Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
I had the seafood fettuccine and it was delicious! I was impressed with the number of shrimp and especially scallops, very generous!I was a little surprised that a small bowl of marinara to dip the breadsticks in was over $4. Seems that it should be complimentary but I guess nothing is free anymore. Yes, I know they provide breadsticks and salad but Im pretty sure the cost is rolled up into the rest of the meal... expensive but yummy.
Good experience. Not sure if the worker shortage was in effect, but it took a minute for everything to happen. Our server was very nice but very flustered. We werent upset with them, just felt sorry really. The busser couldnt comprehend when we asked for more bread sticks when we confused them for a server. Overall pleasant and good food.
Unfortunately, there were 5 young ladies “acting” as if they were in charge. They were constantly bad mouthing the other staff who were trying to be helpful. We had to ask if we were going to be seated, to this we were told 10 more minutes. There were empty tables one of which they seated us in after they “cleaned” it. The young ladies are not putting out the product that Olive Garden stands for. The Manager randomly walked around and those same ladies scattered like cockroaches.
Note: the meal was three stars, but our server, Dolores, was five stars. My pasta sauce lacked flavor, and the pasta was dry. On the flip side, our waitress was wonderful. She got everything right and gave my brothers extra mints 😂 . In general it is an ok place to eat, but it is a little bit pricey for a meal of meh quality.
Have been going here for a while now but recently it seems like the restaurant has been on a steady decline. The past couple visits the salad seemed old and so did the dressing. The bread was good as always. But the dish I got (fettuccine Alfredo) had hard noodles, a bad taste, and it even gave me an upset stomach. As for everything else, the table wasn’t clean the menus were sticky and some of the glasses were smudged up. This used to not be the case but now it’s been bad. I would love to see this change but for now it’s just not a good experience.
My friend and I had been on the road going home had traveled over 1000 miles and we were so hungry for a good meal, instead of fast food. We are so Glad that we choose Olive Garden out of all the restaurants we had to choose from we feel that we made the best decision when we chose you guys. Our meal was absolutely FABULOUS, service was FABULOUS, the entire experience we rate 11 out of 10. Dont pass this place up yall, it is a must stop and enjoy!!! Thank you too all the staff that served us.
Poor service. The table was unwashed and took a while to get it washed. The table behind us actually flagged down people standing around to wash our table. They were clearly unsatisfied as well. Underneath the table was covered in trash. Soup was watered down. Breadsticks were too salty. Meals sat under hot line so long the noodles were crunchy but meals were cold. I love olive garden but this did not hit the mark.
Brought in a party of 12 on a Saturday night. The wait wasn’t too bad considering the party size and the time. The waiter (Anthony, I think) was outstanding. Everything was brought promptly and he was very friendly and nice. He was even laughing and joking with the kids and made them have fun also. We were dining with family that we don’t see often and he made the experience a great one! Food was good, as usual.
A1 customer service came here on a date night with my wife went to a fancier establishment earlier that even and had a bad experience! Walk in OGs(olive garden and had a greetings and small conversation from the front door all the way to the chef def great way yo end our date night!!
We are a family of 6, we just drove in from Colorado and were excited to eat here. We got seated pretty quick, which was awesome! Unfortunately, our waiter was not so welcoming. ( young guy, blonde, we couldn’t pronounce his name, started with “M”). He walked up and was talking to us but at the same time, tossing our straws to us individually, but on the table. My husband asked for sugar packets for his tea and the waiter went to get them. He came up behind my husband with 5 packets and threw them over my husbands left shoulder! Whenever we would ask him for something, he would say “ what?” Like if we were bothering him. The food was fantastic! Wish the customer service was as well.
Well I havent been here in a few years. My niece wanted to go for her birthday. So today my aunt calls ahead for a 16 top. When we get there, the staff know nothing about it and we had to wait close to 40 minutes on a table. That was fun with a my 1 and a half year old daughter! Anyway we finally get seated. Our main waiter will be ( nameless ) and his helper was Joseph. The only reason I gave it 2 star instead of 1 was because of Joseph. Really friendly, helpful and just a nice person. On the other hand the other guy ( nameless ) just put off a creep vibe. He was short with a couple of people in the party. Also overheard him say we were a pain to one of the other tables behind us. The food took forever to come out. ( nameless ) said we were just waiting on a couple plates 2 or 3 times. So I guess the other plates were just sitting there. My food was barely warm. My daughters spaghetti looked like it was sitting out for a good hour. We had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. They were cold and tasted like dirty. My chicken was so chewy and stringy. Then they couldnt find the cake we brought. Really just a very poor dinner. I understand that it takes a lot of work for a 16 top. I totally get that. It just could of gone better. Maybe wash your mushrooms before you cook them. Maybe bring out the plates that are ready so they are not getting cold. Idk. Dont think we will be going back for a long time. Great job Joseph! You really were a great waiter!
Let’s say that, hypothetically, you really did have unlimited breadsticks. Now, since they are unlimited, that means that you will never run out. However, on Earth there is a limited supply of the materials required to make breadsticks. Thus, if I were to attempt to eat as many breadsticks as possible, I would not be able to as eventually you would sell out, am I correct? Now that we have established that there are infinite breadsticks but finite supplies to make them, would it not be reasonable to conclude that you are either breaking the laws of physics, or are lying to me? And since one cannot break the laws of physics, logically you must be lying to me. Facts don’t care about your feelings liberals, you have committed the crime of false advertising and must give me free food or I will inform the authorities.
