms door and the apartments gate is closed, some one stole my laundry from the laundry room, it was in the washing machine. When I called the office they said Sorry we cant do anything, there are not cameras in that room if you like you can call the police !!!!!!!6- the gate clicker is bad quality. It stooped working after one week on receiving it, and they said we are sorry cant give you another one, we dont have another one to give.7- If I start cooking the apartment will be very hot. literally no oxygen.8- The rent is high considering that the apartment that I took DO NOT include dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer connections, storage, balcony. Also, the closet and kitchen is very small, I kept some of my clothes in the bags and kitchen equipment were spreaded on the bar and all around the place.DONT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT. it was the worst period of my life
Its like even if you beg for maintance to just fix something small it NEVER GETS FIXED and you never get what you requested to be fixed. I had requested pest control one time and I never got him in here so I had to pay attention to see when he was around to come in and spray. I had to ask him MYSELF. The kids play area is dangerous theres glass everywhere its been there for months and the grills are disgusting. We havent even got to enjoy the pool because its green. They honestly dont care about how you live in these apartments. I mean the gate is wide open for everyone to be welcomed in. Its apparently broken and Im sure itll never get fixed. If I could afford to get out of this lease I WOULD. Please read the reviews and listen to them just cause its cheap youll hate it here.
Oh my lord I have never been more happier to finally be moving out of this hell hole after 2 years of living here!!!There is no place to start in writing this because of how god awful it has been. We moved in August of 2015 and after January the management team was replaced so all the problems that we had wrote down for the management team to fix at move in time was never fixed. I have had a hole in my wall since December of 2015 and it has yet been fixed and it may well cost us our deposit when we move out of here on the 21st of August 2017... We have told them over 3 times now over the past 2 years about the wall and they keep telling us we will send someone out their to fix it and blah blah blah. We keep getting maintenance people coming into our apartment to fix random things that we never complained about I.E our toilets and showers clogging... Which we only had one problem such as this and it was March of 2017... for a 3BD 2 BA we where quoted 950 since we all attend UTA and after management got replaced for the 2nd time in January ISH of 2017 the price went up (We had to renew for 6 Months due to us not being able to find a apartment open at the time) to 1250 plus Utilities.....This should be the absolute last place you look into living and if its the last on your list you would probably be better off at the homeless shelter.Over 2 years of living here we all can gladly say we are beyond happy and excited to be moving out of here and into what we call HEAVEN compared to what we dealt with the last 2 years.I will update once we officially move out and into our new apartment on what happened with our deposit because I can honestly say its a money game with the owners of this property. As if they neglect your work orders so those orders can gradually increase in damage and end up costing you your Deposit.
Great location, not cheap as related to other apartments of similar quality. Expect A/C 5 months out of the year if you are lucky. Traffic to get to apartment is very bad. Expect numerous neighbors to be drinking beer and cooking outside their front door. Generally this occurs more than once a week. This could be a good thing, bad thing, or irrelevant to you. I suggest getting a second story apartment as people often are walking through the apartments. Lock your grill up the railing and your bike. People will steal what is not locked down outside. during my stay here two bikes and a grill were stolen. One of the bikes was stolen despite it being locked up.
I would highly advise seeking a place to stay else where than this apartment complex. I have lived there for a year while attending UTA and will say it has its ups and downs, but I would never have lived here if I had known how terrible this complex would be.PROS- Cheap for the most part- Close to UTA- No paid parking/passesCONS- Washing machines will often take your money and not work even though there is no sign that the machine is in poor condition/non functional. Good luck getting your quarters back from the office.- The office will sometimes shut down the laundry houses without a warning which could possibly leave you with your clothes wet and soaking inside of the house until they decide to unlock it. Which could take a day.- Repair team is a joke and does not perform the job request completely. (We submitted a ticket because the roofing in our bathroom was caving in and they repaired the ceiling but left a bunch of pipes laying around the bathroom that were from the ceiling. On top of this they never the fan cover or vent top.- They will not allow you to see the listed room you will be staying in until you sing the contract. The room will most likely have some sort of moderate damage at the least.- THE AC WILL ONLY ALLOW FOR HOT OR COLD. NOT BOTH. (This is my biggest gripe about the place. They will tell the tenants the ac is an older system that can only be switched to hot or cold but not both. This will cause you to go up to a month of extreme hot and a month of extreme cold at the very least. We speculate it isnt an issue of technology. Have fun laying naked in your bed while still sweating and trying to sleep and especially have fun walking out the shower and freezing. They quickly skim over this with you when they have you sign the contract. Big surprise.- It is a pretty ghetto complex and as such you will have the regular ghetto experience such as loud neighbors, tenants arriving late at night with their music blasting so everyone can enjoy their music, and of course the occasional yelling/screaming.All in all if you are a resident of Texas looking to school at UTA or need a cheap place to stay for a while would be the only reason you should remotely think of staying here. Otherwise seek shelter elsewhere.
When I first moved to these apartments there were many problems but since new management has taken over they are slowly making improvements maintenance is making improvements as well just need to work on communication. Hopefully the clubhouse and pools will be open this summer to make this experience awesome.
Im not just an hateful person. I really do hope this review help others to not make the same mistake I did moving into this place.My whole experience with this place was HORRIBLE!! Every month there was a prob! Long story short, staff told me I could pay half money order and the rest online. But they lied. It was a week process to fix the mistake they. I was worried about late fees now, but the assistant manager told me I wouldnt have to pay it since it was their fault. ANOTHER LIE. I end up having to pay the late fees. And this was just 1 prob.Maintenance were just as bad. Made many reports, they never fixed anything. And Im not talking about things I broke, Im talking about stuff that was already messed up and broken when I moved it.Oh and on the 2nd of me moving in, saw a big ass roach. And we pay for pest with doesnt work at all.Overall, these apts are a joke. If it got burn down (pay everyone moved out first) I would gladly dance on its ashes.

