Orangetheory Fitness in other cities:
I like this OTF the best out of any of the Austin or Kyle locations. I’ve seen other studios not require masks (horrible! 25 people w no masks in a small room w the door closed. Bad bad bad idea—or have people taking masks off for an extended period of time and don’t say anything) though the city/state requires them for gatherings over 10. And honestly I love the coaches I’ve had here. So many times coaches from other studios will talk nonstop - it is annoying! These coaches at this location explain the movements, alternative movements, make sure your form is correct, and let you do your thing w good music. All while making sure people have masks on! I feel the most safe at this location. I wish I didn’t have to drive 30 min to get here...but other locations should take notes on how this one is run.
5 Stars!! I like OTF because I dont have to think about the workout. It is a good workout but like any workout you will only get what you put into it. I definitely play favorites towards certain coaches but even my non-favorites get me through the workout in a positive way. If you like/need group fitness and dont want to think about your workout, this is definitely a place to go. You will get your burn in and if youre like me, when it comes to your budget, you will definitely go to classes so that you fully get your moneys worth out of your membership!
First impression: this place is cleanly! Workouts are great. Keeps your mind from getting into a monotonous workout routine by having a different type of workout each time you go. The energy is level is high which is great to keep you going throughout this rigorous class. You push yourself as hard as you want to go. The Coach is there to help and motivate you. You also have your fellow classmates to keep you motivated. Everyone who works here is very friendly and seems to have a great interest in helping you. I am really satisfied all the way around.
Joined Orangetheory Fitness at the Triangle during Mayhem. Have totally enjoyed the classes! Coaches are fun & motivating! Support staff are friendly and helpful! Workouts have lots of variety of both cardio and strength training. I feel stronger & healthier! Totally recommend!!
OTF is the best workout out there. If you are looking for a workout where you will see results come try a free class. The coaches are extremely trained, very motivating, and highly entertaining! Never the same workout with maximum results. They coaches are so amazing about offering modifications if you have an injury that you are working thru. Orangetheory, and their coaches make it so fun to workout and it truly feels like a second family. I look forward to my workouts everyday. Come try a class at the Triangle!!The studio manager Blake is extremely helpful, supportive and friendly. When you come in for a class ask for coach Elvis, he is amazing. I see the best results with him and he is extremely encouraging and funny!
I have tried workout programs before, and they never really clicked for me. Orange Theory makes it so easy because you just need enough will power to get off your butt and get to the class and they do the rest.I have been going since November 2016 and I have lost 62 lbs total thus far. Ive not felt this great in a long time, and hope to continue burning calories with them on a weekly basis.I used to have sleep apnea and needed to use a CPAP machine at night. Since Ive lost the weight my doctor confirmed that is no longer required, which is a huge burden gone. Orange Theory really helped me change my life for the better and I cant thank them enough for that.Edit: Feb 2022 and still going. Lost 150 pounds in total. Still the best workout around.
I joined OTF Triangle in fall 2016 (as soon as they opened) and it changed my life for the better. Fitness is now a regular part of my life that I look forward to. This is the only fitness program or gym I have stuck with. The combo of excellent staff, coaches, a clean gym, differing exercises, awesome metrics and competitive accountability really works for me. This particular location is still my favorite, after visiting a few others on occasion. I dont mind driving 10 minutes from home to Orange Theory, because it is one of the positive things in my life and part of my time working on my own health and well being while my kids and family do their own thing. There is a nice mix of customers at this gym - all ages and fitness levels, some going through big transformations, some already major athletes, and others just getting started. Its very comfortable, yet feels competitive and fun.
Classes are great but when you decide to cancel your membership BEWARE. You cannot cancel over the phone...even if you are out of town. Even once you cancel, they continued to charge my credit card for TWO months after. Despite calls and emails they don’t call you back. When you go in the manager is conveniently never there. They refused to refund me for 2 months despite us cancelling numerous times prior too. Pretty crazy they never call you back. Thus, the post sales support and professionalism was terrible. .
I started attending Orangetheory Fitness a year ago and have seen incredible results! The upbeat coaches and intense workouts keep me coming back. Im happy to say that through OTF, Ive added high energy exercise to my weekly routine and reduced my overall stress levels.
