My husband took our 10 yr.old Westie into the clinic this morning. Our Westie was scheduled for a teeth cleaning. We were given an estimate for the teeth cleaning two weeks ago after our Westie’s annual exam where all the necessary blood work was done. The vet tech presented another estimate this AM where the cost of the cleaning doubled from $528 to $1200!! This vet tech could not explain the differences in the amounts, didn’t know that the blood work had already been done, and obviously never read any of the medical record. We have been with this vet clinic for over five years (for two of our dogs) and this latest occurrence was just plain bad business. While we realize that the cost for a dog’s teeth cleaning varies depending on the number of necessary tooth extractions and possible additional medications, the fact that a surgery estimate could DOUBLE in the span of only TWO weeks is ridiculous. Why were we not told two weeks ago the cost of possible extra charges? Why did the vet tech not even read our Westie’s medical history? And, why should we trust these people to adequately and professionally take care of our dog during surgery? The attitude and lack of staff knowledge was unacceptable as was the “bait and switch” maneuver for the cost of the surgery. Unfortunately, after five years as clients and as the result of this bad experience, we will no longer use North Austin Animal Hospital. It seems that those in charge of the clinic are either not training their staff adequately or are charging their customers exorbitant fees - or both. Shameful business practices!
I started taking my prior Dog to this Veterinary Clinic at least 10 years ago. Both my pet and myself were well treated and the staff was always friendly and concerned with the well being of my animal. I ended up having to euthanize my beloved Dog Chester at this location. It was difficult but everyone involved was sympathetic through the process. A couple of years later I brought a 10 month old dog that I adopted from the Austin Animal Center in to see Dr. Harris. He was really supportive with my new puppy and made some good suggestions about her care. Ive liked all the veterinarians that have managed my dogs well being at this location.
Had an emergency situation with our pet and we had never been there before until that day. I was hysterical, they got me in right away. Unfortunately, we still had to euthanize our sweet boy. The staff was very kind and understanding and their rates were so fair. Our family will forever be grateful for how they handled the situation.
We brought our guinea pigs here for the first time just a few days ago and will definitely continue to use this vet. The care was professional, the staff were incredibly helpful with all our questions, and the price was reasonable for exotic pets. They also provided an extensive care packet on guinea pigs, which was very nice. Their communication has also been phenomenal, even checking in with us the day after the visit to ensure we didnt have further questions and our pigs were doing well.
After calling two other animals hospitals that provided services for exotic reptiles, I was told I had to be on a waiting list (possibly 4-8 weeks wait) for a well care visit. North Austin Animal Hospital got me in 4 days! The assistant was welcoming and professional. The doctor was informative, took the time to physically examine my bearded dragon, determine his weight, checked for obvious physical abnormalities. She examined him for signs of dehydration and weight loss/gain. Also took sample stool to check for parasites. I was pleased with my first visit! The only issue I didnt like was I had to pay a deposit when I scheduled the appointment. I was told people schedule appointments and do not show. I was skeptical but I agreed to it and it worked out. I would recommend this animal hospital!
I have an anxious GSD rescue who is very reactive to other dogs and generally doesn’t like being at the vet. Even with the appropriate amounts of trazodone, it’s a very stressful experience for him. NAAH has always been fantastic for us. We can call from the parking lot to ensure the coast is clear and avoid confrontations with other pets. Dr. Pena was amazing at administering his shots and getting his bloodwork done, to the point that he didn’t even notice (partly because he was so concerned with the other smells and sounds outside the exam room). I no longer live close to their office but their patient understanding of my boy’s issues is well worth the commute, even on Mopac. Everyone on their staff is amazing, I can’t recommend them enough.
As a parent to many rats, I LOVE the North Austin Animal Hospital. Ive been going here for my main vet needs for two years now and am always so impressed with them. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and they all genuinely care about each and every patient on a very personal level. Theyve made time for me to come in immediately during a sick pet emergency (and successfully treated that rat too!), have done successful surgery on a very high risk rat of mine (who also healed nicely with barely a scar), and when one of my rats passed away of old age and a chronic genetic disorder they treated him through, the staff sent me a handwritten sympathy card with their own personal anecdotes about my boy, which really touched my heart and really wowed me with just how much they all loved my rat that they had personal favorite things and memories about him.The staff here has helped me keep all of the animals in my care happy, healthy, and comfortable. Theyre always open and honest with me so we can make informed decisions about my pets health together, and they always look for ways to keep pets healthy without giving up. A rat of mine that initially did not have a great prognosis healed and thrived under their care and made it to old age comfortably and happily.Another thing that is very important to me is how they respect my knowledge and experience with both caring for animals in general, most specifically rats, as well as my deep knowledge of my own rats. Theyve always included me in the medical process by also asking me questions about my pets and for my own opinions. My concerns have never been dismissed, and Ive never been spoken over or condescended towards. Everything is always a mutual dialogue. The prices are average and fair for exotic pets, and Ive found the prices for more intensive treatments such as biopsies and surgeries incredibly fair and affordable. Medication is more affordable than other vet offices in Austin, and is mixed onsite which is such an amazing convenience, especially as I rely on public transit. They also accept CareCredit, which is helpful and appreciated as well. Of course all of their pricing is really great when you add on the high quality of personal care.My only negative critique is that sometimes the schedule gets booked up quickly for exotic pets, but with the hiring of more staff recently, Im hoping itll be easier to get appointments soon.
North Austin Animal Hospital offers exceptional service for you and your pets. I took my senior dog for a consultation, vaccines, testing, and then back to have her spayed and every part of the process was seamless. The doctors and staff are incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, they break down post-op care for your pet to a T. Will absolutely be returning here for future vet visits. Highly recommend!
To be fair, most of the time they provide good service with nice staff. Thats why I gave two stars. However, I can never rely on them in a critical condition because the availability is always one week out. Unfortunately nobody is able to anticipate when their pets are going to be sick, so having a hospital like this is kind of pointless. In addition, some new technicians are just rude by trying to make their customers look like idiots when they ask questions.
I brought my dog to see Dr. Taryn Pena because she came highly recommended by several friends. My dog was bit by another dog and I was surprised at how well she took to Dr. Pena because she usually hates going to the vet and she was especially not herself after the bite. Dr. Pena took great care in examining her and followed up to make sure my sweet pup was ok. I really appreciated her approach and genuine care. I will be referring more friends to her.
