We came here on a whim and we had never been here before but I had remembered that this place was next to a Walmart that I went in so I saved it. The menu Isnt all right price for the portions. However, I ordered a stromboli and I started eating it and noticed that it was sort of. Gooey. I opened up the inside and half of it was still raw. I sort of saw that coming because it felt cold on the inside yet It was burnt on the outside. They returned the item and gave me a plate of spaghetti instead. My boyfriend liked his pizza, however and ate most of it. They were nice enough to have crayons and paper for my son. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Ambiance was nice and the lighting was really good. It felt pretty homie inside. I think if the Stromboli wasnt Raw I would have liked it. They didnt charge me for it though So thats good. I did like the breadstick however, they had a nice garlicky taste. We may come back depending on if were feeling like going to Allen.
I wasnt sure what to expect of this place when we arrived. It is very small, and the menu is a bit more limited than some other Italian places. The waitress was very attentive (in fact the entire staff was on the ball) and got our orders taken promptly.I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and jalapeños. It was AMAZING. Best pizza Ive had in a while. I would highly recommend it!
Ordered via Uber eats. The pizza taste like a frozen pizza same texture and the wings were small and super dark. Requested light sauce was covered in sauce. I’m hungry and paid for it so I’ll eat it, it’s edible, the pizza just doesn’t taste like it came from a restaurant. Just disappointed. Maybe this is a one off.
Amazing service! Came to the Napoli’s in Allen for the first time ever today! My daughter got chicken tenders and they did not have ketchup, the owner Timmy ran to Walmart and surprised her with ketchup while her chicken was still warm! It was very sweet and appreciated! He was so nice along with the rest of the staff! We will for sure be coming here again because the owner was extremely friendly and appreciative of his customer! Also the food was delicious! Thank you Timmy!
Pizza? Good! Pasta? Gimmie! Flavors? Great! Staff? Considerate!Great place to take your family and carry out. Portions are good and edible next day. There’s only a couple of authentic Italian joints in town - this is one. Ingredients are fresh and you can taste each. Ask if you need or would like to taste a particular flavor and they will accommodate.
Allen, TX - EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK — Great food and experience previously on a take out order. Tried them again today (9/18), for pizza and salad. Husband and I were violently sick a couple hours after eating w the same GI issues. Called to give them a heads up and the owner Timmy (thick Italian accent) immediately began to argue w me that there was no way I could be sick that soon after eating. Disappointed in such response from the owner. Eating out is “at my own risk” but please don’t be a jerk when someone alerts you that your food made their family sick!! Clean up!!
We ordered delivery on a Wednesday at 6:50pm. The confirmation email said the order would be ready in 20 minutes. Anyway, almost an hour later I called the restaurant, and our order had just left the building. The food arrived somewhat warm. We did actually really enjoy the Caesar Salad, the Spaghetti w/ Garlic and Olive Oil, and the Beef/Cheese Tortellini Alfredo, we just wish that they had arrived hot. We do plan on going in to try the food next time, just unhappy that we were told 20 minutes for delivery and it took over an hour.
I’ve eaten Italian food all over the world including in super expensive famous places and yes Italy too. And I also like to make my own homemade marinara and pasta. So I’m no expert but I do think I know good Italian food when I taste it and Napoli’s is up there with the best. This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants. The NY Spectacular pizza is amazing. My youngest could live off the Stromboli. The marinara and pasta are divine. I try to make my homemade marinara taste like Napoli’s. I almost got it figured out; hint, fresh herbs. The house salad dressing is to die for but wish they’d use more real greens rather than iceberg with the house salad. Pro tip: get the Greek salad with house dressing. This feels like an Italian bistro in NY or Italy except in Texas we have strip malls. Don’t let that fool you. This place is better than most bistros I’ve been. Super nice wait staff and the owner always comes around to talk. Highly recommended.
Pizza is just OK.But worst part is their people taking orders. Very rude and ignorant. Also guys need to buy new phone or switch to another carrier. It is unbearable to repeat order 10 times because those ignorants dont hear you.And then they will mess with your order and blame you. After couple of misunderstandings regarding order I switched to Itsllian Villa and pizza and calzones are brilliant there.
The owner and his wife are really goodmanagers. They gave a really great team, everyone participating to ensure the customers are taken care of. Besides the staff, the food is delicious. On keto? Try the stromboli without bread.Their house dressing is amazing as well. Great food. We usually hit them up once a week. Large 2 topping pizza with pickup is a great price too. Enjoy.
