Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
I had to write this review! So today I placed a Togo order that was supposed to come out at 11. Mind you the restaurant opens at 11. Around 11:05 a team member came out apologizing about it being late. Honestly it was no big deal for me because they just opened. Well the sweet manager came out & brought my food & apologized for being only 10 mins late, again totally understandable they just opened & she gave me a $10 gift card. This was absolutely so touching to me, since I’ve literally been without power at my house for the last three days so my daughter wanted some pasta, and this experience truly turned my whole day around. So thank you for being so kind!
It smells like mold especially in the restrooms. The hostess was so rude and kinda over it. The food is mediocre at best. I only came here because my mom wanted to come. Idk why the older generation thinks olive garden is fancy when you can tell half of the food is microwaved. Too overpriced.
Took my son here for his birthday on 5/3/22 The food was outstanding and the service was absolutely amazing,2 Food Seafood Alfredo we ordered Omg was so delicious 😋 fresh hot bread and fresh salads we amazing the waiter was so attentive to where we left a 20 tip this young guy was so nice and polite 😊 Ill definitely be back and I want the same waiter,And very good-looking he was now thats a plus.🤭⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏽👍🏽 Definitely Will Be Back
Its been a while since weve been to Olive Garden. Love the new drink menu!!!My husband and I sat at the bar to avoid the 15 minute table wait and didnt plan on drinking until the colorful menu drinks caught our attention. The Italian Rum Punch was delicious!😋 And Darion was a great host and bartender. Excellent service, food and drinks!
Eating out use to be a treat, after today this location has downgraded to being in the same category as a fast food restaurant.Even at that I received better treatment with chick FIL A.When Olive Garden is known for its traditional family friendly Italian cuisine and fine wine.MY HEART GOES TO THE MANAGER JAZAE with having to deal with employees that forget the value of customer service. It does not only come from the food itself but from the people who work there as well.
Had an unpleasant experience. We come here often but today it wasn’t a good experience, first of all when walking in I had my 5 year old right behind me I let the door go and it came back hard enough to push my 5 year old and almost smushing her hand between the doors, I looked up and saw the door closer with out a cover and leaking oil, had that door smushed my 5 year old hand and they would’ve had a big lawsuit from me, I asked for a manager to bring it to her attention about the door not working properly and she just came up with nothing but a bunch of excuses that it was normal because the door is so heavy but none of the other doors do the same and that is why the door closer is for to avoid that from happening unless is not working properly, no apology from her or a thank you for bringing it to her attention before a serious accident happens. Now to the service, our waiter wasn’t the best during the time he served us, he didn’t even offer any chocolates so we walked out with out any chocolates and a bad experience. All this happened today 03/18/2022 around 3:40pm
Upgrading my to-go order. Ordered my mothers day meal to take home after church, and the experience has vastly improved. We placed our order before leaving church in the museum district; online process was easy to navigate , and received email receipt as well as text with time estimate to ready for pick-up. [26 min] I have to order off the gluten sensitive menu; GF pasta option is rotini. The menu fortunately has my favorite soup -zuppa Toscana- and have had NO flare-ups after.
I always enjoy dining at Olive Garden and this visit was no different. Our server Lydia was fantastic and the food was absolutely wonderful. I signed in online so we wouldnt have to wait too long once we arrived. I appreciated that social distancing was a priority. We arrived and awaited our text message to enter. We were seated in a booth in a corner by ourselves. Lydia arrived very shortly after we were seated to take our order. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable of every menu item that we inquired about. It was not long before we received our food. The presentation was exceptional and the taste was even better. My wife had the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara and I had the Eggplant Parmigiana. Ofcourse, I cannot eat at Olive Garden without having the salad and my wife having the breadsticks. I can honestly go to Olive Garden just for the salad. Lydia would always check on us to make sure that we were doing ok or needed anything. Overall, everything was wonderful.
It is fairly easy to appreciate a restaurant that offers unlimited quantities of menu items. Given the option of unlimited salad or soup, both of us decided on soups. The pasta e fagioli soup had pasta, ground beef and vegetables, while the chicken & gnocchi soup was creamy. Both were delicious and perfect for the chilly evening. My chicken and shrimp carbonara entree was a good portion size and filling. The bacon pieces were a tasty addition to this meal. I also had the pineapple and blackberry tea which was sweet and refreshing; just the way I like it. And I readily said yes to a refill when our server made the offer. Visit for abundant food, and good service.
The place is very clean & organized. Our server was courteous & respectful. He frequently checked on us (without being obtrusive) to make sure that our needs are met. The manager came to our table just to make sure that everything is OK. I highly recommend this place. I hope that they will continue to deliver this kind of service because I have seen other places that have deteriorated as time went by.
Quick friendly service. I sat in a booth by the bar. Enjoyed a quiet, solo dinner.Great value. The special was Early Dinner Duo = breadsticks, unlimited soup, and basic entree (3-5pm).More than I could eat for $8.99Summer drink special $5.00 = watermelon margarita...YUMMY.
The mens restroom and the womens are not up to par with a nice restaurant standards. Not bad wait time. Staff super nice. Wish I could say the same for the cleanliness of the restrooms for my daughters. The immediate smell at the entrance was not attractive as well. Will only stay for soup and salad this time because we are with someone that wanted to dine here.