Someone one social media is complaining about an experience at your hospital without having any understanding of how understaffed the whole industry is so, Im leaving you a good review to fight anger with empathy. Veterinarians and vet techs its incredibly hard to do what you do on a daily basis but you are appreciated by some of us!
The only place I have ever boarded my cat - for the first time ever doing so (several years back). they soon became my new favorite veterinarian practice and that’s where I take my cat for all his exams and vaccines now. On top of a high respect for all the staff I have ever encountered (and how they are handling the pandemic, I would add, too), I just trust these humans completely with my pet. Also, my cat hates being in the carrier and in the car. Once I started going here, he no longer had to endure a 15-20 or more car ride on the highway and he likes that commute much better! I switched for certain when my cat was less bothered by the short trip to this location without a highway (I live on Lamar). I come back for the staff and the quality of care, always, but my cat feeling at ease during the trip and the exam will always be an important factor in itself.
I had nothing but incredible experiences here. Dr. Pena and the team were always lovely, kind, and so knowledgeable. They made a very difficult time in my life much more bearable with their compassion. Im so thankful for them and would trust them with all my animals moving forward.
Best animal hospital in Austin. We have two dogs and have been coming her for over 8 years. Dr Hefner and Dr Harris are the very best at what they do. They are very good at explaining everything and never try to steer you towards the most expensive option. They also have a great way of teaching you without you knowing it. I for ever will take my dogs and other pets here.
If you are looking for a Vet in Austin this is the place to go! They are always very professional and great with communication. Dr. Stone is one of the best Veterinarians I know. He genuinely cares about all the animals he treats. He makes sure you understand exactly what is going on and the different options you may have. I highly recommend North Austin Animal Hospital and Dr. Stone to anyone in the Austin area!
Everyone at this vet office was so sweet and understanding! I havent had a puppy in years, and they patiently answered all of my questions, and were very sweet to my little one, and gave him something to chew on while he got his shots. They followed up with me the next day to make sure he was going well and to let me know the results of his stool sample testing, and I really appreciate how helpful they were. I was also surprised at the price for my puppys shots, I thought they were going to be very expensive!
My family and I recently lost our dog to old age. NAAH was considerate, kind, compassionate, and gentle in their approach to helping us through this emotional procedure. They made sure that we, and more importantly our little Buddy, were comfortable and cared for from beginning to end. I cannot offer higher praise and gratitude.
We were in Austin the past few days as evacuees from Hurricane Laura. We traveled with my dog Tripp, who had his leg amputated two days before we had to evacuate due to bone cancer. Our vet back home wanted us to take Tripp to a vet in Austin to have his amputation site checked out and wrap removed while in town to ensure there were no issues. We called several vets in town, and North Austin Animal Hospital was the first with availability to see Tripp. They were extremely friendly, professional, and completely empathetic to our situation as exhausted and nervous evacuees. They examined Tripp, removed his wrap, gave him his long list of medications that I couldn’t get him to take, and referred us to a local emergency vet for further testing, and didn’t charge us a dime!!! It meant a lot to me, because we’ve spent thousands in recent days on vet bills, plus all the costs associated with evacuating. Also, the technician who helped us went above and beyond her duties by explaining to me exactly how she was able to get him to take his meds, and walked me through the referral process. She even hand wrote instructions on how to get to the emergency vet since we werent familiar with Austin. Most people would have told me just to Google it. I wish I could remember her name, but she was an awesome human being. Overall, I was very pleased with the exceptional care the veterinarian and staff provided to us and for my baby. If I lived in Austin, this would be my vet of choice. Thank you North Austin Animal Hospital! You guys are amazing!
We lost our cat unexpectedly and it was tough. That sweet cat was my drinking buddy and patient with my little boys. North Austin Animal Hospital went above and beyond. They made our last moments with Gizmo, our sweet baby, comfortable and genuine. Then after it was all over the entire office sent us a letter about our loss. I’ve never felt more cared for by a vet clinic. Thank you, Nowrh Austin Animal Hospital.
Update to my original review:My dog did have a more urgent need a while back. They were able to fit him in the same day even though they were booked on regular appointments. Knowing they will make themselves available when things are actually time sensitive is enough to bump them up to 5 stars. :) oh and every time my dog goes there, he is so excited and not scared at all!I’ve never been inside, I started coming after COVID started. A tech calls you when you are in the parking lot to go over history and then come out to the car to bring the pet inside. I appreciate the extra precautions.Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. They are timely in approving my online prescription requests and sending paperwork to my pet insurance company.Four stars because it’s sometimes hard to get an appointment. They are taking fewer patients a day because the socially distant appointments take longer. Luckily my pups haven’t had anything too urgent.
I work in *human* healthcare, so I understand the delay. I checked in for my appointment at 12 and didn’t get a call back until 12:37. It was a long wait. The doctor called me and told me about my cat and answered everything and apologized for the delay. She was super professional as friendly. So was the tech that took my cat in and out of my car. I loved that they called my cat my “baby” on the phone—a very sweet service. I did ask for an estimate of service and had to call back actually to get it. But other than that, very friendly!
I haven’t met a vet here that I don’t like, but shout out to Dr Heppner for being my first vet and wonderful with my sassy boy cat. Also Izzy is the friendliest person in the world and always makes me feel welcome and valued. They clearly love their animals and I wouldn’t choose any place else in Austin.
I have two labs, one which I have been taking here since 10 weeks and the other since 8 weeks. The staff here is amazing, very friendly knowledgeable and super sweet to my pups. I moved cities and I still haven’t left because there customer service is amazing. My older dog enjoys coming to the vet.My smallest pup just got neutered a couple days ago and the staff was so sweet. They called to check up on him. And any concerns I have I know they are a call or email away! Love this place! Highly recommended coming here !!
Im so glad I chose North Austin Animal Hospital as the first vet to see my bearded dragon. They took such care of her and gave me so much useful advice. Im not sure if its because of social distancing or if they are just always this busy but it took a little while to see the vet. That was no problem for us though! It was very much worth the wait and Im so glad her first vet visit went really smooth. I know that I can trust them and well be returning once more for an annual visit before moving away!
I had to rush my cockatiel Megabyte here because he was very sick and vomiting. They were able to get him in immediately. Dr. Harris was very comforting, caring, and knowledgeable every step of the way. They allowed me to keep Megabyte at their clinic overnight when his conditions worsened. Every lady I talked to on the phone was nice and genuine when I was scheduling appointments or asking for help. Everyone here went above and beyond for Megabyte, from bedside manners to quality care. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ll be taking my all my pets here for their medical needs from now on. Thank you all!
