My wife and I worked with Nikk to have photos taken on our wedding day! From beginning to end, he was nothing short of phenomenal! Getting information was easy, our consultation was comfortable, and everything went perfectly on the big day! He asked questions, made sure any specific photos we wanted were taken, and used his artistic expertise to make sure everything came out beautifully! I am so glad we went Nikk as our wedding photographer!!! I will cherish these photos for a life time! Nikk really went above and beyond on our wedding day. Nikk was absolutely wonderful through the entire process. Our wedding happened pretty quickly, we had about 4 months to plan and I was just crossing my fingers to find a photographer on such short notice. Thankfully Nikk was available and he is exactly who I wanted! He took the time to get to know us and our style, knowing how nervous we are in front of the camera, he made everything feel easy and we have so many beautiful pictures as proof. My husband and I couldnt be happier to have worked with Nikk and his team. We first met Nikk a year earlier when he photographed my sisters wedding. After seeing how professional, easy-going, and overall great Nikk was to work with, we knew that we would want him to be part of our special day. Due to a tight schedule, Nikk could not capture our day, so he suggested we utilize his associate program, where one of his highly skilled associate photographers captured our wedding instead. While, at first, we were a bit nervous, Nikk reassured us that our photographer would be great and that Nikk would still handle all of the edits. Nikk made us feel so comfortable with this whole idea, and we decided to move forward, and we are so happy we did. Working with Nikk was a great experience. We hired him for our engagement photos and used one of his associates for our wedding day. My husband and I were both nervous for our engagement photos, but he made the experience light-hearted and natural. The associate photographer who worked with us on our wedding day was very friendly and captured great photos (which Nikk edits themselves). Nikk was the first vendor we booked after finding our venue and date. We knew we wanted somebody who would be able to capture us naturally - and in the most beautiful way. He was always very quick to respond even though he is crazy busy! We had never taken professional photos before our engagement session with Nikk. He was so calm and made us feel relaxed in front of the camera. These were our most favorite photos to date. We were also lucky enough to have Nikk photograph our wedding with his amazing and sweet second shooter, Riley. 9 hours is a long day, and he knew exactly where to be at the right time. He honored every little last minute request and was truly a ninja with how he was everywhere, but not in an invading way the whole night. Nikk was again so calm and patient - even with our most passionate family members(I cannot stress enough how this was such a breath of fresh air, especially with our very large extended family coming at us from all angles at times). We will never be able to thank him enough for treating us and our family with such care. Nikk was for us the whole day, and made us feel so special. We will be sharing these photos for the rest of our lives and we could not have picked a better person to capture our love story or share our day with. 11.21.2021 was the best day ever.

Nikk was one of the VERY first decisions we made for our wedding and for good reason! This is because we were looking at photos of our venue and fell in love with them. Turns out all of our favorites were Nikk’s photos and right then and there, we knew we wanted him as our photographer. He was a true professional throughout the entire process and his direction made everyone feel at ease, making it very easy to have a good time and focus on the festivities. It’s hard to describe what makes his photos unique but all I can say is, when looking at the photos from our wedding day, they evoke and reflect the emotions we felt at the exact moment the photo was taken. Nikk was an excellent photographer for our wedding. We only had our immediate families attending, for a courthouse ceremony and a private dinner afterwards, and the photos beautifully reflect the intimacy of the day. Leading up to the wedding, we appreciated that Nikk encouraged as little or as much communication as we desired, which with everything else going on was much appreciated. On the day of, he was timely, professional and courteous, and guided us around town to some great spots for photos that we certainly wouldn’t have thought of on our own. We picked Nikk for our wedding because we loved the light and tones in his photography. During our virtual interview with him we also loved his demeanor and his approach! The day of our wedding Nikk was on it, always there but never “in your face”. The photos are stunning and he literally captured every moment with zero direction from us, DUH he’s a professional! I’ve heard of brides wanting a set of shots or this and that, my approach was - let the professional do what they do best! And he did not disappoint. My biggest regret is not hiring a videographer but after seeing the moments captured by Nikk my nerves are settled and I am reliving the entire wedding through his photography and the moments he captured. Absolutely in love with the photos😍 the gallery he shared with us is massive and I literally don’t think he missed a beat! Going with Nikk to capture our wedding photos was one of the best choices we made in planning our wedding. Its clear from his website that he is a very talented photographer, but I was blown away when our pictures came in. He captured every single important and special moment from all different angles and perspectives - if I didnt know better, I would have thought there must have been two of him! I have received so many complements on the coloring of the photos, and its true, the way he edits the photos make them so romantic and simply so perfect. Ive been to many weddings where the bride and groom have opted for multiple photographers and/or videographers, and although Im sure the captured result is lovely, it tends to distract from the magic of the moment (for the guest at least, in my opinion). Nikk was unintrusive and was able to create a beautiful story of photographs from start to finish. He was also so helpful, responsive, and flexible when trying to plan the ceremony start time etc. - which is huge when youre trying to juggle a thousand different things to plan a wedding. I couldnt be happier with how the photos turned out, we will cherish them for a lifetime!
