This was my first visit, probably my last. I walked to the door where I saw a sign saying the size restrictions for your bag/purse. My bag was smaller so I continued my entrance, a man was standing at the door. He said my bag was too big but hed let me in anyway. I told him I saw the sign and my bag fit the measurements. He took out a piece of paper to measure it, I was right. The energy in there plus that encounter made me very uncomfortable. As I was leaving I heard a different man having the same purse/bag conversation with someone coming in.Decent stuff in here but, not worth the vibe in my opinion.
Ive shopped here for years before pandemic and have lots of jewelry and rocks until today. I was asked to check my purse ( not a big one but big enough for wallet, glasses. Keys, phone etc.) Its a shame that they have had so many thieves but I dont know them either and wont subject myself to identy or credit card theft leaving my purse in their care. I guess I wont be back since this was a long drive from Cedar Park. Yes I could probably leave my purse in the car but not everything can be left in a hot car in 100°+ temps.
We loved looking at all the diversity of rocks and gemstones here! It was not too crowded, and the staff was welcoming and checked in on us every so often. The chalcopyrite and bismuth were our favorites. Unfortunately the prices were out of our budget, so we were not able to make a purchase, but maybe next time!
I was born in ATX and have been coming here a long time and used to enjoy it. These past 4/5years though, something has felt so off. The energy there seems really dark, the employees can be uninterested, rude, and short, and I havent been able to find any crystals I connect to. I leave feeling absolutely exhausted, like the black cloud thats in there sucked all my energy. This place used to be so positive and powerful. I dont know whats changed. Ive talked about this change with a lot of my friends and they have agreed. One friend recently pointed out after her bad visit where the employees were extremely rude, that she believes the place may have been cursed or the likes. I dont think shes far off.Whatevers going on, its hard to want to stop by anymore.
I used to really love visiting this place and spending my money here, but probably wont be back again. I did not appreciate being followed around the store by employees who thought I was going to steal. The signs around the store saying SMILE YOURE ON CAMERA gave me bad vibes. Quality of the products has declined. Meh.
I tagged along with my daughter and was unexpectedly surprised by all of the wonderful items, experiences, and amazing staff!! We each received a tarot card reading, a mind blowing demo of the singing bowls, and even found a rare stone shed been wanting. It took us about 2 hours to walk through the entire store, beginning in the raw bulk area and venturing our way into the retail store. Theres also an events center where unique events are held. If youre a lover of the metaphysical studies or practices, youve GOT to stop by!
So happy I made the drive from San Antonio to check this place out. I felt the energy walking through the door and couldn’t help but smile the entire time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Vast crystal, rock, fossil and mineral selection. They also carry incense, deity statues, jewelry and Himalayan salt lamps. Love it and will definitely come back
I could stay in the place the whole day!Definitely a hidden gem of Austin.I love how they have prices options for everyone’s budget ranging from 10 cents to $25,000.I loved being able to see the giant quartz in person. Wow!The staff was nice and helpful. I loved how they weren’t pushy and let you go about browsing the store then being available when you are ready to check out.I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely return in the future! Cheers!
Largest inventory of crystals and minerals in North America! A road stop must for all rock lovers or anyone interested in metaphysical work. All around amazing store with a little something for everyone. Make sure you have plenty of time to spare because there are so many amazing things to see! Polished or raw minerals, lapidary equipment, rock hounding tools, beautiful jewelry, beads, cabochons, candles, inscense, sage and smudging tools, singing bowls, salt/quartz/agate lamps, a whole reference library, fossils, a really neat kids section and so much more! They even offer lapidary services and a gem dig for the kids in the Rock Depot!
Huge selection of rocks! There are three parts to this place though, a main showroom type building, a yard outside with bulk rocks, and then further back, another building with smaller bulk rock and mineral selections.Everything seemed fairly priced besides the things that werent stones, like clothes and insence ect. I would give this place a higher rating but the employees seemed to not want to be there. On top of that, I came one hour before closing and as soon as I came in, an employee told me to hurry up because they were going to close soon. Albeit it was a Friday night, it seemed unprofessional.Overall, I reccomend this place to any rock enthusiast as they have a wide selection with fair prices
This store has inspired me. What a wonderful experience everytime I go. Friendly staff and actually knowledgeable. If its your first visit be prepared to stay a while. So many pieces inside and outside the premises. Its an amusement park for the mind, body, and soul. My girlfriend and I are now visiting once a month for geodes, and other stones that capture the eye. I would give this store all the stars in the universe if I could. 5 is not enough.
What a shame. What happened to this place. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable walking through a store in my life. Nearly assaulted at the door, purse checking and charging for masks. Signs everywhere and I mean everywhere. People are definitely paranoid at this place. The energy of this place is horrible. The poor folks purchasing these over priced stones would have to cleanse them so heavily because of the energy drain of this place. This place is a black hole.
Was pretty excited to take a friend from out of state here but after waiting over a hour in line to get into a empty store was VERY disappointing. I understand trying to maintain distance at the time now but this space can easily hold at least double the amount of people they were allowing in (18) and still have plenty of room. Cmon. Plus the guy letting people in wasnt paying attention and multiple people came out but he wouldnt let anyone in. The icing on the cake was wait in line for a hour plus and cant use the restroom. Hopefully they make some adjustments to these ridiculous rules.
From entrance the staff was rude. When I needed help from the staff they were distracted and unresponsive. Staff didnt know what kind of stones were in the jewelry. She was young. Right before closing time this lady started walking behind me, asking if I needed help finding something, waving her hands around... How rude. Ive never been to a place where they sold calming stones and I had such an unpleasant experience. Staff looked like they didnt wanna be there. Its very expensive too. Will never come back.
Wow this place has changed so much. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl and I’ve always known they’re horribly overpriced, to the point where they’re really ripping you off… but after this recent visit, I will never go back here again. The people who work here are extremely rude. Right when we walked in they told us we needed to have a face mask on at all times (no greeeting or anything) and we didn’t have any and they said that we could buy a mask for $1. Another rip off! So we bought one mask (only needed one cause my other two friends had theirs). Then they said they needed to hold all our purses behind the counter….fine. While walking around the store there were also 3’or 4 employees walking around acting like they weren’t employees but they were really just keeping a close eye on everyone I guess but really made the experience uncomfortable considering there were only a handful of people there. It used to be that they had a description of each stone on the table but now it’s just a QR code… which they forgot to mention when they asked us to check our bags. So we didn’t know what any of the stones meant. Then upon lying. One of my items was marked incorrectly I guess so they made a huge deal about it and went back and checked every single rock (mind you there’s a line of people waiting to pay) but only one person checking out since the others were too busy making sure no one was stealing. Every where you turn there are signs in ur face that say “SMILE YOUR ON CAMERA” which I think is kind of passive aggressive. The person checking me out Chris asked me to show him where I found the rock with the incorrect price on it (the price was only $10 off BTW)… I think they should have honored the price that was on there but there was no arguing with them. Really horrible customer experience overall. Because of this alone I will not be returning. I didn’t get the guys name at the door with the awful gross long hair but the a*hole that checked me outside name was Chris.