I’m so happy we have the best veterinarian ever. They always care about my Coconut with her health issues. I always receive a good call from the front desk ladies asking about her and how is she doing after a treatment. Doctor Harris is not just the best professional, knowledgeable Vet Ever! but a great person who truly cares about your pet health!. Words can not describe how grateful I am!
The exotic veterinarian was absolutley wonderful! He did everything he could for my Cooper girl and tried to keep cost to a minimum for myself. She did so much better from the moment I picked her up, for about 2 weeks. See, she was a VERY sick girl when i took her in. We were all surprised that she actually made it out of the facitlity! And even more so that she seemed to be doing pretty good for as long as she did. However, i waitied too long to take her in in the first place, and she didnt make it. But the North Austin Animal Hospital helped us so much! They gave us 2 more weeks with my pretty girl that she was papmered and spoiled and loved. Thank you so much.
Wouldve left 0 if possible. These guys put an appointment for me at 4:30 today, then told me the vet is no longer available. Then they told me I can drop off my pet tomorrow morning without me being able to attend. So they are just expecting people to blindly leave the pet, and trust whatever they choose to do with the pets. Heck, you dont even know if the vet glanced at the pet during his/her coffee break between other appointments. Irresponsibility at its finest!I cant imagine what wouldve happened if I yielded to these wild requests: Here you go sir. Your pet is ready to be picked up! Since you werent here, we took the liberty of performing an X-Ray, multiple bloodwork and Surgery. Your bill is $10,000.
The entire team of people that work at North Austin animal hospital are incredible. Literally, every single person I have ever interacted with has been kind and thoughtful and listened to me (even if I go on for too long!). We have two kitties and two bunnies and I feel so lucky to have an amazing resource for our fur babies.
Update on previous posting:It was really reassuring to be contacted by the office staff and our dogs continue to go to North Austin Animal Hospital. Our followup experiences have truly been very pleasant at North Austin, and that one negative experience must have just been a fluke. The office is always clean and welcoming and the staff there really care about the pets and the owners. Since moving to Austin, this has been the place that we have felt most at ease with while making sure our pugs are being cared for. We will for sure stay with this practice in the future. This was one of the most awkward and unexpected visits to a vet since we moved to Austin. The front desk staff is awesome and always makes us feel welcomed, and the location itself is very clean. However, what was really unsettling was the treatment of my pet. Both the vet tech and doctor seemed very unwilling to touch or handle my dog. They were trying to check her for an ear infection and she was clearly very distressed about the whole process.
We went here sadly to say good bye to our fur baby. He was 13 and had congested heart failure for a year. This place was amazing at a very bad time for us. They treated us and our baby with dignity and respect. The vet came to speak with us when it was time and comforted us. We are very pleased we chose this place it was a light at a very dark time.
I first came in to North Austin Animal Hospital with my girlfriend, when her dog was very, very sick. I was impressed by how kind and thorough they were with the pooch (she made it, and is doing great), and us. I started taking my own dog there, and then, my cat, when he got sick and passed. They are understanding of budgetary constraints, and offer me different options. And, again, theyre just really nice folks. When they come to take my dog back for tests, shes entirely happy to go with them, and thats a very good sign.
Both my babies, River and Pickles, are boarded here when I have to make trips out of state and they cant tag along. I LOVE the staff at North Austin Animal Hospital! Im always nervous to leave my babies and miss them tremendously when I do. However, the staff is super sweet to us. I call to check on them and I can tell they truly spend time with them and care about their well being. I trust NAAH with my fur babies. I wouldnt board them anywhere else. Highly recommended!
This is, hands-down, the best vet experience Ive ever had, both in terms of the care given to my dog (8 years old) and customer service to me, as owner. Dr. Castillo is an exceptional vet who cares about pet and owner alike; I would trust her with any decision for my dog. The technicians are experts, too, as kind as they are knowledgeable. Plus, the office is always ready to field a quick question over the phone. Seriously, this place is the best.
Absolutely my first choice for vet care in Austin. Ive brought a guinea pig and multiple cats here and have had wonderful care every time. They are knowledgable, compassionate, and sensitive to a limited budget. Ive suggested this place to friends and family and have even brought family members pets from other cities. They can treat pretty much any kind of animal and any illness your pet could have. 11/10
I have 5 chickens, and the amount of care I received was beyond any of my expectations and experiences at other vets. I had pretty good experiences so far with my cats vets— but it wasn’t until my chickens came along they i really see what sets north Austin animal hospital apart from the rest. NOT only do they have vets that are well versed in Avian, but there is no doubt in my mind they treat every animal in there like it is the ONLY pet they are treating. I was definitely at ease handing off the chicken and letting them see her while I waited in the car (covid protocol), but there was nothing rushed or skipped over just because I can’t be in the clinic with my baby. Actually, if anything, it felt like they were going above and beyond to give best treatment DESPITE covid protocol.I willl never go to another vet if I can help it! And it is a 30 min drive for me, which Austin traffic easily a 1 hour drive. so so so worth it.Thanks Dr. Peña and the rest of the North Austin Animal Hospital team!
I dont know what I would do without this place. Every person that works here clearly has a huge heart for all animals. I am not an easy customer, I tend to freak out over anything wrong with my baby, but they never meet me with anything but patience, understanding, and compassion. Cancer, Cushings, a seizure disorder...theyve helped my best friend through it all.
I really wanted to love this place. The staff are great, they always greeted my new puppy with lots of love. Unfortunately, after 3 visits to the same vet we were unable to solve his skin condition. They kept insisting that it was a puppy allergy and he would grow out of it. When his stomach began to look like ground beef... I finally took him elsewhere. Turns out he had an extreme skin infection. He is well now, but I was sad to know that he had this condition for months and didn’t get the relief he needed from North Austin Animal Hospital. Their vibe is great, hopefully just an isolated incident... I won’t be bringing my pets here any more.
We love North Austin Animal Hospital for healthcare and boarding for our pet. Our dog is old and is considered a medical boarder. The staff took such good care of her and phoned me with a detailed description of her care. She seems much happier when we pick her up there than she has at other boarding facilities. Dr. Birdwell provides chiropractic care and acupuncture. She is such a caring, understanding, and skilled practitioner. We really appreciate her helping us make our dogs last years as comfortable as possible.