Nikk and his associate Lindsey have been wonderful throughout the whole process! Nikk communicated every step of the way making sure we were familiar with the process. We were worried about having to pose for photos - which neither of us are good at, but Lindsey made it fun and casual. She took candid photos of us, our guest and little details, which captured our day perfectly. We couldnt be more grateful!
If there’s one piece of advice you’ll hear while wedding planning, it’s to invest in a great photographer and we’re glad we listened. We were blown away (but not surprised) by how beautifully Nikk captured our day and are so happy that these are OUR photos...for forever. Theyre priceless.We looked at a handful of photographers that had a photojournalistic style and Nikk’s talent was clearly on another level. We asked each of them to share a full gallery from one of their weddings and many were a mix of great and mediocre shots but Nikk’s were perfect storybooks from beginning to end. We booked an engagement shoot because we needed a nice photo for our website and it helped us feel more comfortable and know what to expect on the wedding day. I’m extremely camera shy but he gives good direction and makes the most awkward people look good. He was awesome to work with, made the whole process stress-free, and was really on top of things – crazy quick communication, followed up with us on details, professional but equally laid back, and his turn around times were so much quicker than we expected which was a nice bonus. Cant recommend him enough!
I do not love being in front of the camera. I always get stiff and feel unnatural and uncomfortable so I was definitely nervous about our wedding photos. Nikk put me totally at ease. On our wedding day, his attitude was very relaxed and casual, which was incredibly comforting. He also blended in seamlessly to our small ceremony (20 people) and our larger reception so that we didn’t even know our picture was being taken. He captured the ceremony so perfectly without interrupting or distracting. He got so many good action shots and intimate moments at the reception. And the edits were perfect— every photo looks straight out of a magazine and we could not be happier. We loved having Nikk there on our wedding day and couldn’t have asked for a better gallery of wedding pictures!
If we had to sum him up in only 3 words- above and beyond.When you choose a photographer, you’re choosing someone who is going to capture all the most important moments in your wedding. Nikk and his team did that and more. From our first contact email to the receival of our gallery, he was transparent.Not only is he an honest person, he’s an AMAZING photographer! Nikk was absolutely amazing to work with and so incredibly talented! He was super down to earth and made us both feel comfortable In front of the camera- which I was so worried would be awkward and it wasn’t at all. Nikk worked with us to ensure we got the photos we wanted, and were still able to experience our day 100%, which we did. There are so many amazing pictures from our day that I had no clue he was taking, and are some of my absolute favorites. He was able to capture the vibe and energy of our day so perfectly. I have looked at our gallery daily since we got it and every time I notice another detail or moment I hadn’t noticed before- also SO many amazing dance floor photos. I can’t imaging having my wedding without Nikk as our photographer! My husband and I both chose Nikk as our favorite Austin photographer separate of one another, and after our preliminary call booking him was a no-brainer. We wanted someone who wouldn’t make us pose awkwardly for cheesy photos (although we asked him for plenty of those throughout the evening) and would capture the day naturally as it happened. After receiving our pictures, we’ve talked about how our own perceptions of the wedding have changed to only think about the highlights and fun. The stress of the day isn’t visible at all, and he was able to show us just how much fun we and our guests were having the whole time through. We used Nikk for engagement photos and our (hiking) wedding photos. My husband and I are both introverts and really dont care for focus being on us. Nikk was able to beautifully balance his approach to give us both guidance and space on our special day. Kudos to him for hiking with us, as well as working our dogs into the engagement session. Nikk is so relaxing to be around that he is able to capture naturally beautiful shots. I highly recommend him and would use him again!