Even though it was a Saturday night and there were 12 in our party, our wait was short, and the hostess kept us informed during our wait. Italian food is not my favorite, but everything last night was so delicious! Im glad I came. And Anthony was a great server. Its been a long time since weve had a server as delightful as him. He had all of us laughing, and he even helped my wife with her Spanish.
Absolutely disgusted with the service and management. The bartender was our waitress and she was down right rude as could be, when we first arrived there was no one to seat us for 15 minutes then out of nowhere there were 20 people at the front waiting to seat people, and the management was poor. The food was terrible and thats coming from a repeat customer.
We took my 90 yr old grandmother for her birthday. We let then know when we called ahead, let them know when we checked, told the hostess who seated us, and told the waitress when she took our drink orders. After she brought the bill I asked about it. I was told it was not required for her to sing. Then told me that I had to request it. After she left the table the waiter behind us sang happy birthday to the table behind us. Super disappointed. Worst experience ever. Will not be back.
Everything is great at this place except the hostesses. I understand things get busy but it’s no right to treat customers like they are nothing. I requested for a table closer to the back of the place so it could be more comfortable with my kids. I even said we didn’t mind waiting longer. The hostess this evening rolled her eyes at me and acted disgusted. Then, it seemed like she purposely let others go before us towards the back of the place even though we were there before the other customers. After waiting for 30+ minutes with my kids, we just left. My kids were very upset. There was only 4 in my party. I understand it’s hard getting to people to work right now but it doesn’t excuse for rude customer service. We will not be coming to this location.
Sticky dessert menu. When I showed it to the bartender he put it away without wiping at Off. He cleared dirty dishes onto a clean work surface. When those dishes were finally removed they did not wipe down the Area. Bartender not once washes hands, And when from clearing dirty dishes to serving drinks without hand sanitation.Went back 7/13/19. Dirty silverware, dirty coffee carafe, dirty dishes on work surfaces, than a cheese grater was placed were the dishes were. I refused cheese on my food, which I love. I asked to speak to manager, at first he insisted that silverware had water spots.... you decide from pictures
We ordered take out from the Olive Garden on I-40 West in Amarillo while staying at a nearby motel. It was handled very efficiently. It was well packed with everything we needed to eat in our room. The attendant brought the order to my car. She was very nice and the food was delicious 😋👍
The last time we ate here the service and food was not to par. The manager was great than, well it was the same manager and he must of remembered us. We got a table really quick,it took a min for our server to come so he made sure we were taking care of all this without trying to let us know but pay attention... server she was great, the food delicious such a great time!!!
Their breadsticks were good several years ago. Im not sure what they changed but now Fazolis owns the best garlic bread recipe. Their prices also went up in a huge way. For a plate of pasta(pasta doesnt cost much to make), it now costs over $16. I wish regular peoples wages could keep up with all these giant corporations expectations.
The side salads we ordered had old lettuce that at one point you could tell was stored in too cold of a temperature...when advised of it they only comped the extra 99 cents for one of them and did not offer to replace the sides. Then when we ordered a different meal since my daughter didnt like what she ordered they asked if wanted it to go since they closed Im 15 minutes and we declined...then had someone else come by our table and pretty much told us we didnt have an option and then 5 till 10 they rushed us out....we wont be back
Amazing food and atmosphere. The table next to me was having a Going Away dinner for their son who was leaving the next day for Marine basic training. We visited with them and wished him luck and thanked him for his willingness to serve. Please keep this young man and all the people in the military in your prayers
Only because i have to leave a star. Our waiter did great. However took forever to get our food. then it was wrong. I asked to speak to mgr he chickened out. offered a free desert. Well. Armondo have fun getting my business again. And i hope everyone that reads this knows this service from management is unacceptable
Just left there! It was just two of us but we must have been invisible. We sat there 15 minutes and no one came to our table to wait on us. There were at least 6 servers talking to each other that I could see. A party of 3 sat at table right next to us and waitress went straight to their table to take their order! We looked at each other and got up and left! Will remember this Olive Garden and never stop there again!
This is more food chain than it is Italian restaurant. Soups are good, and there are a few dishes you can order that taste good, but a lot of the dishes seem like they are packaged, not fresh. Ive had several bad experiences here... being served frozen calamari from sams club because they ran out of calimari and when asked to make something slightly different than the way it was on the menu the server stated they couldnt do that because its not the way it comes to them... I continue to eat here because my wife loves the soups, but Id suggest finding another Italian eatery if youre in the mood for some quality Italian food.
Literally been here an hour already and still waiting to get taken order for drinks, we waited 45 minutes to be seated when there were several tables and big ones for our party which I don’t see why we couldn’t be seated earlier. I’ll keep you updated on the restChanged it to 3 stars because the manager was helpful enough to take our order personally and brought out our drinks.
Went during lunch and the service was great, our waitress was awesome. The food, unfortunately, was pretty average. Our appetizer, cheese sticks, was spot on. The salad was good, as usual. The bread sticks were hard and tough to eat. Our second batch of bread sticks werent much better. The lasagna was good, but not great...reminded me of heat/serve. Over all, it was a decent lunch experience.
Food was OK. Paid the bill with CC, did not leave tip on CC but gave the server cash. When I got home and checked the charges they had added a 20% tip which I did not check the box for. Called the manager and they said they would credit it but as of 4 days later no credit has shown yet.