This was our first visit to the clinic. Our dog was exhibiting some very concerning symptoms and they were able to get us in to see the vet on the same day. Dr. Judd was great as was the tech, Melanie. They were both very helpful and sweet to our pooch. They had worse news to deliver than I was expecting, but they did a fine job sharing the information and explained everything well. The front desk staff was efficient and courteous. We got follow up calls and and appointment confirmations via email. The service felt top notch, the staff was caring and concerned. Id happily recommend them.
Weve been coming to this clinic with Dutch, our cat, for 2 years now. They have always been very kind and clear with everything they do while handling him. While our visits have been routine exams, we were never rushed, and given plenty of care and time with each visit. They do not pressure procedures or tests, but make your options (with cost) clear up front to you. I appreciate this business ethic, so that is why when we move later this month, we will still make the trip to see North Austin Animal Hospital for our cats care!
I would highly recommend North Austin Animal Hospital! We are new to the area and this place was recommended to us from a coworker. The staff is SO nice, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Our Great Pyr, Addison is nervous around vets, but they were so patient and understanding. They answered all of my questions, advised the best plan of care, and we left happy. We’ll be loyal customers to the North Austin Animal Hospital! Thank you!
I cant say enough about how much my dog and I love the North Austin Animal Hospital and its staff. Everyone at NAAH is helpful, friendly, and so accommodating.Ive brought my dog here since he was a puppy. During our first appointment the staff answered all of my [anxious] new dog-mom questions, no matter how silly they were. Every subsequent appointment (annual check ups, tummy trouble, allergies, etc) weve had the same level of rock star service. They have a great notification system for vaccinations, medication, and other checkups. They do whatever they can to help you schedule an appointment that fits with your schedule. Theyre also aware of pricing, and will help find the best option for treatment.Hands down, love this place (and so does my pup!).
Dr Harris and company are the most caring and actively involved vets, techs and office staff Ive ever met. I feel like they know and love every pet they see. When my beloved cat died, even though Id moved to another city and was seeing a vet recommended by Dr H., they sent a card with personalized messages and memories of him (my cat lived in the vet office for four months healing before I adopted him). I cannot recommend NAAH enough. 💙
Dr. Harris has been our family vet for over 3 years and has been nothing but a blessing in every way. Hes super honest, upfront, and comforting all at once without trying to suggest extra treatments. The clinic is price conscious and work with you to find the best options. The pet boarding is excellent as well. The assistants have always been very helpful and patient on the phone. We trust North Austin Animal Hospital with all of our cats.
NAAH for the win. I had to make a last minute appt for some eye issues my dog was having. His annual was a week away but we couldnt wait. While there, the vet tech volunteered to ask the doctor if she was able to fit in his annual as well, which she did! They seemed pretty busy too. This saved me a vet trip and $!They clearly explain their procedures for social distancing, so there was no confusion there. This trip was a breeze, my dog is healthy, and I really appreciate the folks here.
Everyone we encountered (front desk, techs, & doctors) was so friendly and nice, and genuinely concerned about my doggie. Other pet parents there also raved about folks, facility, and service. My wonderful neighbor recommended this location and as a new pet parent, Im so glad!
About 6 months ago (9/9/19) I had to put my guinea pig down and everyone at this facility were very supportive. I decided to cremate him, but I wasn’t able to schedule a day to pick up his ashes since I was moving back to Houston. So, the staff was trying to figure out if the cremation center was able to mail him to me. If not, they stated that one of their employees was going to visit Houston in a few weeks and in that trip they would be able to drop off his remains. At the end it turned out the cremation center mailed his ashes. However, them even offering to drop his ashes in person meant so much to me. This location goes above and beyond with customer service and would completely recommend them!
I can’t say enough good things about this place! I came to North Austin Animal Hospital after a couple of vet visits other places where we just felt like another number and little patience or respect was given. You are welcomed with many smiles and your pet’s name on the welcome chalk board. All of the vets and vet techs are so sweet and loving and truly take their time with you and your beloved pet! I had a scare with one of my babies and they didn’t act annoyed or bothered when I called to check on him like other places seem to do. Thank you, North Austin Animal Hospital!!
North Austin Animal Hospital is well worth the extra time it takes to travel there with our girl Cora. From the moment we enter we are greeted by smiling happy faces and even offered coffee and tea! We were then greeted by the Vet Tech that explained what would be happening with Coras procedure. After the procedure the Doctor and her staff came back into the room and Cora was smiling having known I believe that she was in good hands! Thank You all for taking care of our special girl. Well see you again!
Never have I had a better experience at a vets, and heck not even at any sort of human health care! The staff is friendly, attentive, they treat your animals and your feelings towards them with complete respect (I brought in a chicken that had to be euthanized and even though I was totally sad and teary eyed, I didnt expect anyone else to get it, but they lit a mourning candle and handled the death in an extremely compassionate and serious way). They are fair about pricing (dont try to upsell you) and getting an appointment is very easy. They also call with helpful reminders. A+ !!
I have been using this Hospital and boarding facility for 8 years. Always a pleasurable experience, the staff treats people right, and you can tell they really care about the animals.I noticed some other reviews saying this place was overpriced, I do not feel that is the case. If you want something done correctly and by a caring staff you have to pay the cost for this service. While it may not be the cheapest vet around, it is certainly worth every penny.
Cannot say enough about this place! As new owners to a pot belly pig, I had to search far and wide to find a place that would take her in. The receptionist reassured me when I called that they are very comfortable with pigs and she scheduled the appointment, even being careful to consider how much time it would take for our pig to be comfortable enough to come in. That put me more at ease but I was still a little nervous about the visit until I met the nurses and Dr. Judd in person! They were AMAZING with our pig! They knew exactly how to handle her and were very careful to keep her calm at all times while preforming an examination. No one kept me waiting and they were sure to take the time they needed to answer every question I had. This is absolutely the place to go if you have an exotic let!
The veterinarian and all the staff members were skilled and caring while cworking with our dog, Lucky. Although I know they were quite busy, they took the time to thoroughly examine Lucky, take specimens, provide discharge instructions, and answer questions. We were treated like we were the only ones there. Lucky has been to the animal hospital several times. We consistently receive follow-up calls checking on Lucky the day folowing our visits. I recommend North Austin Animal Hospital to anyone needing veterinary care.