Took my friend and her son to visit this place. Strange how so much healing qualities of rocks is immediately dismissed over a mask mandate. Such actions by businesses to over politicize mandates are the core of the destruction of this beautiful country. Not even worth the star to give a review.I pray against this daily and that people will come to their senses in Jesus Mighty Name. This is where true healing is, not in the science of corrupt politicians and business owners.
If you love crystals youll recognize this place is enslaving them.please go to Crystal works. It is the safe haven this place pretends to be And may have starting out but grew money hungry. Heres the truth about natures treasure;TOURIST TRAP. BAD VIBES. OVERPRICED. LOW QUALITY, FAKE ITEMs ,DISHONEST, CREEPY. I had to change this review AGAIN because in their response they state my clelestite was $14 but it was $23 and it crumble and was not in good condition. My opal egg was fake but portrayed as real opal. You can even see in their response how hard theyre trying to work themselves by saying its a woman-owned company like hello Im also a woman? This place also has cameras everywhere saying they are watching you. You have to pay $1 for a paper mask the has been tampered with through a micky mouse stamp spreading more bacteria. again A tourist trap. Blessings to all yo🤘If you do have the money to be paying double the price you should be though I encourage you to save these crystals. Thats the only way I would ever give them business.
Been out of town and hoped things have changed here but it hasn’t. They’re anxious to control you the second you walk in. The pysops jab clinic across the street is manifesting it’s energy to the rocks and it’s employees. Lol. Biggest mistake is to mix your political correctness and virtual signaling on to your business.Common sense says two steps outside your building there is a world without masks. If they believed in their Scientology then they should be protected and don’t need to force others into their china.Oh well. Another Austin business off my list.
Bad energy! Bad Vives 👎They practically attack you upon entry andTried to charge me for a mask and force me to wear it.The employee literally said to when I asked why they still force mask wearing that I would rather be fearful but feel safeSelling spiritual and conscious promoting goods while also pushing the most low vibration there is... fear and compliance. Ill pass.
Hi! I ordered a book from these guys. It shipped fast, and showed up very carefully packaged and in PERFECT condition. I would not hesitate to order online from them any time (Im in Florida). Im absolutely thrilled! This book is hard to find right now and the ones that are available are way over-priced elsewhere. Thank you so much!
There are some beautiful and unique gifts to be found here, gems and minerals of all kinds, statues, figurines, and jewelry. Caveat, I am of the scientific/realist ilk so if you are the same prepare yourself for the pseudoscience peddling that goes on here. They are rocks, minerals and crystals, and although many are quite beautiful they will not align your Chakras cleanse your energy or any other woo-woo talking point youll hear being bandied about. Enjoy nature for what it is its magical (the poetic kind) enough without adding in the fantasy.
I love having my gemstones and crystals on my workspace. Software Engineering can be stressful and involves a lot of problem solving. Ive been more productive, creative, and the crystals are a visual reminder to harness my intelligence, push through challenges, and remain focused on the end goal(s).Also, this store is an experience in itself! I got stuck in a time warp for an hour and a half just browsing through the vast selection of gems and crystals, and I left feeling happy and like Id just been meditating. ⚛️☸️☯️☮️
Natures Treasures resembles a sprawling hands-on museum specializing in beautiful polished rocks; coarse, uncut and unpolished geodes in mounds resembling dinosaur nests; & fossils of creatures from millions of years ago. One fossilized jaw has teeth the size of my fist yet at their ends sharp as needles. Im just a curious layman, so I cant imagine what joy an amateur collector or a professional geologist or paleontologist has in this place. The principal store is in the old Academy Surplus building on the northbound service road of I-35 just south of where the light rail crosses the Interstate, but they have enjoyed success and grown to occupy a trail, banked by heaps of rough stones, that leads to the building next door. The main building is the showcase with the extraordinary pieces that capture eye and imagination in one fell swoop. I could easily work these rocks into my landscape or the walls of a stonework house. The building at the north end, a friendly clerk told me, is the nerdy part where the most serious collectors will find the most arcane pieces.
Was really looking forward to checking this place out. As soon as I walked in a staff member told me they were closing in 25 minutes. I get it if I walk in 5-10 minutes before close, but don’t rush me out in the last half hour. This is infuriating and rude. Maybe staff could offer to help me find what I’m looking for, or direct me to something instead of telling me they’re closing in 25 minutes.
Food was great, atmosphere was great, prices were great... The service was slow but we did sit in bar area instead of waiting on a table, not sure if that made a difference. We will be back :) They do not take reservations and the wait is long if you get there past 5pm (we went on a Saturday at 4). They do have valet. We had the salisbury steak and chicken waffles.
Went into this store today and was highly disappointed.I’ve spent a significant amount of money in this store over many years and never batted an eye twice. I have enjoyed supporting them!Today was a different story.Upon walking in, they have a woman playing gate keeper; she immediately put her hands up and with wide, terrified eyes said “you need a mask”. I had it in my hands to put on, it was a bit of an over reaction. Then, they measured my purse and said I wasn’t allowed to carry it, instead they wanted to hold it behind the counter. So, they suspect I’m going to steal from them and in the same breath expect me to trust them. That doesn’t compute.I was very close to complying with all their requests, just out of love for their products. However, I couldn’t do it. Imagine a world where ALL stores treat you, the paying customer, like that! As if you’re not only going to steal from them, but make them sick too. This place is amazing, but the people running it have gone too far.Support businesses that support your right to choose. You should get to choose how to live (face mask or no mask) and be granted trust that you’re a well intending person whom is there to support them with your hard earned money (set up an alarm system like other retail stores if necessary). It’s unfortunate people have stolen from them in the past, but I’m sure that’s the minority of the patrons whom come through the store. It won’t be that way for long though. Respectable people command respect, something this store is now lacking.
It was a magical experience entering the shop, looking around at all the different types of rocks. Once you get to the back you realize that the journey continues outside and in the rock depot next door. I could spend hours looking through all the treasures that are inside this place. Definitely check it out if you have not gotten around to it yet.
Their paranoia far outweighs my desire to spend money here. Treating customers like a pariah for wanting to breathe oxygen freely and not be relegated to back of the bus “online shopping” isn’t exactly best business practice. Other crystal shops welcome us warmly, and they’ll get our money instead.
The attitude of the staff is so off-putting. Theyre pretentious and annoyed with any questions. My boyfriend and I try to always give everyone a second chance. Weve gone 5 separate times and finally we realized that the toxic energy was the exact opposite of what we wanted to feel when trying to pick out crystals, stones etc. As well as that affecting the stones themselves.
I came here a few weeks ago with my aunt, cousin, and my two younger sibling during Spring Break. It was my first ever time to enter a crystal shop and I was so excited. The workers were so nice and helpful. The entire store setup was beautiful and just amazing. We didnt realize how big the store actually was till we walked through it all. We purchased alot of stuff and had so much fun exploring this store. Although I dont live near Austin, whenever I pass through again Ill definitely be going back there!
Disappointed that you can no longer bring a purse into store. Seems simple but being accosted at the door creates really bad energy from a place I used to go to find things that helped cleanse that type of negative energy. I ended to surrendering my bag but could not escape the energy and ended up turning around a leaving without the intended purchases. Hopefully they will begin trusting their 20 year patrons again soon.