I joined Orange Theory last month and have already started to see results! The workouts are challenging and always keep you active but I feel very accomplished at the end of each one. Definitely would recommend OT to anyone looking to add some intensity to their workout routine!
I leave these workouts dead on my feet, but in a good way. They keep it fun, challenging, and engaging for someone that does not enjoy working out. Love the workout summary email and being able to clearly see my progress throughout class ! All the coaches/staff are great and extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
A friend referred me to OT, because I was just not losing the weight I was trying to for several months. At the moment, Ive been to two weeks of classes (four times per week) and dropped five pounds (including eating much better). And, my energy and strength are greater than it has been in years. They are very attentive to my arthritis issues and coach around my inability to do some of the more extreme routines. But, I hope to buildup to get to that point in the not too distant future. The coaches are great and the staff are awesome! Im all in.
I would recommend OTF to anyone who wants to better their fitness and burn calories in less than one hour. Coaches are super cool and support staff makes it easy. I have enrolled myself in weight loss challenge and have lost close to 7lbs in three weeks. Come and join rather than reading this post.Update: it’s Jan 2018 - I have lost close to 40 lbs in last 14 months with OTF - have crossed more than 180 classes and I am still absolutely loving it.
It took me 44 years to finally LOVE exercise. I crave the feeling I have every other day when I leave a class and I look forward to my next workout (Ive NEVER done that). All the coaches are amazing so that makes booking a class on MY schedule even easier. Its an inspiring place full of inspiring people. It may seem expensive but if you are someone who NEEDS me time but would walk into a regular gym and not have a clue what you are doing and thus walk out either not giving a full effort or risking injury because no one is there to correct your form, this is the place for you. You can get a full month of unlimited guided exercise for the cost of pretty much one personal training session (and you will NEVER do the same workout twice). I give this place all the stars Im allowed to give but it deserves more.
Let me tell you how much the staff means to my husband and I. We are training for boot camp in the Air Force together and the staff has helped us get to where we need to be in order to pass physical training. The people that work here are very kind, helpful, and supportive of military members. We are truly grateful and we hope that when we get back from active duty that we can continue with orange theory. Thanks you guys in making a difference in our physical fitness standards and goals. We feel we could not have done this without your support.
My girlfriend and I started Orange Theory at the Triangle location this past December/January. Orange Theory has totally changed our lives & transformed our mindset in achieving optimal health. The Triangle location in particular also has such motivating & knowledgeable staff, which makes it super easy to want to be consistent. I signed up for the unlimited membership in particular, which is a bit pricey (not gonna lie), but well worth the money spent. I would 100% recommend Orange Theory, especially this specific location! Huge kudos to the OT Triangle team for making us feel welcome, for the intense love/hate workouts, and for changing our lives!
Love Orangetheory Fitness! I get a full body workout that I just wouldnt have the discipline to do on my own. The music is fun and the instructors keep me motivated! Always happy to see Josh on the schedule! He always has a smile on his face and remembers everyones name. Makes it feel like you have your own personal trainer even in a class!
It took me a long time to find a workout that I can consistently commit to and enjoy. I have been attending OTF for 1 year now and I still feel like every workout is unique and challenging. My body has completely transformed over the past 12 months. I have also developed better discipline and focus, in general. I am totally addicted!
OTF is a great place to work out. the trainers and people behind the front desk have all been really nice and helpful. the trainers are effective and encouraging without being too aggressive and hardcore. the workouts are different literally every single time, so its hard to get bored. wearing the heart monitors also really helps track our progress throughout class. i have a long way to go, but i can already see progress being made. being out of shape i hate a lot of fitness places for being obnoxious, but OTF is a great place for anybody to get a good workout!
My time in classes at the Triangle has been AMAZING because of the coaches. Though the front desk quality has made my time at the triangle a REGRET. After speaking with CLARISSA about my financial situation as a student whos family has been hit horribly by not only a pandemic but also hurricane Hanna. She did not offer any sympathy until I mentioned how my coaches would have treated the situation so differently. Before you sign up make sure they go over their cancellation policies with you for they will rarely do refunds and if you are a college student like myself you will be taken advantage of if you do know what you are signing. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry you are always supposed to make the client feel valued and after that conversation I sincerely felt taken advantage of. I hope that the manager addresses CLARISSAS front desk skills because it was just this interaction that made my 5 star experience a 1 star experience and regret.