I have a foster pup who is reactive on a leash, and we had tried a few different times at other places to get his nails trimmed. One of the groomers recommended we check this place out. The vet techs at North Austin Animal Hospital were sooo patient and sweet with Shadow, and we had success (with the help of a lot of spray cheese).
North Austin Animal Hospital is wonderful! They have taken great care of our dog over the years, but went above and beyond over the holidays after he had to have emergency stomach surgery. He spent two days recovering there and they made him so comfortable. Dr. Mouser and his staff are incredible people who do their utmost for the animals in their care. When our dog was need bland, solid food after surgery, they went out, bought him some chicken and boiled it for him. Incredible!! Many, many thanks to the good people at North Austin Animal Hospital who looked after him during that tough time.
To say that I was pleased with my visit would be an understatement. I was completely blown away and am incredibly thankful towards the Saturday staff at Austin Animal Hospital. I brought my precious pup in after getting hit by a car moments before, and they did not miss a beat. I don’t know what kind of slow, disinterested service I was expecting but they jumped into action instantly. They cared for my pup promptly, kindly and professionally. I was treated equally as well, with my frazzled nerves they explained each step and kept me updated throughout their initial exam. I did not have a primary veterinarian until now, but you bet I’ll be bringing my pup back here.Oh and very cost efficient!! After meds, X-rays, splinting and a short stay for observation I am not walking away with empty pockets, which is a huge plus because I had no way of shelling out the big bucks.
Just a few weeks after moving back to Austin, an urgent matter came up with one of my dogs. a quick look into reviews of nearby vets led me to North Austin Animal Hospital and Ive been grateful for their exceptional care and kindness ever since. Dr. Harris and his staff are amazing! should you find yourself needing to find a new vet or in an urgent situation with your pet, go on over there and meet the team. seriously, the past 9 months have been difficult with the passing of 2 of our 4 senior dogs and the quality of care at NAAH made it much easier to handle the loss.
All around good experiences. Highly recommend the basil service. Did goes in and out of the nail room and comes out happy with trimmed nails. Dont know about your pup, but at home a Mani pedi can take an hour or more. Totally worth the reasonable price here. And they speak dog, so sweet to our pooch.
We brought our beloved gerbil to the North Austin Animal Hospital because she wasnt doing well. Unfortunately, we ended up having to put her down. The staff was so incredibly kind to us. Well never forget how well we were treated while dealing with such a difficult decision & the loss that followed. Typing up this review still makes me emotional about our gerbil, but the concern and care that we were given has done wonders with being able to cope with the loss.Due to some issues, we also ended up being about 15 minutes late to our appointment, but the staff was completely understanding and was able to arrange to still see us (although I would never make a habit of it- scheduling conflicts can be such a pain that the wonderful staff doesnt deserve to deal with!)
I cant imagine another place as good as this one. They are kind loving people with expert knowledge. They are always on time or early with your appointment. You dont even need an appointment and they are right there for you and your pet. My dog has arthritis and I was given the very helpful medicine and great advice. You never feel rushed. My dog loves going its as if he knows he is loved and cared for. Many thanks for all the help over the years.
I looked all over for a vet that would take my two young ferrets and was lucky enough to find this place. My 5 month old ferrets needed their rabies and distemper vaccines and the vet and techs were all amazing! Took time to answer all of my questions as a first time ferret owner and provided me lots of information and genuine care. I will most definitely be returning here annually for their regular visits. On top of all that they also board small animals! So I know that my little fuzzies will be well cared for and safe when I have to travel in the future. Very happy I found this place and highly recommend them.
I have been going here for years, they have seen my pet rats as well as my dog.Exotic pet care tends to get expensive, but North Austin Animal Hospital has done well by me and Ive never felt like they were overcharging me for services. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I will continue to bring my pets here for care.
I honestly have never felt more welcomed and supported at another vet. The entire staff is so kind and I love how most of their vets are also exotic animal specialists. Not to mention that their prices were half the cost of my usual vet. I will always bring all of my animals to this clinc. Thank you so much for taking care of my Guinea pig
The staff here is phenomenal. I started coming because I had a sick pig and needed immediate attention. Their pig vet had just gone home so they called him back and I swear they saved his life. They offer more then the typical western vet medicines to truly help you and your pet find the right treatment. Now all my pets see the vets here. And they are all so great that if my dogs normal vet cant get him in, it is OK for him to see any one else here. I highly recommend this place.
This place is amazing. Dr. Harris is the nicest, most caring vet I have ever been to. I first came there with my chameleon when she wasnt laying her first batch of eggs. Dr. Harris was so great with her and explained everything that was going on in depth and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He even showed me her x-ray so I could see what was going on inside (so cool!). We took different steps to try and fix the problem but it ended in surgery. I was so nervous because any kind of surgery for reptiles is dangerous with most ending in death. Everything went great during and after surgery. Also, at the time I was a college student and NAAH worked with me with the cost of everything. I cant thank them enough. Dr. Harris and the rest of the staff are truly amazing people that are there for you and your pet.
I ALWAYS recommend them. They are kind, incredibly knowledgeable, easy to schedule with, and have services from pet chemotherapy to acupuncture! Weve brought reptiles to them and they are as knowledgeable about them as they are about furry animals, which was a relief.
New to the area and, needless to stay, I am impressed of the attention & service that North Austin Animal Hosp has given us! They were very attentive & patient. From the moment we stepped in, to the next day receiving a follow up phone call from them! First impression was one for the records. Wow-Excellent!! Thank you! Keep up the great customer service!👍🏻
I wanna give a HUGE shoutout to North Austin Animal Hospital. They were the first vet I tried when I moved to Austin and I really got lucky to find such a great clinic on my first attempt. I have had nothing but the best experiences with them. They accommodate Ettas reactiveness by giving us the first appointment of the day, letting us wait until the car and/or taking us straight back. They squeezed Etta in when I accidentally got the dates mixed up on her mast cell tumor removal. They have been very persistent in working with me with her anxiety as well. And yesterdays visit was such a relief bc Ive been dealing with Maggies skin issues for awhile. They also take into consideration your finances by breaking down services by what is absolutely necessary and then telling you which additional services they also recommend and why. They are always so nice and call the next business day *every single* visit to check on the girls. I am so grateful for them. Best Vet clinic ever.