We love Nikk! He is an amazing photographer and artist. My husband and I can’t stop looking at our photos. Nikk is extremely skilled and reminds me of a really good referee who knows how to make record of every detail without interfering or interrupting special moments. There is no other person who could have captured our wedding better than Nikk. Our wedding took place in Cancun and we experienced clouds, sun, outdoor settings, and indoor settings. Nikk didn’t miss a beat with when it came to lighting, exposure, and scale. We are thinking of events and reasons to utilize Nikk’s services again. Nikk’s team shot our wedding in June 2022 (photography and videography) and from the first shot to the last shot we were so pleased with the quality of everything! His team truly captured all of the emotion and joy from our big day with the most beautiful aesthetic. We have so many favorite photos and can’t wait to cherish these memories in images forever. The video was also AMAZING and made my husband and I tear up from joy. Our vows were woven so perfectly into the video and they caught so many sweet moments. I was pumped when I booked Nikk to photograph my wedding, but I was over the moon at the fantastic photographs! Nikk was excellent at making my wedding party look stunning! His photos had such great storytelling, and so much was captured.
WOW...where to begin?! Nikk is so incredibly talented, and our wedding photos are absolutely stunning! Nikk’s work has such a unique, moody, romantic style which is what drew us to him when we started searching for photographers over a year ago. Not only is his style unique, he captures those raw, unfiltered moments that really encapsulate a wedding day vs. focusing on more staged, forced moments. We used Nikk for engagement photos and our wedding which we’d highly recommend - by the time we got to our wedding day, Nikk felt like a close friend and seamlessly integrated himself into our day. During our first meeting, we really appreciated that Nikk had opinions about some of the things we were still debating (i.e., first look or no first look) and could share his perspective as an expert in the industry. He helped us land on decisions we felt good about and made the most sense for us. When we decided later in the wedding planning process that we wanted a videographer, Nikk took it upon himself to research videographers in his network and even reached out to one we liked for his availability. The two of them collaborated so well on our wedding day that you would have no idea it was their first time meeting. Nikk also works so fast! He turned around our engagement and wedding photos so quickly compared to other friends who’ve worked with wedding photographers. Nikk shot our wedding and was incredible. The whole photo session was a lot of fun and we were comfortable with him immediately despite me usually hating photos being taken of me. Similarly, during the ceremony we hardly noticed him but he somehow managed to capture every single moment.We got the photos back really quickly and loved them all, they stood out from all the other very standard wedding photos wed seen around when looking for photographers which we really liked as it made them much more personal to us rather than just stock photos.We 100% recommend Nikk for any wedding/ engagement / senior portraits you need done!