Today was not great. Our server Kayden was awesome, the manager was knowledgeable and understanding but the kitchen and other team servers seemed to be having problems. The meats were slightly overcooked or in the case of the steak blackened and the kitchen told our server we had already received the shrimp. Which to his dismay we had not received and promptly went to the kitchen then the manager. We did leave happy because of our server and the understanding management despite the kitchen blunders.
If I could give a 0 star review I would. This is the second time my husband and I have tried to go here for lunch. As we entered we were wearing our masks and a mildewed rag smell permeated through the mask. Second time we have smelled this horrible smell at this restaurant. We sat down and waited some time before our tea arrived and it was so light the waitress even commented about it yet did not make any fresh tea. I truly believe it was the cleaning water from the night before as it also had a chemical taste. We cancelled our order with the hostess and she did not even try to see why we were leaving or try to make it better. Customer service is non existent.Never going back!!
Oh my goodness,,, How can I not LOVE Olive Garden... waitress was amazing, food was amazing, however there was a female employee (dont know if she was managment or not) come and close the blinds at our table. She didnt say excuse me would yall like for me to close your blinds or anything, she just reached over my grandmother scaring her and closed them, as we were pointing outside & talking about the vehicles.... That part I was not impressed with..
Great food, the place was busy but they found us a table relatively quickly. The server was quickly there took our drink orders. She also gave great recommendations for appetizers and the main meal. The drinks (alcoholic) arrived quickly, the apps and the meal were both hot and the order was correct. The manager was visible on the floor, and stopped by our table to make sure everything was OK. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing and had a great attitude even though at the time she had 6 tables she was taking care of. Very professional looking place, the restaurant was clean and the staff stayed on top of the cleanliness even as busy as they were. It was a very enjoyable experience and we most definitely will be back. Thank you to the staff and manager at Olive Garden keep up the great work and thank you for the great experience!
It was my moms birthday today and she wanted to eat at Olive Garden. I always order the same thing, chicken alfredo. Our server was Lauren, and she was the nicest server I think I have ever met, and I am a server myself. She helped me try something new, besides the usual. Im glad I did, I tried the pick-your-own combination and it was pretty awesome. I got the angel hair noodles with the 5 cheese marinara sauce with grilled chicken and shrimp. It was pretty good, but wasnt life changing or anything. The important thing was that my mom had a great time and the service was awesome! The food isnt really the best as far as authentic Italian food is concerned, its all about the service and atmosphere. I was very impressed by Lauren and her service, totally worth the trip. Thank you Lauren for a great night. My only criticism is that the bread sticks were hard, which should never happen, but oh well. 4 stars only because the service was amazing, the food is just average still. It would be a different story if the food was fresh. Thank you Lauren for making my moms birthday a good one!
Food was amazing!! Our server, Kisha was awesome and always on point with drinks, conversation and whatever we needed. Diana had the unlimited soup and bread sticks. Of course I had to try it...Lol...and it was amazing! I had the build your own pasta. Ooo man!! So good with the shrimp. We had a bottle of Pink Moscato. Went perfectly with our meal. Awesome food, awesome service, awesome evening for Diana and Me at the Olive Garden.
1 1/2 - 2 hour wait for party of 2👎 Ill just go to Palios better food and hospitality anyways... The point being you lost a $100 sale and any potential repeat business. So if that happens 20 times in 2 hours your not in the business of making money. Your in the business of failure. Time is money.
Typical Fast Casual dining. Our Service was horrible. There were 3 tables that were seated after we ordered and got their food before we got ours. We brought it to the Managements attention and the food came out as the Manager was on his way to the back. We were told that the Manager would take care of it on our bill, but the bill was just like we ordered with no reductions. We were trying to get to a family event and were in a hurry. (we had been there 90 Min), so we just paid and left.Olive Garden in general has changed. Marinara tastes like its from a can, I know it is, but it shouldnt taste like it. All of the food has a general mouth feel of ground beef, and they have done something to the bread-sticks that makes them tougher and grittier than I remember from days of old.Ive tried 3 Olive Gardens in 3 different cities in the last 6 months and theyre food is all the same, as it should be for a chain, but its not good food by any means.
Ok , the food was great and I picked the food up that I ordered after phoning it in. I ordered two salads and lasagna. They only gave me 2 bread sticks instead of four what really upset me was I used a gift card which had extra money and the asked for additional money for a tip. It is not like I went in to eat dinner. It was curb side pickup and i dont appreciate her asking for additional tip money which i gave her. I probably will not go back to that restaurant until they open for customers
I would highly not recommend this particular Olive Garden. A little background information is that I’m from out of town and I do not have a vehicle to drive so I have to Uber/Lyft to get around Amarillo. I visited back at the end of January and ordered a decent amount of food. Upon receiving my order I saw the slip that I see in my hometown stating that they basically verified your order so I didn’t bother to check the bag, my first mistake. I got back to my hotel room and realized that something was missing and immediately I called and notified the restaurant. The person I spoke with offered for me to return to get the missing item and I notified her how I was getting around and to Uber/Lyft back to the restaurant and then back to my hotel would have costed me more money than the item was worth and that I wanted a refund for the missing item. She said she would let the manger know so that he could personally credit it back to my account. Days later the charge for the full amount, including the missing item, was charged to my card. I called again to have the item refunded back to me. I was promised a call back from a supervisor or manger with the outcome and when I should expect for it to be refunded back to me. I finally ended up getting my refund but I shouldn’t have had to call as many times as I did. The lack of communication and trust is the reason I rated this restaurant the way I did. If the order was correct then there never would have been a problem and if the first woman that I spoke with would had did what she said she was going to do then my satisfaction would have been a lot higher.