I ordered an assortment of crystals online recently, and I couldn’t resist doing a little photo shoot with my haul! The crystals came in labeled bags (shout-out to whoever put a little heart on the caramel Jasper bag), and they even threw in a little bonus bag of three random tumbles. I’m looking forward to stopping by in person once I’m able to do so.
I think the people who have a problem about the security of this place, are just a little in their feelings over nothing at all. I’m an autistic spiritual business owner that just moved here, so I needed to find a store like this here. When I found it online, I was so amazed by how big it was that I headed straight there. It wasn’t until I pulled into the driveway that I thought about reading reviews, which is something i do for almost everywhere I go. Once I saw the reviews i almost turned around SO FAST but then I said to myself, why be difficult when I can just take my wallet out of my bag before I walk in, put my phone in my pocket and have my purse ready to give them when I walk in? If they have all those security measures, I’m sure they have been wronged many times in the past. I walked in, wallet and phone in one hand and purse in the other lol. The woman in the front asked me for hand sanitizer which I feel like is smart since austin has been hit with a huge number of covid cases. I gave her my purse and shopped without even noticing any signs mentioned in reviews. I guess I was so focused on shopping lol. When I left, the woman in the front gave me my purse and told me to have a great day. She wasn’t rude and I could actually tell she smiled when she said it. I will definitely be an returning customer here and I need to give myself a budget next time I go in since it’s easy to get carried away😅
Lots of cool rocks, geodes, fossils and such. Very expensive rocks. There was a lady doing tarot readings, if youre into that. I can find interesting rocks on the street, so this place doesnt do anything for me. My wife liked it. spent $28 to get two little rocks. Easy come, easy go.
Two tries to come here, two terrible experiences.Trip one: we couldn’t park our truck and trailer here even though there were many open spots and the staff was rude and told us to park in a neighborhood and walk back.Trip two: I’m told I can’t bring my small purse in. The employee was nice but asked me to leave it in the car (no thanks, I don’t need it stolen) or I can leave it at the counter. If YOU don’t trust me with a purse, why would I trust YOU with MY purse?!I’ve never been able to even see the merchandise in this store. I love rocks and crystals and we support a variety of small businesses across Texas. The experiences here have made me want to never come back or support this place.
I had a great time visiting this crystal shop. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I loved that they offered hand sanitizer and required masks. I like how they take the safety of their employees and customers very seriously. The prices were also very reasonable. If crystals and spirituality is important to you, check this place out!
Lovely store, awesome employees! We took a chance and stopped by on our thru Austin and we were definitely not disappointed. If you are looking for unfinished rocks, visit the rock depot first and take a big bucket and plan to spend and hour or two. Their selection... rocks! 😁
Honestly…such a shame the people at this place have such low vibes. Most of us coming here are positive energy individuals. As an eclectic, it’s a problem when i enter in a store to purchase things for my practice and im met with passive aggressive, fake, and for the most part, outwardly rude employees. Like you work around thousands of CRYSTALS how can you be in such a negative mood? Not only have i experienced attitudes, I’ve witnessed it happen to other customers countless times. You know it’s a problem when you and almost every single one of your spiritual friends dreads going there but goes anyways cause they need some crystals for their practice. I’ve moved most of my purchases to online small businesses and only come here when i need something that i can’t wait for in the mail. Do better. Be better. No reason this place shouldn’t employ people who spread their positive energy instead of clearly miserable employees.
The constant reminder not to steal ruins the entire experience.*UpdateDear Karen,No thank you. I do not wish to hear why you feel it necessary to have your walls and displays covered in do not steal signs. They are literally everywhere. I get that a business would want to protect its merchandise from theft, but the way its done in your store is total overkill. The constant reminders ruin the good feelings people might have had about patronizing your business. You might have all the best intentions, but my review is not the only one that has made similar criticisms. This is an obvious problem, and its likely costing you business. If you dont care to listen to the public opinion, thats fine. You reap what you sow.
My first time here upon entry I got a negative vibe. Lets start with the rude loud mouth girl at the door. I am happy that they are making sure everyone wears a mask, but the door person is just rude! The store itself is very large and they do have a lot to offer. So Im sure whatever you are looking for you will find here. I stood in line and watched the lady at the door basically accuse someone of stealing, making a scene. This person did have a receipt and the check out person did scream over and say yes they purchased it. How do you just start profiling people at the door? How about you just check everyones receipt before they exit instead of accusing people, and putting on a show. Im sorry I will not be returning here, all that negativity is probably pouring in your products that I will not be taking home. This whole store needs to be cleansed along with your employees. There are plenty of crystal shops around town, that I would rather spend my money at. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
I love natures treasures! Sometimes I dont always agree with the price but I dont know what the process was to get the stones from their source of origin to the shelves so I dont particularly mind paying extra. If you are anti-vaxx and refuse to follow guidelines or are even upset to comply with store policy than nobody wants you in the store anyways. Youre the ones bringing negative vibes up in here. The staff is quite busy moving around assisting people and checking peoples things. Very attentive and as quick as they can be with the huge influx of people coming into the store. It does get busy but thats okay. Patience is a good thing to have in todays world. The quality of the crystals is amazing and the events they have are so cool. They change out whats on display often enough where it stays interesting. They have labels on the crystals so you can see where they came from. Sometimes people pick them off though. Kids too. Overall a wonderful metaphysical store to go to in Austin. Parking is a mess sometimes though.
Not the friendliest place. They also require masks, and if you dont have one, they force you to buy one of the generic cheap ones for $1. They have basically a bouncer who greets you only with a strict monotone sanitizer for your hands?! 😠Although the actual staff members are very knowledgeable, overall the customer service is very bad and the environment didnt feel very welcoming and they treated me as if I was a walking COVID-19 piece of trash that must be santized and reminded of my filth every step of the store with passive-aggressive signs. Not an ideal place for spiritual people, very bad energy here...
Its safe to call this place a shrine of faux hippie capitalism.$1 Masks sold at the door (and required for entry)? Check!Employees watching you like a hawk and no shoplifting signs plastered on every surface? Check!Obscene markups on stones and crystals you can find for 1/4th of the price online? Check!Just enough metaphysical do-dads to lend an air of credibility? Check! If youre looking to buy these sorts of items, there are countless vendors where you can find the exact same gems and crystals at a fraction of the cost. Take a weekend trip to Arkansas if you can. Youll leave with superior quality, break even with the cost of a hotel, and get some scenic beauty. If youre just looking to kill a half hour while browsing some items, it might be worth the tacit $1 cost of admission per person -- provided you dont mind that eerie feeling of being watched from all corners of the room.I cannot, in good conscience, suggest anyone to spend their money here.
So for one, everything here is EXTREMELY over priced. I have found better and bigger things for cheaper elsewhere. Also the staff rang my order up before I was even done purchasing and I wanted to switch something out on my $600 order. They informed me that they had already billed me and I couldn’t do that so they refunded me, well refunds that large take DAYS to come back to the account so I couldn’t even REBUY my transaction because they didn’t know how to just charge me the difference instead. so now I drove 2 hours both ways to come home empty handed. They weren’t very nice either when it came to making any sort of resolution and I won’t be coming back. I recommend saving your money and going elsewhere, where they treat you as a customer rather than a dollar sign.