Nikk is incredible! Nikk did a couples shoot for my husband and I and we couldnt be happier that we found him. Nikk is the best in wedding photography! The first booking we made and the best desicion ever. After seeing his work online, we were extremely happy, that he was available on the day of our wedding! Nikk is extremely good at what he does. His pictures are amazing and unique (just look at his style!).He is the professional you want to work with: communication and timing is amazing. He answers all you questions, provides useful information, and gives you hints what to do. The photoshot was easy and relaxing. Working with Nikk is just a pleasure and he gives you awesome directions to make you feel relaxed, the whole process is a great and happy experience. Our photoshot was in the Downtown Astin, and Nikk had some hidden gorgeous spots in the city! Streets, running across the street, rooftop skyline view, you name it! It was obvious that Nikk knew what he was doing when it came to capturing the intimate and nuanced moments of our wedding ceremony. He made the experience comfortable, laid back, natural, and well-thought out. He had great suggestions on scenic locations and time of day for the best lighting, and even brought an umbrella for us when he anticipated raining (which we ended up using!). And of course, the photos came out great. He has a great vintage style to his photography editing, and made the photo album look and feel like a fairytale. My wife and I hired Nikk as the photographer for our wedding. Originally, we were going to have our wedding in 2020 but Corona happened and Nikk worked with us for rescheduling. Nikk is a godsend! David (my husband) proposed July 2017 and let me tell you all, I was SUPER excited and had so many emotions flowing through my brain and the first thing I thought of (after saying YES!) was ‘we need THE photographer’. Night after night I was on wedding apps, instagram, and the web searching and looking at multiple pages of different photographers throughout the city of Houston and Austin, TX. Finally, I found Nikkolas Nguyen!I started stressing out because I have never taken any professional photography and did not know where we would like to take our photos or what to do. Up until the day of our wedding photoshoot, Nikk has been flash-quick to respond, very professional, and most accommodating to all of my questions, concerns, and every little thing in between.Our day at Enchanted Rock has been the most enchanting and a very fun-exciting photoshoot that David and I have experienced! We are absolutely in love with our wedding album! We contacted Nikk to document our backyard wedding and he responded nearly immediately. We chose Nikk because of his gorgeous portfolio and calm professionalism. On our wedding day, Nikk arrived on time and went to taking photos almost immediately. We mostly forgot he was even there, which made for really relaxed and natural photos of our day. I just received the pictures from our shoot. I wish my words could put to justice how amazing this entire experience was! Nikk was incredibly accommodating to our situation with changing the dates. He took the time to get to know us as a couple to find the best location. Nikk gave some great advice as far as location/timing/etc. From the beginning I felt confident in his service! During the shoot it felt very natural and fun! I have never gotten pictures taken before- he made the process seamless! I didnt realize how vulnerable and bonding picture taking can be. We recently had our wedding near Austin at Chapel Dulcinea and hired Nikk to photograph our event after seeing his work on Instagram. During the event, Nikk did an absolute splendid job and was always extremely courteous of us and all of the guests. He was very laid back and was full of great photo ideas. Nikk photographed my very small pandemic wedding and I couldnt be happier with the results. Nikk was professional, reasonably priced, and responsive to our our needs. He communicated well in both getting organized, and during the wedding ceremony and after to help us get the shots set up. He wasn’t intrusive; at the same time was present and focused on getting the pictures. He offered positive instruction to help us get the shots. We agreed to a package of 60 pictures. He sent 73. And delivered them faster than promised.Most important, we both really like the photos. Nikk’s work captured the moment. And he shot the range of emotions and memories of our special day. Its hard to find the right words to describe Nikks pure talent. He has a way of capturing lifes most amazing moments so organically, so fluid, and so seamlessly. For both my husband and I, we dont love being in front of the camera, so hiring someone that was able to make us feel so comfortable was simply perfect. Nikk Nguyen is the THE BEST. Seriously. When my husband and I got engaged, I searched the web and reached out to a handful of photographers before we found Nikk. His work really stood out from all the others because his aesthetic is strong without being overly stylized, hes got an eye for detail, and most importantly, the couples he photographs look natural, effortless, and comfortable (no prom poses here, folks). We knew before we met him that we wanted him to document all the wonderful moments on our wedding day - it