We had an Ok visit. Not bad bur not really the best. Food arrived cold. We had 3 entrees. It was my huband, me and our 2 kiddos.Food would have been better had it been warmed/hotter.Waiter was nice but seemed to be annoyed if we ask for salad refill. But anyway. Olive Garden is one of our fav spot to go to.It is family friendly. Nice ambiance. Nice restaurant layout. Overall nice and neat. Pleasant place to go do.
I was given a salad with scraps from the hull of the onion: the throwaway part. I asked about this and was told thats how they are served now. The shrimp scampi frittata was delicious. I will return but I was very disappointed with my salad. Upon leaving I spoke with the Manager and she gave me a free dessert and gave my husband a dessert as well. That was a nice thing for her to do.
I don’t know where to start. Call and made a to go order close to closing (my fault) my son and I got food poisoning literally a while after worse experience ever! This location has been falling off take the time to drive a little further to the Olive Garden by the NRG stadium by old Spanish trail it’ll be worth the drive.
Had a great experience today at Olive Garden! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Donavan with a smile. Then, our server, Brian, took really great care of our family. Hes professional and hard working. Brian kept our drinks filled and checked up on us to make sure everything was going okay. Also taking care of business and making sure everything was on point was Keon. We noticed Willie, the manager, taking the lead and helping his staff. Please ask for Brian next time you drop by Olive Garden at the Pearland location. Hell take great care of you! And before you leave, tell Willie hes doing an excellent job managing!
I placed a catering order for pick up that was supposed to be ready by a certain time. My husband sat in the curbside parking lot for 20 mins watching other people get their orders. 30 mins go past and he had to ask what’s going on with our order. The to-go person sent the manager out who THEN told him our order was “accidentally” bagged up with someone else’s catering order. I called in to see how much longer it is going to take and the manager advised the food was remade and bagged up, ready to be sent out. And, for the inconvenience she placed a gift card in the bag. My husband received the bag and there was NO gift card nor were we compensated in any way for waiting 45 extra mins to get our food. This place needs to make sure they triple check their orders because now someone has a full catering order that they received for free and we’re stuck with an “I’m sorry this happened.”
Always a great go-to when we don’t want to cook!I’m updating this and lowering my review to 2 stars. They are slow and struggle to manage busy times. We have had to wait more than 10 min beyond posted pick up times. Often, food doesn’t come until I call in after waiting in check in lot for 10 min.
Gluten free pasta!? I had never try Olive Gardens gluten-free pasta until today. I absolutely love it. Its delicious and healthy all in one. I will definitely be ordering it again next time. Great job Olive Garden. Oh I also loved the customer service that the waitress gave us. She was always checking up on us. Forgot to ask her name but may God Bless her.
I’m definitely not one for leaving comments but our experience at this place today was absolutely terrible. The food was fantastic but the service was EXTREMELY slow. Our server kept forgetting everything we asked for. Never checked on us we had to ask other employees passing by for things we needed.
Server was pretty slow and hardly came around to check on us. The place seemed pretty empty to have such service. The guy who seemed to be the manager did come around twice to check on us so that was good. The shrimp scampi wasnt too tasteful and the chicken parm was very dry. I miss when olive garden was always a hit.
I appreciate the safety protocols at this location. We were quoted a 20 min wait but got seated in under 10 minutes. Our waitress Selina was personable and very accommodating. The food came out quickly, fresh and flavorful. Only negative is they have reduced some of their menu options due to COVID so I didnt get to eat the two things I REALLY wanted :(
This visit was not great. They seemed to be short staffed for just opening that day. The curbside person was walking in right before us and not only ignored us, but didnt even offer to get the door (it shut in our faces). Then she was complaining. The woman behind the bar was nice. They tried to sit is in a booth that was crammed behind a table with other booths open. We werent greeted by anyone for over 5 minutes and when they finally came for our drink orders, mine was wrong. The waitress looked flustered and didnt even introduce herself when she came over. The food was good, but the service wasnt the best.
Look, I dont go into an Olive Garden with high hopes, but this location failed to clear even the low bar of my expectations. It was ninety degrees inside.Servers were dripping with sweat, and I dont want to imagine how much fell from the kitchen staffs brow into patrons dishes.I dont know if this is a strategy to keep overhead low or just a negligent attitude towards maintenance, but Id recommend heading elsewhere to satisfy any pasta cravings you may have until its figured out.
Just not a great experience bathrooms superDirty there was a white kid working in the front and he kept pulling his underwear also wished the Hispanic manager was attentive to all customers as he was with his family while we where dinning there he was serving his I guess family they got their food super fast drinks and everything and while we had order first we still had to wait longer forOur food
Ordered to-go, the person who brought the food to my car Katherine (I believe was her name) had a very bad attitude and demeanor towards me and seemingly expected me to hand her a large tip. Typically I tip well, but with her attitude I felt obligated instead of being generous. Bad employee. Bad review.
I believe this is her name, Ms. Kia was very nice to me. She even held the door open for me in and out of the restaurant. I asked for something and she granted without hesitation per my request. I was having a bad day and very emotional. I even cried thinking how sweet she was too me. She picked my spirit right on up. I’m the woman that had a pick up order for 5:15 pm today. Prairie view A&M shirt. (Purple and gold) Thank you and may God continue to bless you as always!