Incredibly overpriced, It feels like they’re trying to take advantage of their customers. Been to many metaphysical crystal shops, only time I can justify the over pricing is when I’m at the mall. Their “clearance” section is just junk, with broken items. Made me wonder why there were still products on the shelves that clearly had chips or cracks in it marked full price.. in the smaller section of the store there’s a minimum weight limit on how much you’re able to buy which I thought was stupid. Didn’t buy anything, honestly upset I supported the business with my $2 mask purchase to look around and be disappointed. Before going in I was reading reviews and seen many people talk about the energy in the store and was actually surprised when my both my boyfriend and I made comments on feeling the negative energy in the shop.
They have many items, but the place creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. Theres a no purse policy, what am I a child? They are SO paranoid about stealing, that you either have to check your bag at the counter or put it in your car. If that isnt enough, theres signs posted to remind you not to steal or break things. I really didnt even feel like purchasing. It felt as sterile and oppressive as a christian bookstore.
On the depot side, the bins of the rocks have minimum weights, but no scales to weigh them as you browse. The bins also have multiple types of rocks (not just the type that is labeled) in them so when I went to the counter with rocks of the same color that I pulled from one bin, they separated them to different types of rock and told me I didn’t meet the minimum weight. They told me they’d have to charge me the price of the minimum weight required for each type of stone they identified, even though the stones I pulled were supposedly all one type according to the bin I got them. After I purchased what I wanted, one of the employees literally shoo’d me out of the store, with hand motions and everything. I found that very rude and unnecessary, since we were literally grabbing our stuff to leave already and we’re just putting our purchases away in my backpack before we left the store.
If you want a rock shop for beginners this is your spot. Lots of common rocks and minerals available but for me the selection was pretty lacking. The lighting is also pretty bad in here so it was hard to see the intricacies of each specimen. Im also positive that one of my purchases was crushed while being wrapped and handled by a sales clerk who lacked the delicacy required to handle fragile minerals. Frustrating to say the least. Seems like a great spot to stop if you have kids or are new to collecting.
The greeter at the door was nice and informed us of the mask rule, and I did tell him my sons autistic and has a sensory issue with things on his face. The stores lovely, but then we were approached by a very rude employee basically demanding that my son would need to wear a mask, I explained the sensory issue but utilmately his response was something like, well we cant have him without a mask. We have other means to shop and you can look online, thus it felt like he was kicking us out the store. I hope the employees have a better training on people with disabilities. Because I honestly never experienced something so rudely.
This place gave me really bad energy. all the employees were unwelcoming and to themselves. If you’ve been to any crystal shop there’s a way to connect with customers. also not to mention the prices are horrendous. I also am not aware if the owners are hindu but having hindu god statues around figurines of mermaids and unicorns is extremely offensive. Buddhism and hinduism isn’t a quirky little religion to add to your bohemian lifestyle. overall really strange and made me feel uncomfortable. don’t recommend it.
Low on staff and long lines. The 1 or 2 staff that is there is very nice and do a great job. Owner needs to hire more for the prices they charge. Some people just left without purchasing due to the long lines. And the AC is poor so you sweet while in line for 30 mins. Ill buy gems online from now on.
Cool selection to choose from. Personally I feel like the crystals are overpriced (for example some small tumbled stones here cost around $8-10 where as I find find a larger piece of the same stone for $3-5 in other places.) The staff were friendly and helpful friendly during my visit. I enjoyed the fact there were other items I find had a reasonable price such as the wind chimes, etc. Which I did end up getting 1. All in all, the price of the crystals in comparison to other places is the reason I won’t be purchasing crystals from here. 3/5
I went in with my girlfriend to pick up an online order since there was no curbside parking. As soon as we walked in we immediately felt uneasy because of the bad vibes. The employees were not friendly or at least what I’m used to. We decided to look around for a bit before getting the online order since we’ve never been inside. We waited a few minutes near employees who were chatting before they finally decided to ask if we needed anything. When we told them we had an online order it felt like we inconvenienced them. Then we had to wait 10 minutes while we felt like we were being watched the whole time. Overall just a bad experience and I never want to go again.
My little ones and I immensely enjoyed the store on the left where you can buy in bulk. We purchased a ton of geodes to bring home for the girls to break open with their friends and it turned into a great learning experience for children aged 10 thru 15. I was disappointed that most geodes were so small that it was difficult not to shatter them when breaking them open, but we were extremely happy with the beauty of them all. After purchasing geodes we went to the other store located on the right side and after a grueling, hot and long wait we finally gained entry to the store. This was actually our second visit because the first time we visited we werent able to enter one store nor able to go out into the yard because they were closing in 15 minutes. So, after browsing we took our few good and affordable finds to the checkout line. Where we spent over 45 minutes waiting for one of the two registers to become available. Not sure if they lack the actual registers or if its mainly due to how they ring up items, but I dont feel a follow up trip worth that type of wait ever again unfortunately especially after the extremely long wait time already spent waiting to enter the store... There were plenty of employees available for questions and all seemed quite knowledgeable when asked questions, they just werent involved in the check out process despite the obvious need for it.
I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before, but I feel the need to leave one now. I went to natures treasures yesterday with the intent on looking at, and buying a couple rings. As I was looking through the rings, the worker seemed extremely frustrated after five minutes. She asked if I needed help, and I told her I “kinda” liked one of the rings but I wasn’t sure yet. She took the ring and put it behind the counter and said it’ll be ready for me when I go to check out. I told her I wasn’t sure about it yet and I’m still looking. She then took ALL of the rings and put them back in the glass case and said “I’m going to put these up.” I was unable to look at them any longer and unable to try any on.She made it clear she was annoyed with me for looking at the rings for 5 or so minutes, made me feel rushed, and unwelcome.Another worker also made my husband feel unwelcome because my child (one year old) was antsy and wanted to get down and walk, to the point my husband decided to go wait in the car until I was done.I don’t recommend this place, they have great items but unfortunately the workers are rude and seem like they don’t want you there.
I wanted to shop local today at Natures Treasures since I have been going there since the charming south local.Upon entry the vibe and following interactions were NEGATIVE. I am wondering if that energy is imparted into the stones I purchased there.?. I wanted to buy more but could not stay for the energy. The sad mask culture too....
If you love rocks crystals and minerals and some spectacular jewelry then this is the place to go! They have everything! The friendly staff really no all about the crystals and can help you with any of your questions. Its a must-see of beautiful pieces natural creations. It is a must-see!
Things are a little pricey but the quality is excellent. The incense doesn’t curl when burning (a sign of good quality) The bundles of herbs to use for burning doesn’t smell like cigarettes which is also good. And the options to buy stones, and any other tool or accessories that you need for spiritual growth or hobby are endless. The customer service is also excellent, the vibes that you get from the people who works here are so calming and welcoming. Thank you.
I normally do not feel compelled to leave reviews but this place has progressively gotten unbearable. It used to have employees who were eager to help and whom were quite knowledgeable. Now it seems everyone there is disgruntled and emits unwelcoming energy which is pretty much the opposite of what you want to encounter at a metaphysical store. Even when you phone them to ask a totally normal question you are met with either ignorance or exasperation. I have also sent friends there whom came back with the same feedback. It is truly sad because it used to be a lovely place.