I got started at Orange Theory at the Triangle, and I love their program. I feel good, I get pushed by the coaches, and it works. My phone broke and I had to get a new phone, and was suddenly having trouble logging in to the app to schedule appointments, so I tried calling in, and never got any responses. Ultimately, my schedule changed and I needed to suspend or cancel my membership, so I tried calling (again) and emailing the studio to ask if I could suspend the membership for a month until my schedule went back to normal. I never got any response from anyone - not a phone call back, not even an automatic reply email. I havent had time to go in to the studio itself to try talking to them but I was disappointed, since I really enjoyed working out there, and ended up paying for a whole month of membership fees when I wasnt able to make it in because I was trying to get ahold of someone in the studio. So it got 3 stars for the excellent workout, but their customer service was non-existent.
Just wanted to leave a review to talk about how well OTF Triangle has done with making me feel comfortable coming back to workout during Covid times. The staff and coaches are always positive and willing to help and make you feel safe throughout your time there. Clarissa at the front desk is always there to answer any questions I have and always very helpful. Love the OTF staff and so happy to have OTF triangle as my home studio.
Classes are great. The dishonesty with cancelling a membership here is extremely frustrating. I was lied to by multiple times by management and front desk staff. Ive basically having to pay for an extra month of classes and am finding out 2 weeks in that they cant refund my account, although they said they would refund me my fee and call me if there are any problems. Neither happened.
I was interested in signing up for a class and reached out during their Black Friday promotion. Unfortunately I wasnt able to get in at the time, so I was waiting until after Christmas to sign up.Then, I received a text message shaming me for eating yummy treats during the holidays and telling me I need to get to the gym to achieve my summer body. I was livid. I responded back stating how harmful that message can be and was met with pseudo apologies. From what I can tell, this location has no empathy for people with body image issues. They will shame you and dig their heels in stating they care about a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Perpetuating shame and attributing to mental health issues such as body dysmorphia and eating disorders is not healthy nor balanced.I sincerely hope they take this review as a teaching moment. Their staff is involved in a very vulnerable aspect of peoples lives and there are healthier ways to promote their company. This is definitely not one of them.
Orange theory went out of their way for my wife and I. We are both training for military bootcamp, and they truly have given us a workout that pushes us physically. They even tailored a billing plan to meet our needs, since we have to ship out relatively soon. The staff is enthusiastic and freindly, and I genuinely appreciate their service!
Ive been a member of OTF since 2015. Everything about this place is awesome. The coaches are amazing and truly care about their members. We are more like family. I love participating in the challenges. OTF has brought out a side of me I never knew existed. Upbeat music! They also are very involved in the community and support various charities which I love. There is always a different activity going on from No Shower HH, Dri-Tri challenges, benchmark goals, All Out Bingo. I love OTF!
OTF triangle got me in the best shape of my life! Since Ive moved out of Austin Ive missed it so much. Special shout out to Josh and J2, but just because theyre the coaches that I got to know the best doesnt mean that the other coaches arent kick ass as well. I never had a bad class in about 8 months of going. Id highly recommend Orangetheory to anyone looking to get in fantastic shape and have a blast while doing it.
#trisquad!! I started Orange Theory about three years ago, and it has changed my life! I started taking three classes a week, then bumped it up to four, and now 6 days a week. While I love how I am always challenged by the changing workout, what I love most is the camaraderie of the members, and the coaches and staff! Head coach Elvis Fisher is the best, and makes working out FUN! I have taken classes in a few other states, none can compare to Trisquad! I always cannot wait to come home to Triangle!
Orange theory at the Triangle shows little to no remorse or sympathy for any of its long time members during hardship, and while Orangetheory was once valued in my eyes, it no longer is after learning the circumstances of what OT calls proper procedures meaning withholding money from college students who have been forced to leave town/lose their jobs and not even have the opportunity to participate in a class for the past month. I will spend my time doing business else here and I advise you to do the same. Try equinox, Ive heard great things.
I work 13 hour shifts and do not love waking up at 4:30am to work out, but since starting Orange Theory I look forward to the mornings to get my workout in. Even if that means getting up at 4:30am! The instructors are awesome and I love that I can push myself hard and see my heart rate while I workout.
