Absolutely recommend this gorgeous venue. Brenda is the sweetest person to work with and is available at anytime to answer all sorts of questions that I had immediately. She was so supportive of the entire process and made sure that we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day (even the wedding party was blown away by her kindness).
Beautiful venue, we only had flower center pieces for our wedding because the venue itself was so pretty. We got so many compliments on the simple but elegant theme. We loved the venue and highly recommend this place, the staff are so nice and so helpful!
My sister is getting married and we recently toured this barn. Ill start with the positives, which is that it was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous lighting, a great brides room and grooms room, and the grounds would make for some amazing pictures. Now, for the negative, and ultimately why my sister decided to go with a different venue. My mom, sister, and I arrived to our tour and met with Lauren, who was not wearing a mask. Being a year into a pandemic, this in and of itself was a bit shocking, but she then went into a speech about how she doesnt wear a mask and hasnt gotten COVID yet. She then said it would be impossible to do her job with a mask, which I find amusing, considering health care workers wear masks literally all day. It made for an uncomfortable situation, as my family was all wearing masks while Lauren clearly wasnt going to and thought the whole concept was silly. In the end, though the barn was beautiful, we didnt feel welcomed or safe, and there are several other gorgeous Aubrey barns to choose from.
Reasons I picked this venue:-Value: They are flat fee, which makes them look higher priced than other in the area, but being able to pick your vendors saves you SO much money. So much is included in the price to rent the space, like setup, chairs, tables, cleanup, full day (some venues rent half days!), and you have the whole entire building for the day! Also, alcohol packages at other venues will run up the cost, so keep an eye out for that!-Space: Tons of it! It was roomy enough for my big wedding, but felt intimate enough for my rehearsal dinner. The groom’s suite is incredible, A++ for the guys to hang out in all day (my husband brought corn hole, so they had pool, foosball, corn hole, and college football going! Bridal suite was big enough for my 8 bridesmaids, 6 house party, and all the moms/grandmas, and aunts. PLENTY of space!-Business Ethics: The owners are angels. I have worked with plenty of venues for my job, and I’m telling you, responsiveness, flexibility, and just outright kindness seem like luxuries, but that’s what you get with Bud and Brenda. If you don’t want to just feel like a number, book with Oak & Ivy. I felt like they were invested in making my day the best!
The prettiest venue Ive ever seen! My best friend got married here and I so enjoyed being here for her big day. The details are stunning, the natural light is breathtaking & the staff is the sweetest family ive ever met 🥰

Oak + Ivy Venue is such an incredibly beautiful space. Brenda really thought of everything when designing this venue from signs above the suit hooks so there are no mix ups, to the best mirror in the bridal room! Brenda is so responsive, and made my job as the wedding planner such a breeze. I cannot wait to work my next wedding there.

What a fabulous place! Beautiful, practical, clean. Love it. I suggest they bring in a sound expert and improve some kind of way in the main hall. When someone talks on microphone, its too echo-y to understand. But beautiful and wonderful.

We absolutely loved our experience with Oak + Ivy! The owners went above and beyond our expectations to make our son and new daughter-in-laws wedding day special. The grooms suite was fantastic, as there was ample space to hang out and relax before the wedding took place. The bridal suite was also great for all of the women to prepare for the evening. Even though the day was hot, they had A/C units that are brand new and up to the task, keeping a huge main room of 200+ people comfortable throughout the day and evening. In the days leading up to the wedding, Brenda was always available herself to cater to our requests and offer suggestions. The Oak + Ivy team was very flexible and great to work with! The location is gorgeous, and the ambiance carried over from the summer day in the country to an elegant evening with a Texan charm that can be unmatched anywhere. We highly recommend Oak + Ivy to anyone considering a venue for their family wedding! Thanks, Brenda and Bud, and God Bless!

2022-05-11I had my wedding at Oak + Ivy on 4/30/2022, and it was just the most beautiful setting I couldve asked for! I knew when we came to tour back in November 2021, that this was the place! Theres so much character, so much space, so much warmth this place has, it really matched mine and my husbands personalities. The day of our wedding, there were lots of things that didnt go exactly according to plan, but the location is just incredibly beautiful and the flow is so natural and easy, it didnt matter at the end of the night if things didnt happen like they were suppose to, because all of our guests thought it was awesome regardless! Lauren, the venue manager and my day-of coordinator did an exceptional job taking care of everything the day of our wedding, helping field any questions or concerns I mightve had and making sure things went according to plan. She was so great and made sure I was taken care of as the bride first and foremost! The owners, Brenda and Bud, could not have been nicer! They were both so wonderful and easy to talk to, and they were both so accommodating and so sweet! I cannot recommend Oak + Ivy enough, I wish I could redo my wedding here again!