Ordered curbside, food was 20 minutes late again. Yes again, food was not hot and they forgot the breadsticks. Manager comped the meal but that’s not what I was after. I just wanted a hot meal! This is a problem with Olive Garden and Cheddars, who are owned by the same group. Haven’t had a hot meal the last three times. Three strikes your out!
Me and my boyfriend went out for a date, the two girls at the hostess post were unfriendly and came off rude. Once we sat down Kaden took good care of us and always checked on us at the right moment. So thank you for the servers great attitude wich gave us a great dinner.
This is the second time in a few months that our togo order took almost 2 hours to put together and get to our car. With as much money as it cost for family meals, it would be nice to be able to feed them within a reasonable amount of time. If pickup time is 50 min, noone should have to wait in their car for another hour before their Paid for food arrives. Our Large side of alfredo sauce was a complete joke, $6 is way too much for the amount we received. Ill be emailing the corporate as well, whole ordeal was definitely a RIP off.
I suggested Olive Garden, my out of town guest was familiar and pleased. We both ordered the chicken alfredo - she requested angel hair pasta instead of common used for dish - told no problem. Quick order and timely served-- tasty salad, yummy bread sticks and pleasant server. As meal progressed, she eventually noticed wrong pasta. She ate some, waiting for server, who finally appeared and offered to make right but guest thought too late so just asked for to go and ticket. All went downhill. Server did not return so 12-15 min layer, manager comes by so we could pay and just leave - he told us to pay with cc and pointed to machine. We said we had cash ($100), after 2 more times to pay the machine he finally paided attention and took money - never to return. We continued to wait, 10+ min, we ask another to find our waitress. She brought large amounts of change/ due $49.chg - returned 2x$20.00 +$10.00. Left embarrased /irritated.
We ordered for pickup for my wifes birthday and the food was pretty much a letdown. Her chicken alfredo had almost no alfredo sauce and the noodles were stuck together and dry. I ordered the chicken marsala and my noodles were the same; hardly any alfredo sauce and dry and sticjy. Plus no bread sticks came with our order. Not a great meal to say the least.
Absolutely loved dinner! Our server was patient, polite, and punctual and the meal was just gorgeous. The chicken and shrimp carbonara was bursting with flavor. Wonderful suggestions by Jackson elevated our dining experience to a new level. So hot and delicious, definitely coming back for more!
Olive Garden has uped its game. Its still industrial American-Italian. But its better than it used to be. The scampi recipe has changed for the better, the fried calamari has nicer sauces, and Im pretty sure they improved their Alfredo sauce. For fast American-Italian its ok.
We arrived before the supper rush, but it still took awhile to get waited on. The food was good overall. However, the salad was not up to their usual quality...lots of yellow lettuce and almost too little dressing. Our waitperson seemed a little disorganized. Still, despite these shortcomings, a decent dining experience.
While generally awesome this visit wasnt the breadsticks were hard waiter did get us some new ones , the lasagna seriously looked as though it was just plopped on the plate , salad was sparse as was the dressing although our waiter was efficient, he didnt smile and was almost too professional . We drove all the way from Clovis . I probably wont be back to this location as it left a bad taste in my mouth . I did not ask for the manager , because we just wanted to leave as fast as possible
Our waitress was great she was just too busy. They need less tables being assigned during rush hours. The salad we got, which I look forward to was obviously old. It was limp and soggy. I did like the fact they split up the plates for me when I told her my daughter and me were sharing. It took forever to get a drink from the bar I was almost too full to drink it by the time I got it. Again more staff is needed there during busy hours. Overall it was ok just not the night out we anticipated
I decide years ago to stop eating at Olive Garden because it was overpriced and the service always stunk. Daughter wanted to go here for her birthday so we agreed we would. Tried getting on wait list online but if your party is over 6 you have to call. I called ahead to get on the wait list for a table for 8. The voice attendant said to press 2 for wait list and it would say not available and return to the beginning. So i pressed 3, was asked if I could hold and before I could answer was hung up on. I called back same immediately asked me if I could hold and placed me on hold before I could respond. Set on hold for 6 minutes as we drove to the restaurant. Finally talked to a live person who said there was not a wait so no need to be placed on list. We arrived and was told it would be a wait for a table for 8. All the time they kept seating multiple parties ahead of us. This is why I called ahead but they said no wait. After 35 minutes we finally got seated then we sat for 5 minutes before a waitress ever came by our table. Not even a hi I will be with you in a minute as she pasted by. Finally was able to order. Most was okay but the minestrone was bland and watered down. The spaghetti came out with barely any meat sauce on it about a third of what it needed. My wife had calamari and mushroom dish, she has never meet a mushroom dish she didnt like. But after one bite she said they were mushy and all she could taste was cornmeal. My daughter had the fried Lasagna and it was not good. We all tasted it and agreed that the grease used to fry it was old, which was also apparent with the Mozilla sticks. Paid $2.85 for tea and never received a refill on any of our drinks. Even when I held up my glass to get the waitress attention she walked on by.Waitress was friendly enough but not very attentive, workers seem really unhappy. The older blond hostess was incredibly rude to us and the other hostesses.Daughter did get a desert for her birthday but said next time we should just go to Fazolis they have better food.ONE STAR IS ONLY BECAUSE HAVE TO PUT ONE. Deserve zero stars.