For the past couple days I have been dealing with a problem I thought was solved 6 weeks ago. At that I time I visited the office in person (a 40 minute drive for me now) to solve the post-moveout credit balance on my account. I met with the manager, we went over the ledger and we cleared up the numbers, and I paid the balance due asap so that I could be done with this place. Well, 2 days ago I received a call from a debt collector wanting payment on the account that was paid in full weeks ago. I asked for correspondence and updates so I that could know that the issue was solved. I emailed the manager myself to initiate this. Nothing. No call, no email. So today I called, a woman answered the phone. I got her up to speed on the situation, she spoke to the manager, and basically said, Well update you we when we know. I continued to request to be in the loop as this is my personal finances at risk of being damaged. (Im sure not by much, but its the principal.) After explaining this to the woman, I received a one word answer: Yes. She clearly wasnt trying to listen because that response had nothing to with what I just explained. I irritatedly but politely told her that she has to understand where Im coming from, and thats its unfortunate the way that they treat people like numbers on a page. She responded: Okay. Seriously? No apology? No courtesy? Im dumbfounded.I plead to anyone reading, DO NOT MOVE HERE. Clearly others are so bothered by this place as well that not only have they been reviewing and commenting, but liking the more recent comments. You dont get a notification that says others have reviewed either, so this is purely to set the record straight so that this company may be held accountable for their actions (or inactions). Notice how many of the most recent reviews are only one star. Notice how many of them have written very few other reviews on Google, these are reasonable people. During that time there I have experienced: a prostitution ring run by Romani (gypsies), a murder, frequent cop visits to the complex, roaches without end, dictatorly control over heat and cooling, an office that almost never answers and never returns calls, constantly open gates, no lights in living and bedrooms, little storage in kitchen, etc. I could go on and on. Clearly, management doesnt understand how to run a property correctly. Dont be fooled by the modern-looking leasing office - it may reflect a sense of openness and transparency, but the only openness that it shows is that management openly doesnt know where to spend their money. The staff is also completely unhelpful and would rather debate you about claims or defer to the ever-convenient response of, I have no power over this, can I have the manager call you back? But I repeat again, there is never a response.On top of all this, when I finally moved out they charged me extra fees for utilities I had already paid for, and placed the burden of replacing the carpet on my shoulders even though I spent a day cleaning it with a rental carpet cleaner. I have called enough times to lose count over the past few days and guess what - one answer that included a managerial deferral (once again), and unreturned calls from voicemails (go figure).Its simple - please do yourselves a favor and cross this place off your list immediately. Rent is rising quickly and there is nothing to show for it in improvements. There are many other places to stay nearby.
Great customer service from all the staff ladies Maria,Jenny,Sarai,Kim , I like that I feel right at home when I come to the leasing office.And I get help right away on any issue.Overall great place to live.
Not bad for the first few days, later youll encounter some problems. The paint on the cabinets were poorly done and no stoppers on all doors. I have seen roaches a few times thinking that I wont see any. More than 5 stray cats play in the parking lot and see one neighbor feeds them everyday
Literally have been living here for 6 days and already regretting my decision. Im going to an apartment on the first floor, discarding the reviews because every stay is different. There has been someone lingering around my apartment since I moved in. I went in and spoke with Gretal, The office lady. Tell her that ever since Ive been moving and that there has been someone sitting outside my apartment At odd hours. She did nothing. I came in a few days later to ask the progress or has anyone seen anything about what was going on about my apartment. She didnt instruct me to tell the police the first time she said shed handle it. Whenever I came back she told me that I needed to call the police. I asked what does she do she said nothing because its my job. She lied about 24 hour property patrol. They do not come out every day, and theyre only here in the evening. Im unsatisfied and I dont feel like they care about my safety. Im a young lady who works overnight. I figured theyd care somewhat about my safety. But apparently thats very false.
Very horrible place to live. No hot water in my unit for months and all the manager said way they will relieve me of my lease with out penalties but they turn around and give my name to creditors for breaking my lease. Do not rent here worst place ever add a few dollars and go somwhere else.