didnt hurt that hes a SUPER nice guy too. We signed with Nikk and an assistant photographer for the big day as well as an engagement session. I absolutely recommend the engagement session, btw, especially if youve never been in front of a camera like us. I was worried about looking awkward (never know what to do with my hands), but he made us feel so comfortable during our shoot, guiding us the whole way, and it shows in our photos. I got married on September 20 at the Allan House and Nikk was my photographer. I was blown away when I saw a preview of my photos! They are beautiful!Nikk made us feel very comfortable and at times, I wasnt even aware that he was there taking photos. He is quite smooth! He is very creative. I was sad because in the middle of the craziness that comes with the actual wedding day, I forgot to request certain photos. I met Nikk through Southern Love Workshop – his brainchild. If you aren’t familiar with it, SLW is a retreat like workshop focused on inspiring, educating, and building community in the wedding industry. Aside from me (a male wedding filmmaker), every attendee was a female photographer. However, that didn’t take away from me gaining so much insight on what I can implement to grow my brand. Nikk (and the amazing team that he curated), made sure that everybody not only felt comfortable, but felt that they got exactly what they attended the workshop for. As the workshop wrapped up, all the attendees were asked to share feedback and I honestly could not think of anything negative to contribute. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.As for Nikk, there is a reason why he has as many 5 star reviews that he has. I’m currently in my fifth year in the wedding industry. All I can think is how beautiful everyone looks in these photos laughing, crying, and connecting rather than posing and trying to get the right angle. I cant see any flaws because the happiness we shared is gorgeous.I dont remember seeing Nikk during these moments. He blended in with the crowd, and my family enjoyed having him around. Of course, we took the typical family shots, but a part of me wishes we just let Nikk do what he does best: capture genuine moments. Now that the wedding is behind us, I keep wondering if it is too soon to book Nikk again for another shoot. Book him. He is the best.
As a graphic designer I scoured the internet for weeks & interviewed multiple photographers looking for the right eye and personality fit. Nikk was exactly what we were looking for! I consider myself super awkward & not photogenic which doesn’t come across at all in the photos he took. He even got my fiance to enjoy the process (“he was worth every penny,” my husbands words)!!!! We chose Nikk based his stunning work we came across on a wedding site. He was a pleasure to work with, was extremely flexible with us during a date change due to COVID, and provided photos well treasure forever. Nikk has a sharp eye and captured candid and sweet moments of our day. He was efficient and gave us great cues as he took some posed pictures. Nikk even provided some thoughtful extras like some gifs and mini movies for our Instagram pages. His final images blew us away. Nikks sensitivity to light, color, surroundings, and interactions between us provided a cinematic gallery of prints we cant wait to share with loved ones. I spent an ungodly amount of time looking through Instagram and Pinterest for the perfect photographer before finding Nikk. We did not want the “cookie-cutter” wedding photos and his style really spoke to us, enough so that we never even thought about booking anyone else!From the moment we reached out he was on top of all the details. We live out of town and communicated only through phone and email and Nikk was always organized and professional. Neither of us are the ones to jump in front of a camera and I would describe us both as pretty awkward when it comes to posing so we needed someone who would make us comfortable and give good direction at the same time and he did exactly that.His passion for capturing the special candid moments is real and he blew us all away with how beautiful the photos came out - and we got them within two weeks! He even left us with several incredibly special polaroids he had taken throughout the day! Believe them when people tell you the day flies by because it really does and as much as I tried to be in-the-moment all night, there are still details I missed - Nikk didn’t miss any details in his shots. We cant even begin to explain how talented Nikk Nguyen is! We have worked on several weddings and one workshop with him and he always blows us out of the park. His dark and moody editing creates some AMAZING photos for any wedding client. He also is very good in helping couples pose so they get some incredible shots. Nikk was not available for our wedding; however, he sent one of his associates. He did a wonderful job and was extremely professional. Our wedding was at night. It was completely dark with the only light being lamplight. I was so worried the pictures would not turn out good. Let me tell you how wrong I was! They were absolutely incredible. Nikk still does all of the editing even when he isn’t available to take the photos himself. I anxiously awaited the delivery of my photos and I cried the day I opened the link. The