The waiter initially seemed friendly. We ordered and received our salad and soup in reasonable time, but our meals arrived quickly there after, so the timing was not great. The waiter seemed put out when I asked for a second bowl of soup. After we finished eating, we were visiting and catching up. The waiter asked if we needed anything else. When we said no, he informed us that his family was waiting for a table and asked us to leave because he needed the table. As we walked out... We noticed a number of empty tables and NO ONE in the waiting area. I believe the waiters name was Trent. Tall with glasses.
We stopped by this Olive Garden on an overnight pit stop in Amarillo on our way home from Colorado last Saturday evening. Ordered curbside takeout an hour in advance. We arrived at the designated time, pulled into a spot, and called to let them know we were there. The man who answered the phone said they’d be right out with our order. We sat there for 25 minutes watching them bring out other curbside orders and decided to give them another call to make sure everything was good with ours. Didn’t want to be impatient since It was Saturday evening dinner time. (We ordered 2 minestrone soups, an appetizer fried mozzarella, kids pasta and a cheese ravioli. Easy stuff.) the woman who answered the phone this time was much less friendly than the man I originally spoke to. I politely asked her if they had an ETA for our order after being put on hold for five minutes (it was now 30 minutes pst when we arrived).. she told me they were just waiting on breadsticks and it would be about five minutes. I voiced my concern about the order being cold and she said “it was fine, its sitting under the lamps in the kitchen”. Sat there another 20-25minutes until our order finally arrived. Everything in the order was cold, including the breadsticks that we were “waiting on” minus the two soups that were boiling hot, so hot they had to sit 10 mins before we could eat them. Which was impossible anyway since they didn’t bring any silverware (even though I requested it when prompted online and it showed up on the receipt as a request). If we hadn’t already paid online we would never have stuck around. Worst experience ever! Contacted corporate asking for a refund, was told the manager would contact me directly and I never heard a thing. If you’re passing through on a road trip, definitely skip this place. Horrible service
So disappointed. Waited 30 minutes to be seated in a slow time only to find they gave our table away to the wrong name. We wouldve never been seated had I not asked. Finally seated we waited a ridiculous time to receive our food because our waitress was occupied with a large group that demanded all her attention. This was not her fault as management shouldve planned better than to overload her with too many tables. She tried to make up for it after the party left but she was flustered and part of our order was wrong. The food was good but the overall experience was poor. I would expect much more from a national chain restaurant with years of experience. Wont go back
We ordered a salad 2 days ago, and the lettuce was very dirty. And we go there all the time but this time my sister had a reaction to this salad, and now she has to take 3 different medicines and 2 different vitamins. Normally the food is very good and there is no problems, but this time it was just awful.
Ordered for pickup. Arrived at our appointed time. After waiting for 20 minutes I went in side to find out that our food had just been sitting on a table getting cold. The store smelt horrible like walking into a truck stop bathroom. The food we received was cold so we had to heat it in the microwave and it tasted foul.Do not recommend ever eating here
Today marks my birthday and I am in fact a very loyal customer to several olive gardens, partly because I travel often with my husband and kids , I do think El paso and dallas are better than here in Amarillo, soup needs to be cooked longer so that knoccis are soft and the shrimp cooked better. I was disappointed in the food quality for the money we spent.
Came at noon on a weekday and we were seated immediately. I cant remember the name of our server but he was fantastic. Very quick service, he brought our check out early because he saw my husband was in uniform and had to go back to work as soon as we were finished, offered to go drinks, full bowls, offered refills before we were empty on drinks and soup. The food was great as well. Best olive garden experience thus far.
Hi. Me and my mom where here literally expecting to eat. We called for someone over ten times and none of the waiters responded. We also couldn’t figure out the little tablet thing and so we were waiting there. The tables who got there after us got waters and we were just doing nothing. We didn’t even get drinks. No one came to us. For over 30 minutes. I expect something better if I ever come again.
Just went for dessert and coffee. Our waiter was great. But, the atmosphere in this restaurant is a little icky. It just seems dirty. The dessert menu even had some kind of greasy film on it, the floors werent clean --- even visible trash on the floor in the entryway. The whole place just looks run down and unclean. I really just wanted to leave and wash my hands. Wont be back.
The restaurant is not busy..but even for 2 to be seated it is a 10 to 15 minute wait. People keep walking out, telling the hostess, they are going else where. Maybe they are short on help? We have 3 adults and 2 babies so we have been waiting 20 minutes. Finally got seated..Our waitress Jordan was attentive and friendly. The food was great. We each had the create your own pasta dish. We also tried a new appetizer the dip duo, spinach and kale and the other spicy chicken alfredo both were really good. Jordan and the food helped make up our minds to try Olive Garden again but if the hostess are rude again we will walk out.
Terrible company, doesnt care for their workers. Majority of the food is microwaved. The owner is a cheapskate who wont give his employees raises and the GM fired two of my freinds who recently worked their because they didnt want to give them the back pay they owed them. I used to work here years ago but I quit due to the work environment getting worse so I know alot of the workers at the company and they all hate working there, its sad how they treat their workers
Our visit to Olive Garden was great this evening! The service was prompt and pleasant. Clarisse was also very friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was fresh and delicious, and we took home leftovers for tomorrow. I am sure that my husband and I will be visiting again soon.