I have been living here 5 months. When I moved in my heat didnt work. I complained for a month, they finally fixed it. Now its hot. I have been asking for MY Ac unit to be fixed as well! Its June and over 90 degrees outside and Im living upstairs with no air! I called and told the office they said they had other emergencies and will get tinne soon.... this was Memorial Day weekend. This is the shittest apartments I have ever came across . I was supposed to move in Saturday Nov. 22nd & the tenants before me had moved out on the 9th, yet I still didnt get to see my apartment until the day before I was supposed to move in . Thats poor service if you ask me . They take they time on showing you where you will be laying your head for the next 6-12 months or even raising you family in this nasty built up apartments . I am 4 months pregnant, I wouldnt even be able to fit into my own kitchen in a month or so . & when I denied because I refuse to be uncomfortable they denied me my Admin Fee . Like its totally unfair to make someone pay for the redecoration of a apartment they have never seen . This apartment complex needs to be SHUTDOWN .

These apartments AND their staff fu***** sucks. They dont work with you even if its their fault. The hot water is no good it either burns you or its too cold. The pools are never open. Ive been there almost a year and the pool hasnt been open once. Late fees are stupid, they dont have a drop box for rent, and their internet website to pay rent didnt take mine or 10 others money. So now we have to pay late fees on other fees. I went from having to pay 690 to 860 because of their screw up on the internet. Also, they use really cheap paint for apt, have bad maitenence, and they all around suck as a business.
Please do not I repeat do not move here I have Roaches and Bees. yes I said bees in my apartment this is not a safe place to stay. The water smells, The apartment hot is hell you do not control your temperature, and etc ... it may be a lower price but trust me its not worth it.

Awful place. Don’t waste your time!!!!! The management doesn’t help and they are very very rude. They act bothered and lose paperwork. They don’t document and tell you different things. They make excuses for everything. When I first got to Texas (from out of state) they had confirmed with me the apartment would be ready... it was not and I had to wait two days to be moved in. Really really do not recommend this place!! Don’t do it!!
With the change in management, Montecito club is a good place to stay.
I wish I could give a zero rating. This is a whole nightmare to me how neglected an apartment could get. The worst part is instead of amendments being made it keeps getting worse. I think for many people to give a star review that is an indicator there is something really wrong. All facilities onsite have been shut down and to make things worse even packages will no longer be delivered to the office. It beats my imagination that management could seem to ignore peoples needs and they expect to get paid on time for their below standard services.