I went in yesterday with a young chick in distress. She was gasping for air and declining rapidly. We called before we left to let them know we had an emergency. Upon arrival the staff took our chick and told us to wait. Ten minutes later they brought her back up and said that because it was 5:30pm and they close at 6:00pm they couldnt help us. We were told wed have to go somewhere else. Dr. Harris has been our vet through 3 dogs and a cat and we love him. Weve referred everyone we could to North Austin Animal Hospital. I was absolutely astonished with the disregard and apathy we were shown yesterday. We will NEVER return. We are disappointed to part with Dr. Harris but we cant condone the behavior of the employees. I understand that this is a business but we are seeking care for our loved ones. Patients (CUSTOMERS) beware.
How this place has so many 5 star reviews is a question for the ages. We were initially charged $66.00 for just an exam. The assured us the issue was still solvable WITHOUT surgery. The method used has damaged our dog’s ear greatly, resulted in an infection and subsequently he has to have surgery. The quote the provided for the surgery was $717.00+$150.00 bloodwork. Do NOT go here. When I questioned the vet about the success rate of this method she was completely unfamiliar with the approach used. It became very clear there are no consistent standards from vet to vet for common issues. The worst experience we have had since moving to Austin has been this vet.
I highly recommend Dr. Harris and his highly trained staff, they truly are like family to me and Dr. Harris is nothing short of a miracle worker. He and his staff really do care about you as a person and your pet. I honestly have never felt as strongly about recommending any Veterinarian or Business as I do Dr. Harris and TEAM.They can do virtually any type of treatment on your pet, from the normal stuff to: AccupuntureCryotherapyDentalSurgeryand too much more to mention in this review.Bottomline, if you want the best treatment and reasonable pricing, this is the place to go. My animals are part of my family and I wouldnt ever want to take them anywhere else, when they need veterinary treatment and services.
My dog was at North Austin Animal Hospital for boarding while my husband and I were out of the country on our honeymoon. We had a flight issue and came home a day late, and they were really flexible with adding on the extra night. As always, they are great with Oscar. I can tell the team really cares about him and loves having him there. Oscar came home clean and happy.
Wonderful animal hospital! The staff is always very friendly and easy to work with. Ive taken my bearded dragons and German shepherds on many different occasions, and the staff always knows how to correctly handle my animals. They also give a quick and accurate diagnosis.
My daughter took our doggie Rocky Road to this clinic. Rocky had congestive heart failure and passed away on 8-28-19. We drove in from Albuquerque to b with my daughter and say goodbye to Rocky. They were so kind, thoughtful very compassionate. We had our Rocky Road cremated there. They made each of us paw prints of his in a heart clay shape mold. Gave my daughter some of Rockys nails hair in a little bottle so she could keep. He was our baby. We miss him so much. Thanks to everyone there 4 being so good to Rocky and my daughter during this difficult time in our lives. We r extremely grateful. God bless u all. Great job! 💖🐶
I wouldn’t even rate this establishment one star if I had the choice. I brought my dog in a little over a week ago for an ear hematoma. The FIRST vet that we saw was confident that draining the fluid in his ear would do the trick. We brought him back, and it was then done a second time. We had to bring him back a THIRD time and saw a completely different vet, who has never heard of this method used to treat a hematoma. At this visit, the new vet confirmed that the ear was indeed infected, and now my dog is missing a chunk out of his ear. I highly recommend taking your pet literally anywhere but here.
Love this place! I have pet rats. My sweet little guys do great most of the time, but when they get sick, sometimes its very sudden. They are great at helping get me in on short notice, as some illnesses progress very rapidly once symptoms start showing up. They are very caring and personable, both with the patients and their human(s). Its hard to find a vet thats personable and so passionate. Its significantly harder to find a vet that cares for rats and other non-traditional pets. This place does both. Keep it up!
Ive been taking my greyhound and my parrotlet to Dr. Harris at NAAH for several years. He and the staff there are awesome. When my bird got injured and eventually passed away, everyone was so kind and considerate... They did everything they could for him, and for me. Dr. Harris was especially kind, and even though I was lost in grief at the time and couldnt express my thanks properly, I was so glad he was there. I appreciate how much everyone at NAAH cares about patients and their owners... Cant recommend this place enough.
We have been taking our Boston to Dr. Heppner since he was a puppy and we absolutely LOVE her! She is amazing and so informative. We were sad to move and find a new vet :( Everyone we encountered at North Austin Animal Hospital was amazing, we were always very well taken care of.
Had been to a couple vets before and then we stumbled on this place randomly and have never gone to another one. The staff does very well with the dogs, my 9lb terrier Mazzy warmed up to them quick. Had even helped us sample a product due to talking about my dog’s anxiety problems. Also, free bottle of wine for first-timers. I mean...
Theyre incredibly compassionate and caring about what they do, and I wouldnt trust my furbaby with anyone other than them. Dr. Hepner is truly amazing, and she helped to save my cats life after another vet had callously misdiagnosed him (*cough cough* South Austin Pet & Bird). They have cute reptiles in the waiting room, and everything is always clean and sterile. The staff has never been anything other than completely kind, bright, and helpful - and bc I have an accident prone cat I have been here quite a few times. If you want your animal to be taken care of with love - come to North Austin Animal Hospital.
Every time I bring my pups here, the staff makes them better. The staff goes above and beyond to do their jobs and theyre so nice. You can tell they truly care. Its always super busy here but they still manage to find a window for me to bring my pup in. I cant praise them enough!
The front office staff and Dr. Chad Harris are very intelligent and kind people who have helped me and my multiple of my animals. The whole staff is focused on the care of the animal, they are very honest and are not out to make money on their clients but instead aim to have a healthy reciprocal relationship. The staff are very knowledgable about many exotic animals.
I was so impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. They even brought me coffee with a non -dairy creamer. Dr Harris, was phenominal!,, He spent lots of time giving me thorough information about my dogs issues and gave me a choice of treatment plans based on budget and practicality. He showed me the xrays so that I could see for myself Skylars issues. His fees seemed more reasonable than most and I will definitely go back to him.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this vet. I brought my sweet kitty in from out of town for end-of-life care, and even though we had not been to NAAH before, everyone was so nice and caring. Dr. Heppner and the rest of the staff took such good care of me and my kitty. I am so grateful for their kindness on such a hard day. Thank you!
