Ornamental Iron did an amazing job on my custom entry railings. They were very prompt, professional, and courteous. They went above and beyond my expectations, very HIGHLY recommended!
Foremost and important of them all, spectacular craftsmanship! The craftsmen in Ornamental Iron of Houston have created my stair railing even better than my imagination. They are easy to work with and always professional.
Called for service on a multi thousand dollar gate opener they installed. Took 3 weeks to get a response and no one showed up on the day they said they would. Then there has been no response and my gate still wont work. I called the manufacturer for assistance and learned even though the installation was only 4 years old, the unit they installed was 7 years old and out of warranty. Pretty shady. Now I have to spend another $800 with another company to come out and fix it. Never again.

2022-02-25I would like to say that growing up around the real estate business, I have never seen a more professional run company that still treats you like family. I worked with Ornamental Iron of Houston on staircase railings, wine cellar windows and a the wine cellar door. I had alot of custom requests that were beautifully rendered. The attention to detail was extraordinary. They even custom made and hand forged the grape clusters for the wine cellar doors/windows from iron rods and looked so realistic. I have lived in Napa Valley and can say without even a doubt that the finest wineries did not have the quality of iron doors that Ornamental Iron produced. Even the vines were hand textured to look real. The finish on the railing was done to perfection. I would not hesitate in the future to use them on any future project. I highly recommend Ornamental Iron of Houston if you want a class A job done.

2022-03-05March 2022We recently moved into our new home from construction of roughly one year. From original design we planned a wine room for the house in an internal portion of the home and wanted to have a great wine room door as it would be visible from much of the living area. This was not a large collection room as we planned for roughly 400 – 500 bottles capacity.Looking for wine doors I found several sites that shared nice doors – however they all were made in China. Now the advantage is price in these situations, however I could not bring myself to buy from China something that was to be our “forever” home.In one search I found Ornamental Iron of Houston. It was located in Channelview just outside of Houston. We drove to the site to see what they make and whether they could help with our door. What a great find!Joe was great in discussing the design and style – basically saying “give me an idea of what you want, and we can make it”. The heavy steel that the door is made from gives a solid appearance; but the craftsmanship of handmade leaves and fruit laced into the pattern were fabulous. Not only that Joe and his guys made the door frame and brought it out prior to completion for the framers to fit the wall structure around it before sheetrock.With the fitting of the door framing and delivery with installation from Ornamental Iron of Houston – the China options were not even close to being less money much less the piece of art that we received.Now completed the door is beautiful and seals extremely well – all door gaskets and glass fit together as ART rather than construction pieces. 2022-02-25Excellent workmanship with care and consideration of our home. This is the second time we have used them. The first time in 2008 to design and construct gates and fencing around a small “secret garden” on our property. This time he refurbished an outside spiral staircase and railings.off our master bedroom. Expert removal of rust, welding and painting restored to it’s original state. Joe’s craftsmen were meticulous.He himself was on site frequently for oversight and made a final inspection with us at completion. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

This was a small project but was treated as importantly as a huge commercial job. Our first meeting was on June 17 and after spending time on the design and several rain delays the gate was installed on July 12 with our complete satisfaction! The craftsmanship was excellent and Mr. Joe was very personable, professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this company for any iron project you might plan. 2019-05-03It was a pleasure to work with the people of Ornamental Iron of Houston. They created many pieces of art for my home that bring me joy every time I see them. I get compliments all the time on the iron works that grace my home. Unintentionally I have become a good source of referral for the company because I get asked often who fabricated those pieces.I did extensive research, met or spoke with numerous people and companies before deciding to work with Ornamental Iron of Houston. The owner and his employees were very professional, patient and nice to work with. This is ever more important when you are creating custom work and appreciate attention to fine details.