2020-07-14I photographed a wedding here and it was absolutely stunning in every way. I would like to be completely honest on this review and what I saw from a photographers stand point and why I gave it 5 stars.First off the lighting inside is a photographers dream. The white walls and windows allow for great natural light photography. Great for videographers as well.The Brides and Grooms quarters are on separate floors and the decor is stunning with great lighting and lots of room for your bridal party. So its very easy to make sure they dont see each other. They are spacious and very well designedThe floor plan is open so the ceremony can take place inside and be flipped after for the reception. AMAZING!It was a June wedding and the AC cooled the entire place down amazingly all night!Tons of places to photograph the couple, family and bridal party with different textures. Architectural features or nature this venue has it all!Most importantly this is a FAMILY run business and the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed in every way. They put so much love and thought in to this venue and it shows. 2021-01-12I honestly cant say enough AMAZING things about Oak + Ivy and the owners, Brenda & Bud. They are two of the most genuine people I have met, to date, and greet you with open arms and excitement lights up their face when they show you the venue. They are the definition of someone that is doing this to help out their clients experience and they are always so prompt to help you out if you have any questions. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The details inside and outside are so thought out and it made my wedding vision everything I couldve ever imagined. We got married inside with the barn doors open and the light shining in was like a dream. The pictures turned out so incredibly gorgeous and I wish I could go back to that day & do it all again just to take it in one more time. I can promise you that you can not go wrong choosing Oak + Ivy. The venue itself is worth it but what sets it a part from others, in my opinion, are the people that made it all happen. And they alone make the choice even more of the right one! You will not be disappointed.

2021-04-21We held my daughters wedding here and could not have been any happier! The owners and staff are great people, and are so responsive, and extremely helpful. They truly have a passion for making your wedding day extra special and go out of their way to do so. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and super well maintained. They are always looking for things to add to their venue, and were always doing something or another to improve over the year we were booked. We chose to have an outdoor ceremony near the pond, but we loved that we had an absolutely gorgeous rain option in the main reception room. This was one of the few venues we looked at where the staff was willing to do a complete flip after the ceremony. They have a beautiful pavilion where you could have an outdoor ceremony, or where we held our cocktail hour. The bridal suite and the grooms suite are absolutely top notch and the owners encourage you to spend the day there and enjoy! I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this beautiful, fabulously run family owned venue - they made our wedding planning easy, and our wedding just fabulous!!!

2020-12-11Oak+Ivy was our dream venue the moment we saw it, and it did not disappoint. The Bakers have put such careful thought into every detail of the venue, from the layout to the beautiful farmhouse tables to the tiling on the floor. They truly care about the bride and groom and wedding partys experience, and that is built into the design and the space. The bridal suite and grooms suite are so conducive for spending a huge chunk of time getting ready during the day, for example. Even more special is the way the Bakers look out for their customers. Brenda went above and beyond making sure we were cared for and that the day was perfect. She was so helpful in answering questions quickly and with kindness; she has a genuine heart for her brides that was felt during planning. We are so grateful to have been able to get married there!

2020-11-02I highly recommend this venue and the amazing owners! The venue sits on an incredible landscape that is amazing for wedding portraits. The inside has beautiful natural lighting, and it is a fantastic canvas for any style of decor. Best of all, Brenda and Bud are so helpful in the planning process. From the moment we booked the venue, to the day of the actual wedding, they were so gracious and kind in answering all of the questions we had. Booking our wedding at Oak + Ivy made for the most relaxed, memory filled wedding day we could have possibly had!

2021-05-22Oak and Ivy is incredible!! The space is beautiful, the room flip was seamless, they have everything down to a science! My husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Brenda and her team dealt with us so generously and graciously throughout the entire process. Our whole experience with Oak and Ivy was characterized by joy, peace and so much fun even amidst a pandemic. They get a 10/10 recommendation from us :)

2020-11-07If you are in North Texas and are looking for a venue, Oak + Ivy is top tier!My granddaughter was married there last week, and start to finish this was a wonderful experience. Lovely property, tastefully designed, brilliant in layout, and with all the support one would need from a venue to guarantee a successful event. I cannot say enough about the graciousness of the owner , Brenda, and her staff! Thank you for being a part of a very important, memorable occasion for this family!