pictures were absolutely everything I wanted. The one thing I wanted to splurge on was a photographer because I wanted amazing pictures I would want to look back at forever and that is exactly what I got. Every penny was more than worth it. I am SO happy we chose Nikk for our photographer! Wedding photos are forever, so I wasnt going to take this decision lightly. I found Nikk pretty early on though, so it ended up being so much easier than I thought! He is very responsive and helpful, even when the questions dont have anything to do with your photo session. When we were shooting our engagement pictures, my fiance and I were a little hangry and Nikk was so nice and patient; we even incorporated eating a piece of pizza so we could tie ourselves over till dinner. He is super lax and goes with the flow, but doesnt sacrifice his goal or your time.Now his style: the reason we wanted to work with Nikk was because we could tell he cared about the little moments and interactions between his subjects. I know he will capture everyones happiness too and that is priceless! He has a very soft and natural editing style that I absolutely love. When I showed my Maid of Honor our engagement photos her immediate reaction was Oh my god I love all of them...the vibe is beautiful! Nikk is legit the best. We eloped, so having amazing photos to share with our friends and family was really important to us, and Nikk absolutely killed it.He made us feel comfortable, even though we’re both super awkward in front of the camera (no small feat taking photos downtown Austin on a Friday evening and lots of people watching). I love how Nikk’s photos are so natural looking. We got to be ourselves, and not super posed.He also did us a HUGE favour and expedited editing our photos, so that we could show people right away. It really helped ease the surprise to our parents, and we’re forever grateful.Nikk is generally just an all around great dude. Nikks first workshop was amazing to attend and it set the standards high for future workshops I go to. All the speakers that were there poured their hearts into teaching everyone attending, it was so inspiring to see them so passionate about their work & clients. Nikk is worth every penny. I’m not kidding. Worth. Every. Penny. What first caught my eye when looking for a photographer, was his style, his color choices, just his over all artistry with his work. His sample wedding photos didn’t look like anything I had seen before. I saw something special. I knew he was the one before we even met with him. Let me tell you something though, when you do meet him, he immediately solidifies your initial thoughts. He is super chill, easy going, and makes you feel like you are just hanging out with a friend instead of posing for the camera. I met Nikk this past year when I attended his Southern Love Workshop. He put together such an inspiring and educational week for creatives. It was such a phenomenal experience, everything was well thought out and it was one of the best weeks of my life. Nikk was so helpful throughout the whole week of his workshop. All of these amazing reviews are true. When I was doing my wedding research I kept hearing people say “a good photographer is worth the investment” and it is so true. We could not have been happier with Nikk. All of our interactions and correspondences with him were very professional, and you could tell that photography (and specifically wedding photography) is something he is passionate about and seriously cares about. He is definitely the type of photographer that hangs back and isn’t styling you like a barbie doll all night, which was perfect for us! We didn’t want to feel like we had a camera in our faces the entire time, and we didn’t! Don’t get me wrong, he still captures the formal and classic shots, but he isn’t making you fake poses all night. The quality of his work is impeccable, and we got our full library of pictures back SO quickly. We had friends who got married weeks before us, and we had our photos back far before they did!Day of, he was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable. He seemed relaxed and stress-free, yet captured everything, and I mean everything! Looking back at our pictures immediately made my husband and I cry. The photos are amazing and all our friends and family agree! My wedding day was an absolute blur as everyone told me it would be, and when it’s over you’re left thinking…”that’s it? it’s already over?” After spending a full year of planning venues, flowers, decorations, wardrobe, etc., you want to be able to appreciate those details! But I promise on your wedding day, you will not be thinking about your floral arrangements or your welcome table. But you know who will? Nikk! His formal and detail shots are beautiful, but my favorite thing about his photography is that he really captures the couples’ personality and the “real” moments of the day. Looking at our pictures was such an amazing way to relive our wedding because you miss out on so many of the little moments and details as the bride and groom (or groom & groom / bride & bride). This is really the best investment you can make. As cheesy as it sounds, the day lasts 9 hours but the photos last forever. We are so beyond happy that Nikk is the photographer we chose to document our day, and I know you will be too!