I just signed my second year lease and all in all Ive been quite satisfied with living here. The ladies in the office are extremely sweet and very friendly. The maintenance staff is ok too.
If you dont want to live in infestation then DONT move here! They tell you one thing and just disregard you in fixing the problem. Especially for the price you can find a wayyyyy better complex with management and office staff that actually cares and is worth giving your money to. If you want long term stability in living then this is NOT the place to settle!
I have lived here for 21 years. Its had ups and downs. Its been mostly a decent place to live.BUTRight now, maintenance is a joke. SERIOUS issues, like the circuit breaker problem I am having (broken breaker, three unusable outlets) are ignored, then the ticket is marked as completed and closed.I am also having a problem (also ignored) with the door separating (see attached image).I am trying to find the actual property owner to complain, as current management appears to be uncaring outside of collecting rent and fees.
This is the worst !! Assistant manager never has an answer for my questions when her job is clearly to help me pay my rent !! The minute I pay late she is banging on my door with an attitude that’s she will kick me out and I ask her about the portal since it’s been giving me a hard time to pay And refused my check but never has an answer other than I need to talk to the manager !! I talked to my neighbors and they feel the same way about her we will do everything we can to speak directly to the owners and see if they appreciate us residents that try to pay rent on time to be treated the way we do by her !!-Upset residente
Management here is horrible.. if you let them know that something needs to be done, they will take forever to get it done.. sometimes they won’t fix anything at all.. then management will get upset with you if you have a problem with them.. they don’t listen nor take responsibility for anything that is their fault..I don’t recommend anybody moving here..
Terrible place. Was promised an electric bill that would be off what I use. I am one person and a student who works all day. Hardly here except to sleep and some can use over $100 in electricity. The whole place is Jerry-rigged, example: they used waded tissues to make a baseboard flush with the wall then painted over it. The hot water changes on a whim so showering here is hardly bearable. If they gave me a break in my rent for referring someone, I wouldnt. No one needs to live like this.

If you call in, try not to talk to Cathy. I wouldnt trust a word she says. She will not provide you with up to date information, will blow off your appointment, and will ultimately waist your time. It took me one experience to realize this place is run by amateurs, and based on these other reviews I am glad Im not considering this complex anymore.
This place is full of it and i wouldnt recommend it to anybody so me and my husband had to move because of the storm took out everybody in the complex pipes so a friend of my husband told us about this place we had to pay $125 each for the application fee so we do so just to be asked for the same information over and over and we did so because we needed a place to go just to be told the apartment already been rented and we couldnt get our money back over their mess up they were rude af and will take your money knowingly there isnt any opening aint no telling how many people they have done this too but i want answers and my money back in my eyes these people are crooks

Do NOT apply online and make sure you show them proof of income in person to see if you make enough to get the apartment. If you apply online they will deny you and keep the $100 application fee if you dont qualify.

I Cant Sleep When Im Off On Weekends Because Of The Noise Outside From Workers Cutting Grass And The Blower Noise. Its Ashame Im Ready For My Lease To Be Up.