The restaurant seated us quickly. One of the meals, cheese ravioli in meat sauce, came out as ordered. Beyond that the rest of the meal was sub-par.The salad and breadsticks took 10 minutes to get to the table. The salad had one tomato slice in the whole bowl. The dressing was almost non-existent on the salad The steak was not grilled correctly and when sent back it took 20 minutes to get the replacement. The rest of the party had finished their meals before the steak returned.. The second steak was no better than the first. Our drinks were never refilled until we were leaving. The manager never stopped by to check on The steak mistake. There was no compensation for the steak... not even free soda and tea.We were not in a hurry so it was just a disappointing hour and a half meal.
I just came through the car side pick up. My order took a very long time. And when the girl came out the building she was swinging the bag. She went to two other cars looking for the person that the order belonged to. I opened my window for her to notice me. And she asked oh are you picking up for Jasmine? I said yes and she básica stuffed my bad through the window. It was a plastic bag and by the time I got my bag the lid from my pasta was open and spilling because it was sideways and my soup was spilling as well. So unprofessional!
We ordered ToGo on Sunday. I almost accidentally ate a piece of saran wrap (at least hoping that is what this thing is...) that was in the fettuccine alfredo. I called to let the manager at the store know and although she apologized she also said the regional manager would be getting in touch with me to make it right and I did not hear from anyone all week. I really do not think I should have to pay for the dish since it was not edible... so disgusted and will never order to go or eat here again.
It was okay because of the food. The downsides had to be that it was super loud and the bathroom being dirty, so having a conversation was out of the question, and sitting on the toilet where theres poop on the outside of the bowl during 7-9pm was also a no go. The food however was good. They ONLY had regular lemonade at the time, but I enjoyed it anyway.
Service was very slow which is surprising because the restaurant wasn’t very busy at all. For my last few visits ( because I like Olive Harden) our salads haven’t been anything like they use to be or even close to what is advertised on TV. I know it’s pandemic time but there were plenty of employees available to take our order but they were busy chatting with one another and laughing it up. Once we got our food and needed other things it’s as if our waiter would walk into our section of the restaurant and only check on a customer here or there. Couldn’t get his attention by waving our hands and he never would look left or right. This is an old restaurant trick that employees use to buy time or to not have to make extra steps before the end of shift comes around. These employees could care less if you ever come back to the restaurant. I think better training and better managment follow up would help improve this situation.
I had not visited this location in few years. It still looks great. Food was good. I’m in a salad and soup kick so that is all that is ordered. I lied I ate the breadsticks they were soft and warm. Like fresh out of the oven. Kids are their pasta and pizza. Empty plates all around. That deserves 5 stars! Service was fast. Will return
Where do I even begin, first we waited for a very long time and we were a party of 5. Many tables of 4 entered immediately with a table ready to go, we waited almost an hour until our table was ready. Now considering the wait time you’d expect to be seated at a table where everyone can fit. But I kid you not we were seated at a table of 4 with an extra chair the end. I can’t believe we waited that long just to end up packed like sardines, I could have easily asked for a table of 4 and just pulled an extra chair for the 5th person. Afterwards, although it wasn’t our waiters fault I believe most of the staff should be trained properly before they’re sent out to the floor. Our waitress was very miserably nervous and other waiters were nervous as well, it was obvious they had just started learning on the job. This nervousness leads up to slow service because as a result we couldn’t find our waitress when we needed her, we ended up waiting 15 minutes after being seated to order our drinks. And then the pacing of our food was a bit rushed because we received our entrees like 5 minutes after getting our soups, and with such a small table I didn’t even know where to place my plates. Again, personally I don’t think it was our waitress’s fault, but geez at least train or give your waiters some ins and outs before sending them out.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL CHICKEN MARSALA.I have been coming here at least once or twice a month for about 3 years. The food and service are always good. There have been a couple of times that it was very busy or we got an inexperienced server and the service suffered but those are few and far between.
Food, server, and experience was great. My only complaint was that it was too dang cold in there. Especially when its already 40⁰ outside. But no reason to take a star away for that. It deserved the 5 stars that Im giving, so Im not taking one away because of the temperature. Also our server named GLORY was great! She help make our day.
Called to make sure they were accepting people to dine in! The hostess say they had no wait time I was 5 min away when, I got to the restaurant the hostess said it was a wait time of 25 minutes!!! I told her I had called 5 minutes ago and explain to her. She said I could speak to the manager and so I did his name is Noel, which I also explain what happen all he could say was is not there fault is they get busy within the time frame of me getting to the restaurant. Like really the restaurant got extremely busy in 5 minutes! They lost my business.!
Had a great time with the family there for lunch, our children always love the chicken Alfredo, salad and bread sticks, the tour of Italy is always good and as far as service goes we had no complaints, it did seem as if they were a little understaffed Im guessing due to what the world is still going through, tables were open but we still had about a 15 to 20 minute wait, just not enough waiters/waitresses, overall they still managed to do a good job.
Food was very good. Our waiter was very prompt. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the hostess was not wearing her mask properly. She had her mask down by her chin. Her nose was showing and when she talked you could see her mouth. She wasnt being safe. Also another female employee was walking around with her mask completely down. In a time when we are asked to be as safe as possible the 2 employees need a reminder.