All my peeps already know Im sold on OTF, but I wanted to add this review to provide an update.I started at the Triangle location around three years ago, and during that time Ive been an up and down member. Id work up to four days a week, then one thing or another would pull me away for a while, so my progress was more spotty than Id have liked. Diet wasnt the best, either.I recommitted myself and have now worked my way up to 5 days a week. Just as importantly, Ive gotten my diet right, instituting some really good nutrition habits that, combined with the OTF sessions, have finally given me some seriously solid results. In fact, during my last physical, my doctor was impressed with my blood pressure and heart rate. He also made it a point to tell me he was removing the overweight classification from my chart. When I started at OTF, I weighed 196 pounds. Now Im down to 175, which has been my goal for two years. This program works.
I would not recommend it due to their customer service and unwillingness to hear out customer concerns. Out of all the locations this regional group manages this OTF by far offers the worst experience. When I try make changes even prior to 8+ hours in advance 1.) I cannot get through the phone even calling 5-6 times. 2.) their unwillingness to hear or resolve my customer complaint. I’m canceling my premium membership after this month. Save your money and go to F45 or a different HIIT facility that is more customer-centric.
Waitlisted for a class, no confirmation was given that I was accepted in any way , and was charged for a class. Asked for the credit back, refused; full refund of my purchase of class packs, and refuses. Called back three times for the “refund policy”.l, twice with Talia and one with Brian. Direct violation of UDAAP and will be following up with the corporate office.I hope you improve on the communications and follow up.FYI if anyone wants the free try session: my first “free” class was paid for with my class pack.Coach Eli’s sessions were awesome, but the policies are .. questionable
I am in Austin from our of town and have always wanted to try orange theory, so I scheduled a class for 8pm. I was set to arrive for the 7:30 orientation but took a wrong exit on my way (again, not familiar with the city) and walked in the doors 5min late. I apologized to the receptionists who both said it was no problem. One of them took my name and went to get the trainer, only to return to tell me the trainer would not do the orientation because I had arrived late. I explained the situation -- that I had made a wrong turn, that I was from out of town and would not be able to return another day, that I am a certified personal trainer and would likely be able to pick up on the explanation off the class quickly, etc. But the trainer would not discuss it with me and turned me away. I was still charged the drop in fee ($28). I recognize it is their prerogative to turn people away in this situation, even by such a small margin of error, but I would argue that this is TERRIBLE customer service and a completely uncompassionate way to treat a prospective member of another Orange Theory facility.
These people are absolutely ridiculous! I signed up in October for a free two weeks and was told after the two weeks I would be charged and if I didnt like the classes I could cancelled and would get charged! So I cancelled over the phone before going because I wound up doing something different and didnt think anything of it! Then I got charged for that month anyways and had to call and call so many times to even talk to a person to which i wound up (or so I thought) only paying for the first month and canceling my membership back in October! Well my life got busy with the holidays and moving to a new city and today I looked at my bank account and realized they never even cancelled my membership and have been charged since October! Like what the hell! I have called and not a single person ever answers the phone but they have no problem taking money from me! My advice dont join this gym! If you have issues they will say they fixed them and never do a damn thing!