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I HAVE EVER LIVED IN!!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would! I moved in this apartment September 2013 and moved out September 2014. When I moved in my apartment was FILTHY and had not been cleaned in what looked like years. After complaining to the manager that I thought BLACK MOLD was in the main bathroom they did NOTHING! I had to complain to corporate and finally they moved me to another apartment. That was not the end of it. Since I had already paid rent for the month and they moved me to another unit, I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED for both units. THEY THREATENED TO EVICT ME IF I DID NOT PAY. I paid it and had to complain to CORPORATE and FOX 4 NEWS to get my money back and it took 4 months to do so. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING! I WAS ALSO DOUBLE CHARGED FOR UTILITIES TWO MONTHS IN A ROW.UTILITIES- THEY WANT YOU TO PAY YOUR UTILITIES WITH THE RENT. THE PROBLEM IS YOU GET YOUR UTILITY BILL ON THE 1ST SOMETIMES LATER THAN THAT. THEY EXPECT YOU TO PAY YOUR UTILITIES IN 48 HOURS AFTER GETTING THE BILL!! NO GRACE PERIOD! WHO DOES THAT? ALL UTILITY COMPANIES GIVE YOU SOME TYPE OF GRACE PERIOD. IM NOT SURE IF THAT IS LEGAL...They tell you the apartments are metered but if you move to phase 1, they are not. They control when you turn on the heating and air. In the spring months it is a SAUNA in your apartment because you cant use the air conditioning until the end of APRIL. NO CEILING FANS IN THE UNITS. Its HORRIBLE!! If you walk the complex youll see some of them have window units.They cut the water off almost every week for maintenance or emergency but THEY DONT GIVE THE TENANTS ANY TYPE OF WARNING. Dont perm your hair at home, youll end up bald headed because you might not be able to rinse it out!!ITS GHETTO!! MY NEIGHBOR WAS OUTSIDE MY KIDS WINDOW WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE AFTER AN ARGUMENT AND I HAD TO CALL THE COPS. THE MANAGERS DID NOTHING!!! Its NOT SAFE, the cops are there every weekend. NOT A PLACE FOR FAMILIES!! The neighbors sit outside in their cars in the parking lot blasting their music and the windows are so thin, you hear everything. NO INSULATION IN THE WALLS EITHER, YOU CAN HEAR YOUR NEIGHBOR FART IN THE NEXT APARTMENT!MAINTENANCE DOES PATCH JOBS AND DOESNT REALLY FIX ANYTHING. My dishwasher kept falling out and they just kept patching it up.The clubhouse and pool they are so proud to show new tenants are always closed. THE POOL WAS ONLY OPEN MAYBE 15-20 DAYS THIS SUMMER THE REST OF THE TIME, IT WAS CLOSED! MY Dog constantly got fleas from the dog park because they dont treat the grass. The neighbors smoked so much weed in their apartments it came through the vents in our unit. TOTALLY EMBARRASSING HAVING TO EXPLAIN TO VISITORS THAT ITS NOT ME, ITS MY NEIGHBORS.THE ROACHES WERE HORRIBLE! I WAS NOT USED TO LIVING LIKE THAT! THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! IN THE APARTMENTS AND OUTSIDE.The washer and dryers dont work, your better off going to the laundromat.BE SURE TO LOCK YOUR CARS BECAUSE SEVERAL TIMES WE SAW PEOPLE WALKING THE LOTS TRYING TO BREAK IN CARS.SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS PLACE! DONT BE FOOLED BY THE NICE PAINT JOB ON THE BUILDINGS, THIS PLACE SUCKS! IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN THE GHETTO PROJECTS, MOVE HERE!LINCOLN PROPERTIES NEEDS TO DROP THIS PLACE, ITS MAKING THEM LOOK BAD. To rent an apartment from them you need to have income 3X the rent and rent is $1,085 X 3 = $ 3,255.00 needed for income I think the complex is owned by Bonnie and Clyde or Jesse James

Utterly disgusting. Maintenance is horrible, the amount of cockroaches is unreal , and the front desk irresponsible. I have holes in my ceiling, so I called the front office. 2 weeks later the maintenance guy came while I was at work and all he did was cover the hole with a TRASH BAG and some duck tape.

This place has a lot of roaches and the manager here always has excuses about treating it. They make promises but they do not follow up. People who work here seem like they do not know what they are doing. I FIND HUGE ROACHES IN MY BEDROOM ALL THE TIME. I WISH THEY DID SOMETHING.

Please dont let the photos fool you! This property looks nothing how it seemd. None of bedrooms have ceiling fans, they control your air/heat, and no adequate storage/cabinent space in kitchen.
This place is a living nightmare! Management is rude, maintenance is useless, the Amenities have been closed for over a year, the whole property is noisy, dirty, and unsafe. Police are called out here every day.

Hate that place they dont have enough vistor parking they have 5 building in the back and each building have at least 20 apartment in the unit and they gave them ONLY 5 VISITORS PARKING SPACES And one is a trick park there and your car will be tolled.

One of the worst apartments in arlington .i was here from jan 2016- aug 2016 .The AC wont work .The management is stupid .The complaints wont be acknowledged .Maintenance problems will be resolved may be in a week if you keep on informing them .I would give a 0 out of 10 for this apartments .Dont even think about moving into these
You get what you pay for is right...I have loud neighbors ..upstairs is Godzilla and across the hall is king Kong..im disgusted that I live here..these Apts need to be really updated inside especially the closest and bathroom doors and the front door .there is dog💩 every where they dont implement the pet owners pick up...its cheap and close to my job..thats it..I would NOT refer Anybody...Not Worth it.