Great food great staff very clean Maybelline did a wonderful service went above and beyond with taking care of our family with all their orders.Everytime I come here scott Taylor and all his olive garden employees have great customer service and very responsive very attentive thanks for welcoming us to your wonderful restaurant.
Excellent service and food! Our server Moises not only had appropriate recommendations for myself, my mother in law and both kids, but he was exceptional in his tending to anything we needed. Food was hot, made fresh, and tasted wonderful. Loved the fact that the food wasnt overly salty. Everything had clearly been made fresh for our meal and brought out hot but not burning us. Kudos. Will return.
Top notch location dine in or to-go lunch or dinner. My orders are always correct and I always receive great customer service while in person at the restaurant or when I’m being annoying and calling to edit a To-go order I placed online. With popular busy restaurants mistakes are inevitable but I’ve yet to have any mistakes personally at this location. Ima go ahead and drop a 6 star review. ⭐️
I havent been to an Olive Garden in a long time but I took the family to this location today. The waiter was friendly although he seemed pretty new (kinda nervous) but he was fine. The womens bathroom was not up to par. No paper towels to dry your hands and trash on the floor. The mens restroom was fine but the paper towel dispenser requires you to use your finger and twist to get a paper towel out. NOT very covid efficient since everyone that washes there hands has to touch the same piece to dry their hands. The food was more expensive than I remember ($15+ for some lasagna and all other entrees were near $20). Its been a while so maybe I just forgot. Just the ambiance, restrooms and staff just dont match $20 plates. Also they mustve changed the recipe on the chicken soup bc it wasnt very good. As I said the waiter was friendly and helpful which is why it got 3 stars but if not for him it wouldve gotten two. They did NOT get the EJ Stamp of Approval.
The service was great as well as the food. I met a friend there to celebrate my belated birthday, my late husbands birthday which was yesterday, and my friends sisters belated birthday that past away almost 2 years ago. We had a great time getting to visit with each other.
Had a craving for Olive Garden but was seriously let down and not by the food (never got that far). Most attention we got was from the hostess complaining about coming in to work her shift. Walked out after 20 minutes, several servers walking by and not even a drink order.
Great friendly service, our waiter Justin F was very good. He checked on us every few minutes and was so polite. The salad was fresh, bread sticks warm and not cold like sometimes. The food was also very good. Only one letdown, the margarita was not so good. The frozen margarita was like half melted and no tequila at all. Other than that, great restaurant!!!
Haven’t been to OG in a while. I was back home in Houston for the weekend and and decided to bring the wife here. Devon was our server and he was great. I don’t mean that lightly. I operate 144 restaurants and find myself very picky. As you can see from my reviews on google. Devon was awesome. I just wanted to say thank you. He made sure my wife was happy and he was honest and sincere. Kudos to Darden for this guy.
I found human hair in my food after I had started eating, I just wanted to puke. Waiter informed manager who came and all she said was Ill tell kitchen staff to cover their hair, Ill take it off your bill She didnt seem genuinely sorry and I felt like she thought I just didnt want to pay for food under $10. This was the worst experience, the soup was also horrible, dilute, and no flavor. Ill take a break from this place. Carefully check your food before you eat.
Had curbside delivery. When we got home, the entrees were piping hot! The dinner portions are HUGE! But, my salad was incorrect. I ordered it without onions & stated that very clear several times. I even asked her when she read the order back if she had no onions. She confirmed she did. I have a food sensitivity to raw onions. There was small, pieces of onions all throughout my salad so I couldn’t just pick them out like I usually would. I couldn’t eat it so I was extremely disappointed :( I had also asked her multiple times for Romano cheese, EXTRA Romano cheese. She assured me it would be in there. It wasn’t. Again, very disappointed. That is almost the best part! And it is not something I normally keep stocked in my fridge. OG, A+ on your pasta entrees. D- on your Expo.
Stopped by on a Thursday evening for dinner. The staff was very cordial and the service was great. The shrimp scampi was surprisingly delicious and the chef followed my exact instructions to customize the dish for me. This is a complete turnaround from my last visit.
The service was great! Sue took good care of us. She refilled stuff (soup, bread, water) before we even asked her to. Our meals were served at the proper temperature and delicious. I ordered shrimp scampi and my son ordered chicken parmesean and we were both pleased with our choices. The restaurant was nice and clean and so were the dishes when our food arrived.
Service was quick and friendly. Salad came and was up to their standards in quality of fresh vegetables and quantity in the serving. Entree was cooked to perfection as the chicken was tender as were the pasta. Refills of our drinks were early so we never ran out of drinks. I asked for red pepper which was brought quickly. The waitress taught us how to pay on the machine at the table which was quite efficient.
