The old Lindendale School is over 100 years old. It is maintained by the community and is the local community center where local home owners have their monthly pot luck dinner and community meeting.From what I see it was a kit building. These buildings could be ordered from a supplier and would arrive on a rail car in load sizes that could be transferred to trucks or wagons and moved to their site to be assembled. I went to a church, when i was a child, that was an exact copy of this building. The only difference was that it came with the addition of a small steeple.