2022-06-03Here goes some “good” experience. Walked into the office on the way leaving somewhere. I needed some maintenance work. I asked the I am assuming manager of the property complex if she could assist me and put a request in. She asked me if I had a computer or a phone and to go online and put a request in when there was nobody else in the office.. very upsetting that someone in that position won’t take a min or two to assist a resident especially when the office was completely empty. Now we have been without any running water since 12pm it’s almost 8pm. No updates no eta no communication. The apartments only communicate with you when they are trying to sell you a registered parking spot or asking you for rent money. Anything outside of that you are basically clueless. Let’s not forget about all the types of fees they are trying to charge you. Tried to charge people $300 fee for entering a gym early.. want to charge you $300 if you lose a gate key fob.. rent is slowly starting to climb up.. only reason why I’m staying at these apartments because they have one good employee in my opinion she handles her business and gets it done. The other one is on the phone outside always talking and the main boss lady is always in her office never assisting anyone

2022-03-04I wish I could give a -5 not even a 0 a -5! This has been the worst renting experience! This was a last minute choice and was a rushed choice. I wish I wouldve done more research. We have gone days without hot water. Issues with heater when winter was here. We have no control over AC and its 80 outside which means its burning hot inside. Some nights are so hot I have to sleep over family members homes because of the kids. Its suffocating. The list goes on! There are fees for everything including things we cannot use for example the gym. The amenities are non existing yet we are being charge monthly. So many types of fees which make no sense. I agreed to a 3 bedroom for 1518.00 a month, now paying a lot more since they have been bought out by new owners. Their staff is another story. I have tired contacting the staff via emaills, phone calls, but I never get a call/email back. I have to go out my way with my busy schedule to go in person. They never have any suitable solutions to any issues. They are extremely unorganized and their excuse is always new staffing or being new. This management has been an awful experience, and like nothing I have ever experienced before. 7 more months to go to be able to move, and believe me, I am counting the DAYS to be able to move out of these apartments. ITS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!!!!

My leasing agent Royissa Is so real, down to earth and understands the difference from real life and work. Very professional and happy to help whoever how ever she can. Im so happy with my new place & a office team I can count on!! Thanks ladies.

2022-03-21Ive been living here 2 years now and never ever been late on my rent. December I had a major stroke and not to mention cancer patient, I stayed in hospital from December to end of January and taken to nursing home for physical therapy to walk again and March got discharged.I couldnt pay all rent for the 1st time ever and they said I needed to move in 3 wow. Children outside all hours of the night messing with people cars and stuff. I cant wait to move out the beginning of May. The rent is rising seems every month and Ive never paid what I signed lease to pay ever. Believe me Im a viewer and will tell you good or bad.

2022-03-27Gotta give the honest review. Its march and its over 80 degrees and they have yet to turn the AC on for the people in phase 1. We are hot. The new management company has taken over yes, but we still have hot water problems every other week and it gets shut down and they have to fix it which takes them like 3 days to fix just for it to be broken again.. We have had this large pile of dirt sitting in the parking lot since oct/nov and they still havent cleaned it up yet. So right now we are sitting without hot water as well as we dont have any ac in this blazing hot heat and its only getting hotter. We are suffering here. Look at the temp in my apartment

2022-07-07Applied from a different state with constant communication- then after a bit all communication ceased. They told me they were waiting on employment and rental verification, both sources on my end had confirmed to me that they sent what Royissa needed. After questioning her for clarity about the situation, emails started to be ignored and phone were calls not answered anymore. Montecito Club basically stole 300$ from me and my boyfriend - do not waste your time or money here. They will tell you what you want to hear just to pay their bills it seems.

2022-05-31DONT LIVE HERE. They are homeless people living under the stairs next to me. Ive spoken to the apartment manager and she has done nothing about it. But who am I to judge I only pay my rent every month.

2022-05-04This place is disgusting, It is filled with roaches. The walls are paper thin. I can constantly hear my neighbors and their conversations. Trash is dumped outside constantly. This place needs to be shut down. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