We love their salad and bread sticks. They have their never ending soup and salads for lunch specials. Believe it or not its always filling. I wind up having to take some home when i partake in that special. Im a modern day woman so its quite the satisfaction when i eat and get my appetite satiated
Dont waste your time and money during this pandemic! We placed a to go order at 7:36 pm. The employee that answered the phone said it wouldnt be ready until 8:35. I thought that was ridiculous, but decided to keep the order in order to support this OG during this pandemic. We get there at 8:22, and they said that it wasnt ready but should be at 8:35 as they had originally said. I checked on it again at 8:46, and they could not give me an update on my order and kept telling me itll be out soon. I was 1 of 3 cars sitting outside waiting for an order. In the first 25 minutes I was out there waiting, after the already 1 hour wait time from the time you placed your order, an employee only came out once to help one of the cars that was there. I called again at 8:50 and asked for a manager. I was on hold for 5 minutes. Then Roxanne, the manager on duty finally answered and seemed annoyed to have to deal with me. I was polite. I explained to her the situation and asked her to check on my order since I had already been waiting 30 minutes and needed to call it a night if it wasnt ready. She was extremely unhelpful. So I asked if they were short-staffed in order to try to understand the possible reason for this awfully unorganized food service, but she answered me in a happy voice that they were fully staffed but were extremely busy with the 3 cars in to go and the 3 cars parked out in front of the restaurant. She then told me my food will be out shortly and for me to have a nice day in a very sarcastic tone. Needless to say I will report this awful service to the GM Noel tomorrow! Oh, and by the way the food was already dry which leads me to believe that it had been sitting there, and they just wouldnt bring it out.
Had a great experience coming to this place. Its not a frequent lunch spot for me. I came in with my family for lunch on Sat. We were seated within 10 mins. Our waitress, Karen, was very friendly and took care of us well. She came to our table regularly to check on us. I took the unlimited soup option and she would promptly check on whether Id need a refill. In all, it was a good lunch experience and it was mostly attributed to the attention Karen gave us. Good job to her!
If you are looking for convenient Italian food then this is the place to go. There is usually not a wait at this location and the staff is friendly. I do have troubles with my order when I go. Usually when I send back my order at least once but no complaints just ask kindly to fix it. I like the promos that they run that is what keeps me coming back for more. Food is mediocre.
Went in for dinner with my wife and son and was greeted well. We were seated and had to wait 15 minutes and still have no service, a glass of water or bread for that matter! It’s was a Saturday and not very busy. While leaving the restaurant with disappointment, I see 5-6 servers upfront having a chat with each other.
Over all my experience was okay. I ended up getting the salmon scampi today and I also got the apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The salmon scampi was decent but I wouldnt recommend it. The only reason I ate it is because I ordered it. The house salad was decent tasted like it had been sitting out for a little bit. Also the bread seem kind of dry...My server was nice and decent. The bathrooms were pretty disgusting and needed to be clean. Wouldnt return but I appreciate my server for being so consistent on checking on me.
When we first arrived they said we would need to wait half an hour to be seated because we had more people coming to join us..we asked to please find a spot for us to sit because we were tired and hungry! When we got out soup I found a hair in mine and none of wanted anymore soup pretty disappointed. The waiter was super nice another lady working at the entrance was a little rude for no reason...but over all not a good experience!
I must say this place serves their dishes with the right seasoning. Alfredo pasta was creamy not dry like most Olive gardens Ive been. Thank you Chefs keep up the good work. Also the wait staff is on point with their customer services so far your number 1 is taste and service.
Short wait, prompt friendly service, and good food properly prepared. Although another of our group found only one shrimp, and that very small, in his lobster and shrimp pasta, my Chicken Margherita was excellent and tasty. Our service was prompt, friendly, and attentive earning the large holiday tip e supplied. Outstanding.
We love eating here. Our wait time was not bad and we had courteous hostess and waitresses. The only thing that I wasnt fond of is that they served all the dishes, salad and breadsticks, appetizers and the main course all together. It would be great if they gave us some time between to enjoy each course.
Visited the location in Pearland tonight. Although our server was very nice, there were many issues with our visit. First, after 20 minutes without service I flagged down the hostess who said she would send the manager and server over. Server arrived, apologized and took our order. Second, server mixed up my husbands wine order, but I think she may have been nervous due to knowing we waited. Third, didnt clear plates timely.Food was just okay, but the majority of our party of 4 was satisfied with food quality.Very obvious to me that the issue was lack of training of staff. Seems like there was enough staff, but again, ineffective training. The manager did not visit our table as I expected .It will be quite a while until I return to Olive Garden.
Decent food, but excellent service! We went for dinner at around 5ish after doing some shopping and running errands earlier. Our waitress was wonderful and really attentive to our needs. Shes also told us (what many dont know and employees dont say) is every guest can try out 3 complimentary wine tastes tests. You just have to ask. And she offered us a taste when we arrived and brought another to try out.I was happy with the service. Thanks.
I’ve eaten here a few times usually people are very nice. I usually call after 9:30 to order they just ask that I be there before closing which I do. Tonight how ever whoever is answering the phone has no customer service skills. He told me they don’t accept orders after 9:30 which wasn’t my previous experience then I begin asking him a question and he hangs up in my face. So unprofessional. Terribly sorry for bothering you. It won’t happen again.
This was the Pearland location, the service was excellent, and the food was awesome. They brought us our meal right away, as we were finishing our appetizer, just in time. Our server Joe, was quick to bring us refills without us even having to ask for it. He was serving 11 of us (7 adults and 4 children) with absolutely no hassles. The atmosphere was so pleasant, the music was nice and not too loud, it was just right. The restaurant looked very clean every where we looked. Im definitely coming back to this location.