I went to Nikk’s Southern Love Workshop last December and it was life changing. Not only is Nikk a professional businessman and photographer, but he was also thorough, detailed, prompt, and giving. Nikk killed it! We wanted to capture RAW real life moments and emotion, and have a certain filter to the pictures, which was hard to find. After weeks of looking on IG, we were AMAzed by his soulful eye, stylized pics, and hint of vintage edge, which is exactly what we wanted instead of the usual run of the mill photographer to capture our unconventional wedding. I am a huge art deco lover and loved the timeless coloring (filter). Hes super organized, goes with the flow, responds quickly (which for an anxious bride is key), and hes a cool dude! I did not want to do a photo shoot. The date for our engagement photos crept closer and closer, and my anxiety about it climbed higher and higher. I did not want to do a photo shoot. I generally don’t like being in pictures. I hide behind others, or I simply look away. I just don’t like people up in my business, not that there is any business. I did not want to do a photo shoot. I did not want to sit on a couch that was floating in a lake. I did not want to ride a tractor through a derelict factory, not in a box, not with a fox, just no.But, I entertained the idea. I sucked it up and played along because it was important to my fiance, Marissa. It was also refreshing to have a photographer who was Vietnamese. I enjoy supporting local artists of color...especially my color. #ViEtPrYdE On the day of the shoot, Marissa, our chocolate lab Mr. Bean, and I drove down south to Moontower, where we first met. The parking lot was a muddy obstacle course. Tension was high as we both were stressing, and Mr. Bean was not making any of this easier because, you know, squirrel! We finally met. Nikk was much more laid back than I expected. It was like the Discover card commercials where the customer and the customer service rep are like long lost siblings, except I’m not as cool as he is.We had a great time. Nikk’s natural familiarity and warmth made the experience feel like it was just another lazy Sunday afternoon surrounded by close friends.A surprisingly brief time later, Nikk sent us our album. We were blown away. He captured expressions I didn’t even know the scientists had programmed into me. Nikk is a true master of his craft. Because of his ability to transform emotion into something tangible, I recognized that it wasn’t just what my fiance wanted. It was what I wanted all along. Southern Love was my first ever workshop and man did it set the bar high for the future! It wasnt just pretty styled shoots, it was so much more. It was lifelong friendships (from the attendees and the speakers), amazing food cooked in-house for us by a chef, words of wisdom + education by inspiring speakers that will change my business drastically. I was blown away by how most of the speakers stayed under the same roof as us so we literally got to ask them questions and learn from them until midnight every night. It was so much fun and I will definitely be going back again!!!
Nikk was great. He traveled to San Antonio for me, was punctual and very polite. His shots were great, and gave me more than expected in terms of final edited versions. When Im in San Antonio again I will definitely use him.

2022-06-02Nikk is literally the BEST! He shot my good friends wedding a few years ago and we were able to find him thru reference. You won’t regret booking him. We had the pleasure of working with him for 3 separate sessions our engagement photos, ceremony and our reception. He nailed all of them. Not only are we in LOVE with these pics my family and friends are still swooning over them. He’s not your average wedding photographer. His editorial artistic style speaks for itself! We got married at the W hotel and they even featured our wedding photo he took on their social media!