Very good! We came and ordered different pastas on our first visit and we liked those enough to come again. We had noticed that many other tables were having pizza and the delivery boxes were nearly flying out the door. We returned to get pizza and it did not disappoint! My almost 3 year old son loved watching our pizza being made and exclaimed loudly when our dough was spinning in the air! So fun! The service was very personable and attentive.
First time trying, mostly based on previous reviews and looking for my new local pie shop. Got a delivery...the pizza (sauce and crust) was nice...but got the wrong ingredients from what I ordered. Fully understand that people make mistakes. It wont stop me from trying them again but can only give three stars for this experience.
It was the worst experience ever! The pizza was great like always. The young lady who took my order messed it up.Thank God they repeat it too you when you pick it up.I had too wait another 15 minutes she said I repeat the order which she did but she messed up.I understand we are make mistakes. She never apologized until I said something. And she got real loud. There was no reason for that. Im the one who was put out.I been going there for years and this was the worst example. The customer who was there picking up his pizza could not believe how rude she was too me.
I’ve only had the pizza here a few times and each time I was slightly disappointed. I find the sauce a tad too sweet in my opinion. Also, the last few times, the dough tasted stale. I used to order from 360 pies but started ordering here after they closed. I’ve been on a search for my go-to pizza place and looks like Costco pizza is more agreeable to our palate.
Being Italian it’s hard to find decent authentic food. Rest assured Napoli’s has it! Their sauce is not watery like most restaurants and it has flavor and not just a plain tomato taste. I love their bread it’s like little garlic bread knots! Service was great! I will be back!
We have been to all the Napolis in Allen and Plano. Theyre all operated by members of the same family, and each has a neighborhood feeling. Their pizza is fabulous and, for the price, super sized. But our favorite dishes are the chicken dishes, especially the Carciofi and their Parmesan.
We ordered a Sicilian pizza as well as wings recently. The pizza was delivered cold, well done, dry, the sausage looked like rat pellets and was thoroughly disgusting. The wings were so hot that we couldn’t even eat them. Dinner was ruined for everyone. We told them we wanted it delivered at 7 and they showed up at 6:30 with cold foodWe have never had an issue with them before and this was a horrible experience.
Best Pizza place in Allen! Family owned and operated which makes it even better! We order from here at least once a week! The fried Ravioli is the best and the pizza and deserts are to die for! Puts other places to shame! Stop looking around for an Italian restaurant. The buck literally stops right here!
Ive been coming here for over 10 years and the food is consistently terrific. Pizza, lasagna, beef tortelino and chicken Alfredo are all delicious! To top it off, the owner is a super nice and friendly guy, always checking on each table to make sure their experience is a great one.
The best place in town! Great pizza, the best Ive had. Excellent service, the manager is considerate and very cool. The ambiance is decent, I love the Sinatraesque music. The menu is quite extensive and have never had a dish I wasnt pleased with. I recommend the sausage maranera pasta, the eggplant parmesan, the calzones, but the pizza rocks my world!
I love Napolis, but this place didnt make the cut. Came in and the tables were all dirty. In the bathroom, there wasnt paper towel. When my friend ordered a salad, he didnt get ranch when he asked, and when I asked for Marinara (Twice) she still had to get it prepared. Then my friend had to wait another five minutes for his food. With every request, it was answered with a yes but wasnt delivered, or was met with rolling eyes and even sarcasm. It wasnt just a bad waitress, the manager I asked for Marinara and he said yes and went and sat down and talked for almost twenty minutes to someone else. I got a personal pan cheese pizza (6.95) and they said a salad came with it, then charged me for the salad. The marinara finally came, in a huge family size bowl. Will not be back again. Love Napolis, will still come, but not to this one in Allen. Never.
Update: They no longer serve pizza by the slice, however, if you dont want a huge pizza, just ask for the personal pizza.Great Italian food with great service at a very reasonable price. If Im not super hungry, Ill typically grab a slice or 2 of their authentic pizza by the slice. If I am looking for a little more substance, I like to order their lasagna or lobster ravioli meals which come with bread as well. I also like to go during their lunch time (until 2 pm) so that I can get a free salad with my meal. If you are in the area or looking for a new Italian spot to try, I would recommend that you give it a shot!