Okay so this was by far THE BEST service Ive ever had eating out EVER! Ben, our server, went above with his customer service, making sure to be attentive and courteous taking our order, and getting our food and drinks, and taking time to check in on us and have full on conversation with me and my friends, even after we paid and our tickets were closed, while still not neglecting his other tables. The food was good (the new calamari recipe was DELICIOUS, though I prefer the peppercorn to the new spicy ranch they replaced it with...its not bad, not hot-spicy, but flavor-spicy), my friend and I had the unlimited stuffed pasta (I had the ziti, with alfredo sauce, and shrimp and scallops, and he had the ravioli with alfredo and the fried shrimp), my husband had the chicken and shrimp carbonara, and my other friend had the unlimited soup and salad (she had the chicken and gnocchi), but Bens service is what really made it memorable and what will make us come back, and this location isnt even the closest one to where I live...So thank you Ben, for being so personable and making our dining experience such a fun, pleasant, and memorable one!
Very very disappointed. I called and asked what the wait time would be for 7 people and they told me 20 minutes. We get inside of the restaurant and two of the what suppose to be “hostess” are sitting on the counter and tell us it’ll be a 30-35 minute wait. So we sit and wait, my dad puts his timer on his phone and we end up waiting a total of 51 minutes. The bad thing about it was that the managers was walking around and not once did they try and console with us about anything. Very bad service , this never happens. I will not be coming back to this location ever again. Our waitress was “Reggie”, he was so nice and polite.
My final visit here was somewhat unsettling. This used to be my regular stop if i was traveling through the area so I could chat with their bartender, ben, or just grab a salad and some drinks and cool off from the heat. The entire time i was here, just trying up enjoy my meal after along day of work, one of the managers (i had to ask my server) just kept staring at me. Itried to politely nod back and hopefully end this, but no. It went on. For my entire, roughly 45m visit, i caught this person -staring- me down. They moved around a bit, from corner to corner, near to-go pickup, then to the kitchen entrance, and eventually back to the host stand. And every single time i looled up from my food, or ordering a drink, there they were. Staring, unapologetically. It was rather disturbing, so i asked my server what was going on, i have no idea, i dont know what thats l about. It was the creepiest dining experience I have ever had. And now that my bartender has moved, i cannot think of a single reason to ever come back here. This place is a mess since the old manager left. I used to love this location, but nearly all the people who made it worth visiting are gone.
Ive been to many Olive Gardens and this is one of my favorites! The service is always quick and friendly. The food has always been so delicious and the portions are great. My husband is hard to get full but hes full every time we leave here. I definitely get my moneys worth.
My mother and I came 2 weeks ago.Our Waitress didnt seem that Happy that day. Maybe we went on the the day she was Sad or maybe she just naturally Quiet who knows. She didnt tell us about the Special like the other Waitress did. My Mom was very interested in it. So we just left. Food of coarse is always Great at Olive Garden. :)
I have eaten here many times before and the food is consistently good. It is located in a traffic nightmare of an area. There is a Bestbuy in the parking lot along with a Sprint Store. The service was good this time but can be hit or miss depending on the server. The computers they use at the table were very dirty with finger smudges all over the screen. If Chicken and Shrimp carbonara is your thing then lucky you its still very good.
I visited this Pearland location along with my son and hubby on Sunday a few weeks ago. Our experience was beyond horrible. I’m not really sure whom to blame-the waitress, the cooks, or the manager on duty. However, I will start with my order of cheese fondue. We placed an order for that and it was bought out and looked like gravy. I asked the waitress to have them cook it longer and she brought it back out the same way. Her response was well that’s what they do when it’s close to closing. But not to mention there were still people coming in to dine. We went on to order our entrees and for my sons meal I was told they ran out of fries, then my husband never received his soup so I brought that to her attention. She went back to check on the soup and came back saying that the soup was already put up. At that point I called for a manager because I was not very HAPPY. The manager comes to the table with no name badge or anything and apologizes about the situation and agreed to take care of our tab. The moral of the story is I wasn’t looking for anything free, I just went for dinner and I expected to receive my dinner as ordered. I will never visit this location again. By the way on the way out I passed by a saw my waitress eating in a corner. I guess that explains why she wasn’t very attentive. Also just an FYI never go after 8 pm or anywhere close to closing because you will regret it.
Had an order to go with we arrived at the time they said we texted them they said our Meals Ready it came out gave us the big bag and said thank you and away we went and about two miles down the road opened it and it was someone elses meal so we had to turn around and call them return and pick our meal up so no we are not very satisfied at all
I ordered food to go for a friend that has been at the hospital with her daughter. I remember paying exactly the amount with a card and leaving a few bucks in cash as tips even though I did not get any service because I had ordered to go. I just took a quick look at my bank account and these people change the numbers on the receipt and added tips to The payment made with the card. Very upset because that’s fraud! I wonder to how many other people they had done it!!!!