I dont like the fact that I came in yesterday 10/27 and bought bracelet, today I returned it and bought a different one and the guy would not stamp my cart as if I went in two times in 2 days bcoz He said since i am returning meant I didnt buy anything yesterday. So he would only stamp my card once. What the heck, i said fine.Didnt like his tone of reasoning.
First time customer. Fantastic place. Lots of little treasures and things you didn’t know you needed. The staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the merchandise. Devin was patient and helpful with the whole experience, and informed me she had all the time to give so I shouldn’t feel rushed when choosing my tools. The Apache warrior that took my money had a powerful aura that reminded me of the stories I read as a kid of the fierce natives that fought so hard to protect their land from the inevitable March of the white mans “Progress”.Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend you stop in. Just have some time on your hands👍🏻👍🏻
When I first came here, there was lines outside on the sidewalk that we were supposed to stand behind. When people didn’t understand that, the lady at the front came out and yelled at us saying we might get hit by a car if we didn’t stand behind the tape. When we went inside, everything was super overpriced(ex: a small tumbled malachite was 7 dollars, where you can find one in other stores for about 2-6 dollars.) Every employee seemed super unwelcoming and didn’t look like they wanted to be there except for about one. Overall got a super unwelcoming vibe, and will not be coming here again. The good part about the store though, is that they were really uptight about keeping the store sanitary and safe for customers.
My husband and I decided to go here on a Sunday. He is the gem, crystal, stone collector, I also have a few of my own. The staff there are courteous friendly and super helpful. Its a wonderful place. Get there earlier in the day to skip the line (due to covid-19) to get in. And if you bring your children make sure they are at arms length, we brought our 3 year old with us and she was very respectful, and gentle. I had a specific question about a stone and they helped me so much. Thanks natures treasures.
The products were extremely overpriced and the staff is abysmal. The girl at the front offering people hand sanitizer did nothing but sit on her phone and give a half hearted welcome. It was as if she was annoyed by customers walking into the store because it interrupted her using her phone. There was no assistance offered to anyone by employees. The cashier, a man with pink hair (my memory on this isn’t exact, if it wasn’t pink it was a light color) was unbelievably rude to me and everyone else in line. The line itself was extremely unclear, everyone waiting was confused as to who was going next, and when someone asked the man with pink hair at the register how the line was supposed to work, he rudely talked down in a snarky tone to everyone and said we were supposed to be standing behind taped lines that were for social distancing. No normal person would’ve been able to infer that, especially because the tape was in the middle of merchandise that other shoppers were standing in, adding to the line confusion. After everyone organized themselves into their ridiculous line (i appreciate the social distancing effort but this just didn’t work), I found myself at the front with my boyfriend who I was extremely excited to show this unique store to. There were two men behind the counter, the man with pink hair was helping someone, and since the line was so unclear, I said that I was ready to check out, because I assumed the other man who was standing there next to him doing nothing was also a cashier. The man with pink hair rudely looked up, snapped at me, rolled his eyes, and said in the same snarky tone “Can’t you see I’m helping someone you need to wait your turn” (This is a quote from memory so it is not 100% accurate!). I haven’t been met with this much disrespect by an employee I was being so polite to in as long as I can remember. This may seem like a small occurrence but this man’s behavior towards myself and everyone else waiting in line was completely uncalled for. I waited there for a couple minutes until I decided that this man (who was incredibly slow at running the register), this business, and their overpriced products were not worth my time. So I left the line, placed all of the products back in their respective spots, and thanked the girl at the front, because that’s basic decency, which the workers at this store cannot seem to understand. I gave this place two stars because there was not a single person wearing a mask incorrectly and social distancing was enforced, which is hard to find in many businesses at this point in the pandemic. I’ve never written a review before, but this experience absolutely deserved one. Do not come here unless you want horrible service and overpriced rocks you’d be much better off finding online (or, go outside and find a cool rock you like, those are completely free and you don’t have to deal with awful employees!!!)
I came into Natures treasures happy and ready to buy and left furious. They are requiring masks which I have no problem wearing but not only do they charge you $1 PLUS TAX for a cheap mask that they undoubtably buy in bulk on Amazon, they also require you to wait in LINE to pay for it. I came at an especially busy time so I had to wait for 10 mins just to buy a mask that broke immediately after I paid for it. The lady waiting at the front was INCREDIBLY rude to me about the situation and was completely unwilling to help me and had her nose in her phone the entire time I was there. I offered to leave the money on the counter but they told me I MUST WAIT IN LINE. I come here often, but the lack of respect for my time has completely ruined my experience.
Attempted to stop in, but the amount of trash, dirty diaper, and ‘masks required’ sign on the door made me realize the owners are than likely spiritual grifters. Demanding your customers muzzle themselves while you’ve made zero attempt at maintaining cleanliness makes it obvious you don’t think for yourselves, have zero concept about health and spirituality, and have probably taken the vaccine. You are paving the road to communism with crystals and ignorance.
There was a lady in the front checkout area with a super lazy attitude and her service was not great. However I do like this place a lot. I wish I had more time to spend here. I like the area where you can buy outside by the weight of the mineral you’re looking to get. Reasonable prices. I don’t however endorse the spreading of mineral healing powers, because that’s not proven science. But there’s really cool fossils and crystals you can get!!
I’m almost a weekly customer of Nature’s Treasures and can say my love for this store is like no other, I typically leave with much more than I intended on getting considering the properties every rock has. I went yesterday to get a couple pendulums along with a few other crystals and hardly made it to my car before the pendulums dropped and both broke. The tags were still on them and they were still in the bag so I went back inside to see if they could do anything about it. I asked for a manager who then proceeded to tell me she couldn’t do anything about it even though I hadn’t even left the property. I was upset considering their properties weren’t as strong and one of them snapped completely in half which would prove inoperable. She told me she could give me a 10% discount on my next purchase and I had JUST used a 15% off discount punch card on this purchase. I told her that would be wonderful considering there was nothing else they could do and she told me I could use some glue when I got home. I go to this store for spiritual purposes and the customer service I received was not what I expected considering this is a metaphysical shop. Every crystal I buy here is extremely important to me and it was upsetting their customers are not as important to them.
The customer service here is terrible. I had an online order that was ready for pick up but i wanted to go inside to purchase another item and when I did i was addressed by a young man that was very rude to me. He told me next time drive around back to receive your order. I was a first time customer here and I wont be returning. The customer service that young man gave me was poor. Also I was over charged when ordering online I bought some little tumbled stones thats 50 cents inside the store and I was charged 2.99 for each online. The woman thats sitting at the door when you first enter she is very polite and she also has great customer service. For the young man who treated me poorly yesterday just know I wont be returning. I had to ask him I didnt know you all wasnt allowing customers inside the store he treated me really bad. I had my mask on as i was talking to him he say can you pull your mask up more so now my mask is almost covering my eyes at this moment. Very rude and poor customer service. I was a first timer and wont be returning just because I was treated so poorly.