2021-12-07My wife and I couldn’t be happier to have worked with Nikk for our wedding. Seriously, this guy is an absolute monster behind the camera, while also being extremely professional and easy to work with. My wife and I both are not the types who love to have our photos taken – we both tend to stiffen up and pose unnaturally, but Nikk made us feel incredibly comfortable while also making us look way cooler than we actually are. Everybody tells us we look like we belong in a magazine – it’s absolutely wild. His eye for capturing unique moments is amazing, and he gave us the perfect balance of moments throughout the evening that are intimate, candid, and posed – all of which are incredible. All of his shots feel cohesive together, and looking through our entire library actually feels like I’m following a narrative and reliving our wedding as if we were in the eyes of one of our guests. After our virtual meeting, we felt completely comfortable giving Nikk the freedom to join us and capture everything he wanted, while also capturing a healthy list of things we absolutely wanted. Nikk went above and beyond to capture everything we wanted, and then gave us way more than we ever thought we could need, all the while being very timely and professional. We fell in love with his style from looking has his gallery of work and how he learned about the couples he works with.We were blown away by our wedding gallery since he delivered it. Nikk captured the true spirit of our wedding day. We’ve heard from numerous guests saying that Nikk was everywhere during our ceremony and reception, and his photos prove it! Nikk captured some of the most intimate and authentic moments of our wedding day without being intrusive. Our wedding gallery gave us the best timeline of our wedding day where we can relive that night again and again. Every photo shows the love and happiness from that night. 2022-04-12When planning my wedding, I was nervous about all the various vendors, scheduling, whether they would show on the wedding day, etc… from the moment I first got into contact with Nikk, I knew I wouldn’t have to worry at all about working with him. He was incredibly responsive, and made me feel at ease from the first conversation.As for the event itself, Nikk was very personable and friendly but completely non intrusive. My husband and I are super awkward but he made the process so easy and comfortable.As for the photos, Nikk is a lighting wizard. Seriously. My wedding looks like something out of an Oscar winning movie. I am also not one to ever feel beautiful, but there are a lot of shots where he almost tricked me. For this, I am thankful.I can’t recommend him enough and will be looking for his services for any other life event in the future that requires a photographer.

2021-10-22Nikk was so fantastic to work with! We loved having him photograph our wedding and felt confident that he would capture our precious moments. He was incredibly understanding with postponing the wedding due to the pandemic and was quick to respond anytime we had a question. Nikks got such a strong range of experience that I was super excited to throw some unique requests at him with colored smoke photos that came out incredible! Nikk and his 2nd shooter were both easy going and we felt really comfortable throughout the whole process including individual and group shots. I love looking back on the wedding and getting to see precious moments between family and guests that I otherwise would have missed. I cant recommend him enough!

I was searching for a photographer that could capture candid shots, more of a photojournalist style and Nikk was truly the best! Hes very easy to work with and was always offering to help on the day of the wedding which I was very appreciative of. He captured our day so beautifully and several friends are now requesting for their upcoming weddings.

Nikk and his team were so easy going, kind, and a delight to spend the day/evening with. They listened to what we wanted to do and made helpful suggestions. 2021-08-03We are so delighted to have found Nikk Nguyen Photo in a very small time frame. With everything going on these days I wasn’t sure if our wedding would happen so we waited the last minute and contacted Nikk a few weeks before the ceremony. He immediately messaged us and we felt relieved since there wasn’t time left. We asked Nikk if he would be able to just do a ceremony only type of wedding so we only needed him for 3 hours. He was very flexible around it and told us he could and we were thrilled because his work is amazing. Nikk captures the mood and the way he sees the moment like he is painting a scene. He knows a lot of composition and creates the best images. Despite our wedding ceremony being very small he was able to put everything together so well. Our ceremony just consisted of us and our parents, sister, husband and son so only seven guests. He captured the small intimidate moment so perfectly. And we honestly thought we would get maybe three good images and that would have made us very happy. But to our surprise it was hard for us to choose which photos we wanted to have large prints of. We selected 4 extra large ones because they were like paintings and we need them on our walls in our home. We couldn’t have asked for anything better than these amazing lifetime captures that we can enjoy for many years to come. Looking at these images daily will always bring us back to that day. We would recommend Nikk Nguyen Photos to anyone that we know needs a wedding photographer.