Olive Garden will always be a cheap, classic Italian restaurant where Im never dissatisfied with my order. Food comes out relatively quick and is always delicious. I ordered their stuffed ravioli with mushrooms and still had plenty of leftovers for a later dinner. Their alcoholic drinks are wonderful (I especially enjoy the more fruity options they have during the summer time). Always a great time as a date idea and I will consistently come here when I have a little extra money to spend!
Ordered to go for my Mother’s Day dinner. Placed order at 5:50 said it wouldn’t be ready till 7. Okay its Mother’s Day I understand. Show up at 7 wait till 7:30 for my order, get home bread sticks cold and mushy from sitting in bag hot, cold pasta/cold chicken and no dressing for my salad. Ridiculous Olive Garden I would of never thought I needed to check my bag. Thank you for ruining my Mother’s Day dinner. I called to let them know the phone had been ringing for 15minutes no answer...
We were there tonight, a table of 8. The breadsticks were hard. We litetally sat there for 2 hours and half our party had to get their food to go. As a matter of fact they paid for their food before they ever even saw food. We had a special needs client with us and thankfully at least he got to eat. The manager came and had nothing but a crummy attitude even did the dramatic head shake thing, the CHEF came and offered apologies even offered a discount on our bill (whuch wr never got) we FINALLY got out food and it had been microwaved. Chicken was dry and the potatoes were scalding hot but only in thr middle. We thanked and generously tipped our waiter Jullien and left. Worst experience i have ever had at a restaurant
Food was awesome. Service could be improved we were never checked on. My husband had to hunt down our waiter to get a to go box and then had to hunt him down again to get our check and we ended up having to find someone to take our money cause our waiter again disappeared. Loved the food but hated the service.
I ordered from Olive Garden Thursday 4/23/2020 thru a curbside service and the food was horrible!! I ordered shrimp and chicken carbonara and the pasta was so dry no sauce at all and the tiramisu was melted. Not what I expected from the restaurant I will remember this when everything opens back up will not be on my favorites. Customers giving workers a chance to keep your jobs and get substandered food!
Im a lover of Olive Garden. Recently went for Valentines dinner. It was a mad house. We were told it would be an hour & half wait for seating. Instead we decided to sit by the bar. Our server Sheila, was AWESOME, food was good, & given the atmosphere was super busy, we still enjoyed ourselves. 4 stars only because had we not gone to the bar to order drinks while waiting, another couple would have not told us to use a table there to eat. It was thoughtful of them but I wondered why none of the staff there offered that to us while waiting.
Our waitress was very nice and the food was good, but they were out of several menu options and we ended up not being able to get what we really wanted. Their menu is not very big to begin with so its rather disappointing when they dont have what you want. It also took awhile to get breadsticks and salad as they came out after our appetizer and the breadsticks were pretty dry. But our entrees made up for it a little.
My experience was not all that great today. The service was not great. We could tell our food sat in the window for a while my husbands lasagna was not even hot. My chicken parm. Eas so tough around the edges and not hot also. We paid withh a hundred dollar bill the server asks.... you need any change? Also she reached over my husbands plate to take a drink he wasnt quite finished with. Wont go back for a long while. Very dissatisfied
Service was great! Food was ok. Salad was just chunks of left over lettuce and badly any dressing which made it bland. Bread sticks were hard and lukewarm. The meal was pretty tasty and dessert was good. Just an ok experience, but the service was super quick for our group of 7 so that made it better.
Usually visit for lunch here. It is a busy place with a waiting time of up to 20 minutes. I was offered a bar seat and didnt have to wait. The food is excellent, I enjoyed the unlimited soup and salad. The service was a little slow and not too attentive on my last visit.
When we got our bill... it was very expensive... for myself it was $30.00. And I shared a meal with my sister... and her bill was $28.00. For a glass of wine it was $9.00... an only get about 4 sips from it. They dont have the PRICES on some of the items... and, the advertisment on the table, said buy 1 meal and get another meal for $5.00. I never got the 2 meal to take home... Very Disappointed with our visit...
We love this place! Always courteous, helpful, and willing to help you. Even showed up extremely late one evening and they were still happy to serve. We asked before we sat down because it was closer to closing than we thought. They were almost insistent for us to sit! visited several times and never had a bad meal!
Worst experience ever. Ive been going to this restaurant since it opened. This time was the worst. I walked in expecting to wait 20 minutes to order my food and wait for my FRESH meal. It took the kitchen 2 minutes to put my Tour of Italy together. The Chicken Parmesan was hard, the bread sticks were hard and terrible. The salad had rust on the leaf lettuce and the spinach was badly wilted. I ate what I could but before I could finish my meal my stomach felt queasy... Really people, THIS WAS MY SUPPER...!!!
Went with a large group at noon today. I ordered the all you can eat soup and salad. I received my soup after most of the party had finished their meals. There was also no gnocchi in it at all. We were there for almost 2 hours and by the time I received a 2nd bowl of soup the gnocchi in it was very mushy and my family was ready to leave but we still had to wait about 15 more minutes for our separate checks. It wasnt very busy so Im not quite sure what was going on today. Highly disappointed.
We left before being served because of the fact that we waited for thirty minutes and never did receive any acknowledgement that we were seated by any wait staff. It was very disappointing because this was our favorite place due to the professionalism of the staff as well as the quality of the food. We have decided to take a break from here and try some other places. We were not the only ones who walked out that day. Maybe just a bad day?