This is one of my favorite places to come and spend some time. They have a huge selection of rocks, crystals, jewelry, and incense. They also have a nice selection of clothing and bags. They have quite a few singing bowls, which are next on my list. The employees have always been extremely helpful and are always willing to help you find the right crystals for your needs. I could spend all day here. They also offer a few services such as readings and aura photography. I really like this place.
Such a cool place! I had a great time wandering the store, which was quite large compared to other crystal shops Ive been to. I bought several crystals at prices I thought were pretty reasonable. I did not get a chance to visit the outdoor selection but I definitely plan to go back. I liked that for the popular crystals, they offered a range of prices so that no matter your budget, you could get quality pieces. I could have spent another hour in there at least.
This place is overpriced and they only let 18 people in at a time which is unreasonable. There is plenty of space in there for more than that and you would still be able to social distance. So after you wait an hour or so in line, there is no public restroom (at least they let you know about all their rules in advance - there’s a big sign at the door with all the rules and regulations). I would definitely skip this place, it was a waste of time.
I have been looking forward to visiting natures treasures for a while now. I live out of town and made a trip to Austin. I was so excited to finally shop here. This store has everything and more & so much to choose from. Sadly I was very disappointed at the customer service. It wasnt welcoming, nobody asked me if there was anything I was specifically looking for. This was my first time here so I was lost. I had some questions so I asked the girl at the register and she was rude. Gave short answers and made me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about. I hate writing bad reviews but my experience here was not what I expected.
Great place for stones and crystals. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Love this place. The selection is ridiculously expansive and I cant say enough about the staff. On my most recent exploration, the entire staff was great, but one stood out in my mind. Sam went above and beyond to assist me in finding particular things on my list, and showing me other things he knew Id be interested in seeing. He made me feel at ease and welcomed. I could spend hours in this store. The only reason I dont is that after handling a number of stones and crystals, I begin to flush and become dizzy and sweaty. It isnt the environment in the building, it is just energy overload I believe. If you have an inkling to visit this store and you have the opportunity, it is a must visit. Feeling blessed to have them available here.
That has a lot of amazing stuff there like love spray(attracts love) and other sprays! The rocks there were so pretty and really really big. Some of the stuff was really expensive,I saw something that was 80 something dollars (not surprised)! There was singing bowls, I tried it and it was so cool! There was also much more stuff too! You should definitely go there. Not everything is expensive, theres polished and non polished stuff.
This store is ridiculously awesome! I brought my kids one time a few years ago and they thought I was weird when I told him we were going to a rock store but we ended up spending almost 2 hours here they have the most awesome things. Ive been there a few times since and always end up picking up something really cool. This is a great store to go to for Unique gifts
Nothing like this place anywhere else in town. Theres always an affordable little treasure that I leave with every time I stop in (and once in a while Ill splurge on a larger sparkly beauty). The rock depot section is really cool too (though I havent had occasion to buy from that area yet.) Great store if you like to make your own jewelry or love decorating your altar with little earthy treasures.
This isn’t a pure metaphysical shop. There’s is definitely weird, egotistical energy in this shop. The customer service is not friendly. It seems like people are just in it for the money and not for the good intentions behind it. There’s better crystal shops with more good energy.
By far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced in Texas!! If you want to be treated like a decent customer human being I encourage you not to come to this rock store! I came all the way from San Antonio And I couldnt wait to experience a nice Zen place where I could find dozens of crystals Ive been waiting to purchase. Then was treated very rudely by a cashier with the ponytail! Unfortunately I left and drove home very disappointed. I will not be going back to the store.
Just left there with my wife in tears. The level of disrespect towards her and my son who are deaf and rely on lip reading and sign language to communicate. We completely understand social distance and mask policies as I taken my two youngest to the restroom she had lowered her mask to explain different crystals to my son, when the door person came across the store to demand she raise her mask back up. My wife tried to explain with her disability and his, she needed to lower her mask to allow him to read her lips. The lady wouldn’t even listen to what my wife was trying to tell her. Completely embarrassing her and my son in front of everyone there. Guess according to a previous post they specialize in Zen, guess that doesn’t apply to people with hearing disabilities. Very rude associates, will not be returning. And suggest if you have a hearing disability that you find your “Zen” elsewhere.
I’ve driven by this store so many times growing up in Austin and never stopped to go in. Not sure why because I’ve always wanted to. At 30 years old, I finally went yesterday and was overwhelmed at how much stuff they carry! There was SO MUCH to look at. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and helpful. The only two things I encountered that were somewhat questioning is that I bought a Tiger’s Eye sphere and when I got home I noticed a “made in China” sticker...after researching, Tiger’s Eye is not known to be mined in China so I’m worried about the authenticity of the stone. The other thing was checking out and overhearing (not so much overhearing as they were literally right in front of me checking out my items) talk about their manager in a bad way. Which I understand there are bad managers, I’ve had my fair share, but it’s not appropriate to do that in front of customers. Then it makes me think “ew, why is this type of person running the store? I don’t want to shop here if the employees are treated badly.” Obviously I don’t know the full story but I heard enough of it to think this...
“Face Diaper Central”If you value your rights don’t bother with the Austin traffic going to this place. They are blocking the entrance to this place selling masks for $10 plus if you don’t have one. Such a shame to see this at a place that touts “metaphysical” and “natural” items and to think I used to spend money at this place. Even the best stones couldn’t withstand that level of negativity and paranoia! Now I wouldn’t even take a dump there if they paid me!
Every conceivable them and rocks. Diamonds?? Mabey not.. Ultra, beautyful spiritual store. Parking is at risk. This place is HUGE!! BUT remember, people who live in glass houses, dont throw stones!!! Careful when bringing the kids. You dont want them throwing the rocks and gemstones 😲😎🤲🌈
Editing this review after todays experience.... . It used to be a great place but sadly not anymore. I agree with others saying some employees have a really rude attitude. At the entrance they ask for your purse, just ridiculous!!! leaving my chanel purse ( small just to fit a phone and small wallet) with a clothespins as a security measurement behind their counter on the floor .... I didnt like it . I was there only for few minutes wanted to do shopping but it was stressful to leave my purse like that . 😕 wont be going back anytime soon.(Leaving my purse in my car was not an option) just a bad experience.
Not a fan. While they had alot of great gemstones. the selection of dreamcatchers was awful. Staff had a snobby elite air about them. The non bianary human who helped us lectured my friend after my friend mistook the human for a woman as said human had breasts and long hair. Not returning. Very snobby and impersonal despite staff wanting to be overly personal. I found staff to be very unprofessional despite rude. Live and let live. This was just a transation at a business. the visit totally lowered my friendsand my vibration. Not a good feeling atmophere at all. Depite that we continued to have a great day!