Absolutely love this office and their staff. Every time I call or visit, the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help in any way. They call a day or two before an appointment to remind you about going in and they call the next day to make sure that your pet is still doing well.We couldnt ask for a better vet or office to take our animals to. We love them and feel very safe with our pets in their care.Thank youKent Groves
We had to put down our 12 year old Bichon-Poodle Max due to his age and a spine injury that reoccurred that he was not going to recover from. Dr. Judd and the staff of North Austin Animal Hospital were wonderful - compassionate, caring, and they did everything they could to help make this awful moment as peaceful and gentle as possible. Cost was a real issue for us right now, but unlike many other Austin Vet Clinics, North Austin Animal Clinic does not take advantage of pet parents when it comes to euthanasia and the time to say goodby. We paid for a quality-of-life exam and Maxs cremation. Other places had quoted us prices as high as $270 and many so-called mobile vets charge upward of $300. Taking Max to the clinic was the right thing to do as Dr. Judd helped us make the best decision for our little guy. The total cost - exam, euthanasia (in a gentle, caring environment), and cremation came to less than $140. They didnt even charge us for the beautiful paw print with Maxs name inscribed next to it we received as a momento. North Austin Animal Hospital had always taken great care of Max and they took away his pain in the most caring way possible. God bless the Dr. Judd and the staff of North Austin Animal Hospital.
Although I had to say goodbye to my beloved kitty of almost 14 yrs - the ENTIRE staff at North Austin Animal Hospital were nothing but the best!!! My emotions were always on overdrive; everyone was kind and took their time in talking to me. I cannot thank them enough for their help through the most difficult time I was going through. I wish I had found them prior to MaMas illness because they surely deserve top ratings in care and compassion - her previous vet did not!! Dr. Harris made sure I understood my options and when it was time Dr. Mouser was with us and not only did he provide me comfort but he also provided MaMa with it too. I miss my baby dearly, however knowing her last few weeks were handled with the utmost care and respect has given me some comfort.
This place is awesome. Everybody from front to back is absolutely amazing, they go to extra lengths to make sure your pets are taken care of and that you are comfortable. I drive from Cedar Park and would gladly drive from Houston if I had too. If you live in Austin bring your pets here, you will not be disappointed.
Dr. Judd is awesome, brilliant, friendly and genuinely interested in critters and their over-all health and wellness! Very warm and positive feelings about her and this clinic, they have been with us through hard times and are just outstanding. 💗 Highly recommend, 10/10.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr Harris. He is so kind and knowledgeable. He has helped us with our troublesome bearded dragon and elderly rat. The girls who assist him and work up front are always so sweet and courteous as well. Our family was blessed to find them😃
Ive been taking my dog here for 5 years and have always been very happy with her care until yesterday. Im sorely disappointed by the care she received and will not be returning. We had an appointment to have my dogs blood sugar checked and to see a vet for follow up for an inoperable insulinoma. She had her labs drawn and was returned to me with the statement that a vet would call me back in two days. Her attitude was so cavalier that I figured her blood sugar must have been ok. When I asked she said it was 48. This is nowhere near normal and in past visits at this and a specialty vet blood sugars in this range have required further intervention. Waiting two days to hear from a vet for a fairly critically low lab value is unacceptable. Also, remember that I specifically made an appointment to see a vet to tweak her medication regimen to keep her blood sugars stable and never did. I will be calling her vet tomorrow to find out what he feels a prudent vet or vet tech shouldve done in this situation. Its obvious his tech showed no critical thinking skills and sadly, didnt even seem to care. At the very least the value shouldve been reported same day with a follow up call. What occurred was unacceptable.
I cant express how great this place is. We are transitioning, since our vet of forty years is in the process of retiring, and only offers wellness care. One of our cats had a very acute emergency issue last week, and we brought him to these folks. They were so motivated, so concerned, so on task, so knowledgeable. And they saved his life. I cant imagine there is a better place out there. I just wanted to spread the word.
I love going to Dr. Harris! I have two bearded dragons, and he is their exotic vet. Dr. Harris is always really happy when I come in, and he is extremely knowledgable about my lizards! He is very passionate about reptiles, and has a lizard himself. He will definitely continue to be my go to vet. If you are looking for a good exotic vet in the area, please check Dr. Harris out! If you want to know more about what Dr. Harris has done, he posts a lot of stuff on North Austin Animal Hospitals facebook page
This place was a joke. the doctor barely touched my dog in the examination and I did not feel like she was listening to my concerns. Their $70 office visit is outrageous. I cant believe there are so many 5 star reviews for this place with the service I received. I went to another vet who was able to pinpoint the problem by listening and performing a complete examination.
Ive been so very happy with our experiences at this vet. We have utilized boarding, immunizations, treatment for kidney disease, cold laser therapy, and bereavement. They have always been professional, provided lots of well-explained information, and always made me aware of all treatment options.
While boarding the dogs for the weekend, it was communicated that they needed various shots/boosters. This was fine as that was expected. What was not expected, however, was the bill at the end. When the dogs were dropped off, we were given an estimate of the total, which first of all is somewhat absurd because the vet should know exactly how much everything costs that was needed and was requested. So, a total of a little over $450 was signed off on for everything they needed. When we picked them up yesterday, the total bill was $579!! Not even close to the estimate we were given. Out of respect for the lady putting her cat down, I did not lose it in there. What was lost though, is our business. We told the girl checking us out that we were given an estimate and this is nowhere close to it and she said we verbally agreed to some additional charges. WHAT?! We signed an estimate for the services in their entirety. She then tried to upsell us on some heartworm medication! WHAT AGAIN?! For us, North Austin Animal Hospital made a choice yesterday to no longer have us a client. While weve loved their services and care, this type of thievery at checkout is just beyond unprofessional. Another vet may screw us over someday, but it wont be this one.
I found an injured squirrel in Walnut Creek Park. North Austin Animal Hospital allowed me to bring her in and were so gentle and treated me and the squirrel with such kindness and understanding. They didnt have to take the squirrel, yet they did because they care about animals. I highly recommend this place.
I just moved and saying goodbye to North Austin Animal Hospital is honestly one of the saddest parts of moving out of Austin! The staff at North Austin literally nursed my dog, Harvey, back from what could have been the end of his life. Harvey was going through heartworm treatments (administered by a different vet) and had an adverse reaction to one of the antibiotics. Harvey was not eating or drinking, wouldnt move from under my bed, and throwing up constantly. I took him to North Austin and was astounded by their prompt, professional service. Not only was the staff knowledgeable, they took such good care of my dog and treated him with love and respect. I never waited more than 5 minutes to see the vet and never felt rushed or hurried during the appointment. North Austin saw Harvey through the rest of his heartworm treatments without a single hitch. I know I owe my dogs life and good health to you. THANK YOU, North Austin.