Tried to have a nice, rare, lunch without the kids. Olive Garden ruined it BIGTIME. We were there for over an hour n half. Food took 45 mins. Eat, but tried to get seconds, mistake. Charged for a whole extra meal n they had to run my credit card 3 times to still overcharge me. WOW! Only a meek sorry! I held my cool n was very polite till the complaint to the front lady. Waitress was friendly! Food barely worth eating. Feel sorry for my stomach!
Food is eh! Obviously out of a bag and not from scratch. The desserts on the other hand were delicious and the service was excellent! I hadnt been since my teenage years (late 90s) and hoped something had changed but no luck. If it wasnt so pricey it might be a place worth going back to but as for me and my family we will stick to Pescaraz!
Service was outstanding. New stuffed chicken marsala was very, very disappointing, it doesnt taste good at all. The old marsala was amazing. Breadsticks arent good anymore, they didnt have the classic butter and garlic topping like they used to, they were bland and dry. The floor was super dirty. Like family buffet dirty. They seemed very understaffed. To be quite honest, my server was one of the best Ive had dining out, ever. Ill probably try to hire him off you this week to run one of my local restaurants. As for the Olive Garden, it will be some time until I try it again.
Good food, good service, hostesses had no clue what they were doing, the THREE of them talked for awhile about were to seat us. Should have just sat us and then figured out what server was going to serve us. Not rocket science, but they were just kids who needed more direction. This was our only issue not that big of a deal.
This is why I hate chains. Olive Garden sums it up nicely. But I had a gift card so might as well. First I had a pitcher of Sangria to myself. I might as well have been drinking Kool-Aid because the alcohol content was non-existent. I had the spaghetti with marinara meatballs and shrimp. The marinara was this Milky creamy stuff that had zero flavor to it. The breadsticks were old and somewhat hardened. On top of that they were out of a lot of items, the waitress told me that Monday is the worst time to come because they are out of a lot of things. On top of that they were out of the little chocolate mint things and had no care whatsoever. Let this be a lesson to all of you, eat local and avoid chains like the plague.
Weve been to a lot of Olive Gardens through Texas and New Mexico, and this one sure was a disappointment. The hosts were unfriendly, and our waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional. Weve always been able to substitute the regular noodles for the gluten free rotini as my husband and I are both allergic to wheat, and she flatly said she couldnt do it. After explaining how weve always been able to do it at other locations she irritably said she would talk to her manager but that it was unlikely. When she came back later she said they were all out so wed just have to get something different. She was rude the rest of the time that we were there. Very disappointing experience for my family.
Service was slow, recieved my soup after my entree. Ordered Alfredo with our bread sticks, both orders were barely warm up in arrival to the table. I had to fetch containers myself, to pack up our food to take with us. The manager, was never seen in the hour hour and half visit.
Today my family and I went to Olive Garden about 7:45 expecting to have a good birthday dinner for my daughter. Our experience was fantastic thanks to our amazing server Jackson. However, there was one issue that ruined our experience, and that was the general manager Paul Olivera. He came to check on us while Jackson was at the table. He started to harass Jackson and belittle him, saying things like “don’t give Jackson a hard time, or else he will go cry in the back for the third night straight”. The only reason I have this establishment a 5 star rating was because of Jackson, and I will be calling the corporate office tomorrow to file a complaint about the harassing and very rude general manager, Paul.
I ordered the Valentine’s Day special over the phone after waiting 40 minutes on the phone. The lady that answered assured me that I could get the special without chicken, and advised me that my order would be ready in about an hour. I get there after the time, wait in line for another forty minutes, just for the lady to say that she lost our order. She finally found it, but said it had chicken. I told her that I wanted it without chicken, and she said they couldn’t do that. When I said what I was told, she advised me to leave. This whole ordeal for measly pasta is ridiculous. I couldn’t believe how rude the staff was.
Had a terrible waitress at first. We asked her for bread sticks and salad first before our meal as an appetizer...she said sure... 20 minutes later finally got our drinks. Then I told her 3 times I have a dairy allergy need no cheese on the salad and bring balsamic vinegar for my dressing. She brings me a salad with no dressing asked her again the 4th time can I have the balsamic vinegar she said sure and brings me the Italian dressing that has DAIRY in it. As she is about to set the salad on the table she holds the salad bowl really high in the air and looks at us, like why are you not moving everything out of the way. Doesnt ask for us to move it, just hold the salad up and looks at us for a full minute or so. Then she makes fun of the other girls at the table by saying okay single girls side really loud what would you like to have... really, are you kidding me. She did so much more, and I wont put all of it on here...but after an hour of bad service we asked for a new waitress... the old waitress didnt even put our order in so the new waitress had to redo our order. The new waitress was great, she definitely made up for it and even gave us free dessert at the end which we appreciated. As we finished our meal the old, terrible waitress thought it would be okay to tell every other waiter about us making it very obvious she was talking about us and rolling her eyes. I am disappointed that Olive Garden thinks that is okay to let your waiters or waitresses act that way. I will not be going back to Olive Garden again. I do want to say thank you to the other waitress that stepped in though and took care of everything after our bad experience. She is the only reason why I gave yall a 2 star review otherwise it would be a 0.