First time shopping at my this store. We enjoyed browsing and selecting different pieces. I approached the counter in the annex room and said “Excuse me” because I had a question, and a male staff person saw me coming and kind of walked away awkwardly. Maybe he was not sure where I was going? Who knows. Anyway, I got my question answered and that was the only interaction with staff I had until I was in the check out line. I didn’t know where to stand at first but a lady with long hair told me where to wait behind another customer. The customer at the counter had a pretty big transaction and she was chatting with the cashier about California and living in OC and how her parents moved to Colorado so she gave them a hard time after they got mad she moved to TX, other random chit chat etc... Which is fine, I am patient and the cashier seemed very friendly. All the while though, the customer was leaning on the glass counter talking closely with the cashier, and the customer had her bottom half of her body sticking out pretty far. That customer was not told to stand behind the blue line as I was when I checked out. The same male staff person who awkwardly walked away earlier was the cashier who checked me out and he told me very clearly to stand behind the blue line during the transaction, which of course I did. But I don’t get why let some customers clearly feel more welcome and allowing them to not only lean on the glass counter, but take up so much space with their body in the narrow walkway? Why make me stand behind the blue line if the customer across from me doesn’t have to? My point is just treat customers the same all around... or maybe because the customer who was allowed to violate their policies, was a light skinned white girl who made a large purchase, she wasn’t told anything? That’s a pretty bold assumption I’m making, but what other reason was there to not enforce their rules towards her? The health of employees and customers are important, according to their signs and replies to other reviews, but only in certain situations, or with certain customers? It does give me pause because I did not see a diverse group of employees. And with me getting treated very differently than other customers (I’m darker skinned than almost everyone shopping at that time), makes me think twice about returning. What an unfortunate but not surprising experience.
Disappointing from waiting a very long time in the heat to gain entrance to finding the pieces worth buying being overpriced. The customer service was wanting as standing once again in line waiting while the couple in front of us took 15 minutes to check out all the while standing at the counter and chit chating with the cashier that appeared could not work a cash register. When we were ready to check out the cashier was rude demanding we step back behind a line while she worked.
I could literally live in this place. When my daughter and I walked in Im pretty sure we looked like a couple kids at Christmas! I mean, this place has everything!! Gorgeous things!! And the lady that checked us out was so knowledgeable. Prices were really good. We will most definitely be back!
Well! You just need to go in there. And take your kids as well or some interesting folks that just like to go into museums and stuff. This place is a One-Stop shop for anything and everything that is Crystals rocks lapidary. They also have the equipment for rock and stone collectors. Museum-quality. And they dont charge admission given the entertainment value of it they probably could. At any rate it is a must-see as far as one of those stories that carries everything catering to the rockhound or Crystal collector. All the accessories and jewelry and stuff... A wide variety of gift items oils and incense. The knowledgeable staff. its just a fun store to visit and educational store to visit a reasonably priced store to visit. If you dont visit the store youre missing out. Like I said its like going to a very well stocked museum it has some really really cool stuff. make it a point to spend an hour or so there you wont be disappointed. I love this place!
Went today to pick up a gift. Typically I have a pretty good experience shopping here, but today a male employee was being less than friendly. The postman delivering mail to the store was told he couldn’t use their bathroom because it was for customers only... really? If I was that postal carrier I would leave their mail in the trash...I walked out and ordered a gift on Amazon. Be Nice... it’s not that hard!!
One of my favorite candy/toy/happy stores! I could lose hours in this store just wandering and looking and touching all the wonderful crystals! I have brought so many friends that we make event days of it and we love it! We always find several soul felt pieces we must have and appreciate the affordable prices so everyone can leave with something :-) The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable and that is super appreciated!
I remember the first time when I walked into this place. I just came from Italy and moved to Texas and I was more then happy to see a place like that and the amazing people who worked their. Everyone was very open and nice and welcoming. That is m,ore than 4 years ago. In the last couple years I was maybe 6 times in there and I must say that the store STILL hold a pretty collection of everything you need. But when I like to listen to Non-Spiritual/Metaphysical/Holistic Music I would go to a Bar or Pub. The stuff has not the same quality anymore like years before. The Energy changed, but this is only my honest opinion.Still, this store is the place to go to when I need supplies because I do not like ordering online. But the intimate connecting is missing ... It could be my age, my experiences.
Quite possibly the worst run store I’ve ever visited. Like other reviewers said, waited an hour to get into an empty store, largely because I had to wait 35 minutes to pay for the few things I found of interest. They have numerous iPads set up for checkout, but only one operating. The majority of people in the store are waiting to check out and it takes an average of 10 minutes per couple for them to ring you up. Numerous employees wishing they had something to do standing around looking bored.
For a shop that should exude positive energy this one sure has a lot of negative and flat out rude ppl working there. When you have a store the size of this one it may help to have more then ONE person checking ppl out...call me crazy but it would probably help along with being friendly and acknowledging customers. The hundreds of signs that say, “To steal is bad Karma”, well being rude and unfriendly is too.
I love the selection of minerals. They have beautiful items available as well. Some staff appears to be friendly and helpful. I did have an experience with one heavy set woman. I was waiting at the counter patiently for assistance. Everyone else was busy, and she wouldnt even acknowledge me. People walked in behind me, she greeted them and continued to ignore me. A gentleman noticed my expression, and immediately came to help me.When it came time to check out, I was standing in line and the woman was checking people out and deep in conversation with another woman being checked out by someone else. She finished her conversation, looked up and saw I was next. Her expression made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. Honestly I have no idea what I had ever done to her to receive such passive aggressive disrespect.I went back the next day, reluctantly, returned to pick up one more item I had forgotten. Thankfully the woman was not there. Apparently since I was a first time customer I was supposed to have been given a coupon for my next visit and a rewards card, none of which was offered by the woman. I did mention my experience to the guy helping me. He did apologize, but didnt seem to want to address the situation or even escalate it to a superior.Honestly, the experience was very uncomfortable. Who wants to feel like a nuisance? Im there to spend money. Im not expecting to be treated like royalty, however I do expect some common decency. I will not likely return unless I absolutely have to.
Oh it was my pleasure! This is a place for any and all to see! I spent 3 hrs in her before my 3 hr drive home. And honestly the only reason I I was pulled out of there totally against my will was because I had to work. But when I have all day to spend in the near future you can bet it will be here!!! I love the diversity that your shop has to offer. The lap equipment tools and ccessories the rough and polished side s of the shop ughh Im still drooling!! Anyways if your a crystal loving rock obsessing hippie loving witch or even if your not its truly a treasure! Natures treasure!! I think even more of this place after receiving your comment. Is rare that owners reply to customers on a personal level. That sentiment makes all the difference in the world! Thank you for putting your heart in your work and customers, It truly shows!
I would ABOSLUTLY clean, clear all products from this place since the operators are holding that fear/draconian energy. -Unbelievable that this business still forces customers to suffocate under a mask, when this is suppose to be a high-frequency place...And its not required nor is anyone else forcing this in restaurants even! I feel so sad for those 5d crystal beings!
We have been coming here for the past few years. agreat experience for people coming into town. You can buy Geodes to break open at home, purchase crystals and minerals in the raw, peruse fossils, and even buy refined, polished, and inset stones. A great experiencw for anyone interested in learning about alternative healing!
Customer service skills need work. I stood idly in line for close to five minutes while two employees rang up and chatted with the customer in front of me. It took about this long for the second employee to ask me if I was ready to check out. To which I answered, “yes, I have a purse on hood”. I proceed to go to the other register to be checked out only to find her having walked back over to say bye to the other customer that was already being helped and chat more. Finally, I gave up on the lovely purse I wanted and walked out. What made it worse is that I told the cashier only minutes prior to please hold the purse and I’d be right back after I charged my phone, as I needed to use Apple Pay. I was trying to check out promptly and the employees seemed to care little about other customers around that were needing assistance. Cute purse, but not worth the lack of customer attention and service.