My cat may not be as cuddly as everyone elses cat, so when I needed to take him in for his checkup, Dr. Mouser and his staff were the only people I would trust. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for your beloved pet.
I asked my dog about her vet check up. This is what Sundae the #citypointer had to say:I wish you could have could come in with me. Dr. Stone is da BEST! Its hard to make out with people when they all wearing masks. Over it! Dr. Stone lets me jump on him & I dont get in trouble.Me: Oh! Well, you know better. But Im glad you had fun.Sundae: My teefs are clean.Me: Thats because you eat carrots. Nice cheetah print bandage you got there! You wiggle too much for your shots?Sundae: Yeah. Im gonna chew it off now. I love them.
These are good folks. Not trying to squeeze the last dollar out of you. Very competent and caring, they understand the hard times and the hard decisions. My animals love them there even after being poked in rude places. These are animal people not business people. The place doesnt jump out at you on the road but the facility is nice. Give them a try if you need a change.

2022-04-28We brought our lizard in because she was having some issues eating. The staff was professional, kind and understanding. The veterinarian was great, she listened to all of my concerns and addressed every one with a action plan or an explanation. I felt really empowered with the information she gave me. It made me feel comfortable with how we were going to handle everything. The front staff was also quick to reply and on the ball. They were really gracious and flexible when my husband was running late for pick up as well. I’m so glad they were recommended to us and will be Kevin’s vet from here on out.

2022-02-21I really enjoyed our experience here so far. The entire staff is extremely caring and puts in lots of effort to make sure customers are happy. I was impressed with the very short wait times. I was in and out within an hour- something I have not experienced at other vet clinics! I felt like the doctor was very honest and genuinely cared about my cat.

2021-10-22I can’t say enough positive things about NAAH, the staff there and Dr. Pena. It’s difficult to find good quality care for exotic pets and rats especially tend to have health issues. Through multiple surgeries and upper respiratory infections, I have been treated with such kindness and had all my questions and concerns answered. My mischief would not be alive, happy and healthy today without NAAH. Even when I can sense that staff is overworked and understaffed (a widespread problem of the field in general made worse by the pandemic), they were always so quick to respond to my emails, keeping me in the loop and working the girls into their insane schedule as quickly as possible. If you are looking for a vet hospital with quality care, empathetic staff and incredibly knowledgeable professionals - this is it.

2022-05-17I got my dog Tim back in September 2021, and we have been coming here since his first puppy visit. Regardless of how many times I’ve been, I receive top notch care specified to my dog with great bedside manner by Dr. Castillo. My dog can be a little timid, but every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure my dog’s comfort with lots of positive reinforcement and treating my pet as if he were their own. When communicating with the office, I have always had my questions answered thoroughly and my concerns addressed promptly. I wish I knew every name for a proper shout out, but I had an appointment with Mikayla today and she was genuinely so kind and helpful regardless of how busy they were. You can feel good about bringing your pet here!

2022-05-11We live a few blocks from this clinic so we thought wed give them a try. Fairly new to the area. So, our dog was staying with a dog keeper as we were out of town, and our dog was bitten by another dog that opened a two inch incision near her back leg. The keeper immediately took our dog to this clinic and they basically did nothing - left the skin tear open. We got home 4 days later and it looked horrible so we took it to another local vet and he stitched it up immediately. He said it would have taken months to heal and an open wound like this is very likely to become infected if not closed. This was a few years back.Wanting to give them another chance with our pups, I called today to try and set an appointment. Waited almost 5 minutes and when I finally got to speak with someone, I asked about available appointment times and was very quickly cutoff by their receptionist saying, we are full today. I wasnt really expecting to get an appointment today, but she was rude and obviously not wanting to take the time to discuss their next available openings. My last chance with this group!!

2022-03-20I brought our pet rat into the North Austin Animal Hospital. It was the best experience Ive ever had with a small animal. Everyone was so gentle and took their time over the examination and treatment plan. Plus the office felt really clean and welcoming and the wait was surprisingly short.

2022-06-18I have been taking my two cats to North Austin Animal Hospital for the past 3 years, so this is a bit of a long-term review.I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this hospital. The staff is incredibly friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. They are very efficient in checking people in/out. They always call the day after an appointment to make sure that we understood the plan for the visit and to check in on the cats. They do all the little things right. For the first several years, we went here for yearly checkups. The cats had no major medical issues, and I felt they did a wonderful job with these routine checkups- They recommended reasonable treatments and did not upsell us on things that did not fit our cat’s specific needs. We saw a couple different veterinarians at this time and did not have a single problem with any of them. Then one of our cats became sick with a very rare and complex illness. Because of this, there was a point where she required very frequent visits here, about every 2-3 weeks for the better part of a year. This is when Dr. Kristin Little became our primary veterinarian. I am a physician and I can confidently say that Dr. Little is one of the most caring, empathic, and knowledgeable clinicians that I have ever come across. She cared for our cat literally as if she was our family member. I could not have asked for a better veterinarian to get us through an incredibly frustrating and sad time. I felt she was by our side the entire time. She did all the small things to make us feel supported – she called in prescriptions quickly, she communicated frequently, she updated us with tests results promptly.Given the rarity and complexity of our cat’s illness, we eventually were referred to subspecialized care. The specialist did not have to waste any time re-ordering any tests or questioning any of the previous workup because Dr. Little had done such a fantastic and thorough job prior to being referred. At the same time, Dr. Little was also very reasonable in the tests that she ordered to not overwhelm us financially. It is incredibly difficult to walk a thin line between trying to diagnose a complicated/complex illness while trying to be judicious in which tests to order.I highly recommend North Austin Animal Hospital to anyone looking for veterinarian care.

2022-01-22The staff was friendly and professional. They promptly followed up by phone and text regarding lab results and to check on status of my cats the day after the visit. I will continue to use North Austin Animal Hospital for my pets.

2022-06-02Edit: With the help of office staff, we were able to figure out that the issue was actually software glitches on the Chewy website and the vet office wasnt even receiving my prescription requests!Ive never had such a difficult time getting prescription meds approved for my cats than with this vet office. They will constantly decline my chewy med orders and then never call or attempt to explain why.