Showed up at 9pm exactly (they close at 10pm I asked. Iv worked in food industry and I Understand is frustrating when people walk in 5 minutes before closing). The host was very friendly and welcoming. Their was 5 groups plus us. Not busy. Our server was horrible. She did not bring us silverware or napkins like the other tables. We had to ask for bread when we got our salad, she seemed surprised we wanted some (we watched as other tables got bread, silverware with their salad) our bread was cold and hard. We ran out of soda and had to ask her for more. She didnt bring butter either. When our food finally came, it was not warm. I got the endless pasta and after finishing it I asked for another. She DID look at my plate when she passed by and didnt offer us more soda nor more food. Our receipt says Tiffany C. As a manager I understand we get new employees who are still learning however when I watched her at another table, It was night and day diffrence. She refilled their drinks, offered more salad. At other tables they were asked if they wanted Appetizers, and at the end, desserts. We were not. My husband and I ate here because we both finally had off of work and wanted a good place to eat for Our anniversary. HUGE mistake to come here
The food and service decent. However, maybe a little more attention should be paid while cashing tickets out because we got charged for two different tickets when we only had one, they did correct it right away but we still havent receive the refund and it was the last weekend in January.
Went on a sunday. The wait was 25 min. There pager system was broken, yet they had a sign behind the reservation stand stating if you take your pager to the bar you get your wine half off while you wait. Seemed like everyone was running around. Not enough servers at all. There were big areas in the restaurant that were not being used due to lack of workers or just bad management. We were at the bar waiting and a server came up and spoke to the manager who was in the bar area very disrespectful!! Then they seat us in an area where the air conditioner did not work. Server did apologize, but this made our experience very uncomfortable. The salad plates are suposed to be cold and they were hot, they could have ran them under cold water!! Server lady was great. However due to the over all experience here, we will not return.
Service was terrible. Looks like a few of the waiters were fresh out of prison. Tattoos all over going all the way up there neck. One was buzzing around like he was high on something. Breadsticks were hard my Zuppa Toscana was cold and the salad was overbearing was dressing and Soggy Ive been to many Olive Gardens by far I will never go back to this one and I would not recommend anybody go there Olive Garden you need to clean up your personnel and present a more professional inviting environment and cover up those disgusting tattoos going up the side of peoples necks look like a bunch of gang Bangerz
We came here after a long drive from Colorado and thought we cant go wrong with Olive Garden. Wow, I was wrong! Not even going to talk about our waiter. That is always a hit and miss, but the food! It was the worst meal I had at Olive Garden ever! All our food was cold, the lasagne on the Tour of Italy was not edible at all. Even the presentation of the food was bad. I love Olive Garden, but stay away from this location if you want good service and good food! Very disappointed!

2022-01-04Our table was poorly, poorly cleaned. We ourselves had to remove a cloth napkin and used knife that was left behind. Our server was kind and sweet but her fingernails were disgustingly dirty and filthy. These were her natural nails that hadn’t been washed and cleaned properly. I cringed every time she placed an item on the table. The food was good and prepared hot and speedy. However, I wonder what the kitchen looks like if the dining area and employees both lacked sanitation and proper hygiene.

2022-05-17The was decent, but over priced. The bread was too salty. The service was EXCELLENT. The salad was big. I had the build your own pasta with mushroom sauce, meatballs, and chicken frita. Mine was delicious, except for the meatballs. My companion had the chicken scampi. It didnt come with enough sauce. She said the chicken was o.k. and she liked the peppers. We had the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. We both agreed that we could have each gotten one of those instead of our meals. We ordered a spaghetti and meatballs to go for my husband. He was underwhelmed.

2022-07-15When we got here the staff opened the door for us. They helped get my dads wheelchair in. Everyone was super nice from the get go. Then our waitress Ieasha was spectacular. She made our dining experience a happy one. Altogether a great time. Well be back.

2022-03-28Went for the endless salad and soup. Of course, only had one helping of the soup, it was delicious. But most of all, our waiter was so attentive and he checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. Really enjoyed the waiter. He was a very nice man. Will be going back for the endless soup, salad and bread sticks. And to finish off we ordered their new creamy strawberry cake. It was outstanding. Great experience at this Olive Garden ....what made this a great experience was the waiter. He gets a 10+.

2022-02-03The food and service was what is expected at any Olive Garden. They were busy but did a great job at taking care of our group. Missing things from their larger menu, but I understand with supply chain issues. We all had a great te and enjoyed the visit.

2022-06-18We was tired and hunger after many road miles. We found this Restaurant and was ready to eat. The food is good and we decided to eat at the bar. The service was outstanding and food quality was on point. When a restaurant has a wait time the food is good. Remember a empty parking lot says the food at that place is lacking or overly expensive.

2022-06-14While waiting for our table we saw a waitress drop some napkins with silverware on the floor and proceeded to add them in basket, my partners food was lukewarm and asked to reheat it came back with too much sauce couldnt find pasta or chicken! The ladys restroom was horrible. We were told we would see the manager but never came by. Dont understand what was going on. Other times we have been here its been really great. Oh our waitress was awesome though!

2022-05-06Just unfortunate. Server was nice gal but never refilled our drinks till we were literally almost done and that raspberry lemonade was more like raspberry tap water. They also forgot my fiances soup with his meal. And the Calamari was super chewy that he ordered for appetizers. I felt so terrible for him. Classic Lasagna, though way over priced was good. Probably will not be dining in again. Price for experience was def lacking