Ordered 3 pizzas 4 family dinner Saturday night around 5:10. We were told it would be ready in 20 to 25 minutes. At 5:40 when i arrived pizza was not even in the oven. I was told it would be ready in about 10-15 minutes. I dint get our pizza until 6:15. This is where problem really starts. I asked my sever why they didnt just tell us upfront they were slamed and in the weeds. His reply was because management tells us to tell you 20 minutes. I have a big problem with management lieing to paying customers. I dont mind waiting for good pizza but have some integrity...There are 30+ other restaurants I can order pizza from in Allen alone. Yall need to seriously reconsider your your policies moving forward.
Great place to take the family...food is hot, flavors are great, desserts are large and extraordinary. Servings are large as well. Often have a box or two of take home and theyre almost as good the next day. This is a great place to slip into...not much of a wait. Its busy most nights, but we seem to find a table. The servers are great and the owner/manager comes around and talks with us from time to time.Well pass on the chains and the so called mom-and-pops in McKinney and make this extra drive...well worth the time and effort.
I am giving it a 3 because I normally love this place more than life itself. However we ordered $50 worth the pizza tonight and got the blackest burnt crust I have ever seen and called to talk to someone and they say the phone down for 15 minutes and never let me talk to management. Being a person who manages a property and knowing way 2 much about customer service, I am very disappointed.
Great customer service, clean, exceptional value. It is not unusual to have the owner visit with each customer making sure their visit is truly an enjoyable experience. Eaten here for years, always enjoyable, friendly, eat there twice, they will usually know your name!
This is real Italian. I can say this especially after our trip to Italy. Everything is good. My favorite is their Calzone and pasta dishes. Their cannoli is superior to the Cake Boss. The ingredients are so much better. Dont bother to go to Dallas. Casual atmosphere. Real Italian home cooking.
I have been a customer for many years. Very happy with Pizza and Appetizers. Very unhappy with the cold sub I ordered 6th of July 2019. I cant believe you dont know how to make an Italian Sub... Your meats are pre-cut obviously! The meats are as thick as a roofing shingle. Let me make a suggestion. Thinly sliced Capacola, Salami, Cooked Ham, Mortadella, Provolone Cheese. Topped with thinly sliced tomatoes, onions and lettuce. DO NOT SEND SALAD DRESSING!!! SIMPLE OLIVE OIL AND RED WINE VINEGAR WITH A FEW SHAKES OF OREGINO! NO BASIL EITHER! Thats it. You would sell a ton of these! Oh, and your bread was flavorless and had no crispness what so ever. I took a few bites and discarded the rest. Bread tasted like you bought it at Kroger. Very disappointed.
We had just moved to Lucas, I mean just moved like that day, and called Napoli for delivery of a bunch of pies. Wow, great pizza, awesome service and it was the owner that brought our food!Have been there many times over the past four months and love the food and the staff. These folks remember you just like in the old neighborhood and are even willing to try something different. My daughter wanted a Margrite (sp) pie and they used the basil I had with and made it for her.Im a Raving Fan of this place...Try them out and you will be hooked!
Just stopped in for lunch haf the calamari whish was good in a generic sort of way & the linguini w/ clams & white sauce which was a solid meh. Not bad food, but hardly exeptional either. There are some other italian joints in allen that id try before i came back here.

2022-05-16Fairly big restaurant in a strip mall with ample parking. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and in good repair. The atmosphere is somewhat lacking for an Italian restaurant. The rolls were so light and fluffy.... They were very good as was the lasagna and other dishes we had. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Recommend.

2022-07-01They have a great lunch menu. You get a small salad and garlic rolls with your choice of entree. I always get the Pasta Combo. So good. It has lasagna manicotti and stuffed shells. The people here are always very attentive and friendly.

2022-04-02I’d give it a zero but I don’t know if this would let me. If you are ordering for delivery beware. I’ve now tried twice to get a simple spaghetti and sausage with meat sauce. First time I got the meat sauce but no sausage even though I paid for it. This evening got noodles and some kind of sauce with no meat and again no sausage. My wife’s lasagna was noodles with sauce and no meat. I have to think this is standard operating at this location so I believe we will quit trying.

2020-01-24Napolis was a roller coaster ride for your taste buds. Im short, I loved it. My coworkers and I went to Napolis after work. This was my first time going, and I am happy to say that I am going back. We started off with the Mozzarella Cheese, Baked Mushrooms, and the Chicken Wings for appetizers. All were excellent, however for me, the Wings were the best. They were golden fried and seasoned perfectly. Just writing about them makes me want to go back:) Everything was so good, and the service was amazing also. I give Napolis two thumbs up.