Always a good Idea. I went there with my mom and 2 kids (3 years ans 10months). I spent only $30 for everything.Soups & Salads Unlimited 😱 yummmySpecial mention for the waiter! Justin F. Always smiley respectful kind and patient...👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽The service was very good like the food.👏👏👏
Without a doubt my dinner with my aunt and cousin was the best ever experienced in an Olive Garden restaurant .Our waiter Luis was knowledgeable, courteous , attentive and patient since we were a little indecisive with what we wanted. If you like mushrooms dont hesitate to try their new creamy mushroom raviolis. It is also refreshing to see a proactive, happy management who truly cares for their guests.
Service and food was great. Our waiter was very on point and speedy. The reason I am giving this place 2 stars is our waiter bumped into a bus girl and made her drop her tray. The waiter never even tried to help the bus girl or say im sorry. When my wife tried to help the bus girl the waiter said Its ok mama there is no need to do that. Basically discouraging my wife from helping this lady. I dont care for places that have employees like this. I know its s cut throat world but come on and show some kindness.
OMG I wish I had seen Teresas review before I placed online order. Your order will not be prepared on time. We arrived on time and called SEVERAL TIMES (terrible answer system and customer service) and they let us wait for 20 mins. So they told us NOTHING was prepared after 30 mins so we decided to leave. And there is even no refund option online so we called again for refund and they finally brought our food. This is the worst To-Go experience we ever had.
Beautiful interior decorations, typical of most Olive Gardens. Blissful atmosphere and soothing music playing in the background. The food was on par with most olive gardens Ive previously visited, do not expect something completely different. My only complaint is the different variations of tea they offer dont really taste any different from each other. I had to ask the waiter to add more of the flavoring syrup in order to get the desired flavor. Overall experienced a pleasant experience.
Ok I’m normally I’m not in to writing reviews but I feel like today warrants it. This Olive Garden is one my family and I frequent often and under normal circumstances I wouldn’t place foot in here on Mother’s Day but my mom loves it so I figured let’s order some to bring to the house you know social distance... but holy cow Olive Garden!!! McDonald’s has this to go thing figured out better then y’all. I ordered on Monday the 4th because I knew I would be ordering a larger amount of food and when I showed up it was just dystopian chaos in you parking lot. Your staff were being as lovely as can be but the back of house let them down man they were dealing with people pulling up and letting us know there was a short delay but I am an hour in to waiting after my expected arrival and bruuuuuuu Olive Garden. I’m hungry I’m hot and I’m upset. Why not communicate the delay or why lie and stay it’s a small delay it’s been over and hour and if I hadn’t payed for my food on MONDAY last week MONDAY I would have just went to McDonald’s and gotten some chickens nuggets and a cold one and promised to make it up during the first chance I got.
Ive been to this location twice within the last 6months and both times the service was horrible. The waiter(my first visit) and waitress(2nd visit) were not good at all. My 1st time the salad was not fresh. We sent the salad back several times before we just said forget the salad. The waiter didnt have any suggestions to make it right aside from continually taking the salad back. My 2nd visit was today. I waited 3mins to be seated..no problem. However after I was seated my waitress took another 10mins before taking our drink order. We ordered, when the food arrived my moms meatball sandwich was cold, we had to wave the hostess down to advise them that the food was cold. Because our waitress never came back to check on us. Once the waitress was made aware of the issue, nothing was offered to make it right.I asked for another soup she dropped it off as she was going to the back, didnt even say heres your soup, not did she offer me cheese which I love in my soup. Then she took 15minutes to bring the check. Im soooooo done with this location. WHY CANT I FIND AN OLIVE GARDEN THAT LOVES ME THE WAY I LOVE THEM?? They need to work on their customer service! Will not recommend this location at all.
Came here for my daughters bday. Always dissatisfied with this location. Waited over 40 min and they had my name wrong on waiting list.....they scratched my name off so we were waiting and waiting. Spoke to manager got seated immediately but ruined our mood. Food is always great but this location sucks on service!!
Fairly good food and good service. My only problem with this particular location was the wait to be seated. We walked in and had to wait about 15 minutes. Not usually bad but there was no one waiting in front of us. There were several tables that were empty, do Im not sure what was going on.
Ive been here several times and never had a problem until today at the time of the checkout using my debit card the waitress itself added tip to my transaction without my permission . He gave me the receipt and cut the bottom part so I wouldnt see how much he had charged my card for . I asked him can I have the rest of the receipt and didnt give it to me had already shrunk it ready to trash it so what I did was check my online banking and noticed he had charged me more than expected . I called him and let him now that I was aware he had ran my card for more than expected so I wasnt leaving any more tips.. be careful when paying with your card !!!!!!!
Horrible visit!!I was there today with my family for my mom’s birthday and it was by far the worst experience that I’ve ever had at Olive Garden! The waiter never asked if we wanted soup or salad, I had to tell him that I wanted soup, he did offered to bring salad and bread sticks which was never brought to us because the waiter disappear after taking our order. The plates at the table had a bad smell! When the food arrived, it was flavorless. We were all running out of drinks and some of us were still waiting for their soup or salad so my sister went to go get a manager to tell her our complains and she explained that they were making the soup which it was the reason it hadn’t been brought out but when the soup was finally brought it was cold(btw, this was after we were done with our meals). And again the waiter and manager disappear and we were still out of drinks. At this time again my sister got up and took two glasses with her to get a refill, which it was when we finally got the refillls on our drinks. Since we did bring a cake for my mom we asked for plates which the waiter did bring but forgot the forks, I guess we should’ve specified that we also needed forks. After that he brought the check! I’ve had many visits to Olive Garden in the past and I’ve never had this kind of service!