The staff are very personable and helpful. I absolutely love the energy of the place! It had my whole body buzzing... Really fun vibe to become immersed in. I could spend hours shopping around as they have so many different rocks & gems which are beautiful and in a variety of shapes, sizes, uses, and prices.
Rocks and stones and gems Oh My! Great place for it if the ordinary gifts and treasures. If youre into rocks for decorating (think garden) or jewelry making this is your place. If you want ready made goods, pendants, earrings, etc this is your place. Staff is super knowledgeable about the properties of their wares. Great place.
Best rock/crystal shop in Austin.... never mind that its the only one of any size in the city. Seriously though, Ive shopped this store in all its previous locations, and it just continues to grow and never disappoint. I always find something I need. Great for my collection, bad for my wallet....
🤠 I drove here from Houston to visit the area and shop here one day I was very tired when I got there to the shop. I spent a good 45 minutes to an hour looking around and buying stuff💰. But the most strangest thing ever happened to me in my life when I left🚗. I had energy to drive back to Houston I thought I would need to get a nap somewhere but I didn’t. This is a very special place it has a very special spirit to it. 👉I was just reading an overview that it is Women lead. That’s great; but what about the men🏴☠️ Do men work there???🏋️♀️
Upon returning to Natures Treasures to pave a visit, I found that the place has changed. While it is true that the folks who served the store are helpful, they have lost their friendliness as I noticed more and more times, I was not always greeted or even talked to. Furthermore, some of the services that the psychics at their location offers was great (in fact, Thumper was one of my favorite psychics) and they tried their best to be up-to-par, but I found that the price they set is higher than expected. When they set with higher prices, it means they will do better. Right? Not always the case. i found that it is more like a hit or miss scenario and I wish there is a way to correct that when they can deliver better values like finding a way to remove multiple blockages in my own thought process or even receiving my ancestral messages faster. Overall, I still love the place and I just wish that they do things much better for the services they have because as a resident from Olympia, Washington, I found many of the services at the city are not only better in quality, but also more affordable for psychic services.P.S I still love how the stones are still in quality at the store and I would still try to buy something there instead. When I came back today to check on the rocks, they are still in top, raw quality (which means they came straight out of nature and not something that is just imported from China or manufactured) they were in my last visit. In fact, it is even better than the ones I found in Olympia. So keep up that good work while working on the things I mentioned above.
This is a MASSIVE rock shop and has pretty much every type of stone or rock you can possibly want. My family and I always swing by here when were in Austin. And we always end up staying a couple of hours. There is so much to see and so much to buy lol. The staff is so friendly, helpful and full of knowledge! Which I appreciate because Im always asking questions about something! If youre looking for a great rock shop, you wont have to look further than Natures Treasures!
This place was absolutely amazing, we went in expecting to look at some rocks but it was so much more than that, all kinds of beautiful stones and gems of every color. We could have spent many hours here if we had the time. Literally the best gems and mineral place we have ever been to and the staff couldnt have been kinder, wonderful experience!
Honestly this place really is a treasure on its own. Some of the deals, and the variety of jewelry is hard to find anywhere else. And now that Ive moved out of the area its aparent that theres not enough stores around like this. Keep it up, the world needs more natures treasures.
Loved the crystals. Did not like the customers service whatsoever. There was multiple times where I was standing feet away from an employee and they said nothing to me.Edited review:Ive gone by natures treasures a few more times to get a better idea of their customer service. Theyre still not the absolute best, but some newly hired people are mad decent with customer service. Definitely one of my favorite places to spend money regardless of the service.

2022-03-23As a frequent customer I was shocked to see all the one star reviews, then after reading them quickly realized it was people being rather selfish about the security and health measures taken. The store is quite large (especially compared to other crystal shops I’ve been to) so the security measures make sense, and as a immune system impaired person I appreciated the mask mandate.Sure, some of the items are quite pricey for what they are- but there is quite a large amount of items that aren’t as well.I can always find a collection of beautiful crystals for good prices when I come in, and appreciate the bulk section of the store as well for my crafting needs. They have a selection of labeled tumbles, some raw crystals here and there, refined towers, points, spheres, clusters, wands, statement pieces- basically a bit of everything!Additionally- as an autistic, queer non-binary person the staff were very respectful.I recently went here for the third time and found some onyx beauties to take home!

2021-07-20This place definitely lives up to its slogan of “We Rock”! I have been to several rock and crystal stores in various different states and this is by far my favorite because of the variety and expansiveness of the store. They have something for every budget and their tumbled rock prices are some of the most reasonable that I have seen. The raw rock depot has such a large variety of beautiful specimens as does the crystal section of the store. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They take precautions with sanitizing which is appreciated since one of the main perks of the store is touching and feeling the beautiful specimens. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out whether you are a rock enthusiast or just someone who appreciates nature!

2022-05-27I own a local bike shop and purchased multiple gift for my wife here. It was so great to be able to have it delivered locally in one day! It came carefully wrapped and the whole experience was uplifting. The online store staff was responsive and helpful. It felt great to support another local business that helps to promote the health of our community. I rarely have the time to go shop so the convenience of the online store is a lifeline to rad gifts for my beautiful wife.

2022-08-10Anytime Im in Texas, I must try and visit this amazing store. You can spend all day, exploring the merchandise, from polished rocks to raw rocks and everything in between for you spiritual journey. Book a session with different spiritual modalities from Astrology to Mediums, cards reads. Its always worth a visit. This trip my rating was based on a employees attitude, which wasnt too bad and we all have off days.

2022-03-24I just want to thank all the wonderful human beings at Natures Treasures. My sister had a really rough week and got news of her father in law passed away when we were just finished shopping. They were all very sweet, helpful, kind and professional. Me and my sister have worked in customer service for years and this was the best experience weve had in a very long time. Special thanks to Heather and Tori. Yall were so sweet, and great to talk to. Amazing service!!!

2022-07-01Wonderful place, pricing is reasonable, could walk through and look at items for hours! So many different things to look at and admire! Also great hands on learning resource from their books to the huge rock pits if wanting help identifying and differentiating between all types of rocks! I would give this place an A+++ !

2022-06-06I agree with a lot of these reviews, the energy of the store wasn’t pleasant due to the staff. One guy kept popping up near me, especially when I was in the back corner of the store. It’s very uncomfortable know the staff is looking at you like a potential thief. They were also rather cold and only wanted to help if you looked like them. I didn’t feel welcome, which is the opposite of what I’d expect at this kind of store. I would deal with the rude staff if the prices were great, but I can find everything online for much cheaper.

2022-07-29Super nice guys and very patient with our questions. Honestly, I never thought rocks would be so interesting but I walked away like I felt recharged...it was a calming effect. Really enjoyed my visit, and now I have a great sense of appreciation for rocks.

2022-03-12I USED to love this place but now they promote fear by making you buy their mask at the door even though other places no longer require them and even limit the size of bag you can carry in. The energy of the store is yucky. Clerks USED to be light and knowledgeable. This will be my last time here.