The coaches here are absolutely amazing, and it kills me to leave this review, but I really need to given how TERRIBLE the sales/administrative staff has been here.Orange Theory triangle has been an absolute nightmare. Seven months ago, I got knee surgery and was forced to freeze my account for three months. I came back to orange theory after three months freeze and was doing semi-light workouts (as much as one can do when recovering from recent knee surgery), and after about a month or two, my physical therapist made me freeze my account again because OTF was doing more damage than good on my knee. Fine - no problem. When I go in to freeze my account for a second time with an approved note from my physical therapist, the front desk staff says Okay - no problem! Youre account is frozen for the next month. Thanks for giving us your doctors note too because now we wont charge you the $15 account freeze charge. Great. Perfect. Done. But what happens on my next bill cycle date (about two weeks later)? I get charged my full monthly charge. Annoyed, I call the front desk and speak with a girl named Maggie and explain my situation. She tells me she is absolutely getting it taken care of, and that she would speak with her manager Margaux to get my refund. Great.SO, a week goes by and I hear nothing from Maggie. I text Maggie to find out what the update is because I still have not received my refund. What does Maggie text me back, you ask? This: Oh, sorry! I actually dont work about OTF anymore. So sorry! Great. So my problem is once again getting swept under the rug.I then call Margaux and leave a voicemail, very displeased. Margaux calls me back later that day to apologize and inform me that my refund is getting process, MINUS THE $15 ACCOUNT FREEZE. Pissed, I explain to Margaux that I handed in my doctors note to excuse me from classes which would eliminate the $15 account freeze charge, and she explains to me that she will work on getting the additional $15 refunded back to me.its now been over a month, and I have not heard from Margaux, and I have no received my additional $15. Do you think I care about $15? Absolutely not. Its the principle and fact that OTF wont return my calls and thinks that since the dollar amount is so low, I wont notice or care.I am so displeased with the disorganization of this location. I will be changing my home studio to the downtown location or just cancel my membership all together - which sucks to say because I live very close to the triangle and LOVE the workouts, but I simply cannot continue on with a company that doesnt care about its customers.
I tried so hard to get to my first class 30 mins ahead of time but rush hour and parking were not in my favor. Still, I arrived at 6:18 only THREE minutes past the arrival time. They would not let me in. I already know what a heart monitor is...the orientation definitely couldve been done in 27 minutes. It isnt customer friendly at all. Horrible customer service. I was told I will not be charged for my visit, which seems obvious, but reading these other reviews makes me doubt that. Refusing someone who is three minutes late (to a thirty minute early start time, mind you) then charging them seems very shady so fingers crossed this business hasnt stooped that low.
The manager/staff was anything but helpful. I showed up and it took a long time to get registered and they refused to let me do the class. They kept telling me “it’s policy” “it’s policy”. Seems like a pretty stupid policy. Why would you start signing someone up and everything only to essentially kick them out of a class. Never coming back to this location again. Dear manager, you could do a lot better.
I have been to 5 different studios and this place does not take care of its customers. I was with two other friends (who are both subscribers) and one of our friends was coming for the first time.... because we told him it was amazing.... and he was there 20 minutes early and they did not let him in! We all drove together so we all had to leave and I lost my credits. Horrible management. She was rude and does not care about the customer.

2022-07-05I love orange theory and their workouts. More importantly i love their staff, the instructors are really knowledgeable and they do an amazing job of pumping you up and motivating you. What I love about OT is there are options for all levels of fitness. I am not a runner, but there is an option of power walking which is great. Basically you dont need any prerequisites to attend OT, which is awesome. It is pricey for sure, but i feel it’s worth it, it’s an investment for your health.

2022-06-11Coach Shelby Hart is the best coach orange theory has ever had! As a fitness instructor myself I’m hyper aware/picky of coaches and Hart is a cut above the rest. Her cues/form coaching are useful and helpful without feeling overwhelming and she is SO motivating without sounding like a cheerleader. My workout crew (my dad and best friend rachel) agree we would follow Hart into battle. From Rachel- “she is literally the reason I go.” Hart is able to command the room like a true coach and makes you WANT to work harder.

2022-05-07Ive been to a couple studious now and both have been great. I like this one a lot because the coaches are very high energy and do a great job leading classes and taking a personal interest in your fitness journey. The front desk people make a point to learn your name and help you with anything you need. OTF triangle is a great location!

2021-12-15Is this an appropriate forum to gush about the trainers here?Is there an Orange Theory system where I can give 5 stars to Eli, Danny, and Megan? I absolutely hate all forms of group exercise, except for Orange Theory. It goes fast, it is a complete workout, and you feel great when it is over. And you can see your progress. Also Eli, Danny, and Megan are incredible coaches, very nice, enough help to make sure you do not kill yourself on the weight floor - and just the right amount of encouragement to get you through the workout. I hate to talk about how good Orange Theory Triangle is, because it will get crowded, but I have to shout out the incredible work these people do

2022-01-18Orangetheory is a great workout for any fitness levels. They give you various options, and it’s a good balance of cardio and weight training. This is one of the few workouts I’ve tried where I have that “I got a good workout” feeling every time.

2022-05-03Love gym! Makes it feel like you have your own personal trainer even in a class!