When I was ordering a kids meal, the waitress was saying theres an upcharge for what Im requesting. I told her politely we have done it before (few times) and no one said anything about upcharge. Next thing I know we have a manager in our table which I really didnt ask. Very rude staff!
Service was very poor, long wait on food to arrive, had to ask for refills on drinks...and they place a cherry on top of the experience....had to wait 12mins to pay for the bad experience, due to being over charged (waited on manager) .We hadnt been here for 6months due to the same issues....this point well never be back. If you decide to visit, hope your experience is better than ours.
On yesterday night January 20, 2019, I dined in for dinner. Service was awsome but drinks were watered down and food was burnt and disgusting. I took most of my food to go afterwards so I could take a picture and somehow get it to the manager. This is the second time I have an issue like this when dining in for dinner. I will never visit this location again my $60 went straight down the drain.
Just tried to order food to go and phone line was busy. I tried to go in and had a mask in my hands. A guy that was probably the host didn’t let me go in to order. He told me that I had to keep calling the phone number that obviously was messed up. I was thinking maybe guests weren’t allowed inside but I saw a family exit the building while I was being turned away. Unacceptable!
I been to many different OG, this one was okay. Its clean and discreet, the wait staff in front was very nice and tried to get us a table asap. But our waiter didnt give us a good time. Took long to come out to ask us for anything, even the food took longer than normal. When we asked for the menu for some. dessert and Togo, the waiter reply: what for? Which was very rude to question, why we needed the menu. I hate to not give a good review for no reason. Unfortunately it was not up to par. Even my pasta was not well season and was bland. If there was a 3.5 star then they got it. It is a hit or miss with the staff so, I wont take it against OG. I still go to my usual location in Sweetwater.
Excellent!!! The food is always amazing! I remember going to this Olive Garden for my 21st birthday -back in the day- and the staff sang to me after making jokes about not being American Idol worthy, even though they sounded like some early Boys to Men. Sweet guys.My hubby and I like to go here for a good date night every now and then. Kandis waited on us this last time and she was a sweetheart!!! Awesome service! It was fast and as always the food was terrific! We got there before the rush thankfully!
Quite an affordable restaurant, with nice Italian food. The portions are well-sized, and the bread sticks are to die for! :) It is a family place, so expect noise and a lot of kids. There was a weird smell from the kitchen when we were there, which is why I give 4 stars, but its a good cost to value.

2022-02-26My husband and I capitalized on the rare opportunity of all 3 children being out of the house for the evening, so we went to Olive Garden for a date night. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for a appetizer. It was delicious. The fried pita chips that came with it were delicious on their own. My husband ordered the stuffed tortillini with chicken and alfredo sauce. It was also delicious. I wanted to get the shrimp fettucini alfredo but, unfortunately, they were out of fettucini. We arrived late for dinner so that was not surprising but still a little disappointing. Instead, I ordered the cheese ravioli and it was very delicious as well. For dessert, we got the Italian donuts with chocolate dipping sauce and they were amazing. A great way to end the meal. We were staffed when we left there, taking home a lot of leftovers in the process. Oh yes, and the salad and breadsticks were delicious as well. We have always had great service at the OG and this night was no different. The cozy atmosphere was a nice comfort to the frigid temperatures outside.

2022-05-06Was great until I found a hair in my Shrimp Scampi. The manager didnt even come out to show concern after the waitress reported the incident he just tried to fix me another other order.

2021-09-08Awesome experience from the time we walked in. They have a nice location here. Establishment was clean and organized. Server was very attentive and the food was hot and fresh. I wish my lunch lasagna couldve been a little bit bigger but no issue here. Thanks to everyone working labor day.

2022-06-13Everything was perfect. My waitress was the bartender at the time, I think. She was extremely nice and sweet with my little brothers that ordered their own food. She was funny, told us stories, and did not overstay her welcome! I’m REALLY picky with people talking to me when I’m out for dinner. I don’t know why, but it’s just not my thing. But our waitress did not bother me one bit. I really wish I remembered her name. Anyways, the food was delicious. It came out fast and hot. The bread sticks were so fresh we had to wait a second for them to cool off. PERFECT!

2022-03-05We entered Olive Garden Smith Ranch Road on a cool night in February wanting to go dinner and drinks! What We received was a blank stare from Donovan who then ignored Us for several more minutes as he discussed with another server that she would be making salads. We listened patiently and finally Donovan looked up at Us as if We were annoying him. My husband stated We would like to place a to go order. Donovan said Oh someone will be with You. He then went back to the salad prep discussion! Several minutes later as Donovan was next to the take out to go order register We assumed he would take Our orders. He didnt and he didnt find out who could...Beatrice V is listed on the receipt shown but he stood in front of Us well over 12 minutes so We recall him being inattentive and quite rude. Our order was $57 and We had drinks at the bar for about $30 including a tip in addition to the to go order of $57. The drinks were mediocre at best and cold air blasted from under the bar tabletop. We will not be returning. The food unfortunately wasnt memorable but the argument over who would make salads was...We then waited another 35 minutes for the take out.
